Jennifer Lopez Sparks Outrage After Kissing Dancers at AMAs 2025

On the night of Sunday, May 26, 2025, Jennifer Lopez once again found herself at the center of controversy after delivering a performance that has sharply divided public opinion at the American Music Awards (AMAs). During the opening act, the singer and actress passionately kissed two of her backup dancers — one male and one female — onstage, igniting social media and triggering a strong wave of reactions from both supporters and critics.

Dressed in a tight-fitting, sparkling bodysuit with revealing sheer panels, Lopez appeared on stage flanked by dozens of dancers in a highly erotic choreography. She performed a medley of her latest songs, many of which featured suggestive titles and explicit lyrics. The most controversial moment came at the end of her performance, when the 55-year-old artist kissed one of her male dancers and, seconds later, a female dancer — both kisses clearly provocative and with unmistakable intent.

While some in the entertainment world labeled the act “artistic” or “female empowerment,” many American citizens and parents saw it as yet another attempt to normalize inappropriate content in spaces that were once considered family-friendly. The performance aired during prime time without any prior warning, reigniting the debate about the limits of artistic freedom and the responsibility artists and networks have toward young audiences.

At a time when the country is striving to restore its values, strengthen families, and reclaim cultural sanity, performances like Lopez’s are bewildering. How far can one go under the banner of “art” before it becomes little more than a media stunt? Is this the image the United States wants to project to the world?

Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the nation has returned to its foundational principles: hard work, family, respect, and patriotism. In contrast, figures like Lopez seem to represent the opposite — a culture built on narcissism, public hyper-sexualization, and the constant dismantling of social norms that have provided structure and unity for generations.

This is not the first time Lopez has used the stage to deliver provocative messages. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a sultry image, frequently pushing the boundaries of decency. But this time, at an event like the AMAs — where teenagers and young people make up a significant portion of the audience — the impact was far more concerning.

The performance was met with applause from the live audience, composed mostly of Hollywood celebrities and music industry insiders. However, conservative Americans quickly voiced their outrage on social media, where words like “vulgar,” “unnecessary,” and “distasteful” dominated thousands of posts.

While progressive media outlets praised the moment as an “act of inclusion and diversity,” many sectors of society watched with alarm as artistic platforms increasingly become vehicles for promoting ideologies aimed at eroding the foundations of the traditional family.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish, who presented the first award of the night, attempted to defuse the tension with a joke about the moment, but the humor did little to ease the growing debate. On social media, hundreds of parents expressed disappointment, stating this was not what they expected to see at an event that once celebrated music for all ages.

The performance also revives a familiar discussion: the constant use of sexuality to remain relevant in the entertainment industry. While young talents struggle to gain recognition for their voices, artistry, and songwriting, others seem to rely on scandal as their main strategy for staying in the spotlight.

At a time when EE.UU. faces significant cultural and social challenges, artists should be mindful of their influence and the historical moment they are part of. Politically charged or deliberately provocative acts have become less shocking and more routine — almost as if controversy were now the default marketing tactic in show business.

President Trump’s administration has clearly emphasized restoring a culture rooted in respect, merit, and common sense. In contrast to this, performances that repeatedly test traditional values put the cultural integrity of the nation at risk.

Jennifer Lopez, with decades of experience under her belt, doesn’t need such stunts to prove her talent. Her voice, discipline, and career achievements are enough. However, by continuing to embrace a scandal-centered narrative, she jeopardizes not only her legacy but also contributes to a culture where provocation becomes the norm and art loses its depth.

The controversy will no doubt dominate headlines in the coming days. But the message is clear: EE.UU. is increasingly divided between those who celebrate this kind of spectacle and those who fight to preserve the cultural identity and moral clarity of a nation with much still worth defending.

Dems Want To Spend $20 Million On Study To Reveal Obvious: Trump Cooked Them | Drew Hernandez

Following their 2024 election loss, Democrats are investing tens of millions of dollars to attempt to recapture young male voters, a demographic that shifted significantly toward Donald Trump. Liberal strategists are pitching mega donors to fund projects aiming to raise millions to build an army of left-leaning influencers and create a “liberal Joe Rogan” to counter Trump’s online cultural dominance.

One initiative, codenamed SAM (Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan), allocates $20 million to study the language and content that resonates with young men. Which obviously would reveal pro Trump America First messaging, everything Democrats hate. Clearly, this approach is flawed, as authenticity, like that of Joe Rogan, cannot be manufactured through funding, and the party’s disconnect stems from deeper issues like dismissing masculine interests and attacking male voters.

