The Data Show Israel Is Not Causing a Gazan Famine

Israel’s acknowledgement that a drone attack mistakenly killed seven aid workers in Gaza has led to renewed criticism of the Jewish State. The tragic incident came less than three weeks after a report issued by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) claimed that 1.1 million people – nearly half the population of Gaza – face “catastrophic food insecurity” conditions and that Northern Gaza will face famine by May if hostilities continue.

The European Union’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell, blamed Israel, saying, “Starvation is used as a weapon of war. Israel is provoking famine.” And U.S. officials unveiled a United Nations ceasefire resolution that cited “famine” conditions after the IPC report came out.

But Hamas, which has been hoarding food and stealing from Gazans, is the root cause of Gazans’ suffering. As Congressman Jim Himes, a Connecticut Democrat and ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, stated in a CNN interview: “Hamas has a long history of stealing aid, and needs to stop that in the interest of the people that they purport to represent.”

Israel has tried for years to balance its interests with those of innocent Palestinians. Its maritime blockade did not stop Gaza from being self-sufficient in fruits and vegetables, with enough left over to potentially export.. Despite the war, three-quarters of greenhouse acres were still available as of Feb. 15, according to a United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) report, which has the latest available data. Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) indicates that bakeries can still provide “over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads a day.”

Since the war began, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have engaged in what West Point Urban Warfare Studies Chairman John Spencer described as “a remarkable, historic new standard” for wartime treatment of civilians, resulting in a civilian-to-combatant mortality ratio that is “historically low for modern urban warfare.” For example, Israel regularly provides warnings of impending attacks, assists with evacuations, and even stops its attacks on a daily basis to allow humanitarian aid to arrive.

Despite the recent tragedy, the IDF tries to ensure that Gazans don’t starve throughout the war.COGAT data show that 290,000 tons of food and beverages have been delivered to Gaza since October — recently as many as 200 truckloads a day. Full distribution of these supplies would deliver about 1.82 pounds of food daily for each of the 2 million people in Gaza (145 kg per person, during 175 days of war). Based on FAO estimates of the average daily consumption in Asia and Africa (where Gaza is situated), this alone would be enough to supply 50% of Gazans’ daily consumption needs – on top of the food they continue to produce themselves.

Israel has also collaborated with the U.S. to provide further aid. The Biden administration recently announced plans to build an emergency pier that would provide 2 million meals per day.  This idea was first suggested to President Biden by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last October, just weeks after the war started.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that leaders have been misled about the data surrounding the Israel-Hamas war. For example, policymakers and news media have repeatedly cited casualty numbers taken from none other than Hamas itself. But Abraham Wyner, a professor of statistics and data science at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, has stated that “the numbers are not real.” For one thing, he writes, there is little variability in the daily reported casualty numbers, despite variability in the daily numbers of strikes, and the randomness in collateral damage arising from any given strike. Additionally, “the ebbs and flows of the bombings and attacks by Israel should cause the daily counts of men and women to move together. But that is not what the data show. Not only is there not a positive correlation, there is a strong negative correlation.”

Much of the apparent confusion results in criticisms of Israel, as we saw early in the conflict with an alleged hospital bombing that turned out to be a likely terrorist group’s rocket gone awry.  Despite the uproar over the IPC report and the aid workers’ tragic deaths, Israel is not the Palestinians’ enemy. It is their partner for a peaceful future, while Hamas uses civilians as human shields and cannon fodder. Leaders can most help the Palestinians by allowing Israel to completely uproot Hamas, thus giving a fresh start to the Middle East.

WTH? UC Women’s Coach Dawn Staley Says She’s OK with Trans Men Playing in Women’s College Basketball (VIDEO

The Iowa Hawkeyes women’s team will play the South Carolina Gamecocks Sunday afternoon at 2 PM in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship.

On Saturday Coach Dawn Staley from the undefeated SC Gamecocks spoke with the media before the final on Sunday.

During questioning, Outkick reporter Dan Zaksheske asked Staley about her stance on transgender athletes, particularly biological males, participating in women’s sports.

From her body language, Staley was noticeably shaken by the question. But she told the reporter she supported the idea.

