The shadow space race for the Moon keeps unabated, with multiple countries sending probes and spaceships to Earth’s satellite, signaling a spike in interest on the economic exploration of the seemingly vast Lunar resources.

It now surfaces that China’s Chang’e 6 probe has returned to Earth today (25), carrying with it rock and soil samples from the virtually-unknown far side of the moon.

The probe landed safely back in the Mongolia region of China.

Associated Press reported:

“While past U.S. and Soviet missions have collected samples from the moon’s near side, the Chinese mission was the first to collect samples from the far side.

Chinese scientists anticipate the samples will include 2.5-million-year-old volcanic rock and other material that scientists hope will answer questions about differences between the moon’s two sides.”

The Moon side we get to see every night here from Planet Earth is called the ‘near side’ – and it so happens that the moon orbits us in a way in which this same side is always facing us.

The far side is always facing outer space.

“Missions to the far side are challenging and risky because mission controllers on Earth have no way of directly contacting a spacecraft in that region.

Instead, they must send signals through a satellite that orbits the moon — a Chinese satellite has been in lunar orbit since March, and it relayed information to the spacecraft on the lunar surface.”

The 53 days of the Chang’e 6 mission may fill the blanks of the mystery of the Dark Side of the Moon.

“Scientists have long been fascinated by the parts of the moon that permanently face away from our planet. The far side is known to have mountains and impact craters, contrasting with the relatively flat expanses visible on the near side. As such, samples from the far side could provide evidence of previously unstudied geological eras in the moon’s history, which could help researchers piece together how the solar system formed.”

What geologic activity is responsible for the differences between the two sides? This and many other questions will be addressed.

And they will yield geological data that you can bet will have economical repercussions.

The rapidly expanding Chinese Space Program did its first Lunar landing in 2013, and works towards a landing of Chinese astronauts on the moon surface by 2030.

Following a plea deal, Julian Assange was released Monday from prison in the United Kingdom and has since departed via plane. 

Assange is currently en-route to Saipan, a U.S. territory, where he will plead guilty. Following the plea and sentencing, Assange will be allowed to return to his home country of Australia as a free man. 

The plane, chartered by the Australian government, briefly stopped in Bangkok. Assange will owe the Australian government over half a million dollars to cover the cost once he has been released. Assange’s wife, Stella Assange, has asked for donations to cover the expense.

Stella published a statement about her husband’s release from prison in England, detailing that it had been 12 years to the day since Assange entered the Ecuadorian embassy in Britain, beginning the saga which would result in her husband’s detention in a high-security prison for the past five years. Stella added that “this period of our lives, I’m confident now, has come to an end,” and that “what starts now, with Julian’s freedom, is a new chapter.”

Commenting on the movement in favor of her husband, Stella said, “Throughout the years of Julian’s imprisonment and persecution, an incredible movement has been formed. People from all walks of life from around the world who support not just Julian…but what Julian stands for: truth and justice.”

In the 2024 presidential election, third-party and independent candidates are facing significant hurdles in their quest for ballot access. Candidates such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West have decided to create their own political parties to ease the stringent requirements for getting on the ballot in various states.

Kennedy, running under the “We the People” party, and West, initially planning to run with the Green Party before forming the “Justice for All” party, are leveraging the legal advantages that minor-party candidates have over independents. For example, in states like North Carolina, minor parties need only around 13,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot, whereas independents require over 83,000​.

So, there we have it: after months of our worrying and warning that the increasing US involvement in the war in Ukraine could lead to a direct confrontation against Russia, the two nuclear superpowers appear on the very edge of conflict.

Ukraine shot US-supplied ATACMS with cluster munitions over a Crimean beach filled with people enjoying their Holly Trinity holiday killing four people and injuring almost two hundred – many in critical condition.

This is specially ominous because it is widely alleged that the handling of this missile technology depends on the ‘help’ of ‘advisers’ – American Ones.

Not only that, but the selection of targets is done using satellite and drone imaging provided by the US to its Ukrainian allies.

So the immediate repercussions are Russia warning of a response, while unconfirmed rumors say a Russian Mig-31 jet would have downed a US Reaper surveillance UAV over the Black Sea.

