At a rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday, Harris criticized Trump and “his extreme Project 2025 agenda.”

Harris then said, “Can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it. It’s 900 pages. But here’s the thing. When you read it, you will see Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. He intends to give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations and make working families foot the bill. They intend to end the Affordable Care Act. And take us back, then, to a time when insurance companies had the power to deny people with pre-existing conditions.”

This is despite the fact that Trump himself has publically distanced himself from it and pointed out that his platform is called Agenda 47.

CNN, of all places, fact-checked the Harris campaign and noted that the Harris campaign has “made a deliberate decision to brand all of Trump’s policies” as “Project 2025.”

Facts First: One of Harris’ claims about Project 2025 is false, while another is at least misleading. The Project 2025 document does not show that Trump intends to cut Social Security; the document barely discusses Social Security at all and does not propose cuts to the program. In addition, contrary to Harris’ suggestion, Project 2025 does not call to “end” the Affordable Care Act or eliminate its protections for people with pre-existing conditions. The document does criticize the Affordable Care Act, especially the law’s expansion of Medicaid, but makes clear it is advocating changes to the law rather than terminating the law entirely.

A Harris campaign official said the campaign has “made a deliberate decision to brand all of Trump’s policies” as “Project 2025,” since they believe “it has stuck with voters.” After the initial publication of this article, a Harris campaign spokesperson, Joseph Costello, added, “Project 2025 is a blueprint for many of the dangerous policies we know that a second Trump term would include, and it is indisputable that in his first term, Donald Trump repeatedly tried to cut Social Security and end the Affordable Care Act.”

Rob Bluey at The Daily Signal points out, “Another fact-check article, published Wednesday by VERIFY, a website devoted to stopping the spread of false information, debunked a myth that Project 2025 called for the elimination of individualized education plans, commonly known as IEPs.”

Earlier this week as I found myself scrolling through Instagram, I was bombarded by colorful compilations of Vice President Harris’ most absurd remarks. As I watched one of them, I assumed it must have been an attack ad from the GOP. But to my surprise, the clip was from the women’s media company “Betches” and was captioned “A woman in a high powered job laughing?? Groundbreaking really.”

As Democrats have mobilized to support President Joe Biden’s pick for a successor in Kamala Harris following his announcement last weekend that he would not seek reelection, the Internet would seem to show that influencers have decided to embrace Harris’ eclectic and often unserious persona. “Kamala is brat” was tweeted by singer Charli XCX and has been a meme embraced by the campaign. This is likely  in a desire to galvanize young people, a coalition that had been decisively unenthused by Joe Biden’s campaign, to come out to vote for Harris. However, the cost may be swing voters.

It’s not news to anyone that Harris has been a deeply unpopular vice president. Throughout the last three and a half years, she has had consistently low approval ratings, averaging around 39%. At her lowest, this number was around 28%, lower than almost any VP in modern history. She has failed to deliver on her promises as “border czar” with illegal immigration at an all-time high, and she has seemed relatively absent on a policy level from the administration. Harris flailed during the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, dropping out at a 3.5% share of the vote even before the first elections took place. The  common theme is that Harris just doesn’t have the magic factor that makes politicians successful: likability.

The campaign has reasonable concerns about young voters given the administration’s record on Israel as well as Harris’ own record on policing (who can forget the laughing about  marijuana incarcerations that tanked her presidential prospects the first time). Therefore, the obvious solution to them may seem to be pushing clips of Harris repeating “I love Gen Z” to get the youth vote out. Instead, the emphasis on Harris’ “meme-ability” is likely to backfire. It makes her appear just as unfit for the presidency as her critics on the right and left have been claiming her to be. Many voters have expressed concerns about the vice president’s demeanor, responsibility, and inappropriate laughter,and these clips are no doubt just legitimatizing their worries.

Even the College Democrats at Penn, my alma mater, when posting their official statement on recent events, captioned the photo with a palm tree and coconut emoji, referencing the viral clip of Kamala Harris saying “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?”

