President Trump on Monday evening championed his historic election win and the exciting events to come next year during a Kennedy Center Board dinner in the White House’s State Dining Room. 

Recalling his first term, he spoke of his disappointment that he would not be president when the United States hosted the FIFA World Cup soccer tournament and the Olympics in 2026.

“And then they rigged the election,” the president said. “And then I said, you know what I’ll do? I’ll run again, and I’ll shove it up their ass.”

He continued, “And that’s what I did, and all of a sudden, I then realized— I said you know what, I got the Olympics, I got the World Cup, and I got the 250th.”

President Trump has revealed massive plans for the Fourth of July next year, commemorating America’s 250th birthday. On January 29, President Trump signed a Presidential Action titled “Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday.”

The action established a Task Force on Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and reestablished prior executive orders to safeguard American monuments.

Trump celebrated the almost biblical timing of his second term, which coincides with this major milestone in our nation’s history.

“If they would have left us alone and wouldn’t have cheated on the election, and wouldn’t have rigged it, I would have been retired right now. I would have been happily doing something else, and instead, they have me for four more years. Can you beleive it?” Trump said.

Following Joe Biden’s cancer announcement, President Trump on Monday publicly questioned the White House doctor (or other doctors) who signed off on Biden’s physical exams and insisted he was “just fine.”

On Sunday, it was reported that 82-year-old Joe Biden was diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer.

According to Biden’s spox, the former president was diagnosed with prostate cancer last Friday with the cancer cells spreading to his bones.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement said.

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” the statement said.

Medical professionals sounded the alarm and said there is no way Joe Biden was diagnosed with Gleason 9 and metastasis as his initial diagnosis.

One urologist suggested that Joe Biden may have had prostate cancer for the last 5-10 years.

On Monday, President Trump questioned Biden’s doctor(s).

“It takes a long time to get to that situation … to get to a stage nine. I think that if you take a look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine. There was nothing wrong with him,” Trump said referring to Biden’s White House physician Dr. O’Connor.

“You know, the auto pen is becoming a big deal because it seems like that maybe was the president who ever operated, operated the auto pen,” Trump said.

André Ventura, leader of the far-right party Chega, has withdrawn from the campaign after being hospitalized for the second time in 48 hours.

This event, which occurred amid an intense electoral battle, has not only jeopardized Chega’s strategy but has also sparked controversy regarding Ventura’s health, his incendiary rhetoric, and the growing influence of the far right in Portugal.

On May 13, 2025, André Ventura collapsed during a rally in Tavira, Algarve. According to the Huffington Post, the Chega leader clutched his chest and throat, showing clear signs of pain before being rushed to Faro Hospital.

The initial diagnosis pointed to a hypertension episode and gastroesophageal reflux, according to statements made by Pedro Pinto, Chega’s parliamentary leader.

Attempted comeback and new hospitalization.

After being discharged on May 14, Ventura attempted to resume the campaign on May 15 in Odemira. However, during a campaign walk, he collapsed again, clutching his chest and falling into the arms of his aides.

He was transferred to the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano and later to Setúbal Hospital, where he underwent a catheterization. Doctors diagnosed an “acute esophageal spasm,” ruling out cardiac issues, according to El Mundo.

Withdrawal from the campaign.

On May 15, Chega announced that Ventura would not take part in the campaign’s final stretch, prioritizing his health. “Our president will return home after being discharged,” the party stated.

However, in a surprise move, Ventura appeared on May 16 in Lisbon at the campaign’s closing rally, visibly emotional. “These were difficult days, but here I am,” he said, according to Vivir Ediciones.

Political Context: The rise of Chega.

Chega, founded in 2019 by Ventura, has reshaped the Portuguese political landscape. In 2024, it secured 50 seats and 18% of the vote, becoming the third-largest parliamentary force.

Its anti-immigration, anti-corruption, and anti-elite discourse has resonated in a Portugal disillusioned with the traditional two-party system of the Socialist Party (PS) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD).

Controversies during the campaign.

Ventura’s campaign has been marked by controversy. His verbal clashes with Roma communities have drawn widespread criticism. After his first hospitalization, he stirred further scandal by justifying his private room in Faro, stating: “Did you want the gypsies to kill me in a hallway?” according to EL PAÍS. These comments were widely condemned as racist by the media and opposition parties.

Acting Prime Minister Luís Montenegro and President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa both wished Ventura a speedy recovery. However, Rebelo de Sousa warned him not to return to the campaign trail too quickly.

