Steve Bannon discusses “The Shot Heard Round the World” with historian Patrick K. O’Donnell on 4/18/25

To gain perspective and to remember the sacrifice of those who went before us, it is important to take time to reflect on events like Lexington and Concord. April 19th, 2025, marks the 250th anniversary of “The shot heard round the world.”

War Room’s Steve Bannon talked with independent historian Patrick K. O’Donnell about the events surrounding April 19th, 1775.

“They come up on Concord Bridge. They have to cross the Concord Bridge to get to the farmhouses where the arsenals are correct? Or the weapons, correct?” Bannon asked.

“Where the weapons are stored, ya, and what happens next is they come upon the place that they feel that most of the weapons are stored, which is a tavern in Concord. Smith and several of his officers then storm the tavern. The door is locked, they break it down, storm in and then they put a pistol to the owner and ask him where are the cannons hidden?,” O’Donnell explained.

O’Donnell explains that the owner of the tavern led them to where some of the weaponry was after his life was threatened.

“The tavern owner then leads them to four buried cannons, 24-pounders, they unearth them, and then they spike the guns ,and then they start to search the town for any other weapons and supplies,” O’Donnell said.

O’Donnell explained that the British intended to burn the weapons and supplies with a bonfire that got out of control, which then led to efforts to extinguish the fire.

“British soldiers are then taking whatever they can find, which is not much, because Revere and other Patriot leaders had warned them days earlier that these supplies might be raided, so they moved a lot of the stuff into the surrounding fields. They buried it,” O’Donnell said.

“It’s here that the famous ‘shot heard round the world’ takes place. The British tell the militia to disperse,” O’Donnell explained.

“What happens next is that the British regulars fire the first shots. Two shots are fired by British regulars. They open fire and what happened is the Americans stand their ground and what is really remarkable is that these seasoned elite troops begin to break and they start to fall back from the bridge,” O’Donnell continued.

“They get slaughtered on the way back, but right there in front of one of the toughest armies in Europe, the Americans who are basically a group of farmers and mechanics refuse to break at Concord Bridge, right? And actually, break the British ranks?” Bannon asked.

“They break and there is a dispersion from both sides that takes place,” O’Donnell said.

The Trump administration destroyed the media narrative by releasing a single picture of a hand.

President Donald J. Trump released a damning photograph on Friday, showcasing the MS-13 gang tattoos etched across the knuckles of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The image, shared directly from the White House Oval Office, serves as a crushing rebuttal to the radical left’s dangerous lies about illegal immigration and criminal deportations.

“This is the hand of the man that the Democrats feel should be brought back to the United States, because he is such ‘a fine and innocent person,’” Trump declared in a fiery statement accompanying the photo.

“They said he is not a member of MS-13, even though he’s got MS-13 tattooed onto his knuckles, and two Highly Respected Courts found that he was a member of MS-13, beat up his wife, etc. I was elected to take bad people out of the United States, among other things. I must be allowed to do my job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, who has appeared on far-left news networks portraying him as a misunderstood “family man,” has now come under fire for suspiciously cropping his left hand out of a photo she uploaded to TikTok while promoting a GoFundMe fundraiser.

This was a deliberate effort to conceal the damning MS-13 tattoo that would undercut the narrative of Garcia being an innocent victim of immigration enforcement.

Democrats went all in on defending this man and demanded that he be returned the the United States. That could not have backfired worse. By looking at their actions we can clearly see where their priorities are, and its not protecting American citizens.

While everyday New Yorkers struggle under crushing inflation and a historic crime wave fueled by Democrat policies, embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James is busy doing what Democrats do best — raising obscene amounts of money while under federal scrutiny.

Corrupt New York Attorney General Letitia James has launched a high-dollar fundraiser just days after being hit with a bombshell federal criminal referral over alleged mortgage fraud, The New York Post first reported.

The outlet added that the glitzy fundraiser for her 2026 re-election campaign is scheduled for Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with ticket prices ranging from $500 to a jaw-dropping $18,000—the maximum allowed under New York law.

