St. Mary’s Cathedral in Linz, Austria, has been a center of controversy after an offensive sculpture of the Virgin Mary giving birth to Jesus was put on display.

The piece, which some Catholics have called blasphemous, showed the Virgin Mary sitting on a rock with her legs spread while giving birth.

Artist Esther Strauss designed the piece, which was carved by Theresa Limberger.

This week a vandal beheaded the statue.

The sculpture had been on view at Austria’s largest cathedral as part of the DonnaStage art installation project on women’s roles, family images and gender equality, the Linz Diocese said in a statement. It added that the incident, which occurred on July 1, had been reported to police.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, former prefect of what is now the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, commented on the German news site kath.net that “if a pictorial representation of the birth of Jesus causes offense among the faithful and causes division in the church, the aim of Christian and especially sacred art has been missed.”

Alexander Tschugguel, an Austrian traditionalist Catholic responsible for the so-called “Pachamama” act of vandalism during the Vatican’s 2019 Amazon synod, in a July 3 social media post praised Cardinal Müller for commenting on the incident: “I am happy that Cardinal Müller again defends the Church and especially our Lady!” he wrote.

After a blasphemous “artwork” was displayed at the Cathedral of Linz, #Austria, an unknown #catholic hero took care of it and destroyed it.

Tschugguel said the unknown vandal reached out to him directly, and he shared on X, “The Hero responsible got in touch with me and has just told me the following: ‘I did it first and foremost for the Mother of God!’ So let us pray to God through the intercession of Our Lady: Protect this man, O Lord, and continue to guide him!”

In another update, Tschugguel shared a statement from the alleged pepetrator:

The Hero of Linz anonymously relased (sic) this statement:

“Hate or love, what were my reasons for today’s action?

Well, as a simple Catholic and sinner, it is of course not up to me to prevent the actions of our bishops. But it is very much my and our task to prevent any defamation of GOD and his most holy Mother.

Just as the Virgin Mary protects us every day and is there for us, we must also be there for her, the Mother of GOD, in the most severe afflictions, because that is what defines us as a Church.

But why so martial, why no dialogue? Unfortunately, emails from the Diocese of Linz are ignored, telephone calls are abruptly ended when criticised and there is no outlet for criticism or even intervention. Therefore, in view of this abominable and blasphemous caricature, urgent and decisive action was required!

But why the head of this caricature, of all things, had to be destroyed is quickly explained, because I had to be quick and effective. Although I started by sawing the torso, the noise level and limited time meant that I was unable to carry out this initial plan, so only the head was sawn off. But without the head and halo, there could no longer be any question of a caricature of our Virgin Mary.

In the end, the sculpture was just an immoral, tasteless statue without a head, which effectively ended the blasphemy and defamation of our Blessed Mother.

Just as the Blessed Mother does everything for us in love, we must do everything for her without hesitation. This begins with prayers and ends, if necessary, with our lives.”

Rest easy, Joe Biden has assured us that he is in great health. The only issue is… his brain?

The Gateway Pundit reported,

No wonder California Governor Gavin Newsom avoided the cameras after Democrat governors held an emergency meeting with Joe Biden at the White House Wednesday evening to see if he is up to remaining the Democrats’ presidential nominee. Biden told the governors he was staying in the race.

The New York Times reports Biden told the nearly two dozen governors, about half of whom attended in person with others attending via video conference, that his health is fine, “It’s just my brain.”

The Biden campaign spun the remark as being a joke, in comments to the Times afterwards.

Biden is also reported to have said he needs to get more sleep, work fewer hours and not do events after 8 p.m.

Biden has blamed his disastrous debate performance against President Trump last Thursday on jet lag from two trips to Europe last month and a fundraising trip to California.

Sounds great to me. Joe Biden really knows how to inspire confidence. Nothing says “fit to be the leader of the free world” quite like a man who has brain problems and can’t stay up past 8pm.

Joe Biden sat with George Stephanopoulos for an interview on ABC News on Friday.

Old lost Joe did about as well as expected.

