Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has released the complete bodycam footage obtained from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit (ESU), revealing the full aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday that Senator Grassley released a portion of a police bodycam footage that shows the moment when Secret Service and local Beaver County officers arrived on the roof where Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump and rallygoers.

Grassley wrote, “July 13 Bodycam footage provides more info than Secret Service will share with America We NEED detailed answers ASAP on security failures TRANSPARENCY BRINGS ACCOUNTABILITY.”

Grassley added that he obtained the video from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit in compliance with congressional requests.

At the beginning of the video, a local Beaver County officer can be heard saying that a sniper took multiple photos of Thomas Crooks before he opened fire on Trump and several supporters.

The officer can be heard saying that the sniper who took the photos was in an adjacent building that was fairly close to where Crooks later fired shots.

A secret service agent later asked officers about the two people who were detained following the shooting, but the Beaver County officers on the roof said they were unaware of anyone being detained.

In the background of the video, Crook’s lifeless body can be seen blurred with a stream of blood flowing down the roof.

Near the end of the video, an officer’s radio can be heard saying, “Do we have access to a drone to clear this water tower?”

Grassley has been reviewing all records received in response to oversight requests issued to federal and local agencies and is making public all relevant records in the interest of transparency.

“This morning I released the FULL extent of bodycam footage I’ve received from Beaver Co Emergency Services Unit showing aftermath of Trump shooting The public’s biz ought 2b PUBLIC You can find the video on my website,” Grassley wrote on his social media Thursday.

In his press release, Grassley highlighted two key concerns raised after reviewing approximately 30 minutes of footage:

A fragmented and delayed chain of communication between local and federal law enforcement.
A seemingly delayed response in identifying and disabling a potential detonator device, including a potential device located next to the deceased shooter.

“The video footage additionally records law enforcement discussing the need to use a drone to inspect and secure the water tower on site. Records obtained by my office corroborate that USSS had assigned an Unmanned Aerial System drone operator to the event,” Grassley added.

In one of the videos, it can be heard that it was a sniper named “Greg” who took a picture of Crooks.

“I believe the sniper that saw these and sent the pictures is right inside this building. All right, so if you go to that window that’s open and yell for Greg, that’s the sniper who sent the original pictures. He saw him come from the bike, set the book down, and then lost sight of him,” said one of the Beaver officers.

Vice President Kamala Harris, appointed as the Biden administration’s border czar in early 2021, has faced mounting criticism for her handling of the U.S.-Mexico border crisis. Conservative commentators and lawmakers have argued that her tenure has been marked by inaction and failure, as illegal immigration numbers have surged to record levels.

Harris was tasked with addressing the “root causes” of migration from Central America, focusing on diplomatic efforts and economic development in countries like El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Despite these efforts, critics say her approach has been ineffective. According to Rodney Scott, a former Border Patrol chief, Harris’s impact on border security has been minimal, with the U.S. gaining limited cooperation from Mexico and Panama mainly due to career professionals within the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department​.

Republicans have been vocal about their dissatisfaction, with Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) introducing a resolution to remove Harris from her role. Jackson accused Harris of neglecting her duties, resulting in a rise in illegal immigration and drug trafficking. He emphasized the need for a leader who would prioritize American interests and bolster border security​.

Harris’s approach has also been criticized for being more symbolic than substantive. Her trips to Central America and photo ops have been seen as insufficient by many, including former Department of Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli, who argues that the administration’s goal is to eliminate U.S. borders, undermining national sovereignty​​.

The media is working overtime trying to remove the border responsibility from Kamala.

While the White House has announced initiatives such as safe mobility offices in Guatemala and partnerships with private corporations to invest billions in Central America, the results have been underwhelming. An Associated Press report highlighted that nearly 250,000 people have passed through the dangerous Darien Gap in Panama this year alone, surpassing previous records and illustrating the ongoing migration crisis.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) criticized the administration’s policies, blaming them for empowering cartels and exacerbating the fentanyl crisis, which has claimed numerous American lives. Green argued that Harris should acknowledge the administration’s role in the crisis instead of attributing it solely to external factors​.

Despite these criticisms, Harris has pivoted to other high-profile issues, such as abortion rights, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. This shift has not quelled the criticism of her border czar performance, with many conservatives continuing to highlight her failures as emblematic of the administration’s broader immigration policy shortcomings​.

As the 2024 elections approach, Harris’s role in the border crisis is likely to remain a focal point for Republican attacks, underscoring the political stakes of her controversial tenure as border czar.

Space is still the final frontier, and as much as humans have studied what lies beyond our planet Earth, we still know very little, and of what we think we know, much is just plain wrong.

Even when it comes to our neighboring planets from the Solar system, we are still piecing together information to understand them better.

In a shining example of just how little we know about them, it now arises that the smallest planet in our galaxy may hold unimaginable riches beneath its surface, according to a stunning discovery by NASA’s MESSENGER spacecraft.

Mercury, the closest planet to the sun, may contain a 10-mile thick mantle layer of diamonds.

The dark-colored patches of graphite on Mercury’s surface have long been a scientific mystery, and suggests it may once have had ‘a carbon-rich magma ocean’.

