President Trump zinged a reporter asking if he will visit the site of the American Airlines plane crash.

Trump signed a series of executive orders from the Oval Office on Thursday after a Blackhawk helicopter crashed into an American Airlines plane near Reagan Airport on Wednesday evening.

67 people died after the two aircraft collided over the Potomac.

First responders pulled bodies out of the icy Potomac river on Wednesday and Thursday. There were no survivors.

Trump’s new Executive Order mandates that only the most competent and qualified people are hired as air traffic controllers.

New Acting FAA administrator, Christopher Rocheleau and newly-confirmed Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy will be tasked with undoing Biden’s dangerous FAA DEI policies.

“We want the most competent people, no matter what race they are,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Thursday. “If they don’t have a great brain, a great power of the brain, they’re not going to be very good at what they do.”

A reporter asked President Trump if he has plans to visit the crash site.

“Do you have a plan to go visit the site?” a reporter asked Trump.

“I have a plan to visit – what’s the site? The water? Do you want me to go swimming?” Trump said.

“Well, to me, it’s the first responders down there,” the reporter said.

South African Farmer as depicted in the music video “Die Land”

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has signed a bill into law that will allow the government to seize property from farmers based on their skin color. Farmers’ rights organization AfriForum vowed to fight the Expropriation Bill in court, and the second-largest ruling party threatened to leave the coalition.

So-called “Expropriation without Compensation” has been debated in South Africa for many years, as the left-wing African National Congress (ANC) party complained that the majority of land is still in the hands of white farmers. In reality, the largest share of land in South Africa (14%) is owned by the government. On Jan. 23,  President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the Expropriation Bill into law:

“Local, provincial and national authorities will use this legislation to expropriate land in the public interest for varied reasons that seek, among others, to promote inclusivity and access to natural resources.” The law expressly allows the government to take away farms if “the expropriating authority has without success attempted to reach an agreement with the owner or holder of a right in property for the acquisition thereof on reasonable terms.”

Non-white Landowners own 26.7% of agricultural land and control more than 46% of South Africa’s agricultural potential, News 24 reported. “Twice as much land has been transferred to black entrepreneurs and farmers through ordinary commercial purchases than the state has managed to buy for black owners as part of its land redistribution programme,” a study found.

South Africa has been governed by a “Government of National Unity” (GNU) since the ANC lost its absolute majority in 2024, which it held since the end of Apartheid in 1994. The ANC currently rules together with the second-largest party, the reform-oriented Democratic Alliance, the majority Zulu Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), and the right-wing Patriotic Alliance (PA).

Now, that coalition is in danger of falling apart after less than one year.

DA Leader John Steenhuisen said that recent weeks have made it increasingly clear that the ANC “has lost interest in honoring its side of the relationship.” The ANC had “taken to openly disrespecting partners and undermining the trust upon which any coalition government is built.”

In his statement at the ANC’s January 8 anniversary, President Ramaphosa was quoted as saying that although the ANC failed to secure more than 50 percent in the elections, “the ANC is still in charge,” Steenhuisen said, calling Ramaphosa’s behavior “immature.”

Steenhuisen chided the ANC Minister of Health Aaron Motsoaledi for “declaring war” on the Government of National Unity at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Motsoaledi told world leaders he is fighting a “war” against the people of South Africa.

“This is not how mature colleagues behave,” Steenhuisen said, calling it “arrogant and disrespectful.”

Minority civil rights organization AfriForum stated it will launch “substantial legal action to protect private property rights” in South Africa “in the event that the government targets property for expropriation without compensation.”

“AfriForum will do everything in its power to protect citizens against expropriation without compensation. We seem to be the last real lines of defense left,” said AfriForum spokesman Ernst van Zyl, stating the government “has declared war on private property owners with the signing of this Bill into law.”.

AfriForum today announced a three-point plan to fight the Expropriation Act at a media conference in Centurion: “Wherever the undermining of private property rights has occurred, such as in Zimbabwe and Venezuela, it has had catastrophic economic consequences. We must therefore use every option available to us in our resistance against this destructive law,” said AfriForum spokesman Van Zyl.