The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the US ambassador to protest the use of U.S.-made advanced missiles in the Ukrainian attack on the Crimean beach.

Associated Press reported:

“Washington ‘has effectively become a party’ to the war on Ukraine’s side, the ministry said in a statement, adding, ‘Retaliatory measures will certainly follow’. It did not elaborate.”

The Pentagon authorized Ukraine’s military to use its longer-range missiles to strike targets inside Russia ‘if it is acting in self-defense’.

One is hard-pressed to think this beach attack fulfills this description.

“Russian authorities said that the dead in Sunday’s attack included two children who were hit by falling debris from Ukrainian missiles that were shot down over a coastal area in Sevastopol, a port city in Crimea. It said cluster munitions, which critics say harm more civilians than combatants, were also used.

[…] The targeting and ‘mission input’ for such missile attacks is carried out by U.S. military experts, the ministry statement alleged, saying the United States bears “equal responsibility for this outrage” with the Ukrainian authorities.

It went on to say that ‘allowing strikes deep inside the Russian territory will not be left unanswered’.”

Meanwhile, a flurry of rumors – most likely false ones – say that a Russian fighter jet shot down a U.S. military drone – described either as either an MQ-9 Reaper or an MQ-4C ‘Triton’, over the Black Sea airspace.

These claims come from Russian media outlets closely affiliated with the country’s military, and more than just simple hoaxes, they precisely indicate what’s next in store.

There has been no official confirmation from the Russian Ministry of Defense or the U.S. Department of Defense.

“In response to the Russian media allegations, pro-Western military social media accounts claim that the U.S. drone merely switched off its transponder while operating in the Black Sea.

They state that flight tracking applications showed that upon returning from the Black Sea operation, the U.S. drone reactivated its transponder, indicating a safe landing at Sigonella Air Base in Sicily, Italy.”

Sputnik had retired senior US security analyst Michael Maloof describing what many feel will happen now.

“The fact that a drone was there providing the intelligence and data, and the use of ATACMS missiles, which requires US participation, clearly shows the escalation by the United States now. […] I think [Russian President Vladimir Putin] is going to start taking out these drones. I suspect that this will be his way of responding to the US escalation, by escalating against those instruments used by the United States to help pinpoint targets.”

Former Vice President Mike Pence is very unhappy about Julian Assange’s release from prison.

Assange, who had been imprisoned in the United Kingdom for the last five years after spending seven years in the Ecuadorian Embassy, reached a plea deal with the Justice Department that will allow him to return to his native Australia.

Details have emerged about two individuals at the heart of an FBI political corruption investigation in Oakland, California, which saw the raid of Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao’s home last week.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that FBI agents raided a home owned by Democrat Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao. An FBI spokesperson told the press that agents were conducting “court-authorized law enforcement” at Thao’s property.

The focus of the investigation is on David Duong, CEO of California Waste Solutions, and his son, Andy Duong. Both have deep-seated ties to Democratic politicians and businesses, NBC Bay Area reported.

Their business dealings and political connections are under intense scrutiny following evidence that suggests they orchestrated a complex scheme to circumvent campaign finance laws and funnel illegal donations to various Democratic candidates.

A quick look at Andy Duong’s Instagram page reveals frequent posts with high-profile figures in the political world – including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Gavin Newsom, Attorney General Rob Bonta, and Health and Human Services Secretary and former state Attorney General Xavier Becerra. The list also includes elected leaders from other states such as Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford, according to abc7 News.

According to an investigation by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), a state oversight body, “Andy Duong was the true source of at least 93 contributions to multiple local campaign committees when he created a campaign contribution laundering scheme to benefit his family-owned company, California Waste Solutions.” The report alleges that Duong used intermediaries or straw donors instead of disclosing CWS as the true source of the contributions.

According to the FPPC, this is an ongoing investigation with evidence suggesting it started around 2016 through 2018 and included some campaign contributions that were fraudulently concealed from the public.

The FPPC says all but one of the campaign committees targeted were in jurisdictions with local contribution limits. The investigation found that during this time, the city of Oakland prohibited campaign contributions from contractors providing services to the city, requiring approval from the city council.

Yet, documents show many of the targeted committees were candidates running for city council.

