President Trump on Monday announced his choice for Vice President: Ohio Senator JD VANCE!

Trump made the announcement on Truth Social.

“After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio. J.D. honorably served our Country in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State University in two years, Summa Cum Laude, and is a Yale Law School Graduate, where he was Editor of The Yale Law Journal, and President of the Yale Law Veterans Association. J.D.’s book, “Hillbilly Elegy,” became a Major Best Seller and Movie, as it championed the hardworking men and women of our Country. J.D. has had a very successful business career in Technology and Finance, and now, during the Campaign, will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American Workers and Farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond….” Trump said on Monday.

President Trump is in Milwaukee at the RNC convention.

It was reported earlier that Senator Marco Rubio and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum were out of the running.

With rumors flying and potential choices being eliminated, Trump took to Truth Social to make the announcement.

In June, The Gateway Pundit reported that Squad member and Hamas sympathizer New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman lost his bid for reelection for New York’s 16th Congressional District.

Now, a new poll shows that Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri may be the next to fall.

The New York Post reports a new McLaughlin & Associates poll shows Bush facing a 23 percentage point deficit against Democrat challenger Wesley Bell, a St. Louis prosecuting attorney.

Rep. Cori Bush trails St. Louis prosecuting attorney Wesley Bell 56% to 33% in the Aug. 6 Democratic Primary for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District, the survey conducted by McLaughlin & Associates for the CCA Action Fund.

The remaining 11% were undecided or backed lesser known candidates, Ron Harshaw and Maria Chappelle-Nadal.

Two-term incumbent Bush is viewed favorably by 50% of registered Democrats and unfavorably by 47%, the survey found.

Some 51% of Democrats disapprove of her job performance while only 46% approve.

By comparison, Bell is viewed favorably by 70% of respondents and unfavorably by just 18%.

TGP reported that the Justice Department launched a criminal probe Bush in January.

According to PunchBowl News, the DOJ subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for records relating to the misspending of federal money.

The Gateway Pundit reported on a bill authored by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) to remove Trump’s Secret Service protection after being convicted on bogus criminal charges in federal and state courts.

The legislation dubbed the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act would apply to all Secret Service protectees convicted and sentenced under felony charges.

“The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act would terminate Secret Service protection for individuals who otherwise qualify for it upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State felony,” the announcement said.

“It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment —and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them,” Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson said according to the Washington Times.

Thompson’s disgusting move has received renewed attention after the failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and the abject failure of the Secret Service.

Thompson attempted to dial back his rhetoric against President Trump on X following the assassination attempt, “There is no room in American democracy for political violence. I am grateful for law enforcement’s fast response to this incident. I am glad the former President is safe, and my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved.”

The Community Notes was ultimately removed after members rated it “not needed,” because why make sure the truth is out there?

Thompson’s office has also been under fire after one of his staffers, Jacqueline Marsaw, was fired following her vile remarks on social media where she shared that wished Thomas Crooks, who targeted former President Donald Trump, ‘should have taken shooting lessons so he wouldn’t miss next time.’

Marsaw took to Facebook on Saturday evening to express her thoughts on the incident where Trump was nearly assassinated, saying, “I don’t condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don’t miss next time ooops that wasn’t me talking.”

In another post, Marsaw wrote, “That’s what your speech got you!!”

By Sunday morning, all of Marsaw’s posts had been deleted. When questioned by the Natchez Democrat, she said, “I got overwhelmed in the moment,” and added, “I am a diehard Democrat.”

Marsaw removed her posts upon instruction from a manager on Thompson’s team. She insisted her post was intended for its comic value and not to be taken seriously.

On the same day, Thompson confirmed to Fox News that he fired Marsaw.

Barry Ramey is a J6 hostage of the Biden Regime, and his family is turning to the American people for help.

Barry and his family are struggling to make ends meet and keep up with the piling bills while he fights his unjust prison sentence.

The Bureau of Prisons provides inmates a 300 to 500 limit of minutes to use the phone per month, depending on the facility.

It’s been almost a year since I last spoke to Barry Ramey. I communicate with the prisoners via mail or email and rely on family members to provide updates on their incarcerated loved ones. I would rather the prisoners use their phone minutes to talk to their families. I spoke with Barry’s fiancé, Desiree, and she provided an update on how Barry is doing within the prison walls.

When I spoke to Barry for the first time in a 2023 interview, he couldn’t freely talk about his case because he had yet to be sentenced. He was very outspoken about Americans making a serious lifestyle change by buying American products from American companies. We got along immediately and became fast friends.

