The Marxist, anti-white mayor of Chicago may now face federal prosecution for his stunning comments about his vile, racist hiring policy.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Mayor Brandon Johnson boasted that he only hires black people because they are the “most generous people on the planet.” He also labored on how blacks make up the majority of influential positions in the mayor’s office.

“There are detractors that will push back on me and say, you know, the only thing that the mayor talks about is the hiring of black people,” Johnson bragged. “No, what I’m saying is, when you hire our people, we always look out for everybody else. We are the most generous people on the planet.”

“I don’t know too many cultures that have play cousins,” he added. “That’s how generous we are. We just make somebody a family member, right? This is how we are.”

“So, Business and Economic Neighborhood Development, the deputy mayor, is a black woman. Department of Planning and Development is a black woman. Infrastructure, deputy mayor, is a black woman. Chief Operations Officer is a black man. Budget Director is a black woman. Senior Advisor is a black man.”

Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, announced the DOJ launched an investigation into Johnson’s remarks about Chicago’s alleged hiring practices.

“The Department of Justice is opening an investigation to determine whether the city of Chicago, Illinois, is engaging in a pattern or practice of discrimination based on race,” the letter reads.

“Our investigation is based on information suggesting that you have made hiring decisions solely on the basis of race. In your remarks made yesterday at the Apostolic Church of God in Woodlawn, you ‘highlight[ed] the number of Black officials in [your] administration,” the letter goes on to say.

Dhillon goes on to point out in the letter that Johnson made the following remarks, which emphasize racism.

• “Business and Economic Neighborhood Development, the deputy mayor is a Black woman.”
• “Department of Planning and Development is a Black woman.”
• “Infrastructure, deputy mayor is a Black woman.”
• “Chief operations officer is a Black man.”
• “Budget director is a Black woman.”
• “Senior advisor is a Black man.”

Dhillon went on to note that if Johnson was hiring based on race for high-level decisions, he quite possible was doing the same for lower-level ones.

“If these kind of hiring decisions are being made for top-level positions in your administration, then it begs the question whether such decisions are also being made for lower-level positions,” Dhillon added.

Former FBI Director James Comey ran to MSNBC in his first public appearance after he called for Trump to be killed in a cryptic Instagram post.

James Comey was interviewed by the US Secret Service on Friday afternoon at the Washington Field Office.

Comey is under investigation for calling for Trump to be killed in a cryptic Instagram post.

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his caption.

According to CNN, James Comey was not in custody. He voluntarily went in for the interview with Secret Service.

Comey’s follow up statement was an obvious lie.

“I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message. I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down,” Comey said on Instagram.

Comey implied he did not assemble the shell formation. He is claiming that he just happened to stumble across the assassination message while he was on his beach walk.

On Monday, James Comey (as he conveniently plugged his new book) peddled a BS story explaining how he just stumbled upon a curious formation of shells as he was walking down the beach with his wife.

“Yeah, all for walking on the beach with my wife. So I don’t know how we ended up here. Never occurred to me that it was any kind of controversial thing, but that’s the time we live in,” Comey told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace.

“So, take me back to the walk on the beach,” Nicolle Wallace said.

“We were walking on the beach, we went to the beach to prepare for this week… and we were walking back towards the road and we saw in the sand someone had arranged shells with numbers. And Patrice, my wife, said, ‘why would someone put an address in the sand?’ and I said, ‘I don’t know’ and we stood over and I said, ‘I think it’s some kind of political message,’” Comey said.

Comey then threw his wife under the bus.

“She said you know, when I was a server – she did a lot of work in restaurants – meant to remove an item from the menu when you ran out of ingredients. And I said, ‘well to me, as a kid it always meant to leave a place, to ditch a place.’ And she said well that very clever you should take a picture of that and I did and posted it on my Instagram and though nothing more of it until I heard through her that people were saying that it was a call for some sort of assassination which is crazy!” Comey said.

Comey told Nicolle Wallace that he’s just an old boring grandfather who likes to wear jeans and sweaters so he was impressed by the person who created the clever political message out of shells.

The Federal Aviation Administration on Monday confirmed a fourth radio outage at Newark Liberty International Airport.

This time the outage lasted about 2 seconds.

CNN reported:

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating another radio outage at the troubled air traffic approach control facility responsible for flights approaching and departing Newark Liberty International Airport.