Ventura’s collapse is not just a personal tragedy, but a reflection of the tensions within a divided Portugal. Chega has capitalized on public frustration with the elites, but its hate-fueled discourse and overreliance on a single figure reveal its structural weakness. The left, often complacent, has failed to offer compelling alternatives to stop the far-right’s rise.

These elections will not only determine the country’s next government but will also reveal whether Portugal can withstand the polarization threatening its democracy. Ventura’s health—both literal and symbolic—will serve as a thermometer for this battle.

US Attorney Alina Habba on Monday evening announced her office dropped a misdemeanor trespass charge against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

The charge against Baraka was related to his riotous activity at the Delaney Hall ICE detention center earlier this month.

“After extensive consideration, we have agreed to dismiss Mayor Baraka’s misdemeanor charge or trespass,” Alina Habba said in a statement posted to X on Monday evening.

“In the spirit of public interest, I have invited the mayor to tour Delaney Hall. The government has nothing to hide at this facility, and I will personally accompany the mayor so he can see that firsthand,” Habba said.

Habba also announced her office charged Democrat Congresswoman LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE agents.

The Mayor of Newark was arrested for criminal trespass earlier this month after storming the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility.

Alina Habba previously said Mayor Baraka was taken into custody after he ignored multiple warnings from DHS agents.

“The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW,” Alina Habba said.

After unchecked French Organized Crime Gangs promoted nightly attacks against prisons, it appears that Paris will at long last start thinking seriously about tackling the problem – even if they go about it in a surprising way.

If you were surprised that US President Donald J. Trump floated the idea of rebuilding the Alcatraz prison, just brace yourself for the French idea of building a successor for one of the most infamous prisons in history, L’Îlle du Diable – Devil’s Island.

Today, during a visit to the French Guiana territory, Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin announced that the government will build a new high-security prison in the territory.

It will be used, according to the Minister, ‘to house drug traffickers and radical Islamists’.

BBC reported:

“Gérald Darmanin told Le Journal du Dimanche (JDD) newspaper that the prison would target organized crime ‘at all levels’ of the drug supply chain.

The €400m (£337m) facility, which could open as early as 2028, will be built in an isolated location deep in the Amazon jungle in the northwestern region of Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.”

Located in the middle of the South American jungle, the prison is projected to hold up to 500 people, containing a separate wing specially designed to house ‘the most dangerous criminals’.

“In an interview with JDD, the minister said the new prison would be governed by an ‘extremely strict carceral regime’ designed to ‘incapacitate the most dangerous drug traffickers’.”

Like in so many other countries, French authorities are unable to keep mobile phones from entering into their jails.

“Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni is the former port of entry to the infamous Devil’s Island penal colony, where 70,000 convicts from mainland France were sent between 1852 and 1954. The penal colony was the setting of French writer Henri Charrière’s book Papillon, which was later made into a Hollywood film starring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman.”

“After a thorough review of the video footage of Delaney Hall and a full investigation from HSI, the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey has made the determination to charge Congresswoman LaMonica McIver for assaulting, resisting, and impeding law enforcement officers,” Noem said.

“No one is above the law. If any person, regardless of political party, influence or status, assaults a law enforcement officer as we witnessed Congresswoman McIver do, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem said.

“We thank our brave ICE law enforcement officers for their service to this great nation,” she added.

Liberals X users in the comments were all too happy to join in blaming MAGA, pro-lifers, and Christians.

As is often the case, they were wrong. About as wrong is is humanely possible.

The FBI has confirmed that the bombing of a fertility clinic in Palm Springs was motivated by anti-natalist ideology.

Guy Edward Bartkus, 25, has been named by authorities as the individual suspected of setting off the explosive during Saturday’s incident, which claimed his own life.

Natalism is the belief that societies should encourage childbirth and population growth, often through policies or cultural messaging that promote family life and higher birth rates.

During a Sunday press briefing, officials stated that the suspect may have been trying to broadcast the attack live and confirmed they are examining what they referred to as a “manifesto.”

In this manifesto, which took the form of a 30-minute audio recording, Barkus explained his motives for the attack, which included the belief that humans had never given consent to being alive.

“I figured I would just make a recording explaining why I’ve decided to bomb an IVF building, or clinic,” he explained.

”Basically, it just comes down to I’m angry that I exist and that, you know, nobody got my consent to bring me here.”

He was not a pro-life, MAGA, Christian. If anything, his own manifesto points to pro-abortion talking points. This shameless proclivity to weaponize tragedy is disgraceful.

President Trump signed the Take it Down Act to crimialize revenge porn and other noncensentual porngraphic images into law on Monday. 

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump held a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

The Act requires social media platforms to removenonconsensuall sharing of intimate imagery (NCII)  within 48 hours of a victim’s request. This includes revenge porn and AI generated images. 