The New York Post reported:

“The same geological process would likely have also created a carbon-rich mantle — however new data and a reevaluation of mass on the planet’s surface suggest that the mantle is not made of graphite, but precious diamond.

‘We calculate that, given the new estimate of the pressure at the mantle-core boundary, and knowing that Mercury is a carbon-rich planet, the carbon-bearing mineral that would form at the interface between mantle and core is diamond and not graphite’, team member Olivier Namur, an associate professor at KU Leuven, told Space.com.

‘We directly thought that this must have a huge implication for the speciation [the distribution of an element or an allotrope amongst chemical species in a system] of carbon, diamond vs graphite, on Mercury’, Namur added.”

MESSENGER was the first spacecraft to orbit Mercury from 2011 to 2015, mapping the entire planet and collecting data about its geology and magnetic field, before crashing into the planet and ending its mission.

“’We believe that diamond could have been formed by two processes. First is the crystallization of the magma ocean, but this process likely contributed to forming only a very thin diamond layer at the core/mantle interface’, Namur told the outlet. ‘Secondly, and most importantly, the crystallization of the metal core of Mercury’.”

When Mercury formed some 4.5 billion years ago, its core was liquid before slowly crystallizing over time.

 “’Mercury formed much closer to the sun, likely from a carbon-rich cloud of dust. As a consequence, Mercury contains less oxygen and more carbon than other planets, which led to the formation of a diamond layer’, Namur said.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday in Moscow to mark the anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Damascus. The meeting comes at a time when Russia is positioning itself as a mediator in a potential rapprochement between Syria and Turkey.

Putin spoke of the tense situation in the Middle East and the risk of escalation in the ongoing conflict in that region. “Unfortunately, there is a tendency toward escalation, we can see that,” Putin remarked before adding, “This also applies directly to Syria.”

“Considering all the events that are taking place in the world as a whole and in the Eurasian region today, our meeting today seems very important to discuss all the details of the development of these events, to discuss possible prospects and scenarios,” Assad told Putin.

The Kremlin did not provide further information regarding what was discussed, though earlier this week, Kremlin Spokesman Dimitri Peskov stated that establishing contacts “at various levels” between Syria and Turkey is on Moscow’s agenda.

“Many countries and, of course, Russia, as a country playing a significant role in the region, are interested in helping the two countries improve relations,” Peskov told reporters Tuesday.

This past May, the Georgia State Election Board (SEB) finally heard a complaint that was filed with the SEB in July 2022.  The SEB is required to hear complaints within 90 days of being filed, but for this particular case, two years have passed.  In December 2023, the SEB was scheduled to hear the case before abruptly removing it from the agenda for a December 19th meeting.

When it was finally heard at the SEB’s May meeting, the Secretary of State’s general counsel, Charlene McGowan, and one of her investigators were given the opportunity to present their findings.  The Gateway Pundit covered this meeting and the presentation in a two-part series that can be found here: Part 1 and Part 2.

Notably, the presenters themselves, Georgia resident Joe Rossi and Elections Oversight Group’s Kevin Moncla, were not afforded an opportunity during that meeting to offer a rebuttal of the investigator’s presentation.

However, in the July meeting, complainants were afforded that opportunity after the SEB put it to a vote.  Garland Favorito of VoterGA.org, data analyst Phillip Davis, and former voting systems tester Clay Parikh presented the rebuttal on behalf of complainants.  The complainants also submitted a factual response to the Board.

One of the issues in question was the varying counts in Fulton County from the initial machine count, the hand recount, and the final second machine count, the latter of which was used for the “official results.”  Part of the discrepancy pointed out in SEB Complaint 2023-025 was Fulton County coming up 17,234 ballots short during the machine recount, which again was used as the “official result.”

The final results were also missing 17,852 ballot images and contained at least 3,125 duplicate ballots in the count.

According to an email exchange between SEB member Dr. Jan Johnston and the Secretary’s general counsel Charlene McGowan, Dr. Johnston had requested information that was referred to during McGowan’s presentation.  McGowan told Dr. Johnston that the request was to be treated as an “open records request,” an odd assertion against a Board tasked with oversight of the elections in Georgia.

In email to Dr. Johnston, McGowan writes:

“I have discussed with the Chairman your request that the electronic ballot images provided by Fulton County in response to a subpoena in the referenced case be provided to you on a flash drive.  The Chairman and I agree that the request can be treated as an Open Records Request.  As we would respond to any ORR for these files, there are both chain of custody issues and security concerns with allowing electronic copies of election data files to be distributed among the public.  Until I am sure that the files do not have any other data associated with them other than the ballot images, they cannot be released.

However, we can make the files available for inspection, so long as the Board is in agreement that this case is fully resolved and closed.  As I’ve said, this office keeps SEB investigative file materials confidential until the case is fully resolved and closed.  If 2023-025 is a closed case, we can make them available to you to review at our office.”

