RFK Jr. is fantastic. A breath of fresh air. He is the boldest and most important HHS Secretary in history, and perhaps the most important Cabinet Secretary of our lifetimes.

I’m proud to report that I urged President Trump way back in June of 2023, and again in August of 2024 (right here at The Gateway Pundit), to give RFK Jr. the role of HHS Secretary or “Health Czar.” See:

RFK Jr. has worked out exactly as I’d hoped. I did not know his views on most political issues or policies. But I knew one thing- I absolutely agreed 100% with Bobby Kennedy’s views on health freedom, the Covid vaccine, the autism epidemic, a healthy distrust of Big Pharma, and a hatred for Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Because of all of that, I argued he’d be the perfect choice to “Make America Healthy Again.”

Boy was that opinion a bullseye!

In just a 48-hour period last week, RFK Jr. admitted that chemtrails are real; we are being poisoned from the skies; he named the agency behind this geoengineering nightmare (DARPA); he accused Biden’s HHS of being complicit in child sex trafficking; and pointed out the so-called “measles epidemic” is a media exaggeration that pales in comparison to the autism epidemic. Bravo.

That’s certainly the best 48 hours by any Cabinet Secretary in my lifetime!

Yet we’re all still waiting for the biggest and most important truth bomb ever- when will RFK Jr. announce the Covid vaccine was a combination of pure fraud, get-rich-quick scam, the worst healthcare disaster in history, the biggest coverup in history, mass murder and crimes against humanity.

We’re waiting Bobby.

And he should also throw in a statement urging a modern-day “Nuremberg Trials” for everyone responsible for killing and injuring millions with this deadly poisonous experimental vaccine- starting with Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Back in the 1970’s, the swine flu vaccine program was cancelled after over 50 million Americans were given the shot. Why? Because 30 Americans died after getting the shot. THIRTY.

The famous rule for doctors applied: “Physician first, do no harm.”

Of course, it’s unacceptable for any “cure” to result in the death of perfectly healthy patients. Yet the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) has clearly reported since early 2021 the Covid jab is the most deadly vaccine ever. Keep in mind, we don’t have 30 dead from the Covid vaccine…

VAERS reports about 20,000 suspected dead from the Covid vaccine.

But that’s misleading. Harvard studied VAERS a decade ago and reported only 1% of vaccine deaths are ever reported by medical professionals. So, multiply 20,000 deaths by 100. That would estimate as many as two million Americans killed by the Covid vaccine.

Dr Peter McCullough, one of America’s most brilliant cardiologists and vaccine experts, says at a minimum the Covid vaccine has killed 500,000 Americans.

That’s as many deaths as the Civil War. 

Just think about this…What if any company in America sold a defective and deadly product- a car manufacturer, food company, or vitamin maker. And despite trials showing thousands of deaths and injuries; and then upon product launch, hundreds of thousands of deaths and injuries; yet America experienced a total blackout by mainstream media, making billions of dollars off the advertising buys by Big Pharma. Just picture that.

What would happen to the CEO and all the executives involved?

How quickly would that car, or vitamin, or food product be pulled off store shelves?

How quickly would that CEO and all executives involved be indicted for fraud and mass murder?

Every liberal in America would scream for the death penalty.

One of the most despicable members of Congress absolutely face-planted in an embarrassing fashion while trying to interrogate Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during a hearing.

Bessent was invited to testify today before the House Financial Services Committee regarding the state of the international finance system. The hearing comes as Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer are set to meet with a high-level Chinese delegation this weekend in Geneva, Switzerland, in the first major talks between the two countries since President Trump rightfully imposed stiff tariffs on Chinese imports.

But Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) had no interest in such a critical event. Instead, Mad Maxine sought to embarrass Bessent over the work DOGE is doing to save Americans billions of taxpayer dollars.

Waters’s ire was focused on Bessent allowing DOGE workers, who are characterized as government employees, to access the Treasury Department’s payment system and data. As The Gateway Pundit has reported, multiple judges had tried to block DOGE workers from accessing the Treasury systems before another judge in March gave them the green light.

“Do you know the level type or nature of the clearances and the security training required for individuals to access the information held in Treasury, IRS, or CFPB?” Waters asked.

