RINO Don Bacon (R-NE) is now threatening to derail Trump’s agenda with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act when the Senate sends it back to the House, where Republicans hold a slim majority. 

“I’m not a ‘yes’ necessarily,” he said shortly after announcing plans to retire from the House of Representatives at the end of his term.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Bacon announced last week that he will not seek reelection in 2026 for Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District.

Bacon, the same guy who called on President Trump to fire Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and labeled his own voters Nazis, reportedly plans to restore his idea of the Republican party after he leaves Congress.

One of his final parting gifts may be to turn his back on Republican voters once again.

Per the Wall Street Journal:

His announcement that he won’t run for re-election comes as the party has just days to pass the president’s tax and spending bill ahead of a self-imposed July 4 deadline. Bacon, who is considered a pivotal vote, says he is waiting to see what passes out of the Senate before he decides what to do.
“I’m not a ‘yes’ necessarily,” said Bacon in a wide-ranging interview about his decision to leave Congress. He argues that the Senate’s initial text on Republicans’ “one big, beautiful bill” was worse than the version he helped pass out of the House. The Senate released a revised version in recent days and is hoping to quickly approve it and send it back to the House, where the GOP has a thin 220-212 majority and party leaders need every vote they can get.
“It’ll come down to: Does the bad outweigh the good, or the good outweigh the bad by the time it’s done?” He said he had concerns about the Medicaid provisions and the rollback of clean energy tax credits.
After he leaves the Hill, Bacon wants to work to restore more traditional Republican views to the GOP, and is getting more involved with a group called Legacy Republicans, which advocates for candidates who embrace views espoused by former President Ronald Reagan.

The Senate voted to advance the legislation by one vote on Saturday and is now debating the bill and weighing amendments.

The bill will then be sent to the House to approve changes made in the Senate and, if passed, it will be signed into law by President Trump.

JUST IN: Senate Rejects Measure to Kick Illegals Off Medicaid 56-44

The Senate, during a vote-a-rama on the One Big Beautiful Bill on Monday afternoon, failed to include a provision that would end illegal aliens from fraudulently receiving Medicaid benefits.

Per Townhall, the vote to remove illegals from Medicaid failed by a margin of 56-44.

Removing illegals from Medicaid benefits was one of the key provisions in the bill that the unelected Senate Parliamentarian rejected by applying the “Byrd Rule.” This causes these provisions to require 60 votes instead of a simple majority.

If it weren’t for the Senate Parliamentarian’s rejection of this measure, it would have passed.

This failed vote comes after RINO Thom Tillis, who announced he will not seek reelection after Trump slammed him in a statement, was railing on the Senate Floor against the bill’s cuts to Medicaid for illegal aliens, refugees, and asylum seekers.

“Republicans are about to make a mistake on health care and betray a promise. It is inescapable that this bill in its current form will betray the very promise that Donald J. Trump made in the Oval Office—or in the Cabinet Room, when I was there with Finance—where he said, ‘we can go after waste, fraud, and abuse on any programs,’” Tillis said, claiming that the President was relying on bad advice that would hurt Americans.

RINO on the Loose! Senator Thom Tillis Launches Tirade Against Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ After Announcing Retirement—Says It Will “Break Promises” to Medicaid Recipients

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to his dishonest rant during a press briefing earlier on Monday, saying that Tillis is “wrong” as she highlighted how the bill protects American citizens who need Medicaid assistance and removes 1.4 million illegals from the program.

“He is just wrong, and the President and the vast majority of Republicans who are supportive of this legislation are right. This bill protects Medicaid, as I laid out for you, for those who truly deserve this program, the needy, pregnant women, children, sick Americans who physically cannot work. And what it does is it ensures that able bodied Americans who can work 20 hours a week are actually doing so, and that will therefore strengthen and protect those benefits for Americans who need it, as well as cutting out the waste, fraud and abuse, as well as getting 1.4 million illegal aliens off of the program,” Leavitt told reporters.

“So all of those measures are actually going to protect it for those who need it. That’s the President’s position, and that’s what this bill does, and that’s why Republicans need to vote for it and get it to the President’s desk.”

The House is scheduled to meet on Wednesday to vote on the final version of the bill as passed by the Senate.

However, it is unclear how many Republicans plan to oppose the bill due to the changes made during the Senate’s debate.

Senator Tillis on Sunday announced he won’t seek reelection after President Trump scorched him in a series of Truth Social posts late Saturday night.

On Saturday evening Tillis voted ‘no’ to advance President Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’ He said he will also vote no on the final passage.

President Trump went off on Senator Thom Tillis (NC) after he voted against advancing Trump’s reconciliation bill.

“Looks like Senator Thom Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the Nation that he’s giving them a 68% Tax Increase, as opposed to the Biggest Tax Cut in American History! At the same time, he is unable to understand the importance of a Debt Extension, which Republicans gave to the Democrats just prior to the November 5th Election, because of its significance, and how important it was for the future of the U.S.A. Sadly, the Democrat Politicians probably won’t reciprocate on a Debt Extension because they’re nasty people who actually hate our Country. Tillis is also willing to throw the very important Tobacco Industry in North Carolina, “out the window,” for reasons nobody seems to understand. He loves China made windmills that will cost a fortune, ruin the landscape, and produce the most expensive Energy on Earth. Trump followed up by saying he will help primary Tillis.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said.

