Donald Trump is a man spiritually from the Gilded Age. From his taste in gold leaf and massive buildings, to his outrightly abrasive no-nonsense persona, to his interest in tariffs, to his domestic social liberalism and hedonism, to his Fortress America ideas pertaining to trade and immigration, he is a man from an earlier century. He is, in a strangely anachronistic way, reminiscent of the men who built the greatest industrial superpower in the cusp of the late nineteenth century.

The cognoscenti fail to understand his appeal to the masses for the simple reason: they don’t understand what an elite from an earlier era would have been like in our unmanly age of interconnectedness and internationalism. It is no coincidence that Great Man Theory was the most prevalent causal theory of history in the late 19th century—the quote “history is the biography of great men” etched in one of the Library of Congress windows—a theory that slowly lost its importance in the academy to the rise of amorphous, unaccountable structuralism, and to wars, and time. 

Blond wispy hair, an ear dripping red, a white shirt, and a navy blue jacket—Trump had better reflexes than most men of advanced age, and gave us a moment for history. He got up, and barked at the secret service with a hoary voice of a momentarily shaken man, “Let me get my shoes.” And then there was that instinct: “Wait, wait, wait,” he said, and then, despite the hapless servicemen around him trying to protect his head from the line of sight of a potential second sniper, he raised a fist and shouted three times, “Fight.” 

There was no Teddy Rooseveltian speech (“it takes more than that to kill a bull moose”). The forces and protocols of our time do not allow that. But the image was every bit Rooseveltian in every pixel showing every drop of Trump’s blood. 

True leaders are often products of circumstances. Fortitude does not reside in every leader of men. “The freaks of chance are not determinable by calculation,” as Thucydides wrote. Donald Trump, whatever fate bestows upon him in November, marked himself as a proverbial “great man of history” in the images that will live for posterity and will guide this country to whatever destiny is in front of it in the coming centuries.

America was shocked when America’s Favorite President, Donald J. Trump, narrowly missed having the back of his head blown off by a sniper on Saturday evening.

This attempted political assassination of a Presidential candidate is the first attempt on a candidate since RFK Jr. was killed, likely by his own security detail, in 1968, and when Alabama Governor George Wallace was shot and paralyzed in 1972. It’s the first time a former President has been shot since Teddy Roosevelt in 1912.

Multiple eyewitnesses claim that they approached the Secret Service at the event and complained that a man with a rifle was climbing around on the roof. The man, whom some media is reporting as Thomas Crooks, took multiple shots at Trump and then was killed by a Secret Service sniper.

While many have praised the Secret Service, some have also noted that the while the Agents appeared to have the assassin in view, they waited for him to take his shots at Trump, and then took a shot at him, killing the assassin with a headshot that ensured he would never explain who, if anyone, had put him up to the vicious act of political violence.

Shamefully, the mainstream media misreported the story. CNN tried to claim that Trump ‘fell’ on stage and that the event had ‘loud noises’ that shut it down. Many reported that in areas like Times Square, none of the television screens were reporting the news that Trump had been nearly assassinated.

The timing of the assassination attempt was very suspicious. Tucker Carlson and others had predicted that the elites in America would try to kill Trump. The left has made a boogeyman out of Trump since 2016. Just last week, the cover of the New Republic took it to new levels of hyperbole in equating Trump to Hitler.

Trump haters who had called him ‘literally Hitler’ and a ‘tyrant’ and blamed him for ‘being a threat to democracy‘ and claimed for years that he was engaged in “Russian collusion” found the decently to ‘wish him a speedy recovery.’ Joe Biden said he wished Trump well after two hours, as did former President Barack Obama and far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Ideologues on both the right and left began blaming words and ‘rhetoric’ for the assassination attempt.

Today is not just some isolated incident.

The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs.

That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.

Some pointed to charged words by Joe Biden about “putting Trump in the bullseye.”

But words alone don’t create an assassin, and don’t put plans in place that can carry out an act of violence like this. And most importantly, mere words don’t have the power to undertake an action like this and get away with it.

Many have already noted that it is unlikely that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will appropriately investigate and solve this crime. The FBI has become notoriously politicized, and has been caught acting as the political enforcement arm of the Biden White House. In addition, the FBI has been caught setting up crimes such as in the Whitmer Kidnapping Hoax, as well as the thousand-plus political prosecutions of January 6th protesters who, for many, their only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The FBI has also suspiciously covered up the Las Vegas shooting, claimed incredulously that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself, and can’t find the January 6th pipe bomb suspect even though they have plenty of evidence to identify the individual.

