While “elected” Democrat officials like Michigan Governor Whitmer, MI Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (who is now running for governor), and MI AG Dana Nessel have used Detroit to push them over the finish line in critical elections, very little focus by these elected officials has been placed on actually helping the few citizens who actually voted for them. Step outside of the “safe zones” where people both inside and outside of Detroit come for sports, entertainment, shopping, and dining, and you will find a much different picture.

Downtown Highland Park, Michigan, an enclave of Detroit, is an example of how these forgotten communities have been mismanaged by “elected” Democrats for decades.

It’s no secret that Democrats rely on these black-majority cities when it comes time for elections. Black-majority cities across America have become reliable, massive voting blocs for Democrats, so much so that, according to Ramon Jackson, they don’t even bother to campaign in the city of Detroit. “Ellissa Slotkin didn’t even have to come to the city of Detroit, because she knew that they would give her the votes she needed to win her recent US Senate election,” Ramon told us.

Although President Trump won the state of Michigan by a large number, somehow, the unpopular Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Elissa Slotkin was able to win over a large enough number of “voters” in Detroit’s November 2024 election, that she secured a seat in the US Senate to replace the now-retired Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Neighborhoods in the city of Detroit have been neglected for decades. “Elected” Democrats look the other way as trash piles up in front of occupied and unoccupied homes. Feral packs of dogs roam the streets of Detroit. Community centers that once served as safe spaces for children in black-majority communities across America have been turned into shelters for illegal aliens, and the decent-paying jobs in factories that many living in these neighborhoods once had were stripped away when manufacturing was shipped overseas. The Democrats Detroiters ‘elected’ have done absolutely nothing to bring those factory jobs back.

Meanwhile, Democrat election officials from critical swing states, with black-majority communities that magically push them over the finish line in crucial elections, like Democrat SOS Jocelyn Benson, who notoriously has administered the most crooked and non-transparent elections in America, received “awards” from former “President” Joe Biden for their “good work” in the 2020 election.

Pastor Lorenzo’s passionate plea for help from Michigan lawmakers to fix the fraudulent elections laid bare the harsh reality of why Democrats don’t feel compelled to repay them for their “votes,” once they’re elected.

“I’ve come to say that we’re suffering today—suffering with poverty, crime, and foreclosures…” he began.

Pastor Sewell continued, “I’ve come here today crying out for the poor—not only Detroit, but 16 majority black cities that suffer the greatest! The outspoken pastor told the election integrity committee that Michigan is not unique when it comes to mass voter fraud being perpetrated on black-majority cities in America. “{One thousand majority cities in America representing 52 congressional districts that all share one thing in common—They are the worst of the worst communities to live in!” he said, asking, “Why is that? Why is it that when you see Black people gather together, that you see some of the greatest ills in our nation?”

“As a pastor, I have to understand,” Pastor Lorenzo Sewell told the committee, as he introduced his friend, whom he calls his ‘political mentor, Ramon Jackson. “And with the system of the greatest political mind that has ever crossed the bridge of time, Ramon Jackson. With his proprietary system— he’s helped me he’s help our church. And now, he can help Michigan, and help our nation be able to uncover why what is the causal root of why Black people are suffering the way they are,” he asked and then responded, “The causal root is a political murderer!” He explained, “We found a political murder in the street! This political murder is a serial killer, and we see all the dead bodies of poverty, crime, foreclosure, illiteracy, and an epidemic of commercial buildings and churches being taken because of water drainage fees, illegal municipal bonds. We see that these are nothing but dead bodies! And this one serial killer—this one political murderer—is the one who we can all handcuff today with your help!” he told the committee. “That you would ask me who is that political murderer?” Pastor Sewell asked, adding, “His name is election fraud! He uses the weapon of people who are not elected by us, but ‘selected.’ He uses this weapon of people that we never voted in, but they were cheated. He uses this weapon to cause this continuum of crisis in our communities, people that don’t represent us because they were never voted in by us! They mismanage our resources. They misappropriate our funds, and they do it because they were never elected by us!”

“And we’re asking you today. Would you help stop our suffering? We’re asking you today if you would please help stop all of our pain. We’re asking you today—Would you help your largest shareholders? We’re the single largest voting bloc! Help handcuff this criminal.”