The Newark terminal radar approach control facility, also known as Philadelphia TRACON Area C, experienced a radio outage for approximately two seconds around 11:35 a.m. Monday, the FAA said.

All aircraft remained safely separated and operations are normal, the agency said, adding it is investigating.

Earlier this month Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy ripped Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg after an alarming radar outage at Newark Airport.

United Airlines pulled 35 round-trip flights a day following a radar outage at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey last week.

Air traffic controllers recently lost communication with planes flying in and out of Newark for about 90 seconds.

National Air Traffic Controllers Association told Bloomberg News that Newark “temporarily lost radar and communications with the aircraft under their control, unable to see, hear, or talk to them.”

“Air traffic controllers guiding planes bound for Newark Liberty International Airport lost radar and radio communication for more than a minute early last week before flights at the key hub were snarled for days, according to people familiar with the matter,” Bloomberg reported.

“The outage of those key systems occurred on April 28 and lasted nearly 90 seconds, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing the matter because it isn’t public. Following the incident, multiple employees were placed on trauma leave, the people said,” Bloomberg reported.

United grounded flights after an air traffic controller said Newark is “not safe.”

Biden’s DEI Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg did nothing to fix the antiquated air traffic control system even though he was given billions of dollars to handle the problem.

Buttigieg couldn’t even fix the potholes when he was a small town mayor of South Bend, Indiana, so it is no surprise that he did not thing to improve the air traffic control system.

Secretary Duffy blasted Buttigieg and Biden for doing nothing to fix the air traffic control equipment.

“What did they do? Nothing! Instead they spent their time focused on changing the name of ‘cockpit’ to ‘flight deck,’” Duffy said.

Democrat Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ alternate Trump electors case is on life support after a judge found that prosecutors failed to inform jurors about the law that was central to the state’s case.

Trump attorney Christina Bobb reacted to the judge’s order and said the case should be dismissed entirely.

The Washington Post reported:

An Arizona judge has ordered state prosecutors to send back to a grand jury a case in which Republicans were charged last year for their alleged roles in trying to overturn the 2020 election, potentially jeopardizing the high-profile indictments.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sam J. Myers sided with the Republicans and found that prosecutors failed to provide the grand jury with the text of an 1887 federal law that is central to the Republicans’ defense. The law, known as the Electoral Count Act, spells out how presidential electoral votes are to be cast and counted.

“We are extremely pleased with the court’s ruling, and we think the judge got it exactly right,” said Stephen Binhak, the attorney who spearheaded the effort to get the case back to a grand jury.

The Arizona alternate Trump electors case brought by Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes started to crumble last year after a judge allowed the defendants to argue the charges are politically motivated.

During a hearing last year, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Bruce Cohen said he was open to listening to the defendants’ arguments to have the indictment thrown out under Arizona’s anti-SLAPP law, which was recently expanded by the legislature to cover vindictive politically motivated charges.

In February, Maricopa County Judge Sam Myers said the defendants successfully argued that the charges against them appear to have violated the state’s anti-SLAPP statute.

“Myers said that Arizona Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes’ declaration when announcing the indictment that “this should never happen again” can be construed as assigning political motivation to the prosecution,” Courthouse News reported.

Arizona prosecutors were given 45 days to respond to the judge’s finding and prove the charges were to enforce the law and not violate the First Amendment rights of the defendants.

Last April, Trump 2020 alternate electors, GOP state legislators, former Arizona GOP chairwoman Kelli Ward and others were indicted by a state grand jury in Arizona.

A total of 18 people involved in the Arizona alternate electors plan were indicted by the Arizona grand jury last year.

Trump lawyers Christina Bobb, Jenna Ellis, Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman were all charged with felonies.

President Trump was named “Unindicted Coconspirator-1” in the indictment because he made a phone call about the ballot counting to former governor Doug Ducey.

Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes defended her witch hunt and the curious timing of the indictment – just months before the 2024 general election. Make no mistake, the charges were a warning shot to anyone who may have wanted to challenge the 2024 election.

“We conducted a thorough and professional investigation over the past 13 months into the fake electors scheme in our state,” Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes said in a video announcing the charges. “I understand for some of you today didn’t come fast enough. And I know I’ll be criticized by others for conducting this investigation at all. But as I’ve stated before, and we’ll say here again, today, I will not allow American democracy to be undermined.”