Barry agreed to a phone interview from his DC cell in July 2023, after he was sentenced to 60 months (5 years), 36 months of supervised release, and $2,000 restitution.

In the call from jail, Barry warns U.S. District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich, who presided over his bench trial, was fed lie after lie about his action on Jan. 6  by federal prosecutors.

The judge heard, for more than a year, that he had threatened an FBI agent, drew a firearm on his former landlord, committed assault with a deadly weapon, and was deemed a danger to his community, all untrue allegations by the Justice Department and FBI that must be exposed, Barry contends.

Almost immediately after my interview with Barry, he was moved from the Washington D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility to the Federal Correctional Institution Miami, where he will serve out the remainder of his sentence.  He did not know where he would be housed for the 5-year prison sentence until he arrived at the Florida prison.

The Bureau of Prisons has been choosing facilities for our J6 prisoners that are thousands of miles away from their homes and families.  Fortunately, FCI Miami, where Barry has been housed for almost a year, is in the vicinity of his family. His mother is not in good health, and he had asked to be located near her in his home state of Florida. Barry has since been able to have visits with his mother and fiancé.

When I last spoke with his fiance Desiree, she told me staying in communication with Barry has been challenging as of late.

“Back in May, there was a bloody brawl causing four inmates to be sent to the hospital,” she said. “This happened in the yard while she was having visitation with Barry. Then the entire prison went on lockdown while I was there.”

Several days had passed before she heard from Barry after their visit. There are many reasons a loved one can lose communication with an inmate.

“Several weeks ago, severe weather in Miami caused some of the phones to be inoperable at the Prison, which includes Barry’s unit, and they are still not functioning. So, over the past few weeks, I’ve only been able to communicate with him at visits, which thankfully happen weekly,” Desiree explained.

Knowing she will see him next weekend helps, but the uncertainty of how many weeks or months will go by before the next time she hears from him again remains a constant agony.

Maybe because he is a J6er, but “For some reason, to the best of my knowledge, he is the only prisoner who has mail held back for several weeks before it’s given to him.” Desiree said. “Despite this, I encourage everyone to write to him.  It is so meaningful and uplifting for him to hear from fellow Patriots when he does get his mail.”

“If you do write to Barry, please be patient, he writes everyone back.”

Desiree recently created a website www.OspreySensei.com, which features photographs and stories about Barry’s plight following Jan. 6 and ways to keep in touch with Barry and their family.

Barry and his family are keenly aware that these are hard times for everyone and appreciate any help you can give even if it just a prayer for him, his family, and his J6 brethren.

I look at life from a unique perspective: as a true-blue Barry Goldwater/Ronald Reagan conservative patriot since age 3; as a capitalist evangelist who has started dozens of successful businesses; as a blue-collar S.O.B. (son of a butcher) turned Ivy Leaguer; and perhaps most importantly, as a Messianic Jew. I took Jesus Christ as my savior 34 years ago.

Maybe that’s why I saw something in Donald J. Trump that others could not see.

I’ve written and spoken on my TV shows so many times about “The Trump Miracle” and about Trump being “The Chosen One”- chosen by God for this moment.

I even co-wrote the hit song and video about Trump titled, “The Chosen One.” Liberal heads exploded. Many mocked the song. Yet in the past month since it was released, “The Chosen One” has been viewed on TikTok over 680 million times. Who’s laughing now?

Do you believe in miracles? Look at just the past 48 hours…

*Trump avoids assassination by ¼ of an inch. A miracle.

*Trump is endorsed by the world’s richest man, Elon Musk- who has always hated him. Now Elon gives a large donation to Trump’s campaign. Miracle.

*Trump’s classified documents case is dismissed this morning on the first day of the RNC presidential convention. Miracle.

Don’t forget the Supreme Court immunity decision only days ago.

And pay attention to all the Wall Street and Silicon Valley billionaires joining forces with Trump for the first time ever. These are people who always hated and opposed Trump.

The miracles, and angels, and hand of God are all around President Donald J. Trump. Now everyone can see it.

But I am proud to say I saw it first- when few others did…

The day Trump declared for President in June of 2015, when Trump was at 1% in the polls, and many laughed at his chances of winning, Fox News published my commentary titled, “Donald J. Trump is our next President.”

In early 2016, Fox News published my commentary titled, “Christians for Trump” that went viral. I declared Trump was “the chosen one”- hand chosen and sent directly by God to be our warrior, our Biblical-like barbarian, to save both America and Israel.