After Bessent replied that he did, Waters demanded to know whether all individuals given access to Treasury’s and CFPB’s computer bases received the proper clearances and security training before being granted access.

Bessent corrected Waters by pointing out a key detail she omitted: the individuals were given read-only access, meaning they could not tamper with any of the documents.

A triggered Waters then interrupted Bessent and attempted to scold him.

“Please, you can’t filibuster here; this is not the filibuster playground,” she snapped. “You let these strangers into our Treasury with access to all of the data, all of the personnel information…You just opened the door!” Why did you do that?”

While going on her rampage, Waters made a damning mistake: the people going into the Treasury were not strangers at all; they were employees. Bessent was more than happy to remind her of this fact.

“No ma’am. They were Treasury employees,” he replied while smiling.

How humiliating for Waters.

Waters could not believe what she heard and tried again to trip up Bessent by asking about 25-year-old Marko Elez, a software engineer who worked for Elon Musk’s DOGE before resigning over allegedly racist social media posts. He was later put back on the U.S. payroll.

“Are you saying today, in front of this committee, that all of them were Treasury employees…That the 25-year-old who’s being identified (and) worked for Elon Musk was allowed into the Treasury. Was that person there?” she demanded.

“He was an employee as was Tom Krause, the senior person on the DOGE team. There were only two people.” he replied before Waters rudely interrupted him.

“There were DOGE employees also!” she bellowed. “Were you aware that there were DOGE employees coming into our Treasury getting all of our personal information?”

Bessent closed the back-and-forth by pointing out error Waters made the same silly error as she did seconds ago.

“Ma’am, there is no such thing as a DOGE employee,” he said. “They were Treasury employees.”

Waters also forgot when she first met Bessent.

“This is the first time, we have met. Is that correct?” she asked.

“No ma’am, we actually we met one New Year’s Eve in the Bahamas,” he replied.

“Why don’t I remember that?” Waters wondered.

“You weren’t much better at the electric slide than I was,” Bessent quipped.

Maxine Waters is so cooked she doesn’t even remember she met the Treasury Secretary.

Democrats have become such humorless scolds that they not only cannot take a joke, let alone recognize one, even when it is staring right at them. One Democrat congressman made an idiot of himself today during an important House hearing.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent was invited to testify today before the House Financial Services Committee regarding the state of the international finance system. Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) decided to use his time to try to ‘educate’ Bessent with a so-called history lesson about trade deficits in America, claiming they were not a national emergency. He apparently thinks America’s manufacturing base getting ripped to shreds by unfair trade deals for decades is no big deal.

“For four decades, we have had trade deficits in America, and no one said it was an emergency,” Meeks ranted. “Democratic and Republican presidents…You know what it says to me? It hasn’t been an emergency for four decades!”

“It says to me we should bring US tariffs back to the United States Congress so we can make that determination, as the Constitution has said,” he continued. “And not try to go around Congress. It’s just unbelievable to me!”

Meeks then asked Bessent two questions to enhance his argument and embarrass the Trump Administration.

“Who has been the President since January 2025?” he asked.

After Bessent calmly answered, Meeks then sprung his trap.

“Who was the president in 2024?” he inquired.

But Bessent foiled his plan with a clever joke about Biden.

“One believes President Biden,” he responded with a smile.

Of course, Bessent knows Biden was ‘president’ in 2024. He was saying this to trigger Meeks and to help remind people that Biden was so mentally lost that he may not have been aware that he was in the Oval Office at times.

Upon hearing Bessent’s reply, Meeks freaked out.

“One believes?!” he exclaimed, clearly not getting the joke. “You one of these nonbelievers in that election that the American people didn’t vote (to ‘elect’ Biden).”

“I’am not,” Bessent said while continuing to smile.

“You’re not? You said one believes!” Meeks shouted. “Do you believe in the Constitution of the United States?”

“I believe in the Constitution of the United States,” Bessent replied.

“So you believe in it without ANY SECOND THOUGHT?!” Meeks yelled. “You don’t have to think about it. You believe in it?”

“And you will abide by it. Is that correct?”

“I have and I do, sir,” Bessent answered.

Far-left, Trump-hating CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell and her husband had a terrible day on Tuesday as President Trump continues to lay down the law on illegal immigration.