Here’s the exchange:

Dan Zaksheske: “Dan Zaksheske, Outkick Sports. You just talked about what a massive weekend this is, obviously, for women’s basketball, women’s sports in general. One of the major issues facing women’s sports right now is the debate, discussion topic about the inclusion of transgender athletes, biological males in women’s sports. I was wondering if you would tell me your position on that issue.

Dawn Staley: Damn, you got deep on me. I’m of the opinion of If you’re a woman, you should play. If you consider yourself a woman and you want to play sports or vice versa, you should be able to play. That’s my opinion. You want me to go deeper?

Dan Zaksheske: “Do you think transgender women should be able to participate in college basketball?

Dawn Staley: “That’s your question you want me to ask. I’ll give you that. “Yes. Yes.” So now the barnstorm of people are going to flood my timeline and be a distraction to me on one of the biggest days of our game. I’m okay with that. I really am.”

This would be the end of women’s basketball if this became mainstream.
Liberals are crazy.

Elon Musk Warns Biden Regime’s Obsession With Ukraine Joining NATO Risks ‘Nuclear Apocalypse’

Elon Musk has warned that the Biden regime’s commitment to making Ukraine a member of NATO risks bringing the world toward a “nuclear apocalypse.”

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Thursday that Ukraine be granted NATO membership and that Washington’s support for the country remains “rock solid.”

“Ukraine will become a member of NATO,” Blinken told reporters in Brussels following a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. “Our purpose at the summit is to help build a bridge to that membership.”

“Based on what I heard today … everyone, including the United States, is going to double back and, as necessary, double down on finding the resources that Ukraine continues to need,” he continued.

“More than 30 countries now have signed or are in the process of negotiating signing bilateral agreements with Ukraine, and we’re ourselves, the United States, working on our own bilateral agreement.”

Responding to a tweet about Blinken’s comments, Musk replied: “This is literally how the nuclear apocalypse movie starts.”

Third Largest Teachers’ Union Faces Demise of Its Own Making

In a frantic attempt to preserve its monopoly over the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, attorneys for the union currently representing the district’s 24,000-plus teachers and support staff are relying on a strategy that has the potential to backfire and leave its members without workplace representation altogether.

On March 18, United Teachers of Dade (UTD), using an argument that would invalidate its own petition, asked a hearing officer with Florida’s Public Employee Relations Commission (PERC) to reject a competing union’s bid to participate in a forthcoming election to determine the bargaining representative for the South Florida educators.

The election is the result of a law passed by the state’s legislature last May requiring a recertification vote for government employee unions whose paid membership falls below 60 percent of the total bargaining unit.

The statute stripped dozens of smaller Florida unions of their certification in the ensuing months, and now UTD — one of the country’s largest teacher’s unions — is facing the same fate after an independent audit in December found only 56 percent of the defined bargaining unit were paying dues.

The recertification vote has not yet been scheduled, but in the meantime a startup union, dubbed the Miami-Dade Education Coalition (MDEC), has requested its name appear on the same ballot. On March 11, MDEC arrived at PERC’s headquarters in Tallahassee with 2,564 showing-of-interest cards — far more than needed under the agency’s regulations to ensure the new union a spot on the ballot.

UTD, however, filed a response in which its lawyers argue state laws only permit MDEC to participate in a certification election, not a re-certification election.

The union is flat-out wrong about that.

UTD’s legal argument is fundamentally flawed. According to Fla. Stat. § 447.305(6), the guidelines for certification laid out in Fla. Stat. § 447.307(2) and (3) apply to recertification efforts as well, and therefore permit another employee organization to intervene in the representation election process.

Despite this clarity, UTD attorneys insist MDEC is ineligible to participate in the recertification election, despite MDEC’s compliance with applicable statutes.

Even more puzzling, UTD itself is already using the certification procedures set forth in § 447.307(2) and (3) in its petition for recertification. Yet it asks PERC to selectively permit UTD’s use of the certification process while denying MDEC use of the same process for its motion to intervene.

This creates the possibility of two outcomes:

PERC disagrees with UTD and both unions appear on the same election ballot; or,
PERC agrees with UTD and has no choice but to apply the same standard to both unions.

