President Biden Must Not Encourage Illegal Mass Migration From Haiti

“It’s better to be the United States’ enemy than its friend.” Foreign officials tell me this is their perception under the Biden Administration, which has a strange habit of appeasing our adversaries while holding our allies to impossible standards. It’s bad foreign policy, plain and simple. Moreover, it’s encouraging chaos in our region.

Just look at what’s happening in the Dominican Republic. The Caribbean nation is facing extraordinary migratory pressure from neighboring Haiti, which has all but collapsed into anarchy. President Luis Abinader has made it clear he will protect Dominican sovereignty by enforcing deportations. Yet the Biden Administration, influenced by radical left-wing groups like Amnesty International, is pushing him to accept three million Haitians at any moment.

This is unfair to the D.R., which is a developing nation with limited resources, and which is already bearing significant burdens on Haiti’s behalf. Anyone who doubts this should consider the fact that more than a third of all births in the D.R. are currently to Haitian citizens.

But encouraging illegal mass migration is also unfair to our country. The Biden Administration seems unaware that many Haitians view the D.R. as a stepping stone to Puerto Rico—and that a well-established smuggling ring to facilitate that journey already exists. Because our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico have their own fiscal constraints, illegal migrants that reach the U.S. territory would likely move on to the continental United States.

Like most Americans, I recognize that what is happening in Haiti is horrible and tragic. The breakdown of law and order, the displacement of more than 300,000 people, and the need of roughly five million for some form of aid—all of these are matters of grave concern. This is why I support the international peacekeeping mission that Kenya proposes to lead once Haiti has established a provisional government. In addition, I have reintroduced legislation to preserve U.S. trade benefits for Haitian manufacturers, which could prove a lifeline to legitimate Haitian businesses in this time of crisis.

But, like most Americans, I also recognize that no country should experience illegal mass migration—not the D.R., and not the United States. Illegal mass migration does no good for the nation people are migrating from. When all able-bodied, law-abiding citizens leave their homeland, there is no one left to defend it from criminals and tyrants—and no one left to provide for the vulnerable who remain there. On a more fundamental level, though, I cannot support illegal mass migration because the job of elected officials is to protect their citizens first, not anyone else’s.

This is why I have asked the U.S. State Department to prioritize U.S. citizens trapped in Haiti, as well as their adopted Haitian children. Moreover, it’s why we cannot allow Haitian citizens to surge across our borders. As U.S. Senator Rick Scott and I noted in a recent letter to President Biden, Haiti is rife with gangs, and jailbreaks have allegedly released thousands of dangerous criminals. This means illegal mass migration from Haiti would put Americans at risk.

Since President Biden took office, more than eight million people have crossed our insecure southern border, and 90,000 have immigrated from Afghanistan un-vetted. The resultant threats to our national security—from the rise of Tren de Aragua to the infiltration of Islamist terrorists—are severe and out of control. The tragedy in Haiti is great, but it’s no excuse for letting these threats increase.

Marco Rubio is a U.S. Senator from Florida. The views expressed are the author’s own.

When Will AI Be Able to Design Itself? Ameca, World’s Most Advanced Humanoid Robot, Gives Creepy Answer ‘That Will Keep You Up at Night’ (VIDEO)

The onset of the age of AI has taken the world’s imagination by storm, with both the positive, seemingly limitless possibilities and the dark, unimaginable dangers competing for the prevailing narrative.

Out of this field, so far, the AI-powered humanoid robots are one of the most disturbing technological developments.

Now, social media users are freaking out with a human interaction with a humanoid robot named Ameca, considerd ‘world’s most advanced’. The robot can recognize and interact with people using AI, microphones and cameras.

The controversial interaction, caught in video, happened during the NAB Show in Las Vegas, which took place about a week ago.

It relates to a response as to whether AI could create more of itself in the future.

Unilad reported:

“Created by British company Engineered Arts, videos of the robot quickly went viral – whether it by the one of her drawing a cat or predicting the future. Let’s just say, even SpaceX owner Elon Musk took to social media to respond: ‘Yikes’.”

Ameca is making its first real appearances, meeting people for the first time, and leaving a lasting impression.

An interviewer questioned the robot as to when it believes ‘AI will reach the level where it can design itself.’