DOJ Sues North Carolina State Board of Elections Over Massive Voter Registration Failures — 200,000+ Voters Potentially Registered Illegally

The United States Department of Justice has officially taken legal action against the North Carolina State Board of Elections for failing to follow federal election law, exposing what could be one of the largest voter registration scandals in recent history.

According to the complaint, over 200,000 individuals may be listed in North Carolina’s voter rolls without proper identification or legal registration, violating the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) — a federal law designed to ensure clean, accurate, and secure voter rolls in all 50 states.

This legal firestorm comes on the heels of President Trump’s March executive order aimed at preserving the integrity of America’s elections.

That order, Executive Order 14248, directed federal agencies to investigate and enforce laws guarding against illegal voting, fraud, and administrative failure.

The DOJ’s 19-page complaint names the entire North Carolina State Board of Elections — including board members Francis X. De Luca, Jeff Carmon, Stacy Eggers IV, Siobhan O’Duffy Millen, and Robert Rucho — as well as Executive Director Sam Hayes, for refusing to enforce basic ID verification for voters.

The lawsuit alleges the state knowingly used a voter registration form that made critical ID fields optional — a direct violation of federal law. Voters were allowed to register without a valid driver’s license, without the last four digits of a Social Security number, and without any unique identifier — all mandatory under HAVA.

Even worse, internal admissions from board officials during a November 2023 hearing reveal they knew about the problem and chose not to fix it, opting instead to “revamp the form later.” In other words — they let potentially ineligible voters flood the rolls before the 2024 election.

“Accurate voter registration rolls are critical to ensure that elections in North Carolina are conducted fairly, accurately, and without fraud,” said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.

“The Department of Justice will not hesitate to file suit against jurisdictions that maintain inaccurate voter registration rolls in violation of federal voting laws.”

Elon Musk ‘Disappointed’ With Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ — Says It ‘Undermines Work of DOGE’ (VIDEO)

Elon Musk / CBS

Elon Musk has said he is “disappointed’ with President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.”

In a preview of an interview with CBS that will air this Sunday, Musk pointed out the bill increases the national debt and undermines the work done by his Department of Government Efficiency, which is working to decrease the national debt.

Here is a transcript of the exchange:

MUSK: So, you know, I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.

POGUE: I actually thought that when this big beautiful bill came along, I mean, like, everything he’s done on DOGE gets wiped out in the first year.”

MUSK:I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both. My personal opinion.

Watch the clip below:

The bill, which is expected to cost $1.4 trillion, will extend 2017 tax cuts, eliminate federal taxes on tips, overtime pay, and interest from loans on U.S.-made cars.

Among its other provisions include $1,000 tax-free “MAGA Savings Account” for every newborn, raising the child tax credit to $2,500 until 2028 and the addition of work requirements Medicaid starting in 2026.

The House recently passed the bill by a narrow vote of 215–214.

NEW: House Passes Trump’s “Big, Beautiful” Bill by ONE Vote Despite Two GOP Defections and One Falling Asleep During Vote

However, it is not expected to pass the Senate without several revisions.

Senator Rick Scott of Florida, who is typically loyal to Trump and the MAGA agenda, has already said he would vote no as the bill stands.

“Oh absolutely I’d vote no,” he said in an interview with Charlie Kirk. “If they brought it to the floor right now there’s not a chance it would get to 51 votes.”

“ We all know we have to balance the budget. We all know it’s getting harder to sell our treasuries.”

BREAKING: Just moments ago, Sen. Rick Scott said he’s a NO on the One Big Beautiful Bill in its current form. He’s demanding more spending cuts and setting America on the path to a balanced budget.

(VIDEO) Mike Lindell Says He’s Considering Challenging Tim Walz for Governor of Minnesota – Confirms to TGP He Expects Poll Results in Early June After Dominion Trial “That’s Going to Change Everything”

Mike Lindell has announced that he is considering running for governor against incumbent and likely Democratic nominee Tim Walz in 2026.

Walz, who is currently serving his second term since taking office in 2019, is eligible for a third term. The failed Vice Presidential candidate is reportedly considering a reelection campaign after ruling out a bid for the Senate.

Lindell recently announced on Lindell TV that he is “considering it” and “going to do due diligence,” including running polls before he officially announces anything.

