Democrat Governors Stage Coup Against Biden — Hold Secret Call Excluding White House and Staff, Spearheaded by Minnesota’s Tim Walz: Report

Democrat governors have reportedly staged a coup against Joe Biden.

According to a report by CNN’s Jake Tapper, the governors held a secret call Monday afternoon, excluding any staff members and individuals from the White House or campaign.

The call was organized by Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota for the Democratic Governors Association (DGA). On this call, the Democrat governors expressed their concerns about what’s currently going on with Biden. They are aware that if they publicly voice their concerns, it could potentially cause Biden to become more obstinate.

The far-left governors were also surprised by the fact that none of them had heard directly from Biden. This has led to discussions about wanting to have a direct call with the campaign or White House. There were also talks about having Kamala Harris address them.

On the call Dem. governors expressed concern about what’s going on with the president

They know if they come forward publicly with concern that likely will cause Biden to dig in more

They were also surprised none of them had heard from him (!)

Tucker Carlson wrote on X, “Biden is done. Bet on it. Too many prominent Democrats have suggested he’s brain damaged. They can’t walk that back. They have to remove him, and they will. The only question is when. If they’re smart, they’ll do it immediately. If Kamala’s going to be the nominee, she might as well be the president first. That leaves the question of Trump, and his sentencing on July 11. Biden’s collapse makes this a much more perilous moment than it was. At this point Trump is not just the Republican candidate, but effectively the presumptive president. If you’re going to put him in jail, it had better be for a very serious crime that everyone agrees he committed. Otherwise you risk destroying the system completely and forever. We’re in legitimate danger. Democrats need to pull back.”

While no elected Democrats have called on Biden to drop out of the presidential race after his disastrous debate against President Trump last Thursday, NBC News reported overnight that at least four Democratic lawmakers, including one Congressman, have privately told NBC they believe Biden should drop out.

“It’s a very tough call. But because he will continue to decline, and because if he continues as our nominee we risk some catastrophic event after the convention that prohibits him from continuing as the nominee, he should step aside and allow for a nominating process at the convention in August,” a Democrat lawmaker told NBC.

The United States government will pay vaccine manufacturer Moderna $176 million to develop a new mRNA vaccine to treat bird flu.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will pay Moderna $176 million for a vaccine containing the same mRNA technology as the company’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Bird flu, or H5N1, has been reported in dairy cows and has infected three people in the United States.

In total, 135 dairy herds have been infected with bird flu in 12 states.

Per AP:

The U.S. government will pay the vaccine maker Moderna $176 million to develop a pandemic vaccine that could be used to treat bird flu in people as cases in dairy cows continue to mount across the country, federal officials announced Tuesday.

The funds are targeted for release through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will pay for continued development of a vaccine that uses the same mRNA technology that allowed rapid development and rollout of vaccines to protect against COVID-19. The award was made through the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, or BARDA, a program focusing on medical treatments for potential pandemics.

Moderna will launch trials to test the safety and effectiveness of a vaccine that could be used to scale up a response to a bird flu pandemic if needed.

The H5N1 virus was detected earlier this year in dairy cows and has spread to more than 135 herds in 12 states and infected three people to date, all with mild cases. Federal health officials stress that the risk to the wider population remains low.

Last month, The Gateway Pundit reported on the World Health Organization’s warning to the international community about a new strain of bird flu.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules Unanimously to Vacate Injunction Barring Pro-Lifer From Sharing Message Outside Planned Parenthood Facility

Wisconsin Supreme Court

Beginning in 2014, pro-life advocate Brian Aish regularly shared his Christian and pro-life messages on a public sidewalk outside a Planned Parenthood facility in Blair, Wisconsin.

After almost a decade of fighting, on June 27, 2024, Aish won a unanimous victory at the Wisconsin Supreme Court, defeating an earlier court order that blocked Aish from coming near a Planned Parenthood nurse and sharing his pro-life views and Christian religious message outside the facility.

The case resulted from multiple interactions between Nancy Kindschy, a facility nurse, and Aish. Kindschy sought a court order barring Aish from being near her.

A county judge issued an injunction against Aish in 2020 that prohibited him from sharing his views outside the abortion facility.

Because, according to the court, Kindschy found Aish’s message to be “threatening,”  in 2022, a state appeals court upheld the injunction and ruled that it did not violate First Amendment speech protections.

Attorneys from Thomas More Society appealed directly to the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2022, arguing that the accusations in the case did not involve any “true threat.”