For example, Sheng Thao running for City Council in 2018 received $9,900 from Duong that the FPPC alleges was laundered through 13 different people.

According to the FPPC:

Larry Reid also received $5,600 allegedly laundered through eight different entities.
Dan Kalb received $4,200 allegedly laundered through six different people or entities.
Rebecca Kaplan received $3,500 allegedly laundered through seven people.
Former Councilmember Desley Brooks received $18,700 over two campaign cycles, allegedly laundered through 24 people.
Former Councilmember Abel Guillen, who’s currently California’s Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction, received $4,200 allegedly laundered through 12 people.

Last month, Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed with the boxes containing “classified” documents they seized from Trump and can’t be sure the order or the placement of the documents.

The DOJ previously assured the Court that the placement of classified documents as originally found had been maintained – THEY LIED!

The DOJ in August 2022 lied to the Court when they claimed the red, blue and yellow sheets shown in the viral photo of the classified documents indicated their classification status.

“After the boxes were brought to WFO, the FBI created an index to correlate the documents with classification markings to codes (e.g., document “bb”) and labeled the classified cover sheets in the boxes with the codes for the seized documents. The FBI also generally replaced the handwritten sheets with classified cover sheets annotated with the index code, but regardless, any handwritten sheets that currently remain in the boxes do not represent additional classified documents—they were just not removed when the classified cover sheets with the index code were added. In many but not all instances, the FBI was able to determine which document with classification markings corresponded to a particular placeholder sheet.”

“The sheriff said Detroit police and Michigan State Police quickly responded to the area and set up a perimeter. Three suspects were taken into custody,” Fox 2 Detroit reported.

Sherriff Deputy Reckling leaves behind his pregnant wife of 8 years, 30-year-old Jacqueline, and 3 young daughters. Jacqueline and Bradley were living on a farm they had recently purchased where they planned to raise their 4 children.

The murdered Sheriff Deputy Bradley Reckling’s wife, Jacqueline, bravely appeared on Fox & Friends to talk about the murder of her husband. While Steve Doocy and Lawrence Jones asked Jacqueline several questions, Ashley Earhardt remained silent. When asked by Jones why Jacqueline wanted to make a public statement on their show, she explained that she wanted everyone to know what a good person her husband was, telling the hosts, “He was the rock of our family.”

Ainsley Earhardt appeared to be struggling while Jacqueline told the hosts what her husband meant to her and to her children. And we imagined spending the rest of our lives with…”

In a sweet gesture to help his fellow Fox & Friends host maintain her composure, Lawrence Jones placed his hand on Earnhardt’s back. The Fox & Friends host continued, “…that one person…and by the grace of God, you found your one person, and now he’s gone.

And now you have to raise these 3 beautiful girls on your own. And I’m so sorry,” she said, as she hung her head, crying. Ainsley then explained how Tunnels to Towers, an amazing group that received so much support from Rush Limbaugh while he was alive, would be paying off her entire mortgage.

The grieving widow began to cry as she appeared to connect with Earhardt’s sincere reaction to her grief.

Former President Obama’s sister said she was tear gassed during a protest in Nairobi, where she was demonstrating against controversial finance legislation.

Auma Obama, a Kenyan activist and half-sister of the former president, was tear gassed before speaking to CNN during a protest in the country on Monday.

Widespread protests have gripped Kenya ovder legislation that would impose more taxes on its citizens, according to The Associated Press (AP).

“I can’t even see anymore, we’re being tear gassed,” Obama told CNN as she rubbed her face with a towel.
She said she could not believe that protesters were being tear gassed, adding that “young people are just trying to demonstrate for their rights.”

After hundreds of protestors attempted to storm Kenya’s parliament over opposition to a $2.7 billion tax hike, at least eight people have been shot dead by police, and the parliament is in flames.

According to Reuters, police opened fire on demonstrators after they broke through police barricades on Tuesday and stormed the country’s parliament complex.

Inside the building, politicians passed legislation to raise taxes by $2.7 billion.

In addition to those killed, reports suggest at least 50 additional people have been wounded.

Kenyan media outlet KTN TV said it has been threatened with a black-out by the government if it continues to cover the protests but vows they “shall not be cowed by any threats.”
