What RFK Jr, Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson Have In Common: The “Miracle” Drug Keeping Them Young

(Note: Thank you for supporting businesses like the one presenting a sponsored message below and working with them through the links below which benefits Gateway Pundit. We appreciate your support!)

Mel Gibson’s appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience earlier this year set the internet on fire. Gibson, who isn’t shy about sharing his opinions, beliefs and experiences, made news talking about the cancer-fighting potential for Ivermectin.

In that same interview, Gibson shared his experience with Methylene blue – an experience shared by Joe Rogan:

One of the other drugs discussed during this conversation was methylene blue—a medical dye that has been in use for over a century. After Gibson indicated his friends are “drinking” methylene blue, Joe Rogan said the substance has “profound effects on your mitochondria,” to which Gibson replied in agreement: “This stuff works, man.”

It’s not just Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson who swear by Methylene blue. MAHA godfather and current Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr was seen on video earlier this year using methylene blue while on a flight.

Few men have defied the effects of Father Time better than the trio of Joe Rogan, Mel Gibson and RFK Jr. So it’s not surprising that everyone is looking for more information on Methylene blue. While Methylene blue is just now going mainstream, it isn’t new to many in the know, according to The New York Post:

In recent years, celebrities, wellness influencers and biohackers have touted methylene blue for several off-label uses, claiming it can boost energy levels and metabolism, enhance cognitive function and combat aging — though evidence remains limited.

Early research suggests that methylene blue may have antioxidant properties that help reduce toxic proteins in the brain, potentially aiding in the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Some studies also indicate that the drug may help delay skin aging by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, reducing cellular damage and promoting wound healing.

WHAT IS METHYLENE BLUE?

First used in the 1800s, today, this century-old compound is FDA-approved for methemoglobinemia (a condition in which the blood can’t carry oxygen properly) but has garnered renewed interest for its off-label applications, particularly in enhancing mitochondrial function, combating neurodegenerative diseases, and as adjunct treatment of long COVID.

How methylene blue works and its “off-label” uses:

Energy Backup: Methylene blue acts like a “backup generator” for your cells’ energy factories (mitochondria). When part of the energy production line (specifically “Complex I”) breaks down—due to toxins, disease, or aging—methylene blue moves electrons directly to later stages of the energy-making process, allowing cells to keep producing energy (ATP) even when parts of the system are damaged.

Oxidative Stress Reduction:It acts like a molecular sponge, soaking up harmful molecules called reactive oxygen species (ROS) that damage cells. By neutralizing these destructive molecules, it reduces oxidative stress—a key contributor to aging and diseases like Alzheimer’s. It also blocks caspase-6, an enzyme that drives brain inflammation and kills neurons in Alzheimer’s patients. Think of it as a two-in-one protector: it calms oxidative damage while stopping the enzyme that fuels brain cell death.

HOW YOU CAN GET METHYLENE BLUE

The medical experts at The Wellness Company – like Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Kelly Victory – were leaders in the efforts to provide the public with accurate medical information during COVID. These experts have repeatedly shown that they prioritized the health and welfare of their patients over the bottom line of the big pharmaceutical companies.

Now the experts at The Wellness Company are making methylene blue available to you at home with RECHARGE!

JUST IN: President Trump Signs Historic Executive Order to Reduce Drug Costs for Americans (VIDEO)

President Trump has officially announced his plan and executive order to reduce drug costs by getting tough on other countries and drug manufacturers and ensuring that Americans get the best deal.

The Gateway Pundit reported yesterday that President Trump teased the announcement, saying he will reduce the cost of pharmaceuticals by 30% to 80%.

BREAKING: President Trump Announces He Will Sign Executive Order to Reduce Pharmaceutical Prices by 30% to 80% Almost Immediately

The executive order signed today directs the U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of Commerce to ensure that foreign countries can no longer take advantage of Americans as other administration officials work to negotiate with manufacturers.

It further directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to help cut out middlemen in the process to allow Americans to purchase drugs directky from the manufacturers. The Secretary will create rules to ensure that Americans have most-favored-nation prices and take other “aggressive measures” to protect American buyers.

President Trump announced the plans during a press conference in the Oval Office on Monday.

WATCH:

A White House official provided the following fact sheet to The Gateway Pundit:

Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Announces Actions to Put American Patients First by Lowering Drug Prices and Stopping Foreign Free-riding on American Pharmaceutical Innovation

REDUCING DRUG PRICES FOR AMERICANS AND TAXPAYERS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to bring the prices Americans and taxpayers pay for prescription drugs in line with those paid by similar nations.

The Order directs the U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of Commerce to take action to ensure foreign countries are not engaged in practices that purposefully and unfairly undercut market prices and drive price hikes in the United States.