They aren’t the only explicitly political organization highlighting Harris’ comments. Dream for America, a progressive Gen-Z grassroots nonprofit, and countless others have posted similar content. In doing this, Democrats risk hypocrisy on their favorite talking point against Trump – that his rhetoric, demeanor, and lack of professionalism make him unfit for the highest office.

While progressive influencer culture’s support of Harris has been “cringe” at best, Republicans have seemed to effectively employ the Internet to increase the former president’s likability. Following the assassination attempt, the now famous photo of Trump with his fist held high above Secret Service agents and the American flag flying behind him became widely circulated on the Internet. Rather than make light of the situation, conservatives across social media used the opportunity to highlight the former president’s leadership skills and courage. Prominent public figures such as Mark Zuckerberg and Zach Bryan even felt compelled to highlight how impressed they were with Trump. Many have argued that Trump’s response to being shot may even have eliminated the stigma around supporting him – after all, Elon Musk and Bill Ackman quickly followed with endorsements.

To capitalize on a seemingly rightward shift in young people, with Gen Z twice as likely to identify as conservative than millennials were at their age 20 years ago, the to more than 70 influencers. While these guests were certainly helpful in supplying the Internet with supportive posts, the convention’s production and energy spoke for itself. It placed an enormous emphasis on By platforming “everyday Americans” who varied in age, race, and background but who were all negatively affected by Democratic policies, the RNC tailored content to each of their target demographics including black voters and those impacted by the rise in antisemitism.

Employing the Internet in campaign strategy will no doubt be a roll of the dice for both Republicans and Democrats. However, while Kamala Harris has shown she has what it takes to go viral, her ability to win the hearts and minds of the voters she needs is seriously in question. Donald Trump, lifelong businessman and TV personality, on the other hand, seems on his way to doing both.

According to a report from the Washington Free Beacon, the Biden-Harris-led State Department used data collected by an organization linked to the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement to produce an internal “report card” on Israeli activities in the West Bank.

The State Department compiled its report using data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

NGO Monitor has extensively detailed how OCHA is a driving force in the United Nation’s campaign to delegitimize Israel.

A report from NGO Monitor in 2016 explains, “Abusing its mandate of neutrality and impartiality, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA-oPt) is responsible for coordinating a highly political and biased NGO network in the West Bank. New research by NGO Monitor shows that this official UN office is responsible for facilitating funding to and the dissemination of information from groups involved in political warfare against Israel, including those advancing anti-peace BDS.”

“Coordinating with some of the most virulent NGOs in the region, OCHA promotes a one-sided narrative of Palestinian victimization and sole Israeli aggression,” Anne Herzberg of NGO Monitor said. “OCHA’s central role in anti-Israel political warfare is yet another example of the exploitation of human rights, international law, and humanitarian principles via UN bodies to attack the Jewish state.”

An internal State Department email chain reviewed by the Free Beacon shows the creation and dissemination of the report on so-called Israeli settlement growth. U.S. officials described the report as an update from previous data compiled by the Biden administration on Israeli activities in the West Bank.

Prior to Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror strike on Israel, the construction of Jewish homes in contested areas of the West Bank was a central source of tension between the Biden administration and the Israeli government, particularly under Netanyahu. When Netanyahu’s conservative governing coalition retook power in 2023, the Biden administration appeared ready to clash with Israel over the issue.

“Our very own [redacted name] updated the open-source report card he produced this time last year,” wrote Hady Amr, the Biden administration’s special representative for Palestinian affairs. “This draft conveys the average annual rates [of growth], and as you can see, across board.”

Amr wrote in the email that he “would be happy [to] repackage / update per suggestions.”

America’s border czar is missing in action as terrorists invade America.

The New York Post has exclusively reported that three dangerous Palestinian terrorists illegally crossed the southern border earlier this month before finally getting caught.

The outlet revealed that one of the terrorists had “salacious photos” on their phone, including a picture of a masked man holding an AK-47 rifle.

In addition to the Palestinians, federal authorities also captured an illegal from Turkey with suspected ties to terror groups. These illegals were part of a group of dozens who turned themselves into border agents at the San Diego sector of the U.S.-Mexican border, according to the Post.