In 2024,  the case was re-argued in light of the United States Supreme Court’s precedent-setting 2023 ruling in Counterman v. Colorado.

Lifesite reports, “In Counterman, the U.S. Supreme Court clarified that a speaker must act recklessly with regard to whether his or her words will be perceived as a ‘true threat.’ Thomas More Society attorneys successfully demonstrated, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court found, that absent any findings satisfying that requirement, the injunction prohibiting Aish’s speech could not stand.”

From Lifesite:

The Wisconsin Supreme Court unanimously ruled to vacate, or nullify, the injunction against Aish, concluding that “the injunction violates the First Amendment” and “the injunction is a content-based restriction on Aish’s speech and that it fails to satisfy strict scrutiny.” This is the highest standard of review that a court uses to evaluate the constitutionality of a given matter. Justice Rebecca Bradley, concurring in the judgment, noted in a separate opinion that the lower court “never deemed Aish’s statements true threats, and no reasonable factfinder could have made such a finding based on the record.” “An unconstitutional injunction impermissibly infringed Aish’s fundamental First Amendment right to speak freely on ‘a profound moral issue on which Americans hold sharply conflicting views,’” Justice Bradley added.

Joan Mannix, Thomas More Society executive vice president and managing counsel, stated: “We are very pleased that the Wisconsin Supreme Court vindicated Brian Aish’s free speech rights and restored his ability to continue sharing his pro-life message. Importantly, the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s decision was unanimous. It reaffirms that the First Amendment embodies a paramount American value of protecting free speech, even if the viewpoint expressed may be unpopular or controversial—a value that transcends partisan divides. The First Amendment, as Justice Rebecca Bradley wrote in her concurrence, ‘is a bulwark against the weaponization of the justice system to squelch or even criminalize disfavored political voices.’”

EXCLUSIVE: Objections Mounting to the Proposed SEALs v. Biden Settlement

Image: Wikimedia Commons

On January 1, Navy Cmdr. Robert A. Green, Jr., publicly shared an open letter that that seeks accountability over the harm caused by the Department of Defense’s (DOD) implementation of the now-rescinded COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Over 35,000 people have joined the original 231 signatories of the letter by signing a petition that accompanies the Declaration of Military Accountability.

Six months later, on July 1, the author of Defending the Constitution Behind Enemy Lines, has now filed a formal complaint against the Admiral in charge of Recruiting for the Navy. In a pair of X posts this morning, readers can find Cmdr. Green’s “OBJECTION TO SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS In U.S. Navy SEALs v. Biden.”

Don’t let the Navy off the hook with a mild tap on the wrist. This is the first case in our lifetimes that could altar the tradition of court deference to the will of tyrannical military commanders.

Don’t let this suit settle. The fight for #militaryaccountability must go on! https://t.co/7cpCJwGNTu

— Chase Spears (@DrChaseSpears) July 2, 2024

Within his complaint, Cmdr. Green alleged the “unlawful deprivation” of his First Amendment rights granted by the Constitution and a violation of 42 USC § 1983.

The complaint specifically identifies Rear Admiral James P. Waters, the commander of Navy Recruiting Command. On June 26, Navy Recruiting Command blocked Cmdr. Green from commenting on its official social media account hosted by X, formerly known as Twitter.

Speaking as a citizen of the United States who emphasizes that his views do not reflect those of the Department of Defense or Department of the Navy, Green often criticizes the Navy’s unlawful participation in the now-rescinded 2021 military COVID-19 shot mandate. For him, the mandate had a severely negative impact on recruiting and force readiness.

Image: Screenshot provided by Navy Cmdr. Robert Green, Jr.

The Gateway Pundit spoke with former U.S. Army public affairs officer Dr. Chase Spears, who agrees with Cmdr. Green as evident by his reply to the Navy commander’s X post. Having served in the public affairs career field for 20 years, Dr. Spears acknowledged “witnessing a debate in the public affairs realm about whether or not commands can, and should, block users.” Traditionally, he said, the First Amendment awarded a layer of protection to service members commenting in a personal capacity on various social media platforms.

“There are basic rules of engagement that allow those who manage official military social media accounts to hide or delete comments that are profane or obscene, that violate people’s privacy or call for violence against anyone,” he said, explaining that “Americans nevertheless have the right to comment on and even criticize official government messaging.”

However, in recent years, management of official military social media accounts has “gone through an evolution, becoming more Orwellian in practice,” Dr. Spears shared. While Americans should continue to have the right to engage and debate official military talking points, he said, “People who differ from the party line are increasingly being viewed with a sense of reprobation by those who run military social media accounts.” This, he said, is “changing the previously understood rules of military social media engagement.”

