After Chicago Approves $70M More for Illegals, Alderman Says “We are Not Taking Care of Our Own’

Chicago City Council

Like communities around the country, Chicago is hemorrhaging cash to deal with the devastating consequences of Joe Biden’s border disaster.

On Monday, the Budget and Government Operations Committee of the Chicago City Council voted 20-8 to send Mayor Brandon Johnson’s request for $70 million in additional City funding to care for illegals to the full Council.

CBS News reports that the request is part of a spending plan announced by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle in February. The State of Illinois and Cook County pledged a combined $250 million to help fund the crisis, which is anticipated to reach at least $321 million for shelter and services this calendar year.

During the heated debate, Ald. Chris Taliaferro of the 29th Ward said, “We are not taking care of our own. We have all but forgotten the residents on the West Side and South Side.”

Last Fall, Taliafarro spoke out against another example of the City putting illegals ahead of citizens when plans were announced to convert a youth football field into a shelter for illegals in his district.

9th Ward Ald. Anthony Beale added, “We don’t have money for after-school programs. We don’t have money to help our kids get off the street. Yet, we would just blow money left and right. That’s a fundamental problem.”

“And when we talk about this money, and as important as our children are to us, a place like Ogden Park, the field house is to the Inglewood community, where shootings take place, where every economic indicator, health indicator,  everything, everybody should be jumping to that to protect our children and give us the things we need,” said 17th Ward Ald. David Moore.

ABC News reports:

The money is needed as the Democratic National Convention approaches in August, according to sources familiar with the plan.

Most of the money would come from a reserve fund set up for migrants, and the rest from rainy day funds.

The city has spent nearly $300 million to help feed, shelter and care for migrants since August 2022, according to the mayor’s office.

Unleashing the Truth: The Hypocrisy of African Migrant Protests at New York City Hall

As tensions continue to rise across America, the city of New York has become a hub for political activism and social justice movements. However, amidst the sea of progressive voices, a group of African migrants have sparked controversy with their recent protests at City Hall.

In a bold display of defiance, these individuals have taken to the streets to denounce what they perceive as “anti-blackness” in the city. But from a conservative perspective, are these protests truly justified or just another example of the left’s misguided agenda?

Over 1,000 African migrants have taken over NYC’s City Hall today

95% are military aged men and many crossed the southern border to get here. pic.twitter.com/2POEJqFJBL

— Ashley St. Clair (@stclairashley) April 16, 2024

Let us first delve into the events that led to this demonstration. In recent years, New York City has seen an influx of African migrants seeking refuge and opportunity. While their arrival has been met with open arms and opportunities for integration, it seems that some have not fully embraced the values of their new home. Instead, they have chosen to highlight the issue of “anti-blackness,” painting a bleak picture of the city and its treatment of people of color.

But is this narrative truly reflective of the reality? Let’s take a step back and look at the bigger picture. New York City has long been hailed as a melting pot of diversity, with individuals from all walks of life coexisting and thriving.

BREAKING: HUNDREDS of illegal migrants are gathering outside of NY City Hall. Most of the crowd is military-age African men.

— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) April 16, 2024

The city has also implemented various initiatives and policies to promote inclusivity and combat discrimination. Yet, these African migrants have chosen to ignore these efforts and instead perpetuate a narrative of victimhood.

Furthermore, their chosen location for the protest, City Hall, holds a significant place in American history and serves as a symbol of democracy and progress. It is highly disrespectful to use such a revered space to spread false claims and instigate unrest. It begs the question, what is the real motivation behind these protests? Are they truly seeking to address genuine issues or simply using it as a platform to push their own agenda?

Moreover, these protests have garnered attention and support from many left-leaning politicians and activists. It is no secret that the left has long utilized identity politics and race-baiting as a means to divide and conquer. By aligning themselves with these protests, they are once again attempting to sow seeds of division and further their own political agenda. This is a dangerous game that only serves to harm the very communities they claim to advocate for.

As conservatives, we believe in personal responsibility and accountability. We acknowledge that while racism and discrimination do exist, it is not the sole factor responsible for the challenges faced by minority communities. It is time for these African migrants to take ownership of their own lives and strive for success, instead of playing the victim and blaming others for their perceived struggles.

In conclusion, the recent protests at New York City Hall by African migrants are nothing more than a display of false outrage and a means to advance the leftist agenda. As Americans, we must reject these tactics and instead work towards unity and progress for all. Let us not be fooled by the divisive rhetoric and instead focus on the true values of our nation – equality, liberty, and opportunity for all.

Confirmed: Researchers Reveal COVID mRNA Vaccines Contain Component that Suppresses Immune Response and Stimulates Cancer Growth

A comprehensive review by an international consortium of scientists has raised serious concerns about the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines’ safety profile.

Review articles are summaries of current research on a particular topic. They are also sometimes called literature reviews or secondary sources.

The review, “N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m1Ψ): Friend or foe of cancer?” published on Science Direct, delves into the potential implications of a vaccine ingredient—N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m1Ψ)—that may play a role in immune suppression and cancer proliferation.

m1Ψ was incorporated into Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to enhance its efficacy.

