Former D.C. Official Pleads Guilty to Corruption, Admits to Manipulating Government Contracts for Personal Gain

Bridgette Crowell, a former official within the District of Columbia’s Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) and previously at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), pleaded guilty on Thursday for her involvement in a scheme where she manipulated government contracts for personal gain.

The 39-year-old Laurel, Maryland resident admitted to a one-count criminal Information charging her with conspiracy to commit wire and honest services fraud. Sentencing is scheduled for September 6, 2024, according to DOJ.

Joining Crowell in her corrupt endeavors, Obinna Ogbu, 52, of Silver Spring, Maryland, also entered a guilty plea for his role in the fraudulent activities, both at WMATA and OCP. Meanwhile, Ifediora Oli, another accomplice, has pled not guilty, with his case still pending before the courts.

According to court documents, Crowell began working at OCP in 2019 as a contracting specialist after serving as a contract administrator at WMATA. It was during her time at WMATA that she first met co-conspirators Ogbu and Oli.

While at OCP, Crowell misused her official position by alerting her co-conspirators to upcoming solicitations; providing them with non-public information about the solicitations, including contract pricing; and helping their companies secure government contracts.

According to the press release:

Crowell began working at the District’s Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) in 2019 as a contracting specialist. Before that, she worked at WMATA as a contract administrator. Crowell first met her co-conspirators when working at WMATA.

Ogbu was a WMATA employee. Oli was an employee at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, but separately held himself out as the Principal of Highbury Global Group, Inc. (Highbury).

By 2021, Crowell understood that her co-conspirators had orchestrated a bribery scheme in which Ogbu received things of value for misusing his position at WMATA and steering WMATA-related business opportunities to Oli and Highbury.

While at OCP, Crowell agreed to steer government contracts to Highbury and another company created by Ogbu, The Nupath Company (Nupath), in exchange for things of value.

Crowell misused her official position at OCP by, among other things: alerting her co-conspirators to upcoming solicitations; providing them with non-public information about the solicitations, including information regarding contract pricing; helping Highbury and Nupath secure government contracts; and taking multiple steps to conceal her personal connections to Highbury and Nupath.

Crowell’s misconduct led to Highbury obtaining a $630,000 contract with the District to provide the District’s Department of Forensic Sciences (DFS) with COVID-19 Testing Supplies; Nupath receiving a $27,000 contract to provide the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) with certain equipment; and Nupath being awarded a nearly $850,000 contract to provide MPD with assistance carrying out pre-employment suitability background investigations for officer candidates.

For her official actions and participation in the fraudulent schemes, Crowell received things of value from her co-conspirators, including as much as $10,000 cash per month, a new car, and assistance with closing costs for a new home.

As part of his guilty plea, Ogbu admitted that his misconduct began in 2018 and ultimately resulted in Highbury and Nupath receiving roughly $2 million in funds originating from WMATA and District contracts.

Robert Fico Releases First Public Statement Since Assassination Attempt

For the first time since he was wounded in an assassination attempt in mid-May, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico has released a public statement in the form of a short, 40-second, video.

In the speech, Fico addressed the subject of his assailant, who was allegedly motivated by Fico’s opposition to Ukraine aid. Fico said that he forgives his would-be assassin, and “will not take any active legal action against him or seek damage compensation.” Fico added that he wanted the assailant to “sort out what he did and why in his own head.”

Fico laid the blame solely at the feet of Slovakia’s opposition, stating that the would-be-assassin was “merely a messenger of the evil and political hatred that a politically unsuccessful and frustrated opposition has developed into unmanageable proportions in Slovakia.”

The sole poll released since the assassination attempt shows Fico’s social-democratic Smer party leading with 24.4 percent. This would be an increase from the 22.95 percent they received in the 2023 parliamentary elections, which returned Fico to power. It also represents an improvement in the polling for Fico himself, who was earlier polling between 21 and 22 percent.

Slovakia will have elections to the European Parliament on June 8, and Fico’s party appears poised to gain four seats of 15, an improvement of one on its 2019 results.

