Republican Senator T.J. Shope, chair of the Arizona Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee, has been vocal in demanding accountability. While hard-working everyday Americans are suffering in Joe Biden’s economy,  a luxury high-rise homeless shelter celebrated its grand opening in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday at a cost to taxpayers of an estimated $600,000 per unit.

The Weingart Center Tower, which cost an estimated $168 million to build, includes 228 studio apartments, 47 one-bedroom apartments, and three apartments dedicated to onsite managers.

The residents will have access to onsite amenities, including a gym, an art room, music room, cafe, pool, and a library.

The LA Times reports:

Besides a floor of offices for case workers, conference rooms and property managers, the tower boasts a gym, an art room, a soundproofed music room, a computer room/library, a TV lounge, six common balconies, four of them with dog runs, and a ground floor cafe with a two-story glass wall facing a courtyard.

The music and art rooms were included to facilitate programming by outside organizations.

Each room — 228 studios and 50 one-bedroom apartments — has its own TV, and the cafe will also bring residents together on movie nights.

The $165-million project will receive permanent financing from Proposition HHH, state housing funds and $56 million in state tax credits. The cost, at just under $600,000 per unit, puts it at the high end of Proposition HHH projects but well below the most expensive.

Fox 11 reports that this will be the first of three towers. The second tower is set to open in 18 months, while the third is in its development stage.

Stunning percentage of kids with transgender feelings ‘grow out of it’

Yet another study has confirmed the scientifically supportable but politically blasphemous belief that most children who report transgender feelings actually, if left alone, grow out of them.

The New York Post reports that confirmation comes from a “transgender expert.”

It reveals Riittakerttu Kaltiala, psychiatrist who presided over youth gender transition treatments for years, confirmed 80% of those children who question their gender “eventually accept their bodies if no medical interventions are carried out.”

Kaltiala is a leading scientist regarding pediatric gender medicine in Finland and operates at the country’s largest gender clinic.

In an interview with a publication, Helsingin Sanomal, she said 12 separate studies support that statement.

The report suggested the comments are part of a revelation that liberals “are not in lockstep when it comes to transgender issues,” as the New York Times alspo recently published an op-ed defending writer J.K.Rowling’s comments on transgenderism.

The interview included Kaltiala’s caution to parents of gender-questioning children against using their offspring’s preferred pronouns or a new chosen name, because that is an “intervention” that could influence the child.

In America, instructions for teachers to use a child’s “chosen” pronouns are common, and often include orders that prevent them from sharing that information with a child’s parents.

But those name and pronoun alternations are “a message saying that ‘this is the right path for you,’” she said.

“The developmental mission of youth is not helped by the fact that young people’s self-expression is supported and directed from the outside,” she added. “The environment should also not commit to identity experiments in a way that might make a later change of direction anxiety-inducing.”

She debunked the oft-used threats by pro-LGBT advocates that children quickly resort to suicide if their gender agenda is stalled.

“It is not justified to tell the parents of young people identifying as transgender that a young person is at risk of suicide without medical treatments and that the danger can be alleviated with gender reassignment,” she said.

That, actually, she charged, is “purposeful disinformation.”

She especially expressed concern over those who start questioning themselves in adolescence, because of their ability to “grab the idea available in the media and social media that their problems are caused by gender identity.”

That endorses the explanations from Abigail Shrier, who wrote “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing our Daughters,” and said “peer contagion” could be responsible for the surge in adolescents with such problems.

The New York-based Komodo Health estimated 42,000 children and teens in the U.S. got a diagnoses of “gender dysphoria”” in 2021.

WND reported only weeks earlier on a similar conclusion from a study in the Netherlands.

In direct opposition to the suspect claims of transgender activists that children who are “gender-confused” must have medical “care” that goes up to and includes surgical body mutilations, that 15-year study confirmed that most of those kids, if left alone, “grow out of it.”

A report from the Daily Mail confirms the study results show that “being trans is usually just a phase for kids.”

The report explained, “Researchers in the Netherlands tracked more than 2,700 children from age 11 to their mid-twenties, asking them every three years of feelings about their gender. Results showed at the start of the research, around one-in-10 children (11 percent) expressed ‘gender non-contentedness’ to varying degrees.”

However, by age 25 only 4% said they “often” or even “sometimes” were discontent with gender.

“The results of the current study might help adolescents to realize that it is normal to have some doubts about one’s identity and one’s gender identity during this age period and that this is also relatively common,” the study found.