George Stephanopoulos: Did you ever watch the debate afterwards?

Joe Biden: I don’t think I did, no.

George Stephanopoulos: What I want to get at is, what were you experiencing as you were going through the debate? Did you know how badly it was going?

Joe Biden: Yeah, look, (pause) the whole way I prepared, nobody’s fault, mine. Nobody’s fault but mine. I prepared what I usually would do sitting down as I did, came back as foreign leaders or the National Security Council, for explicit detail. I realized about part way through that I could quote it, the New York Times had me down at 10 points before the debate, nine now or whatever the hell it is. The fact of the matter is that what I looked at is that he also lied 28 times. I couldn’t. I mean, the way the debate ran, not my fault, no one else’s fault.

George Stephanopoulos: But it seemed like you were having trouble from the first question in, even before he spoke.

Britain’s new Foreign Secretary is a far-left racebaiter who has described Donald Trump as a “neo-nazi-sympathizing sociopath” and participated in protests during his official visit to the country.

Lammy, who claims to be the first black Briton to attend Harvard Law School, was appointed as Foreign Secretary on Friday after the Labour Party won a landslide victory in the country’s general election, despite winning a lower vote share than when the party lost in 2017.

Following Trump’s rise to the Oval Office, Lammy vowed to “chain myself to the door of Number 10” if plans to give Trump state visit to the United Kingdom went ahead and later participated in protests when the event went ahead.

Lammy said at the time:

We need to martial our efforts to fight. I will be on the streets when eventually they cave in and let Donald Trump into this country. The man is a racist. The man has Ku Klux members in his inner team. The man thinks it is OK to have protesting Nazis on the streets. Of course I will campaign against it. If I have to chain myself to the door of Number 10 this black man will do it.

In an article for TIME magazine the following year, Lammy announced he would be joining “tens of thousands on the streets, protesting against our government’s capitulation to this tyrant in a toupee.”

“Trump is not only a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathizing sociopath. He is also a profound threat to the international order that has been the foundation of Western progress for so long,” he wrote in Time. “It is because I cherish and champion those values that this Friday, I will march with London against Donald Trump.”

However, Lammy has since changed his tune, insisting that he will work with the Trump administration if he wins election in November.

“It doesn’t matter who is in Number 10 – you work with the United States,” Lammy told Sky News back in January. “I think all backbenchers of both sides and I know that the current Foreign Secretary David Cameron described him as a misogynist and xenophobic.”

“So all of us are going to have a backstory in relation to that. But the truth is, if I have the privilege of becoming foreign secretary, it will be my job to represent the national interests of this country.”

A 17-year-old Michigan resident, who has been missing for months, was discovered after his brother noticed him in the background of a Twitch stream.

Troy Coleman of Flint, who suffers from schizophrenia, went missing on May 21 of this year and was feared to be dead.

However, in an amazing turn of events, Troy’s brother Trent Coleman spotted him in a live stream being streamed by Faze Lacy, a popular Twitch streamer.

In the live stream, Lacy believes Troy is on drugs due to his bizarre behavior, but in an email to Lacy, Troy’s brother Trent wrote, “Hello, my name is Trent Coleman and my missing little brother from Michigan was on Clix and Lacy’s stream in Miami. He is not on drugs, he is schizophrenic. He has been missing for three months, and his case was put on homicide in Michigan.”

After finding out Troy was missing, Lacy contacted Miami authorities, who were able to locate Troy and arrange his transportation back to Michigan to be with his family.

The Flint Township Police Department wrote, “A heartfelt THANK YOU to everybody who shared the missing person information about Troy Coleman. We are working with local authorities to arrange his safe return to Michigan to be with his family.”

Per Fox 2 Detroit:

A 17-year-old Flint resident, who according to family suffers from schizophrenia, was found when his brother recognized him on a popular Twitch stream.

After the brother saw the Twitch stream, authorities were able to track down Troy Coleman, who had been missing since May 21, according to Flint police.