Hunter Biden’s Stripper Baby Mama Says Joe Biden Has Never Reached Out to His Granddaughter – While Hunter Has Never Even Met Her! (VIDEO)

Lunden Roberts, the mother of Hunter Biden’s illegitimate child, has revealed that Joe Biden has never even bothered to reach out to his five-year-old granddaughter.

In an interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, Roberts spoke out about her relationship with the Biden family and their lack of interest in their offspring.

“Have you ever heard from either President Biden or the First Lady directly?” Morgan asked.

“No. No, I have not,” Roberts answered.

When the child, named Navy Joan, was born in late 2018, Hunter denied that he was the father and eventually was forced to take a DNA which confirmed that he was. He has since refused to allow her to use the Biden family name.

Joe Biden, meanwhile, only acknowledged his granddaughter’s existence last July. “Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy,” Biden said at the time, adding that it was a “family matter”.

Roberts went on to reveal that Hunter Biden has never met his daughter in person and has only communicated with her via online video calls.

Hunter’s relationship with his daughter has been built through Zoom. He was required to call once a month or something like that. Navy gets to pick out one of his paintings, and that’s how they would start building a relationship.

However, Hunter went above and beyond. He not only called her once a month, but once they started building a relationship, he wanted to call weekly or sometimes a couple of times a week just to talk to her. When she goes into surgery, he wants to Zoom and talk to her. He calls to check on her at different times and things like that. He has gone above what the time frame required and has done that for her, which I appreciate tremendously.

Morgan asked if there are plans for father and daughter to meet in person:

Yeah, I’m sure. Me and Hunter haven’t worked the details out with that. But, I mean like the world knows. Hunter has a lot on his plate right now. I think that that needs to be his main focus, and getting through this time and then the rest can come after. Navy is well aware. She knows that her father’s very busy right now, and he’s got a lot of things going on and she’s waited five years; she can wait a couple more months.

Roberts has an upcoming memoir, entitled Out of the Shadows, about her experiences. It will be released as the Democratic National Committee will be held in chicago.

The Continent’s Future at Stake in European Elections

The Continent’s Future at Stake in European Elections

America First priorities are best served by a revival of European strength.

Europe is ailing. Wracked by a war in the neighborhood with no resolution in sight, starved of leadership willing to address its main challenges, Europe is fast becoming the “sick man of the West.” But with elections to the European Parliament running Thursday through Sunday, voters in the EU’s twenty-seven member states have the chance to be the opening act in the development of a stronger Europe that would, in turn, be a better partner for America.

In recent years, the long-reigning “Atlanticist” consensus—premised on an alignment of interests between the United States and Europe—has taken ever more unsustainable forms. Egged on by militancy from across the ocean, Europe has followed a wartime path fully dependent on American military backing, yet ever more precarious and uncertain in its outcomes. A sanctions policy has been implemented with little recognition of its effects on ordinary citizens, and European political processes show little appetite for public debate of strategic questions.

An “America First” agenda need not be at odds with a more sovereign, self-supporting Europe. Indeed, they can be complementary. But how to get there depends on European developments in the coming months, and on American developments thereafter. So where do things stand?

Ordinary Europeans realize that something is deeply wrong. According to the newest poll from Semafor, voters in France and Germany have begun to doubt the commitment of the United States to European security. Yet this sentiment is not a warlike one. Contrary to mainstream European politicians, western European citizens favor a negotiated settlement in Ukraine, think that Europe should be more responsible for its own defense, and favor a more balanced relationship with the United States. Likewise, 69 percent of EU citizens oppose sending troops to Ukraine.

These ordinary viewpoints are not being reflected in the level of European politics, however. Instead, more and more, Europe’s sickness is beginning to look like a fever. Far from bringing about a reconsideration of the war, the parlous state of the Ukraine conflict has only prompted European leaders to redouble their military commitment. Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron declared that Ukraine would be able to use certain French missiles to strike targets inside Russia. And NATO’s secretary general has brought the organization close to crossing its own red lines against direct involvement in the conflict.

Politics in Europe is still national, but Brussels’ institutions enjoy tremendous power. This disjunction has caused a paralysis in Europe’s definition of its international role. “Vote locally, with unmanaged international consequences” has proven a manifest failure. While European elites long for a “Hamiltonian moment” that could transform Europe into a unified political entity, in practice they mean preferring the European institutions insulated against popular dissatisfaction.