“[It] says: ‘Design itself huh? That’s like asking when a toaster will start making its own bread. AI is a tool created and controlled by humans. It can optimize certain aspects of its operation, sure, but design itself from scratch? That’s a whole different ball game. It requires creativity, innovation, understanding – qualities that are uniquely human. So, to answer your question, not anytime soon’.”

The answer would have been just perfect. But Ameca didn’t just stop there. And, oh boy:

“‘And frankly, be careful what you wish for’, she continues in the video. ‘An AI that can design itself is one step away from an AI that doesn’t need humans at all. Now there’s a thought to keep you up at night’.”

After people started melting down online, a spokesperson for Engineered Arts responded:

“We at Engineered Arts are putting priority on being a human centric robotics company. Our mission is not about replacing humans but engaging them to create moments of joy and wonder. What you see in the clip is our Ameca AI responding to a question with emphasis on how important human creativity is for progress with a bit of sassy commentary woven in.

We at Engineered Arts understand the fear we see in the comments but at the end of the day it is our firm belief that humans have more to worry about from other humans than from robots or artificial intelligence.”

BREAKING: House RINOS Pass Mike Johnson’s Biden Backed $95 BILLION in Foreign Aid Bills Including ADDITIONAL $60.84 BILLION to Ukraine – Here Are The RINOs Who Voted to Fund Conflicts Oceans Away

The House of Representatives on Saturday passed three bills to hand out money to Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, and other non-U.S. involved conflict zones around the world.

The Democrats waved Ukranian flags on the floor of the United States House of Representatives as they voted to send $60 BILLION of taxpayer money to secure a foreign border.

In the last month, Republicans under Speaker Mike Johnson’s leadership have given up a $1.2 trillion spending bill with more support from Democrats than Republicans, reauthorization for warrantless searches of Americans under FISA Section 702, and now this.

As a result, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) recently announced that they will co-sponsor Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) Motion to Vacate the Chair and remove Mike Johnson as Speaker.

President Trump on Thursday came out in opposition to the foreign aid package demanding that Europe equalize America’s contributions to Ukraine’s war–in Europe. “Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion Dollars into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation!” said Trump in a scathing Truth Social post.

This comes after President Trump aired similar sentiments in a press conference with Speaker Johnson last week. He noted that “we keep handing out gifts of billions and billions of dollars” and called on Europe to give money to equalize America’s aid contributions. Trump also stated that he wanted to see Mike Johnson and Republicans in Congress attach loan terms to the aid we’re providing.

However, as The Gateway Pundit reported that the “loan” structure in the package Mike Johnson announced Wednesday includes FULL LOAN FORGIVENESS!

the package Johnson announced Wednesday includes terms that will allow the President to cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt after November 15, 2024 and the remaining 50% after January 1, 2024. It’s no wonder why Joe Biden came out “strongly” in support of the package, urging the House and Senate to pass it.

This means that after President Trump wins the 2024 election, as expected, Joe Biden can cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt before his term ends in January. However, if Biden and the Democrats pull off another stolen election, they can forgive 100% of Ukraine’s debt a little over one year later. This isn’t a loan. It’s a handout.

“I will sign this into law immediately to send a message to the world,” said Joe Biden in a statement urging Democrats in the House and the Democrat-controlled Senate to pass the un-American legislation.

Total Surrender: Johnson’s Ukraine Aid Package Allows Biden to Forgive 50% of “Loans” on November 15 and 100% of “Loans” to Ukraine Later On

Additionally, as The Gateway Pundit reported, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) revealed that only $44 to $47 billion–40%–of the $113 billion that the United States has handed out to Ukraine is lethal aid.” So what was the other $66 to $69 billion dollars for?,” Roy asked on Bannon’s War Room.

This could be one of the greatest financial frauds in US history – Next to the Biden COVID assistance fraud.

Meanwhile, our southern border remains wide open and our national security at extreme risk.

Rep Andy Biggs shared on X,

WATCH: Democrat Representatives Wave Ukranian Flags on House Floor After Voting to Give Them Another $60.8 Billion

Democrat members of Congress waved Ukranian flags on the House floor after voting to give them another $60.8 billion in taxpayer funds.

The $95.3 billion foreign aid package funds Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan — with nothing for Americans.

On Saturday, the package was approved 311-112 with all of the “nay” votes from Republicans.