Pastor Sewell’s plea for help was met with applause from the large group of Detroit residents who traveled with him to Lansing to show their support and to testify about how voter fraud has directly affected them. These people are asking Michigan lawmakers to do what should have been done decades ago: get rid of the dead and fake voters on their voter rolls and give them a chance to see honest election results in their city.

President Trump on Thursday announced his first trade deal over tariffs and reciprocal trade with the United Kingdom.  

“With this deal, the UK joins the United States in affirming that reciprocity and fairness is an essential and vital principle of international trade,” Trump said while announcing the agreement.

“In addition, the UK will reduce or eliminate numerous non-tariff barriers that unfairly discriminated against American products.“

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who joined the ceremony via phone, stated, “With this President and this Prime Minister, we’ve managed to achieve what many people have tried to achieve for many years, and I’m really pleased.”

The White House provided a fact sheet with full details on the agreement.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President previewed the announcement in Truth Social posts yesterday and today.

“It is a great honor to have the United Kingdom as our FIRST announcement. Many other deals, which are in serious stages of negotiation, to follow!” he said on Thursday morning.

Tariff negotiations between U.S. and Chinese officials are also scheduled in Switzerland this weekend, The Gateway Pundit reported.

President Trump made the announcement in the Oval Office with Vice President Vance and members of the cabinet on Thursday.

They’ll also be fast tracking American goods through their customs process, so our exports go to a very, very quick form of approval, and there won’t be any red tape. We think just about everything has been approved; so good for both countries, and we’ll also receive new market access for American chemicals, machinery, and many other industrial products that weren’t allowed. Furthermore, in a historic step, the deal includes plans that will bring the United Kingdom into the economic security alignment with the United States. That’s the first of its kind. So, we have a big economic security blanket, and that’s very important, and we feel very, very comfortable with that, because it’s been a great ally, truly one of our great allies. A lot of people say our greatest ally. I don’t want to insult people by saying that, but I can say it’s certainly one of our greatest and right at the top, and they’re the first one we’re talking about. And by the way, we have many meetings planned today and tomorrow, and every country wants to be making deals. And we have a meeting, as you know, Scott will be going over to Switzerland on Saturday, and that will be very, very interesting. Let’s find out. But I think they want to make a deal very badly too. Both countries have agreed that the economic security is nationally secured, and we’ll be working together as allies to ensure that we have a strong industrial base appropriate export controls and protections for key technologies and industries like steel. Steel is a big factor. Both countries will become stronger with steel and things necessary for military. This is going to boost trade between and across our countries, it’s going to not only protect jobs, but create jobs, opening market access.

There are no two countries that are closer than our two countries, but now we take this into new and important territory by adding trade and the economy to the closeness of our relationship. It is built, as you say, on those notions of fairness and reciprocal arrangements. We’ve have always had a fair and balanced arrangement between our countries. This builds on that hugely important for sectors like car manufacturing and for steel and aluminum and so many others.

And yes, we can finish ironing out some of the details, but there’s a fantastic platform here, including, of course, on the tech side, where I think I’m right in saying we’re the only two Western countries with trillion dollar sectors when it comes to tech. And in the end, it comes down to, as you say, Donald, economic security is national security. On national security, we’ve been absolutely the closest of allies for so many years, keeping the peace through that close alliance, that friendship.

Now we add to that this deal on trade and the economy, and I want to thank you for your leadership on that, Donald, and for the way in which your team have negotiated this. I’m so pleased that we’ve got this deal, we’ve finalized it, and we’ve built an incredible platform for the future. So, thank you so much.

With this President and this Prime Minister, we’ve managed to achieve what many people have tried to achieve for many years, and I’m really pleased. And it feels completely historic.

On May 25, 2020, the owner of a store in South Minneapolis called the police to report an individual, George Floyd, who had apparently purchased a pack of cigarettes using a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill. When the police arrived and arrested George Floyd, he resisted.

During the struggle, Floyd suffered a heart attack that caused his death; according to another medical report, the cause was asphyxiation. One of the arresting officers, Derek Chauvin, was sentenced to 22 years in prison on June 25, 2021.

