With the performance of Joe Biden at the June 27, 2024 Presidential Debates, the question arises of protocol for leadership of the nation.

The 25th Amendment, normally entitled, “Addressing the Presidential Succession Process” is the standing Constitutional guidance for transition of power from a President to the Vice President.

The left howls routinely about this when a President with an (R)  is in office, but until the dumpsterfire on of June 27, there were crickets with (D)s about (D)s.

With President Joe Biden, a growing and strong Democrat chorus is being heard that the current Commander in Chief has substantive cognitive issues.  Dr. Sanjay Gupta, of CNN is a trained neurosurgeon and has called for a cognitive review.

Congressman Rich McCormick (R-GA-6), a Doctor also, is concerned that Biden has Lewy Body Dementia.  Bob Woodward, a Washington Post Investigative Journalist, deriving his notoriety from Watergate and the takedown of the Nixon Administration, was concerned that June 27 was a “political H-bomb” in regards to Biden’s cognitive abilities.

This brings up additional nuclear issues related to the 25th Amendment.  More specifically the concern over America’s nuclear command and control

Does the current Commander in Chief have the mental acuity to carry out nuclear command and control?

Many might have heard about the “nuclear football”.  A more official title, the “President’s Emergency Satchel.  Historian William Burr calls the satchel a, “nominally secret command-and-control system used to assure presidential control of nuclear use decisions”.

The “football” or satchel started with President Eisenhower and has evolved since then.  It can weigh up to about 45 pounds, so it can be quite a substantial satchel.  Russia and Pakistan are known to have equivalents.

China mimics most everything the U.S. does, so it is likely that President Xi has one also. The height of the U.S. nuclear arsenal was the 1960s when perhaps 35,000 nuclear warheads existed in the American inventory.

Now, in a much more dangerous world with a relentless Chinese military buildup, including a frenzy in building up their nuclear force, the American nuclear force is down to about 1,500 strategic warheads and around 1,000 – 2,000 small, tactical nuclear warheads, so potentially the “football” has gone through significant weight reduction.

In 2022, the Biden Team changed the previous clear and simple nuclear policy of, “The U.S. reserves the right to use nuclear weapons” to “As long as nuclear weapons exist, the fundamental role of U.S. nuclear weapons is to deter nuclear attack on the United States, our allies, and partners.

The U.S. would only consider the use of nuclear weapons in extreme circumstances to defend the vital interests of the United States or its allies and partners.”  Using the words of Donald J. Trump, I’m not sure I know what this means and I don’t think the Biden Team knows this either.

The underlying legal authority for a President to use nuclear weapons is actually fuzzy – but one thing that is not fuzzy, it presumes a President who can pass the 25th Amendment test, and even his own party is challenging Biden’s ability to serve.

We used to exhaustively assess foreign leaders, China and Russia still do

The assessment of foreign leaders by a special group at the CIA used to be a high art form.  The depth and scope of the analysis by psychiatrists and psychologists and other experts was legendary.

With the end of the Cold War and other priorities like spying on Presidential Candidates, that art form may have slipped downward on the priorities list.   It is unclear if this capability exists inside the U.S. Intelligence Community to anything like the scope and scale that it used to.

The Chinese Intelligence assault on the non-China aligned world can only be described as the most aggressive, pervasive, and expansive the United States has ever faced.

Taking a cue from the American playbook, as they often do, China and Russia likely expend immense resources maintaining their leader profiles and books of other nations, especially the United States.

What they have possibly collected, analyzed, and interpreted on President Biden is that he is cognitively disabled, coddled by his wife and inner circle, and is not really performing Presidential duties like any post World War II American President.  They may possibly conclude, they are facing an America without a President.  This can only lead to dark and sinister intent on next steps.

Is there a window of nuclear vulnerability until January?

There are five countries listed as foreign adversaries in U.S. Law, China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela as led by the Maduro Regime.  If they haven’t already concluded that President Biden is having cognitive issues, June 27 likely tipped them in that direction.

With President Xi, the leader of the rogue’s gallery, assessing whether it will be easier to topple America with Biden, Harris, Newsom, Whitmer, or Donald “Teddy Roosevelt” Trump (DJT’s new honorific after July 13) at the Presidential Desk, the answer is obvious.

Would the “No Limits” Gang try something including a possible large scale attack on the U.S.before January 20, 2025?  The danger and risks are high.  America needs functional leadership now if for no other reason, to make sure America is protected from foreign adversaries with nuclear weapons.

