A non-profit in San Francisco that provides services to homeless people has been accused of fraud to the tune of a cool $100,000. They also face accusations of nepotism.

As many people have pointed out, an entire industry has bloomed in San Francisco around the homeless population and no one wants to end homelessness as a result, because too many people are making extremely good money off the problem.

As far as fraud goes, $100,000 is kind of small potatoes when you consider the fact that the city wastes hundreds of millions of dollars on this issue.

San Francisco nonprofit running homeless shelter accused of $100K fraud, nepotism

A San Francisco-based nonprofit that provides services to the homeless has been suspended amid allegations of fraud and nepotism, officials announced Monday.

City Attorney David Chiu said he initiated debarment proceedings against the Providence Foundation of San Francisco. Chiu also suspended the organization from receiving new city contracts or grants, effective immediately.

“This nonprofit took over $100,000 of public money meant to benefit people experiencing homelessness. That cannot be tolerated,” Chiu said in a statement. “My office’s work to root out bad actors who take advantage of our public resources continues. We will find out about your misdeeds, cut off your funding, and hold you accountable.”

Providence has received at least $105,000 from the city based on what the city attorney describes as “blatantly fraudulent” invoices. The invoices stem from renovation work at the Oasis Hotel on Franklin Street, which the group operates as a shelter for families experiencing homelessness.

Officials said work was supposed to include repainting the exterior and removing deadbolt locks at the hotel, but the work was not performed.

San Francisco spends hundreds of millions of dollars every year on homelessness contractors like these. Whenever the government is giving away that kind of money, fraud is inevitable. Frankly, the $100,000 this group bilked the city is petty cash in the overall scope of the homeless industrial complex in San Francisco. All of these people and groups have a vested interest in having this problem continue.

The prosecutor from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office leading questioning of adult film actress Stormy Daniels in former President Trump’s unprecedented criminal trial donated to President Biden’s campaign in 2020 and a number of other Democratic politicians and organizations over the years, Fox News Digital has learned.

Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger questioned Daniels Tuesday as she testified as part of former President Trump’s unprecedented criminal trial.

Hoffinger’s donations to Biden came during the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, Federal Election Commission records show.

Hoffinger donated $500 to Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020 — a donation of $250 in February 2020 and another donation of $250 in March 2020.

Hoffinger also donated more than $900 to ActBlue during the 2020 cycle. ActBlue is an online fundraising platform for Democratic candidates, progressive organizations, and nonprofits.

Hoffinger also donated to a number of other Democratic congressional campaigns in 2020 and 2018. Hoffinger was hired by Bragg’s office in 2022, after the political contributions were made.

Alvin Bragg’s top prosecutor Matthew Colangelo – a top DOJ official that Joe Biden sent to New York in 2022 to take down Trump – was paid by the DNC for ‘political consulting.’

Matthew Colangelo previously worked in the Justice Department (Biden appointee) and is a lifelong left-wing activist.

It has now been revealed that Colangelo was paid $12,000 by the DNC in 2018.

“According to Federal Election Commission records reviewed by Fox News Digital, DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee paid Colangelo twice on Jan. 31, 2018. Colangelo was given two payments of $6,000, for a total of $12,000.” Fox News reported.

From Joe Biden inviting transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to speak with him at the White House to inviting other transgender influencers who took off their shirts on the White House lawn, the Biden administration has ensured that nation’s capital would become a hotbed of this increasing degeneracy.

And now, members of the infamous show “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” have disgraced the Washington Mall and the Lincoln Memorial by promoting the show and parading themselves in patriotic-themed, provocative outfits across these national landmarks.

Per The Hill, eight alumni of “Drag Race” took to the Washington Mall on Monday to both promote the ninth-season of the show and pose for pictures.

One of the drag queens, Angeria Paris VanMichaels, told The Hill, “It feels like progress. … In this moment, I feel very proud of my country and just the fact that we’re able to do stuff like this now. It kind of shows how far we are coming as a country — slowly but surely, we get there.”

More specifically, in addition to promoting the show, the drag queens were there to persuade people to vote in the upcoming election — for Biden, that is.

