CNN cut away from Joe Biden after he got in a female reporter’s face, suggested he’s not mentally stable and claimed he can “beat the hell” out of Jake Tapper.

82-year-old Biden delivered remarks at a Memorial Day Event in New Castle, Delaware, on Friday.

This is the first time Biden has spoken publicly since his cancer diagnosis. Or rather, since Biden admitted he has metastatic cancer. Medical experts believe Biden may have been suffering from prostate cancer for years.

Of course, Biden made the Memorial Day speech about himself and implied his son, Beau, died while serving in Iraq.

Beau Biden died of brain cancer at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2015.

At one point, Joe Biden began shouting out of nowhere: “I’m an American! That’s who I am! I’m serious about this! I’m not joking!”

Biden also botched the Declaration of Independence.

After his remarks, Biden shuffled over to a gaggle of reporters and things went sideways after he went off-script.

Creepy Joe Biden got in two female reporters’ faces and said he can beat the hell out of Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson.

“There’s also been a lot of discussion recently about your mental and physical capabilities while you were in office,” CNN’s Kaitlan Collins said to Biden referring to Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s book about his mental decline.

“You can see that I’m mentally incompetent and I can’t walk, and I can beat the hell out of both of them,” Biden said.

President Trump and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk will hold a press conference in the Oval Office this afternoon, as the tech billionaire and special government employee steps away from his cost-cutting role. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Musk announced his departure from DOGE, thanking the President and noting that “the DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.”

On Thursday, President Trump announced the press conference, commending Elon for his work and announcing the goodbye press conference. “This will be his last day, but not really, because he will, always, be with us, helping all the way,” the President added.

This also comes amid Musk’s criticisms against the One Big Beautiful Bill budget reconciliation, which passed the House last week. Musk said he was “disappointed” in the Big Beautiful Bill in a recent interview, saying it “undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.”

President Trump responded to criticisms on Wednesday, saying he, too, is “not happy about certain aspects of it.” He continued, “But I’m thrilled by other aspects of it,” highlighting the “beautiful” parts of the bill, including expanding his 2017 tax cuts, which are set to expire in September.

On the evening of May 21, Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, 26, both Israeli embassy staffers, were killed leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.

By all accounts, early on the morning of May 22, we knew who the alleged perpetrator was and what his motive was: 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, a leftist who apparently killed random Jews in support of Gaza. “Free, free Palestine!” he could be heard shouting as police took him into custody.

On May 23, The Washington Post was asking the really important questions: namely, “the confusion … about where Jews belong.”

Yes, you heard me right. And while the Post has since deleted an X post, which used that subheadline and the question actually came from a quote by a Jewish woman in the article, the problematic nature of it still resonates.

For instance, for those of you who missed it, this is what the copy on the WaPo’s social media post originally said:

That’s still basically the subheadline on the article itself, which remains unchanged from its original version: “The killings of two Israeli Embassy staffers amplify the confusion felt since the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks about where Jews belong.” Just a few extra words, certainly nothing to alter the meaning of it.

Now, again, to be fair to the Post — it doesn’t make it much better, but it’s still worth pointing out — this was pulled, in the worst possible way, from a quote from a rabbi in the lede to the story, which generally wasn’t explicitly anti-Semitic in tone:

For Rabbi Ruth Balinsky Friedman, who teaches Jewish text at a D.C.-area high school, the killings of two Israeli Embassy workers this week have deepened the isolation she’s felt as an American Jew in recent years.

Hamas’s attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and Israel’s subsequent attacks on Gaza, followed by divisions around the world over what caused the conflict and who was at fault, left the 40-year-old mother of three feeling confused, with no easy solution to the war in sight. Now, after the shooting at the Capital Jewish Museum on Wednesday, she feels similarly disoriented.

“Where do we as a people belong?” she said. “Where do I belong?” And if Jews belong in America, “why are people shooting us in broad daylight?”