On Jan, 24, the ANC government also proposed a 100 billion Rand ($5.361 billion), slush fund or “Transformation Fund” for “economic redress and inclusive growth” following the racist quotas of the so-called Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Act, which obligates the government to “increase the effective economic participation of black-owned and managed enterprises, including small, medium, and micro enterprises and cooperatives, and enhance their access to financial and non-financial support.”

B-BBEE are essentially race quotas for all South African businesses and ownership that serve as a gargantuan self-enrichment program for corrupt ANC officials.

President Cyril Ramaphosa was a union activist all his career and is accused of having ordered the police massacre of 34 striking miners at the Marikana mines 2012. He is now one of Africa’s wealthiest people, with an estimated net worth of $450 million.

South Africa currently has over 141 race laws, of which at least 116 came into effect after the advent of “democracy” in South Africa in 1994. AfriForum has published a detailed report on racist legislation in South Africa, available here.

The government has also passed the so-called BELA law (Basic Education Laws Amendment), which gives the government the right to regulate Afrikaans-language schools. AfriForum has called the BELA Bill “an attempt at cultural ethnic cleansing by the ANC government,” as the implementation of the Bill “will enable the destruction of a linguistic and cultural community’s schools, thereby jeopardising the group’s cultural existence.”

Afrikaans schools, monuments and institutions are under constant attack in South Africa. English and Afrikaner place names have already been largely eliminated and Afrikaans has been banned as a language at university level. The civil rights organizations Solidarity, AfriForum and the Solidarity Support Centre for Schools (SCS) have started legal action against the BELA Act.

Multiple sources, including family and friends, have confirmed that Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Eaves was one of the pilots aboard the Black Hawk helicopter. He is survived by his wife and children.

Earlier, Fox News obtained exclusive information regarding the crew members aboard the Army helicopter at the time of the accident. The instructor pilot commanding the Black Hawk boasted 1,000 flying hours.

Meanwhile, his co-pilot was a woman with 500 flying hours, which is considered to be a standard level of experience in aviation circles.

Now, the Local newspaper, The Macon Beacon, first reported the incident on its Facebook page, detailing the community’s loss.

“Noxubee County is mourning the death of native son Andrew Eaves. His wife has confirmed reports that he was among the military Blackhawk pilots who died in last nights crash with airliner in Washington, D.C. Andrew was a Central Academy graduate who grew up in the Brooksville area,” the post read.

Eaves’ wife, Carrie Eaves, confirmed his death in a heartfelt post on Facebook.

“I am sure by now all of you have heard the news of the tragedy that has occurred in DC,” Eaves wrote.

“My husband was one of the pilots in the Blackhawk. We ask that you pray for our family and friends and for all the other families that are suffering today. We ask for peace while we grieve. Please refrain for negative comments on social media as these families children do not need to suffer more pain.”

Tributes have flooded social media as friends and former colleagues shared their memories and condolences.

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves expressed his condolences, stating, “Mississippi is mourning the loss of Brooksville native Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Eaves, who was killed in last night’s accident at Reagan National Airport. Elee and I are praying for the victims’ families and first responders who are assisting.”

An Jelica, a former Navy colleague from TACAMO, expressed her sorrow: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my old Navy buddy, Andrew Eaves, was one of the fallen in the D.C. tragedy. My heart aches for his family, who are facing an unimaginable loss. Andrew was a brother, a friend, and a true example of dedication and service.”

Karen King Morris, another close friend, reflected on her personal connection with Eaves: “My heart is completely broken! Andrew Eaves, you will be missed by so many. You were like a brother and I love that you share a birthday with my son. We will always celebrate you. You were a hero and a bright light in a dark world!!”

Another close friend, Freddie Poindexter, extended his condolences to the Eaves family.

Now, ahead of the February snap elections, news has arisen that Germany’s ‘cordon sanitaire’ against the right has crumbled.

Chaos descended upon Germany’s parliament yesterday (29), with an exchange of heckles and recriminations after a vote over immigration policy.