As FOX 5 DC reported, ICE agents stormed into Chef Geoff’s Restaurant yesterday morning, a D.C. establishment owned by O’Donnell’s husband, Geoff Tracy, and demanded to see the staff’s I-9 forms. The incident occurred at roughly 10:30 A.M.

This caused the entire staff to panic. The agents stayed at the restaurant for 90 minutes and left without arresting anyone.

Chef Geoff’s was not the only eatery targeted. The New York Post revealed that ICE agents also raided at least eight other establishments in the nation’s capital. These included Officina and Mi Vida, Jaleo, Santa Rosa Taqueria, Pupatella, Call Your Mother, Clyde’s, and Millie’s.

NBC 4 News reported that some of the restaurants were given advance notice of the raids. It’s not clear if Chef Geoff’s was among them.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser was livid after learning about the Trump administration carrying out their duties:

“I have heard those reports. I’ve been getting them all morning. I am disturbed by them. It appears as though ICE is at restaurants, or even at neighborhoods, and it doesn’t look like they’re targeting criminals, and it does look like they’re disrupting,” Bowser said.

D.C. residents echoed their far-left mayor’s whining when contacted by FOX 5 DC.

“It’s very high anxiety, anxiety-inducing. I think it’s really terrible right now that ICE is taking people and sending them away to El Salvador and these other countries to what are basically concentration camps,” one D.C. resident, Isa, whimpered.

“Unfortunately, fear is the goal as these happen whether in D.C. or across the country. But what we’re also seeing is a lot of solidarity within the D.C. community,” whined Claudia Tristan, a volunteer with Migrant Solidarity Mutual.

“There was no one detained or arrested that I’ve heard of, but regardless of that fact, disrupting food service during lunch hours while restaurants are open is alarming, and we are concerned about the fear-mongering tactics we believe happened today,” said Shawn Townsend, President of the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington.

“There is a sense of fear. It’s alarming, it’s concerning, immigrants make up a large amount of workers in our restaurants in the district. I think there could have been a better way to get the information that these ICE agents, from what I’m told, were looking for,” he added.

Republican Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia passed out while speaking at a press conference held by Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday.

Garcia was speaking about environmental legislation when she suddenly turned to DeSantis to let him know she was not feeling well.

“Governor, forgive me,” Garcia said. “I’ve gotta sit down because I am not feeling well.”

Seconds later, Garcia slumped over and was caught by Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo.

“We got you,” Ladapo repeatedly told her as he prevented her from falling.

The crowd cheered, and she joked about the situation.

“Are you kidding? This was my moment,” Garcia said to laughter. “Nerve-racking, but this was my moment, and I so appreciate your grace, Governor DeSantis.”

The cause of the collapse remains unclear.

BBC host Nick Robinson asked Joe Biden point-blank if he “regrets” not dropping out of the presidential race sooner to give someone else a “better chance” to defeat Trump.

The interview was Biden’s first since leaving the White House in January.

Robinson began, “I can hear your passion. I can here your anxiety that the world is changing the way it has. And for a long time you believed–. You said, ‘I’m the man who can stop Donald Trump.’”

“And you did once,” Robinson continued. “And in the end you withdrew from that election campaign at the last minute. It’s a question you know lots of people ask you, Mr. President.”

“Did you leave it too late? Should you have withdrawn earlier, given someone else a bigger chance?” the host asked.

Many Democrats have long blamed Kamala Harris’ stunning defeat on Biden’s late withdrawal. He did not end up exiting the race until July 2024.

Biden replied, “I don’t think it would have mattered. We left at a time when we had a good candidate, she was fully funded, and what happened was I had become–.”

“What we had set out to do, no one thought we could do. And I’d become so successful on our agenda, it was hard to say, ‘Now I’m gonna stop now.’”

Biden continued, “I meant what I said when I started, that I think I’m prepared to hand this to the next generation, the transition government. But things move so quickly that it made it difficult to walk away, to get, and it was a hard decision. But–”

“Regrets, though?” Robinson interjected.

“No, I think it was the right decision. I think that the— well, It was just a difficult decision,” Biden said.

Members of the military are fighting to receive religious accommodation for the flu vaccine to remain in the military, but no one is listening.