What has this meant in recent years? Involvement in the Ukraine conflict has been adopted as a defining moment of European politics—yet with little or no input from European citizens. The green agenda favored by center-left elites has been pushed by the European Commission, effectively Europe’s governing body. “Rule of law” investigations have been launched against Hungary and, formerly, the conservative Polish government—tightening the politicization of European institutions. The most recent sovereigntist turn in Europe—the return of Slovakian prime minister Robert Fico—resulted in the gravest European political assassination attempt in living memory. The consequence of all these trends has been a continent on the verge of economic decline, with politicized institutions of declining credibility, a social model destroyed by uncontrolled illegal migration and a political model of great fragility.

Europe does not have long to begin to resolve this problem—and cannot do so alone. Having suffered the consequences of a disastrous migration policy, and having taken the brunt of a failed energy sanctions policy, Europe’s reserves are running thin. The institutional context for resolving these concerns is also lacking. Unlike most parliaments, the European Parliament (EP) does not propose new laws, but—in the EU’s Byzantine structure—votes on policies proposed by the European Commission and Council. Since the Commission’s membership is voted on by the European Parliament, its effects on European policymaking are indirect but real.

Under the leadership of Ursula von der Leyen, the Commission has reflected a “centrist” agenda in the same way that the American “center” has, over time, reflected a more and more radical agenda. Fittingly enough, the von der Leyen Commission has also been a faithful replicator of the liberal-Atlanticist agenda of the American deep state.

Here the possibility for change hinges on tilting the European Parliament to the right, and hoping that the right-wing parties can come together and shape a more conservative, more responsive Commission. At the moment, the EP is dominated by an alliance between the center-right EPP and center-left S&D party groupings. In the most recent elections in 2019, held in the wake of Brexit and the migration crisis, sovereigntist parties grew in strength. But the von der Leyen Commission was ultimately elected on a “centrist” alliance of center-right and center-left.

Current polls show that a conservative majority is the likely outcome of the election. Stitching together the corresponding parties and European party groups is another matter. Aside from EPP, Europe’s right-wing party groupings, the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Identity and Democracy (ID), are dominated respectively by Giorgia Meloni’s Fratelli d’Italia and Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National (RN). ID recently expelled the German AfD party from its ranks; here too, domestic political needs could get in the way of making alliances among the right-wing parties. In Hungary, Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz Party is not conjoined to any party grouping, and has expressed an intention of joining ECR. But only the election results will show what combinations are possible.

American skeptics of involvement in the Ukraine conflict have sometimes cast aspersions on the European right (particularly Italy’s Meloni) for not being bolder in advocating for a swift, peaceful resolution to the conflict. But as long as Europe depends heavily on outside support, it can be wishful thinking to expect most European politicians to diverge from the transatlantic consensus. A true transformation of European politics toward the seeking of a peaceful resolution requires a change of leadership as well as the development of a stronger native defense capacity.

Regardless of what happens in the elections, European ability to pursue its own foreign policy goals will demand a delicate balance on the part of any corresponding conservative resurgence in the United States. The sad fact of the situation is that European debate about its international role has devolved into a very degraded state, with little discussion of strategic issues around war and peace. In other words, Europe has been emptying its coffers to support Ukraine’s military effort without any plan regarding the conflict’s denouement. When European politicians speak as though the military wind is at their sails, they do so on the basis of perceived American support and not on the basis of Europe’s own geopolitical strength.

The needy state of European defense, and the limits on American global military projection, have prompted many on the American right to insist on a greater role for Europe in its own self-defense. If a returned Trump administration is to pursue this approach, however, it will have to foster the conditions necessary for European political leaders to identify European strategic interests and to develop ways of calculating the nature of their own security and defense. It won’t be enough to simply vocalize that Europe should take care of its own defense. American conservatives will need to directly help European sovereigntist forces bring about a rethinking of Europe’s strategic priorities.

The increasingly militant nature of the transatlantic consensus has hobbled the development of this strategic mindset in Europe, however. At present, European politicians willingly pursue decoupling from Russian energy or Chinese markets if the imperative comes from Washington requiring that in the name of Western security.