This component was introduced in the mRNA vaccine as a means to produce a significant amount of modified SARS-CoV-2 spike mRNA through in vitro transcription (IVT). This modification was crucial in the rapid development and deployment of the vaccine during the height of the pandemic.

However, the review article calls into question the long-term impacts of this modification, especially concerning the vaccine’s interaction with the body’s immune response and potential carcinogenic effects.

According to the review’s abstract, evidence suggests that while mRNA vaccines may have been “effective” in reducing severe disease outcomes, they might not provide sterilizing immunity, leaving individuals susceptible to recurring infections.

More critically, the review highlights that the inclusion of m1Ψ in mRNA vaccines appears to inhibit key immunological pathways, impairing the body’s early interferon signaling.

Interferon is a natural substance that helps the body’s immune system fight infection and other diseases, such as cancer.

This immunosuppression, intended to ensure efficient synthesis of the spike protein and minimize immune activation, may inadvertently foster an environment conducive to cancer development and metastasis.

In contrast, mRNA vaccines without this modification have shown the opposite effect.

“Based on this compelling evidence, we suggest that future clinical trials for cancers or infectious diseases should not use mRNA vaccines with a 100 % m1Ψ modification, but rather ones with the lower percentage of m1Ψ modification to avoid immune suppression,” the researchers said.

The COVID mRNA shots containing N1-methyl-pseudouridine SUPPRESS the immune system and STIMULATE cancer growth! https://t.co/CwKD14ZQc9 pic.twitter.com/W530bWiVcK

— Ned Nikolov, Ph.D. (@NikolovScience) April 16, 2024

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a recent report published by the American Cancer Society predicted that new cancer cases are expected to reach a new high in 2024. Over 2 million new cases of cancer are expected.

Cancer incidence has been rising for six of the most common cancers: breast, prostate, endometrial, pancreatic, kidney, and melanoma.

In 2022, Ohio attorney Thomas Renz presented DOD medical billing data from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) that exposed the disturbing truth about what is happening to the health of our service members since the rollout of the jab.

According to Renz, there has been an astronomical increase in several serious illnesses and disorder diagnoses in the US military since the rushed rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine – most concerning of which – cancer, which has seen a 3x increase.

“We have substantial data showing that we saw, for example, miscarriages increasing by 300% over the five-year average, almost. We saw almost 300% increase in cancer over the five-year average,” he said during the panel discussion in Washington, DC that was hosted by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI).

The Wall Street Journal reports that doctors are baffled by the sudden rise in cancer among young people.

The Journal writes:

“Cancer is hitting more young people in the U.S. and around the globe, baffling doctors. Diagnosis rates in the U.S. rose in 2019 to 107.8 cases per 100,000 people under 50, up 12.8% from 95.6 in 2000, federal data show. A study in BMJ Oncology last year reported a sharp global rise in cancers in people under 50, with the highest rates in North America, Australia and Western Europe.”

The word “vaccine” appears nowhere in the article. It mindlessly goes on to say that doctors are “racing to figure out what is making them sick, and how to identify young people who are at high risk. They suspect that changes in the way we live—less physical activity, more ultra-processed foods, new toxins—have raised the risk for younger generations.”

Maybe doctors should start focusing on the obvious.

Dr. Angus Dalgleish, a renowned oncologist practicing in the UK, recently wrote an open letter to the editor-in-chief of the medical journal The BMJ, urging the journal to “make valid informed consent for COVID vaccination a priority topic” because cancers and other diseases are rapidly progressing among “boosted” people.

“The reports of innate immune suppression after mRNA for several weeks would fit, as all these patients to date have melanoma or B cell based cancers, which are very susceptible to immune control – and that is before the reports of suppressor gene suppression by mRNA in laboratory experiments,” Dr. Dalgleish wrote.

The Gateway Pundit also reported the case of Dr. Michael Goldman, a Belgian pro-COVID vaccine doctor and a professor at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, specializing in internal medicine and immunology, where he suggested that the mRNA vaccine might worsen lymphoma cancer.

On September 22, 2021, Goldman was eager to receive the mRNA vaccine booster dose. As he was about to undergo chemotherapy that would leave him immunocompromised, he was concerned about not being protected enough from Covid-19.

Within a few days of being boosted, Goldman’s cancer symptoms — including night sweats, tiredness, and enlarged lymph nodes — worsened.

“Such cancer progression within three weeks is uncanny given what we know about the natural course of lymphoma, and Goldman needed steroids as soon as possible. Goldman began to suspect that the booster shot had somehow worsened his lymphoma, making his chance of survival for more than five years at only 30%,” Newsbreak reported.

The news outlet added, “Before getting boosted, the lymphoma was only limited to Goldman’s left armpit and neck. Coincidentally, Goldman received his first and second mRNA vaccine dose on the left arm. But Goldman received the booster on the right arm, and the lymphoma began appearing therein.”

Newsbreak author Shin Jie Yong, an MSC Biology student reported what he learned from a professor who told him about seven patients with stage IV tumors that were well-controlled for almost five years but suddenly progressed after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination.