Under the openly radical push by Joe Biden and his administration, the transgender ideology has exploded in popularity over the last few years.

Multiple federal moves have insisted that transgender “rights” supersede even the U.S. Constitution and that chemicals to alter physical characteristics and even surgical mutilations of healthy bodies is normal, even beneficial.

The study prompted Patrick Brown, of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, to tell the Mail, “This study provides even more reason to be skeptical towards aggressive steps to facilitate gender transition in childhood and adolescence. The fact that rates of satisfaction are lower even just a few years later suggests that for the vast majority of people, prudence and caution, rather than a rush towards permanent surgeries or hormone therapies, will be the best approach for teenagers struggling to make sense of the world and their place in it.”

He noted the evidence suggests policies that ban gender transition for children “make a great deal of sense.”

The researchers, from the University of Groningen, noted their analysis of 2,770 people did not focus specifically on those in treatment for dysphoria.

The study asked participants to respond to: “I wish to be of the opposite sex” at six points over 15 years. The results, documented in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, confirmed 78% had the same feelings about their gender over the 15 years.

Nineteen percent became more content and only 2% were “less comfortable,” the report said.

The study found, too, “Gender non-contentedness, while being relatively common during early adolescence, in general decreases with age and appears to be associated with a poorer self-concept and mental health throughout development.”

In fact, the polls are ‘beyond the Tories’ wildest nightmares’ as even Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is set to become the first sitting Prime Minister to lose his seat.

Three relevant polls (YouGov, Savanta and More in Common) confirm Conservative right on track for disaster – their worst ever result.

Daily Mail reported:

“One cabinet minister told The Times: ‘Colleagues are understandably concerned about their area but some of these projections are beyond people’s wildest nightmares.’

Another said: ‘The country has made a fundamental decision overall. Anything that is said about tax or anything else is ignored. There is no way of sorting this. You don’t give up locally. But there is no quick fix to this’.”

Many current Cabinet ministers would also lose their seats, including Jeremy Hunt and Grant Shapps.

Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman is equally on track to be voted out.

“Luke Tryl, executive director of More in Common UK, said: ‘The fact that this projection showing the Conservatives barely holding 150 seats is one of the most favorable to the Conservatives shows how deep a hole the party finds itself in – with barely two weeks to go for them to change the dial.

‘Labour on the other hand look set to inherit a historic majority while still remaining largely undefined in the eyes of the electorate’.”

A separate Survation poll suggests Reform Party’s Nigel Farage may pull off a stunning win in Clacton, as desperate Tories urge Sunak to attack him.

“The Brexit champion has admitted he cannot win this election, but insisted he wants to supplant the Tories as the real opposition – and is aiming to be PM by 2029.”

In a recent interview on “Choppin’ It Up with Quon,” comedian Marlon Wayans (Quon) did not hold back as he took a jab at Nathan Wade, the former special prosecutor hired by his lover, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, to go after President Trump.

From the moment the interview began, it was clear that Nathan Wade was in for a wild ride.

Wayans wasted no time diving into the heart of the controversy surrounding Wade’s affair with Fani Willis.

Wayans: Yo, what’s up? Welcome to Choppin’ It Up with ‘Quon. This is me. You know what I’m saying? I’m here giving the real questions that the real people want to know. Today, I got my man Nathan Wade. Looking smooth. What was your first thought when your affair with Fani Willis came to public light?

Wade: I don’t label it. It’s not an affair.

Wade: Ms. Willis is a respectable mother, a brilliant legal mind. We spent countless hours preparing this case, investigating.

Despite Wade’s attempts to downplay the relationship, referring to Willis as a “respectable mother” and a “brilliant legal mind,” Wayans wasn’t buying it and continued to poke fun at the situation.

Wayans’ humor was on full display as he painted vivid and exaggerated scenarios, such as insinuating that the countless hours spent together in preparation for legal cases naturally led to more intimate encounters. He joked about foot rubs turning into desk-bound escapades, much to Wade’s discomfort.

A disturbing find on a broken-down bus led to the arrest of one man and the rescue of dozens of abused animals.

Pennsylvania’s Eastern Adams Regional Police Department discovered the converted school bus disabled and stuck in traffic Saturday, according to WPMT-TV in York. Officers ran the identification of the driver, Shawn Hirschbine, and arrested him on an outstanding warrant out of West Virginia.