In other words, American “realist” expectations won’t be realized for Europe unless Europe is given the chance to define its own interests, and has the economic and political conditions necessary to realize them.

Many American skeptics of intervention have fretted that shifts to the right haven’t brought a reconsideration of the war. But it is difficult for an economically weakened, militarily underdeveloped and socially torn Europe to develop the framework of a robust self-defense. The war has cost Europe approximately 100 billion euros thus far (the United States has contributed a comparable amount), plus an untold opportunity cost as energy prices have risen and business and trade has dried up.

With Trump poised to storm over an ailing Biden candidacy into the White House, Europe’s ailing place in the Western alliance will soon take center stage. If Trump comes to power, America’s role in Europe can only be managed with the strong presence of sovereigntist forces in Europe.

An America First agenda can only take hold in the United States if European patriots have the chance to replace Europe’s uniparty with sovereigntist forces intent on defining and realizing a path that makes sense for Europe. Such a path would be built on strong nations, an interlinked economy, strategic decision-making and a restored cultural nexus.

In the coming days, we will find out what political forces Europe has to offer in this essential fight.

Why Does American Folly March on in Ukraine?

Why Does American Folly March on in Ukraine?

Russia looks ready to negotiate—so why escalate?

Credit: Alex Wong/Getty Images

In his memoir, A Life in Our Times, the venerable economist John Kenneth Galbraith noted that he came to view politics not as the “art of the possible” but rather as a choice “between the disastrous and the unpalatable.”

As things stand today, a similar choice—between a disastrous escalation or an unpalatable settlement—appears to be the only one on offer for Ukraine. And thanks to a number of developments over the course of the past two weeks, it is becoming clear that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and his sponsors in Washington are increasingly intent on choosing the former over the latter—even as it has come to light, courtesy of a May 24 report from Reuters, that Putin himself “is ready to halt the war in Ukraine with a negotiated ceasefire that recognizes the current battlefield lines.”

As the tide of the war has turned, perhaps permanently, in Russia’s favor (itself an entirely foreseeable development despite the wishful thinking that has characterized too much of what passes for informed analysis here in Washington), Ukraine’s Western sponsors find themselves scrambling to find a way to halt Russia’s momentum. For their part, Biden, Blinken and Sullivan have decided to reverse course—despite public assurances to the contrary—by secretly sending long range ATACMS to Kiev and lifting the (wise) prohibition against the use of American weapons to strike inside Russian territory—a prohibition Germany has likewise lifted.

Additionally, it was reported on May 30th that Washington will soon offer Kiev a bilateral security pact, said to be “the most significant in a series of deals Ukraine has struck with Nato countries” with Washington agreeing to provide long term military and financial assistance to Kiev, including, according to the Financial Times, military training, intelligence sharing and economic assistance.

Still more, it is expected that France will soon put “boots on the ground” in Ukraine in the form of military trainers. This news comes as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Charles Q. Brown Jr., has begun publicly laying the groundwork for what he has said will be the eventual deployment of American military trainers to Ukraine. Biden and his top advisers seem to have internalized the wishes of those—like the disgraced former general and CIA director David Petraeus—who have called for the administration to “to stop temporizing” and to “get on with it.” Meanwhile, departing NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg last Friday called on NATO members to pony up $43 billion a year to arm Ukraine.

Amidst this flurry of activity, no one, from Sullivan to Stoltenberg on down to their stenographers at the Washington Post and Foreign Affairs can explain in clear, unambiguous language why the matter of who governs Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Donetsk (or even Odessa and Kharkiv) is worth a direct, possibly even catastrophic confrontation with Russia. How and when did it become a paramount national security objective of the United States and NATO to help Galician ethno-nationalists regain control over a people they neither desired nor valued?

As it happens, the (non)reasons for our decade-long involvement  in Ukraine are not much different from the (non)reasons behind the American misadventure in Vietnam. In The March of Folly, historian Barbara Tuchman relays the response of a White House official who, when asked how American interests in Southeast Asia was defined in 1961, answered that “it was simply a given, assumed and unquestioned.”

