WATCH: Conservative Reporter Startles NBC’s Kristen Welker With a Question Regarding NBC Downplaying Trump’s Near-Assassination – Welker Then Flees the Scene

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

NBC News was one of many networks that initially downplayed Trump’s near death, reporting that there were just popping noises at the rally rather than gunshots.

Conservative Turning Point USA reporter Savanah Hernandez decided to confront liberal NBC reporter and Meet The Press host Kristen Welker at the RNC Convention on Monday about her network’s irresponsible reporting, which stunned her. The look on Welker’s face is priceless.

Instead of answering, Welker fled away from “danger.”

I just confronted Kristen Welker of @NBCNews and asked her what her response was to NBC’s reporting that the attempted assassination against President Donald Trump was just “popping noises”

She refused to comment as did the rest of the NBC crew in tow | @TPAction_ pic.twitter.com/sZvWeDLekS

— Savanah Hernandez (@sav_says_) July 16, 2024

Hernandez: Excuse me, Kristen, I have a question. NBC reported that when Trump was (nearly) assassinated, it was popping noises that were initially reported.

Would you like to respond to that?

Welker (stunned): Excuse me.

(proceeds to walk away with her handlers before stopping)

Hernandez: This is Kristen Welker of NBC News right behind me, the exact same network (approaches Welker sideways, who then flees with her staff) that reported after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump that it was just popping noises.

Kristen, would you like to say anything?

By this time, Welker is already gone, having scurried away like a coward at the sight of a real reporter asking a tough question.

Hernandez: So that’s your mainstream media, ladies and gentlemen. And we have CNN here, we have MSNBC, we have NBC. So this week, I’m really going to try to ask all of these media members what their response is to their networks and this faulty reporting.

David vs. Goliath – an NAACP Faction Faces Off Against Grassroots Canvassers in an Election Case Few Know About

From left to right: Defendants Ashe Epp, Col. Shawn Smith, Holly Kasun – photo courtesy of Matt Struck

After the 2020 Presidential election, millions upon millions of Americans saw something they’d never seen before.  Counting shut down in the middle of the night in key parts of imperative swing states.  Edison data zeroed out in the middle of the night.  And when we all woke up in the morning, Joe Biden had overcome insurmountable leads in most of those locations, and closed the gap in the others.

Counting would go on for several days, during which time Biden was able to close on differences of just under a million votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin combined.  Arizona flipped blue for the first time since 1996 and just the second time since 1948.

After four days of counting (which continued for much longer in actuality), the Mockingbird Media took to their self-appointed soapboxes to declare Joe Biden the winner.

The unprecedented changes to election laws, often unconstitutionally, led to claims of widespread election fraud as all but two states allowed some form of no-excuse absentee voting by mail.  This motivated grassroots organizations across the country to network at the local level and try to figure out what happened.

Conservative grassroots canvassing movements, as a result, began popping up all over the country.  From Liz Harris’s operation in Maricopa County, Arizona, to AuditTheVotePA in Pennsylvania, conservatives and populists across the country were doing something the Democrats had a monopoly on for decades: community organizing.

In Colorado, through a series of random events, retired US Air Force Colonel Shawn Smith, Holly Kasun, and Ashe Epp would lay the groundwork for what would become the US Election Integrity Plan.  Their mission is to “Connect…Find the Truth…Share the Truth…Restore Election Integrity.”  In doing so, the trio set out with a growing group of fellow citizen volunteers to begin a widescale canvass of several counties in Colorado.

For a grassroots initiative, it was well-organized but, of course, underfunded.  There were no corporations reaching out to fund election integrity the way they do the very organizations that create election vulnerabilities through ‘Get Out the Vote’ campaigns.  There wasn’t PAC money, ACTBlue, or WINRed funding organizations to make sure the election was conducted lawfully and accurately.  News outlets weren’t telling voters to check and make sure their vote was counted and the method was accurately reflected.

They only support the front end of elections.  The ‘glitz and glam.’  The back end is grossly ignored.

Yet the USEIP persisted with a battalion of concerned citizens united to seek the truth.  The group developed a plan by utilizing their own special skills with some help from former corporate trainers and developers.