In March, The Gateway Pundit spoke to Major Brennan Schilperoort, an Air Force officer of 17 years who took religious objection to the 2021 COVID-19 shot mandate, and more recently due to a change in religious beliefs, the flu vaccine. At the time of this interview, the C-130J transport aircraft pilot was facing administrative separation and a no-pay status for his refusal of the flu vaccine.

On March 24, the Air Force made the disturbing move to ignore his due-process rights, denying Maj. Schilperoort of his pay. Speaking to TGP for a second time in the weeks to follow, he sadly admitted, “It’s been a hard several weeks.” As he faces separation from the Air Force, awaiting final decision with no income, the ordeal has created “an incredible strain” on his family. Despite the future’s uncertainty, he maintains his religious convictions and faith to both God and his family.

With time to reflect, it has become important for him to point out: “This is happening under President Donald Trump’s administration.” While noting the president’s obvious support of the military and its veterans, he feels abandoned. “There have been violations of my constitutionally established religious rights and violations to the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act (RFRA), and it goes all the way down to the Department of Defense’s (DoD) own regulations.”

Will President Trump or Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth hear his plea? “The rights of service members are being violated under your watch,” he lamented. “Many of us are people of good conscience who have proven ourselves to be willing to stand up against tyranny—and you’re about to lose us.”

Finding himself in a similar predicament, The Gateway Pundit also spoke to First Lieutenant. Schuyler Skipper, who has served the Marine Corps for over 12 years. Without a temporary restraining order instructing the Marine Corps to cease his separation process in 2022, and a judge’s subsequent order for a preliminary injunction against the COVID-19 shot, the Marine Corps officer would have found himself separated from the service a few short years ago.

Sadly, like Maj. Schilperoort, 1stLt Skipper’s objection to vaccines is far from over. In December 2022, he requested a religious accommodation for all vaccines. After educating himself about the contents of vaccines, and holding steadfast to his religious faith, he concluded he could “no longer submit to vaccinations containing ingredients that are known neurotoxins, carcinogens, fetal aborted cell lines, and animal DNA fragments.” What’s more, he considers his body “a Temple of God” and asserts that one’s health should be “[stewarded] as a gift from God.” Grounded in faith, he said, “the immune system God has given me is more than sufficient to protect me from illness.

1stLt Skipper’s request for accommodation for the flu shot was denied in February 2024 despite his sincerely held religious beliefs. And on April 7, 2024, he was served with a Report of Misconduct, to include a recommendation with the intent to separate. He cites “a resistance to following the Constitution,” particularly the First Amendment and Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). The lack of individual assessments and blanket language in denials continues to persist. The DoD is “still running the same playbook” of generalized denials, attributing their decisions to the interest of health and readiness of the force, he explained.

For 1stLt Skipper, citing a risk to the force is unsubstantiated and nothing short of religious discrimination by what he has witnessed personally. Interestingly, despite having an adverse reaction to the flu shot in November 2021, medical officers have also not entertained a medical exemption for him. And for being unable to receive neither religious accommodation nor medical exemption for the flu shot, 1stLt Skipper is considered both a risk to the force and a nondeployable Marine.

Yet, there are over 50 others in units falling under his unit’s higher headquarters organizational structure, the 1st Marine Logistics Group, who have been granted medical exemptions from the vaccine. “[Their] careers remain unaffected even though we are in a similar position,” he pointed out.

On the one hand, it is apparent that the individual assessment standard required by RFRA is not occurring. And on the other, 1stLt Skipper said, “My personal health, to my knowledge, was never considered, just assumptions that high stress and demands make me more susceptible to disease.”

“I do not believe my personal health outcomes within my record were ever reviewed,” he admitted. “Within my final denial, the adjudicating authority mentioned ‘increasingly convincing data that service members who remain unvaccinated are more likely to experience a wide range of new, returning or ongoing health problems as opposed to those who are fully vaccinated’ as a reason to deny my request.”

On March 4, 2024, through a Privacy Act Request, 1stLt Skipper requested data to substantiate the statement he received. To date, no one has validated the claim.

A year later, 1stLt Skipper has been recommended for separation from the Marine Corps.