A few days earlier, on June 21, 2021, then-President Joe Biden visited the Floyd family. In a press conference, wearing a surgical mask over his face, he urged the jury—which was already deliberating in private—to issue a “fair verdict.”

Previously, on April 17, 2021, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters told the press that protesters should “stay on the street” and “get more confrontational” if Derek Chauvin were acquitted.

With these statements from powerful political figures and the ongoing pressure in the streets from violent protests organized under the pretext of Floyd’s death at the hands of a white police officer—combined with all the health restrictions imposed under the excuse of the COVID pandemic—the fate of Officer Chauvin was sealed.

2020: An Election Year and Organized Violence.

The year 2020 was an election year, and Trump’s reelection seemed imminent, with a constantly growing economy, zero unemployment, no wars, lower taxes, and borders closed to illegal entries. However, an enormous media campaign promoting the pandemic emerged, followed by political-racial violence supported by corporate communism.

Political violence doesn’t happen for free; someone organizes it. Money is needed to mobilize people, hire press coverage, buy food, influence mayors and police departments. That’s when the NGO Black Lives Matter appeared to lead the violence.

Washington, D.C., the city where I live, was attacked and looted. Small business owners, already in severe crisis due to the pandemic, now had to face the danger of racially motivated looting. Signs reading “the owner of this business is Black” hung in windows were not enough.

Mobs attacked the White House and burned churches, gathering without regard for restrictions that were still enforced on churches, restaurants, and other small businesses. Something very strange was happening during that time, where common sense had gone missing.

George Floyd’s Criminal Record.

George Floyd was not just any citizen; rather, he had a long and well-documented criminal history. He had at least eight arrests and convictions related to drug trafficking. Furthermore, on August 7, 2007, in Harris County, Texas, Floyd posed as a water service employee to get two Hispanic women to open their door.

He then pointed a gun at them, entered the home, and called in his accomplices—five Black men—who held the women and their children hostage, beating them to demand money and drugs. After Floyd’s untimely death, political elites in the United States and around the world knelt before his casket, in funeral ceremonies more extravagant than those of a king.

Kilmar Abrego García: A New Political Symbol.

The case of Kilmar Abrego García, an undocumented immigrant recently deported to his country of origin, El Salvador, is gaining unexpected relevance among people with common sense. These individuals are asking why Democratic Senator from Maryland, Chris Van Hollen, traveled to El Salvador on April 17, 2025, to demand that the democratic and sovereign government of that country release its citizen Kilmar Abrego García and send him to the United States.

There is no legal basis for demanding his return. Kilmar Abrego García does not have a visa to enter the United States, and the United States has no jurisdiction over Kilmar, as he is neither a U.S. citizen nor resident.

On April 21, four other Democratic members of Congress traveled to El Salvador to demand a meeting with Abrego García. Van Hollen did meet with Kilmar Abrego García at a restaurant, where they toasted with margaritas. Abrego García appeared to be in perfect health—clean, shaved, and wearing new clothes.

The Instrumentalization of the Hispanic Community.

Kilmar Abrego García, “Maryland’s dad,” as he is being politically dubbed, is the new George Floyd of the Democratic Party. They are shaping public perception to trigger political-racial protests—this time under the slogan of defending the Hispanic or “brown” community.

It is decadent, ignorant, and racist to label the Hispanic civilization with a color—which, in truth, is not even a color—because Hispanic mestizaje includes all colors. It would be far more accurate to call us the Christian community, but that won’t happen, because the enemies of Hispanidad are atheists.

Kilmar Abrego García’s Criminal Profile.

Mr. Kilmar is no saint; his profile is similar to that of George Floyd. On December 1, 2022, police in Tennessee stopped a vehicle driven by Kilmar, carrying eight individuals who listed Kilmar’s residence as their destination. He was driving with an expired license. The passengers had no luggage and had been picked up in Texas, with Maryland as their final destination. Police immediately suspected human trafficking, but let him go with a warning.

During the Biden administration, such serious federal crimes were largely ignored. That is why 300,000 children brought in illegally by traffickers have gone missing. Earlier, in 2019, the Prince George’s County Police in Maryland confirmed that Kilmar is a member of MS-13.

For this reason, he has the gang’s tattoos on his knuckles. Prince George’s County struggles heavily with MS-13, which extorts businesses, traffics drugs, and engages in sex trafficking.