FaZe Lacy, one of the streamers, tweeted that he and “Clix,” his streaming partner, had talked with Coleman randomly on the street, and because of that, his family discovered that he was still alive.

Coleman’s brother, Trent, reached out to them and they were able to put police in contact with Troy, who is now returning to Michigan.

“We are working with local authorities to arrange his safe return to Michigan to be with his family,” the Flint Township Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Joe Biden stopped to chat with reporters on the tarmac as he was departing Wisconsin en route to Wilmington, Delaware.

Earlier Friday Biden spoke to a crowd of people jammed into the corner of the gym at Sherman Middle School.

Biden’s goal was to quell doubts and prove he is capable of being in the White House for four more years.

Of course, his plan totally backfired. Biden doesn’t even know what year it is.

“I’ll beat Donald Trump! I will beat him again in 2020! And by the way, we’re gonna do it again in 2024!” Biden shouted.

Reporters peppered Biden with questions about calls for him to drop out of the 2024 presidential race following his poor debate performance.

“I have!” Biden said. “At least 20! They’re telling me to stay in the race!”

Tennessee Judge I’Ashea L. Myles has ruled that not one page of the writings by the Covenant school shooter, Audrey Hale, will be released for public review. Why? Sounds like a cover up. Who is being protected?

The ruling is an insult that helps no one. The cat is already out of the bag. Audrey Hale was a mental patient from the age of six when in 2001 Hale’s parents turned her over to the mental health “experts” at Vanderbilt University Hospital.

And had it not been for the leaked information from a law enforcement source to the Tennessee Star reporters, we’d have no idea the amount of psychiatric drugging that was being conducted on Hale.

But first we must take a step back and wonder why Hale’s parents found it helpful or necessary to turn over their daughter’s writings to the Covenant School and the parents of the victims.

Why? Mom and Dad Hale knew their daughter was a mental health mess for many years. Mom and Dad Hale knew about the psychiatric drug experimenting that was done on their daughter. In fact, Norma Hale is reported to have told investigators that Audrey had to “go through a series of medications to find one that was appropriate for her.” Really?

How many mind-altering drugs was Audrey subjected to before the mental health experts found the one that was “appropriate for her.” Just when was that eureka moment?

Given that four mind-altering drugs were found in Hale’s bedroom by investigators, it appears that the eureka moment never happened. The question is how many times was Hale prescribed psychiatric mind-altering drugs, when did the drugging first begin and how often were Hale’s prescriptions tweaked over two decades to try and “find one that was appropriate for her?”

What Hale wrote in her diary must be a humdinger or why else would it be so protected. It’s already been leaked that Hale wanted to kill her father. Is there more detailed information about that incident that the parents want withheld?

Or did Hale write about her psychiatrists and her frustrations with the number of drugs she was being fed? Because of this judge’s decision, nobody knows and, perhaps, never will.

But this is an interesting case not just because of the withholding of important information about the shooter, but also from the standpoint of who should be held responsible for Hale’s murderous behavior.

Recall that in February of this year, Jennifer and James Crumbley, the parents of Michigan’s Oxford High School shooter, Ethan, were found guilty of four counts of involuntary manslaughter.

A first of its kind trial where the parents of the shooter were found criminally responsible for their son’s mass murder and sentenced to prison. Why? In this case, the Crumbley’s failed to secure a gun and ammunition at home and failed to get help to support Ethan’s mental health. Not enough mental health?

What happens when there is too much mental health intervention? Did Hale’s parents fail to understand the serious and deadly side effects associated with the psychiatric drug cocktails their daughter was being prescribed.

There is little doubt, given the information that has since been leaked about Hale’s mental illnesses, that the parents were fully aware of their daughter’s volatile behavior.

Further, because Hale was living with her parents, did the parents have a duty to ensure that their daughter’s guns and ammunition were secure? Did Hale’s parents deliberately give their daughter’s writings to others to hide information that might prove embarrassing to them or others? Who?