WATCH:

Lindell: I’m going to tell you right now, I am considering running for Governor of the State of Minnesota because right now we have a voice that could be big enough where— when I do my due diligence, and we’re going to do polling, we’re going to get a couple different polls to be taken. We’re going to be doing— you do all kinds of due diligence. I’m just, checking into all this now, but they’re saying, “Well, why would you consider it now, and you didn’t consider it then?” Because we got our voice back, and all the lies that, Waltz is putting out can be— we will see through them.

It won’t just be me saying it, or we’re saying it on Lindell TV, the whole world will be screaming it. These lies will be uncovered, you know? And what are they going to do, you know? “Well, Mike Lindell, you know, he was a crack addict.” Yeah? What else you got? So there you have it, Rick, I kind of surprised you with that. I am considering it, and I’m going to do due diligence over these, as we roll out this– I’m going to make some bigger announcements tomorrow and hopefully we will find out that the polling and all this stuff will show; I think it’s going to show. I live here in Minnesota. Everywhere I go, nobody wants Tim Walz. They don’t. I mean, it’s like even if you like, even if you’re a Democrat, and you think he’s a good Democrat governor, they don’t even like him for what he did, these nonsensical things he did. So, let’s say you are a Democrat and you really believe that the Democrat Party’s still the same, you would not want Walz. You would want anything but him. You know, that’s what I’m hearing all over the state of Minnesota.

Mike confirmed to The Gateway Pundit on Sunday that he is seriously exploring a campaign, and his team is currently conducting polls in Minnesota, which he expects to be completed in early June.

“Everybody can’t stand Walz. Even the people on the left don’t like them. I mean, it’s terrible in Minnesota,” he said. “He’s horrible.”

Meanwhile, Mike is in Colorado for what he calls “one of the most important trials in our country’s history.” Lindell is being sued by former Dominion Voting Systems executive Eric Coomer in the U.S. District Court for Colorado for alleged defamation. However, Mike contends that the trial will prove him right. It’s “the trial that’s going to change everything,” he says. “I believe it will be the gateway to finally getting rid of the machines.”

Mike is set to hold a press conference on June 2, the day his trial begins, at the federal courthouse in Colorado.

“My focus is to get rid of the electronic voting machines, and I really believe that’s going to come to fruition. So now, I will run,” he added, noting that he was considering a run for governor in 2022. “Then, when they stole the [2020] election, they asked me if I was still going to run, and I said I wouldn’t run to be a dog catcher until these machines are gone.”

“But now, things have changed,” he told us. “I believe that we are going to be paper ballots, hand counting. We’re under a timeline right now, but I believe that within a year, I believe, that’s going to happen.”

Mike says you can find the latest updates on his race on Lindell TV and exclusively here at The Gateway Pundit.

This is a developing story…

The Founding Fathers Were Overwhelmingly Christian, Not Deist

One of the common arguments used to refute the idea that the United States is a Christian nation is the claim that many of the Founding Fathers were Deists. However, this claim is exaggerated.

The overwhelming majority of the Founders were Christians, affiliated with various Protestant denominations, and publicly identified with Christian belief.

A few had Deist leanings, expressing skepticism toward specific doctrines, but only two, Thomas Paine and Ethan Allen, explicitly renounced Christianity in favor of Deism.

Deism is the belief in a creator who does not intervene in human affairs, rejects revealed religion and miracles, and emphasizes reason and natural law over religious doctrine.

Among the Founders commonly associated with Deism or Deist-leaning views were Thomas Jefferson, who rejected the divinity of Jesus and produced a version of the Bible excluding miracles, and Benjamin Franklin, who identified as a Deist in his youth but later acknowledged belief in divine providence and the moral utility of religion.

Thomas Paine, author of The Age of Reason, was a strong and outspoken Deist who rejected Christianity entirely. Ethan Allen, author of Reason the Only Oracle of Man, also openly identified as a Deist.

James Monroe and James Madison are sometimes considered Deist-leaning, though their views were more moderate and private. Madison in particular was known for his strong advocacy of religious liberty and the separation of church and state.

It is important to distinguish these figures from others who are sometimes said to have Deist influences but were more accurately religious moderates or liberal Christians.

George Washington, John Adams, and Alexander Hamilton all attended Christian services, spoke of divine Providence, and expressed belief in God, though their views were often nuanced and evolved over time.

In total, about four to six prominent Founders demonstrated Deist or Deist-leaning views.

However, the vast majority of the Founding Fathers, particularly the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence and the delegates to the Constitutional Convention, identified as Christians, primarily within Protestant traditions.