Pro-vaccine advocate Michael Goldman, then 66 years old, was challenged whether or not to report the life-threatening adverse event he had after receiving a vaccine, per Shin. In the end, Goldman and his colleagues decided to publish their findings.

The case report suggested that vaccination with the Pfizer mRNA vaccine might induce rapid progression of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), a rare and highly aggressive cancer that affects the lymphatic system. It’s a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that occurs when T-cells, or white blood cells that fight infection, become cancerous and abnormal.

“To the best of our knowledge, this is the first observation suggesting that administration of a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine might induce AITL progression. Several arguments support this possibility. First, the dramatic speed and magnitude of the progression manifested on two 18F-FDG PET-CT performed 22 days apart. Such a rapid evolution would be highly unexpected in the natural course in the disease. Since mRNA vaccination is known to induce enlargement and hypermetabolic activity of draining lymph nodes, it is reasonable to postulate that it was the trigger of the changes observed,” said the experts.

Alan Dershowitz: Judge Merchan’s Gag Order and Refusal to Allow Trump to Leave the Courtroom Is Clearly Unconstitutional – Should be Immediately Challenged – Video

Sean Hannity with Alan Dershowitz and Gregg Garrett discuss the latest NYC lawfare case against President Trump.

Harvard Law School Professor and Constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz joined Sean Hannity on Tuesday along with Gregg Jarrett to discuss the current Alvin Bragg lawfare case in New York City against President Donald Trump.

Jury selection continued on Tuesday morning for Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s lawfare case against Trump related to ‘hush payments’ made to porn star Stormy Daniels. Last April Trump was hit with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records and conspiracy. The charges are unprecedented and illogical.

Alvin Bragg still hasn’t named the underlying felony after he twisted the law and somehow upgraded the misdemeanor charges that were past the statute of limitations – to felonies.

The fix is in. The judge overseeing the case is a far-left operative whose daughter has made a lucrative career helping Democrats ‘get Trump’ and is currently profiting from the case.

After refusing to recuse himself, Judge Juan Merchan on Monday threatened to put President Trump in jail if he doesn’t show up for trial.

On Monday, the Marxist tyrannical judge told President Trump that he could be thrown in prison if he did not show up each day in court. This is a clear constitutional violation.

Judge Merchan even warned President Trump about attending his son’s high school graduation. This is typical behavior from soulless Marxists as we are quickly learning in America today.

On Tuesday Alan Dershowtiz called on Trump’s attorneys to IMMEDIATELY file a motion and challenge Judge Merchan’s clearly unconstitutional court orders gagging President Trump and refusing to allow him to campaign or attend his son’s graduation.

How do these horrible, lawless leftists sleep at night?

Sean Hannity:  Professor, eight years later, a misdemeanor somehow evolves into a felony, and there are allegations that a judge is quite compromised in this case. I’m sure you have a lot to say.

Professor Dershowitz:  Well, look, I’m looking for a fair election. I’m an American voter who hasn’t decided at this point who to vote for and who to vote against. I just want a fair election. … And this case is depriving the American public. I’m speaking for the American public, not for the candidates. Depriving the American public of the right to have a fair election.

President Trump should be in Pennsylvania today. There is a statute that gives him the right to leave the court any day. But the statute says, In the absence of an objection by the people. In other words, the prosecution has a veto over the judge’s decision whether to allow him to leave the courtroom on any given day. That is unconstitutional, and this case ought to be challenged. There ought to be a motion made by Trump’s lawyers immediately under Section 340.50, in which the judge has the power to allow him to leave the courtroom and campaign, but only if the prosecution agrees to it, which is clearly unconstitutional.

The gag order is unconstitutional. You cannot prevent a defendant from attacking the witnesses, from attacking the judge’s daughter, if the judge’s daughter could be a basis for disqualification.

I agree with Greg. The American public is sick and tired of seeing the legal system weaponized. Whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, whether you’re a Trump supporter or a Biden supporter, you should be equally appalled. We have the right to decide who to vote for without the thumb, or in this case, the elbow of the criminal justice system led by Democrats, in this case, the district attorney who campaigned on a promise to get Trump, essentially. We have a right not to have that election interference. Do you believe the judge- This case is paradigmatic election interference.

Via Midnight Rider.

Ingrassia: Mike Johnson Must Exhibit Stronger Leadership Over The House As President Trump Endures Political Persecution

This week, President Trump faces a political prosecution in New York State, forcing him into the courtroom and off the campaign trail.  Every single day President Trump, who now leads in most state polls as the frontrunner for the 2024 general election, is hamstrung from campaigning is another day Biden and his regime apparatchiks get an unfair advantage.  The strategy of what President Trump’s enemies are doing is readily on display: Biden has deliberately rigged the playing field to give his team, which languishes in countless self-inflicted crises, every opportunity it could get to make up lost ground.

The Biden Regime, of course, already has allies in the administrative (or deep) state, the mainstream media, Big Tech, the judicial system, and hundreds of lawmakers working on both sides of the aisle that carry out the marching orders of the Uniparty with abandon. Thus, to achieve yet another advantage, in abusing the levers of power to attack his foremost political opponent, would seem almost wantonly gratuitous.