The Order instructs the Administration to communicate price targets to pharmaceutical manufacturers to establish that America, the largest purchaser and funder of prescription drugs in the world, gets the best deal.

The Secretary of Health and Human Services will establish a mechanism through which American patients can buy their drugs directly from manufacturers who sell to Americans at a “Most-Favored-Nation” price, bypassing middlemen.

If drug manufacturers fail to offer most-favored-nation pricing, the Order directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to: (1) propose rules that impose most-favored-nation pricing; and (2) take other aggressive measures to significantly reduce the cost of prescription drugs to the American consumer and end anticompetitive practices.

GETTING A BETTER DEAL FOR AMERICANS: President Trump is once again taking action to keep pharmaceutical manufacturers from charging Americans high drug prices while giving steep discounts to other wealthy nations.

According to recent data, the prices Americans pay for brand-name drugs are more than three times the price other OECD nations pay, even after accounting for discounts manufacturers provide in the U.S.

The United States has less than five percent of the world’s population, yet funds roughly 75% of global pharmaceutical profits.

Drug manufacturers discount their products to gain access to foreign markets and then subsidize those discounts through high prices charged in America—in essence, Americans are subsidizing drug-manufacturer profits and foreign health systems, despite drug manufacturers benefiting from generous research subsidies and enormous healthcare spending by the U.S. Government.

In his first term, President Trump took historic action to keep Medicare and seniors from paying more for drugs than economically comparable countries, which the Biden Administration rescinded before it could take effect.

Instead of fixing this problem, the Biden Administration’s greatest achievement was to negotiate prices that were, on average, 78 percent higher than in 11 comparable countries as part of Biden’s effort to “beat Medicare.”

DELIVERING ON PROMISES TO PUT AMERICAN PATIENTS FIRST: President Trump is delivering on his promise to once again put America first by furthering efforts to get American patients and taxpayers a fair deal for prescription drugs.

This Order builds on actions from President Trump’s first term to make progress on reducing price disparities at home and expands those efforts by including Medicaid in addition to Medicare.

President Trump recently signed an Executive Order to take additional action to lower drug prices, including by providing massive discounts to low-income patients for lifesaving medicines, facilitating importation programs, and increasing the availability of generic and biosimilar medicines.

President Trump is also working to make drug prices radically transparent, as he recently signed an Executive Order to build on his historic price transparency efforts undertaken during his first term.

President Trump has been relentless in his effort to address the unfair and outrageous prices Americans pay for prescription drugs:

President Trump: “In case after case, our citizens pay massively higher prices than other nations pay for the same exact pill, from the same factory, effectively subsidizing socialism aboard [abroad] with skyrocketing prices at home. So we would spend tremendous amounts of money in order to provide inexpensive drugs to another country. And when I say the price is different, you can see some examples where the price is beyond anything — four times, five times different.”

Meloni Skips Euroglobalist Summit in Kyiv, Stands Firm on Italy’s Independent Stance on Ukraine as Macron & Co. Push for European Troop Deployment

Italy’s Trump-aligned, national-conservative Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is holding her ground in the face of growing pressure from European globalists to escalate military involvement in Ukraine.

At a recent summit in Kyiv on May 10, Meloni made a bold decision to attend remotely, rather than in person like some of her European counterparts. In the end, it was only French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz who gathered to show their unwavering support for Ukrainian President Zelensky, but Meloni’s absence spoke volumes about Italy’s independent approach to the ongoing conflict.

Instead of joining the chorus calling for more aggressive intervention, Meloni’s stance remains clear: Italy will support Ukraine politically and militarily, but she will not send troops into the conflict.

As one source put it, Italy’s position is to “push for stronger security guarantees for Ukraine,” such as NATO-style assurances, but without extending full NATO membership to Kyiv. Meloni’s approach is guided by a commitment to Ukrainian sovereignty, but without risking further escalation that could draw Europe into an uncontrollable war.

Meloni’s firm stand against European military intervention aligns with her broader nationalist and counter-globalist worldview, one that prioritizes peace over conflict. While Macron, Merz, Starmer, and Tusk pushed for the creation of an integrated air-land-sea force and a 30-day ceasefire, Meloni remained adamant that such moves would only further inflame tensions.

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk took a stroll through Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after giving Moscow a thirty day ceasefire deal ultimatum pic.twitter.com/aLeBzFTK4Y

— The New Region (@thenewregion) May 10, 2025

In her remote address, she stressed that “conditions for a just and lasting peace are necessary,” echoing the sentiments she recently expressed during her meeting with former US President Donald Trump in Washington.