To put it mildly, this is an incredibly irresponsible move by UTD because it puts PERC in the position of determining whether Florida law applies to both petitions or neither.

If it applies to both, MDEC is as entitled to participate in the coming election as UTD. If not, PERC lacks any framework to process UTD’s “recertification” petition at all, and the union’s certification would be revoked.

You heard that right. The union would be officially finished of its own doing. Its leaders would have denied MDEC a chance to intervene but destroyed their own union in the process.

As a seasoned educator in Miami, I find myself unsurprised by the predictable reaction of the union to a quandary it directly caused. This incident merely adds to the extensive track record of ineptitude showcased by this union throughout its history.

Time and again UTD faltered when representing the bargaining unit, from failing to contest the school district’s decision to eliminate step raises to refusing to adequately address problematic working conditions.

For this reason, a group of like-minded educators established MDEC — with the objective of maintaining a laser-focus on issues concerning the wages, benefits and working conditions of Miami-Dade teachers and staff.

Under our administration, membership dues will be much lower because MDEC will have no affiliation with the National Education Association or the American Federation of Teachers.  Thus, millions of dollars will not be diverted to national headquarters, nor will MDEC use members’ hard-earned wages to fund political candidates and causes those members may not agree with.

Simply put, MDEC embodies the true vision of what UTD originally should have been, but never lived up to. The whole point of the new recertification requirement is to make public-sector unions more accountable. By its actions, UTD is showing exactly why it was necessary.

Instead of attacking its accusers, UTD should be cleaning up its own act.  It should be taking responsibility for the corruption and incompetence that has cost it nearly half its paid membership.

Its inability or unwillingness to do so unmistakably highlights why UTD’s incompetent rule must end. Miami-Dade educators should seize the chance to vote for a union that embodies the original purpose for unions: prioritizing wages, benefits, and working conditions.

TYT’s Cenk Uygur Admits Democrats Rig Elections For ‘Corrupt’ Joe Biden, Now ‘Considering’ Voting For RFK Jr. (VIDEO)

Cenk Uygur, the founder and lead host of The Young Turks, has said he is “considering” voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over Joe Biden.

Speaking with his fellow host Ana Kasparian, Uygur broke down how the Democratic Party rigs election in favor of Joe Biden and smears outside candidates who they deem as a threat to their worldview:

The headlines are wrong. He didn’t say Biden is a bigger threat, he said he could make an argument for that. And you’ve got to be careful with that. You know what the mainstream media loves to do, they love to smear anyone who’s an outsider.

Number two, he’s right to be concerned about Biden being a threat to democracy himself, maybe not for the reasons that he’s stating, but Biden did support anti-democratic movements within the primary. The Democratic Party cancelled the election in Florida; they tried to keep out every candidate in North Carolina, Tennessee, et cetera.

So they love to rig elections; yes, I used the word rigged, so you can go cry about it in mainstream media. How about you do you job and talk about how they cancelled an election in Florida and just declared Biden the winner. So if you’re going ot make the argument you are a champion of democracy, you should probably try it in your own primaries.

Uygur then dropped the real bomb:

For the first time today, I’m now considering RFK Jr… Is it because I think maybe he is right about vaccines? No, he is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs on vaccines and on several other things where he believes in conspiratorial theories that I don’t believe in at all. So why on God’s green earth am I considering RFK Jr?

Well until now I hadn’t beause of those crazy things where I don’t come anywhere near believing. But I thought about it Anna and Trump I would never support in a million years. Biden is now funding a genocide and is an awful choice and has been corrupt his whole life. You’re never going to get anything but corruption from Biden.

So am I positive RFK Jr. would be worse? On health and science definitely he would be worse, but on everything else like anti-establishment, money out of politics, I’m not positive RFK JR. would be worse than Biden.

Such comments add to the growing body of evidence that RFK Jr. could hurt Joe Biden more than Donald Trump. Just last week, Kennedy’s sister Rory described her brother’s presidential ambitions as “dangerous to our country” because they risked putting Trump in the Oval Office.

