The White House is in apparent panic mode after former President Donald Trump selected Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate on the Republican ticket.

President Joe Biden’s team — which took almost two hours to issue a statement following Saturday’s assassination attempt on Trump — reacted to the Vance announcement almost immediately after it was revealed on Monday.

Biden’s X account claimed Vance and Trump “want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich.”

It’s laughable that the 81-year-old Democrat resorted to this toothless line of attack, considering so many Americans are struggling financially on his watch.

Here’s the deal about J.D. Vance. He talks a big game about working people. But now, he and Trump want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed in a post of her own that Vance “supports a nationwide abortion ban and voted to block protections for IVF.”

Harris previously pulled this same lame stunt on Trump, only to be brutally fact-checked by X owner Elon Musk himself.

In another feeble X jab, the Biden-Harris campaign said Vance, a Catholic, opposes gay marriage and abortion.

Yeah, no kidding. Most Catholics hold these positions. This is not the “gotcha!” moment these clueless leftists think it is.

That there is so much hyperbolic anti-Vance screeching from Democrats and their media lapdogs spotlights just how panicked they are about the GOP vice presidential candidate.

Harris’ word salads are almost as comically appalling as the verbal diarrhea vomited daily by her doddering boss.

Vance isn’t perfect, but at least he’s not the cackling buffoon that the vice president is.

House Majority Leader Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) spoke on Tuesday night at the Republican National Convention, expressing his solidarity with the former President Donald Trump after Saturday’s assassination attempt. 

Scalise emphasized how important it is to elect Trump in November due to President Biden’s dismal performance on immigration and inflation.

He also empathized with the former president’s brush with death over the weekend.

“I need to say something about Saturday’s attempt on Donald Trump’s life. Many of you know I was the survivor of a politically motivated shooting in 2017,” he said.

He continued, “Not many know that while I was fighting for my life, Donald Trump was one of the first to come console my family at the hospital. That’s the kind of leader he is: courageous under fire, compassionate towards others.”

Former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley addressed the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night, preaching a message of unity for the Republican party. 

Haley had originally not been invited to speak at the convention; however, after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump on Saturday, the former president asked her to make an appearance.

Haley was blunt about her support for the former president: “Donald Trump has my strong endorsement. Period.” She continued, “For the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump.”

She addressed that there are many voters, including many of her own supporters, who may be hesitant to vote for Trump in November even if they consider themselves Republicans. She said, “My message to them is simple: You don’t have to agree with Trump 100 percent of the time to vote for him.”

“We agree more often than we disagree,” she added. “We agree on keeping America strong. We agree on keeping America safe. And we agree that Democrats have moved so far to the left that they’re putting our freedoms in danger.”

Haley recalled her own experience working in the first Trump administration, arguing that Americans were “well-served” by Trump’s presidency. Reelecting Trump, therefore, will be imperative to securing the welfare of the nation, she argued. 

She once again emphasized the need for cohesion within the Republican party going into November. “We must not only be a unified party, we must expand our party. We are so much better when we are bigger,” she concluded.

Lawrence Jones of FOX News is in Milwaukee covering the Republican National Convention. One day this week, he visited a diner in town and spoke to people about the election.

One young black woman he spoke to said that she is voting for Trump, explaining that Democrats have controlled Milwaukee for years and that things have not improved there.

This should terrify Democrats because you know this young woman speaks for many other people.

One Milwaukee voter will cast her ballot for former President Donald Trump in November, arguing it’s time for “something different” since she is fed up with the Democrats who have run the city for more than six decades.

“Fox & Friends” co-host Lawrence Jones had “Breakfast with Friends” at the Machine Shed in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, as the Republican National Convention (RNC) is underway.

“We’ve had Democratic control in Milwaukee for the last 65 years, and we haven’t gotten anything,” she told Jones on Monday. “And so it’s like you can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. We have to do something different.”

Many voters noted that crime and the economy are top of mind as they prepare to cast their ballots in November.

One supporter even told Jones only God and Trump can get the United States back on track following the leadership under the Biden-Harris administration.