As The Hill noted, the LGBT community was instrumental in clinching Biden’s victory back in 2020.

Local news station WUSA-TV also reported on the drag queen’s underlying intentions regarding their little display, noting drag queen Shannel posted a video to Instagram encouraging people to vote, with the caption “Let your voice be heard VOTE.VOTE.VOTE.”

Now, was the drag queens’ little publicity stunt directly sponsored by the Biden administration?

It appeared not. Though these drag queens would most likely be full-throated Biden supporters, the impetus for the whole endeavor seemed to come from the makers of the show and not the White House.

However, The Hill reported, the drag queens met with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at a “popular gay bar” following their jaunt about Washington.

Is this any surprise?

After all, career liberal Nancy Pelosi once gladly appeared on this execrable show, and Biden invited a “non-binary” drag queen who publicly advocated for defunding the police to the White House to witness him signing the “Respect for Marriage” Act in 2022, WPDE-TV reported at the time.

Biden has devoted almost his entire presidency to prompting far-left causes that would have made our forebears recoil in disgust.

Imagine what Abraham Lincoln would have said had he seen these drag queens parading around the nation’s Capitol, within sight of his own monument.

Even a mere ten years ago, such a display would have been unthinkable to any sitting president, Democrat or Republican.

Only 20 or so years ago, committed liberals like Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton publicly opposed gay marriage.

How, in such a short span of time, did men dressing like female strippers at our most important national monuments become something many people would consider “normal”?

This display from these drag queens, then, was more than an off-putting publicity stunt for a depraved reality show.

It was a sobering, and disturbing, representation of the moral decline of our nation.

What a difference a couple of decades can make.

A terrible, disheartening, difference, but a difference nonetheless.

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has reported a young boy has died due to cardiac arrest after receiving the company’s experimental gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

A Pfizer spokesperson told Reuters in an exclusive email, “A fatal serious adverse event was reported as cardiac arrest for a participant in the Phase 2 DAYLIGHT study.”

Pfizer’s gene therapy trial is currently testing children two to three-year-olds who have Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) “is caused by a genetic problem in producing dystrophin, a protein that protects muscle fibers from breaking down when exposed to enzymes.”

Per Reuters:

A young patient died due to cardiac arrest after receiving Pfizer’s gene therapy being tested in a mid-stage trial for a muscle-wasting disorder called Duchenne muscular dystrophy(DMD), the drugmaker told Reuters on Tuesday.

“A fatal serious adverse event was reported as cardiac arrest for a participant in the Phase 2 DAYLIGHT study,” a company spokesperson told Reuters in an emailed response.

The trial is testing boys 2 to three years of age with DMD, a genetic muscle wasting disorder in which most patients lack the protein dystrophin which keeps muscles intact. The disorder affects an estimated one-in-3,500 male births worldwide.

“The patient received the investigational gene therapy, fordadistrogene movaparvovec, in early 2023,” as per a statement from a community letter attributed to the drugmaker’s DMD gene therapy team and posted by a nonprofit advocacy group.

Pfizer announced they are currently reviewing the patient’s data to understand what caused the boy to suffer an adverse event.

A state judge in New York has shot down a pro-abortion ballot measure just ahead of the November election, dealing a blow to Democrats who hoped to use the initiative as a top campaign issue this fall.

A judge in Livingston County ruled on Tuesday that Democratic legislators did not follow the constitutionally required steps to place the measure on the ballot, according to the New York Post.

State Supreme Court Justice Daniel Doyle found that they approved the measure before obtaining a legal opinion from state Attorney General Letitia James’ office, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reported.

New York already has some of the strongest protections for abortion and abortionists in the country, yet Democrats in the Empire State have been trying to make abortion a central issue in this year’s election with absurd claims that it is endangered in a deep-blue state that is fully controlled by Democrats.

The Democratic Party hopes to use the initiative to boost voter turnout.

“Our decades-long fight to protect equality and reproductive freedom will not be thrown off track by one extremist judge and I look forward to casting my ballot for the Equal Rights Amendment in November,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a statement.

Critics of the ballot measure said the language is an attack on parental rights because it would make it illegal to deny a minor’s request for an abortion — or other “health” services, such as “transgender” procedures.