Her cautious and measured approach resonates with many conservatives and right-wing nationalists across Europe, who see the dangers of overcommitting to a war that has already caused untold suffering and instability. “Europe must act as a voice for peace, not as a pawn in a geopolitical game,” Meloni said, signaling her commitment to finding a long-term solution to the conflict that respects both Ukraine’s sovereignty and European stability.

The Italian left has wasted no time in criticizing Meloni’s decision. The leftist attacks reflect a growing rift within Italy’s political landscape, as they push for a more interventionist foreign policy.

But while critics from the Italian left, including former Prime Ministers Giuseppe Conte and Matteo Renzi, accused her of “watching from the sidelines” and abandoning Italy’s role on the international stage, Meloni’s office defended her absence as a calculated political decision.

According to sources close to the prime minister, Meloni has consistently refused to commit Italy to military ventures that lack clear objectives, such as the deployment of European troops in Ukraine without a UN mandate or peacekeeping framework—a proposal supported by Macron and others at the summit.

For Meloni, this is more than just a matter of political strategy—it’s a vision for a future of peace, not war. She has vowed to continue supporting Ukraine, but in ways that focus on sustainable solutions, not grandiose gestures.

In July, Italy will host a major international reconstruction conference for Ukraine, where world leaders will discuss real, actionable plans for rebuilding the war-torn country, without resorting to more dangerous military escalations.

Meloni’s approach is a breath of fresh air for those who are weary of the constant push for war and the overreach of the globalist agenda. While Macron and other EU leaders continue to push for more drastic measures in Ukraine, Meloni remains steadfast in her belief that true peace and stability can only be achieved through negotiation and mutual respect, not military escalation.

Her clear stance is a reminder that there are still leaders in Europe who prioritize their nation’s sovereignty and the well-being of their people over the geopolitical whims of reckless globalist elites.

White House Announces Details of Historic Deal with China – Tariffs Reduced by 115% During 90 Day Pause Period, China Agrees to Address Fentanyl Crisis

Image courtesy of the U.S. Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party.

The White House has released details on the historic trade deal with China that President Trump and his team secured on Sunday cutting both countries’ tariffs on each other’s imported goods by 115% for at least 90 days.

U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent held Discussions in Geneva, Switzerland, with Chinese Representatives. These talks aimed to address the escalating trade war, which has seen the U.S. impose tariffs as high as 145% on Chinese goods, with China retaliating with 125% tariffs on American products.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday, Bessent announced that they struck a deal during their eight-hour meetings.

BREAKING: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent Strikes Breakthrough Trade Deal with China

This new deal with China comes after President Trump announced his first trade deal in a press conference with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which retains the United States’ 10% reciprocal tariff rate along with increased tariffs on automobile imports. Meanwhile, the White House says the UK is expected to reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers on meat, poultry, and dairy, which can exceed 125%.

China and the United States have agreed to reduce tariffs by May 14, with China retaining a 10% tariff on American goods while the US retains a 10% reciprocal tariff on Chinese goods. Additionally, China has agreed to help the US “take aggressive actions to stem the flow of fentanyl and other precursors from China to illicit drug producers in North America.”

“To be very clear, other measures that the United States has put in place in the past, whether it’s tariff measures from 2018 or since, tariffs under other statutory authorities, tariffs like the fentanyl those remain unchanged for now to decide,” Greer said in a press conference. “I’ll just make one point, is that both the Chinese and the United States agreed to work constructively together on fentanyl, and there’s a positive path forward there as well.”

Here are more details from the White House:

SECURING ANOTHER HISTORIC DEAL: Today, on the heels of the brand-new deal with the United Kingdom, President Donald J. Trump reached an agreement with China to reduce China’s tariffs and eliminate retaliation, retain a U.S. baseline tariff on China, and set a path for future discussions to open market access for American exports.

Today, the United States issued the first joint statement on trade in many years with China after successful negotiations over the weekend in Geneva, Switzerland.
Both parties affirmed the importance of the critical bilateral economic and trade relationship between both countries and the global economy.
For too long, unfair trade practices and America’s massive trade deficit with China have fueled the offshoring of American jobs and the decline of our manufacturing sector.
In reaching an agreement, the United States and China will each lower tariffs by 115% while retaining an additional 10% tariff. Other U.S. measures will remain in place.
Both sides will take these actions by May 14, 2025.
This trade deal is a win for the United States, demonstrating President Trump’s unparalleled expertise in securing deals that benefit the American people.

CHINESE ACTIONS: China will remove the retaliatory tariffs it announced since April 4, 2025, and will also suspend or remove the non-tariff countermeasures taken against the United States since April 2, 2025.

China will also suspend its initial 34% tariff on the United States it announced on April 4, 2025 for 90 days, but will retain a 10% tariff during the period of the pause.