Authorities have transferred the terrorists to Immigration and Customs Enforcement as the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force “investigates” their cases. It is unknown at this point which terrorist organization the three Palestinian invaders are affiliated with.

Border Patrol agents spoke to the Post Sunday about the impossible challenges they face thanks to Harris’s dereliction of duty. They explained they have no way of thoroughly vetting immigrants from across the globe, especially in San Diego.

This is because they are only able to access US terror watchlists and other American resources to determine terror threats. The Post notes border agents do not have access to terror or criminal databases from other countries.

One border agent told the outlet on the condition of anonymity that he has “probably” let terrorist slip into America due to having his hands tied.

“Knowing who these guys are, we have, like, no access to anything international. Like, we really don’t, and it kind of sucks,” he said.

“I wanted to get into Border Patrol and protect from terrorists,” the border agent added. “And it’s like, well, I probably let terrorists in the country.”

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson did not respond immediately to a request for comment from the Post.

Given the Biden regime’s reckless open borders policy, it is a miracle America has not been hit with another terrorist attack resembling 9/11.

But make no mistake, one is inevitable unless Donald Trump returns to the White House and shuts down the border.

Does The View’s Joy Behar support racial profiling?  Perhaps, but only for white men.

During a July 15, 2024, episode of The View discussing the failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, Behar suggested that a “20-year-old white guy” purchasing 50 rounds of ammunition “should be reported.”

Behar shared, “According to a CNN report, a senior law enforcement official said that [the would-be assassin] bought 50 rounds of ammunition from a local gun store hours before the rally.”

She then suggested, “Shouldn’t that have been reported? Somebody buys 50, a 20-year-old white guy, I mean we’ve seen that many times now. Young white men with guns, and nobody reported that he bought 50 rounds of ammunition.”

Breitbart News notes the obvious, which reveals how little Behar understands:

Behar may not realize that 9mm ammunition is sold in 50 boxes, as is .45 ammo, .380 ammo, .38 Special ammo, .40 S&W ammo, .357 Magnum ammo, and so on. Therefore, to report someone for buying “50 rounds of ammunition” would mean reporting them for buying one box of ammo.

Now, rifle ammo is available in numerous per-box sizes, the smallest average being 20 rounds per box. Even this means the 50 round threshold would be hit by purchasing 2.5 boxes, which is not enough ammo even fill two standard sized 30-round magazines at the range.

House Republicans Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT) and Rep. Brandon Williams (R-NY) announced they have launched the Merit Caucus to combat the woke infection of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in education.

They describe the Caucus as “a coalition of members dedicated to advancing a merit-based system in classrooms that will help ensure students are receiving the best education, regardless of background or income.”

In a press release announcing the Caucus, Owens shared, “America is the land of equal opportunity, not the land of equal outcome.“

“The Left’s war on meritocracy has gone too far, lowering standards for students and teachers, discouraging achievement in the classroom, and eliminating academic excellence, all in the name of equity. This is the future that potentially awaits us if Kamala Harris manages to seize power in November.

Fox 5 Vegas reported that I-15 closed near Baker, California, in both directions after a semi-truck carrying lithium batteries, which power electric vehicles, caught fire Friday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino County Fire Department (SBFD) responded to the fire and fuel spill.

The I-15 is a major highway connecting Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The highway shut down Friday morning and did not open again until Sunday.

According to Fox 5 Vegas, firefighters decided to implement a “hard closure” to establish a safe distance from the fuel and oil along the roadway, but suppression efforts were complicated because of what the truck was carrying. The SBFD noted on X that lithium battery fires are challenging to combat and extinguish.

Just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, the SBFD stated on X that several attempts had been made to move the truck off the highway shoulder with heavy machinery without success.

“However, the container’s weight, exceeding 75,000 pounds, has made these efforts unsuccessful so far,” it said.

Even worse, crews had to deal with the situation in extreme heat. Temperatures in Baker Friday reached 110 degrees Friday and 111 Saturday afternoon according to Fox 11 Los Angeles.

Drivers were trapped in their vehicles for hours, and many started running out of gas and water due to the raging fire.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg claimed he was monitoring the situation and told drivers to follow instructions from state and local officials.