In the wake of the attempted assassination on former President Donald Trump, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have issued a joint intelligence bulletin.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who opened fire at a Trump rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, had aroused suspicion earlier that day when he passed through security screening carrying a rangefinder – an instrument often used by hunters and target shooters to measure distances for long-range shots, according to CNN.

The rangefinder would not have prevented Crooks from getting through the security screening point, but it did attract the attention of security personnel who kept an eye on him until he left the secure area.

Investigators are unsure of where Crooks went after he left the screening area but the working theory is that he went to his car to retrieve the rifle.

Around the same time witnesses alerted police that Crooks was crawling on the roof, one of the four counter-sniper teams observed Crooks looking at their position through the rangefinder, according to the senior law enforcement official.

“They were looking at him while he was looking at them,” the official said.

Crooks gained access to that rooftop by climbing on top of the building’s air conditioning system and hoisting himself up, according to a senior federal law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Crooks was spotted on a rooftop approximately 30 minutes before he opened fire at Trump.

The incident has raised serious questions about law enforcement’s response to potential threats. Even though Crooks was identified as suspicious, no immediate action was taken to neutralize him as a potential threat.

The joint intelligence bulletin released by the FBI and DHS provides further context. It reveals that prior to the assassination attempt.

The bulletin was first shared by Catherine Herridge on X. She wrote:

The document details several near misses in security protocol, indicating a significant underestimation of the threat level.

Investigative reports suggest that Crooks had purchased 50 rounds of ammunition the day before the event and had been receiving packages, some marked as hazardous materials. The FBI’s search also uncovered three suspected improvised explosive devices—one at his residence and two in his vehicle—though all were safely neutralized.

“On 13 July, prior to arriving at the campaign rally, Crooks purchased 50 rounds of ammunition from a gun and ammunition shop in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. In a search

subsequent to the shooting, the FBI found three suspected improvised explosive devices: one at

Crooks’ residence and two in Crooks’ vehicle parked near the event; all three devices were rendered safe. Over the last several months, Crooks received multiple packages, including some marked as possibly containing hazardous material, according to a review of his shipping history.”

“Prior to the 13 July assassination attempt on FPOTUS, we had observed disruptive tactics against targets related to the 2024 US general election cycle, similar to the last two election cycles, including hoax bomb threats, swatting, doxing, and white powder letters targeting election officials and offices. In many of these cases, the perpetrator and the perpetrator’s motive remain unknown. However, these tactics very likely are intended to intimidate and disrupt election operations.”

“The FBI and DHS remain concerned about the potential for follow-on or retaliatory acts of violence following this attack, particularly given that individuals in some online communities have threatened, encouraged, or referenced acts of violence in response to the attempted assassination…Lone actors or DVEs operating in small cells, likely will continue to view publicly accessible locations like political rallies and campaign events as attractive targets.”

What does it mean to be a Republican—what does it mean to be an American—in the year 2024? It means we believe in the ideals of 1776.

It means we believe in merit. The rule of law. The idea that the people we elect to run the government should be the ones who actually run the government.

These aren’t black ideas or white ideas. They aren’t even red ideas or blue ideas. They are American ideals that we fought a revolution to secure.

And the man who will revive those ideals is your next president: Donald J. Trump.

If you want to seal the border, vote Trump.
If you want to restore law and order, vote Trump.
If you want to reignite our economy, vote Trump.
If you want to revive national pride, vote Trump.
If you want to make America great again, vote Trump.

But, there’s one more reason to vote Trump. It’s actually the most important one. Donald J. Trump is the president who will actually unite this country—not through empty words, but through action. Success is unifying. Excellence is unifying. That’s who we are as Americans.

To those of you watching this at home tonight, I’d like to deliver a message that the media doesn’t want you to hear from the Republican Party. 

Our message to black Americans: The media has tried to convince you for decades that Republicans don’t care about your communities. But we do. We want for you what we want for every American: safe neighborhoods, clean streets, good jobs, a better life for your children, and a justice system that treats everyone equally—regardless of your skin color or your political beliefs.