The rejection by voters of the current suicidal immigration policies is a fact that can’t be ignored in the February elections.

“A non-binding motion calling for tougher border and asylum rules passed with support from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD). During the stormy session, politicians of various parties hurled criticism and blame at each other. Conservative CDU leader Friedrich Merz, who tabled the plans, defended his actions as ‘necessary’. But Chancellor Olaf Scholz slammed the move as an “unforgivable mistake”.

Merz now plans to propose actual legislation on Friday – again with possible AfD backing – aimed at curbing immigration numbers and family reunion rights.”

Any change in policy won’t be implemented before February’s vote.

Merz wants to tap into the anti-immigration vote, which is historically an AfD banner.

CDU’s leader Merz, in full campaign mode, told the Bundestag that policies aren´t wrong just because the ‘wrong people back it.’

So, Merz wants us to believe that ‘bad people’ are voting for common-sense immigration policies, while the ‘good people’ are voting for suicidal policies promoting the rape and murder of Germans?

At least Merz addresses these supposedly ‘good people’:

“’How many more children have to become victims of such acts of violence before you also believe there is a threat to public safety and order?’ he asked.”

Knife attacks by migrants are on the rise.

Failed leftist Chancellor Scholz slammed Merz for his actions, saying, ‘We do not make common cause with the far right.’

But a string of fatal by illegals is mobilizing German society like never before – not Scholz’s objections.

“This week, latest polls showed that support for the conservative CDU had slipped a couple of percentage points to 28%, while the AfD increased slightly to 20%.

A preliminary FAA report indicated that staffing at the DCA Air Traffic Control tower was “not normal” at the time of the helicopter-plane collision.

According to NBC News, at the time of the collision, one controller was overseeing both helicopter and airplane traffic.

Typically, one controller focuses on helicopter activity.

President Trump on Thursday morning blamed Biden and Obama’s DEI policies that lowered requirements for air traffic controllers.

Under Joe Biden, the FAA website was actually recruiting “people with severe disabilities” to work as air traffic controllers.

“A group within the FAA determined that the workforce was too white, then they had concerted efforts to get the administration to change that and to change it immediately,” Trump said after he blasted former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “This was in the Obama administration.”

“We must have only the highest standards for those who work in our aviation system,” Trump said.

Veteran astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore took off to thew International Space Station (ISS) in the maiden crewed flight of Boeing’s Starliner in June, for an eight-day mission.

Almost 8 months later, the duo is still in space – and today had the opportunity to step outside the ISS, to remove degraded radio communications hardware and collect samples looking for microorganism leaks outside the craft.

Multiple problems with the Starliner, from helium leaks to propulsion issues, led NASA overturn Boeing’s assessment, and send the capsule back to Earth empty.

Wilmore and Williams will return in the SpaceX Crew-9 capsule, awaiting docked outside the space station, after the next flight, Crew-10, arrives at the space station.

CNN reported:

“Initially, the astronauts were solely focused on removing the hardware, a top-priority task. While it took slightly longer than expected, the duo was successful, and Wilmore was able to move on to swabbing the outside of the space station.

The spacewalk began at 7:43 a.m. ET and concluded at 1:09 p.m. ET, lasting 5 hours and 26 minutes. The entirety of the spacewalk was streamed on NASA+ and NASA’s YouTube channel.”

The veterans have had ample experience with outside space tasks. Williams performed today her ninth career spacewalk while it was the fifth for Wilmore.

Williams now holds the record for a total spacewalking time of 62 hours and 6 minutes.

“The veteran NASA astronauts removed radio communications hardware, called the radio frequency group, which is an S-band antenna that was previously unable to be released during two previous spacewalks. The duo used a unique wrench tool to remove the bolts securing the hardware to the exterior of the space station. The radio communications hardware will be returned to Earth and refurbished on the ground.

As Williams cleaned up the work site where the removal took place, Wilmore moved on to swab different places outside the space station for the ISS External Microorganisms experiment, which focuses on collecting samples near life support system vents to see whether the space station releases microorganisms.”