The measure would ask New York voters if they support adding language to the state constitution saying that people cannot be denied rights based on their “ethnicity, national origin, age, and disability” or “sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.”

Detractors said that not only would parents be prohibited from having a say in abortions for their children, but the measure also would force schools to adopt the “transgender” agenda.

“Schools would be required to permit biological males to compete on girls’ sports teams if voters approve this amendment,” the Coalition to Protect Kids said in a statement last month, according to the Post.

Critics blasted the measure as “the Parent Replacement Act,” with the Coalition to Protect Kids saying it “opens the floodgates” for government interference in families.

“This ballot initiative is written so broadly and so poorly that it could cause irreparable harm to children and families,” said Greg Garvey, New York executive director of the coalition.

Opponents — including Republican Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes of Livingston County — went to court to prevent the measure from being placed on the ballot.

Byrnes told the Post she was pleased with the judge’s decision to block the measure.

“While the state is controlled by one party, our constitution and our laws must be honored. I am pleased with Justice Doyle’s decision which upholds the plain meaning and integrity of the constitution of our state,” she said.

A recent poll found that a supermajority of American voters oppose abortions after the third month of pregnancy, but the New York ballot measure would go against that sentiment by approving unrestricted abortion.

New York state law currently guarantees a right to abortion up to 24 weeks — or six months — and also protects abortion until birth if the fetus is unviable or if the mother’s life is endangered by the pregnancy.

Shockingly, the law includes “mental health” as a reason for abortion up until birth.

Naturally, Democrats plan to appeal the judge’s ruling, so this measure might yet end up on the ballot.

But it all just goes to show how Democrats use abortion as a political wedge even when the “right” they claim to be worried about isn’t in danger in the least bit.

An estimated 11 million illegal aliens – mainly military-age males – have entered the US on Joe Biden’s open border invitation.

Hundreds of thousands of illegals are pouring over the border every month.

Biden slipped and admitted the influx of illegals = new Democrat voters.

The world is an increasingly conflicted place, with the geopolitical relations between East and West as tensioned as they’ve ever been in decades.

In this dangerous panorama, a relentless game of cyber attacks and counterattacks seems to be afoot.

At this point, it surfaces that the Chinese regime is now suspected to have hacked the British Ministry of Defense.

MPs were briefed today of the massive data breach involving the MoD, targeting its service personnel.

Sky News reported:

“The government will not name the country involved, but Sky News understands this to be China. The Chinese state is to be accused of two or three attempts at hacking MoD employees – including personnel.”

The cyberattack targeted a payroll system holding data of current service personnel and some veterans. Names and bank details may have been exposed.

“China’s foreign ministry said it ‘firmly opposes and fights all forms of cyber attacks’ and ‘rejects the use of this issue politically to smear other countries’.

Tobias Ellwood, a Conservative MP and former soldier, told Sky News that China ‘was probably looking at the financially vulnerable with a view that they may be coerced in exchange for cash’.”

The affected contractor system is not connected to the main MoD computer systems.

The British MoD is assessing the scale of the hack.

Two months ago, China’s ‘state-affiliated actors’ were also blamed by the UK government for two “malicious” cyberattack campaigns.

“Making a speech in the Commons in March, Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden revealed the two previous incidents involved an attack on the Electoral Commission – responsible for overseeing elections and political finance – in 2021, and targeted attacks against China-sceptic MPs.

[…] Sir Iain Duncan Smith, a Conservative MP and former soldier who has been sanctioned by China, told Sky News: ‘This is yet another example of why the UK government must admit that China poses a systemic threat to the UK and change the integrated review to reflect that’.”

Conservative MP Jeremy Quin, chair of the defense committee, asked Defense Secretary Grant Shapps when the ‘malign actor’ would be named.

Shapps responded that it will ‘take some time’ for government process to conclude who was to blame for cyber-attack.

The Guardian reported:

“Grant Shapps, the defense secretary, has said that “state involvement” in the large-scale cyber attack on the Ministry of Defense (MoD) cannot be ruled out – but without confirming reports that China was responsible.