The goal was to ask non-partisan questions of willing participants.  After determining which areas to canvass based on Secretary of State data, the citizen canvasser began to go door-to-door and ask fellow citizens non-partisan questions, such as “Did you vote in the 2020 election and if so, by what method?  Mail-in ballot? Dropbox? In-person?”  If the resident didn’t want to engage, the canvassers simply said “Thank you” and walked away.

But, of course, they would end up getting sued for this canvass by a faction of one of the most prominent “civil rights” organizations in the country:  the NAACP.

After a lengthy pre-trial effort by counsel representing the Colorado NAACP, League of Women Voters, and Mi Familia Vota to extract a settlement that included a consent decree barring future canvassing by the defendants, the trial began today in the Federal Courthouse in Denver, CO.

The accusation being levied is that the Defendants intimidated voters with their canvass by violating section 11b of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Ku Klux Klan Act.

Opening statements in CO, MT, WY State Area Conference of the NAACP v Shawn Smith et al. began this morning.  After statements from the NAACP counsel, each defendant’s counsel, including Ashe Epp, a firebrand pro se defendant (meaning she is representing herself).  In her open, she stated:

“Canvassing is a long-protected First Amendment activity with a well-litigated history in our great nation.  The courts have repeatedly upheld the People’s right to canvass.  Canvassing is, as the Supreme Court determined in Meyer v. Grant in 1988, “the type of interactive communication concerning political change that is appropriately described as ‘core political speech.’”

In the current matter, Plaintiffs are asking the court to provide injunctive relief that amounts to a content-based restriction on the Defendant’s core political speech.

…I have been the target of vitriol from the left.  I was targeted by Colorado media outlets, many of whom published provable lies about me without ever reaching out for comment.  Local journalists put me on lists.  They fantasized about my whereabouts, published those fantasies, and were later forced to publicly retract their reporting.  They assassinated my character repeatedly and, as a female journalist with a minority political viewpoint in a triple majority state, I have been dehumanized to such an extent that the most well-respected Civil Rights organization in the nation, and possibly the world, feel justified in attempting to separate me from my rights – entirely based on my core political speech…

The internet is forever and, because of Plaintiffs, my name is forever attached to the KKK.

The plaintiffs called two witnesses today:  Colonel Shawn Smith and Ashe Epp.  Col. Smith began by outlining his devoted decades-long service to our country, including some of the secure posts in our military, including an ICMB launch officer and a penetration tester for critical weapons systems.

Col. Smith took a barrage of passive-aggressive questions about his research as a computer-based systems expert into our electronic voting infrastructure.  He said that he was “certain’ that then-CISA director Chris Krebs and DHS’s Chad Wolfe, based on their credentials and the data they had available at the time, participated in a “narrative roll-out” when Krebs stated 2020 was “the most secure election in our history.”

Throughout his testimony, Col. Smith was steadfast in his personal beliefs and professional analysis of vast amounts of data, procedures, and manuals which led him to conclude the 2020 election winner cannot be determined.

Questioning revolved around a “playbook” that was published by Col. Smith and the USEIP after their canvassing had been completed.  The playbook insisted that canvassers be polite, courteous, and professional and respect the voter’s right to refuse to talk to them.  No information was sought that would identify who the voter voted for, but rather simply by what method they voted.

The canvass also would reveal numerous discrepancies with the voter rolls that resulted in voters being registered at storage warehouses, fast-food restaurants, wholesale shopping stores, and vacant lots.

When asked how canvassers could be sure a voter was who they say they were when talking with them, Col. Smith responded that they would fill out affidavits and USEIP would submit them to the attorney general and district attorneys for further investigation.

Counsel then asked passive-aggressively if that meant he wanted someone else to do the investigative work for him.  Col. Smith responded, you mean the sworn elected official responsible for doing so?  Yes. (paraphrased)

Counsel for the NAACP faction would be scolded by the judge as he deviated into unrelated issues to the “voter intimidation” accusation by bringing up Col. Smith attending the January 6th protest in Washington DC.  This would become a recurring theme.

