Jim Hoft previously reported thuggish Chicago Sky players viciously assaulted Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark during a WNBA game Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis.

As one can see in the video below, Sky player Chennedy Carter slammed into Clark from behind when she was not looking in a deliberate attempt to injure her. The player also reportedly called Clark a “b*tch” before assaulting her.

Angel Reese erupted in joy after seeing her nemesis go down and celebrated the cheap shot with the rest of her giddy teammates.

Instead of apologizing, the classless athletes are shamelessly attempting to play the victim card, though it’s not working, as readers will later learn in this article. CBS Sportsreported that on Wednesday a man confronted the Chicago Sky players outside of their hotel in Washington, DC, the day before their game against the Mystics.

Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca claimed to the Chicago Sun-Times that the individual in question approached the team with a camera and was looking for Carter. The Sky’s security reportedly defused the situation and led the man away.

Pagliocca told the paper the team decided not to get the police involved.

Some Sky players, including Reese, took to X to blast the “harassment.” One complained about not even being able to get off the bus.

But footage suggests that they are exaggerating, if not outright lying, about their claims. A 19-second video shared by Jack McGuire from Barstool Sports shows the man politely asking Carter if she has had a chance to reach out to Clark.

Sky Player Michaela Onyenwere claims the video is selectively edited and does not show the man calling them vulgar names and insulting female sports.

Interesting how the video posted was edited and doesn’t include when he harassed our staff while calling us “ghetto b******” and saying “women’s sports isn’t s***”.

We are not about to normalize things like that.

It’s unknown how much, if any additional footage exist from this incident. However, given the players’ disgusting and jealous behavior toward Clark, they have not earned the benefit of the doubt.

A gunman opened fire on the US Embassy in Lebanon on Wednesday morning and was injured before being apprehended, the Lebanese Army announced.

The US Embassy reported that the attack at the embassy’s entrance did not result in any casualties among its personnel and that Lebanese troops and embassy security responded swiftly.

According to the Lebanese Army’s statement, as cited by The New York Times, a Syrian national opened fire, and soldiers wounded the assailant, who is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

A Lebanese security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity due to the ongoing investigation, said the army had completed a search of the area around the diplomatic mission and initial information suggested the shooter acted alone.

The embassy was also targeted in September when a gunman fired at the complex. No one was injured in that incident, and a suspect was arrested. In October, protesters clashed with security forces while attempting to reach the embassy following a deadly explosion at the al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.

The diplomatic mission relocated from central Beirut to the suburb of Awkar, to the north, after a suicide bombing killed 63 people in 1983. US authorities attributed that attack to Hezbollah, which is currently engaged in clashes with Israel.

Two relatively minor quakes hit Southern California in Newport Beach Thursday evening.

The first quake, magnitude 3.6, hit 1 mile ENE of Newport Beach at 4:52 pm local time. A second quake, magnitude 3.4, hit 2 miles ENE of Newport Beach at 5:05 pm local time.

Shaking was felt in Orange County, parts of the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County.

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck Newport Beach on Wednesday afternoon.

Seven total quakes have rattled Southern California in the last 6 days.

While these quakes are considered small by California standards, scientists say they may be foreshocks to a major quake on the Newport-Inglewood fault.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck Newport Beach on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in weak shaking in Orange County.

The epicenter of the quake, just southeast of Costa Mesa, was underneath Mariners Park. Weak shaking was felt in Irvine, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Tustin, and Fountain Valley, according to people who reported the shaking to the U.S. Geological Survey’s Did You Feel It? website.

The earthquake struck at 1:46 p.m. and occurred near mapped traces of the Newport-Inglewood/Rose Canyon fault zone. In Santa Ana, one person felt the earthquake as starting with the slowest of rumbles, then a quick jolt.

The Newport-Inglewood fault has long been considered one of Southern California’s top seismic danger zones because it runs under some of the region’s most densely populated areas, from the Westside of Los Angeles to the Orange County coast.

The last major quake on that fault occurred in 1933 — the magnitude 6.4 Long Beach earthquake. That temblor — the deadliest in modern Southern California history — resulted in “very strong” shaking, or level 7 on the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale, in Long Beach, Huntington Beach and Compton.

The 1933 quake left nearly 120 dead and caused $40 million in property damage.

Scientists have said that recent observations suggest earthquakes as large as magnitudes 6.8 to 7.5 have struck the Newport-Inglewood/Rose Canyon fault system, which stretches from the border of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles through Long Beach and the Orange County coast to downtown San Diego.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.