The bipartisan bill, championed by First Lady Melania Trump, criminalizesnonconsensuall pornographic images and AI images depicting pornographic imagery.

Trump delivered remarks this afternoon as he signed the bill.

” This will be the first ever federal law to combat the distribution of explicit, imaginary, posted without subject’s consent,” he said.

Bernie Sanders just said the quiet part out loud—and Andrew Schulz got it all on tape.

In one of his most brutally honest interviews ever, Sanders admitted Democrats ARE a threat to democracy.

He even pulled back the curtain on being robbed in 2016 and revealed his thoughts on a 2028 run.

By the halfway mark of the 80-minute conversation, Sanders started unleashing truth bombs.

He said the Democratic establishment sold out decades ago, trading working-class voters for wealthy donors and out-of-touch consultants. According to Sanders, that’s when everything started to fall apart.

“The 70s, 60s, Democrats caught on that you could raise a lot of money from wealthy people,” Sanders explained.

“And it gets back to campaign financing and all that stuff. So you got a Democratic establishment now, which is funded by wealthy people. You have consultants who are really way out of touch with reality, who make a whole lot of money in campaigns. And working class is ignored,” Sanders said.

He added that Donald Trump succeeded where Democrats fell short because at least he pretended to care about the working class.

 

The conversation pivoted to Kamala Harris’s crushing defeat, where Bernie Sanders got visibly upset.

He recalled how Kamala’s “bloody consultants” told her to campaign on: “Hey, everything’s good. We’re going to keep doing the exact same thing.”

“That was what her bloody consultants told her to say. I begged them [to go with a different message]!” Sanders lamented.

Andrew Schulz challenged Sanders, saying, “Why can’t she [Kamala] push back?”—to which he conceded, “You’re right. There’s no argument.”

 

Then came a jaw-dropper. Sanders was cornered by co-host Akaash Singh, who got him to admit that, YES, Democrats ARE a threat to Democracy.

It happened when Schulz brought up how, over the past four election cycles, Democratic voters had little to no real say in who their nominee would be. He flat-out told Sanders that the DNC stole the 2016 primary from him.

Sanders didn’t deny it. “In the world that I live in, you got a choice,” he replied—implying it was either let the Democrats rig the process or risk handing the White House to Trump.

He even said his wife agrees that the nomination was stolen from him. Still, Sanders stood by the choice to support Hillary, calling both her and Trump “not a great choice”—but Hillary the lesser evil.

That’s when Schulz’s co-host Akaash Singh jumped in and asked:

“Could we not also say that if there hasn’t been a fair primary for the Democrats since 2008, are they not also a threat to democracy?”

Sanders conceded. “Fair enough,” he said. “I’m not going to argue with that point.”

 

Sanders pulled back on the Democratic establishment, detailing how they despise “DIRTY” working-class people without a PhD.

He recalled how thousands of energized, working-class supporters would show up to rallies—only to be met with hostility at official party events.

Sanders painted the scene:

“There’d be a few hundred people, mostly older, whiter, wealthier. And you saw the clash. The establishment did not want to open the door. They hated the idea that all these people whose hands were a little bit dirty, who didn’t have PhDs or weren’t wealthy…”

“Imagine walking in—‘It’s my party, man. You ain’t getting in.’ Yes, we will fight you in the most ruthless ways that we can. And that’s the struggle.”

He warned that Democrats either open the door—or go down with the Titanic.

 

It didn’t stop there. Sanders went on to blame the Democratic establishment for destroying his 2016 run with a coordinated smear campaign.

When asked who labeled his grassroots supporters as racists and misogynists, Sanders didn’t hesitate: “It was the Democratic establishment.”

He admitted that the Democratic establishment worked hand-in-hand with the media to push this “myth” to destroy his campaign.

“They were sitting there, we had a lot of young people, we had people of color, and you know, they create this kind of myth, with the help of the corporate media and all that stuff,” Sanders explained.

Then it got worse. When Schulz pointed out that the same playbook was used against podcasters in 2024, Sanders agreed without skipping a beat: “Yeah, that’s what the liberal elite tries to do.”

 

The conversation ended with a surprise. Bernie Sanders officially ruled out a 2028 presidential run, saying, “I think I’ve run my last race.”

What came next was another shocker: he refused to endorse AOC.

When asked if his “Oligarchy Tour” with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was part of a passing of the baton, Sanders shut it down immediately.

“No. Don’t look at it like that,” adding, “It’s not a passing of the baton.”

While he praised her efforts, he made his position clear:

“I think Alexandria is great, but it’s NOT MY JOB to determine who the new leaders are.”