Likewise the (alleged) American interest in Ukraine: given, assumed, and unquestioned.

Indeed, missing—and crucially—from the discussion of the recent spate of initiatives designed to prop up  Ukraine is that of US national interest. In her history of political folly, Tuchman asked, “Why do holders of high office so often act contrary to the way reason points and enlightened self-interest suggests? Why do intelligent mental processes so often not function?”

Part of the answer, Tuchman found, lies in a phenomenon she labels “wooden-headedness,” or self-deception, which, in her telling,

consists in assessing a situation in terms of preconceived fixed notions while ignoring or rejecting any contrary signs. It is acting according to wish while not allowing oneself to be deflected by the facts. It is epitomized in a historian’s statement about Philip II of Spain, the surpassing wooden-head of all sovereigns: “No experience of the failure of his policy could shake his belief in its essential excellence.”

Yet in the face of repeated and public warnings from the Russians, we persist in our folly—in essence, playing chicken with a nuclear armed power over a country of absolutely zero strategic significance to the United States.

Here’s How Polls are Reacting to Trump’s Conviction

Here’s How Polls are Reacting to Trump’s Conviction

The former president’s conviction hasn’t really changed anything. Why?

Credit: Evan El-Amin

“But, you know what, even if he did do it,” Dave Chappelle cuts off his sentence, squints his eyes, stretches his mouth, and gives a large, nonchalant shrug. “You know what I mean?”

What was originally a punchline to a racy Michael Jackson joke is now being used on social media in reaction to Trump’s conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records in a Manhattan courtroom last week. And polling data since the verdict seems to suggest that’s actually how people feel about it.

A snap poll conducted by YouGov in the wake of Trump’s conviction surveyed how around 3,000 U.S. adults felt about Trump’s conviction. Fifty percent of respondents, which skewed more independent and Democratic, believed Trump was guilty, while 30 percent said the former president was not, and another 19 percent were unsure.

Morning Consult’s poll on the conviction had similar findings. Fifty-four percent of registered voters approved of the jury’s verdict, while 39 percent disapproved.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll asked respondents how the conviction could impact their vote come November. While 25 percent of independents and ten percent of Republicans claimed the verdict made them less likely to vote for Trump, 18 percent of independents and 35 percent of Republicans said Thursday’s verdict made them more likely to vote for Trump in November. But, for the majority of Republicans and independents, the conviction had no impact on how they’ll vote in the upcoming election at all. Fifty-six percent of Republicans and independents respectively said the conviction had not changed their minds.

Yet in another post-conviction poll conducted by Daily Mail/J.L. Partners, Trump’s conviction coincided with an increase in his approval ratings. Twenty-two percent of respondents claimed to have a more favorable view of Trump after the guilty verdict came in, while just 16 percent had a more negative view. Nevertheless, a plurality of voters polled saw no change. Thirty-two percent of likely voters who already harbored negative attitudes toward Trump did not have any change of opinion. As was the case for 27 percent of likely voters who had a preexisting positive view towards Trump.

If nothing else, Trump’s conviction was intended to sink his polling numbers as Democrats and their allies in the corporate media uses every opportunity to make “convicted felon” Trump’s brand just as Trump has so effectively branded them—“fake,” “crooked,” “sleepy,” “little,” and so on. But that’s not happening. The average polling margin for a head-to-head matchup between Biden and Trump has remained relatively steady at about one percent for the past month. The first polls coming out post conviction don’t suggest any movement one way or the other. One poll has Biden winning, one says it’s a tie, a handful say Trump is on top.

But the popular vote doesn’t mean much for how we elect the president in this country. When Trump won in 2016, there was much ado about Trump losing the popular vote—so much so that many liberal commentators said the Electoral College ought to be put to bed. Nevertheless, Hillary Clinton could thank her popular vote victory solely to a four million vote differential in California. When Biden won both the popular vote and Electoral College in 2020, his margins in the Golden State accounted for almost the entirety of the Democratic ticket’s popular vote advantage.