Florida’s Byron Donalds is said to be a top contender for President Trump’s VP nomination

 

On Monday, the Joe Biden and his campaign page, Biden-Harris HQ, published an X post falsely claiming that “Trump did not cap insulin costs, Biden did for seniors through the Inflation Reduction Act.”  Despite Biden-Harris HQ claiming that Trump doing it was a “blatant lie”, they, in fact, were the blatant liars.  John Roberts of FOX News addressed the false Biden campaign claim the following night.

In fact, Joe Biden “froze” the Trump executive order that capped the price of insulin at $35 just two days into office on January 23, 2021.  Numerous fact-checkers twisted around words about whether he cancelled it or froze it, insisting it was a 60-day freeze of the Trump executive order.

Strike 1.

Earlier this week, Biden “shut down” the border.  By shut down, he meant allowing more than 2500 illegals to cross through ports of entry each day, or 900,000 each year (not including the 800-1000 estimated daily to cross between ports of entry), and gave incredible discretion to the now-impeached DHS Secretary Mayorkas as to when it can remain open once the quota has been surpassed.

But in January 2024, the White House published a statement on “Bipartisan Senate Border Security Negotiations” in which he said, “It would give me…a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed.  And if given that authority, I would use it the day I signed the bill into law.”

Biden, in fact, did not need Congress to pass a bill, despite falsely accusing President Trump and the House majority of stonewalling it for “political reasons.”  Speaker Mike Johnson held out on passing the $118 billion “border security” spending bill that included $60.1 billion for Ukraine, $14.1 billion for Israel, and $20.2 billion for the “border” but not so much for the “security.”

Strike 2.

Now the campaign page, apparently run by a serial liar, has done it again.  This time, they attacked Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) over a sit-down discussion he gave earlier this week.

The shameless campaign account posted, “Trump VP contender Byron Donalds claims life was better for Black Americans “during Jim Crow.”

The selectively-edited clip shows Donalds saying “You see, during Jim Crow, the black family was together.  During Jim Crow, more black people were not just conservative, black people have always been conservative-minded, but more black people voted conservatively.”  I’m sure Donalds, however, would appreciate the admission by the Biden-Harris HQ team that black families being together and voting conservative was a better life for black Americans.  Their words, not his.

Donalds, a firebrand conservative and possible VP consideration, fired back on X stating, “1.  You lied.  I never said better.  2.  Don’t clip my words.  Play the whole thing.  Let me help you.”

Strike 3.  You’re Out!

Donalds joined CNN’s Abby Phillip to respond to the false assertion.  Phillip said that “many Democrats” incorrectly jumped on Donalds for saying black families were “better off” but acknowledged that he never actually said those words.  When asked “what did you mean by black families were more together during Jim Crow?”

Donalds responded,

“Frankly, what this is about the empirical fact that before the Great Society, before Lindon Johnson’s policies, there was more black families united.  The marriage rate in black America was significantly higher before the Great Society, the period of time that coincides with that obviously is the Jim Crow era.  And then after the Great Society, the marriage rate in the black community plummeted significantly.  The Great Society is a part of that reason, not completely, but definitely a part of that.  And what you’re seeing right now is a reformation of black families in America.  That’s a good thing not only for the black community and black families, but also a good thing for the country.”

LBJ’s Great Society was destructive to Black families in America.

Joe Biden’s ’94 Crime Bill & the War on Drugs were also destructive to Black families.

Eric Swalwell (D-CA) was standing in the on-deck circle and took a swing at the same sinker Biden struck out on.  He doubled down with a post stating, “Sorry, Byron Donalds.  Even this right-leaning platform rejects your bat-shit crazy claim that black families were better off in the 1800s.”

I’m sure Donalds is thankful for the save from the white virtue-signaling adulterer.

The broken record continues to repeat itself. Once again another transgender has been arrested in a fatal shooting.

Another transgender has committed murder.

35-year-old John “Joan” Eikens was arrested for fatally shooting his neighbor.

John Eikens shot and killed a 56-year-old man on Monday night at the 1700 block of South 8th St. West.

“Shortly after 11:00 PM, SWAT successfully took the Eikens into custody without further incident. Eikens is currently held at the Missoula County Detention Facility on charges of deliberate homicide, obstructing a peace officer, and resisting arrest,” Missoula Police Department said.

KPAX reported: “A person is being held on a pending charge of deliberate homicide after a man was shot to death on Monday, June 3, in Missoula. MPD reports officers were called to a residence in the 1700 block of 8th Street West just after 7:30 p.m. on reports that a person had been shot. Officers arrived on the scene and attempted life-saving measures on a 56-year-old man who was later pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported that the 35-year-old suspect, John “Joan” Eikens, returned home with a gun and barricaded themself inside.”