Attorney R. Davis Younts represents both Maj. Schilperoort and 1stLt Skipper. The retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and former judge advocate general (JAG) said, “The cases of both of these clients reflect a systemic problem that has not been fixed.” He asserted, “The DoD is failing to follow the religious accommodation process outlined in military regulations and required by the Constitution and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.”

“Although President Trump and Secretary Hegseth are committed to reform,” Younts shared, “there are far too many within who are still seeking to retaliate against anyone who challenged the unlawful COVID mandate and seeking to purge Christians and those who stand for truth from the military.”

White House Faith Director Jennifer Korn discussed the White House’s actions to protect religious liberties in an interview with The Gateway Pundit last week, following a National Day of Prayer event at the White House on Thursday. 

President Trump delivered remarks for nearly an hour in the Rose Garden last Thursday to commemorate National Day of Prayer.

After the event, the President signed a ‘Establishment of the Religious Liberty Commission’ executive order to “enforce the historic and robust protections for religious liberty enshrined in Federal law.”

This order creates a 14-member commission to “advise the White House Faith Office and the Domestic Policy Council on religious liberty policies of the United States.” Jennifer Korn noted that this order, in combination with previous orders establishing a White House Faith Office and task forces to combat religious biases, will ensure that “we never have the government infringing upon our rights.”

In contrast, it can be recalled that Joe Biden previously declared that white Christians were a national security threat, and his DOJ weaponized justice against pro-lifers for praying outside abortion clinics. The Christian-hating former president also issued an official proclamation last year, declaring the country would celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday.

Korn slammed Biden for offending “every Christian, not only in America, but around the world” and highlighted President Trump’s huge celebration of Holy Week, including a message on Palm Sunday where the President vowed to “defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government.”

As President Trump declared at the Easter Egg Roll event on April 21, “we’re bringing religion back in America.”

Conradson: Tell us about this event that President Trump just held, the remarks he delivered. How important is that to have a president that stands up for faith?

Korn: National Day of Prayer is so important, and we’re so grateful that President Trump would invite hundreds of people from all different faiths to join in the Rose Garden, to pray, to worship, and also to give remarks about his faith, about how we need to all come together. And truly, if people and leaders can come and pray together, then we can do everything else together. And that means faith diplomacy is so important. And so, it was just an honor to have the president. He was just supposed to give some remarks, and then we were gonna have two songs and what have you. But he went really long because he talked about faith from his heart. And he also stood up there and invited faith leaders. He’s like “all the faith leaders who have been with me“ he goes, “come on stage.” So he must have had 50 people on stage with him to pray one after another, and the President stood there with us. And it was just, it was just a powerful moment.

Conradson: That’s really incredible, especially after the last administration who targeted innocent Christians and Catholics, pro-lifers, who also, you know, on Good Friday, he declared that Easter Sunday would be transgender day of visibility, and that America would recognize that holiday while we recognize Easter Sunday.

Korn: There’s a huge— there’s a stark difference between the Biden administration and the Trump administration, as you said. On Easter Sunday, he declared a trans visibility Day, which we know the President has a prerogative to release proclamations earlier or later. He didn’t have to do it on Easter Sunday and basically offend every Christian, not only in America, but around the world. And so what we did is the President released a proclamation on Palm Sunday to announce all of Holy Week. He did a presidential video. We did an Easter dinner on that Wednesday where we had faith leaders in the White House, but what we did is have a live stream. We prayed, and we worshiped, and we invited America to pray and worship with the President. So, we were able to bring in people to the White House, and then we had a White House worship service for all of the staff with Reverend Franklin Graham, Pastor Greg Laurie, Pastor Jensen Franklin, of course, our Senior Advisor, Pastor Paula White. And I have to tell you, on that event, we weren’t sure how many people were going to show up, but it was standing room only, and staff was out either side of the doors, and it was just a magical moment. So, you know, there is a welcome mat for people of faith here at the White House, and when I say that, I mean all faiths, and we’re here to give a voice to those in faith in their own government, because people of faith are citizens, are American citizens, just like everybody else, and they should have a voice too.

Conradson: It’s really a stark contrast between this administration and the last administration. Tell us a little bit more about the executive order that was signed today establishing a religious liberty commission, and why that’s so important at this time.

