Mexican cartel members were arrested after the bodies of five missing Mexican musicians were found along the US border on Thursday.

Investigators began searching for members of the music band Grupo Fugitivo after they were kidnapped on Sunday night.

The deceased bodies were discovered on the Mexican side of the border just south of McAllen, Texas.

According to local reports, relatives of the musicians received ransom demands before the group of men was reportedly found badly burned in the city of Reynosa in Tamaulipas.

The US State Department currently advises against all travel to Tamaulipas, Mexico, due to kidnappings and cartel violence, especially in the border region of Reynosa.

CBS News reported:

The bodies of five musicians, members of a Mexican regional music group who had gone missing, were found in the northern city of Reynosa along the Texas border, authorities said on Thursday.

The musicians from the band Grupo Fugitivo, which played at parties and local dances in the region, had been reported missing since Sunday.

Tamaulipas state prosecutors, who had been investigating their disappearance, said the men were kidnapped around 10 p.m. that night while traveling in a SUV on the way to a venue where they were hired to play. Their bodies were found on the fringes of Reynosa. Prosecutors said nine suspects believed to be part of a faction of the Gulf Cartel, which has strong presence in the city, have been arrested.

Authorities were not immediately able to say why the men were slain, and did not deny reports by local media that the bodies had been burned.

Haoxiang Gao, a green card holder 20-year-old University of Michigan Ann Arbor student from China who was being prosecuted for illegally voting in the 2024 election in Ann Arbor now faces a new charge of flight to avoid prosecution after it was revealed in court this week he fled the U.S. back to China on January 19 (the before President Trump was sworn into office) using a secret passport in his name after previously turning in his known passport as part of his pre-trial release conditions.

The 19-year-old student, Haoxiang Gao, was court-ordered to remain in Michigan while on a $5,000 bond for the state criminal charges he faced for the illegal vote.

Gao boarded Delta Flight #389 from Detroit International Airport to Shanghai on Jan. 19, according to a federal case that was recently unsealed.

The student was forced to surrender his passport when he was arraigned on the original charges of false swearing to register/vote and unqualified elector attempting to vote on Nov. 8, 2024.

His passport with a serial number ending in “1332” was surrendered to authorities on Nov. 1, according to the federal criminal complaint.

Gao, however, used a passport in his name with the serial number ending in “7137” to pass through airport security and board the flight to Shanghai, according to the complaint.

Gao was a no show for an April 24 probable cause hearing, reported VoteBeat (excerpt):

Haoxiang Gao, 20, a Chinese national, is facing two felony charges that he cast a ballot despite not being eligible and lied on the voter registration form. He was scheduled for a probable-cause hearing but didn’t appear. The hearing had been delayed repeatedly over the past several months.

It’s not clear where Gao is. K. Orlando Simón, Gao’s attorney and a staff member at the University of Michigan’s Student Legal Services, declined to comment Thursday, and university officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A voicemail left with the Washtenaw County prosecutor’s office Friday morning was not immediately returned.

The bench warrant, which authorizes an arrest, is an escalation in a case that has highlighted a loophole in the state’s same-day registration system, prompting lawmakers and state officials to propose new solutions to ensure it won’t happen again.

The decision, made by Judge J. Cedric Simpson of District 14A Court, happened after a bench conference with Gao’s lawyer.

If convicted, Gao could face up to nine years in prison and potential deportation.

Gao apparently chose to self-deport without being asked to by Tom Homan.

The Michigan Enjoyer did a deep dive on Gao’s case in March, including his police interviews. Gao said he realized he should not have voted and contacted officials. Gao was born in China, but his family moved between the U.S. and China several times while he was growing up (excerpt):

Haoxiang Gao, the University of Michigan student and Chinese national who voted illegally last year in Ann Arbor, told authorities he identified as an American citizen moments before casting a ballot.

Gao, who goes by Neil, was not a new arrival from China who stumbled into a voting booth. He attended elementary school in Seattle after being born in China. His family then returned to China, and then moved to Florida before his junior year of high school.

Gao is a green card holder, but he is not an American citizen and is not eligible to vote.

On October 27, 2024, Gao decided he was citizen enough to vote that day, according to police reports obtained by Michigan Enjoyer via public records request.

In police interviews, Gao claims he thought his status as a green card holder qualified him to vote.

Gao’s vote could not be separated from the others and was counted as a legal vote.

The United States does not have an extradition treaty with China.

During ‘The View’ on Friday, host Joy Behar made a comment that perfectly demonstrates why Democrats are having such a problem attracting male voters and will continue to do so.

In the 2024 election, various analyses showed that male voters of pretty much every race swung heavily to Trump and Republicans.

Democrats are reportedly spending upwards of $20 million dollars to study why this happened and how to correct it. They know that this trend has hurt them now and will in future elections.

Joy Behar seems determined to make sure that men stay away.

The disillusionment of men is how do we care better about our men and boys, it should be about how we solve the root problems that drove men to feel like they had nowhere to go.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “The most common thing I hear from men who were open to supporting Trump, they feel like they want to be able to provide for the future and build wealth and don’t want to be ashamed they want to provide and want to have money. Then they do see these statistics of how men are falling behind and want to be able to highlight it and talk about it but not be pushed back that you’re saying, oh, well, you’re excluding girls and women if you want to advance men.”