Domestic Violence and Community Rejection.

There is more to the biography of this so-called “Hispanic George Floyd” that should draw the attention of feminist organizations worldwide and prompt them to immediately protest and destroy cities. Kilmar is a wife-beater. He had a habit of slapping his wife, who reported him to the police multiple times and obtained two restraining orders, testifying in court that her husband told her he “could kill her and nothing would happen.”

He is not the virtuous father politicians are trying to force us to believe he is, nor is he an exemplary citizen who represents Hispanic identity. Under no circumstance are we going to accept him; on the contrary, we reject him.

We don’t want any more Floyds or Kilmars—only citizens with moral and ethical integrity. Politicians, stop lying; we Hispanics are well aware of your game. Criminals must be off the streets for the good of our community—there is no debate on this matter.

While Kash Patel has proven to be an incredible upgrade over America’s previous FBI directors, there is still one issue where he needs to come through: the release of the Epstein files. However, his answers today did not provide a timetable, which may dismay MAGA supporters, in addition to his response regarding what happened to Jeffrey Epstein.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed what may be the most damning development yet in the fight to uncover the truth behind Jeffrey Epstein’s sinister global sex-trafficking and blackmail network during an interview with Benny Johnson: the Epstein files may have already been destroyed—and the federal government might be complicit.

Comer, who has spearheaded numerous high-profile investigations into Biden family corruption and the weaponization of federal agencies, made it clear that he believes the Department of Justice no longer has the files, if it ever did. He also thinks the files have already been destroyed to cover up the deep state.

“I don’t think the Department of Justice has (the Epstein files)—or at least the Attorney General does not have them—or she would have turned them over,” Comer told Johnson. “The President ordered them released.”

“The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released,” he added. “One of my biggest fears, which I expressed with Kash Patel and a lot of people, including Stephen Miller, going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now. This was a few weeks before the transition.”

During today’s hearing before the Senate Appropriations Committee this morning regarding the White House budget, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) addressed the elephant in the room and asked a few key questions on the Epstein matter. The first concerned whether Epstein really ‘killed himself,’ which is the official government narrative.

“Did Jeffrey Epstein hang himself or did somebody kill him?” Kennedy asked.

Patel said that he believed it was the former.

“Senator, I believe he hung himself in a cell in the Metropolitan Detention Center,” Patel replied.

Seemingly unconvinced, Kennedy then asked Patel when he would release information backing up this story.

“Are you going to release all of the information about that?” Kennedy inquired.

“Senator, we are working through that with the Department of Justice,” Patel said.

“When do you think you’ll have it done?” Kennedy asked.

Patel responded by speculating.

“I think in the near future, sir,” he said.

A still-skeptical Kennedy then followed up with another blunt inquiry.

“Like, before I die?” he quipped.

Patel’s response was not exactly reassuring.

“Senator, we have been working on that,” he answered. “And we’re doing it in a way that protects victims and also doesn’t put out in the ether information that is, um, irrelevant for the public.”

Kennedy thanked Patel and moved on.

Patel’s response to the Epstein files is similar to Attorney General Pam Bondi’s on Wednesday. Like Patel, she continuously cited concern for the victims of Epstein while providing no timetable for the release of the files.

The FBI, they’re reviewing, tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn, and there are hundreds of victims,” she said while scoffing.

“And no one victim will ever get released,” she added. “It’s just the volume, and that’s what they’re going through right now. The FBI is diligently going through that.”

Bondi added that she would be in touch with Comer.

“I haven’t seen that statement, but I’ll call him later and find out,” she said.

The FBI and US Attorney’s Office in Albany opened an investigation into Letitia James over mortgage fraud.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi directed the investigation to the Northern District of New York in Albany (rather than the SDNY).

The Times Union reported:

The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office in Albany have opened a formal criminal investigation examining the real estate and mortgage transactions of New York Attorney General Letitia James, according to law enforcement sources briefed on the matter.

It’s unclear why U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi steered the referral to New York’s Northern District; although James is a statewide elected official with offices in Albany, the transactions involve her personal property purchases and loans that were processed in New York City and Virginia. Some of the transactions also may fall outside the federal statute of limitations, although one of the mortgages involves James’ assertions in loan documents related to her 2023 purchase of a residence in Virginia.

