If you were to search for J6 articles in The Gateway Pundit, you would be able to find many articles on Billy Chrestman. Some readers might remember his harrowing experience with the corrupt Department of Justice since February 11th, 2021, when he was kidnapped from his home by the FBI, thrown in several prisons before landing in the DC “Gulag” for three years. His story is not unlike many who are being held within the walls of these gulag jails and prisons. His family is everything to him, he’s an Army Veteran, a former union sheet metal worker, and a man with a deep love for his country.

As a journalist, I have been able to meet many J6 defendants, and have formed friendships with most of them. Billy Chrestman is one of the defendants who has become a huge part of my life.  I met Billy through a phone interview a year ago when I started my podcast dedicated to J6, and we became fast friends.

I adore, love, and even worry about his family and can’t begin to imagine the struggles they have endured these past 3 1/2 years. Billy asked if I would be willing to write an article for the readers of The Gateway Pundit who have been so very supportive of him these past few years. I, of course, said yes, as it is a true honor to convey this hero’s story and the good news of his release.

Today is July 24th, and as I write this, Billy will be walking out of the prison in Texarkana that has held him for the last 6 months, at any moment . His family and friends are overjoyed as this has been a fight to get him to this point. Billy was sentenced by Judge Timothy Kelly on January 12th of this year to 4 1/2 years. At the time of his sentencing, he had already served 3 years, 2 1/2 being pretrial detention.

Since he had no violent charges, Billy was eligible for the First Step Act. This gives inmates the ability to reduce the time from their sentences. Thank you President Trump!

Along with what is known as “Good Time” or not having any disciplinary infractions one might get while incarcerated,  this could remove 35% of an inmate’s sentence. One of the requirements for the First Step Act is that an inmate must participate in approved classes of different kinds. However, when Billy arrived in Texarkana, he quickly found out they did not offer these classes. How does a prisoner get released early if they aren’t allowed to participate in what they need, in order to make that happen? Well, that is something that needs to be addressed and hopefully will be addressed when we all demand an overhaul of our prison and jail systems.

When you do the math of his sentence versus how long he has already been incarcerated, including the First Step Act and “Good Time”,  Billy should have been released just after his sentencing in January. Instead, nearly six months later, he will be headed to a Halfway House to be assimilated back into society for another six months. He will be able to see his family on scheduled days, and eventually he will be allowed to do over night visits and then finally he will return home.

During the last 3 1/2 years, the Chrestman family has lost almost everything. His wife and youngest daughter are currently looking for an apartment they can afford so Billy will have a place to come home to. Everything they own is in a small storage unit that they struggle to pay for every month.

“There’s no livelihood anymore. To be honest with you, the only thing I have left is my family and that’s because my wife and kids are amazing,” he said in an interview with TGP after signing his plea deal. “Even though they — everything has been taken from all of us — our house that our kids grew up in — God, I’ve had that house for over 18 years. It’s gone.”

With all the hardships this family has endured, today is a day of celebration as Billy is finally out of chains and in his family’s arms. He will be reporting to his halfway house immediately following his release, but now they all know exactly where he is and that he is safe.

At 50 years old, a father of 5 and grandfather of 4, this hardworking veteran will start over. No longer able to work in the union he was a part of for 15 years due to J6, Billy will fight to build a life in which he can support the family he loves so much.

I cannot quite express the emotions when Billy’s daughter called me and said “Dad will be out on the 24th.” I cried tears of joy and later that week when I got a call from Billy to confirm this, I cried again. Their circumstances are overshadowed by the true happiness of being able to see and hug each other again. The love this family has is beautiful, strong, and has never waivered.

As I said earlier, The Chrestman family has become very special to me and my family. I am asking that if you are able to help them in any way possible, please do, for their fight is not yet over. They will be residing in Kansas and need help in all aspects of living, be it a job, a place to live, money and/or prayer.

Americans have consistently been lied to for years regarding the poor state of Joe Biden’s health.

Democrat politicians and their PR sycophants in the mainstream media promised that dementia Joe was doing just fine up until the very moment he stepped out of the Presidential race and the Democrat machine anointed Kamala Harris.