AMERICAN ACTIONS: The United States will remove the additional tariffs it imposed on China on April 8 and April 9, 2025, but will retain all duties imposed on China prior to April 2, 2025, including Section 301 tariffs, Section 232 tariffs, tariffs imposed in response to the fentanyl national emergency invoked pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, and Most Favored Nation tariffs.

The United States will suspend its 34% reciprocal tariff imposed on April 2, 2025 for 90 days, but retain a 10% tariff during the period of the pause.
The 10% tariff continues to set a fair baseline that encourages domestic production, strengthens our supply chains and ensures that American trade policy supports American workers first, instead of undercutting them.
By imposing reciprocal tariffs, President Trump is ensuring our trade policy works for the American economy, addresses our national emergency brought on by our growing and persistent trade deficit, and levels the playing field for American workers and producers.
Unlike previous administrations, President Trump took a tough, uncompromising stance on China to protect American interests and stop unfair trade practices.

WORKING TOWARDS A REBALANCING: When these changes come into effect, both nations agreed to establish a mechanism to continue important discussions about trade and economics.

The U.S. goods trade deficit with China was $295.4 billion in 2024—the largest with any trading partner.
Today’s agreement works toward addressing these imbalances to deliver real, lasting benefits to American workers, famers, and businesses.
As our nations continue these discussions, China will be represented by He Lifeng, Vice Premier of the State Council.
The United States will be represented by Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Treasury, and Jamieson Greer, United States Trade Representative.

ADDRESSING THE FENTANYL CRISIS: The United States and China will take aggressive actions to stem the flow of fentanyl and other precursors from China to illicit drug producers in North America.

Trump’s Military Shakeup: Strengthening National Defense

Photo by Spc. Hubert D. Delany III / Courtesy of Army Times

President Trump is shaking up the U.S. military with a series of executive orders and structural reforms aimed at restoring focus, discipline, and combat readiness.

Together with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump has moved to eliminate ideological distractions and to reorient the armed forces around warfighting, deterrence, and strength.

His initiatives include reinstating the ban on transgender service members, eliminating DEI programs from military institutions, reinstating troops discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, launching development of an “American Iron Dome” missile defense system, ordering a 20% reduction in four-star generals, restructuring Army commands for greater efficiency, and proposing the largest defense budget in U.S. history to modernize forces, raise pay, and revitalize the defense industrial base.

On January 27, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14183, titled “Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness,” reinstating a policy that bars individuals from serving in the U.S. military if they identify with a gender different from their biological sex.

The Department of Defense was directed to revise its regulations accordingly, including halting all gender-affirming medical procedures for service members.

The Supreme Court allowed the order to take effect on May 6, 2025, though legal challenges remain ongoing.

Transition procedures, recovery time, and ongoing hormone treatments reduce deployability and undermine unit readiness.

By maintaining biologically based service standards, the military can enforce medically and operationally relevant criteria that prioritize combat effectiveness over individual accommodation.

The military’s standard of uniformity and constant readiness. Additionally, the military’s standards of uniformity are incompatible with long recovery periods or ongoing non-deployable conditions.

The Trump administration also cites pre-2016 policy, before the Obama-era changes, when such a ban was in place and the military functioned effectively.

Some commanders have raised concerns about morale and cohesion in shared living spaces, such as showers and sleeping quarters, which may be disrupted by gender identity differences.

The order is intended to remove such friction points and reinforce discipline and trust within combat units. Both President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth have stressed that military service should be based on the ability to fight and win wars, not on identity categories.

An executive order was signed to reinstate service members who were discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, restoring their rank and providing back pay.

This action aims to address concerns over personal freedoms and rectify what some viewed as unjust dismissals.

Meanwhile, as part of a broader effort to restructure the U.S. military, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a 20% reduction in four-star generals and admirals, along with a 10% cut across all general and flag officer ranks.

Dubbed the “Less Generals, More GIs” initiative, the move is intended to reduce bureaucracy, eliminate redundant leadership roles, and reallocate resources to frontline units.

Hegseth highlighted the imbalance by noting that during World War II, 17 four-star generals oversaw 12 million troops, whereas today 44 four-stars oversee just over 2 million.

The cuts aim to streamline command structures, accelerate decision-making, and reduce internal friction among senior leadership.

Fewer high-ranking officers also means smaller support staffs and budgets, allowing funds and personnel to be shifted toward operational units.

President Trump has directed the development of a missile defense system modeled on Israel’s Iron Dome, aimed at intercepting short-range rockets and bolstering homeland security.

The United States already possesses advanced systems such as THAAD, Patriot, and Aegis BMD, and has tested two Iron Dome batteries purchased from Israel in 2020.

The proposed U.S. system, sometimes referred to as the “Golden Dome”, would likely integrate existing technologies with new tools like drone swarms, lasers, and cyber defenses.