Apparently Tillis caved THE NIGHT Trump scorched him!

Tillis called President Trump and Majority Leader Thune on Saturday night and informed them he wouldn’t be running for reelection.

“I slept like a baby last night,” Tillis said.

WaPo Publishes Leaked US-Intercepted Communication Between Iranian Officials Downplaying Strikes on Nuclear Sites – White House Responds

Another day, another leak.

The Washington Post, published a US-intercepted communication between Iranian officials downplaying strikes on nuclear sites.

This is the second intel leak related to the US’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

“The United States obtained intercepted communication between senior Iranian officials discussing this month’s military strikes on Iran’s nuclear program and remarking that the attack was less devastating than they had expected, per four sources,” the Washington Post reported.

WaPo: “The communication, intended to be private, included Iranian government officials speculating as to why the strikes directed by Trump were not as destructive and extensive as they anticipated, per sources.”

The White House responded to the latest leak.

“It’s shameful that the Washington Post is helping people commit felonies by publishing out of context leaks. The notion that unnamed Iranian officials know what happened under hundreds of feet of rubble is nonsense. Their nuclear weapons program is over,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

The Washington Post reported:

The United States obtained intercepted communication between senior Iranian officials discussing this month’s U.S. military strikes on Iran’s nuclear program and remarking that the attack was less devastating than they had expected, said four people familiar with the classified intelligence circulating within the U.S. government.

The communication, intended to be private, included Iranian government officials speculating as to why the strikes directed by President Donald Trump were not as destructive and extensive as they had anticipated, these people said. Like some others, they spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.

The intercepted signals intelligence is the latest preliminary information offering a more complicated picture than the one conveyed by the president, who has said the operation “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program.

The Trump administration did not dispute the existence of the intercepted communication, which has not been previously reported, but strenuously disagreed with the Iranians’ conclusions and cast doubt on their ability to assess the damage at the three nuclear facilities targeted in the U.S. operation.

The FBI is investigating the leaker of the ‘top secret’ intel assessment report on the US’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

A ‘Top Secret’ Intelligence assessment about the US’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites was leaked to CNN, and CNN disclosed it on live TV last Tuesday.

President Trump on Saturday evening announced that the US had dropped bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump said on Truth Social on Saturday.

President Trump said bunker-busting bombs totally obliterated the Fordow nuclear plant.

Satellite images of the Fordow plant showed the ‘before and after’ following Operation Midnight Hammer.

Last Tuesday, a ‘top secret’ intel assessment of the Fordow plant was leaked to CNN, AP, and the New York Times.

CNN reported that, according to a leak, an early assessment from the Pentagon’s intelligence arm revealed Iran’s nuclear sites are ‘largely intact’ and the US strikes only set them back a few months.

A leak to the AP also claimed that Iran’s nuclear program was not ‘completely and fully obliterated.’

Democrat Infighting: Hakeem Jeffries Demands Socialist NYC Mayoral Candidate Mamdani ‘Clarify’ Defense of Genocidal ‘Intifada’ Chant

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is putting public pressure on socialist NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani to clarify his position on the use of the genocidal phrase “globalize the intifada.”

Mamdani has not been shy about his criticism of Israel. In a June 2025 interview on The Bulwark podcast, when asked if the phrase made him uncomfortable, he declined to condemn it. Instead, he argued that it reflects “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights” for Palestinians.

Despite being given ample opportunities to clarify his position, Mandani has refused.

On ABC’s Sunday episode of ‘This Week,’ Jeffries chided Mamdani.

“Globalizing the intifada, by way of example, is not an acceptable phrasing,” Jeffries said.

“He’s going to have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward,” he continued.

“With respect to the Jewish communities that I represent, I think our nominee is going to have to convince folks that he is prepared to aggressively address the rise in antisemitism in the city of New York, which has been an unacceptable development,” he added.

On Sunday, Mamdani joined Kristen Welker on NBC’s Meet the Press and had an opportunity to again distance himself from the controversy, but chose not to.

Welker: I’ll give you an opportunity to respond, here and now, do you condemn that phrase, ‘Globalize the Intifada’?

Mamdani: That’s not language that I use. The language that I use and the language that I will continue to use to lead this city is that which speaks clearly to my intent, which is an intent grounded in a belief in universal human rights.

And ultimately, that’s what is the foundation of so much of my politics, the belief that freedom and justice and safety are things that to have meaning have to be applied to all people, and that includes Israelis and Palestinians.

Welker: But do you actually condemn it? I think that’s the question and the outstanding issue that a number of people, both of the Jewish faith and beyond, have. Do you condemn that phrase, globalize the intifada, which a lot of people hear as a call to violence against Jews?