The fundraiser, scheduled for Tuesday evening, is being held at the swanky Manhattan residence of left-wing LGBTQ activists Rod Grozier and Rob Smith.

Smith is the founder of The Phluid Project, a so-called “gender-neutral” clothing company that has openly embraced radical leftist ideology.

The event listing on the far-left ActBlue platform proclaims, “Letitia James is fighting for our rights every single day. This is our opportunity to show Letitia that we have her back.”

Fighting for whose rights, exactly? Certainly not the taxpayers of New York.

But the real fight may be just beginning—for her political survival.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration formally referred James to federal authorities, citing what they say is a pattern of deceptive behavior, including her claim on official records that her “principal residence” in 2023 was a house in Norfolk, Virginia.

James made the claim in order to skirt New York residency rules and possibly reap financial benefits tied to homeowner tax breaks and loan qualifications.

In an interview Thursday night on NY1’s Inside City Hall, James was asked point-blank about a criminal referral alleging she misrepresented her home’s occupancy classification on mortgage documents — a potential felony offense that would land any other New Yorker behind bars.

“Let me just say to all New Yorkers and to all Americans: the allegations are baseless. The allegations are nothing more than a revenge tour,” James said during the interview.

The Gateway Pundit and the White Collar Fraud previously reported back in early March that James has been implicated in multiple instances of mortgage fraud, with the most damning claims centered on her Brooklyn and Virginia properties.

For over two decades, James allegedly misrepresented her Brooklyn apartment building as a four-unit property on mortgage applications, despite official records confirming it has five units.

This seemingly minor discrepancy enabled her to secure a 2011 Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan at a remarkably low 2.7% interest rate, saving her an estimated $44,000 annually.

To qualify, James claimed financial hardship, despite earning over $126,390 in 2011 from her New York City Council position, CUNY work, and rental income. Critics argue this hardship claim was dubious at best, raising questions about her eligibility for the taxpayer-backed loan.

Further allegations point to a 2023 Virginia property purchase, where James declared a Norfolk home as her primary residence, despite New York law requiring her to maintain residency in the state as Attorney General.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has referred James to the Department of Justice, with Director William Pulte asserting she falsified records to obtain a $219,780 mortgage with preferential terms.

Perhaps the most bizarre accusation involves a 1983 property purchase with her father, Robert James, where documents listed them as “husband and wife.” The Gateway Pundit suggests this misrepresentation was a deliberate ploy to secure better loan terms, constituting mortgage fraud under federal law.

After a 15-year break in service, Sgt. Dakota Meyer, who received the Medal of Honor in 2011 for his actions in Afghanistan’s Kunar Province in 2009, has re-enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve.

On Thursday, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth administered Meyer’s oath of enlistment.

On Friday, the 36-year-old Meyer spoke with Fox News, telling “America’s Newsroom” that his decision “comes from a deep sense of unfinished duty and a desire to inspire others to serve.”

“There’s never been a better time to serve our country than right now,” Meyer shared.

“There’s never been a need, like we need right now, of good men and women who are willing to stand up and who are willing defend the beliefs of the American people, of the Constitution, and to protect all of those things against whatever enemy that is willing to try to step up and to try and threaten that.”

During remarks just prior to readministering the oath, Hegseth said that — though Meyer didn’t request such a high-profile ceremony — the secretary felt he wanted people to recognize the example Meyer was setting.

“[We’re doing] this as big as we can because I want the American people, I want your fellow Marines [and] I want other service members to look at [your] example and [know] you’re never too old, you’re never too experienced [and] you’ve never done too much to contribute; and I salute you,” Hegseth told Meyer.

The secretary also pointed out that prior-service Marines, like Meyer, returning from the civilian world is rare.
“It’s not common practice that things like this occur, but you showed uncommon valor and continue to show uncommon commitment,” Hegseth said.

“And, here at the Defense Department, we’re grateful for you,” he added.