All nine felony charges against former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis, including fraud, forgery, and conspiracy, were previously dropped in a plea deal.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt opened her press briefing on Monday, championing the Trump-backed ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ as House Republicans prepare to pass the legislation later this week. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House Budget Committee on Sunday night passed the Big Beautiful Bill budget reconciliation package, paving the way for a vote on the House floor this week.

President Trump has been the driving force behind the bill, urging Republicans to enact his 2017 tax cuts, as well as his no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on social security plan.

He responded to the Budget Committee’s passage of the bill shortly after midnight:

Leavitt highlighted the bill’s passage through the House Budget Committee and the benefits to the American people on Monday and called on Congress to send it to the President’s desk “as soon as possible.”

“Send this legislation to his desk as soon as possible for his signature,” she demanded of House and Senate Republicans.

The CEA study also said that the average overtime worker receives a tax cut of roughly $2,000. Again, this is great news for our nurses, our police officers, and all those who work overtime to make ends meet across our country. Put simply, President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill will be a boon for working-class America. This One Big Beautiful Bill is also pro-family. It will increase the child tax credit to $2,500 per child, establish optional savings account for newborn babies with a $1,000 credit added, and strengthen paid family leave. This bill also delivers historic tax relief to America’s seniors by allowing middle and low-income Social Security recipients to deduct an additional $4,000 in payments from their taxable income.

If Democrats get their way, the Trump tax cuts are not extended. Americans will face the largest tax hike in history to the tune of $4 trillion. Republicans must not side with Democrats in helping them raise taxes. The one big, beautiful bill also provides critical protections of Medicaid, which will strengthen and preserve the program for decades to come through common-sense efforts to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.

Medicaid will no longer be used to pay for barbaric gender mutilation procedures on minor children, and the 1.4 million illegal aliens who are currently improperly receiving medicaid benefits will be kicked off the program to preserve it for hard-working American citizens who need it. President Trump and Republicans are protecting Medicaid benefits for pregnant women, children, disabled individuals, low-income seniors, families, and the most vulnerable Americans in our society. And that’s what Democrats are so angry about: basic Medicaid protections that will stop the funding of transgender insanity and illegal aliens from ripping off American taxpayers.

As you all know, over his first four months in office, President Trump ended the previous administration’s open border crisis and secured our homeland in record time, all using executive authority. Now, Congress needs to act. The one big beautiful bill is the most significant investment in our nation’s Border Patrol and law enforcement agents in our nation’s history. The bill ensures that President Trump’s popular and successful border security measures are made permanent. Republicans have the backs of border patrol and ICE agents who were put through hell over the past four years and have quickly worked to secure our southern border, and that’s why this bill gives them more resources to do their jobs, including a $10,000 much needed bonus to ICE agents and border patrol agents over the next four years.

To provide those brave agents with desperately needed reinforcements on the ground, the bill allows for the hiring of thousands of new ICE personnel, Customs officers, and border patrol agents. These significant hirings will empower President Trump to continue delivering on his promise to carry out the largest mass deportation in the history of our country. Again, that is a promise that Republicans made to American voters, it’s a promise they were elected on, and it’s a promise Republicans on Capitol Hill need to keep: secure our border. To supplement those efforts, the bill funds— will fund the completion of President Trump’s signature border wall.

As a result, 701 miles of primary wall, 900 miles of river barrier, 629 miles of secondary barriers, and 141 miles of vehicle and pedestrian barriers will be constructed when this bill passes, along with cutting-edge technology to secure our homeland from dangerous, illegal alien invaders. This bill also advances our national security and defense interests by ensuring the United States military has the necessary resources to remain the strongest and most lethal fighting force in the world. The bill will provide resources for the construction of President Trump’s Golden Dome to safeguard Americans from potential attacks, give the Coast Guard resources to build more modernized ships, and the Air Force resources to acquire better planes.

If all of those incredible things were not enough, the big, beautiful bill also finally modernizes air traffic control in America, a bipartisan issue. The bill will allow President Trump to deliver on his promise to overhaul and update our air traffic control systems to keep Americans flying as safe and efficiently as possible. The previous administration failed to act and do this themselves, despite repeated warnings from the GAO, which has resulted in unacceptable delays at major airports like Newark that the Trump administration is working hard to address. When the One Big, Beautiful Bill passes, we will replace the current, antiquated system, the FAA will enhance safety in our skies, reduce delays, empower the future of air travel in the United States. That’s just some of what this historic legislation will accomplish.