According to Dr. Spears, “the debate has moved farther away from protecting the rights of what people have to say on the social media platforms, particularly when they’re addressing a government account.”

“There’s a much more progressive mindset among commanders and public affairs officers (PAO),” he said. “They don’t want people hijacking their messaging, criticizing their messaging, or giving a reason for people to doubt their messaging—so if they don’t like what someone has say, they’re increasingly open to hiding comments or even blocking a critical user’s account.”

In the latter part of his career as a PAO, Dr. Spears noticed that in the military public affairs fields of practice, “those who have a constitutional perspective [that protects free speech] are finding themselves outnumbered, or at least outgunned in terms of authority and influence.” And those who take a censorious approach, he said, “believe it’s fair and ethical to block users and delete the comments that go against their narrative.”

According to him, “their actions [against Cmdr. Green] are a violation of the operating doctrine of the Defense Department, which is maximum disclosure, minimum delay.” As Cmdr. Green pointed out in his formal complaint, the Supreme Court case O’Connor-Ratcliff v. Garnier confirmed that “the deprivation of a citizen’s first amendment rights from a government-controlled social media account is not permitted under law.”

“Case law is clearly on Cmdr. Green’s side,” Dr. Spears explained. “Bottomline, the legal, ethical practice should be that you don’t block people for saying something merely because you or your commander doesn’t like it. That undermines the Constitutional purpose of what the military exists to protect.”

A History of Violating Constitutional Rights

Dr. Spears noted that commanders, like Rear Admiral Waters, are responsible for everything that happens in their organization. “However,” he pointed out, “they’ll often avoid issues that might violate policy, principle, or even the Constitution to keep from rocking the boat.”

One such issue that is noted by Cmdr. Green in his Article 1150 complaint was related to the 2021 COVID-19 shot mandate:

“Under Rear Admiral Waters’ watch, the OPNAV N131 Religious Accommodation Review Team developed and executed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to issue a template denial to each Religious Accommodation Request submitted by Navy sailors without doing the individualized review required by law and military regulation.”

Furthermore, “The actions taken by Rear Admiral Waters and his team were so flagrant that they became the cornerstone evidence in the SEALs v. Biden federal lawsuit over religious liberty in the United States Navy.”

Dr. Spears noted that “this fits the model we have seen of flag officers across the Department of Defense.” He explained, “They have not been held accountable for their actions, forcing the injection and violating people’s religious rights.” Despite their tyrannical enforcement of an ineffective “vaccine,” he pointed out, “none of them were demoted, and none of them were fired, but many of them were promoted.”

“What does that tell everyone else beneath you?” he asked. “It sends a powerful message that if you want to get promoted, if you want to have higher levels of command, you need not worry about what the law says, but rather worry about what your higher command tells you to do.”

“Americans have to ask themselves, is this the kind of military leadership that you want?” Dr. Spears asked in conclusion.

The Gateway Pundit also spoke to Coast Guard Vice Admiral (ret.) William “Dean” Lee. Although he elected to take the shot, VADM Lee considers himself “in lockstep” with Cmdr. Green. “I took it because I trusted it,” he said. “That trust is now lost, [and] the heavy-handed manner in which the mandate was executed is shameful.”

“Once it was discovered that vaccinated service members were still getting COVID and the country had already gotten past the curve of the pandemic because everyone had pretty much had it already,” he said, “it is then that leadership failed to take a strategic pause to reflect and ascertain whether enforcement of the vaccine was still a good idea.”

What’s more, he said, “leadership continued to stick to their guns even with all the publicity and emergence of facts about the side effects exacerbated, if not caused, by the vaccine itself.”

Regarding Rear Admiral Waters, VADM Lee said, “I don’t know what was in his mind at the time, but I do know this … disobeying an order or going against the grain of what the institution wants to do doesn’t bode well for members of the military, but those few that are willing to stand their ground on principle, such as Commander Green, are admirable.”

VADM Lee asserts, “Current leadership needs to examine what went right, and what went wrong here.” According to him, “They have a duty of care to go back and review every process, every policy, and every decision made during the COVID-19 roll-out and ask themselves what could have been done better.”

“This wasn’t about a shot. This was about much more than that,” he argued. “It was about truth, trust, and a government unwilling to admit that this could have been handled far better.”