Around 3 p.m. Friday, fire officials said the California Highway Patrol opened southbound I-15 lanes, but the Northbound freeway remained closed before reopening Sunday morning.

As the Gateway Pundit has reported, electric vehicles powered by lithium batteries tend to cause massive fires at a greater rate than gas-powered cars. In fact, Amazon’s EV vans keep catching on fire to the puzzlement of company executives.

After Joe Biden was forced out of the race last Sunday in a palace coup, one unfortunate casualty was having to retire the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon,” which had been a brilliant way to mock the mentally declining White House occupant. America will have to endure Cackling Kamala Harris for at least several months.

Vincent Scuzzese, who runs a store in New Jersey with that famous phrase, suddenly had to call an audible. Within one day, however, he was able to create fresh merchandise targeting the presumptive Democrat Party presidential nominee.

“We made them on Monday,” Scuzzese told The New York Post in an interview.

People are now purchasing the new products in droves and the 59-year-old Scuzzese has a theory why.

“My sales are going nuts,” Scuzzese told the Los Angeles Times. “Biden dropped out, but Kamala has the same views — even worse views. She’s more socialist.”

Currently, two shirts are on sale roasting Harris. This first shows her dressed like a typical clown with the phrase “Let’s go, Brenda,” a play on the famous coded Biden chant.

A teenager has been charged in connection with a train derailment that he recorded and allegedly caused, the video now likely to become one of the key pieces of evidence against him.

The unnamed teen was charged Wednesday in Lancaster County, Nebraska, with two felony counts of criminal mischief totaling over $5,000.

The 17-year-old, described as a train enthusiast by KOLN-TV, was on-site and had his camera recording in April as two locomotives and five fully-laden cars collided with an empty rail car near the town of Bennet.

The crash led to a derailment and some $350,000 in damages to the equipment and cars.

An investigator at the scene was approached by the teenager, who asked about what happened. The investigator said the cause was undetermined. What he was told next would change the course of the investigation.

“Obviously a switch was flipped the wrong way,” the teen responded, according to a warrant reviewed by KOLN-TV.

The statement was recognized as a potentially major lead.

Shortly before the teen approached, a conductor told the investigator that he noticed a switch was aligned the wrong way, but had no time to slow the weighed-down train.

The investigator found a padlock that was supposed to have locked the switch’s position missing entirely from the mechanism.

The teen showed the investigator his video of the crash, and was reportedly even able to tell authorities where the switch was and how it functioned. He denied tampering with the switch mechanism.

Reviewing security footage from around the scene of the derailment, authorities found that a person parked a vehicle and walked toward the switch before the derailment. The switch itself was not visible by the cameras.

The teen was seen arriving at the scene in the same car before setting up his equipment and recording the crash.

The video was uploaded to a YouTube account linked to the teenager, KLKN-TV reported.

The teen also provided his video to KOLN-TV and it was put on the outlet’s own YouTube page.

A search warrant lists the teen’s phone and recording devices as items wanted by authorities.

A motion has been filed to move the 17-year-old’s case from juvenile to adult county court.

Former President Donald Trump took a light-hearted jab at Billy Ray Cyrus over his famously liberal pop star daughter, Miley Cyrus, while speaking at the Bitcoin conference on Saturday.

Trump was the keynote speaker at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

During his speech, Trump pointed out that Billy Ray Cyrus, a conservative, was in attendance. The country superstar recently performed at the funeral for Corey Comperatore, the Trump supporter who was killed in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 when an assassin shot and tried to kill the former president.

“Billy Ray Cyrus is here, where is Billy Ray, he’s around here someplace,” Trump said, before praising him for performing at the funeral.

Trump said that he had spoken to Cyrus and asked him how he ended up with such a liberal daughter, drawing laughter from the audience.

“He’s a conservative guy. I said, ‘How did you get such a liberal daughter?’ How had that happened, Billy Ray?’”

His daughter Miley has been an extremely outspoken advocate for liberal causes, especially abortion.

The pop singer and former Disney star had previously vowed to leave the country if Trump was elected but later changed her mind.