Maybe Audrey’s diary provides details about her “treatment” at the hands of the professionals at Vanderbilt. Maybe in Hale’s lucid moments she was less than thrilled with the “treatment” she was being subjected to at Vanderbilt and she wrote about it.

Maybe the smartest guys in the room over at Vanderbilt hospital didn’t pay attention to the possible serious adverse events associated with their chemical concoctions being mixed for Audrey?

Maybe the best and brightest “treating” Audrey had a duty to inform law enforcement about her homicidal ideation that she spoke of often during “treatment” sessions? How would those actions, or Vanderbilt’s lack of action, be any different than what was expected of the Crumbleys?

Seems like an awful lot of people knew of Hale’s serious/murderous behavioral distress and did nothing to protect her or the public. Somebody’s got to be responsible.

And one must wonder if Audrey’s writings are the key to finding out how best to correct this grievous wrong. It could be argued that by virtue of the fact that Hale took the time to write about what was happening in her life that she meant for us to see it.

It could be argued that Hale meant for us to understand her drug-induced insanity. But thanks to Judge Myles, the public is dealt another, final assault. Who is the Judge protecting?

An American Airlines jet was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger allegedly exposed himself and urinated down the aisle of the plane.

The passenger, Neil McCarthy, 25, was arrested after the plane, originally en route to New Hampshire, diverted back to Buffalo, New York, on Wednesday.

McCarthy faces charges of indecent exposure and was released following an appearance in a Buffalo federal court.

McCarthy reportedly told police he had consumed several whiskey and colas before boarding his initial flight from Oregon and continued drinking heavily during a layover in Chicago. The heavy drinking allegedly led to the disruptive incident mid-flight, according to the New York Post.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that McCarthy was charged with indecent exposure, which carries a maximum penalty of six months in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles M. Kruly, who is handling the case, said that on Wednesday, the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (NFTA) Police were called to Gate 2 at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport in response to a report from the American Airlines flight.

The report indicated that McCarthy had exposed himself and urinated in the aisle while the plane was in flight.

“An American Airlines flight attendant saw McCarthy exposing himself and urinating on the flight —  and a passenger snapped a photo of him in the act, federal prosecutors claimed,” The Post reported.

In his defense, McCarthy claimed that he got up to use the jet’s restroom when the issue occurred. He said he was returning to his seat when he suffered a ‘medical urination problem.’

As a result, the aircraft was diverted from its original destination of Manchester, New Hampshire, to Buffalo.

Upon landing, an officer boarded the plane and confirmed the incident with a flight attendant. McCarthy was then taken into custody and escorted off the aircraft.

McCarthy made an initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah J. McCarthy and was released on his own recognizance.

American Airlines issued a statement following the incident, noting that the plane was able to resume its journey from Buffalo after McCarthy was removed.

“We thank our team members for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding,” the airline wrote.

Senator Mark Warner of Virginia is assembling a coalition of Democrat Senators to ask Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race following his disastrous debate performance.

Biden totally bombed at last week’s debate. He froze, stammered and had to be led off the stage by Nurse Jill.

Left-wing media outlets immediately called for Joe Biden to drop out of the race after his poor performance at the debate.

Democrat lawmakers were next to come forward calling on Biden to drop out.

Now this…

Mark Warner, the very powerful Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is working to put together a group of Democrat Senators to convince Biden to drop out of the 2024 race.

The Washington Post reported:

Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) is attempting to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask Joe Biden to exit the presidential race, according to two people with direct knowledge of the effort.

Warner is telling Democratic senators that President Biden can no longer remain in the election in the wake of his faltering debate performance, according to the people familiar with private conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely. The Virginia senator has told others that he is deeply concerned Biden is not able to run a campaign that could beat former president Donald Trump.

Warner spokeswoman Rachel Cohen would neither confirm nor deny that the senator thinks Biden needs to drop out of the race, instead issuing a statement that read, “Like many other people in Washington and across the country, Senator Warner believes these are critical days for the president’s campaign, and he has made that clear to the White House.”

A number of tactics are being discussed as senators with growing concerns are weighing the best way to relay their worries to the president.