NASA is following the strict requirements for ‘planetary protections’, limiting human contamination of space environments, and preventing contaminants from returning to Earth.

Scientists want to understand if any microorganisms are being released into space by the orbiting laboratory, if and how they can survive and reproduce in the cosmic environment.

A midair collision between an American Airlines plane and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport resulted in the tragic loss of 67 lives.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth provided an update on Thursday regarding the U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter involved in the incident. He emphasized that the helicopter was manned by a “fairly experienced crew” conducting a routine training mission.

“We do know on our side who was involved. It was a fairly experienced crew that was doing a required annual night evaluation,” Hegseth stated in a video message.

The collision occurred on Wednesday when the Black Hawk helicopter, originating from Davison Army Airfield in Virginia, collided midair with a passenger jet near Reagan National Airport.

The helicopter was on a routine annual night training flight along a designated corridor for Continuity of Government missions, which ensure essential government functions persist during crises, according to WUSA9.

The U.S. Army has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. Preliminary reports indicate that the Black Hawk was on a training flight with a crew of three soldiers.

Fox News obtained exclusive information regarding the crew members aboard the Army helicopter at the time of the accident. The instructor pilot commanding the Black Hawk boasted 1,000 flying hours.

Meanwhile, his co-pilot was a woman with 500 flying hours, considered to be a standard level of experience in aviation circles.

The revelation that the co-pilot was a woman has reignited ongoing debates about gender roles within military operations.

Fox News reported:

The instructor pilot in charge who was flying the Black Hawk had 1,000 flying hours – which is considered “very experienced,” Fox News has learned. Most flights are on average two hours in length.

The co-pilot had 500 flying hours, which is considered a “normal” amount of experience. Fox News is told the co-pilot was a woman. Both the instructor pilot in charge and the co-pilot were being evaluated during the flight, and were familiar with the area and route, Fox News is told.

Military and other government helicopters fly this route almost daily, according to a senior Army pilot and warrant officer.

According to a senior U.S. defense official, one set of remains from the soldiers on the Black Hawk were recovered Thursday afternoon.

Ryan O’Hara, a 2014 graduate of Parkview High School in Gwinnett County, Georgia, has been identified as the crew chief aboard the Black Hawk helicopter

O’Hara was a former cadet and member of the Rifle Team during his time at Parkview High School. He is remembered fondly by his peers and instructors. He leaves behind a wife and a one-year-old son.

“The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport. The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane. This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!”

A former senior advisor to Barack Obama has been sentenced to 11 and a half years in prison.

Rahamim Shy, 47, was arrested in February 2024 by police in the United Kingdom after travelling to the country with a view to meeting a nine-year-old girl for sex.

Shy had reportedly planned the meeting for around a month, speaking with an individual named “Debbie” who said she was the child’s grandmother, the BBC reports.

However, the woman in question was an undercover police officer.

During his trial, the court heard how Shy had described in gruesome detail how he would abuse the girl, despite the fact that her age of nine was a “tad late.”

Nevertheless, he insisted it would be an “honor” to be “her first.”

Upon his arrest, law enforcement found toys and condoms in his luggage, while his phone contained indecent images of children.

On Wednesday, Shy was found guilty at Luton Crown Court of arranging the commission of a child sex offence and possessing indecent photographs of a child.

He was sentenced to 11 years and six months in prison, although the nature of Britain’s penal system means that he will likely serve around half of that time.

Lorraine Telford of the Crown Prosecution Service described him as “a predator who was fully prepared to commit unspeakable acts against a child for his own sexual gratification.”

“It was clear from his explicit conversations and items he brought to England that he had only one intention, to commit rape against what he knew was a vulnerable child.”

“The fact the child in this case did not exist makes no difference,” she added.

Shy previously served as a senior policy adviser in the Obama administration, focusing on counterterrorism efforts, as well as under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Between 2008 and 2014, he worked within the U.S. Treasury Department, advising the White House on strategies to combat terrorism financing from groups such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

In 2009, Shy testified before Congress on security issues in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He also collaborated with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) to finalize matters related to terrorism and security.