Our message to every legal immigrant: You’re like my parents. You deserve the opportunity to secure a better life for your children in America. But our message to illegal immigrants is also this: we will return you to your country of origin, not because you’re all bad people, but because you broke the law. 

Our message to Gen Z is this: You’re going to be the generation that actually saves our country. You want to be a rebel? Show up on your college campus and try calling yourself a conservative. Say you want to get married, have kids, and teach them to pledge allegiance to your country. Give it a try, I bet it’ll be pretty liberating.

And if you disagree with everything I just said, our message to you is this: We will still defend to the death your right to say it, because that’s who we are as Americans. We’re the country where we can disagree like hell and still be friends at the end of it.

That’s the America we miss. We don’t have to be a nation in decline. We can still be a nation in our ascent. A nation whose best days are actually still ahead of us. That’s what we get if we put Donald Trump back in the White House. That’s how we Make America Great Again.

In the video, a man wearing a cowboy hat was seen showing off his shirt, which read, “Where is the Jeffrey Epstein Client List?”

The video was a screen recording of a live CNN feed that was originally posted by the account Donaldo Trumpo, who added the Jaws theme music in the background.

It was later reported CNN had to change its camera feed due to the man in the background.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) rallied the Republican National Convention with an encomium to the former President Donald Trump’s courage in the face of a Saturday assassination attempt.

“The principles of faith, family, and freedom that once defined our nation are now being trampled under foot by the radical left,” he declared. “As President Trump raised his fist and gave a rally-cry on Saturday, now is our time to fight—and we will.” He also said that the House would conduct its own investigation of the shooting at Butler, PA.

“In November, the American people will reject the party of self-destruction and they will elect the party of peace, and prosperity, and opportunity,” Johnson said. “The GOP will grow our House majority, we will take back the Senate, and we will return Donald J. Trump to the White House. Standing arm and arm, we will make America safe again.”

Trump just keeps winning. The classified documents witch-hunt has been dismissed due to the unlawful appointment of Jack Smith.

Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the high-profile classified documents case, citing the unlawful appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith.

This decision comes as a significant blow to the Biden regime and the Department of Justice, raising questions about the integrity of the entire investigation.

Attorney General Garland violated the Constitution by appointing Jack Smith to conduct this politically motivated persecution against President Trump.

The decision effectively halts the prosecution led by Special Counsel Jack Smith, appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The court found that Smith’s appointment did not adhere to the Appointments Clause, which requires that principal officers of the United States be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.

The Special Counsel’s use of a permanent indefinite appropriation was also deemed a violation of the Appropriations Clause, although the court did not address the remedy for this funding violation given the dismissal on Appointments Clause grounds.

This case was never about equal application of the law. The DOJ was in such a rush to get Donald Trump that Attorney General Garland violated the constitution in the process.

During a rambling speech at the annual NAACP convention, Joe Biden pandered to the crowd by teasing that Vice President Kamala Harris “could be president of the United States.”

At least this time, Old Joe managed to name the right person as his Veep. During his recent “Big Boy” press conference, he bungled the very first question when he called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”

Biden said, “She’s not only a great vice president, she could be president of the United States.”

Ironically, while placing the horrific image of a President Kamala in front of the crowd, Biden also said his administration is “making sure” people are not incarcerated over marijuana possession and arguing prior cannabis convictions should be expunged.

“By the way, we’re making sure that no one goes to jail for the mere use of possession of marijuana,” Biden said. “Their records should be expunged. It holds them back.”

Kamala’s track record shows a very different approach. As a prosecutor, she oversaw more than 1,900 cannabis related convictions in San Francisco, which was higher than her predecessor.

And, never forget…

Kamala Harris kept hundreds of black men in prison past their release date so she could use these men for $2 a day for cheap California state labor.

In February 2019, Jackie Kucinich at the far-left Daily Beast wrote about Kamala Harris’s Attorney General office keeping inmates locked up so the state could use them for cheap labor.