Authorities then searched the bus and a trailer it was pulling, uncovering a disgusting situation that nobody expected.

According to WPMT, nearly 40 animals were found crammed in squalid living conditions.

Dogs, ducks, chickens, turkeys, a bull and a pony were all eventually rescued from the bus and trailer.

Despite the menagerie of domesticated animals, this was by no means a tranquil farm scene.

The live chickens were being used to feed the dogs, three German shepherds and an Australian shepherd, according to the Adams County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Most disturbing of all, the pony and bull were suspected of being used for bestiality.

The Adams SPCA took responsibility for the menagerie and, after storing them overnight in the bus, was working to help the animals recover.

Hirschbine had a similar encounter with authorities in 2022 and was arrested and charged with multiple crimes against animals, according to the SPCA.

In that incident, police in Orchard Park, New York, found animals under Hirschbine’s care to be in horrendous condition. Sheep, a cow and a horse were discovered crammed into a filthy trailer without even enough room to lie down.

These animals, along with a chicken and four dogs, were then rescued.

Once the Adams SPCA discovered Hirschbine’s history, the group immediately knew it needed to check the newly rescued creatures for human DNA.

“Knowing what we know about this individual … and his past crimes, we felt it necessary to do testing on several of the animals to check for human DNA,” the group wrote on Facebook. “Even though this is going to cost us about $10,000 we feel it’s necessary to do everything we can to get justice for the animals.”

The animal protection group then made an even more disturbing allegation against Hirschbine.

“The dogs were being fed the chickens and the bull and pony were being used for bestiality purposes (in another state). I’m not going to go into a lot of detail because as I said, it’s been a really hard day,” the post said. “This is not something we see everyday and it’s not something we ever want to see again.”

The Adams SPCA temporarily closed its doors to deal with the unexpected influx of abused animals.

While none of the animals is up for adoption, the group asked the public for donations to help care for the new arrivals.

Congresswoman Mary Kaptur’s (D-OH) communications director, Ben Kamens, took to X last night to brag about his student loans being paid.  Kamens posted a photo of a letter stating,

“Congratulations!  The Biden-Harris Administration has forgiven your federal student loan(s) listed below with Nelnet in full.”

The letter lists two loans totaling $8,250 from 2010 as the “forgiven” loans.

In July 2023, the United States Supreme Court struck down the “Biden-Harris Administrations” attempt to “forgive” student loans, or rather, to transfer that debt to everyone else via taxes.  In Biden v. Nebraska, Chief Justice John Roberts opined in the 6-3 decision, “characterizing the decision as a straightforward interpretation of federal law,” according to SCOTUSblog.com:

Holding: The Secretary of Education does not have authority under the Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students Act of 2003 to establish a student loan forgiveness program that will cancel roughly $430 billion in debt principal and affect nearly all borrowers.

Even former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went on the record after the decision stating:

“People think that the President has the power for debt forgiveness.  He does not.  He can postpone.  He can delay.  But he does not have that power.  That has to be an act of Congress.“

The one time Nancy Pelosi didn’t deceive the American people with drunk lies as she states Joe Biden does NOT have the power to cancel student loans.

That didn’t stop “The Biden-Harris Administration” from circumventing the Supreme Court’s ruling and ignoring criticism of the former Democrat leader of the House and reallocating more than $146 billion to forgive the loans of more than 4 million Americans who were contractually obligated to pay for a service they received.

Rep. Mary Kaptur’s communications director Ben Kamens took to X to brag about this forgiveness.  In doing so, he left his personally identifiable information unredacted on the post that has more than 14 million views at the time of this writing.

Far-left Attorney and Russian hoaxer Marc Elias

Marc Elias was Hillary’s attorney in her failed attempt to win the Presidential election in 2016. He later became famous for his work for the Democrat Party, ensuring that American elections are questionable and untrustworthy.

Elias traveled the nation and engaged in numerous actions and lawsuits in an effort to establish mail-in ballots and ballot drop boxes. These efforts allowed the Democrat Party to drop off ballots in the election that were not validated on where they came from (i.e., millions of ballots lacked chain of custody documentation) or from who they came from (i.e., signature checks were not performed).

This open election strategy helped Joe Biden and the Democrats steal the 2020 Election.

Marc Elias has been involved in dozens of lawsuits to make it easier for Democrats to steal elections.

Then in 2022, Marc Elias told MSNBC that the results in the midterm elections would not be known for days.  This is the line they use when you know Democrats are going for another steal.