While the Iron Dome is optimized for short-range threats like rockets and mortars, the American version would focus on localized defense, such as protecting forward bases, key infrastructure, and vulnerable territories like Guam or Hawaii, from cruise missiles, drone swarms, and other asymmetric threats.

The Iron Dome initiative faces funding and scalability challenges.

Each interceptor missile can cost up to $100,000, while many incoming threats, such as drones or low-cost rockets, are far cheaper.

Establishing a nationwide missile defense network would require mass production of interceptors, expanded radar coverage, and the deployment of hundreds of batteries.

While financially intensive, it may be achievable under the Trump administration’s proposed $1.01 trillion defense budget.

President Trump’s proposed FY2026 defense budget marks the largest in U.S. history, representing a 13% increase from the previous year’s $893 billion allocation.

The proposal reflects a broad investment in military modernization, readiness, and deterrence.

Apart from the Iron Dome, key allocations include upgrading cyber capabilities, and acquiring next-generation aircraft to maintain technological superiority.

The budget also includes a 4.5% pay raise for military personnel to improve recruitment and retention, alongside investments in revitalizing the defense industrial base.

This includes efforts to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply chain resilience to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers.

Trump’s defense initiatives aim not only to strengthen the military’s ability to fight and win wars, but also to reinforce the principle that the military exists for warfighting, not as a large-scale welfare system.

These reforms send a clear message that defense decisions will be based on practicality and mission effectiveness, not demographics or shifting cultural trends.

While the proposed defense budget is historically large, it also supports the broader goal of revitalizing the U.S. industrial base and reducing reliance on China in critical supply chains.

U.S. and China Announce Tariff Pause

The U.S. and China announced in a joint statement on Monday morning that both countries would be significantly reducing their tariffs during a 90-day period, a major breakthrough in trade negotiations. Both countries have engaged in escalating the penalties imposed on each others’ imports since President Donald Trump first imposed new tariffs on China in February.

The agreement stipulates that beginning May 14, China will reduce tariffs on U.S. imports from 125 percent to 10 percent, while the U.S. will lower its import duties on Chinese goods from 145 percent to 30 percent. Trump’s “fentanyl tariff” of 20 percent will remain in place, along with the President’s 10 percent universal tariff on imports.

The tariff rollback is only a temporary measure, and will expire after 90 days. Trade talks will continue, but the details of a potential long-term settlement remain unclear. “We do want trade,” Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent told reporters. “We want more balance in trade. And I think both sides are committed to achieving that.”

Treasury Secretary Bessent: “The Chinese Told Us Once Joe Biden Came into Office They Just Ignored Their Obligations”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and lost Joe Biden in 2022 (US Marshals Service)

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent spoke with reporters on Monday following trade talks this past weekend with Chinese officials in Geneva, Switzerland.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday, Bessent announced that they struck a deal during their eight-hour meetings.

On Monday morning Secretary Bessent spoke with reporters about the trade talks with China. Bessent told them that China blew off their trade obligations when Joe Biden entered office.

They knew he was weak.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: In January 2020, President Trump produced a template. We had an excellent trade agreement with China, and the Biden administration chose not to enforce it. The Chinese delegation basically told us that once President Biden came into office, they just ignored their obligations. So we all already have a large framework.

The other thing to remember here, Jonathan, is that this is a pause down to 10 %. The April second level for China is 34 %. So we will be working to see where their final reciprocal number ends up. The negotiations are a combination of tariffs, non-tariff trade barriers, currency manipulation, and subsidies of labor and capital.

HOLY SMOKES: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just revealed that the Chinese said during their closed-door talks that they IGNORED their trade commitments under Biden because they knew he was weak.

This statement by the Chinese trade officials also exposes them as untrustworthy. Their agreements should be honored no matter who is leading America. President Trump understands this.

Putin Pushes for Direct Peace Talks in Istanbul as Ukraine & Euroglobalists Demand Preconditioned Truce

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for the resumption of direct peace talks with Ukraine, proposing a meeting in Istanbul on May 15 without any preconditions.

The offer has been welcomed by Turkey’s strongman President Erdoğan and cautiously echoed by US President Donald Trump, but rejected by Kyiv and Europe’s globalist leaders, who are insisting that Russia first agree to an “unconditional” 30-day ceasefire.

Speaking from the Kremlin in a late-night address, Putin stated: “We propose the Kyiv authorities resume the negotiations they interrupted at the end of 2022… without any preconditions… to begin without delay next Thursday, 15 May in Istanbul.” He emphasized that the talks should aim for a “long-term, lasting peace” and not just a pause in hostilities.

WATCH: Putin’s full statement after talks with world leaders

Major point: peace talks proposal for Ukraine.