And yet, Biden and his henchmen get away with such brazen abuses of power time and again.  In large part, this is because they have internalized a timeless lesson of politics: when you have power, use it to benefit friends and punish enemies.  This, Biden and the Uniparty that backs him does with impunity.

Many Republicans remain controlled opposition.  Many more are simply kowtowed into staying silent to carry out the policies of the regnant political class in Washington DC – open borders, corrupted elections, millions of dollars of aid wasted on Ukraine, Israel, and China – all of which harm hundreds of millions of Americans.

Indeed, many Americans have died, literally, as a result of the Biden Regime’s suicidal policies.  The border policy, being perhaps the most destructive, has unleashed upwards of 7.2 million illegals upon the homeland, a catastrophe that will permanently rupture the cultural and economic fabric of this country, save mass deportations of a historic scale, to rectify the crisis.  Many Americans have been killed by illegal aliens – either the victims of homicide from dangerous gangs like MS-13, or casualties of a drunk driver – who may or may not have a license depending on how sadistic the Governor of the state in which the DUI-caused homicide occurred is. (The latter issue memorably achieved national prominence in President Trump’s first term when he personally highlighted the tragic stories of “Angel Moms” at rallies and other public events, an advocacy group composed of mothers and relatives of Americans dedicated to raising awareness of the now unmanageable illegal alien crisis.)

Countless other Americans have suffered from the devastating indirect effects of an open border.  Upwards of a quarter million Americans have died from Fentanyl overdoses since 2018.  Fentanyl is a highly lethal Schedule II controlled substance that is widely accessible on the black market.  Fentanyl dealers obtain the lethal drug from countries like Mexico and China, two of the most prominent beneficiaries of our reckless, open border policies — and two of our greatest adversaries.

And yet, as the United States is being driven to the ground by open borders policies that shake every aspect of our society – culturally, economically, linguistically – Republican lawmakers largely remain indifferent to or downright afraid of challenging the status quo.

Perhaps no one better embodies this pitiful state of affairs than current House Speaker Mike Johnson, who was disgraced former Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s replacement.  McCarthy, who served as Speaker for just eight months, had arguably the most turbulent and ineffective Speakership in all of American history.  His Speakership was contested from the moment he announced his candidacy for the office, having nearly gone down in defeat before it began — but for a highly contested, multi-day vote last January that culminated in an eleventh hour switch on the part of some holdouts, landing the Californian the vaunted position on the fifteenth ballot.  That drawn out vote nevertheless set the tone for the next eight months, a period marred by unkept promises and myriad disappointments, as McCarthy repeatedly failed to make good on several key promises – such as the disclosure of exonerating J6 footage – that resulted in the motion to vacate his chair, initiated by Congressman Gaetz, putting the nail in the coffin to his political career.

Johnson, who stepped into McCarthy’s shoes as the next House Speaker, had a perfect model of what not to do in that office.  One was to leave in play the omnibus spending bills that funded agencies like the FBI and IRS, which have now been weaponized against political dissidents of the Biden Regime — and stop giving more aid to faraway places like the Ukraine and Middle East, which, in peacetime, offer few if any geopolitical benefits at all to the United States.

In deranged, war-spiraling times like ours — defined by a weaponized DOJ, crumbling infrastructure, and wide-open borders – it gives every reason on earth to shift our priorities inward, refocusing attention on cleaning up our own house before searching abroad for monsters to destroy. Thus, continuation of those reckless policies can only be chalked up to a ruling class-wide suicide pact for the country. Short of that explanation, pursuing those same failed policies is simply inexplicable.

And yet, the current Speaker still fails to grasp the magnitude of these calamities.  On his recent visit to Mar-a-Lago, he only begrudgingly spoke of systemic voter fraud – all byproducts of the Biden Regime – when directly confronted with the issue by none other than President Trump himself, who unsurprisingly minced no words in discussing the lingering problem.

Ditto also the FISA court issue – and the reauthorization and expansion of our spying laws in general. Of course, these illegitimate “courts” should not be given another penny, given the appalling rights violations they have committed, over decades, against the American public. The fact that FISA court-spending, rather than, say, securing the border or holding those rogue district attorneys presently waging lawfare against President Trump and his supporters accountable, was an important agenda item for Johnson, again, exemplifies a rank failure of leadership of the highest possible order.

Johnson has a major crisis on his hands – and the more strident members of his caucus, like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie, detect his weakness.  That is why they recently proposed a second motion to vacate the Speaker’s Chair – in large part owing to Johnson’s own failures to display strength, rather than lead from behind, a plague that affected every single one of his recent Republican predecessors.  One would think, given just how bad the examples of his predecessors were, that Johnson would have every incentive to take a dramatic course correction – for he has at his immediate disposal the playbook of exactly what not to do.

And yet, alas, Johnson appears afflicted by that same curse – incredulously reverting to the tired policies that made McCarthy, and before him, Paul Ryan and John Boehner, so woefully unpopular — including continuation of the omnibus bills to avoid a government shutdown, which many conservatives would more than welcome – particularly among the grassroots and MAGA base of the party.