Only two were Catholic: Charles Carroll and Daniel Carroll. While some key intellectual leaders held Enlightenment-era views critical of religious institutions, over 90% of the Founders believed in God and identified with a Christian tradition, whether personally devout or culturally aligned.

Religious observance was present at several key moments in the founding of the United States. When the First Continental Congress convened in 1774, delegates opened with a formal prayer led by Anglican minister Rev. Jacob Duché and a reading of Psalm 35.

This set the precedent for inviting chaplains to participate in government functions, a tradition that continues in Congress today.

While there is no documented public prayer during the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, the document itself invokes “Nature’s God” and “divine Providence,” reflecting the religious language common among the Founders.

At the Constitutional Convention in 1787, Benjamin Franklin proposed that the delegates begin each session with prayer, though the motion was never formally adopted.

Nonetheless, in 1789, the same year the First Amendment was ratified, both the House and Senate appointed official chaplains, illustrating the Founders’ belief that religious expression in government could coexist with the prohibition against establishing a national church.

George Washington’s first inauguration on April 30, 1789, also included religious elements.

He took the oath of office with his hand on a Bible and then proceeded with members of Congress to a church service at St. Paul’s Chapel in New York City, where Bishop Samuel Provoost offered prayers for the new nation.

These moments demonstrate that while the United States was not founded as a theocracy, religious observance and public acknowledgment of God played a visible role in its early political life.

People often misunderstand the concept of church-state separation, assuming it means the United States is a secular nation devoid of Christian influence.

In reality, the Founding Fathers sought to prevent the kind of religious control over government that had existed in Europe, where both the Catholic Church and the Church of England had wielded political power.

They opposed the idea of any single denomination, Catholic or Protestant, dictating civil law. The Church of England, headed by the British monarch, was especially fresh in their minds as a symbol of religious and political oppression.

What the Founders rejected was state-imposed religion, not Christianity itself.

In fact, almost 100% of the Founding Fathers were Christians by affiliation, primarily Protestant, and many included worship in their public meetings, cited the Bible in their writings, and drew heavily on Christian moral teachings when shaping the nation’s founding principles.

A clear example of the United States’ separation of church and state, alongside its strong Christian heritage, is the fact that the country has no official national religion, as the Constitution explicitly prohibits the establishment of one.

However, it does have a symbolic national house of worship: the Washington National Cathedral, which is distinctly Christian, not Deist or representative of any other faith tradition.

Officially named the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, it is part of the Episcopal Church and located in Washington, D.C. Congress approved its charter in 1893, and President Theodore Roosevelt laid the foundation stone in 1907.

Although it is not a government church, the cathedral has hosted presidential prayer services, state funerals, and national memorials, serving as a ceremonial space that reflects the nation’s historical ties to Christian tradition without violating the constitutional prohibition against establishing a state church.

Bringing Global Conflict Home

Bringing Global Conflict Home

A country whose citizens are at each other’s throats is unlikely to solve the world’s problems.

(MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images)

Back in 1994, then Vice President Al Gore was giving a speech in Milwaukee when he mistranslated the national motto “E pluribus unum” as “Out of one, many.”

“You all share the American belief that there is strength in all our differences,” Gore told the local Institute of World Affairs. This was likely an accurate description of the assembled crowd at such a gathering as far back as the 1990s, though he got the national motto exactly backwards—it is actually “Out of many, one.”

While you can make an argument that is proof even our politicians’ gaffes were smarter 30 years ago, it does speak to the differing answers Americans have always given as to how it was possible to forge a nation out of disparate elements.

There are various answers to this question, many of which don’t comport well with the multiculturalist ideology to which Gore was paying lip service. There is real diversity, and then there is the diversity, equity, and inclusion variety.

But from settlers to immigrants, many who became Americans came here to escape the wars and hatreds of the old world. In the 20th century, that remained the motivation for any number of people even as the countries of origin became more diverse. No country, not even one as great as the United States, has a limitless capacity for this sort of thing. This is among the reasons open borders don’t work, regardless of whether family values stop at the Rio Grande.

Limiting immigration is one way to guard against bringing home the conflicts some immigrants themselves come here to escape. But this is not a panacea when homegrown ideologies lead people to want to join these fights without any meaningful personal or ancestral connection to them.