The same bureau that investigated the Las Vegas shooting and the January 6th pipe bombs is now investigating the attempted assassination of Trump.

This is also the same bureau that raided Mar-a-Lago.

The most important part of an operation is maintaining the ability to protect and preserve the people involved from any scrutiny. The conspirators must never get caught.

One classic way for detectives to assess a crime and determine suspects is by figuring out who had the ‘means, motive, and opportunity’ to commit the crime.

Who would have had the motivation, means, and opportunity to kill Trump?

Who would have been able to coordinate this attempted murder so that the sniper could get into position without being harassed or noticed, and would be allowed to take the shots necessary to make an attempt on Trump’s life. In addition, who could be trusted to have a clean background and social media history so that they would not connect to anyone in the intelligence community or other rivals for power against Trump such as Biden or establishment Republicans.

The list of available entities capable of such action is short. It reveals much about modern politics and the powerful interests currently aligned against President Trump.

Here are those powerful interests:

Left-wing Billionaires Angry that Biden Won’t Resign. Left-wing billionaires have been in a panic since the Trump-Biden debate after the world saw up close that Joe Biden is a severe dementia patient. In what was a ‘right wing conspiracy theory’ just a few weeks prior, now the media and elites recognized that they could not hide Biden’s cognitive failures any longer, but it is legally too late to easily and simply change out Biden on the nation’s ballots. Biden resigning risks many battleground states simply not having him on the ballot. These wealthy and powerful individuals, who own media outlets and exercise their power through the non-profit world, were able to float the removal of Trump’s Secret Service detail through far-left Congressmen last month. They have billions of dollars at stake, in addition to the vast networks of individuals they have ready to staff and populate the government. These billionaires were able to get their pet District Attorneys and U.S. Attorneys to prosecute Trump for invented charges in New York and Florida. They were able to get the Colorado legislature to try and remove Trump from the ballot, hoping to set a precedent where leftists in power could make a one-option-only ballot.
The Bureaucratic Deep State. The Obama elites were caught spying on Trump’s campaign and faced zero repercussions or fallout. Major criminal activity by Deep Staters like Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Lois Lerner, went ignored and unprosecuted. Massive ongoing political imprisonment of peaceful January 6th protesters, the legal harassment of pro-Trump political prisoners like Cong. Steve Stockman whose sentence Trump commuted or Arkansas State Senator Jon Woods who is still sitting in federal prison, is ongoing. The Deep State, aged remnants of the Franklin D. Roosevelt coalition that came into power in 1933, is willing to lie, cheat, steal, and murder in order to get its way. The Deep State draws much of its power from its relationship with the intelligence community and its rampant lawlessness and criminality. The Deep State was willing to invent the Mueller investigation, the bogus “Russian collusion” fantasy storyline, and impeach Trump twice over nothing.
Ukraine, EU, NATO, Welfare Queens. Trump has been skeptical of the ongoing War in Ukraine, and has been critical about how it has been handled. Trump claims that he could settle the war overnight by making a great deal with Putin. Zelensky and his band of gangsters, busy plundering the country and sending its citizens off to die for no reason, want to continue taking billions. Many American political families, including the Bidens, Mitt Romney, among others, have been found to have extensive financial arrangements with Ukraine. Trump has also openly discussed withdrawing from NATO and ending the massive American subsidy towards European defense. There are billions of dollars at stake in such changes.
The Military-Industrial Complex. Trump is the greatest peace President America has ever had. Instead of start any wars, Trump instead ended them all. Trump found a quick solution to ISIS in Syria by stopping the covert funding of ISIS by the U.S. intelligence community. Trump found that winding down conflicts like Afghanistan was easier than making promises to stay there forever with a blank check. Trump sought a smart peace with Russia. Trump was even trying to make peace with North Korea. These efforts threatened not just the annual defense spending by America, but also the entire economics of the global defense industry.
The Communist Chinese and their many financial tentacles. The Chinese are busy in America trying to hold down America’s energy industry, and promoting dead-end renewable energy technologies that they substantially own, and have a major monopoly in rare earth minerals critical to the production of more renewables. The Chinese have bought their way into many American billionaires through investments, including the Betsy DeVos family, half of whose family income comes from sales in China each year. The Chinese are also trying to build semiconductor plants in America, to be staffed by Chinese labor, using tax dollars to subsidize their companies. The Chinese hate Trump and the Trump agenda.
Foreign Governments. Steve Mnuchin and Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretaries under Trump and Biden agree on one thing: cater and kowtow to Arab States so that they can get them as clients after leaving office, soliciting the financial business for their multi-billion sovereign wealth funds. Many foreign governments are invested in America, and have lucrative trade contracts that would be put in jeopardy by a Trump Administration. As well, the Israeli government has ongoing pressure operations and is widely thought to be the patron of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell. These smaller states might take a drastic action like an assassination in order to curry enough favor with the Biden administration to get something very valuable. Many of these foreign governments are hostile to Trump, because Trump clearly cares about America and Americans first.
Big Business. For the first time ever, every single Fortune 100 company has said they refuse to endorse or support President Trump. Big Business has announced itself the mortal enemy of populist conservatism, having gone completely woke in pursuit of hedge fund investment from firms like BlackRock and State Street, who push radical DEI agendas, in addition to other reforms of corporate operations. The left, working for over 20 years, has infiltrated the board rooms of American big business and turned it solidly against its most natural allies and defenders. Big Business likes low wages enabled by open borders, it likes regulations that strangle their competitors, and it likes compliant politicians who do what they’re told. Trump is a major threat to their petit monopolies throughout the American economy.