Meyer, who said there’s “probably not been a day” since he left active duty in 2010 that he hasn’t thought about returning to the uniform — and who had to pass a pair of physical and combat fitness tests before being allowed to reenlist — credits realizing he still had more to give to his country with motivating him to finally go through that lengthy process.

“I love this country with every fiber of my moral being — I always have,” Meyer told members of the media prior to the ceremony.

The Supreme Court issued a one-paragraph order early Saturday morning requiring the government to halt deportations being carried out under the Alien Enemies Act until a lawsuit concerning the application of that law is decided by the Fifth Circuit. “The Government is directed not to remove any member of the putative class of detainees from the United States until further order of this Court,” the statement read.

The 7–2 ruling, with Justices Alito and Thomas dissenting, indicates a potentially more skeptical attitude of the court towards the Alien Enemies Act. The court declined earlier this month to halt deportations of Venezuelans under the auspices of the Act.

A Michigan man has pleaded guilty to driving to Salem, Massachusetts, with the intent to blow up the international headquarters of the Satanic Temple.

Luke Terpstra, 30, traveled to Salem with bombs and firearms in September 2023 “because he wanted to destroy the Satanic Temple by setting it on fire,” according to the plea agreement.

Terpstra pleaded guilty this week to possession of an unregistered destructive device and faces a maximum of ten years in prison. He is also liable for approximately $250,000 that the Satanic Temple claims it cost them for security upgrades and other actions the organization took in response to the threat.

“The City of Salem and the Salem Police Department recognize that it is frightening and concerning that there are individuals who would threaten or carry out violent attacks against others based on their beliefs and that we are a target,” the city said in a statement posted to its website at the time of Terpstra’s arrest.

“On the one hand, it is gratifying that our federal and local partners were able to thwart Terpstra. On the other, it is terrifying that he walked in our midst planning such violence.”

According to the Satanic Temple’s website, the headquarters on Bridge Street opened to the public in the former Dubiel Funeral Parlor in 2016.

The building contains an “art gallery and a permanent exhibit dedicated to witch-hunts, Satanism, and moral panics. The Satanic Temple of Salem often hosts and performs formal ceremonial events, lectures, screenings, and meetings.”

It also has a gift shop and is home to the organization’s infamous Baphomet statue.

Terpstra’s sentencing has been scheduled for late July.

Texas DPS on high-speed chase with smuggler of illegal alien. Footage from 4/14/25. Posted 4/19/25

The border is secure under President Trump, but four years of crooked Joe Biden is still taking its toll on law enforcement pursuing illegal aliens.

Texas DPS earlier this week was on a high-speed chase pursuing a smuggler of an illegal alien in Webb County. The smuggler named Alexander Velma who was from Laredo, was driving a red Dodge Ram and tried to outrun the DPS. Velma eventually crashed and was arrested. DPS found one illegal alien in the bed of the truck.

The illegal alien was handed over to the Border Patrol. Velma was arrested and charged with human smuggling with the potential of bodily injury or death.

Texas DPS also dealt with a similar situation in Webb County the previous week. High-speed chase with a smuggler carrying five illegal aliens. The driver also crashed this vehicle. All five illegals were handed over to the Border Patrol and the driver was arrested for human smuggling.

Texas has led the way in pursuing illegal aliens and securing their State even during the hostile Biden regime’s efforts to stop them. Operation Lone Star was launched in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in an effort to stop deadly drugs like fentanyl from entering the US. In addition, the operation included efforts to deter illegal immigration with the support of Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the Federal Government the responsibility and authority to protect the country from an invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

Rule of law is back.

Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-Ore.) has announced she will travel to El Salvador to personally demand the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia — a deported illegal alien with alleged ties to the recently designated terrorist organization MS-13.

This is yet another example of Democrats prioritizing criminals over law-abiding Americans.

Dexter’s press release on Friday, dripping with sanctimonious outrage, claims Garcia’s deportation is a “constitutional crisis” and a “government-funded kidnapping.” She wails that Garcia, a so-called “legal U.S. resident,” had his “due process rights ripped away” and is now languishing in a Salvadoran prison.