The next witness called was Ashe Epp, the pro se defendant.  Almost immediately, counsel began to question her about her blogging and podcasting from her blog, Ashe In America.  Epp only mentioned USEIP in one of her blog posts, and it was a citation directly from the organization, not herself.

At one point, Epp was asked about calling remarks made about their canvassing by the Executive Director of the CO County Clerks Association, Matt Crane, as “defamatory and libelous.”  Epp explained to the court that the quotes in the article plaintiffs were referring to did not portray the USEIP canvass, but rather another organization.  And another remark calling their canvass efforts and report “amateur” was made by Crane before the report was even released.

Once again, plaintiff counsel began to attempt to paint the Defendants in a negative light because of their attendance at the Jan 6 protest, despite Epp having a degree in journalism and writing independently about the historic day.  No one with USEIP was ever charged for any crimes on Jan 6.

The judge seemed to grow irritated with the counsel for these questions and urged him to tie it into voter intimidation from the canvassing.  She gave him a “short rope.”

An hour later, he was still pulling that rope before the judge finally called a sidebar conversation.  After the sidebar, the Jan 6 questions ceased.

Until, in a last-ditch effort, counsel tried to compare federal authorities visiting Epp’s home with the canvassing.  This was immediately objected to, sustained, and counsel rested and retreated.

Day 2 convenes tomorrow.  Follow @CannConActual on X for live-tweeting and stay tuned for a follow up on The Gateway Pundit.

America’s Heart Shines Through – Even at Assassination Attempt

BUTLER, Pennsylvania — Just over four hours before former President Donald J. Trump was set to speak at the Butler Farm Show Complex off Buttermilk Road, Harry Norman – like 50,000 otherpeople who came to spend the day at the rally – was walking across the freshly cut pastures that surrounded the stage where Trump would speak.

The 75-year-old Vietnam veteran who spent more than 20 years in the military cut a determined figure in the midsummer heat, making his way toward the last of the few seats left before the overflow crowd began accumulating. Wearing a green cotton T-shirt, jeans, and a camouflage hat with “TRUMP” across the front, he struggled as he maneuvered with a cane to the stage entrance.

He tells me he is a retired mechanic. When I tell him I am going to interview Donald Trump later in the day, Norman passes along the one message he wants me to share with the former president: “Tell him he’s doing good, and bring the country together, that’s all I know.”

Three hours and six minutes later Norman is among the crowd in the bleachers watching the former president take the stage in what is intended as a triumphant return to Butler County. Trump beginshis speech talking about a chart on the screen behind him showing the escalation of illegal immigrants flooding into the country since he left office.

“You know that chart is a little bit old, that chart is a couple of months old,” Trump says, briefly taking his sights off the crowd, something he rarely does. “If you want to see something that really …” he says as he begins turning ever so slightly to the right to illustrate the problem – when three pops are heard by those close to Donald Trump.

I was one of those people.

I was standing in what reporters call “the bumper” with my daughter and son-in-law – the well that runs the perimeter of the stage used primarily by photojournalists, who suddenly found themselves documenting for posterity the moment when a gunman opened fire.

The former president, just feet from me, grabs his face and finds blood running into his ear. He ducksdown. More gunshots ring out. Within seconds Donald Trump is surrounded by law enforcement who form a human shield around him.

At this point, Michel Picard, one of the Trump campaign’s advance team, forces me down on the ground. The moment is a blur, but I recall just standing there, with my daughter and her husband already on the ground, and then Michel stretches on top of us to shield us.

I find out on Sunday, along with the rest of the world, that the man killed by the bullets intended for Trump did the same thing. His name was Corey Comperatore, and he was a family man and firefighter to who went to church every Sunday. His wife told Gov. Josh Shapiro that “Corey died a hero” – that he dove across his family to protect them.

Within seconds I hear one of the Secret Service agents say, “Clear.” Then they start telling the team “Move, Move. You ready?” I hear the former president telling an agent who is affirming to him he’s got him, “My shoe. Let me get my shoe.”