Of all the challenges Johnson currently faces, however, perhaps none is more pressing — and sure to determine Johnson’s political fate — than his ability to retain his quickly dwindling House majority through the November presidential election.  If Johnson somehow loses his majority, a problem that becomes more urgent by the day with the slew of Republicans who have recently announced early retirements, like Mike Gallagher, he will be toast.

The Gallagher example is particularly illustrative: Gallagher announced that he will be stepping down later this month, adding to a mounting list of House departures.  This vacancy will now last through November’s election, because Gallagher decided to hold off retirement until after Wisconsin Election Law’s special election deadline.  The deadline set under Wisconsin law “requires a special election to fill a vacancy if it occurs before the first Tuesday in April of an election year.”  Johnson had the ability, as House Speaker, to exert political pressure on Gallagher to get him to step down early, before the deadline, allowing for a special election that could have potentially stopped the bloodletting – allowing a Republican to replace Gallagher, padding their razor thin majority from getting more slim.  Instead, he fumbled and remained silent – or simply failed to come up with a counter-strategy to force Gallagher’s early leave, for reasons unbeknownst to the public.  Johnson had a prime opportunity to expose Gallagher in his tracks — and yet he dropped the ball. Now the clock has run out, and Johnson will have to deal with an even slimmer House majority as a result of his inaction.

Even if, as conventional wisdom in DC would hold, that Johnson or those groups who exert pressure on him are being artificially handcuffed by deterrents, including potentially blackmail, that still is no excuse for inaction.  If it is scandal Johnson fears, at this point most of the public has been desensitized to it. The country is on life support.  The greatest scandal that Congressional Republicans could thus commit at this late hour is not doing enough to salvage their majority, back President Trump, and do everything they can to make his pathway back to the Oval Office all the more easy in November.

Despite the fecklessness he has thus far exhibited, Speaker Johnson, for better or worse, remains in a powerful office – third in line to the presidency.  He is the most powerful elected Republican officeholder in the country.  He has political capital – and a bully pulpit to boot – to exert strong pressures on his party to do more on behalf of the broader MAGA movement.

An issue that really should be front and center for him, which Johnson could easily advocate for, is subpoenaing Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Fani Willis, and other rogue prosecutors, district attorneys, and attorneys general throughout the country, who have weaponized the Department of Justice to try to sabotage the 2024 race and imperil the American people in the process.  Even easier: encourage the Republicans that have still not endorsed President Trump to do so, or face sanctions.

The Constitution of this country hangs by a thread; our rights and liberties are being viciously attacked by a Regime and its various apparatchiks that seek to put asunder what remnants of the Founding Fathers’ original handiwork still exists, for all time.

The stakes are in fact that high.  Yet, Johnson continues to waffle and waver.  Disclosure of the remaining J6 tapes should not even be a point of discussion – it should have been done already without a second thought.

Nor should the gratuitous spending on Eastern European and Middle Eastern conflicts, all products of the Military Industrial Complex, operating at the behest of the Biden Regime, and paid for by the American taxpayer.  Johnson and his colleagues in leadership positions in the House, particularly those on the House Judiciary Committee, must realize that governing involves both hard and soft powers – official powers are offset, more today than ever, by unofficial ones, including shaping narratives and mobilizing public opinions through various media.

That Johnson does not go on Fox News – or any media outlet – day in and day out, encouraging his colleagues to join him in filing ethics complaints, drafting legal motions in pursuit of a counter-lawfare strategy, and, indeed, waging all-out lawfare themselves on the Biden Regime’s weaponized Department of (in)Justice is an affront to every law-abiding American so despondent over the destruction of the rule of law happening in real time.

All it requires is some collective action on part of Congressional leadership. Johnson, being House Speaker, is in prime position to take the lead.

As I have said from the beginning, so much of the Left’s egregious, unprecedented, and shameless abuse of our justice system to persecute their political opponents is the result of Republican incompetence.  No cosmic law exists in the universe that dictates Republicans not take action, or at the bare minimum, at least speak publicly about what needs to be done in order to mitigate the excesses of a rogue and tyrannical government that has persecuted, so far with impunity, everyone from the leading candidate to be the next president, all the way down to Bible-reading grandmas who just so happened to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time, on January 6th, 2021.

The corruption of the Biden Regime must be put to an end. There is no second option.  Time is of the essence.  President Trump has his hands tied with groundless lawsuit after lawsuit.  Johnson, as the most powerful Republican officeholder in the United States, has a prerogative — constitutionally and morally — to take dramatic actions to keep his slim House majority, mitigate the weaponized justice system’s assaults, and pave the way for President Trump’s reelection come November.

That should be his chief priority, and he should work around the clock from now until at least November to do everything possible to make that happen.

So far, the man some pundits used to jokingly refer to as “MAGA Mike” has not displayed a capacity to do what is necessary. If that is truly the case, the second motion should indeed be exercised. And Johnson, like his three Republican predecessors, must be ousted for someone more worthy of the office, willing to do the critical job to offset the diabolical programs of Biden, before it really is too late.