But let’s cut through the leftist spin: Garcia was deported in March after the Trump administration identified him as a suspected MS-13 member, a designation backed by a 2019 Maryland police report and a Department of Homeland Security investigation that flagged him for potential human trafficking in 2022.

Court documents reveal Garcia was stopped in Tennessee with eight people crammed in his car, all suspiciously claiming the same address and carrying no luggage.

He played dumb with officers, pretending he couldn’t speak English. And then there’s the 2021 protective order filed by his own wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, who accused him of physical abuse and documented bruises he allegedly inflicted. This is the “family man” Dexter is championing?

President Trump himself has highlighted photos of Garcia’s knuckles, reportedly sporting MS-13 tattoos, though Democrats cry “Photoshop” to dodge the truth.

“Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, M.D. (OR-03) announced that she will travel to El Salvador to demand the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia,” according to the press release.

“Mr. Abrego Garcia, a legal U.S. resident, was wrongfully deported to El Salvador—a fact the Trump Administration has acknowledged. He is now being held in a foreign prison, despite a clear, unanimous ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that the federal government must facilitate his return to the U.S.”

“A legal U.S. resident has had his due process rights ripped away and is now being held indefinitely in a foreign prison. This is not just one family’s nightmare; it is a constitutional crisis that should outrage every single one of us,” said Congresswoman Dexter in a statement. “I will travel to El Salvador to confront this crisis head on. Our constitutional rights are on the line.”

Dexter’s X video statement is a masterclass in Democrat delusion. She claims Trump’s actions are an “assault on the rule of law” and warns that “no one is safe in Trump’s America.”

This reckless publicity stunt follows closely on the heels of Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s (D-Md.) similar trip to El Salvador, where he held a photo-op with Abrego Garcia and declared him a victim of U.S. policy.

Rather than demanding justice for Americans like Rachel Morin — a Maryland mother allegedly murdered by an illegal alien with gang ties — Democrats are traveling to foreign countries to plead for the release of violent offenders.

The demonic drag group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an “order of queer and trans nuns” is hosting a trans event on Easter Sunday at a public park this which includes a “Hunky Jesus and Foxy Mary” drag contest and events aimed at children.

The event theme is “No Easter without T,” and the invitation flyer shows a tattooed “Jesus” surrounded by men in drag.

In an Instagram post, the group invites “the community to celebrate our 46th Anniversary at Easter in the Park. In recognition of our trans brothers and sisters who are under siege.”

The festivities begin at 10:30am on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Dolores Park with Children’s Easter, featuring an egg hunt and (of course) the Easter Bunny. The stage show begins at noon with special guests, Sister rituals, live music, performances by some of the city’s best drag and trans talent, and the legendary Easter Bonnet, Foxy Mary, and Hunky Jesus contests.

The Easter Bunny welcomes parents and their little ones to Children’s Easter on the east side of the park’s north field (nearest to the corner of 18th and Dolores). Activities include an Easter egg hunt, bunny run relay games, story time, and a performance by Cheer SF, starting at 10:30 AM.

The main stage opens at noon, featuring emcees Honey Mahogany, Alex U. Inn, and Sister Roma. In keeping with this year’s theme, “No Easter Without The T,” the live show will feature a stellar lineup of transgender and gender-nonconforming performers, including trans opera star Breanna Elyse Sinclair, Ronnie Reddick Presents “I’m Every Woman” featuring The Ladies of AsiaSF 2.0, Trans and Drag King Hip Hop legends The Momma’s Boyz featuring Ariel B. and Lambert, and San Francisco favorite Pansy Division.

The group’s Instagram shares that past winners of the Easter drag contest include “Historically Accurate eesus,” “Transgender Maria de Guadalupe,” “Pro-Choice Mary” and “Black Woman as God.”

In 2023, the group was “honored” by Major League Baseball and the LA Dodgers.