Time? May 15

Where? Istanbul (Turkey)

Will Zelensky agree? pic.twitter.com/laji4ONA5e

— Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil (@ivan_8848) May 11, 2025

The Istanbul talks in March 2022, according to former U.S. officials speaking to Foreign Affairs, had produced the framework for a tentative peace deal. Russian officials, including Putin, later confirmed that a settlement was close. However, the process abruptly collapsed following intensified Western intervention. A report by Ukrainska Pravda revealed that then–UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kyiv in April 2022 and urged Zelensky not to sign any agreement with Russia.

Those Istanbul negotiations had reportedly included provisions that would have seen Ukraine adopt neutrality in exchange for international security guarantees—a framework that has since been all but ignored by Western allies.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, for his part, has responded with conditions of his own. “I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally,” Zelensky wrote on X. “But only if Moscow agrees to a full and lasting ceasefire, starting from tomorrow.” He further warned that Kyiv was tired of what he called Moscow’s “excuses.”

We await a full and lasting ceasefire, starting from tomorrow, to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy. There is no point in prolonging the killings. And I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally. I hope that this time the Russians will not look for…

— Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський (@ZelenskyyUa) May 11, 2025

This conditional stance has raised eyebrows in some quarters, as it appears Kyiv continues to set hurdles for talks it previously abandoned in 2022, leaving many with the impression that it’s not serious about reaching a peace agreement.

President Erdoğan, maintaining his country’s unusual position as a NATO member with balanced ties to both Russia and Ukraine, reiterated Ankara’s willingness to host negotiations.

According to a readout from his office, Erdoğan told Putin that “a comprehensive ceasefire would create the necessary environment for peace talks,” but welcomed Russia’s willingness to return to the table.

Turkey’s role stands in stark contrast to that of the European bloc. At a summit in Kyiv, attended by Zelensky along with exceedingly unpopular globalist premiers like French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, leaders issued a joint ultimatum to Moscow: agree to an immediate 30-day ceasefire or face severe new sanctions.

“All of us here, together with the US, are calling Putin out,” Starmer declared. “If he turns his back on peace, we will respond. We will ramp up sanctions and increase our military aid for Ukraine’s defence.”

Critics, particularly in Central Europe, note the irony of Western powers demanding “unconditional” ceasefires while simultaneously rejecting Russia’s offer for unconditional talks. Hungary, though not directly represented at the Kyiv summit, has frequently criticized what it calls the West’s double standards and endless escalation.

Moscow has dismissed Kyiv’s ceasefire demands as tactical stalling, suggesting Ukraine would exploit the lull to rearm. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia was reviewing the terms of the Western-backed truce, but remained skeptical of its sincerity given Ukraine’s previous violations of three Russian-initiated ceasefires — including the recent 72-hour Victory Day pause.

President Trump, commenting via Truth Social, said, “There’s a big week upcoming,” and reiterated his desire to end the “never-ending bloodbath.” He added that “the USA wants to focus, instead, on rebuilding and trade,” signaling a shift away from Washington’s current posture of open-ended support for Kyiv.

In private discussions with European leaders during the Kyiv summit, Trump reportedly urged Zelensky to accept Moscow’s offer “immediately,” according to aides. Trump’s team has argued that “Moscow doesn’t want a mere ceasefire—it wants to negotiate a possible end to the bloodbath.”

This latest episode reveals the increasingly fractured approach to the war. While Ukraine, backed by its Western patrons, insists on dictating terms before negotiations, Russia, despite its continued wins on the battlefield, has shown a willingness to talk. Turkey, meanwhile, has emerged as one of the few actors capable of brokering a serious diplomatic track, if only both sides are prepared to engage.

Whether Kyiv’s conditions amount to a diplomatic deadlock or a negotiating strategy remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that peace will remain elusive as long as ceasefire demands are used as political leverage rather than starting points for dialogue.

Thicko Rep. Jasmine Crockett Bemoans Democrats Who Want to Pick ‘Safest White Boy’ in 2028 (VIDEO)

Rep. Jasmine Crockett has said that many Democrats want to choose the “safest white boy” ahead of the 2028 presidential election.

During an appearance on the Urban View radio broadcast with hosts Clay Cane and Reecie Colbert, Crockett complained that Democrats plan on picking a white male rather than another black woman to improve their chacnes of victory.

She explained:

And I think that that’s a natural fear because we just want to win. So there’s a lot of people that are like, you know what? Like, let’s go find the safest white boy we can find. I mean, I’m just saying.

No, for real. And to be clear, when we talk about them, I can tell you that there is one specific candidate.

I had a donor on the phone with me telling me that all the donors are lining up behind that candidate. So I can tell, and I tell you, it’s not a black person nor a woman, okay?