Trump rises in sync with the agents, his face now smeared in blood. I hear him say, “Fight. Fight. Fight.” He raises his fist in the air, pumping, it seems to me, at least twice, then they escort him from the stage past me and toward the motorcade.

His red hat falls on the ground in front of me.

I hear the crowd chanting “USA! USA!” I hear one woman screaming hysterically in the crowd, her voice piercing the air, but mostly I hear the chanting. Security escorts those of us in the bumper to a holding zone where several communication and technical staff members were in tears, clearly shaken by the assassination attempt on their boss.

Men like Corey Comperatore don’t grow on trees. Or maybe in western Pennsylvania they do. Some 50,000 Harry Normans were in that crowd Saturday: Men, women, and children who were beyond excited to see Trump speak to their little county of Butler along the Ohio state line.

Most of them were dressed in some sort of patriotic theme, all of them believing they were doing their part in something bigger than themselves. Donald Trump’s great gift to middle America is that he communicates that they matter and that they are seen, which is why they are willing to spend four hours in 90-degree heat just to catch a glimpse of the man and hear his message to them.

An hour after the all-clear came through, they let us out of the holding area. By that time the entire field had been cleared. I missed the process but the evidence of left-behind purses, phones, and even a wheelchair left a trail showing that the exodus was one of urgency.

It took another hour for law enforcement to let us out of the parking lot, where a telling thing happened: People got out and talked to each other. They shared water bottles and hugs and relief when word spread to the parking field that the former president was going to be okay.

On the drive out to the Butler Farm Show Complex nine hours earlier, the political importance of Butler was apparent. On one side of the road we passed the Sunnyside Up diner that was attached to a bowling alley, and across the street were newly built half million-dollar homes. To our east we had passed the Cleveland Cliffs Steel Mill; to our west was the iconic Mahoning Valley of Ohio and East Palestine. Crowds lined the two-lane streets on the way out here. There were lemonade stands andhot dog stands, all stocked with items made by the residents in their homes. You could even park there for $20 to avoid the traffic.

This was the heart of America. It was pierced, but not shattered. And by raising his fist, Donald Trump echoed Ronald Reagan’s gesture after he was shot in 1981 – leaning out the window and waving to let people know that we will recover from this.

Morning Joe and Mika Threaten to Quit After They Were Abruptly Pulled Off Air Following Trump Assassination Attempt (VIDEO)

MSNBC’s Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough threatened to quit after they were abruptly pulled off the air on Monday following the attempted assassination against Trump.

Mika and Joe were told not to show up for work on Monday because NBC would have just one news feed all day.

“A person familiar with the matter told CNN that the decision was made to avoid a scenario in which one of the show’s stable of two dozen-plus guests might make an inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole. Given the breaking news nature of the story, the person said, it made more sense to continue airing rolling breaking news coverage in the fraught political moment.” CNN reported.

“Given the gravity and complexity of this unfolding story, NBC News, NBC News NOW and MSNBC have remained in rolling breaking news coverage since Saturday evening,” a spokesperson for NBCUniversal News Group said in a statement to CNN. “As we continue to cover this story into the week, the networks will continue to cross simulcast, alternating between NBC News, NBC News NOW and ‘MSNBC Reports,’ so there is one news feed covering this developing situation.”

The two Trump-hating hosts were angry about the decision to pull them from Monday’s broadcast.

“We were told in no uncertain terms on the Sunday evening that there was going to be one news feed across all NBC News channels yesterday,” Scarborough said. “The Today show would be Lester Holt…”

Scarborough continued, “That did not happen! We don’t why that didn’t happen!”

After whining for another minute Scarborough threatened to quit.

“And let me just say, next time we are told there’s going to be a news feed replacing us, we will be in our chairs and the news feed will be us or they can get somebody else to host the show,” Scarborough said.

High School Videos Emerge of Alleged Trump Assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks

High school videos from alleged Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks have emerged.

The TikTok user @CursedAlways claims to have gone to high school at Bethel Park High School with Crooks. Crooks allegedly graduated from Bethel Park as part of the Class of 2022.

According to federal authorities, Crooks acted alone and they cannot figure out a motive as to why he would attempt to assassinate Donald Trump.