Mamdani: I’ve heard from many Jewish New Yorkers who have shared their concerns with me, especially in light of the horrific attacks that we saw in Washington, DC, and in Boulder, Colorado, about this moment of anti-Semitism in our country and in our city. I’ve heard those fears, and I’ve had those conversations, and ultimately, they are part and parcel of why, in my campaign, I’ve put forward a commitment to increase funding for anti-hate crime programming by 800%. I don’t believe that the role of the mayor is to police speech in the manner, especially of that of Donald Trump, who has put one New Yorker in jail who’s just returned to his family, Mahmoud Khalil, for that very supposed crime of speech.

Ultimately, what I think I need to show is the ability to not only talk about something, but to tackle it and to make clear that there’s no room for anti-Semitism in this city. We have to root out that bigotry, and ultimately we do that through the actions. And that is the mayor I will be, one that protects Jewish New Yorkers and lives up to that commitment through the work that I do.

Welker: But quickly, for the people who care about the language and who feel really concerned by that phrase, why not just condemn it?

Mamdani: My concern is to start to walk down the line of language and making clear what language I believe is permissible or impermissible takes me into a place similar to that of the President who is looking to do those very kinds of things, putting people in jail for writing an op-ed, putting them in jail for protesting. Ultimately, it’s not language that I use. It’s language I understand there are concerns about. And what I will do is showcase my vision for the city through my words and my actions.

The leading House Dem is urging the New York socialist to explain his refusal to condemn the chant, which has been associated with violent uprisings against Israel.

“Globalizing the intifada, by way of example, is not an acceptable phrasing,” Jeffries (D-NY) told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. The term “intifada” means uprising.

“He’s going to have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward,” the Brooklyn Democrat continued.

Santos Cerdán, Socialist Ally of Embattled Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Held in Pre-Trial Detention During Corruption Probe

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s minority government continues to face rough waters as multiple corruption scandals plague the family and close allies of the embattled socialist leader.

Today, the situation has worsened considerably, as Spanish Supreme Court judge Puente remanded ex-senior ruling Socialist Party official Santos Cerdán to be held in pre-trial detention, as part of an explosive corruption inquiry.

Reuters reported:

“The Cerdán case is the latest and most serious in a series of scandals that have left Sanchez having to apologize and fend off calls from opponents for a snap election.

Judge Leopoldo Puente is investigating allegations against Cerdán, former Transport Minister Jose Luis Abalos and the latter’s aide Koldo Garcia that they received kickbacks for awarding public works contracts.”

The multiple corruption scandals also involve Sánchez wife, Begoña Gómez (right), and his brother.

The incarcerated Cerdán was a big-wig in the Socialist hierarchy, until a string of credible allegations made him resign from his post as third-ranking party official and lawmaker.

“His resignation followed a statement from Puente citing ‘strong evidence’ of Cerdán’s possible involvement in the ‘improper awarding’ of contracts.

Puente said in a court document seen by Reuters that the former official could face charges including membership of a criminal organization, bribery and influence peddling.”

Cerdán was denied bail, with the judge expressing concerns ‘he might destroy or hide evidence’, and stating that ‘he is a flight risk’.

“The case is based on recordings spanning years, seized from Garcia’s home, which Puente said appeared to be authentic despite the defendants arguing that their voices had been manipulated. The judge said it appeared that Cerdan was the leader.”

AOC is officially in serious hot legal water with the Trump Administration for her open defiance of immigration law on two occasions.

Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on the Benny Johnson show on Monday and announced that the notorious New York congresswoman was under investigation for two crimes: employing an illegal alien on her staff and helping other illegals evade ICE.

“It’s being looked at (AOC employing illegal alien), can’t comment past that,” Homan responded. “I’m aware of it, we’ve asked ICE to drill in on that case.”

“As far as her educating people how to evade ICE arrests, she’s really educating them on how to avoid prosecution,” he continued. “Because there are statutes on the books when you knowingly hinder your removal, that’s a crime.”

“We have instructed ICE to start prosecuting these cases.”

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Homan announced on Fox News’s “Ingraham Angle” back in February that he had sent an email to the Deputy Attorney General asking the department to investigate AOC. This came after AOC proudly announced that she was holding webinars to teach illegal aliens how to avoid ICE agents in New York City.

“At what level is that impediment?” Homan asked. “I’m not an attorney… Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts?”

“If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? I’m working with the Department of Justice and finding out where is that line that they cross.”

In addition, The Gateway Pundit reported back in March Diego de la Vega, an illegal alien who worked for AOC as a deputy communications director after serving on her campaign in 2021, decided that he no longer felt safe living in America and decided to self-deport to Colombia.

De la Vega’s self-deportation came in December, one month after President Trump won the presidential election in November. Since Trump took office, border crossings have dropped to levels not seen in 25 years.

For her part, AOC had only positive things to say about De la Vega.

“Diego is amazing,” Ocasio-Cortez told Migrant Insider. “We love him.”