“Teen” Opens Fire During Massive Brawl Involving Nearly 50 Teens in Gun Control Paradise California, Resulting in One Fatality (VIDEO)

A teenage boy was killed in a shooting that took place during a massive brawl involving nearly 50 teens.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) confirmed the fatal shooting occurred just before 4 p.m.

“Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are responding to the 10800 block of Western Avenue, in the unincorporated city of Los Angeles regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 3:49 p.m.,” LASPD said in a statement.

As deputies arrived in response to the chaos, they found the victim, a teenage male, lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds.

Immediate efforts were made to save his life, and he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Despite these efforts, the LASD later confirmed that the young victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical facility.

Prior to the shooting, multiple fights had reportedly broken out among the large group of juveniles.

A video capturing the violent scene has since gone viral on social media platforms, showing the moment the suspect opened fire after apparently being attacked by several individuals.

The LASD has revealed that two individuals were detained at the scene, although it remains unconfirmed if they are also teenagers.

In California, minors are generally prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.

Mayorkas Must Be Held Accountable at His Senate Trial

Mayorkas Must Be Held Accountable at His Senate Trial

Tabling the DHS secretary’s impeachment is an insult to the American people.

Credit: Iev radin

The House managers have officially delivered the letters of impeachment for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to the Senate. For weeks, I have been calling for the Senate to conduct a full and fair trial. Now is the time for every Senator to go on the record.

Do you think Mayorkas has done a good job at the border? Has Mayorkas fulfilled the oath he swore before this body to protect and defend our country against all threats, foreign and domestic? Is our border secure?

The answer is simple. Mayorkas has intentionally failed to do his job. Now, Senator Schumer and the globalist Democrats have the opportunity to conduct a trial before the entire Senate and the public.

Unfortunately, that’s not how this is going to play out. Democrats are going to try to table—or dismiss—the articles of impeachment, which has never been done in the history of the Senate. They’re going to attempt to sweep the border crisis that President Biden has created under the rug. Every single House Democrat voted to save Mayorkas’ job. They endorsed our wide-open borders that have allowed terrorists, drug traffickers, and murderers into our country.

Democrats are lying to themselves and risking the lives of every American. Senator Schumer and the Democrats can’t say they want to fix our border while voting to save Mayorkas’ job. Mayorkas has been derelict in his duty to secure the border in the three years he has been in the job.

Our border is the least secure it has ever been; in fact, it’s almost nonexistent. Our Border Patrol agents are so overwhelmed, and receive such little support from the Biden administration to enforce our laws, that they have been forced to release millions of illegal immigrants into the U.S. To make matters worse, those who are released on parole are given work permits. The Biden administration is more concerned with taking care of illegal aliens than it is about protecting American citizens. We might as well start mailing every criminal, drug trafficker, and terrorist an open invitation to cross our borders.

I have spoken numerous times on the Senate floor to highlight stories of Americans who have died at the hands of illegal aliens. Their tragic deaths are a direct result of Secretary Mayorkas’ inaction. Mayorkas and Joe Biden have blood on their hands. The most important responsibility of any sovereign nation is the safety of its citizens.

Yet the Department of Homeland Security just announced they plan on sending another $300 million dollars to communities receiving illegal aliens from this border crisis. The top priority of this administration is to let as many people in as quickly as possible, regardless of how many American lives are lost in the process.

The number of people crossing into the U.S. who are on the terrorist watchlist is unprecedented. Just last week, it was reported that an Afghan on the FBI terror watchlist has been in the U.S. for almost a year. He is a member of a U.S. designated terrorist group responsible for the deaths of at least nine American soldiers and civilians in Afghanistan. ICE arrested him in San Antonio just this past February. Unfortunately, this known terrorist has been released on bond and is now roaming our neighborhoods.

It isn’t just terrorists we have to worry about. Fentanyl flows freely across our borders, and it has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. Law enforcement officers in Alabama tell me time and again how their officers must wear heavy equipment and carry Narcan spray to protect themselves from the fentanyl that is pouring into our communities.

Despite the critical need to secure our borders and discourage illegal immigration, Mayorkas has been traveling the world, lecturing other countries about their national security, while his refusal to enforce U.S. laws has exposed his own country to invasion. It’s embarrassing.

In February, he traveled to Austria to speak with Chinese officials about counter-narcotic efforts. Did he discuss with them the flood of Chinese illegal immigrants coming to the U.S. through the southwest border? 22,000 Chinese nationals have been arrested by border patrol agents at the southwestern border since October of last year.

Most of these individuals are single adult males of military age. Yet the media tries to act as if all these people crossing the border are innocent women and children. Some of them are, but most are not. This invasion is more than a border crisis. It’s a national security crisis. And yet, I seriously doubt Mayorkas even brought that up in his meeting with Chinese officials.

In February, he was in Germany for the Munich Security Conference. The Munich Security Conference is the largest international security meeting in the world. Mayorkas was there, giving speeches on strengthening global security and partnerships. Meanwhile, the border he is responsible for is wide open.