Dr. Johnston responded that she did submit an ORR, but did not receive a response.  When she was contacted by Gil Humes, one of the investigators, he told her she could review the images “next week” (this was May 29th, 2024).  Dr. Johnston writes:

“Mr. Humes said that the images will be available for me to review next week.  I still do not understand how Exhibit 11 was listed in the Case Summary which should have been available for all of the Board to review well before the meeting.  Now I find that Exhibit 11 is still not available.  This Exhibit was repeatedly referenced during the Investigator’s and Ms. McGowan’s presentation.  Please help me understand how an Exhibit can be listed, referred to, and questioned about; yet I am still unable to see Exhibit 11.  The viewing of Exhibit 11 ballot images does not fully resolve or close the Case.

The Secretary of State’s office seems desperate to close this case without actually providing the evidence they cite in their presentation to the Board.  This seems backward logic, and as pointed out by Liz Harrington, “It’s just like their elections:  we have to accept their results without them ever actually proving it.”

Raffensperger’s general counsel is holding evidence hostage from the State Election Board.

Six House Democrats have joined Republicans in condemining Kamala Harris’s handling of the U.S. southern border.

The four-page resolution, put forward by Rep. Elise Stefanik, sought to condemn Harris and the White House for circa 10 million illegal aliens who have been welcomed into the country since the Biden regime seized power in 2021.

Democrat Reps. Yadira D. Caraveo of Colorado, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Don Davis of North Carolina, Jared Golden of Maine, Mary Peltola of Alaska and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington.all joined Republicans in supporting the motion, which passed by a majority of 220-196.

“It took Harris 93 days as the border czar before finally visiting the southern border on June 25, 2021,” the resolution states. “President Biden’s and Border Czar Harris’s far left Democrat open border policies are to blame for this historic crisis.”

“The result of her inaction has been record high illegal crossings, overwhelmed communities, and an evisceration of the rule of law,” added House Spekaer Mike Johnson.

However, The Hill notes that most of the aforementioned Democrats are in competitive races, meaning their vote may me more a political calculation than principled opposition.

The White House, meanwhile, sough to defend its abysmal record by putting out a fact sheet pointing out that border crossings have been down from their previous record highs over the past few months.

“While the President’s action has led to significant results, our nation’s immigration system requires Congressional action to provide needed resources and additional authorities,” the statement read.

A short and fearful female Secret Service agent hides from the danger after President Trump is shot at his PA Rally. How she ever got assigned to Trump’s detail is anyone’s guess.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has sent a letter to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of the Department of Homeland Security, highlighting new allegations from a whistleblower regarding the security measures taken at former President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.

In his letter, Hawley states:

“Dear Secretary Mayorkas, Since I last wrote to you on July 22, my office has received new whistleblower allegations that further call into question your department’s preparations. The American people deserve answers about your historic failure to protect former President Trump on July 13, 2024.”

According to FBI Director Christopher Wray’s recent testimony to Congress, the assailant used a drone to survey the rally site in preparation for his attack.

Chris Wray said this:

The Crooks flew a drone around the rally area at 4 PM for 11 minutes; Trump took the stage around 6 p.m.
The drone was about 200 yards from the stage. And the Secret Service did nothing! This was after the assassin was allowed to bring a range finder into the rally with him.

This raises an essential question: why wasn’t the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) using its own drones, according to Hawley.

“The whistleblower alleges that the USSS repeatedly declined offers from local law enforcement to utilize drone technology to secure the rally. They claim that after the shooting took place, the USSS reversed course and requested local law enforcement to deploy their drone technology to surveil the site in the aftermath of the attack.

According to one whistleblower, the night before the rally, U.S. Secret Service repeatedly denied offers from a local law enforcement partner to utilize drone technology to secure the rally. This means that the technology was both available to USSS and able to be deployed to secure the site. Secret Service said no.

The whistleblower further alleges that after the shooting took place, USSS changed course and asked the local partner to deploy the drone technology to surveil the site in the aftermath of the attack.

It is hard to understand why USSS would decline to use drones when they were offered, particularly given the fact USSS permitted the shooter to overfly the rally area with his own drone mere hours before event.”

The whistleblower further alleges that the drones offered by local law enforcement had capabilities not only to identify active shooters but also help neutralize any threats.

“The failure to deploy drone technology is all the more concerning since, according to the whistleblower, the drones USSS was offered had the capability not only to identify active shooters but also to help neutralize them.

So that Congress can continue its investigation, please provide no later than seven days from now all records and communications concerning the availability or use of drones at the July 13, 2024 rally in Butler, PA. You must also testify before Congress next week about these staggering security failures by your department.”

The House of Representatives passed a resolution Thursday strongly condemning both the Biden administration and Vice President Kamala Harris for their “failure to secure the United States Border.” The resolution passed by a vote of 220-196, with six Congressional Democrats joining the unanimous GOP majority. 

The six Democrats included Reps. Mary Peltola (D-AK), Jared Golden (D-ME), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), Yadira Caraveo (D-CO), and Don Davis (D-NC). 

The resolution was brought forward by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY).

While the resolution itself is non-binding and purely symbolic, the vote highlights potential cracks in the Democratic party should Harris win the nomination. Of the six Democrats who voted for the resolution, only Caraveo has endorsed Harris in her bid for the presidency. 

The resolution is unlikely to be taken up by the Democratic majority in the Senate.