…

People fail to recognize how unique Trump is. They continue to say, ‘Well, we lost.’ Well, they both lost to Trump.

Trump who is a misogynist, Trump who is going to ramp up the misogynists in the first place because that’s what he does.

He is disrespectful. Like, right now, he still doesn’t know how to deal with me. Because if you punch me, I’m punching back, okay?

Watch the clip below:

Since Trump won his landslide victory last November, Crockett has become a rising star in the Democratic Party because of her vulgarity, calls to violence and racially charged rhetoric.

Last week, Crockett tried to claim that Republicans were “inherently violent” and the party of domestic terrorism.

“Like all of them— ya got the Proud Boys, you got the Neo-Nazis, you have people that literally should be classified as domestic terrorists because a lot of times that is what they are doing,” she explaiend.

”They are engaging in domestic terrorism, and guess what? They all align with your side, including the KKK,” she continued.

‘This is who aligns with that— so like, inherently, and like who you are, y’all are violent, and most of your violence has to do with people that’s got a little bit of melanin.”

How 50 Days of Joel Gilbert’s “Letitia Files” at The Gateway Pundit Helped Restore Justice in America

Investigative journalism can make a difference. Beginning on March 18, 2025, Joel Gilbert, an investigative journalist and filmmaker, authored a series of articles for The Gateway Pundit under the banner “The Letitia Files”.

His articles focused on allegations of misconduct by New York Attorney General Letitia James. These articles primarily centered on claims of mortgage fraud, insurance fraud, campaign finance violations, and other ethical concerns related to James’s real estate dealings and political activities.

The result was an official referral of Letitia James to the Department of Justice and an FBI investigation. Below is the summary of “The Letitia Files” that The Gateway Pundit has published over the past 50 days.

March 18, 2025: Big Development: Is Letitia James Guilty of Mortgage Fraud?

Gilbert alleges that James misrepresented her Brooklyn apartment building at 296 Lafayette Avenue as a four-unit property on mortgage applications for over two decades, despite official records (Certificate of Occupancy) confirming it has five units.

This misrepresentation allowed James to secure favorable loans, including a 2011 Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan at a 2.7% interest rate, saving her an estimated $44,000 annually.

The article suggests that these actions constitute mortgage fraud, especially since HAMP loans were restricted to properties with four or fewer units. He also questions James’s claim of financial hardship for the HAMP loan, noting her 2011 income of at least $ 14,000 per month.

March 20, 2025: Mortgage Fraud Alert: Did Letitia James Marry Her Father?

Gilbert reports that in 1983, James and her father Robert James, took out a $30,300 mortgage from Kadilac Funding Ltd. for a property at 114-04 Inwood Street in Queens, listing themselves as “husband and wife” on loan documents.

He argues this misrepresentation of their relationship was likely a deliberate attempt to secure better loan terms, as James, then 24 and with limited income, may have struggled to qualify for a mortgage as a single woman. Gilbert posits this as potential mortgage fraud.

March 25, 2025: The Letitia Files: Did Letitia James Illegally Hire a Nonprofit for Her 2013 Campaign?

Gilbert alleges that James’s 2013 campaign for New York City Public Advocate illegally hired New York Communities for Change (NYCC), a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, to perform campaign activities such as canvassing, staffing, and providing resources like phones and rent. Payments totaling $3,494.38 are cited as evidence. He argues that these activities likely constituted in-kind contributions, which are illegal for a 501(c)(4) to provide to a political campaign.

April 11, 2025: Revealed: NY Attorney General Letitia James Declares Virginia Home Her ‘Principal Residence’

This article was reprinted with permission from White Collar Fraud, a website run by forensic accountant Sam Antar who has worked with Joel Gilbert. Antar and Gilbert would soon visit James’s apartment building together in Brooklyn.

Antar shows that Letitia James falsely claimed a property she purchased in Norfolk, Virginia would be her “primary residence” in mortgage documents in 2023. The designation affected underwriting criteria, risk evaluation, interest rates, and insurance rates, giving James financial advantages she was not entitled to given her primary residence was in Brooklyn.

April 13, 2025: New for Letitia Files: Is Letitia James’ Rage Against Trump Really a ‘Daddy Issue?’

This article suggests that James’s aggressive legal pursuit of Donald Trump may stem from personal issues related to her father Robert’s abandonment of her family when she was a teenager.

Gilbert details how Robert James left his wife and eight children to buy a home for and live with his girlfriend, potentially motivating James’s political vendetta against Trump.

April 17, 2025: NEW EVIDENCE AGAINST NY AG: Letitia James’s Fishy Virginia Foreclosure Purchase in Martinsville Warrants Separate Investigation

Gilbert raises questions about James’s involvement in a 2008 foreclosure purchase of a single-family home at 21 Peters Street in Martinsville, Virginia, alongside two relatives.