The disgraced former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke in front of a nearly empty room at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Johnson, who was forced out of office after leading one of the most left-wing governments in history, was caught addressing rows of empty seats.

The Daily Mirror reports:

Humiliating photos obtained by the Mirror show the former Prime Minister addressing rows of unfilled seats in a hotel ballroom in Milwaukee. Mr Johnson has been scrambling to stay in the spotlight with speeches, newspaper columns and a looming memoir since quitting in disgrace as an MP following the Partygate scandal.

The ex-PM spoke on a panel about the UK and US elections alongside Kellyanne Conway, who served as a White House adviser when Mr Trump was President and now hosts a Fox News show. The pair sat in white armchairs flanked by UK and US flags, with a backdrop promoting Vapor Technology Association, an American lobbying organisation for vapes. Just a few dozen people came to see Mr Johnson speak at the Pfister hotel despite more than 50,000 people due in Milwaukee for the convention.

Since resigning in July 2022, Johnson has spent most his time making the case for arming Ukraine and boasting about his handling of Britain’s COVID vaccine rollout.

Meanwhile, the party he once led was condemned to a near wipeout in the UK general election, handing power over to the left-wing Labour Party.

Other British politicians attending the convention in Milwaukee include former Prime Minister Liz Truss, who has endorsed Donald Trump’s bid for re-election.

Days after the failed assassination attempt against Donald Trump, CNN commentator Van Jones shows no sign of toning down his rhetoric.

Discussing Trump’s announcement that Ohio Senator J.D. Vance will serve as his running mate, Jones described his ideology as a “dangerous virus” that risks infecting America.

He explained:

Trump…is an instinctive, impulsive, intuitive nationalist. JD Vance is an ideological nationalist. That’s a much more dangerous virus because he can polish this stuff and make it seem palatable to people. He can sell this stuff to Silicon Valley.

He can sell this stuff other places. And what it does is it locks the Republican Party on a pathway that I think is dangerous for the world. Again, the Ukrainians are now in deep trouble. NATO is now in deep trouble. Trump is he could have gone with it with a Nikki Haley and signal to the world.

Hey, listen, I gotta give stuff to my base, but I’m not going to abandon the world. This pic is a horror on the world stage. So JD Vance matters because I don’t. Trump is joining the Republican Party in a very scary direction for the long term.

The fatal brown bear attack against a 19-year-old female tourist hiker sent shocks across the Romanian societies, prompting the head of government to recall lawmakers from their recess in order to vote legislation tackling the ‘overpopulation’ of bears in the country.

And the Parliamentarians apparently came back with a vengeance, approving measures that many may feel are extreme.

CBS reported:

“Romania’s parliament on Monday approved the culling of almost 500 bears this year in a bid to control the protected species’ ‘overpopulation’ after a deadly attack on a 19-year-old hiker sparked nationwide outcry.”

The bear reportedly attacked the young woman on the trail, dragged her into the vegetation and dropped her into a chasm, coming down after her.

After reportedly trying to attack the rescuers, the bear was shot and killed.

Romania has Europe’s largest brown bear population – outside of Russia. It stands at around 8,000.

Romania has seen 26 people killed and 274 severely injured over the last 20 years.

“After the young hiker was mauled to death on a popular trail in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu summoned lawmakers back from their summer recess to attend an emergency session of parliament.

As well as adopting legislation to control the brown bear population, the parliament held a moment of silence in the 19-year-old hiker’s memory.”

Worried about a ‘overpopulation’ of bears, the lawmakers have authorized the culling of 481 bears in 2024 – that’s more than more than twice last year’s total of 220.

Needless to say, environmental groups have denounced the measure. They advocate for ‘better waste management’ or ‘preventing people from feeding animals’.

In 2023, about 7,500 emergency calls to signal bear sightings were recorded, more than double the previous year, according to data presented last week by Romanian authorities.”

In the aftermath of Saturday’s attempted assassination of President Trump, details are continuing to emerge about the security decisions that made the shooting possible.

Lori Levi has attended every Trump rally selling merchandise except for 10, and noticed major security lapses in the set up and layout of the Trump rally by event organizers.

“I had a terrible feeling. I knew something was wrong. I kept waiting for them to fix the basic security problems, since there was a direct ‘line-of-sight’ to President Trump.”

The FBI and federal authorities have assumed total control over local law enforcement to respond to media inquiries. In an email, the City of Butler police told the Gateway Pundit, “The FBI has assumed the role of the lead federal law enforcement agency in the investigation. The FBI is now issuing all press related material.”