Korn: So, the first thing the President did was he, through executive order, created a historic White House Faith Office that’s in the west wing, has direct access to the president, works directly with domestic policy council to make sure that the policy is written and reflects people of faith. But part of that, we also created the different task forces to combat anti semitism, to eradicate anti Christian bias and all other religious biases that are in the government. And then today, sort of cherry on top, we created a commission; the president created a commission on religious liberty, and that means that they’re going to define what religion is, define what freedom is, and make sure that in this country, we never have the government infringing upon our rights.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is speaking out about a stunning allegation from House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) yesterday regarding the Epstein files.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Comer revealed what may be the most damning development yet in the fight to uncover the truth behind Jeffrey Epstein’s sinister global sex-trafficking and blackmail network during an interview with Benny Johnson: the Epstein files may have already been destroyed—and the federal government might be complicit.

Comer, who has spearheaded numerous high-profile investigations into Biden family corruption and the weaponization of federal agencies, made it clear that he believes the Department of Justice no longer has the files, if it ever did. He also thinks the files have already been destroyed to cover up the deep state.

“I don’t think the Department of Justice has (the Epstein files)—or at least the Attorney General does not have them—or she would have turned them over,” Comer told Johnson. “The President ordered them released.”

“The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released,” he added. “One of my biggest fears, which I expressed with Kash Patel and a lot of people, including Stephen Miller, going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now. This was a few weeks before the transition.”

Bondi responded to Comer’s bombshell this morning outside the White House after a reporter asked about it.

“The FBI, they’re reviewing, tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn, and there are hundreds of victims,” she said while scoffing.

“And no one victim will ever get released,” she added. “It’s just the volume, and that’s what they’re going through right now. The FBI is diligently going through that.”

Bondi then said she would be in touch with Comer.

“I haven’t seen that statement, but I’ll call him later and find out,” she said.

Sneak into America and visit Rwanda — that’s the package deal being considered by the Trump administration as it looks for places to put criminal illegal immigrants it wants to deport.

Rwandan Foreign Affairs Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe said the East African nation is in the “early stage” of discussions with the Trump administration over taking deported illegal immigrants who Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called “some of the most despicable human beings,” according to the BBC.

Nduhungirehe said Rwanda might go forward in the “spirit” of giving “another chance to migrants who have problems across the world.”

Nduhungirehe noted that talks to take deportees were “not new to us,” referring to a proposal from Great Britain to send deportees there. The agreement was proposed in 2022 but foundered last year when Britain changed governments.

A report in the U.K. Telegraph said Rwandan officials are considering using housing built by Britain as a place to house illegal immigrants deported from the United States.

“Those are details that will be discussed at an appropriate time,” a top Rwandan government official said.

A report in The Washington Post indicated Rwanda appears open to the possibility of a deal. The Post reported that a U.S. communication that “included a list of names of potential deportees to Rwanda, was received warmly.”

Rubio said in a Cabinet meeting last week that the administration is seeking places to send criminal illegal immigrants, according to Fox News.

“We have gone to countries all over the world and said, ‘Hey, you want good relations with the United States, you need to take back your people that are here illegally.’ And we’ve had historic cooperation. Beyond that, and I say this unapologetically, we are actively searching for other countries to take people from third countries,” he said.

“So we are actively – not just El Salvador – we are working with other countries to say, ‘We want to send you some of the most despicable human beings to your countries, will you do that as a favor to us?’ And the further away from America the better, so they can’t come back across the border,” Rubio said.

Rwanda’s human rights record has received criticism from the State Department, which noted in a recent review that “Significant human rights issues included credible reports of arbitrary or unlawful killings, including extrajudicial killings; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions; arbitrary arrest or detention; political prisoners or detainees.”

In its 2024 assessment, Amnesty International noted, “There was evidence of torture and other ill-treatment in detention, with a rare prosecution offering limited accountability.”

Rwanda’s past includes accusations from 2021 that it allowed   “extrajudicial killings, deaths in custody, enforced disappearances and torture,” according to the BBC.

In a lawsuit to block the 2022 British plan to send illegal immigrants to Rwanda, attorney Raza Husain said the plan was “unlawful under the Human Rights Act and the common law.”

“Asylum seekers removed to Rwanda face a significant risk of violation of their rights to be free from torture and inhuman treatment,” the court was told, according to the Guardian.