The secretary’s priority should be here—securing our borders and protecting our citizens. President Biden has made the U.S. a joke on the world stage. Under this administration, nearly 10 million people have illegally invaded our country. Every state is now a border state.

This is not a gray area. Secretary Mayorkas has intentionally failed to do his job. It is high time that the Senate take action.

To my Democratic colleagues: Have you read the heartbreaking stories of innocent Americans who have been murdered by illegal aliens? Are you concerned about the safety of your spouses, children, nieces or nephews? Does it worry you that hundreds of terrorists are flooding into our country? Do you know someone who has died of fentanyl, which was trafficked into our country by cartels?

This isn’t about politics. Our national security and our country’s future is at stake here. Americans deserve to know the truth about how Secretary Mayorkas has intentionally failed to secure the border.

I will be voting to hold Mayorkas accountable.

An Indian Precedent for American Upper Middle Class Radicalism

An Indian Precedent for American Upper Middle Class Radicalism

Americans should read more about the Naxalite movement. There are echoes of the past in current American left-wing activism.

A man accused of firebombing an anti-abortion lobby group office last year in Madison, Wisconsin pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison. A PhD biochemist by profession and researcher at U-Madison, Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury apparently started the pro-abortion group “Jane’s Revenge” and used his connections and grant money to gather incendiary chemicals to create the device he used to firebomb the office. He has also, according to reports, been uncooperative with the federal agents, and has been speaking to Antifa and “Stop Cop City” comrades in prison. He was indicted for RICO violations, terrorism, and money-laundering charges. Before the bombing, he threatened that “if abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.” He was identified from a half eaten burrito at the terror scene, and was nabbed while trying to flee the country for Latin America.

It is an interesting case with several layers. Even a man who has a PhD in biochemistry apparently isn’t wise enough to not throw a half-eaten saliva-covered burrito at the crime scene. Being intelligent isn’t the same as being wise or prudent; a data point in the case-study against the “cult of expertise” that runs in this country. Universities also should be far more strict about whom they let in. The job of academia is not to allow just about everyone to aim for the upper echelons of society, but to promote merit towards the betterment of the nation. One can make the case of more, not less gate-keeping in higher-education.

But the arrest of this man also provides a historical lens to look at a very strange form of insurgency that is now haunting America. The American understanding of left-wing radicalism is steeped in its formative years in the 1930s, the labor unions, and the Cold War against the USSR. Leninism is what most Americans think of when they imagine left-wing radicalism. Only in recent years have intellectuals and scholars started to talk more about Antonio Gramsci and “the long march through the institutions.”

But there is a precedent in what we are seeing in America now. The early 1970s Naxalite movement in India was fundamentally decentralized; compared to other grassroots peasant or worker led communist movements across Europe and Asia, it was dominated by upper-middle class college students. The core of the movement was Calcutta University, one of the oldest and most prestigious Indian schools, but the movement had different rhetoric and local policies depending on where it was operating. Similar to the modern iteration of Antifa, it wasn’t centralized; it was based in different states; it never had a consolidated information center or coordinated action plan, it combined different splintered groups; it had medical, assault, and scouting groups; and it organized via hand-to-hand communications across state lines.

Most importantly, it was heavily upper-middle class, with students often using their parents or sympathetic university professors for bail money, sometimes aided by lenient local attorneys and laws. Although the movement had broad shared ideological commitments about “class enemies,” it never had a party line, and therefore most terrorist actions were against local businesses, mom-and-pop stores, small landlords, and the hapless homeguards and beat cops walking the roads at night.

But it showed what impotent and repressed middle-class bloodlust against both upper and lower class of society is, and how deadly it can be. The Naxalites never truly threatened the existence of the republic of India, nor did they much harm the rich in the 1970s India, who could afford private security and militias. But it made the life of those commoners who pay tax expecting to be protected by the state an absolute hell.

The moment it appeared that Beijing was even rhetorically sympathetic to a Maoist insurgency within India, the state cracked down with a ferocity that became a byword of counterinsurgency studies. Hundreds of diehard students simply disappeared without a trace. But most of the normies, mellowed out after a thorough beating (and after their parents were bankrupted paying bail funds). The public opinion shifted rapidly against the needless violence of the Naxalite groups against individuals they considered to be “class enemies.” As often is the lesson of history, most pretend revolutionaries don’t survive a dedicated reaction. Violence goes both ways.

The most haunting paragraph from one of the greatest series of novels written about that era, the Bengali polymath and author Samaresh Majumdar’s “Animesh Quartet,” shows a police officer lamenting to another that the items found during the raid in a commune were some revolutionary literature and a whole bunch of unused condoms. The Naxalites were a weird mix of wasted upper-middle-class students who fancied themselves Che Guevaras in a movement that was itself a weird mix of the Parisian 1968ers and the Maoist Red Guards.