Tulsi Gabbard tore into the intelligence community’s corruption.

Tulsi Gabbard took Washington by storm as she exposed the rot of deep state corruption, slamming 51 intelligence officials, Hillary Clinton, and the Democrat Party for their blatant weaponization of America’s intelligence agencies.

As she stood before the Senate Intelligence Committee for her confirmation hearing as President Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence, Gabbard delivered a devastating indictment of the intelligence community’s failures and abuses over the last two decades.

Gabbard, a combat veteran and former Democrat presidential candidate, wasted no time calling out the politically motivated intelligence fiascos that have cost American lives, undermined national security, and fueled dangerous global instability.

Gabbard:
For too long, faulty, inadequate, or weaponized intelligence has led to costly failures and the undermining of our national security and God-given freedoms enshrined in the Constitution. The most obvious example of one of these failures is our invasion of Iraq, based on a total fabrication or a complete failure of intelligence.

This disastrous decision led to the deaths of tens of thousands of American soldiers, millions of people in the Middle East, mass migration, destabilization, and the undermining of the security and stability of our European allies. It also contributed to the rise of ISIS, the strengthening of Al Qaeda and other Islamist jihadist groups, and the empowerment of Iran.

The American people elected Donald Trump as their President—not once, but twice—yet the FBI and intelligence agencies were politicized by his opponents to undermine his presidency and falsely portray him as a puppet of Putin.

Gabbard’s testimony ripped into the coordinated efforts of the Clinton and Biden campaigns to manipulate intelligence agencies for political gain.

She highlighted how the now-discredited Steele dossier—funded by the Clinton campaign—was used as “evidence” to illegally spy on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page via FISA warrants.

Gabbard also targeted the now-infamous 51 former intelligence officials who falsely labeled Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” to help Joe Biden secure victory in the 2020 election.

She exposed Biden campaign operative Tony Blinken as the mastermind behind the disinformation letter.

Gabbard:
Title I of FISA was used illegally to obtain a warrant to spy on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, using a Clinton-Biden campaign-funded false dossier as their so-called evidence. Biden campaign advisor Tony Blinken was the impetus for the “51 former senior intelligence officials’ letter,” dismissing Hunter Biden’s laptop as disinformation and specifically intended to help Biden win the election.”

Gabbard also blasted former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper for blatantly lying to Congress about mass surveillance programs that targeted American citizens.

And she didn’t hold back on ex-CIA chief John Brennan, who she reminded the world spied on Congress, got caught, and faced zero accountability.

Gabbard revealed one of the most chilling abuses under the Biden administration: the FBI’s targeting of devout Catholics.

“Under Biden, the FBI abused its power for political reasons to try to surveil Catholics who attend traditional Latin mass, labeling them as radical traditionalist Catholics.”

Gabbard also exposed how, just 24 hours after she criticized Kamala Harris’s nomination, she was placed on a secret domestic terror watchlist called “Quiet Skies.”

Gabbard dismantled the left’s predictable playbook, warning Americans exactly what was coming: false accusations, fear-mongering, and outright lies designed to discredit her before she even steps into office.

Gabbard:
Those who oppose my nomination imply that I am loyal to something or someone other than God, my own conscience, and the Constitution of the United States—accusing me of being Trump’s puppet, Putin’s puppet, Assad’s puppet, a guru’s puppet, and Modi’s puppet—without recognizing the absurdity of simultaneously being the puppet of five different puppet masters.

The same tactic was used against President Trump and failed. The American people elected President Trump with a decisive victory and a mandate for change. The fact is, what truly unsettles my political opponents is that I refuse to be their puppet.

I condemn those actions as a Democrat in Congress at the time, as religious bigotry must be thoroughly condemned by all of us, no matter the religion. Unfortunately, some Democrat senators still don’t understand the principle of freedom of religion and Article VI of the Constitution: “No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

Unfortunately, they are once again using the religious bigotry card—this time, trying to foment religious bigotry against Hindus and Hinduism.