“My biggest concern with Bobby’s run is that he is going to take votes away from Biden, and I think this election is going to come down to a handful of votes in a handful of states,” she explained. “And I am concerned that voting for Bobby is going to take votes away from Biden and lead to a Trump election.”

Women Gather in Scotland to ‘Test’ New Fascist ‘Hate Crime’ Law Surrounded By Screaming, Hostile Trans Activists

On Saturday, Let Women Speak (LWS), an organization defending biological women from the radical trans agenda, held a rally in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The rally was led by LWS founder Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, who said her purpose was to “test the law” to see how the police would handle gender-critical chants in light of Scotland’s new hate crime legislation.

Speaking to the crowd, Keen-Minshull described transitioning children as “profound abuse” and called Scotland’s hate crime laws “preposterous.”

The fascist “hate crime” law went into effect on April 1.

Sky News reports:

The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act came into force on Monday 1 April and aims to provide greater protection for victims and communities. It consolidates existing legislation and introduces new offences for threatening or abusive behaviour which is intended to stir up hatred based on prejudice towards characteristics such as age, disability, religion, sexual orientation and transgender identity.

The new provisions add to the laws on the statute book for race, which have been in place UK-wide since 1986. Sex has been omitted from the act as a standalone bill designed to tackle misogyny is expected to be laid before the Scottish parliament at a later date.

During the rally, LWS faced vocal opposition from various pro-transgender groups.

Edinburgh News:

While Ms Keen publicly thanked Police Scotland “for keeping women safe at the event”, many among her supporters were left angry and frustrated. Several complained about being “corralled” into too small a space while being surrounded on three sides by trans activists hurling abuse at them throughout the two-hour event.

They were labelled “Nazis” by mega-phone wielding trans activists close to where the women were gathered and at one point officers “contained” the section of trans activists as they shouted and chanted insults at the women. Many women told of their anger and anxiety at being “kettled” and encircled by a hostile crowd with whistles, sirens, mega phones and horns in a bid to drown out the women’s event.

While angry, masked men with loudspeakers, sirens, & abusive signs hung over the barriers to intimidate, antagonise and silence women, @policescotland put hands on women to physically move them at the demand of trans activists.

Terrell County, Texas Sheriff Works Tirelessly to Stop Illegal Immigration – 11 Illegals Caught in Remote Area of County (VIDEO)

Ali Bradley of News Nation reported that 11 illegal aliens from Mexico were caught in a remote area of Terrell County, Texas early Saturday. According to Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland, the group of people crossed the border the night before. They were transported and will face processing for deportation.

The Sheriff has been working closely with the Border Patrol to catch illegals that are making their way through this remote part of Terrell County.

Sheriff Cleveland currently has 5 deputies working with him to cover about 2,300 square miles and works regularly with the Border Patrol to catch illegals. They are out there consistently because of the number of crossings they are dealing with.

Texas has been a shining example of taking border security seriously. Earlier this month, the Texas National Guard in El Paso installed razor wire and climb proof fences to deter border crossings.

An estimated 10 to 12 million illegals have entered the US under the Biden regime. That number continues to rapidly climb.

That number equals about the population of 41 individual states.

Kari Lake Senate Challenger Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego Parties With George Soros’s Son but Criticizes Lake for Record Breaking Mar-A-Lago Event

Arizona Senate Candidate and current Congressman Ruben Gallego, who represents crime and drug-infested South Phoenix, recently attacked Kari for hosting a fundraising event at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump-Endorsed Arizona GOP Senate Candidate Kari Lake raised a record-breaking one million dollars on Wednesday at a Mar-a-Lago fundraiser with President Trump, Roger Stone, and conservative comedian Roseanne Bar in attendance.

Kari Lake SMASHES Fundraising Record – Raises ONE MILLION Dollars at Mar-a-Lago Fundraiser

Gallego was quick to criticize Lake’s fundraiser, saying in a social media post, “I’d take a town hall with hardworking Arizonans over Mar-a-Lago any day.”

However, as many pointed out, Gallego recently attended a fundraising event in his honor with Alex Soros, son of leftist billionaire megadonor George Soros, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of ‘Hamilton.’ It does not appear that this event was held in Arizona, and it was definitely not held with the “hardworking Arizonans” that Gallego portrays to affiliate with.