However, our federal authorities are notoriously unable to determine the motive of supposed shooters like alleged Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, whose motive has been impossible for the FBI to determine since the shooting on October 1, 2017, nearly seven years ago.

The FBI was similarly unable to determine a motive for the Nashville Covenant School Shooter from late March 2023. The FBI still can’t figure out a motive for the 2022 Uvalde shooting in Texas that killed 19 children and 2 teachers.

Many of the FBI’s purported criminal motives in the past have been laughably stupid, such as when it said the Nashville Bomber from 2020 was motivated by ‘eccentric conspiracy theories’ and that the 2016 shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Miami had nothing to do with it being a gay bar or that the killer was a radical Islamist.

But federal authorities are very insistent that this 20 year old, just 2-3 years older than the boy pictured in these videos, was the attempted assassin of President Trump and absolutely nobody else was involved, especially not anyone from the inside who may have helped direct and steer this kid exactly which rooftop to go on, and could help reduce the overall security at the event to make it easier for an assassin to prevail such as by removing all ‘line of sight’ to the President.

REPORT: Jill Biden and Her Top Advisor Orchestrated the Hiring of DEI-Loving Secret Service Director, Who Refuses to Resign After Failing to Protect Trump

Credit: the Blaze

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Subsequent reports have revealed the numerous avoidable failures by the Secret Service to protect Trump and take out the gunman. Humiliating footage of petite females struggling to cover the 45th president and escort him out of harm’s way has also emerged.

Blame for this horrifying moment in American history has rightfully focused on DEI-loving Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who has refused to resign. Reports have revealed that instead of hiring the best possible agents, Cheatle has focused on ensuring more non-white and female agents regardless of qualifications.

In fact, her agency has set a goal of ensuring the Secret Service is 30% female by 2030, despite the fact women biologically are generally smaller and weaker than males.

This begs the question of why such a politically correct person was heading the Secret Service. According to the New York Post, all fingers point to Joe Biden’s wife Jill. It turns out she had a close relationship with Cheatle, which helped her land the job.

The Post notes that Cheatle, who served on Jill’s security detail, was well-liked by the “First Lady” and her staff, including top advisor Anthony Bernal.

The outlet further reveals Berna lobbied extensively for Cheatle to become Secret Service Director presumably at his boss’s behest. More infuriatingly, Anthony had no experience in law enforcement or experience so he should have been ignored.

Yet he and Jill got their way to the detriment of Trump.

From the New York Post:

Embattled Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who is facing congressional outcry and calls to resign over security lapses leading to former President Donald Trump’s near-assassination Saturday, landed her role thanks largely to a close relationship with First Lady Jill Biden, The Post has learned.

Four sources close to President Biden’s family, including people who interacted with Cheatle during the Obama-Biden administration, said she was well-liked by the future first lady and her most senior aides, including top adviser Anthony Bernal.

Cheatle served on Dr. Biden’s second lady detail and Anthony pushed for her, a Democratic insider told The Post. Anthony has no national security or law enforcement experience. He should have no influence over the selection of the USSS director.”

“I heard at the time she was being considered for director that Anthony had pushed her forward as an option,” another well-placed source told The Post.

This report also provides a plausible explanation for why resources were reportedly diverted from Trump’s rally to Dr. Jill’s poorly attended campaign event in Pittsburgh. When someone owes their job to another, favors are sometimes sought in return.

UFC’s Dana White Speaks Out After Attempted Assassination of President Trump: “This Guy is the Legitimate, Ultimate American Badass of All Time” (Video)

President of UFC Dana White joins Pat McAfee./Image: Video screenshot.

Passionate and loyal Trump supporter Dana White, President of UFC,  joined Pat McAfee to discuss the failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

The tragic event took the life of  Trump supporter Corey Comperatore, and left others battling for their lives

McAfee asked, “How is he? And what does your week look like? And was there ever a thought of him going to UFC Denver?”

White replied, “No, he was never going to UFC Denver. I was on a plane to Italy, so he wouldn’t go to the UFC unless I was there, number one.”