For the uninitiated, Roychowdhury is an Indian and Bengali surname denoting “landlord,” an acquired title that originates from the Mughal era and was continued by the British. Somewhere in the past, this chap’s forefathers formed the backbones of two empires. Like most modern descendants of older elites, this man, born with perhaps above average intelligence, decided to ruin his above average life for momentary nihilism in the cause of a rudderless movement dedicated to a heady mix of hedonism, impotent rage, and violence. As a philosopher of our time once noted, “Many such cases. Sad!”

Trump Begins the High-Wire Act

Trump Begins the High-Wire Act

The former president’s fight extends beyond the courtroom.

The weakest legal case against former President Donald Trump may now be the most important one. It is the first case against Trump to go to trial. It is the first to offer near-daily shots of the presumptive Republican nominee inside a courtroom. It offers the best chance of appending “convicted felon” to Trump’s name, if not putting him in a jail cell, before the election.

Trump’s hush-money trial begins as President Joe Biden appears to have begun to close the gap in their rematch. The latest New York Times/Siena College poll has them virtually tied, with Trump clinging to a 1-point lead. The former president is just 0.2 points ahead of the incumbent in the national RealClearPolitics polling average.

The American people have seen courtroom dramas on this scale before. O.J. Simpson’s death this month reminded the public of a divisive trial that was daytime viewing for millions for months. More recently, there was the legal battle between actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

Voters are at this point no strangers to Trump trials specifically. No civil judgment against Trump or his businesses has dented his poll numbers. Among Republicans, the numerous indictments across multiple jurisdictions improved those numbers to the point where he went from the odds-on favorite to win the GOP nomination for the third time to holding an insurmountable lead.

Perhaps more surprisingly, Trump has remained competitive in the general election throughout all the indictments and suits. He has led Biden more often, both nationally and in the top seven battleground states, than at any point in 2020. Overall, Trump’s numbers are better than they have been since he first began running for president nearly nine years ago.

Despite Jan. 6, two impeachments, the 2020 election, the Russia investigation, and the various criminal cases, Trump has at least as good of a chance of returning to the White House as he does of becoming a convicted felon.

One big question is whether it is possible for him to do both. The public polling and some of the primary exit polls suggest there are voters who currently support Trump who will not vote for a convicted felon. These numbers may not only be sufficient to cost Trump the election; they may transform the current competitive race into a more lopsided affair in the Democrats’ favor.

If that is true, then all it takes is for a single Democratic prosecutor in a Democratic jurisdiction with a Democratic-leaning jury pool to find Trump guilty of something—say, one count out of dozens—and it’s game over. For this reason, some of us argued Trump would be an extraordinarily risky general election nominee for the GOP.

It’s a risk Republicans nevertheless decided they wanted to take.

This is in no small part because the legal pile-on against Trump looks manifestly unfair to so many voters who already back him or are still open to doing so.

The George Soros–connected Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg ran on going after Trump. He stretched the law to get around the statute of limitations and to turn misdemeanors into felonies. He stacked charges to get 34 felony counts out of a single incident. And he is basing much of his case on the word of Michael Cohen, the former Trump legal fixer whose words and deeds have already landed him in prison.

It is therefore possible that many people who tell pollsters they wouldn’t vote for a convicted felon would not actually be dissuaded from pulling the lever for Trump if the ex-president’s prosecution was viewed as a partisan charade.

Not everyone sees it this way, of course. There are many people who think Trump has played it fast and loose with his businesses, women, and his election claims for long enough that he deserves some consequences even if many of the legal cases against him are dubious in some particulars.

It’s a question of justice delayed versus justice denied.

Yet how many of these hold-Trump-accountable voters are not already in Biden’s camp? And how many find Biden’s record so wanting that they might once again look past a seedy payment to a porn star? Will that payment be seen as a bigger example of “election interference” than Bragg’s prosecution of a leading presidential candidate during an election year?

The answers to these questions will likely decide who wins in November.

If Israel responds, Iran threatens ‘severe, extensive and painful’ response – IRANIANS ISSUE NEW THREAT

Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi.

Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, reiterated a major threat against Israel, stating that any action against the country’s interests will receive a severe response. The information was published by the Iranian Republican News Agency ISNA, on Tuesday, April16.

Raisi’s threat comes after the Israeli Army stated that it will respond to Iran’s attacks ‘with actions, not words,’ as earlier reported by TGP.

According to ISNA, the Iranian President emphasized the need to take deterrent measures against the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He also criticized the support of some Western countries for Israel.

Raisi also stated that Iran’s attack on Israel falls within its legitimate right to self-defense and in response to Israeli attacks on its interests, especially the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

The president further said that his country considers ‘peace and stability’ in the region essential for Iranian national security, emphasizing that Iran would not hesitate to make any effort to restore peace and stability in the region.

The attack was not confirmed by Israel, although representatives from Iran and Syria accused the Israeli government of the attack.

Israel’s Response

On Monday, 15, Israel’s War Cabinet decided to respond to the Iranian attack. The Israeli government is considering a retaliation to ‘hurt’ Iran without reaching the point of provoking a regional war.

According to local press, Benjamin Netanyahu’s government will try a military action coordinated with the United States. However, Washington has already stated it would not participate in any potential attack on Iran.”