Last month the Trump Administration criminally referred New York Attorney General Letitia James to the Justice Department over accusations of mortgage fraud.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) accused Letitia James of falsifying records, citing a 5-unit property in New York she claimed was only four units in order to get a more favorable loan.

TGP recently reported on this 5-unit property in Brooklyn that Letitia James purchased in 2001.

For more than 20 years, Letitia James repeatedly claimed her Brooklyn apartment building was a four-unit property on mortgage applications—despite official records proving it had five.

This is not a minor discrepancy. Lying to the bank about the unit count enabled Letitia James to secure more favorable loans, including a 2011 Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan that saved her tens of thousands of dollars annually.

Letitia James was able to secure a conforming loan through Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac since they are only available on properties up to 4 units.

Letitia James lied about her property in Harlem being a 4 family dwelling when she knew it was a 5 family dwelling. This helped her save money on insurance for favorable premiums.

The Certificate of Occupancy clearly states it is a 5-unit family dwelling.

Letitia James lied when she signed legal papers stating her dwelling was a 4-family flat.

Bill Pulte, the Director of the FHFA, also said Letitia James falsely claimed her Virginia property as a ‘primary residence’ even though she doesn’t live there.

“This is a person who prosecuted Trump for everything short of ripping a label off a mattress, and among the charges that were brought in New York, in just the civil but the criminal case, was making false or misleading statements to financial institutions,” Johnathan Turley said on Fox News. “As for James, if we apply the Letitia James standard that she created, there’d be little question here. This seems pretty straightforward.”

The Gateway Pundit also reported that Letitia James may have either married her father or falsified loan documents back in 1983.

According to New York City Department of Finance records, on May 20, 1983, Letitia James and her father, Robert James, took out a real estate loan from Kadilac Funding Ltd. for $30,300 as “husband and wife.” Letitia James’ mother is Nellie James.

FBI Director Kash Patel is replicating his stellar performance from yesterday in Congress, where he delivered a reply for the ages.

As The Hill reported, Patel testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee this morning regarding the White House budget. This comes one day after he delivered his testimony on the budget before the House Committee on Appropriations.

During yesterday’s testimony, Patel was subject to some of the most mean-spirited and dishonest questioning in committee history by Rep. Madeline Dean (D-PA), a Congresswoman and former Trump impeachment manager. But he managed to hold in his temper and completely destroyed her.

Today, his lead tormentor was arguably the dumbest senator in America, Patty Murray (D-WA). And as expected, the fight was a complete mismatch.

During her interrogation, she vilely accused Patel of ‘weaponizing’ the FBI, ignoring what the agency did under Joe Biden to President Trump and Americans who dared to protest an election ridden with fraud. Murray also whined about Patel for putting some of these Gestapo agents on leave.

But Patel remained calm and annihilated her with a series of brilliant replies as she continuously screwed up her facts.

PATEL: You asked me if I was weaponizing the FBI, and I am not. I am giving you the hard, concrete examples of putting handcuffs on bad people doing harm to our children and innocent Americans.

MURRAY: But you have placed on leave FBI employees responsible for the investigation of January 6th. That sounds political to me.

PATEL: I have not placed anyone on leave who has not violated their ethical obligation or their oath to the country.

MURRAY: So, if they were investigating January 6th, do you believe they were violating an ethical obligation?

PATEL: Nope! I think the common theme is you putting words in my mouth, and I’m not going to tolerate it. Nor will the men and women of the FBI.

MURRAY: Well, you did place on leave an analyst responsible for investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. Is that politicization? Is that retribution?

PATEL: No, not if she broke the law or the ethical guidelines. I don’t know what case you’re talking about but that’s the standard. And we WILL hold ourselves inwardly accountable, and we will not be strayed from our mission because people believe we are weaponizing and politicizing the bureau.

If you wanna talk about someone who was attacked by a weaponized bureau, you’re looking at him. And now he’s the Director of the FBI. And he’s cleaning it up.

Ed Martin moves crooked Biden prosecutors to misdemeanor court.

President Trump said he will pull Ed Martin’s nomination for DC US Attorney and announce his replacement in a few days.