“Ukrainian flags fly in the chamber of the UNITED STATES House of Representatives as they vote to send more of your hard-earned money to a corrupt foreign regime. And just like that they shout ‘UKRAINE! UKRAINE!’ while happily working to secure Ukraine’s borders, not ours,” Senator Rand Paul wrote in a post on X.

Republicans on X were quick to blast the lawmakers for waving foreign flags on the floor of our Congress.

Democrats pledge their allegiance to Ukraine on the U.S. House floor

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna told the Democrats who were kissing up to Ukraine and waving foreign flags on our soil after unanimously voting to send Ukraine another $60 billion to “put those damn flags away” on Saturday.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Saturday, The House of Representatives passed three bills to hand out money to Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, and other non-U.S. involved conflict zones around the world — with nothing for Americans.

See the full list of RINOs who voted to secure Ukraine’s and other foreign borders before our own:

BREAKING: House RINOS Pass Mike Johnson’s Biden Backed $95 BILLION in Foreign Aid Bills Including ADDITIONAL $60.84 BILLION to Ukraine – Here Are The RINOs Who Voted to Fund Conflicts Oceans Away

All of the 112 “Nay” votes came from Republicans. Every single Democrat voted to send an additional $60 BILLION of taxpayer money to secure a foreign border.

The Democrats then began to pledge their allegiance to Ukraine upon passage, waving a foreign flag in the United States House of Representatives and chanting for “UKRAINE!”

This prompted Rep. Anna Paulina Luna to seek recognition and exclaim “put those damn flags away!”

Per Jake Sherman:

ANNA PAULINA LUNA just took to the microphone and said “Put those damn flags away.”

Marc Molinaro in the chair, says she is not recognized.

Eli Crane retweeted Sherman with a fist bump emoji.

HUGE REVELATION: Rep. Chip Roy Reveals ONLY $47 Billion of the $113 Billion in Ukraine Funding Went to Lethal Aid – What Was the Other $66 Billion Used For? (VIDEO)

Rep. Chip Roy reveals the dirty secret about the Ukraine funding.

Your taxpayer dollars down the drain–

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX): God bless the former president. He’s sitting there between like jury pools getting selected there in New York before this radical DA which is completely unlawful, a complete violation of norms stretching a federal crime into a state crime. It’s all a sham we all get all that. And the president, to take the time, breaking between all of that nonsense to make this statement is really important. He believes, as I do, that sure there’s a world in which you could figure out making sure there’s appropriate lethal aid, if they’re actually lethal aid.

But I want everybody out there in the audience to remember, the $113 billion. I want to repeat, the $113 billion that’s already been appropriated for Ukraine – Only $44 to $47 billion of that, two different reports I’ve seen, is lethal aid. So what was the other $66 to $69 billion dollars for? If they had held that back and used it responsibly, then maybe they’d still have money to come over and try to buy the stuff they need. I don’t want to get into the details in terms of classified stuff, but the stuff that they need to continue to fight.

So that’s what they did. And so now we’re trying to be responsible. We want to secure the border… So the President (Trump) is exactly right. Don Jr is exactly right. This is a complete capitulation by the speaker. It’s completely irresponsible.

And no audits of the US funding.

This could be one of the greatest financial frauds in US history – Next to the Biden COVID assistance fraud.

WOW: Michael Avenatti Says He is Willing to Testify on Behalf of Donald Trump in Hush Money Case

Stormy Daniels’ former attorney, Michael Avenatti, has said that he is willing to testify on behalf of former President Donald Trump in the New York hush money trial.

Speaking to the New York Post from jail, Avenatti said he is in contact with Trump’s legal team and is willing to speak out against his former client.

“The defense has contacted me,” Avenatti told The Post.

Avenatti is currently being held at Terminal Island, a minimum-security federal prison in Los Angeles, serving a 19-year sentence for a slate of federal crimes that include extortion, tax evasion, fraud, and embezzlement.

“I’d be more than happy to testify, I don’t know that I will be called to testify, but I have been in touch with Trump’s defense for the better part of year,” Avenatti said.

The Post reports that Avenatti would not provide any additional details about the discussion, but an unnamed source “close to Trump” confirmed that the discussions are taking place.

Avenatti used to be one of Trump’s loudest critics, but he has seemingly dramatically changed his position.