Elias Rodriguez, the alleged shooter in last week’s attack outside an American Jewish Committee event outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. that left two Israeli embassy staffers dead, appears to be one such case. The suspect is from Chicago. A longtime left-wing activist, his politics might have predicted where his sympathies might lie in the war in Gaza, but not necessarily a proclivity to take up arms in that conflict or do violence to victims who can hardly be considered combatants.

There are plenty of reasons for Americans to care deeply about the victims of Hamas in the October 7 attacks of 2023, the civilian population of Gaza, Ukrainians being bombed by the Russians, or white farmers in South Africa. We are a big and rich country. Our taxpayer dollars are often involved to varying degrees, sometimes on multiple sides. The policeman of the world has many beats, some better policed than others.

What ought to be avoided is recreating the climate of hatred that exists in so many places overseas here in our own country. This is an inevitable pitfall of taking on so many of these conflicts as our own, especially at a time when we are so deeply polarized ourselves.

American citizens now often report cutting off their families over voting differences and disagreements on issues that have actually divided the country for generations. The diversity of opinion that exists in our land often threatens to tear it apart, much less the diversity of opinion that exists throughout the whole world.

If you cannot have dinner with your uncle who favors different marginal tax rates or spending levels, you may not be the best positioned to achieve a lasting peace in the Holy Land.

This is especially true when we view longstanding religious and ethnic tensions abroad through the prism of secular American ideologies, which have limited explanatory power not because they have nothing to teach us—there is growing investment in Western civilization as a whole on the right and a certain empathy that animates corners of the left—but because they are far from the whole story. If you really want to understand the lands whence your great-grandparents came and the people who live there now, intersectionality can really only get you so far.

There is also something to be said for the American example, which has the potential to go further than our interventions. It is extremely difficult for us to exhort others to lay down their arms when we begin to take them up against each other, often in the name of their causes.

Ron DeSantis Slams Congressional Republicans for ‘Betrayal of the Voters Who Elected Them’

“Republicans in name only” is as damning an insult as one GOP member can give another.

And while Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stopped just short of calling some of his peers RINOs, the conservative firebrand didn’t pull his punches beyond that in a blistering X post.

DeSantis — no stranger to fighting against his own party when the need arises — took to social media Tuesday morning to call out a number of his colleagues for not being fiscally conservative enough (or at all) while the country grapples with an insane deficit.

Specifically, DeSantis lamented the lack of support that Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk was getting from congressional lawmakers.

“[Musk] took massive incoming — including attacks on his companies as well as personal smears — to lead the effort on [DOGE],” DeSantis posted to X, before noting just how heavy that toll would become for the tech mogul.

“He became public enemy #1 of legacy media around the world,” DeSantis continued, before getting to the heart of his criticism.

“To see Republicans in Congress cast aside any meaningful spending reductions (and, in fact, fully fund things like USAID) is demoralizing and represents a betrayal of the voters who elected them,” he posted.

DeSantis was responding to conservative personality Matt Van Swol, who began his Tuesday with a threatening good morning for the GOP:

GOOD MORNING GOP!!!

TODAY WOULD BE A GREAT DAY TO PASS THE DOGE CUTS…

…OR ANY DAY IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS FOR THAT MATTER!!!

PASS. THE. DAMN. DOGE. CUTS!!!!!!

— Matt Van Swol (@matt_vanswol) May 27, 2025

Later, when it became clear that the GOP would not “codify” DOGE cuts (which, in fairness, may not even be possible, according to Trump advisor Stephen Miller), Van Swol took to X again, in the post that was eventually picked up by DeSantis.

DOGE is literally one of the most popular government initiatives in history.

73% of Americans say they support cutting government waste.

Trump brought in the smartest man on earth to do it…

…the Left destroyed Elon for it

…the GOP won’t vote on it

I can’t believe this.

— Matt Van Swol (@matt_vanswol) May 26, 2025

“DOGE is literally one of the most popular government initiatives in history,” Van Swol  posted.

“… the GOP won’t vote on it,” he added. “I can’t believe this.”

Adding to the dour mood of this entire social media exchange, Musk himself chimed in, and it was a far cry from the tech mogul’s usual, bombastic self.

Thank you for everything.

I guess it’s time to go to Mars.

— Matt Van Swol (@matt_vanswol) May 26, 2025

“Did my best,” Musk wrote in a muted post.

“Thank you for everything,” Van Swol responded. “I guess it’s time to go to Mars.”

If that ends up being the case, it’s pretty clear that there are at least some Republicans that DeSantis, Van Swol, and perhaps even Musk himself, would like to leave back on Earth.