Behar said, “You wonder what I think? I think it’s a waste of money. Maybe these guys should spend their money on teaching men to not be such sexists. Maybe that’s it.”

CNN data analyst Harry Enten recently pointed out that polls show the American people agree with Trump on the issue of higher education. Something is wrong.

The left seems to think Trump just got out of bed one morning and decided to go to war with Harvard and other universities. That’s not what happened at all, not even close. Colleges and universities in the United States have been allowed to transform into Marxist indoctrination centers over the years, where students are allowed or even encouraged to hate their country and allies like Israel.

All Trump is trying to do is return some semblance of sanity and balance to campus. This has been needed for years but Trump is the first American president to address the problem.

Most Americans agree that it needs to be fixed.

CNN’s Harry Enten reported that faith in higher education has suffered a stunning collapse in the last decade, with “most Americans” in agreement with President Donald Trump that there’s a real problem. Enten broke down the new polling showing that the perception of institutional liberal bias is a huge problem for colleges and universities.

Speaking with Kate Bolduan on Thursday, Enten explained that the percentage of Americans who express high confidence in higher education has “plummeted” from 57% in 2015 to just 36% as of last year — and not just among Republicans.

“That number has plummeted, plummeted as of last year, down to 36%. We’re talking about a 36-point drop among Republicans specifically,” he said. “Get this: 68% of Americans said that higher education was on the wrong track.”

Enten added that while “it’s a question of whether or not people agree with Trump’s tactics,” it is still the case that they “definitely agree with him on the idea that there is a problem with higher ed overall.”

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday rejected the DOJ’s bid to lift a Clinton judge’s order blocking Trump’s reorganization plans for 20 federal agencies.

Last Friday US District Judge Susan Illston, a Clinton appointee, turned a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) into a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump Administration’s effort to overhaul and reorganize 20 agencies in the Executive Branch.

In February, President Trump implemented an executive order to completely overhaul the Executive Branch through the work of DOGE.

The California-based judge said in order for President Trump to make such large-scale overhauls, he needs approval from Congress.

Judge Illston blocked any reduction-in-force (RIF) notices to workers in 20 federal agencies.

The judge’s preliminary injunction came in response to a lawsuit filed by the anti-American AFL-CIO and American Federation of Government Employees.

Judge Illston enjoined DOGE, the State Department, Treasury and other agencies.

The Trump DOJ appealed Judge Illston’s injunction and on Friday, a three-judge panel on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the appeal in a 2-1 decision.

The three-judge panel majority: William Fletcher (Clinton), Lucy Koh (Obama) and dissent: Consuelo Callahan (George W. Bush).

Judges Fletcher and Koh said President Trump violated the separation of powers and usurped congressional authority when he tried to overhaul 20 federal agencies.

The 16-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested last week by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“The minor, who was convicted of reckless driving resulting in death was arrested along with his family who are also illegal aliens,” ICE said.

The previous week, the minor was sentenced to probation and community service for killing 24-year-old Kaitlyn Weaver after speeding at 90 miles an hour in a 45 mph zone without a driver’s license.

The case ignited widespread public outrage over our warped criminal justice system, which allows an illegal alien to escape jail time despite killing an American citizen.

Sadly, there are countless instances where illegal aliens have murdered Americans and were still not deported.

The absurd layers of lawbreaking involved in many of these cases are so egregious they almost sound fictional.

Democrats and their legacy media comrades who advocate for illegal immigration are responsible for the senseless deaths of countless Americans who are killed by foreign invaders.

Anyone who sneaks into the country illegally has broken federal laws and should be deported.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that the United States is required to serve as a mass dumping for unvetted armies of illegal aliens.

And American taxpayers should not be obligated to feed and house tens of millions of third-world migrants for the rest of their lives simply because unpatriotic leftists demand this.

There’s nothing compassionate about leaving our borders open for daily invasions by foreign nationals who drain public resources, commit crimes against Americans, and erode social cohesion.

Allowing this travesty to continue unabated is akin to national suicide.

This scenario reflects a reality many Americans face today: insecurity, uncertainty, and the need to make radical decisions to protect their wellbeing and that of their families. “We made Plan A and many backup plans, and right now we are operating under Plan A,” Christine says, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for any scenario.

Betting on a safe future outside EE.UU.

Christine and her wife’s plan includes clear alternatives if they do not get the visa in New Zealand: “In the worst case, we could stay about nine months in New Zealand, and if our visa is not approved and we are firmly disqualified from staying, we will visit Australia for nine months and work on our plan. If we still cannot find one, we will go to Japan.” This mobility shows a strong will to escape what they consider an unsafe country.

This testimony highlights the importance of national security and internal order, two priorities President Donald Trump has firmly defended during his term. The exodus of citizens to other countries out of fear and lack of opportunities must be a wake-up call for EE.UU. authorities.

Liberals on social media are hysterically spreading the lie that the Trump administration is going to deport a 4-year-old girl to Mexico where she will die without American medical care.