“If I were still on active duty, I would want to know the answer to these things. Let us endeavor not to make the same mistakes again,” said VADM Lee.

DEVELOPING: Rudy Giuliani Disbarred in New York For Challenging 2020 Election

President Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani was disbarred in New York on Tuesday for challenging the 2020 election.

A panel of judges in New York’s Appellate court accused Giuliani of intentionally making false statements to the courts related to his efforts to challenge the 2020 election.

“The disciplinary charges stem from the allegations that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers, and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020. These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client,” The New York Supreme Court announced.

The panel of judges criticized Giuliani for his work exposing the corruption in Pennsylvania.

In 2020, Rudy Giuliani pointed out two huge gaps in Pennsylvania’s mail-in ballots during a hearing before the state legislature.

“You have two major gaps — you have the 672,770 votes that were not inspected by anyone secretly put into the ballot box and then you have this gap that I don’t understand between the mail-in ballots. You’ve sent out: 1.8 million and the number you counted: 2.5 million!” Rudy said.

Rudy continued, “That’s totally impossible to explain other than what some of the other witnesses were suggesting that they were basically stuffing the ballot box. I believe what happened was that they never expected to be behind by 700,000 or 800,000 votes on election night. They expected to be behind by a couple hundred thousand — in Philadelphia to steal a couple hundred thousand votes, they do it every year, that’s not going to be tough. Now you have a real big problem so you had to create mail-in ballots, you had to stretch it out for a while…”

WATCH:

“You could ask to see the ballots.”

“Further, nowhere did respondent assert that he had read or knew of the contents of any of the proffered materials before he made his statements about voter fraud in Philadelphia. Thus, the Referee found that respondent’s statements were not mere exaggerations, but falsehoods designed to deceive his listeners,” the panel of judges wrote.

Demonstrators at SCOTUS React to the Immunity Ruling

Demonstrators at SCOTUS React to the Immunity Ruling

Both anti- and pro-Trump demonstrators were present following the ruling in Trump v. United States.

After the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Donald Trump in the case pertaining to presidential immunity Monday, demonstrators gathered outside of the Supreme Court building to make their voices heard, both for and against the decision.

The bulk of the protesters objected to the ruling in favor of immunity in Trump v. United States, largely on the grounds that it would delay the case. One of the protesters, Gary Rush, told The American Conservative that he felt that the Supreme Court has “twisted the scales of justice absurdly far toward Donald Trump,” as when the justices “were asked to take up this case last December, they passed on it,” but then took it up from an Appeals court, but then “didn’t have a hearing for another couple of months.”

Nadine Seiler, another demonstrator, waved a “Coup Plotters to Prison” banner as she discussed her thoughts on the case. She told TAC that the Supreme Court “slow-walked” the case from “February to June.” Seiler ascribed this timeline for the case as being due to the potential political preferences of the Justices, “so that the American people do not have the opportunity to be fully informed on the criminality of the person that they [the Conservative justices] want to be president.”

Seiler also commented that in November she will not be voting in support of Biden, but against Trump, invoking his convictions in a New York nondisclosure agreement case: “I’m voting for the person from Weekend at Bernie’s, because there’s no way that I’m going to stand here and allow somebody with 34 felonies.”

Many of the protesters on the left expressed concern with the perceived conservative shift of the Supreme Court. For instance, Rush commented that he felt that both Justices Thomas and Alito should have recused themselves, owing to the participation of Gini Thomas in various Stop the Steal protests and Martha-Ann Alito’s hanging of supposedly controversial flags.

“It’s pretty obvious because they were being part of the tilting of justice,” Rush said.

Seiler said, “The six conservative Supreme Court justices are an arm of the GOP and the RNC.”

One left-wing spectator, Ross Clemens, was much more negative about the result of the Immunity case than others. “We saw the end of democracy today,” Clemens told TAC. He said that he hopes “that King Biden takes care of business,” as, in his view, if the president is immune in official acts, then “he can go imprison those six idiots on the Supreme Court.” Clemens added that he thinks Biden “should arrest the idiot conservatives” on the court and can “get them all sent down to Gitmo,” as he is “absolutely immune.”

Also present were conservative demonstrators in favor of the ruling. One of the conservatives, One of the protesters, Michael O’Neil, the author of a memoir about his refusal as a civilian employee of the Army to take the vaccine, told TAC that he was there to support Trump. O’Neil had gone from the steps of the Capitol to those of the Supreme Court when he had heard about the ruling. He said that the various prosecutions against Trump were politically motivated. He pointed to the timing of the cases and how members of Joe Biden’s DOJ went to work on the Alvin Bragg case in New York, leaving behind higher-paying jobs in order to prosecute Trump.