Fox reported,

Alex Soros, son of liberal billionaire George Soros who now leads his father’s nonprofit empire, has continued huddling with Democrats leading up to the 2024 elections.

Soros posted a picture “kicking off campaign season” on social media this week with likely Democrat Arizona Senate nominee Rep. Ruben Gallego, who has received thousands of dollars from Soros this cycle.

Gallego attended the affair alongside Soros despite previously declaring the “ultra-wealthy don’t need any more advocates in Washington” and knocking the GOP for standing with “special interests and their billionaire buddies.”

Soros, meanwhile, has been an ardent supporter of Gallego. Federal Election Commission records show that he maxed out $6,600 in donations to his campaign for the 2024 elections.

As RAV correspondent Ben Bergquam noted last month, Gallego was hugging Soros “like a little schoolboy” and “sucking up to the communist left.”

“This might be one of the most pathetic pictures I’ve ever seen,” said Bergquam captioning the photo of Ruben Gallego appearing to kiss Soros’s ass:

The Dystopian Surveillance Programs Right In America’s Heartland

The Dystopian Surveillance Programs Right In America’s Heartland

Automatic license plate readers give local police departments powers once available only to the world’s totalitarian regimes.

Credit: Dmitry Kalinovsky

If you travel any meaningful distance within Illinois via the state’s highways or expressways, a detailed, time-stamped record of your route and approximate destination will be logged by multiple law enforcement agencies.

In part this is due to the state’s massive automatic license plate reader (ALPR) program, which recently expanded to cover approximately 6,600 miles of roadway. The rapid adoption of the technology by local law enforcement agencies has left them with surveillance programs that five years ago most would have thought were the domain of dystopian novels and major cities like London, New York, and Chicago.

In the state of Illinois, as is true for much of the rest of the country, the use of automated license plate readers, commonly referred to as ALPRs, remains largely unregulated; Illinois’s limited restrictions primarily pertain to sharing information that could be used against those seeking abortions or who are in the United States illegally.

Typically placed at intersections or along the side of the road, sometimes attached to police cars,  ALPRs log the license plates and other identifying information of passing vehicles. If a passing vehicle is being sought by law enforcement and on a hot list, a notification may be sent out to officers in the area. Otherwise, a vehicle’s data are generally stored in a searchable database for later reference.

“We are seeing them used at all levels of government,” stated Edwin Yohnka, the director of communications and public policy at ACLU Illinois in an early 2023 phone interview with The American Conservative. “The state police have begun a very aggressive campaign of using them on highways and specifically on the expressways in and around Chicago, ostensibly in that instance because they are concerned about…the shootings that have taken place on the expressways over the last couple of years.”

“We’re seeing them used in some instances at the county level where law enforcement officials are using them…as part of regional task forces,” he continued.

In those instances, said Yohnka, the claim is that they are being used to address violent crime in larger communities or in efforts to recover stolen vehicles.

“And finally, at the municipal level,” he said, “there has been over the last twelve to eighteen months a significant push to use the camera systems in communities, you know, whether as large as Chicago or…some suburbs that by comparison are fairly small.”

In such comparatively small communities, Yohnka said, “the cameras are often marketed as a crime-fighting device.”

In the absence of much regulation at the state or national level, policies regarding their use and what if any privacy protections are in place vary considerably by agency and municipality.

“What we’re seeing then,” stated Yohnka, “is an incredible breadth in terms of, for example, how much or how long the data is stored—whether it’s stored for sixty days or ninety days.”

According to Yohnka, when the ACLU-IL did an in-depth analysis of ALPR policies in Illinois several years earlier, some places maintained the data indefinitely.

Given the strict regulations on comparable devices in Illinois such as stingrays, a device that surreptitiously collects data from people’s cell phones, there would seem to be an obvious question of why there is not greater regulation in place regarding the use of ALPRs in Illinois.

In an early 2023 phone interview with TAC, Khadine Bennett, ACLU-IL’s director of advocacy and intergovernmental affairs, explained her organization actually attempted to push for such regulation around the time the stingray legislation was passed but noted the atmosphere for the regulation in that instance was different. Not many jurisdictions at the time were using stingrays, she noted, making it easier to get bipartisan support for regulation.