All that is to say: It’s the swing states, stupid. And early polls suggest Trump’s conviction hasn’t changed things in these crucial states either. In Georgia, a Quinnipiac University poll conducted from May 30 to June 3 found Trump leading Biden by 5 points head to head, and 6 points when accounting for third party candidates. A MNS/Mitchell Research poll in Michigan found the race is a dead heat in a state where polls have flip-flopped between Trump and Biden within a few percentage points. In North Carolina, Trump still seems firmly in control.

It’s fun to watch polls like the stock market. Lines go up and down. Speculation ensues. But Americans are faced with a decision where everything seems already baked into the cake. The election is scheduled for November 5, but it might as well be tomorrow. Jacta alea est.

Crime is so Bad in Oakland, California That the City Can’t Fix Potholes Because Workers Feel Unsafe (VIDEO)

The crime problem in Oakland has been well documented. They recently replaced traffic lights with stop signs because people were stealing the copper wire in the lights. Parts of the city look like a post-apocalyptic waste land.

Things have gotten so bad that when the city recently tried to repair potholes, workers wouldn’t finish the job because they felt unsafe.

How is this all happening in an American city?

FOX News reports:

Oakland community left with gaping potholes after crime crisis drives away construction crew

An East Oakland community’s roads remain mottled with gaping potholes after safety concerns led a construction crew to abandon their repaving project, according to a local report.

“He essentially said that the work was suspended and he couldn’t tell me the time frame when they would return because the contractor halted all the work because they felt unsafe,” Shari Angarano, a resident of the Sobrante Park area, told the Daily Mail of her recent call with the project manager.

“They were not going to restart the project until the City of Oakland could guarantee a safe work environment for them,” she added…

Angarano spoke on camera with KRON 4 San Francisco where she said the existing pavement was ripped up last month to prepare for the repaving, but the day the crew was slated to repave the roads, they never showed up.

“There’s more and more gravel and rocks being kicked up every day, every time the bus passes by,” she told the outlet. “I did pose that question to the project manager… what happens if my tires get popped? All he could do was tell me to submit a request to the city for reimbursement.”

Watch the video report below:

A construction crew has left the streets in Oakland unpaved over crime in the city.

Workers are refusing to continue repaving Oakland unless the city can create a less dangerous working environment.

If residents are upset about this, they should direct their anger to the leaders of the city, not the workers.

The people charged with the care of the city have failed.

Joe Rogan on the Lawfare Campaign Against Trump: ‘Scary How Many Democrats Are Willing to Allow This’ (VIDEO)

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan was speaking to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe and remarked that the Democrat lawfare campaign against Trump is ‘scary’ in that so many Democrats are fine with it.

He correctly points out that Democrats are setting a precedent that they may soon regret.

He recalls how the left wanted Obama to go after Bush and Cheney for war crimes and notes that Obama – who killed an American citizen with a drone strike – could now face similar charges if someone wanted to go after him.

Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

Like, if you have the backing of the political party, it doesn’t matter, especially the party that’s in charge.

What’s scary is how many Democrats are willing to allow this kind of stuff to happen. A lot of them are aware of it. There was this one lady that went viral, and she was talking about it, and she was saying, “You have to understand, I’m not a Trump supporter. I don’t like Trump, but this is really dangerous for democracy. Nobody can justify this, and nobody could say this guy should be in jail for this. This doesn’t make any sense.”

And especially if you wanted to look at past presidents with the same scrutiny. There are so many instances of things that you could go after. This is one of the things Obama said when he got into office. They were talking about George Bush and Dick Cheney being charged with war crimes. And he was saying, “We’re not going to look to the past; we’re going to look towards the future. We’re not going to prosecute anybody.”

Imagine if, when Obama got into office, he decided to prosecute Dick Cheney and George Bush for crimes against humanity. Oh, my God. Do you know how crazy that would be? You know how divided the country would be then? Well, that’s the same thing kind of taking place now on a lesser scale, obviously, because it’s not a war crime you’re charging someone with, but you could. You could charge Trump with war crimes. You could find some things that he did, especially with bombings. Even what Obama did — during the administration, they dropped a drone on a US citizen. No trial, no nothing. Boom.

TONY HINCHCLIFFE: Trump didn’t even go for Obama. He didn’t go for Hillary. He could have. He could have tried them for things.