In 2019 while hosting my popular primetime Newsmax TV show, I created a global firestorm by calling President Trump “the King of the Jews” and “The Chosen One.” Trump thanked me three times the next day on Twitter, then walked onto the White House lawn and proclaimed, “I am the Chosen One.”

In 2023, after all the indictments and persecution of Trump, I wrote multiple commentaries about “The Trump Miracle” and once again branded him as “the Chosen One”- chosen by God to be a warrior to make America great again.

Then a month ago, I partnered with Platinum-selling Christian artist Natasha Owens and her Grammy-nominated team to co-write a song and video about President Trump titled, “The Chosen One.”

Liberal heads exploded across America. Many on the left wrote disturbing hate speech about the song. The vitriol was over the top. It brought out new strains of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Now, 680 million listeners later at TikTok, reaching as high as #29 in the world at the iTunes pop chart, it’s clear the message about Trump being “the Chosen One” is resonating.

By comparison, Natasha Owen’s mega hit “Trump Won and You Know It” went Platinum and it was only listened to 100 million times at TikTok.

Yes, after only one month, “The Chosen One” has received almost 7 times the listeners of a Platinum hit!

After all that occurred the past 48 hours, perhaps you’re starting to understand what’s happening to Trump is supernatural. It’s Biblical. It’s a miracle.

President Trump himself understands. He said today, “It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening.”

Liberal TV commentator Bill Maher said: “I gotta say this. He’s the luckiest motherf***er that has ever walked the face of the Earth.”

It’s not luck, Bill. It’s the hand of God.

What I’ve said from the first day he came down the Trump Tower escalator is, Trump is touched by God, he has been chosen by God, he is being protected by God.

Trump is like a barbarian in the Bible chosen by God for a special role. He is the perfect man, at the perfect time, in the perfect place, to stop this evil, communist, fascist, government-weaponized, “enemies-from-within” takeover of America.

It’s Trump against the world- the Deep State, DC Swamp, the entire US political establishment, globalist billionaires around the world, our enemies in China, Russia, Iran, and the entire corrupt US justice system.

And with all that, the enemies of Trump and America never stood a chance.

I was reading the Bible this morning and I found the perfect verse that explains the success of Donald Trump…

Isiah 40:30-31

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

It’s almost like God created this verse for Donald Trump and this moment in history.

Trump is our energy.

Trump renews our strength.

With Trump, we mount up with wings like eagles.

With Trump we run, we are not weary.

Trump inspires us. Trump gives us hope. Trump gives us confidence in victory. Trump gives us just a touch of arrogance. Maybe God understands that’s exactly what we need right at this last possible moment to save America.

This man is our warrior. This man is our miracle. This man is our “Chosen One.”

On Saturday, following the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Dmitri Mehlhorn, the top political adviser to billionaire LinkedIn co-founder and rabid anti-Trump Reid Hoffman, sent a disturbing email to journalists.

Mehlhorn thought it was the perfect time to suggest the tragic incident that took the life of Corey Comperatore and left others battling for their lives was possibly a “false flag” and “staged.”

Semafor reported that Mehlhorn wrote that one “possibility – which feels horrific and alien and absurd in America, but is quite common globally – is that this ‘shooting’ was encouraged and maybe even staged so Trump could get the photos and benefit from the backlash.”

Mehlhorn also used the “Russia, Russia, Russia” approach and wrote that false flag attacks were “a classic Russian tactic” used by Vladimir Putin to win power in 1999 and that other examples of the “tactic of committing raw evil and then benefiting from the backlash include Hamas on October 7.”

He did concede that another possibility “is that some crazy anti-Trumper in this chaotic moment decided to assassinate the former President.”

Semafor reported that Mehlhorn is inclined to believe the false flag theory.

“I know I am prone to bias on this, but this is a classic Putin play and given the facts seems more plausible,” he wrote. “Look at the actual shot. Look at the staging. Look at how ready Trump is to rally; this pampered baby sh– his pants when an eagle lunged at this food. Look at how quickly Trump protects himself at the expense of others, but showed few of those lifelong instincts in this moment. And consider how often Putin and his allies run this play.”

“I know it feels yucky to discuss such a possibility. But in this case, the odds are so high, and the stakes so consequential, we must as[k] the question,” Mehlhorn continued. “Ask the question, people. If it proves wrong, we should respond appropriately to a non-staged act of political violence, as outlined above. But your credibility and our entire system of truth and justice depends on being certain of the answer.”

The former President Donald Trump’s brush with death Saturday has put into stark relief the importance of whom Trump chooses as his running mate. Americans were reminded that Trump could be gone in an instant. Somebody would have to pick up and carry the torch. 