Two new polls reveal that more than a vast majority of Americans believe Harris was directly involved in covering up Biden’s declining health and lying to the American people about it.

The Democracy Institute and Daily Express US polled 1,200 likely voters and found that 62 percent of Americans think Harris lied to the public about Biden’s deteriorating physical and cognitive health.

Only 31 percent believe she did not.

A YouGov poll conducted for The Times surveyed 1,170 registered voters showed that 92 percent said Kamala was involved in covering up Biden’s deteriorating health, with 68 percent saying she had “a great deal” to do with hiding the truth.

There were a series of coordinated arson attacks on the rail stations in France on Friday.

Authorities call this intentional attacks and malicious acts.

CBS News reported:

France’s high speed rail system was hit by several acts of “criminal” vandalism Friday, disrupting travel in the country as thousands of people flocked to Paris for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics set to take place later in the day. No injuries were immediately reported.

France’s Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said on social media that “acts of sabotage were carried out in a prepared and coordinated manner” across the rail network.

“The consequences on the rail network are massive and serious,” Attal said. “Our intelligence services and law enforcement are mobilized to find and punish the perpetrators of these criminal acts.”

France’s transportation minister told local media that attacks on three sites in the early hours of the morning involved cable clusters connected to the railway being doused with fuel and set on fire.

Police have opened an investigation after a violent attack at a youth basketball game was captured on camera.

In the video, a player, identified as a 13-year-old boy, was seen stomping the head of an opposing boy who had fallen to the ground.

The Sunday game was a match between the Filipino-American youth team Tumakbo United and Payton’s Place in Alameda, California.

The video started with a Tumakbo United player receiving the ball.

A Payton’s Place player then collided with him, grabbing his jersey and bringing them both down. A short scramble for the ball turned into a scuffle between the two downed players.

Another Payton’s Place player was then seen approaching the downed Tumakbo teen from behind.

The approaching player raised his right foot high above the victim and appeared to throw the full weight of his body into that foot as it slammed into the other boy’s head, making him go completely limp on the floor.

A referee immediately intervened and grabbed the attacker, creating distance from the victim.

According to KTVU-TV, the Alameda Police Department confirmed that it is currently investigating the incident.

Authorities said both boys were listed as 13 years old in the incident report, but other information about the case is being kept quiet because of the age of those involved.

The incident left the downed Tumakbo player with heath problems he is still dealing with.

“You could clearly see the size of his shoe on his face,” the victim’s mother Eva Guingab told KGO-TV. “My son suffered a concussion for the first time he played basketball.”

The Guingab family said the child is in concussion protocol after the injury. The incident also left the youth plagued with headaches.

The Payton’s Place player’s parents believed their son was simply defending his teammate from the Tomakbo United player.

Payton’s Place put out a statement shortly after the recorded incident began to gain traction online.

“There is footage circulating of one of our team’s games this past weekend,” the sports nonprofit wrote in an Instagram post. “Unfortunately, the footage is not a positive representation of our team and our values.

“The behavior that was exhibited by our player is not acceptable, and is being taken seriously. We do not condone violence. Our players are expected to conduct themselves with integrity on and off the court.”

KTVU reported Payton’s Place issued another statement Tuesday saying the 13-year-old behind the attack is no longer playing with Payton’s Place.

“His behavior was unexpected. We are working to assist in providing him resources to prevent this in the future,” the team announced.

“Violence has never been a part of our team. On behalf of the Payton’s Place Family, we sincerely apologize to the player injured in this incident, his family, and all those impacted.”

In a rare display of unity, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) announced the formation of a bipartisan task force to investigate the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump earlier this month.

The initiative aims to uncover the security lapses that allowed the attack and to recommend measures to prevent future incidents.

Matt Driscoll, a 43-year-old columnist and opinion editor for The News Tribune (TNT), died unexpectedly at his Tacoma home this Sunday.

Driscoll’s death was announced by his news network.

“We’ve lost a friend and beloved colleague, but Tacoma and Pierce County have lost someone who never stopped caring,” said fellow TNT writer Sean Robinson.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee (D-WA) also paid tribute to Driscoll on social media.