James’s first name is misspelled as “Letitua” on the documents, which Gilbert suggests may have been intentional to obscure the transaction.

Gilbert argues James failing to appear on the deed raises potential violations of Virginia law and New York Public Officers Law, as James may have failed to disclose this property in campaign finance or ethics filings.

April 21, 2025: New in the Letitia Files: Did New York AG Letitia James Commit Insurance Fraud, Too? It Looks Like It

Gilbert expands on the mortgage fraud allegations, claiming that James’s misrepresentation of her Brooklyn property as a four-unit building allowed her to secure lower insurance premiums, as five-unit buildings are subject to higher commercial rates.

He also cites forensic accountant Sam Antar’s findings that James claimed a Norfolk, Virginia, property as her primary residence in 2023. Gilbert argues these actions constitute insurance fraud.

April 24, 2025: More Letitia Files: Is NY Attorney General Letitia James a Slumlord?

Gilbert alleges that James neglected her responsibilities as a landlord at her five-unit Brooklyn property, citing 17 complaints filed with the New York City Department of Buildings and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development over 20 months.

These include unauthorized construction, illegal use of apartments as hotel rooms, peeling paint, and bedbug infestations. Gilbert labels James a “slumlord,” arguing that her failure to maintain safe living conditions contradicts her public advocacy for tenant rights and housing justice.

April 25, 2025: Here Are Letitia James’s Two Big Lies in Her Building Registration that Appear to Defraud NYC — Serious Offense with Significant Legal and Financial Consequences

Gilbert claims James falsified the registration of her Brooklyn property with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), listing it as a three-story building with four units, despite it being a four-story building with five units.

He argues these misrepresentations were intentional to avoid stricter regulations (e.g., fire escapes, sprinklers, or ADA compliance) and higher insurance premiums applicable to larger buildings. Gilbert calls for James’s resignation, citing her own mantra, “No one is above the law.”

April 29, 2025: BIG NEWS by Joel Gilbert on the Letita Files: My Visit to Letitia James’s Apartment Building CONFIRMS Mortgage Fraud Allegations (VIDEO)

Gilbert, alongside forensic accountant Sam Antar, visits James’s Brooklyn property to document its physical characteristics, confirming it has four stories and five units, contradicting James’s claims. Photographic and video evidence is cited to support allegations of mortgage fraud.

May 6, 2025: The Letitia Files: How Racial Politics Fueled Letitia James’s Political Ambitions

Gilbert explores James’s political origins, claiming her academic records at Fort Hamilton High School and Lehman College (1976–1982) show little evidence of engagement. He suggests her political awakening came from a 10-year mentorship under radical Assemblyman Al Vann in the 1990s, who influenced her focus on racial politics. Gilbert frames James’s career as driven by “racial animus and opportunism,” comparing her pursuit of Trump to Captain Ahab’s obsession with Moby Dick.

May 8, 2025: The Legal Risks Facing Letitia James: Mortgage Fraud, Campaign Violations, Nonprofit Misuse, and There’s More

This article summarizes the allegations against James, including the 1983 “husband and wife” mortgage with her father, the Brooklyn property misrepresentations, the 2013 campaign’s misuse of nonprofit NYCC, and the 2023 Virginia property residency claim.

Gilbert argues that James’s actions erode public trust and that she must be held accountable to maintain the legitimacy of New York’s legal system.

May 9, 2025: Missing Heirs and Mental Illness: The Bizarre Case of Letitia James’s Father’s Estate

Gilbert examines what he describes as troubling inconsistencies in New York Attorney General Letitia James’s handling of her father Robert James’s estate following his death in 1986.

Gilbert highlights that Letitia reported two siblings, Alberta and Marsha James, as “missing” with unknown whereabouts, which allowed James to administer the estate without their input or legal cross-examination.

Gilbert also points out that Letitia’s brother was diagnosed as Schizophrenic and was incapacitated, and wonders if mental illness runs in the James family.

May 10, 2025: Baseless Charges? Letitia James’s Attorney’s Letter is a PR Stunt with No Legal Substance

Gilbert breaks down high-profile Democrat defense attorney Abbe Lowell’s public defense of Letitia James to a criminal referral filed by U.S. Federal Housing Director William Pulte.

Gilbert says Lowell’s entire letter to Pam Bondi smacks of a public relations stunt, rather than a legal defense, as Lowell portrays the DOJ referral as an act of political vengeance by Donald Trump.

He says that Lowell’s argument may hold weight in the court of public opinion, but it is legally irrelevant, that investigations and referrals must be evaluated based on evidence, not alleged motives.