I did not contact Rabbi Ruth Balinsky Friedman for follow-up, but I imagine part of a wider discussion about “why are people shooting us in broad daylight” in America with her might touch upon a broader discussion of the journalistic ethics of the capital’s newspaper of record using her quote to justify that generally-unjustifiable-under-any-circumstances-but-especially-after-a-terror-attack subheadline.

And again, just imagine the outrage from the Post if Trump had said something it found even slightly, mildly questionable about Judaism or the Jewish people from its perspective. Actually, we needn’t have to imagine, because I found exactly what the outrage would look like in an Op-Ed from 2019, with less than 30 seconds scrolling through Google results: “Trump still appears to believe all Jews are really Israelis.”

Spoiler alert: He did not, but he wanted Jewish students on American college campuses protected from anti-Semitism via an executive order, something that Op-Ed writer Jill Jacobs said was “likely to have a chilling effect on criticism of Israel” and said “[t]hanks, but no thanks” to.

Meanwhile, five-and-a-half years later, the same paper — after the executive order Trump was signing regarding that matter seems oddly prescient and needful — was having a conversation regarding “the confusion … about where Jews belong” in America after two Israeli embassy staffers were shot by a man who shot them as an apparent (to use Jacobs’ words) “criticism of Israel.”

They may have deleted the X post, but that makes this not one whit better — not with the paper’s history or its refusal to back off its indefensible tone in the wake of this senseless tragedy.

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is the apparent target of a hacking scam, according to a new report.

According to the Wall Street Journal, which cited sources it did not name, the White House and FBI are investigating after political and business leaders received fake communications supposedly from Wiles

The Journal reported, “senators, governors, top U.S. business executives and other well-known figures” have received texts and calls from someone claiming to be Wiles.

The Journal said, the scam has been going on for several weeks, with Wiles claiming someone hacked into her personal cellphone contacts — although it is not known how that took place.

As the FBI investigates, its current conclusion is that no foreign nation is behind the fake messages.

Calls have used artificial intelligence to leave messages that sound like Wiles’s voice, the Journal reported, although the calls did not come from Wiles’s phone number.

Some requests have seemed official, such as a request to one lawmaker to develop a list of people President Donald Trump could pardon.

As a result, members of Congress have been informed of the impersonation scam.

Suspicions began to flare among recipients when questions were asked to which Wiles should have known the answer and because the grammar and usage did not align with the way in which Wiles usually communicates.

However, the Journal report said that some of those who received communications from the person impersonating Wiles did communicate back with the impersonator.

Wiles has told contacts to disregard the messages and also issued an apology to those who have received them.

“The White House takes the cybersecurity of all staff very seriously, and this matter continues to be investigated,” a White House representative said.

FBI Director Kash Patel said his agency is investigating the alleged hack.

“The FBI takes all threats against the President, his staff, and our cybersecurity with the utmost seriousness; safeguarding our administration officials’ ability to securely communicate to accomplish the President’s mission is a top priority,” he said in a statement, according to CBS.

Earlier this month, the FBI warned of “an ongoing malicious text and voice messaging campaign” that began in April when someone “impersonated senior U.S. officials to target individuals, many of whom are current or former senior U.S. federal or state government officials and their contacts,” according to the New York Post.

“The malicious actors have sent text messages and AI-generated voice messages — techniques known as smishing and vishing, respectively — that claim to come from a senior U.S. official in an effort to establish rapport before gaining access to personal accounts,” the FBI warning read.

Indianapolis case has investigators at work.

In a case that has law enforcement investigators in Indianapolis at work, there is a mother who reportedly shot and injured a convicted child molester who was in the process of attacking her daughter.

The New York Post reported what details are known: That the mother walked in on Bruce Pierce, of Indianapolis, who allegedly was on top of her 12-year-old daughter as the preteen protested “no” at the Baymont Inn.

Citing court documents, the report said there are details missing, but the young victim’s grandmother told police that Pierce previously has been talking with the 12-year-old online and by phone, trying to persuade her to leave town with him.