The corrupt FBI has been caught fabricating evidence used against Trump in the Russian collusion hoax case. The FBI was caught by Congress lying to hurt Trump. The FBI has been busy persecuting the January 6th protesters with imaginary criminal offenses. The corrupt FBI has worked to take out Trump by any means necessary.

Even the High School Crooks graduated from is now directing people to the FBI instead of making any additional comments.

Levi, a long-time rally attendee who attends every Trump rally as a vendor selling Trump-related merchandise, tells the Gateway Pundit: “I knew something was wrong the day before when I came to set up in Butler, Pennsylvania.

They weren’t blocking the line of sight like they have in every other location. Typically they would put cranes, or heavy machinery, in the way to block a clear line-of-sight to Trump as a security protocol. I kept thinking that his security detail was going to bring it in later, but they never did.”



“When we came in on Friday, after attending hundreds of Trump rallies, we noticed the situation did not look right. They can’t protect him from here. I just had this terrible feeling. I knew something was off.”

Levi makes clear that at every other Trump rally, the Secret Service made sure that there was no easy long-distance ‘line of sight’ to the President.

Levi says that the security protocol is to create a “layered” barrier to create a ‘line of sight’ protection for President Trump from sniper and would-be assassins.

This protocol was not in place at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, says Levi.

“I assumed they would bring in dump trucks, semi trucks, cranes, to block the line of sight, but they didn’t.”

“I do not believe that some 20 year old kid could have pulled this off,” said Levi. “The Secret Service does not make these kind of mistakes. I don’t believe this story. I think they let him get the shot off first.”

Levi also notes that the security perimeter to protect the typical Donald Trump rally is usually much farther out than it was in Butler, Pennsylvania at the Butler Farm Show Airport.

Other attendees tell the Gateway Pundit that the security problems extend not just to letting a Presidential assassin climb the most obvious building with a direct line-of-sight to the President, but they include a wide variety of other security failures that have as yet gone unreported by the mainstream media.

There were multiple security failures in Butler, Pennsylvania by the President’s official security detail.

Eyewitnesses also relate that the FBI has been vacuuming up photos and video from the event from attendees, and if past procedure is any indication, they will classify and seal all such material as the product of an ‘ongoing law enforcement investigation’ indefinitely.

The evidence and proof of the Trump assassination attempt is being buried right now. Federal law enforcement is starting to blame local law enforcement for the failure, claiming that they were in charge of providing security on the outer perimeter of the rally.

A source close with law enforcement in the area told the Gateway Pundit today that local Sheriff Michael Slupe was instructed to ‘stand down’ and not send extra manpower and SWAT teams to the rally site in advance of the President’s appearance in Butler, a small town of 13,000 in Pennsylvania about 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. This was allegedly done over the objections of Sheriff Slupe.

The Democratic National Committee is reportedly preparing to use some dirty tricks to get Biden over the line.

According to Axios, the DNC is planning to “run out the clock” on his nomination in a bid to quell the growing calls for him to step aside because of his declining mental and physical health.

The report states:

The Democratic National Committee is quietly steaming ahead with plans to technically nominate President Biden weeks before the party’s convention next month, Axios has learned.

It’s the latest effort by Biden’s team to stamp out the Democratic rebellion that’s been pushing for the president to step aside since his bad performance in the June 27 debate.

Once Biden receives votes from a majority of the nearly 4,000 delegates, it will become exceedingly difficult to remove him from atop the Democratic presidential ticket.

The DNC’s current plan is to train state party chairs next week on how to conduct the electronic voting in a secure way. The window for voting is likely to open on July 29 and conclude by Aug. 5, according to people familiar with the matter.

If the working plan for a “virtual roll call” holds, Biden just has to outlast his party’s critics for about two more weeks.

In a statement to Axios, DNC chairman Jamie Harrison did not deny the plans, which some delegates have described as an effort to “put in the fix.”

“We look forward to nominating Joe Biden through a virtual roll call and celebrating with fanfare together in Chicago in August alongside the 99 percent of delegates who are supporting the Biden-Harris ticket,” he said. “We have not announced or finalized any schedules yet.”

Following his disastrous debate performance last month, dozens of Democratic lawmakers, consultants, donors and power brokers have demanded that Biden make way for an alternative candidate.

However, old Joe is digging his heels in and point blank refusing to step aside. “The fact is that, the consideration is that I think I’m the most qualified person to run for president,” Biden said last week. “I beat him once, and I will beat him again.”

In the end, Budanov returned to action and has been a consequential leader ever since, even had his name mentioned as a substitute for dismissed General Valery Zaluzhny, before Oleksandr Syrsky was installed.