Donald Trump Jr. has blamed the Biden campaign’s messaging for the assassination attempt on his father.

In a post to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Trump Jr. shared examples of extreme rhetoric about the former president coming from the current administration.

First, Trump Jr. shared a screenshot of Biden’s post from June 28, which read:

“Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for.”

He also shared Biden’s post from July 5, which read:

“Justice Sotomayor warned us in her dissent that, based on the majority decision, Trump could take out his opponents, take bribes, and lead a coup while president—and be immune to being held accountable. He really could become the dictator that he promised to be on day one.”

Trump Jr. added, “Don’t tell me they didn’t know exactly what they were doing with this crap. Calling my dad a ‘dictator’ and a ‘threat to Democracy’ wasn’t some one off comment. It has been the *MAIN MESSAGE* of the Biden-Kamala campaign and Democrats across the country!!!”

George Stephanopoulos on Sunday reacted to the news that President Trump was shot in a failed assassination attempt, ignoring the divisiveness and violent rhetoric from the left and claiming, “President Trump and his supporters have contributed to this violent rhetoric as well.” 

Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz, in the clip below, discussed the attempted assassination with Stephanopoulos and said that no matter what, “you are going to hear conspiracy theories going forward.” Just like we did after the JFK assassination, right?

They couldn’t take Trump out with lawfare and criminal charges, and now Trump has been shot two days before the RNC convention, where he will accept the Republican Party Nomination for President of the United States. It’s oddly suspicious that the leading presidential candidate was almost murdered last night in front of tens of thousands of supporters and millions watching at home as he faces off against Joe Biden, a man who can’t string a sentence together and has weaponized the government against political opponents and dissidents since day one in office.

Here’s a clip of Democrat media personalities, celebrities, and politicians fear-mongering, calling for violence, and even calling for Trump’s assassination over the years:

Of course, if random Trump supporters or Republican politicians said this about Biden, we would expect the media to drop all coverage of Biden’s troubles and run this story wall-to-wall to rescue his campaign. But it’s always different when Democrats make vile statements.

Here’s another clip of Joe Biden, in his blood-red-themed 2022 dictator-style speech, warning about the dangers of “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” who he said are a “clear and present danger” and enemies of the state. The clip is set alongside Democrats rioting and assaulting people they disagree with:

Why should we believe the Democrats didn’t play a role in this or at least inspire it with their violent rhetoric?

The left always blames Donald Trump’s so-called “violent rhetoric,” but we haven’t seen any attempted assassination of a top Democrat.

Still, Raddatz and Stephanopoulos told their audience that Trump and his supporters are responsible, citing several statements Trump has made and the left misrepresented. Of course, they continued lying about what Trump said, including his comments about a “bloodbath,” which was hyperbole to represent what Biden’s policies will do to our country. It’s also true in a literal sense when applied to what is happening as a result of the murderers and rapists that Democrats are allowing to kill innocent Americans.

Raddatz further ranted about January 6, which will likely be brought up even more now as the truth about violent Democrats is brought to the forefront. Donald Trump Jr., early this morning, called everyone still talking about January 6 “full of sh*t!!!!”