In May, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled 7-0 in favor of a voter ID ballot initiative.

Now, Marc Elias is hoping to overturn a Nevada election law that forces election administrators to clean up the voter rolls.

Why would Marc Elias and the Democrats be against this?

The Federalist reported:

Bogus Russian dossier peddler and Democrat Party problem fixer Marc Elias has again injected himself into a key election integrity case to “defend the broken status quo.”

Swing-state Nevada’s dirty voter rolls include hundreds of suspect addresses, at bars, strip clubs, empty parking lots, and other commercial addresses, according to an investigation by the Public Interest Legal Foundation. Doing so is clearly against the law.

“In Nevada, by the state law, you are required to be registered where you actually live, where you sleep. Not where you work, not at a P.O. Box. So we’re trying to get elections officials to enforce the law,” Lauren Bis, PILF’s director of communication and engagement, says in a video tracking bad addresses in the Las Vegas area.

To that end, the foundation has filed a petition in Washoe County, Nevada’s second-most populous county, to force elections officials to investigate and fix commercial addresses on the voter roll. PILF investigators found addresses on the rolls reported as liquor stores, empty lots, and even the Nevada Gaming Control Board, among others.

Elias Law Group and a band of leftists have sought to intervene in PILF’s petition for a writ of mandamus, arguing that forcing Washoe election administrators to follow the law and clean up the county’s dirty voter rolls will “threaten” voting rights.

For the record, Nevada is still a member of ERIC, a shady group linked to the left that is a blight on this country’s elections.

We knew this was going to be a difficult process for our company, but we had no idea what the Biden DOJ had prepared for us.

Today, we can confirm that the Joe Biden and Merrick Garland Department of Justice have intervened in our Chapter 11 case.

According to our source, the Department of Justice spoke to the trustee assigned to our case and is pressuring this man to make sure our Chapter 11 efforts fail.

The past two weeks The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft sat through a two 341 hearing sessions in Florida with US trustee Martin Ochs. According to AllLaw.com, the trustee’s job is to check your identity, review your paperwork for accuracy, and ensure your creditors get paid as much as possible. The trustee may evaluate your assets and property and verify your reported income. The trustee will also look for unreported income and property, as well as signs of bankruptcy fraud.

AllLaw.com says that in most cases, the 341 hearing ends after ten minutes or less.

Last Thursday, The Gateway Pundit’s owner, Jim Hoft, attended the first 341 hearing. Trial Attorney Martin Ochs with the US Department of Justice presided over the hearing.

What was expected to last 10-20 minutes lasted two hours! Mr. Ochs harassed and abused The Gateway Pundit owner. Ochs belittled, attacked, and questioned Hoft nearly the entire time.

Part 2 of the 341 hearing took place on Tuesday morning. Mr. Ochs was even more hostile during this session. He continued to harass, bully, and intimidate Hoft for another two hours.

Ochs lectured Hoft at the end of this two-hour session and berated Hoft and his legal team.

Again, this is a process that normally lasts around 10 minutes!

The Gateway Pundit can now report that we learned through an anonymous source that Mr. Ochs was pressured by the Biden DOJ to prevent TGP Communications from proceeding with this Chapter 11 bankruptcy. And, he did his best to follow the orders from above!

After the session was finally over, attorneys told Hoft that they had never seen Ochs behave in such an abusive manner and that Ochs had participated in dozens of lawsuits in the Florida district.

Following the 341 meeting Attorney John Burns told The Gateway Pundit that there were at least 15 individuals on this call. We were only able to identify 11 of the attorneys who sat in on the hearing. We have no idea who the other people were who had joined the hearing.

Less than 24 hours later the mainstream liberal media had already posted a hit piece on Jim Hoft, his twin brother Joe Hoft, and The Gateway Pundit. The media used quotes from the hearing in their report. We are not even sure who leaked this information. Does Attorney Ochs know?

This brings us to the obvious question: what is the DOJ so worried about?

Why are they so threatened by The Gateway Pundit?

Why do they not want the truth of the Ruby and Shae late-night ballot drop incident to make its way into a courtroom? What are they worried about?

We believe we know the answer.

It is also disconcerting that the DOJ is targeting The Gateway Pundit at the same time that the US Supreme Court is set to rule on the Murthy v. Missouri (Missouri v. Biden) case, the most important free speech case in a century, any day now. The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft is one of the lead plaintiffs in this important constitutional case.