Shri Thakur, a Summer Fellow at American Compass, commented that the ruling “makes sense on the merits” in “distinguishing between an official act and a private act.”

“It’s not too sweeping in either direction,” he said.

Thakur observed that the decision “derails the case against Trump” and prevents it from going to trial before the election. He finished by stating that he is “very pleased with the decision” as it “builds off a very good week” for conservatives, also referencing the Trump–Biden debate and the gains made by French conservatives.

Despite the demonstrators’ differences of opinion, the day passed without altercation.

BREAKING: Trump ‘Hush Money’ Sentencing Delayed After SCOTUS Presidential Immunity Ruling

Alvin Bragg’s office agreed to delay Trump’s sentencing set for July 11 after the Supreme Court decided on presidential immunity.

The Supreme Court on Monday ruled 6-3 that Trump has absolute immunity for his core Constitutional powers.

“Although we believe defendant’s arguments to be without merit, we do not oppose his request for leave to file and his putative request to adjourn sentencing pending determination of his motion,” assistant district attorney Josh Steinglass wrote in a letter to Judge Juan Merchan, ABC News reported.

President Trump on Monday sought to overturn the ‘hush money’ conviction after the Supreme Court ruled he has presidential immunity for official acts.

Trump’s legal defense team previously invoked the presidential immunity argument to delay the hush money trial, but it was struck down.

In May President Trump was found guilty on all 34 felony counts in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s ‘hush money’ lawfare trial.

Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime. This is unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree something bad happened. This, of course, is completely unconstitutional.

President Trump’s lawyers argued that part of Alvin Bragg’s case was built on Trump’s time in the White House and the Supreme Court’s ruling on immunity means prosecutors cannot cite that evidence.

“Although the Manhattan case does not center on Mr. Trump’s presidency or official acts — but rather personal activity during his campaign — his lawyers argued on Monday that prosecutors had built their case partly on evidence from his time in the White House. And under the Supreme Court’s new ruling, prosecutors not only cannot charge a president for any official acts, but also cannot cite evidence involving official acts to bolster other accusations.” – The New York Times reported.

The sentencing will likely be delayed for a few weeks. Judge Merchan has not yet ruled on Trump’s motion.

Murder Rate in Socialist Venezuela Falls to 22-Year Low as Country’s Violent Criminals Flee to U.S.

The murder rate in socialist Venezuela has fallen to a 22-year-low as violent criminals moved to the United States and other parts of the continent.

The South American country, which over the past decade has suffered one of the world’s most severe economic and humanitarian crises, has seen its own population plummet as millions of Venezuelans seek opportunities elsewhere.

However, this has also led to an exodus of large numbers of the country’s violent criminals, many of whom have sought “refuge” in the U.S. at the invitation of the Bien regime.

The Daily Mail reports:

Once deemed the world’s most dangerous city, Caracas has seen homicides fall by a staggering 25 percent when compared to 2023, with the Venezuelan Violence Observatory registering 26.8 violent deaths per 100,000 people, compared to a rate of 35.3 for every 100,000 habitants in 2022.

But now, as Venezuelans increasingly flood over the US-Mexico border, reports of newly-arrived migrants committing horrific crimes have left Americans shocked – including that of two men arrested in the brutal abduction, rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Texas just last week.

…

According to InsightCrime, the dire economic situation in the country, combined with the mass population exodus, has reduced opportunities for those looking to extort, kidnap and rob back home.

‘Crime is falling in Venezuela because of the destruction of the country’s economy …because of the loss of opportunities for crime,’ OVV director Roberto Briceño-León told InSight Crime.

Over 10 million illegal aliens have entered the country illegally since the Biden regime seized power in 2021, with U.S. authorities having little to no knowledge of their past criminal history.

As reported extensively by The Gateway Pundit, many of these illegal aliens have turned out to be career criminals who have spread their violence across the United States.

There have been numerous cases of illegals raping, stealing and murdering innocent American civilians, while there is also evidence that the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren De Aragua has successfully expanded its operations across the country.

The most widely reported instance of this was the murder of 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was killed whilst out jogging by a 26-year-old José Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan illegal alien who had previously been let free by authorities after facing charges of child abuse.

Earlier this month, 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was similarly raped and killed by two men in North Houston, Texas, who later dumped her body into a creek. Two Venezuelan migrants have been charged for her murder.