Raddatz: Also George we have to point out, no matter who the shooter, what the shooter’s motives were, no matter who the shooter is, you are going to hear conspiracy theories going forward.

Stephanopoulos: No question about that. But as you point out, those statements from JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy, of course, President Trump and his supporters have contributed to this violent rhetoric as well.

Raddatz: Well, absolutely, George. We were just looking back this morning at some of the things that former President Trump has said. He warned last March of potential death and destruction if he were charged by the Manhattan District Attorney, our country is being destroyed as they tell us to be peaceful. Trump, in January, warned of bedlam in the country if the criminal charges against him succeeded. And of course, in March, he said, If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole, that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country that will be the least of it. He said he was partly joking and that that was taken out of context, but those are indeed his words, and you have heard it from supporters as well. And supporters are certainly, in some parts angry. And let’s remember January 6. In so many ways for the campaign, January 6 will probably be in the background after yesterday’s event. This is a very difficult time for this campaign. I’m sure this week in Milwaukee that President Trump will highlight this, and President Biden is going to have to figure out how to go forward with his campaign and what exactly they say.

In remarks on Sunday afternoon about the assassination attempt against the former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden stated that “an assassination attempt is contrary to everything we stand for as a nation; everything.” 

“Unity is the most elusive goal of all, but nothing is [more] important than that right now; unity,” Biden elaborated. “We still don’t have any information about the motive of the shooter.”

Biden told the viewers to “let the FBI do their jobs” and “don’t make assumptions about the motives of the shooter or his affiliations.” 

“I’ve instructed that this investigation be thorough and swift,” Biden added. The president stated that he would be speaking about the assassination attempt at greater length tonight.

Biden also stated that he had a “short but good conversation” with the former president, and said that he is keeping the former president in his prayers. Biden also praised the actions of Corey Comperatore, the Trump supporter who was killed at the rally.

“We also extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who was killed,” Biden said. “He was a father, he was protecting his family from the bullets that were being fired.”

Joe Biden issued a veiled threat just one week before a gunman attempted to assassinate President Trump.

Recall that Joe Biden sat down with Democrat operative George Stephanopoulos for an interview on ABC News a week ago.

The interview with a total dumpster fire.

Stephanopoulos repeatedly asked Biden about his cognitive decline.

“Are you the same man today that you were when you took office three-and-a-half years ago?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“No,” Biden said.

Stephanopoulos also pointed to several polls showing Trump is beating Joe Biden in key swing states.

Biden snapped back and claimed the polling data was wrong.

Stephanopoulos said he has never seen a president of 36% approval get re-elected.

Biden denied he was polling at 36% approval and then issued a cryptic, veiled threat.

“Wouldn’t a clear-eyed political calculus tell you it’s going to be much tougher to win in 2024?” Stephanopoulos asked Biden referring to the abysmal polls.

Biden issued a veiled threat.

“Not when you’re running against a pathological liar. Not when he hadn’t been challenged in a way that he’s about to be challenged,” Biden said with a sinister look on his face.

One week later Joe Biden’s Secret Service failed to protect President Trump.

In an appalling breach of security, a gunman was able to climb on top of a roof next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally and put Trump in his scope.

Trump’s detail didn’t even do the most basic work to secure the perimeter.

This is Joe Biden’s Secret Service.

According to numerous reports, Biden’s DHS has repeatedly denied Trump’s request to beef up security.

Secret Service spox Anthony Guglielmi denied the reports.

The Special Operations Division repeatedly made specific requests for resources to protect Trump that were ignored or denied. Guglielmi is trying to pretend that giving them an extra penny when they asked for a dollar is being responsive.

Joe Biden glitches out at Pennsylvania rally – thinks he’s running for congress.

Former Jill Biden press secretary Michael LaRosa tore into White House staff and Biden’s handlers on Thursday in a post on X, calling the standard set by the White House “f*cking terrifying.”

It appears that Biden, who refuses to take a mental fitness exam, may have one particular medical condition that nobody’s talking about. According to Human Rights Watch, “To be diagnosed as having mental retardation, a person must have an I.Q. below 70-75.” It is unclear what Biden’s I.Q. is.

On Thursday, after Biden’s “big boy” NATO press conference, White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates posted on X from his official account, “To answer the question on everyone’s minds: No, Joe Biden does not have a doctorate in foreign affairs. He’s just that f*cking good.”