“Tacoma still has the Rainiers and the Narrows Bridge, but our City of Destiny has a hole in our hearts at the loss of Matt Driscoll. What a big heart and an insightful pen he gave us. I miss him already,” wrote Inslee.

Driscoll described himself as “the Johnny Appleseed of White Guilt” and/or “the Perez Hilton of Pierce County” on his social media accounts, according to My Northwest.

TNT senior reporter Shea Johnson remembered him as approachable and down-to-earth. “He was obviously a force at The News Tribune — the face of the TNT for many — but never acted like he was too cool to approach for questions, advice or just office banter,” Johnson said.

Driscoll reportedly suffered an apparent medical emergency from which he could not be revived. The official cause of death is yet to be determined, according to TNT.

It was reported that he had received a COVID-19 vaccination.

In recent times, Driscoll had been vocal about NFL star Aaron Rodgers’ controversial views on COVID-19 vaccines. He accused Rodgers of engaging in “performance art” after the latter warned people about potential side effects of mRNA vaccines.

Following the Democrat boycott of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a joint session of Congress Wednesday, Josh Waller of The Israel Guys blasted Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Nancy Pelosi and others as “Iran’s Useful Idiots,” borrowing a phrase used by Netanyahu in his speech.

The Israel Guys are American Christian YouTubers serving the Lord in Israel as part of the HaYovel (Jubilee) movement. Gateway Pundit visited them in 2019 in Har Bracha, Samaria, where they volunteer as farm helpers picking grapes near the ancient Biblical city of Shiloh and the conflict line around the “Palestinian” city of Nablus.

Josh Waller blasted Democrats including Kamala Harris, Dick Durbin, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren and 70 Democrats for boycotting Netanyahu’s speech, while their “Iran’s useful idiot” supporters outside burned the American flag and raised the PLO terror flag.

“Iran would be thrilled” with Kamala Harris as President of the United States, Waller said.

“We literally have Iranian agents inside the Biden administration… and we have people outsdie the speech burning American flags, pulling them down and repolacing them with the “resistance” flag”, Waller said. “Does that not sound Anti-American?”

“Bibi (Natanyahu) stands for American principles”, Waller said. (Israel is) “the only democracy in the Middlle East. And you’re gonna boycott that, while your people, the people that are gonna vote for you, are outside burning American flags?”

A photo taken by longtime Gateway Pundit contributor Kristinn Taylor at President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 appears to show the drone flown by 20-year-old would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks.

The photo was taken a little over two hours before the would-be assassin fired eight shots at President Trump before he was finally neutralized. (Enlarged images of the photo included further below in this article.)

One Trump supporter, Corey Comperatore, was murdered while two Trump supporters were seriously wounded during the attack.

President Trump was shot in the head by a bullet that miraculously only hit his ear as he turned to his right on stage to look at a jumbotron with a graph on immigration. Crooks was shot dead by a Secret Service sniper 26 seconds (nearly half a minute!) after he opened fire on former President Donald Trump.

The photo of the apparent drone was taken by Kristinn Taylor at 3:54 p.m. EDT according to the time stamp on the image.

Kristinn took the photo from the pathway approaching the Secret Service magnetometer checkpoint, facing back toward the line of Trump supporters as they snaked their way from the parking area and merchandise row.

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified to Congress on Wednesday that Crooks flew a drone for about eleven minutes over the Butler Farm Show rally site about 200 yards or so away from the stage starting at 3:50 p.m. (ABC News excerpt):

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, flew a drone about 200 yards from the rally venue, and had it up in the air for about 11 minutes, just hours before the shooting, FBI Director Christopher Wray told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

The drone — which was recovered in the shooter’s car — was flown at about 3:50 p.m., he said.

“Let me be clear about the area — not over the stage, and that part of the area itself, but, I would say, about 200 yards, give or take, away,” he said. “And that we think, but we do not know. So again, this is one of these things that’s qualified because of our ongoing review.”