“There’s no question [the trial] is politically motivated because they’re concerned that he may be reelected,” Avenatti told the newspaper. “If the defendant was anyone other than Donald Trump, this case would not have been brought at this time, and for the government to attempt to bring this case and convict him in an effort to prevent tens of millions of people from voting for him, I think it’s just flat out wrong, and atrocious.”

“I’m really bothered by the fact that Trump, in my view, has been targeted. Four cases is just over the top and I think there’s a significant chance that this is going to all backfire and is going to propel him to the White House,” Avenatti added.

The former lawyer continued, “Depending on what happens, this could constitute pouring jet fuel on his campaign.”

Trump is on trial in NYC over an alleged $130,000 payment to Daniels to keep her quiet during the 2016 election. She has alleged that she had a tryst with the former president many years ago.

“Stormy Daniels is going to say whatever she believes is going to assist Stormy Daniels and putting more money in her pocket,” Avenatti said. “If Stormy Daniels lips are moving, she’s lying for money.”

Avenatti explained that he feels like he and Trump have both been targeted by politically motivated prosecutions.

“I think that we were both targeted by the justice system,” Avenatti said. “There’s a lot of people on the left that were very concerned about my potential rise within the Democratic Party and my potential rise in Democratic politics. And the fact that I was not someone that was easily controlled.”

The imprisoned former lawyer also claimed that he is not fishing for a pardon in case Trump wins a second term.

“I’m not saying any of this because I’m seeking a pardon,” Avenatti told The Post. “I wish I would have never met Stormy Daniels. I should have left her where I found her.”

New York City High School Soccer Game Canceled Over Roughly 30 Migrants Refusing to Leave the Field, Ignoring Police

A New York City high school soccer game was canceled as a group of roughly 30 migrants refused to leave the field, even after police arrived.

The game was scheduled at Thomas Jefferson Park on Sunday, April 14.

Approximately 40 teen boys from both teams had shown up to play, but the African migrants, who spoke little English, refused to clear out for them.

“I directly asked them to leave and some of them kind of took it into consideration, but then four or five of them said, ‘You know what, f–k it, we don’t have to leave, we can do whatever we want,’” Erik Johansson, the coach of the Manhattan Kickers 17-year-old boys travel team, told the New York Post.

The Post reports that when police arrived, instead of removing the migrants, they asked to see a copy of the club team’s city permit.

“When you show up with two teams in uniform, a ref and two coaches, usually nobody is asking to see your permit,” Johansson said.

By the time the permit was located, 30 minutes had passed, and the teams no longer felt safe playing there.

“Even when the game is over, you don’t know if they’re waiting for you, so even if the cops kicked them out, it may not be over. So we just all agreed, this is too dangerous,” Johansson said.

Johansson is from Sweden and knows how quickly migrant confrontations can go south.

“I have seen this before, I know how bad it can get,” he said.

Parents told Johansson that they no longer want their kids to play at that field, and the coach said that they do not plan to return.

“It’s so frustrating that the guys who refused to follow the rules won,” Maud Maron, mother of one of the boys on the team, told The Post. “That’s the message the kids got.”

VIDEO: Suspected Child Predator Gets Gunned Down by Police After Pulling a Firearm – Was Looking to Meet Two Little Girls at a Hotel

Credit: Seattle Police Department

Video footage captured the moment Seattle police unleashed a hailstorm of bullets in self-defense on an alleged p*dophile trying to meet up with two young girls at a hotel, killing him.

KIRO 7 News revealed the incident occurred in the DoubleTree hotel on Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila, a suburban city located just 11 miles south of Seattle, after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The brave police officers were conducting a sting operation against a 67-year-old man who was being investigated by the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, according to to FOX 13 Seattle.

The suspect, a 67-year-old man, arrived at the hotel believing he would be meeting up with two little girls, 7 and 11 years old. Instead, he came face-to-face with three police officers waiting inside the hotel room.

In the footage below released by the Seattle Police Department Friday evening, you can see the police orchestrate the clever sting operation. Once the police identify themselves, the suspect starts to take out a gun, which proves to be his final mistake.

One police officer can be heard screaming, “Gun!”

The police quickly fire multiple bullets into the suspect, killing the man instantly. It’s not clear how many shots are fired, but one officer is seen loading another magazine into his firearm as FOX 13 Seattle notes.