Don’t be too quick to judge though, for all we know this guy could have been misgendered. If there is one thing that the liberal media and left wing academia have tried to tell us, its that misgendering someone is basically the same thing as violently attacking them. Surely there is no mental illness to be seen here.

A Southwest flight was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday after a tire blew out.

Passengers were ‘screaming and crying’ as the Boeing 737-700 made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport on Monday.

KDVR reported:

A Southwest flight had to make an emergency landing at Denver International Airport after one of the tires failed during takeoff.

The airline sent a statement to FOX31 saying Southwest Flight 225 had to return to Denver after the pilot declared an emergency on Monday. According to FlightAware, the aircraft was a Boeing 737-700 headed for Phoenix Sky Harbor International.

FlightAware shows the plane took off from DIA at 6:31 p.m. on Monday, however, shortly after, Southwest said one of the tires failed. The plane landed back at DIA at 7:12 p.m.

Southwest said the flight landed “without incident and taxied off the runway.”

“When the flight attendants said we were going to have an emergency landing, we started to panic a little bit. People were definitely crying and screaming and trying to console one another,” passenger Julianna Donadio told 9News.

“We knew we blew a tire, but we didn’t know what the landing gear situation was,” she said. “They started preparing us for crash position, so having our head between our knees, and they were informing the emergency exit line how to open the doors and operate potentially the slides.”

Mike Rowe interviews Riley Gaines on his podcast, “The Way I Heard It.”

Mike Rowe, the former host of the popular TV show “Dirty Jobs,” has a way of telling it like it is.

He recently addressed a comment about his interview with former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines.

He was asked by ‘Carol,’ “Is it my imagination, or have you and your podcast become more political? I enjoyed the interview with @Riley_Gaines_but was really surprised to see you ‘go there’ and speak so candidly about such a politically charged topic.”

He has consistently criticized America’s dependence on higher education as the only path to success, as well as the rabid anti-Israel protests occurring on college campuses.

He blasted the government for treating the “unvaccinated like the enemy” and shared concerns over the woke elements permeating the military.

Rowe’s response to Carol is brilliant.

Hi Carol.
It’s your imagination.

Your question reminds of a common refrain I hear nowadays from friends of mine on both sides of the aisle. “I didn’t leave my party, my party left me!” I can sympathize. In this case, I would tell you that I haven’t become any more political than I’ve ever been – but everything around me certainly has. Or maybe, everything has just become more controversial, and therefore everything feels more political?

Either way, the facts surrounding Riley’s ordeal are not in dispute. She and her teammates were told by the NCAA to either compete with a man or quit the sport they loved. They were told to either share a locker room with a man or seek professional psychiatric help. They were also told that failing to accept the swimmer formerly known as Will Thomas as a woman, might result in his suicide, and that his blood would be on their hands.

For daring to question the fairness of these decisions, Riley Gaines was branded a bigot and a transphobe. She was attacked by protestors at San Francisco State and held against her will for several hours. Her captors were not punished. In fact, they were congratulated by the administrators at the college.

It’s also important to know that Riley Gaines never suggested to me that adults be denied the right to identify as a member of the opposite sex or take whatever steps they wish to take in order to facilitate a physical transition. We both support that right, even if we don’t support the idea that taxpayers should pay for it, or that minors should be allowed to proceed with irreversible surgeries without their parent’sconsent. But mostly, we both believe that it’s fundamentally unfair to allow men to compete against women, and deeply troubling that so many otherwise sensible Americans stood by and said nothing, as the NCAA made a mockery of Title IX, and ran roughshod over decades of hard-fought women’s rights.

As I said to her on the podcast, Riley Gaines reminds me of the kid in The Emperor’s New Clothes – the only one in the crowd to point out the obvious fact that the man parading before them was stark naked, while the townspeople pretended, he wasn’t. Just like the townspeople in America who pretended that Lea Thomas was a woman, simply because he changed his name and claimed to be one. Even when he leapt from a ranking of #462 as “Will,” to #1 as “Lea,” the townspeople just couldn’t see the difference between him, and the women he so completely and totally dominated. Even when the townspeople saw with their own eyes, a telltale bulge in the women’s bathing suit he wore on the podium, they still applauded the emperor’s new clothes, and congratulated him for his great triumph.

Those townspeople will not be remembered for their politics, Carol. They’ll be remembered for their cowardice. Just as Riley Gaines will be remembered for her courage.

Hunter Biden smoked ping-pong ball-sized crack rocks according to Hallie Biden.

Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s dead brother’s wife-turned-girlfriend, testified at Hunter’s criminal federal gun trial on Thursday.

In September Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.

According to text messages sent to Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden set up a drug deal with “Mookie” one day after he illegally purchased his gun on October 12, 2018.

One day after purchasing his gun on Oct. 12, 2018, Hunter Biden sets up a drug deal with “Mookie” at the 7/11 on Greenhill and Lancaster.

A couple days later he went on a crack-smoking bender and passed out in his car.

The Gateway Pundit reported back in October 2020 that Hallie Biden tossed Hunter’s gun in the trash in a Delaware grocery store parking lot. A man who routinely rummages through trash cans discovered Hunter Biden’s gun and handed it over to law enforcement.

Prosecutors on Tuesday told the court that Hunter Biden bought the firearm while he was smoking crack every 15 minutes.

On Thursday Hallie Biden told the court that Hunter smoked ping-pong ball-sized crack rocks.

NBC News reported:

Hallie Biden said she discovered some crack and had to “google it” because, she said, “I didn’t know what it was.”

When she confronted Hunter about the drugs, he admitted he was using.

Hunter would smoke crack “occasionally” in Hallie Biden’s presence, she testified, saying that in between crack use, he continued to work and see family.

She also witnessed Hunter smoke crack in his D.C. apartment and in a house they rented in Annapolis, Maryland, from the fall of 2017 through July 2018. At times, Hallie Biden would accompany Hunter Biden to drug deals, she said.

Hunter Biden’s demeanor would change when he smoked crack, she said. He would become “agitated, high strung,” she said, “but other times functioning as well.”

The amount of crack Hunter possessed at any given time ranged from a piece smaller than a marble to multiple rocks the size of ping pong balls, she said.

Hunter Biden previously disclosed that he smoked parmesan cheese, mistaking it for crack.

“I spent more time on my hands and knees picking through rugs, smoking anything that remotely resembled crack cocaine — I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone that you know, Tracy,” Hunter said.

“I went one time for 13 days without sleeping, and smoking crack and drinking vodka throughout that entire time,” he said.

Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier was killed in the line of duty, but Connecticut town refuses to honor him with Thin Blue Line flag.

While the residents of Wethersfield, Connecticut, grapple with the tragedy of losing Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier, who was killed in the line of duty, they are also facing obscene disrespect by town leaders.

Democrat Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont directed that state flags be flown at half-mast to honor Pelletier. Wethersfield’s Town Council then weighed whether to also fly the Thin Blue Line flag.

During the discussion, Democratic Councilmember Emily Zambrello said, “That flag was either created or at least became prevalent in direct response to the Black Lives Matter protests. It’s viewed as antagonistic even if you don’t see it that way and I don’t think that’s a good flag to fly, especially not without further discussion.”

Republican Councilmember Brianna Timbro hit back and reminded Zambrello that the Thin Blue Line flag existed long before BLM protests.

The measure failed 5-3 with one abstention.

The council, however, is not opposed to flying flags that not everyone agrees with.  The group already voted to fly a Pride Flag in commemoration of Pride Month.

In making an announcement to those gathered for an event to raise the Pride flag, they were told, “We have great respect for our law enforcement community and I realize the dangerous job they do every day. Out of respect for the tragic death of State Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier, we won’t be raising the Pride flag today; it is already up on the pole flying at half-staff in honor of his passing.”

She says that in honor of the fallen trooper they won’t be raising the pride flag today, “it’s already up at half staff in honor of his passing,”

The decision did not go over well and people shared their disgust on the town’s Facebook page. 

“They approve a sex flag but deny a police flag honoring a murdered Trooper. Shameful and Disgusting.”

“All of those on the town council who voted no to raise the thin blue line flag to show support for the CSP Trooper that was killed should be ashamed. I’m definitely going to remember this when it comes time to vote. Shameful cowards you are. Weak politicians are exactly why the pos who killed him were free to do so in the first place. What an absolute disgrace of a town.”

‘What disgusting behavior! The people who voted to not fly the blue line flag are hopefully voted out of office. When it comes time to vote, remember this.”

Pelletier died last week while performing a traffic stop on a state highway when a vehicle collided with Pelletier, his squad car, and the vehicle he had pulled over.  He sustained fatal injuries from the crash.

He is survived by his wife and two young children.

The driver, who initially fled from the scene, was arrested.

According to the Connecticut State Police, Alex Oyola-Sanchez, age 44, of Hartford, was charged with manslaughter/motor vehicle, among other charges, and is being held on a $5 million bond.