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) then posted on Thursday that whistleblowers informed him the Secret Service turned down offers of drones for the rally:

The photo of the apparent drone shows the flying object further away than 200 yards from the stage and on the opposite side from where Crooks later set up on the AGR building roof to shoot Trump.

This (cropped) site map sent in advance to press covering the Butler rally shows the three buildings behind the stage and the AGR building in the upper right corner. The white circle with the number 2 is the approximate location of where the photo was taken while looking south. The apparent drone is likely over the grassy area between the building complexes on either side. The grassy area was used for parking for the rally.

The original photo, taken at 3:54 p.m., shows a small black object in the blue sky overhead.

Zoomed-in versions of the photo show a black object in the sky overhead.

This is the only photo Kristinn took that day that shows the apparent drone. Other photos of the sky he took at the rally do not show any objects, birds or drones, overhead.

Here is a close-up of the object that was flying over the Trump Butler rally on Saturday July 13th at 3:54 p.m., just a few hundred yards from the stage.

Kristinn was credentialed by the Trump campaign for the press pen near the stage but traffic was backed up for two hours to get to the rally site Saturday afternoon. The press check-in was closed when he arrived so he was waved into the general rally area where he roamed and took photos of the attendees. Kristinn was not on the left side of the rally area when the shooting took place. Rather, he was on the opposite side from where the shooter was when Trump took the stage.

Wray took a swipe at President Trump during his testimony before Congress on Wednesday.

Wray suggested during testimony before the House Judiciary Committee that President Trump was not hit by a bullet but that it was instead shrapnel that caused his injury on stage at the Butler rally.

“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray said.

“I don’t know right now whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have landed somewhere else,” he added.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively “uneventful” – Wrong!

That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.

No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a “bullet wound to the ear,” and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!

A chilling new video of the World Trade Center Towers collapsing on September 11, 2001, following Islamist terrorist suicide attacks, has surfaced online, shedding fresh light on one of the darkest days in American history.

Kei Sugimoto, a Japanese-American who was 24 years old at the time, has released a nearly 1-hour, never-before-seen video on his YouTube channel.

Sugimoto was a Mainframe Operator at the time at Nissho Iwai Shoji when the terrorist attacks occurred and filmed the footage from the roof of 64 St. Marks Place in New York City.

He used a Sony VX2000 with a teleconverter to capture the harrowing moments, according to his Youtube description.

On July 22, Sugimoto first released a six-minute video on his YouTube channel, revealing the footage for the first time.

In the video’s description, Sugimoto wrote: “Footage I filmed of the World Trade Center Collapsing on 9/11/2001. Filmed from the roof of 64 St Marks Place in NYC on a Sony VX2000 with teleconverter. Upscaled to 4K 60p using Topaz Video AI. For historical archival purposes only.”

When asked why he decided to release the footage after 23 years, Sugimoto explained, “I was cleaning my closet and found boxes full of Hi-8, Digital-8, and DV tapes.”

“When trying to play them back, I noticed that maybe about a third of them had demagnetized over time and were either blank or suffering from major data corruption. After researching online, I learned that video tapes are not immune from age even when stored in ideal conditions, so I frantically started to digitize them. Thus, I’m just uploading the video now,” he added.

The video was captured after two planes crashed into the World Trade Center.

“I saw the second plane crash but did not film it on camera. If I remember correctly, I think I ran to get my video camera after seeing the second plane crash, sensing that this was no ordinary accident,” Sugimoto said.

On Friday, Sugimoto released nearly one hour of never-before-seen footage of the incident. The video captures a group of people’s real-time reactions to the World Trade Center collapse, their discussions about the plane crashes, the unfolding chaos, and their fear for loved ones.

The Gateway Pundit reported last year that a previously unseen video of the September 11 attacks has also surfaced on YouTube, capturing a rare angle of the second plane striking the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The uploader of the video claims that it was “accidentally left private” for almost two decades.

The nearly nine-minute video was made public in 2022 and shows events most Americans have seen numerous times, but from a different and strikingly clear angle.

The video was filmed by Kevin Westley, a combat veteran who served in the 2003 Iraq war as an aircraft commander, as he stood on a boat, surrounded by a crowd of stunned spectators, according to National World.