The assassination attempt on the former president has put a pause on some campaign activities despite the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. President Joe Biden’s campaign has put a hold on advertisements attacking Trump—especially those that claim Trump is a threat to democracy.

“We understand that there are a lot of questions, and as we gather answers to those questions, we ask that all staff refrain from issuing any comments on social media or in public,” the Biden campaign co-chair Jennifer O’Malley Dillon and campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez wrote in a statement announcing the hold. “We’re also asking everyone to pause any proactive campaign communication across all platforms and in all circumstances until we know more.”

Trump could announce his running mate any minute. When he does, that VP pick will instantly be under the most scrutiny any Number Two has undergone in recent memory. Biden and the Democrats may hold their tongues on Trump for the next few days, but it will be open season on the man that could be one heartbeat away from the most powerful political office in the world.

Don’t be mistaken—the subtext of the attacks on the Trump VP are undoubtedly clear. Which means Trump’s pick should not be for “Republican unity” or for “coalition building.” They must be someone who is battle-tested and truly carry out Trump’s vision after he’s gone.

President Trump on Monday announced his Vice Presidential pick today.

Fox News’ Bret Baier said Trump will make the announcement at 4:30 PM ET today in Milwaukee.

“There will be a roll call vote on the presidential ticket, which includes the vice president, on Monday at the RNC.” – ABC News reported.

The top four choices so far include Senator JD Vance from Ohio, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.

Trump arrived in Milwaukee for the RNC Convention on Sunday just 24 hours after a would-be assassin shot him in the ear at a Pennsylvania rally.

President Trump, in his latest message on Truth Soicla, called for the Secret Service to give immediate protection to Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Secret Service has denied Kennedy, the son of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of John F. Kennedy, who were both assassinated, Secret Service protection three times.

Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social,”In light of what is going on in the world today, I believe it is imperative that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. receive Secret Service protection immediately.”

Trump added, “Given the history of the Kennedy Family, this is the obvious right thing to do!”

Shortly after the attempted assassination attempt against Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, there has been a growing call for the Secret Service to protect Kennedy.

Per The Hill:

Shortly after the shooting at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pa., where the former president was injured and one attendee was killed, political figures from both sides of the aisle emphasized the need for Kennedy to receive Secret Service protection.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) on Saturday night called on the Biden administration to grant Kennedy’s request for protection.

“I encourage @POTUS to immediately provide secret service protection for@RobertKennedyJr,” Polis wrote on the social platform X.

The Secret Service is authorized to protect major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election. The Homeland Security secretary, in consultation with an advisory committee of House and Senate leadership, determines which candidates are in that “major” category.

Last year, Kennedy requested Secret Service protection after a man was arrested for intruding into his home twice on the same day.

In an ongoing investigation, the FBI continues to delve into the motives behind Thomas Matthew Crooks’ attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. Despite having analyzed 70% of the suspect’s cell phone data, the bureau has yet to uncover any significant leads.

As previously reported by The Gateway Pundit, the FBI obtained Crooks’ cell phone, hoping it would provide crucial insights into his motivations for the attack.

The suspect’s cell phone, which could hold vital clues to understanding the motivations behind the attack, has been transported to the FBI’s forensic lab in Quantico. However, the bureau has failed to access any data so far.

Laura Ingraham, on her prime-time show, said, “The FBI is telling Fox they believe the shooter acted alone. We’re also learning that they can’t get into his cell phone. They have it at Quantico, but haven’t been able to get any data out of it.”

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, raised questions about this development via Twitter. “How do they know he acted alone if they can’t get into his phone?” Musk wrote.

According to a new update from CNN, investigators are nearing completion of their analysis of Crooks’ cell phone.

A law enforcement official revealed that they are about 70% done with their examination but have yet to find any evidence pointing toward a motive for the assassination attempt.

The official further added that investigators are expected to start analyzing Crooks’ laptop soon in hopes of finding additional clues.

Crooks’ parents have been cooperating with law enforcement since the incident. According to the same official, they reported that their son did not seem to have many friends and exhibited no apparent political leanings.

Recall that The Gateway Pundit reported that Crooks was a registered Republican — but donated to Democrat organizations.

Many liberals registered to vote as Republicans during the primaries to throw support behind Nikki Haley to sabotage Trump. Pennsylvania is a closed primary state, meaning that independents and Democrats are not eligible to vote for the Republican nominee unless they switch parties.

Crooks made several small donations to ActBlue and the Democrat National Committee.