But it hasn’t all been good times, as news also emerged that his wife would have been targeted with poison: Ukrainian Spy Chief Budanov’s Wife, Marianne, Reportedly Hospitalized for Heavy Metal Poisoning.

Budanov has been implicated in terrorist attacks that targeted figures from the daughter of Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, to journalists and military correspondents.

But now, the young General has come on the record talking about much bigger fish to fry: the unsuccessful attacks staged by the GRU to try to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Budanov’s revelations start with stories about alleged Russian plots to assassinate him.

He takes that to mean that Ukraine’s special services, including the GRU, ‘are doing their job properly’.

Ukrinform reported:

“‘I like it all. This means that we are doing our job properly. If they suddenly stop being interested in me, that will be a problem’, Budanov said.”

It was just a couple of months ago, that Ukraine’s SBU State Security Service reportedly ‘foiled plans by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) to kill President Volodymyr Zelensky and other top Ukrainian military and political leaders’.

Two colonels from Ukraine’s State Guard Administration who have been accused of passing secret information to the Russians were arrested.

“According to the investigation, FSB agents were tasked with searching for executors among the military close to the president’s security team who could take the head of state hostage and later kill him. In addition to Zelensky, the enemy also planned to assassinate SBU Chief Vasyl Maliuk, Budanov, and other high-ranking officials.”

But the thing that stands out among his many claims in his new PR push is that he talks about ‘several attempts to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin’.

DPA reported:

“‘But as you can see, they were unsuccessful’, Budanov told New Voice, a Ukrainian website. The general did not say what his claim was based on. He also did not say whether his or other Ukrainian intelligence services might have been involved in the plans.

Budanov has made provocative comments in the past, as a form of psychological warfare. The Kremlin responded, with spokesman Dmitry Peskov making clear that the president’s safety would be protected. ‘The threat from the Kiev regime is obvious’, he told TASS state news agency in Moscow.”

As one would expect, Russians had a lot to say about this disclosures by Budanov.

“Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova claimed on Sunday that Ukraine’s plot to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin was financed by the United States.

[…] On Telegram, Zakharova said ‘Yesterday one of the leaders of the Kiev regime, Budanov, admitted that Ukraine’s intelligence was plotting the assassination of the Russian president. This assassination attempt was being prepared, again, with US money, without which there would be no malicious activities of the Ukrainian intelligence, the Ukrainian armed forces, and, general, Bankova Street [government in Kiev]’.”

Republican Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance sat down with Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Monday night in his first interview since the Trump nod.

Regarding the war in Ukraine, Vance said that Trump’s goal will be negotiating peace so that the United States can pivot to China. “I think what President Trump has promised to do is to go in there, negotiate with the Russians and Ukrainians, bring this thing to a rapid close, so that we can focus on the real issue, which is China,” Vance said.

Hannity asked Vance about how he will approach the office of vice president. Vance told Hannity the “need to support the president in enacting the agenda,” is the top priority.

“Why does that matter? Vance continued. “Because that’s what’s going to make people’s lives better.”

Vance also explained his political transformation from Trump critic to Trump supporter, telling Hannity, “What really changed for me, and I think for a lot of Americans, is we saw the results of the Trump presidency compared to the obsessive, deranged media reaction in 2019 and 2020. What’s going on, what’s so bad about this guy that he’s delivered rising wages for American workers and peace in the world? Why is the media so obsessed with him? Tucker Carlson is at the Republican National Convention this week and is speaking to various panels as part of the proceedings.

On Monday, during remarks to one group, Tucker said that Trump has already won the election, citing the powerful image of Trump standing up after the attempt on his life.

Later in the day, Tucker was asked by a reporter from the Daily Signal about the choice of J.D. Vance as Trump’s running mate. Tucker said that Vance is ‘absolutely’ the right choice, saying that he is very smart and a great ally for Trump’s vision:

Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson told Republicans gathering in Milwaukee on Monday that Americans should “be thrilled” by Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick.

Earlier in the day, as the Republican National Convention opened, Trump posted on social media that he had chosen Sen. JD Vance, an Ohio Republican, as his running mate in the Nov. 5 election.

“So now JD Vance is the VP pick, and I think every person who pays close attention has got to be thrilled by that,” Carlson said in a speech to convention delegates…

“I’m going to tell you what I just saw, which is that every bad person I’ve ever met in a lifetime in Washington was aligned against JD Vance,” Carlson quipped to the convention audience, referring to recent speculation by liberal media outlets and others that Trump would pick the conservative Ohio senator.