It is absolutely essential that Republicans unite behind the one big, beautiful bill and deliver on President Trump’s agenda. There is no time to waste. Americans gave Republicans a once-in-a-generation opportunity to course correct our country over many wrongs over the past four years, and Americans are counting on Republicans to work as hard as President Trump is in this White House every day on Capitol Hill. Send this legislation to his desk as soon as possible for his signature.

President Donald Trump and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone for two hours Monday, with Trump writing on social media that “the tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent.” Trump further said that as a result of the call “Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War.” 

The call follows shortly after the first round of direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in years were held in Istanbul last week. Trump had publicly called on Putin and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenksy to attend the talks, a challenge Zelensky accepted and Putin declined. The brief meeting by the countries’ diplomats produced a prisoner exchange but no ceasefire or peace agreement.

In Russia, Putin told reporters who asked about the call with Trump that the conversation was “very informative and very frank” but repeated his assertion that “the main thing for us is to eliminate the root causes of this crisis.”

Ashli Babbitt, American patriot and victim of government violence

On Friday, news broke that a settlement in principle was reached in the Ashli Babbitt wrongful death lawsuit brought against the US government by the Babbitt family.

Judicial Watch brought forth this lawsuit and has represented the family for years.

The Gateway Pundit has extensively covered this lawsuit since it was filed in January 2024.

The lawsuit extensively details the history of incompetence and multiple revocations of firearm privileges for previous dangerous incidents involving Officer Michael Byrd, the Capitol Police officer who murdered Babbitt in cold blood.

This includes a failure “to meet or complete semiannual firearms qualification requirements,” leaving a “loaded Glock 22—the same firearm he used to shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt – in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center,” and a shooting into a moving vehicle stolen by teenagers, where the off-duty cop reportedly struck homes nearby with his bullets.

“Lt. Byrd had a reputation among peers for not being a good shot,” the lawsuit alleges.

The Washington Examiner reported that the suit was filed on behalf of Babbitt’s estate and her husband, Aaron Babbitt, and claims the officer who shot Babbitt was “incompetent” and “dangerous” and should have recognized Babbitt posed no threat to Congress when she entered the House speaker’s lobby.

On Monday, the US Government agreed to pay $5 million to the family of Ashli Babbitt who was shot dead in cold blood by Capitol Police Officer Mike Byrd on January 6, 2021.

God bless Ashli’s mother and her family. This won’t bring Ashli back but maybe it’s a step to make sure such a callous killing will not take place again in the US Capitol.

Starmer has betrayed Brexit.

Failing UK Labour leader and Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has just betrayed Brexit – and may have dealt a death blow to the island’s fishing industry.

There’s widespread alarm over the terms of the ‘reset’ deal with the European Union and the huge concessions that he made.

At a press conference alongside European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen, Keir Starmer says he is ‘moving on’ from ‘Brexit battles’, and that this deal will put Britain ‘back on the world stage’.

“Sir Keir said the agreement was a ‘win-win’ that would bring down food prices and revive exports. However, there are already massive concerns over the price the UK has paid in return for smoother trade.

EU fishing boats will be guaranteed access to UK waters on the current terms for 12 years, after the French mounted a last-minute ambush demanding longer guarantees than the four years Sir Keir originally offered. Ministers have announced a £360million fund to help appease furious coastal communities.”

Keir Starmer has just handed Britain’s sovereignty back to Brussels.

“In return, the deal would see checks on lorries taking food to the continent lifted permanently – ending the so-called ‘sausage wars’. That is supposed to boost the economy by £9billion by 2040.”

But the UK will have to accept Brussels’ agricultural and rules, as well as make ‘an appropriate financial contribution’ to the EU’s Sanitary systems.

“Defense firms will gain access to a £126billion EU-wide weapons fund, although British taxpayers face having to pay millions for the privilege.”

‘FRIENDS’: French negotiators ambushed Starmer’s team and clutched last-minute concessions on fishing.

“[Conservative Party leader] Kemi Badenoch pointed out that 12 years of fishing rights would be three times longer than the Government originally wanted. ‘We’re becoming a rule-taker from Brussels once again,’ she warned.