“Number two, I’ve been saying this forever about this guy. He is one of the toughest, most resilient human beings that I have ever met in my life. And let me tell you what, everybody wants to act like a tough guy, right? Everybody wants to act like a tough guy. Well, Well, when the sh** goes down, you find out who tough guys are and who tough guys are not.”

“This guy is the legitimate, ultimate American badass of all time.”

“The guy takes a shot at him He goes down, he stands up, and then he starts chatting to the crowd, fight, fight, fight. I literally was blown away. I called him…as soon as I landed, I called him and he answered, and he was already home from the hospital.”

“When we talked for 30 minutes, Pat, I’m telling you, I have never known a human being like this in my life. He’s literally one of the toughest, most badass guys of all time. Listen, you don’t like him. You can say whatever you want about him.”

“It is undebatable now. Literally, undebatable. This sniper tried to take a shot at him and missed him by a millimeter. A bullet through the ear.”

“I had a buddy in Boston when we grew up, and a bunch of guys tried to kill him one night outside of a bar. And he was never the same again. He was never the same. He literally moved out of South Boston and went down South Shore and was never the same again mentally after that happened to him.”

“This guy is almost 80 years old. The guy tried to blow his head off. And to have the reaction that he did when he got up, this guy has been a friend of mine for 25 years. He’s one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever an unbelievable friend, and he is forever now the ultimate American badass. That picture that you just showed will go down in history 100 years after we’re dead.”

Far-Left Jack Black, Who Laughed as His Bandmate Joked ‘Don’t Miss Trump Next Time,’ Abruptly Cancels Tour After Australian Senator Calls for Band’s Deportation

Far-left and Joe Biden backer Jack Black has abruptly canceled his ongoing tour with the rock band Tenacious D following a controversy that erupted after his bandmate made an outrageous comment about former President Donald Trump.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Jack Black is facing major backlash after his bandmate said, “Don’t miss Trump next time” while on stage at a concert in Sydney, Australia.

Black’s bandmate made the sickening comment just hours after the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In a video of the concert, Black is seen giving his Tenacious D band member Kyle Gass a birthday cake during their concert at the ICC Sydney Theatre.

Black tells Gass to “make a wish.”

Gass proceeded to wish, “Don’t miss Trump next time.”

Some members of the crowd reacted with “ohs,” while others laughed.

The repercussions were swift. Ralph Babet, an Australian Senator and Leader of the United Australia Party, has called for the immediate deportation of Tenacious D, condemning the remark as insensitive and inappropriate given the serious nature of the referenced event.

In response to the growing backlash, Jack Black issued a statement:

I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.

After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.

Mission Creep and DEI in the Secret Service

If you ask most people about the role of the Secret Service, they would say it protects the president and presidential candidates. However, the Secret Service now has various other functions unrelated to presidential protection, raising the question of whether guarding the president should be an “also.”

Additionally, the president used to be guarded by big, strong men. Why is it wrong to consider that men and women have different skills and sizes, and perhaps guarding the president should remain the domain of big, strong men?

The “Our Protective Mission” section of the Secret Service website explains that its original mission of presidential protection was approved by Congress in 1906. However, the current mission is much broader, stating: “One Integrated Mission, Protect our nation’s leaders and financial infrastructure.” It outlines four mission areas:

National Security: Protect world leaders, major events, and key locations.

Public Safety: Share threat assessment expertise for public safety.

Economic Safeguard: Protect the integrity of U.S. currency.

Cyber Investigations: Fight cybercrime to safeguard America’s financial infrastructure.

Mission creep could be one reason the Secret Service has struggled with its original mission, leading to numerous failures. This includes two dead presidents, one dead presidential candidate, and attempted assassinations on six U.S. presidents, two of whom were shot.

Additionally, attempted assassinations on presidential candidates have resulted in three being shot. Guarding the president and presidential candidates should be a priority, not a brief mention in the mission statement.

Following the failed assassination attempt on President Trump, widely circulated videos demonstrated the apparent ineptitude of female Secret Service agents.