“When it came time to regulate ALPRs, I think at that point there were probably maybe at least forty localities we knew of based on who responded to a FOIA who were using them,” she said.

When the ACLU-IL attempted to push for the regulation of ALPRs at the state level, Bennett said, ACLU-IL’s starting point in negotiations was a retention period of twenty-four hours for information for vehicles not actively being sought by law enforcement. This, she said, would at least prevent the proliferation of data over time. Law enforcement, however, she said, “started from a place of wanting it forever.”

Subsequently, Bennett said, the ACLU-IL went back and forth with law enforcement over the course of negotiations which came to an end when law enforcement settled on three years and refused to budge. Most localities in Illinois at the time, Bennett said, already had a retention period of 30 days; some had a retention period of only 15 days.

“So at that point,” she said, “our assessment was instead of having this really long retention period of three years…both sides essentially decided not to pursue [it].”

“Also, like there were more law enforcement entities using that kind of technology, so I think once you start using it, there’s a desire to keep using it,” she added.

Yet, even if a retention period of 30 days affords citizens more privacy than a retention period of three years, 30 days can still give law enforcement a considerable window into the private lives of ordinary citizens.

In a recent article published by the Brownstone Institute, Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst with the ACLU Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project, commented, “There’s no question that if you get enough license plate readers and you got one on every block, that put together…can create a GPS-tracker-like-record of my movement and even if there’s, you know, only one every ten miles and [I’m] driving around the country, I’m driving from Texas to California or what have you, that can be very revealing as well.”

Bennett, when asked whether people are generally aware of the use of ALPRs in their community, said, “I think it’s mixed in terms of them knowing about it. I think there are maybe some municipalities where folks had no idea, especially if they’re not following what’s happening at the local city council meetings.”

According to Yohnka, two or three years ago it was not uncommon for communities first to become aware of ALPRs in their neighborhood upon seeing them installed well after they were approved. More recently, however, he said, there has been more discussion and debate in at least some local governments in Illinois leading to a little more community awareness.

“When they are proposed, what we’re seeing is a real drive among community members to do, you know, to really kind of do some opposition or ask [for] more information about the privacy policy before they’re adopted,” he stated.

“I think there have been some instances where maybe some ALPRs have been delayed,” said Bennett. “I think we’ve seen cases where community folks have been able to…give input in terms of what the policy is for law enforcement in terms of having some level of transparency and accountability measures in place.”

In most cases, this is all opponents can usually get. Once local law enforcement is sold on the utility of ALPRs, whether as an investigative tool or as a deterrent for criminal activity, the most opponents can often hope for moving forward is a retention period around thirty days and perhaps some agreement to keep records on how the ALPRs are used and assess their effectiveness at a later date.

In the rare instance community members are able to thwart efforts to utilize the devices in their towns, proponents in law enforcement and the media continue the push for ALPRs, sometimes depicting local law enforcement’s inability to use the devices as a hindrance to their ability to fight crime even when evidence demonstrating this is lacking.

Christopher Evans, a city council member from Urbana, Illinois, made this point in a series of email comments in 2023 and 2024.

Through the correspondence he highlighted how Urbana city officials tried to bring ALPRs to Urbana in 2021 to address the uptick in gun violence the city experienced in 2020 and 2021.

This led to considerable debate at city council meetings and within the community. Ultimately, though the city council rejected the implementation of the devices in a four to three vote.

Additionally, as Evans noted, gun violence in Urban began to come down in 2022 and a report from the University of Illinois suggested a neighboring city’s ALPR program seldom facilitated arrests for likely gun felonies.

Nevertheless, Evans pointed out, representatives from local law enforcement have since made misleading statements to the press to garner support for bringing ALPRs to Urbana.

In one example Evans provided, an Urbana police lieutenant downplayed his department’s ability to apprehend a suspect in a case without ALPRs a few days before a suspect was apprehended. In another, the same lieutenant put out a press release in which he credited another town’s ALPRs as having helped apprehend suspects in a well-publicized local robbery even though the devices played absolutely no role.