Time was running out as the May 20 deadline to confirm Ed Martin approached.

If Ed Martin wasn’t confirmed, Judge Boasberg would have picked the next US Attorney for DC.

This way President Trump will be able to choose the US Attorney.

“I was disappointed,” Trump said of the lack of support for Ed Martin after Senator Tillis opposed his confirmation.

“He’s a terrific person,” Trump said of Ed Martin. “He wasn’t getting the support from people that I thought. He’s done a very good job. Crime is down 25% in DC.”

“We have somebody else that will be great. I just want to say, Ed is unbelievable. Hopefully we can bring him into, whether it’s DOJ or whatever in some capacity,” Trump said.

Trump added, “We have somebody else that we will be announcing in the next two days.”

On Tuesday Senator Tillis, who voted to confirm Biden’s radical pick for Attorney General Merrick Garland, told reporters that he opposes the nomination of Ed Martin for DC US Attorney for political reasons.

“I have no tolerance for anybody who entered the building on January the 6th, and that’s probably where most of the friction was,” Tillis said.

Tillis admitted Ed Martin was doing a great job with his investigation into Biden US Attorney Matthew Graves’ unlawful use of the 1512(c)(2) obstruction charge to lock up January 6 defendants.

However, he will be opposing Ed Martin’s nomination for political reasons.

“If Mr. Martin were being put forth as a US Attorney for any district except the district where January 6 happened, the protest happened, I’d probably support him, but not in this district,” Tillis said in a shocking admission to CNN’s Manu Raju.

Steinmeier speaking in the German Bundestag to mark the 80th VE- Day

The German government continues to attack President Trump ahead of newly-elected Chancellor Merz’s scheduled phone call with Trump today. In his Bundestag speech marking the 80th anniversary of V-E Day, German President Frank Walter Steinmeier accused the United States of “breaking with our values,” of all things, just hours after the German Secret police had to backtrack on spying on the opposition.

“Eighty years on from the end of the war, the long twentieth century has definitively come to an end,” Steinmeier said, with his usual moralizing, finger-wagging holier-than-thou arrogance:

“The lessons learned from two dictatorships and two world wars are now fading. The liberators of Auschwitz have become new aggressors. By unleashing war against Ukraine, Putin has shattered our European security order – which we had hoped was a lesson learned once and for all from the horrors of war. The international community had drawn its conclusions from the war of extermination and genocide, had introduced rules to curb nationalistic ambitions and foster cooperation, and created an international order on the basis of international law. All of this was never perfect, never uncontroversial, but the fact that now even the United States, who did so much to shape this order, is turning its back on it is a shock on an entirely new scale. It is no less than a double epochal shift – Russia’s war of aggression, the US’ break with its values – that marks the end of the long twentieth century.”

“We are seeing with horror that even the world’s oldest democracy can rapidly be endangered when the judiciary is disdained, the separation of powers is overridden and academic freedom is attacked,” Steinmeier attacked the USA. “We are looking at our country, where extremist forces are gaining strength. They deride the institutions of democracy and those who represent them. They poison our debates. They play on people’s concerns. They profit from fear-mongering. They turn people against each other. They bring old evils back to life.”

Just like Sleepy Joe, Steinmeier is infamous for attacking the patriotic AfD for wanting to save Germany while accusing them of “fear-mongering” and “sowing division”.

“We know where isolationism leads, where aggressive nationalism and contempt for democratic institutions can end,” Steinmeier lectured today. “When others lapse into nationalism and seek to assert their interests through brute force, we have all the more reason to join together with our partners to seek solutions – because it is right. When others cast doubt on the United Nations and violate international law, we must uphold these institutions – because it is right.”

As Foreign Minister, Social Democrat Steinmeier called President Donald J. Trump a “hate preacher” in 2016 and refused to congratulate him on his election.

At the 2014 Maidan coup, Steinmeier was pivotal in urging elected Ukrainian Presdient Viktor Yanukovitch to flee the country, triggering 11 years of war in the Donbass.

In Germany, the Chancellor runs the government while the President is a largely ceremonial post akin to the Vice-President, who is supposed to be politically neutral and above the fray.

Former 1960’s commie radical Steinmeier has frequently been criticized for using his post to campaign against the opposition AfD party.