This prompted Valentina Gomez, who is seeking the GOP nomination for Missouri Secretary of State, to comment on X, “My security detail is all men. Tier 1 operators and SEAL Team Six are all men. These women are diversity hires by the SS.”

The United States Secret Service has an Affirmative Action and a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Program, which covers, among other things, “sex (including pregnancy).”

This means a pregnant woman theoretically cannot be barred from being hired or from guarding the president. Currently, nearly 25% of agents are female.

However, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, a former employee of PepsiCo, has expressed her goal to increase the percentage of female agents to 30% by the end of the decade.

They claim that affirmative action does not mean passing over qualified candidates to meet quotas, but that is a mathematical fallacy. If agents were hired based on quality and qualifications alone, no specific diversity goal could be set or reached.

Moreover, physical standards for women are lower than for men, making female agents generally weaker and smaller. For example, the U.S. Army’s physical fitness standards for men aged 22-26 require 71 pushups, 80 sit-ups, and a 2-mile run in 13 minutes for a maximum score.

Women in the same age bracket need only 46 pushups, 80 sit-ups, and a 2-mile run in 15:36. For an excellent rating on the Secret Service fitness test, men aged 20-29 must complete 11 chin-ups, while women need only four.

In 2021, the 387th class of agents graduated, marking the first-time women trainees outnumbered men. It seems statistically unlikely that in 2021, the average man became weaker.

Until 1971, all Secret Service agents were male and had to meet height and weight standards. Today, there are no such requirements. The height requirement ensured that agents were the same height or taller than most presidents, making them more effective shields.

In photos from the attempted assassination of President Trump, a female agent, about five foot five, is shown trying to protect Trump with her smaller body.

These female agents were much shorter than Trump, who is reported to be six foot three, and smaller than the male agents, who were closer to Trump’s height. The female agents only reached Trump’s chest, effectively protecting his abdomen, which was already covered by a bulletproof vest.

Some of the video footage shows a female Secret Service agent awkwardly attempting to holster her weapon and then giving up. This is likely due to a combination of a lack of training and the interference of a protective vest.

Bulletproof vests are the same thickness for both women and men, but women’s shorter arms make it harder for them to draw or holster their weapons as easily as men with longer arms.

Mobility issues with female agents are another concern. The weight of a protective vest, weapon, ammunition, communication equipment, and other gear is essentially the same for both men and women.

However, this weight represents a larger percentage of a woman’s body weight, making it harder for her to move quickly or maintain stamina. Combined with lower physical fitness and strength requirements, this seems to create a prescription for ineffectiveness.

Conservatives are criticizing DEI and blaming female agents, arguing that big, strong men should be guarding the president. However, under the rules of woke, has anyone considered if any of these women identify as a big, strong man? That would be a loophole.

Pastor Makes Hilarious Impression of Trump at RNC, Trump Reacts With Big Smile (VIDEO)

On the first night of the Republican National Convention, President Trump appeared on stage and was met with huge applause.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday night, Trump wore a white bandage on his right ear as he was welcomed on stage with his family.

Trump did not give a speech on day one of the RNC but is scheduled to speak to delegates on Thursday evening.

One of the night’s highlights was when Pastor James A. Roemke of Kenosha’s Messiah Lutheran Church took the stage and made a hilarious impression of Trump.

Rev. Roemke, while making a facial and voice impression of Trump, shared, “You’re going to be so blessed, you’re going to be tired of being blessed. I guarantee it. Believe me.”

Per The Milwaukee Journal:

Before a Wisconsin pastor gave a benediction at the Republican National Convention Monday night, he delivered one heck of a Donald Trump impression — in front of the former president himself.

“It’s a great pleasure to be here,” Rev. James A. Roemke of Kenosha’s Messiah Lutheran Church addressed the crowd from Fiserv Forum’s stage. “A great pleasure to see President Donald Trump safe.”

The audience clapped as a touched Trump appeared to say “thank you.”

“If I may before the benediction, give you this promise,” Roemke continued.

Then, the pastor switched into a Trump-sounding voice complete with Trump-like hand gestures and facial expressions.

After the light-hearted moment, Rev. Roemke proceeded to pray for the United States and President Trump.