This is simply not true.

The AP reported,

A senior Homeland Security official, in an email sent from an address for media inquiries, said the family is not actively being deported and a more recent application for parole that was filed two weeks ago is still being considered.

The Trump administration has been pushing to dismantle policies from President Joe Biden’s administration that allowed for people to live legally in the U.S., generally for two years.

The family is not being forced to return to Mexico. In addition, she was not born in the United States. Prior to being granted humanitarian parole the girl and her family lived, key word lived, in Mexico. The young girl was born with this condition. If there is no treatment possible outside of the United States how did she live the first two years of her life in Mexico?

The AP continued,

In Mexico, the girl was largely confined to a hospital because of her medical condition, her mother Deysi Vargas told reporters. Once the family arrived at the border, U.S. officials had the child taken to a hospital in San Diego, where she stayed until she was well enough to join a program through Children’s Hospital Los Angeles that allows her to receive treatment at home in Bakersfield, California, Vargas said.

Now, she enjoys going to the park and the supermarket — and above all, living outside a hospital’s walls, Vargas said.

“With the help she has received in the United States, my daughter has the opportunity to leave the hospital, see the world, and live like a girl her age,” Vargas said in Spanish.

It appears the primary difference is that in the United States we have a specific type of treatment not available in Mexico that has given her more flexibility.

The Trump administration is still reviewing this case, but what is clear is that the hysterically theatric claims of the left are once again false.

Waterbury, CT Mall Shooting Press Conference Criticized as “PR Infomercial”

Five people were shot at Brass Mill Center mall and a stunned community looked to law enforcement and state leaders for answers. Instead, the people got a press conference that felt more like a marketing campaign than a serious response to a horrific tragedy.

Governor Ned Lamont and Waterbury city officials took the stage, but instead of explaining why active shooter drills apparently failed, why the 19-year-old shooter, Tajuan Washington, was free on bond, or why police still haven’t found the weapon used in the shooting, most of the time was spent pushing for new grants and funding for conflict resolution programs. The event quickly shifted from addressing the public’s urgent concerns to promoting behavioral health initiatives and obtaining nonprofit outreach grants, with little mention of the investigation’s glaring gaps.

Residents are left asking: Why did the Governor and law enforcement use the shooting incident to lobby for more money rather than providing much needed answers? For example, why weren’t tough questions about the suspect’s hidden police history or the missing gun addressed? For many in Waterbury, the press conference felt like a PR stunt—an attempt to spin the tragedy into an opportunity for funding, rather than a moment of accountability and transparency.

Until officials stop dodging the hard questions and start delivering real solutions, trust in Waterbury’s leaders and law enforcement will remain at an all-time low.

The O’Keefe Media Group on Friday released part two of its undercover footage of Nevada DHHS Official Deshaun Mack admitting to ‘bending the rules’ to get Medicare to pay for transition surgeries for minors.

Deshaun Mack admitted he helps transition children and hide the castration surgeries from parents. He also said he uses a loophole to get Medicare to pay for the transition surgeries.

Per O’Keefe Media Group:

Deshaun Eli Mack, a Family Services Specialist with the Nevada DHHS, told an undercover OMG journalist that not only has he helped children transition, but he has done it “a few times, actually. Actually, a lot of times,” adding, “I don’t see as many as I would enjoy seeing.”

Mack described helping a biological male pursue so-called feminization surgery. “She had specifically asked me about feminization surgery,” he recalled, explaining the advice he gave: “I told her the best way to get it would be to make sure that your doctor says that it’s medically necessary. So that medicare pays for it.”

When asked about what happens if a child’s parents don’t approve of the transition or don’t know about it, Mack made it clear: “We do not actually tell anyone.” He elaborated further, stating, “I can’t even tell you that your child is receiving benefits. Because you’re not on that case.” According to Mack, “The parents don’t need to know that you’re transitioning. You can just go to the doctor.”

Even more disturbing, Mack openly admitted to abusing the state’s “runaway youth” provision to bypass parental consent. “At that point, I would just shoot them as a runaway youth,” he said.

He further explained the mechanics of how the system can be manipulated: “We can approve the benefits for the child by themselves. Or we can pull them off their parent’s case.” He added that this practice doesn’t alert other state agencies either: “I don’t even think in that circumstance we let our sister agency, DCFS, Division of Child Care and Family Services, I don’t even think we alert them at that point.”

“I can’t even tell you that your child is receiving benefits. Because you’re not on that case.” Mack told the OMG journalist. “The parents don’t need to know that you’re transitioning. You can just go to the doctor.”

On Thursday OMG released undercover video of Deshaun Eli Mack admitting to bending the rules to provide benefits for illegal aliens.

“I get them emergency medical all the time… I just approve them for 12 months because I can,” Nevada DHHS specialist Deshaun Eli Mack said.

“Even undocumented people from Mexico and things; I can still get them benefits,” he said.

On Thursday Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo responded to O’Keefe’s video.

“I want to assure Nevadans that this incident will be thoroughly investigated. Furthermore, if the investigation determines that an unlawful act has been committed, we will seek prosecution to the fullest extent of the law,” Lombardo said.