In another brain lapse, Biden also said, “I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President if I didn’t think she was not qualified to be president.”

Still, some democrats think that Joe Biden did great on Thursday. As The Gateway Pundit reported, MSNBC’s low intelligence Rachel Maddow also celebrated his performance, claiming he showed “impressive command of the issues” on Thursday.

Michael LaRosa responded to Andrew Bates, saying his fellow Democrats are living in an “alternate universe” and called the whole situation “pretty ‘f*cking’ terrifying.”

Bates further got roasted in the comments section, with many questioning the sobriety of the Biden handler.

Political commentator Gunther Eagleman asked him, “Are you drinking…?” TPUSA contributor Lauren Chen, said “Lay off the crack, Andrew,” and another user said, “Stay off the drugs, Andrew.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated last night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Trump immediately grabbed his neck after being shot while bleeding profusely from his ear. Video recordings of the scene also show Trump ducking down immediately after the initial gunshots were heard.

Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.

While Trump narrowly survived his brush with death, one American patriot tragically lost his life while two other attendees were seriously injured and are currently in critical condition.

Now, a new report suggests the Crooks may have had plans going beyond merely assassinating Trump. The Wall Street Journal revealed today that the shooter had “explosive devices” in his car. Further details regarding these devices are unclear at the moment.

Crooks’s car was parked near the Trump rally in Butler, PA, on Saturday. Imagine how many more could have been injured or killed had these devices been set off.

Authorities found explosive devices in the car of the man who officials say tried to assassinate former President Trump, according to people briefed on the investigation.

The car, which Thomas Matthew Crooks drove, was parked near the Trump rally in Butler, PA, on Saturday.

Police received multiple reports of suspicious packages around near where the shooter was, authorities said, prompting them to dispatch bomb technicians.

Investigators were still working to make sure the scene was clear well into the night. They also searched Crooks’s home and spoke with his family.

The FBI still claims the motive of the shooter remains unknown.

The man killed by President Trump’s would-be assassin at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday has been identified as Corey Comperatore, a Former Fire Chief for Buffalo Township, PA.

WPXI.com reports:

PITTSBURGH — The former fire chief for Buffalo Township, Corey Comperatore, was the person killed in the crowd at the Trump rally in Butler County, Channel 11 has learned.

Comperatore is being remembered on social media by family members, friends and colleagues of the firefighting community. He had retired from the fire department, but remained well-known in the community.

According to reports, Comperatore was fatally wounded as he heroically shielded his daughter from the gunfire.

Comperatore’s sister shared a tribute to Corey on Facebook.

His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and unimaginable. My baby brother just turned 50 and had so much life left to experience. Hatred has no limits and love has no bounds. Pray for my sister-in-law, nieces, my mother, sister, me and his nieces and nephews as this feels like a terrible nightmare but we know it is our painful reality.

Two other people in the crowd were also critically wounded and are being treated at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

President Trump has authorized a GoFundMe as a place for donations to the supporters and families wounded or killed in Saturday’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt. “All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation.”

Almost $1.5 million has been raised so far with UFC’s Dana White and musician Kid Rock donating $50,000 each.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated last night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Trump immediately grabbed his neck after being shot while bleeding profusely from his ear. Video recordings of the scene also show Trump ducking down immediately after the initial gunshots were heard.

Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.

Now his beloved wife and former First Lady Melania Trump has weighed in with a powerful statement regarding the evil attack. She opened by expressing her sympathy toward the other families and Americans nationwide.

“I am thinking of you, now, my fellow Americans,” Melania continued. “We have always been a unique union. America, the fabric of our gentle nation is tattered, but our courage and common sense must ascend and bring us back together as one.”

“To the families of the innocent victims who are now suffering from this heinous act, I humbly offer my sincerest sympathy,” she said. “Your need to summon your inner strength for such a terrible reason saddens me.”

She then revealed what went through her mind when Trump was struck in the ear by a bullet, inches away from her brain, and thanked those who saved her husband.

“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,” Melania wrote.

She described Crooks as “a monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine” who attempted to “ring out Donald’s passion — his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration.”

Melania then warned about America’s “personal, structural, and life commitment” until death and urged Americans to “ascend above the hate, the vitriol, and the simple-minded ideas that ignite violence.”

“We all want a world where respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends. We can realize this world again,” she added. “Each of us demand to get it back. We must insist that respect fills the cornerstone of our relationships, again.”