The situation is at a turning point now, with Pierce under arrest and charged with attempted rape and attempted child molestation.

The report said on the day of the shooting, the victim and her sister woke up their grandmother with concern their mother hadn’t come home. “They went to the inn, where they found the mom and Pierce in the lobby.”

What hasn’t been explained is how Pierce and the victim ended up in a room, but, the report said, “Pierce took the opportunity to allegedly pin her arms to the bed and start ripping some of her clothes before the mother burst in.”

The victim was able to escape Pierce, and mom fired, the report said. The mother and daughter then called police.

A warrant has been issued for Pierce’s arrest.

He previously pleaded guilty to a child molestation charge in 2016.

Just in the last 10 days, Russian Federation troops have taken the following Sumy settlements: Maryino, Loknya, Vladimirovka, Belovody and Konstantinovka – while in the neighboring Kharkov Oblast they have conquered Doroshovka, Radkovka, Stroyevka, Gnatovka and Kondrashovka.

This developing buffer zone is pushing Kiev’s forces away from the borders of the Russian regions of Kursk and Belgorod.

As of now, Moscow’s Forces are less than 16 miles from Sumy.

During the negotiations in Istanbul, on hearing that the Ukrainian delegation rejected the demand to withdraw from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhie and Kherson regions, the Russian negotiators warned that ‘next time it may be 6 or 8 regions’.

The Telegraph reported:

“The new incursion, which is now gathering steam, comes after days of shelling of the region and some of Russia’s largest aerial bombardments across Ukraine since the beginning of the three-year war.

Ukrainian officials said for weeks that Russian troops were trying to make inroads into Sumy, the region’s main city that lies 18 miles from the border, citing it as evidence that Russia is not serious about peace.

[…] A buffer zone in Sumy would reduce Kiev’s ability to launch drone strikes on Russian territory and guard against any future Ukrainian cross-border attacks.”

Russian advances are a major setback for Kiev because it may pin defensive troops and prevent reinforcements to Donetsk region.

“Though Russia’s offensive activity is concentrated in the eastern Donetsk region, Moscow’s invasion into northeastern Ukraine shows how it is stretching Kyiv’s forces on multiple fronts.”

The Department of Homeland Security has highlighted how FEMA, under the Biden administration, neglected the survivors of the 2023 Lahaina, Hawaii, wildfires.

In a post on X, the DHS shared a report published by the Guardian that reveals 1 in 6 survivors of the Lahina wildfires “were forced to engage in sexual acts in exchange for basic necessities like food and housing.”

The DHS further added, “These women — our fellow American citizens — were so desperate for food that they had to resort to such extreme measures just to feed themselves in our own country.”

The report further noted that the wildfires in the historic town of Lahaina also increased the number of people at risk of sex trafficking.

Per The Guardian:

Sexual exploitation and domestic violence soared after the catastrophic Lahaina wildfire in 2023, with pre-existing gender inequalities exposed and exacerbated by the post-disaster response, new research has found.

In the weeks and months after the deadliest American fire in a century, one in six female fire survivors surveyed felt forced to engage in sexual acts in exchange for basic necessities such as food, clothing and housing.

Immigrant women and other limited English speakers felt particularly isolated and unsafe in emergency shelters, with some sleeping with their children in vehicles – or engaging in “survival sex” for a safer place to stay, according to the new report by Tagnawa, a Filipino feminist disaster response organization in Hawaii, shared exclusively with the Guardian.

Filipinos constitute the largest immigrant community in Hawaii, accounting for around 40% of the Lahaina population before the fire – the majority women. Researchers conducted in-depth surveys with 70 Filipino women survivors.

A total of 102 people died due to the wildfires in Lahaina, and over 2,000 homes were burned to the ground.

Hawaii Governor Joshn Green has yet to address the new report but has instead been busy over the last week signing and promoting a climate change tax on tourists into law.