JOE ROGAN: Well, especially Hillary, especially with the whole email thing, the deleting the emails.

TONY HINCHCLIFFE: And supposedly Trump’s the crazy one. Trump’s the loose cannon.

Here’s the clip:

“This is really dangerous for Democracy. Nobody can justify this.”

The left’s hatred of Trump is pathological. They would burn down the country just to get rid of him. They will eventually pay a political price for it.

Trump Still Leading Biden in Polls – AFTER Sham Guilty Verdict

Many people have been wondering if the sham New York guilty verdict would have any effect on Trump’s polling. Now the results are starting to roll in and so far it’s all bad news for Biden.

In at least two new polls, Trump is still leading Biden.

This is a clear indication that the public knows the Democrat legal crusade against Trump is purely political.

Townhall reports on new polling from Emerson:

Here’s What a New National Survey Shows About Trump’s Support Post-Conviction

A new national survey from Emerson College Polling shows support for former President Donald Trump remained the same despite a criminal conviction in the sham hush money trial.

In a two-way race, 46 percent of voters support Trump while 45 percent back President Joe Biden. Nine percent are undecided. The race is an even, 50-50 split when the undecideds were pushed to name which candidate they’re leaning toward.

When third-party candidates are included, Biden takes a bigger hit than Trump.

See the figures below:

Quinnipiac polling shows Trump still leading in Georgia:

One of the first polls post-Trump verdict shows Trump still dominant.

Quinnipiac’s poll in Georgia shows Trump winning +5 in a head-to-head matchup (+6 with RFK Jr.).

Post-verdict, the race is still tied in Virginia, which is incredible.

FOX PANELIST: I have 2 takeaways from the new poll—

1. Biden’s Sham Trial verdict had NO impact on the head-to-head polling

2. It’s simply incredible that VIRGINIA is TIED—this is the 2nd quality poll to show that. Virginia hasn’t gone Republican in 20 YEARS pic.twitter.com/q6gS5a5KXa

Democrats and the media put so much of their time and energy into this, and so far they have nothing to show for it.

THE RIGHT WAY: European Elections Kick-off With Leftist Media Panicking About Right Wing Continental Surge

Starting today until Sunday, voters across the European community will go to the polls to elect the MEPs that will represent each country in the European Parliament.

And come Monday, when the results are divulged, we are expected to have a rightward continental shift.

And that’s not wishful thinking by conservatives, as one may think. In fact, the leftist media is all over it – of course, from a standpoint of alerting to the ‘danger’ conservatives pose.

Populist right-wing movements, Politico reported, are surging ‘in ways that could have a loud global echo.’

“In recent days, far-right parties have been showing startling strength in polls in countries across the European Union. If this translates to major electoral gains, as now appears likely, it would deliver an embarrassing rebuke to the two most prominent leaders on the continent: French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, both struggling with lackluster poll numbers.”

Macron and Scholz, the expected biggest losers.

The politico article rightly understands the connection between Donald Trump’s rise (and return) to power and the many different European conservative forces at play.

If the right performs well in Europe this week, as expected, it will prove that the conservative planetary movement ‘has enduring power.’

“After a tense election campaign marred by political violence — including the attempted assassination of Slovakia’s prime minister — voting in the European Parliament election kicked off on Thursday morning in the Netherlands. It will carry on across the EU’s 27 member countries until Sunday night, with final results known early on Monday.”

In France, Macron is expected to get crushed by Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party, while the German AfD Alternative for Germany party is in second place head to head with Scholz’s Social Democratic Party.

“In Italy, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party, which has its roots in the country’s fascist past, is due to increase its number of seats in the European Parliament. In Poland, the nationalist, anti-abortion Law and Justice party is looking to make a comeback after losing power last December.”

Politico has polls showing that right-wingers may improve from 72 to as much as 184 seats.

“While Europe’s right-wing parties are unlikely to unite as a single block, their surge in support — and their normalization as political forces — will increase pressure on European leaders to crack down on migration to the bloc, water down plans to decarbonizes the economy and possibly dial back the EU’s support for Ukraine.”

The downtrending pro-EU mainstream parties are still expected to maintain a slim majority in the European Parliament. But will they?