Shapps said ‘if indeed there is a state sponsored actor” involved, there was a process involved for identifying them. He said it would “take some time’ to reach conclusions.”

Stormy Daniels lost it on Tuesday. The pressure was too much.

The former stripper and porn star started yelling during questioning during the ongoing lawfare case against President Donald Trump.

Stormy Daniels wrote in 2018, “Over the past few weeks I have been asked countless times to comment on reports of an alleged sexual relationship I had with Donald Trump many, many, many years ago. The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence in 2006, 20011, 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018. 1 am not denying this affair because i was paid “hush money” as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. “I am denying this affair because it never happened.”

The pressure was too much for Stormy today. During questioning from the defense team on Tuesday she started yelling in court.

This is NOT what the lawless prosecution lawyers wanted to happen.

Paula Reid: It became really heated because Nicholas confirms you call him names all the time. Daniel starts to sort of yell, saying, “Yes, because he made fun of me first.” This is devolving pretty quickly. This is pretty toddler-esque conduct and lack of accountability. But what the defense is very effectively getting at is Daniel’s disdain for the defendant. This so far has been a very effective and dramatic cross and appears to continuing to become even more dramatic. What do you think?

Phil Mattingly: I think what’s fascinating is the inversion of how two specific people here are reacting to everything. Our team in the room making very clear that Donald Trump has leaned back a little bit. He was very engaged, very animated, very agitated over the course of the morning. Not so much anymore. Stormy Daniels, on the other hand, arms crossed. Things are very tense, starting to get very frustrated. At one point, it seems raising her voice as well. As Paula was reading through, it underscores there has been a very clear shift, not just in how they’re acting, but totally, but also in where this is going.

Trump’s attorneys moved to strike much of Stormy Daniels’ testimony before she took the witness stand, but Judge Merchan still allowed the unnecessary salacious details in his courtroom.

Once prosecutors began asking Stormy Daniels detailed questions about her sexual encounter with Trump, the judge acted shocked and admonished Trump’s lawyers for not objecting to her testimony!

Per TGP contributor Paul Ingrassia who is reporting live from inside of the courtroom: Prosecutors are asking how tall she is relative to Trump and whether there was a power dynamic between them. Now asking about their alleged sexual affair, the position they were in, whether they were intoxicated, “uncomfortable,” and “how they closed it off.”

Trump’s attorneys moved for a mistrial over Stormy Daniels’ testimony, but the crooked judge rejected it.

“What’s the jury to do with that? It’s still extraordinarily prejudicial to insert safety — safety concerns into a trial about business records. There’s no way to unring the bell in our view,” Trump’s attorney Todd Blanche argued.

“As a threshold matter, Mr. Blanche, I agree that there were things that would have been better left unsaid. I think the witness was a little difficult to control,” Judge Merchan said, according to ABC News.

Merchan added, “I don’t believe we’re at the point where a mistrial is warranted. I’m also surprised that there were not more objections.”

While no, it was not the end, Prince Harry is now feeling the cold shoulder for his working against ‘The Firm’ – how the Senior Windsor Royals call themselves.

As we anticipated here, Prince Harry won’t meet King Charles during his current visit to Britain.

The monarch is ‘too busy’ to meet his own son, Harry’s spokesperson said.

Prince Harry is in the UK to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a competition event that he founded for wounded and injured service men and women, both serving and veterans.

“The younger son of King Charles has only been back in Britain on a few occasions since he and his American wife Meghan stepped down from official royal roles in 2020 and moved to Los Angeles where they live with their two young children.”

The two became estranged from the working Royals. Harry is barely on speaking terms with heir to the throne Prince William.

“Harry’s last publicized trip came in February when he made a flying visit to see his father for a quick reunion after Buckingham Palace revealed that the 75-year-old king had been diagnosed with cancer.”

Addressing speculation that the King would meet him, a spokesperson for Harry denied it would happen.

“‘In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program’, the spokesperson said. ‘The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon’.”

Charles returned to public duties last week after his diagnosis for an unspecified form of cancer. The treatment is ongoing, but the King’s medical advisers allowed him to a gradual return to public engagements.
