President Trump Responds to Elon Musk Creating His Own Political Party: ‘I Think it’s Ridiculous’ (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump has responded to Elon Musk creating a new political party, saying, “I think it’s ridiculous.”

Trump was asked about Musk’s effort on Sunday, just hours after the X owner formally filed a statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission to launch his “America Party,” as The Gateway Pundit reported earlier in the day.

“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party,” Trump said. “We have a tremendous success with the Republican Party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it’s always been a two-party system, and I think starting a third party just adds confusion.”

Trump noted that third parties have “never worked.”

“So, he can have fun with it, but I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump concluded.

Musk’s party has already received fierce mockery online as the treasurer and custodian of records for the “America Party” was revealed to be Vaibhav Taneja, an Indian man who has served as Tesla’s Chief Financial Officer since August 2023. Musk was born in South Africa.

Musk claims the America Party will serve as a centrist force, targeting two or three Senate seats and eight to ten House districts to act as a deciding vote on contentious laws. He claims it will represent the “80% in the middle,” referring to voters who are disillusioned with both Democrats and Republicans. However, specifics on its platform remain vague. He has hinted at themes prioritizing debt reduction, deregulation, and tech innovation — all of which would benefit him.

The day before the filing, Musk wrote, “One way to execute on this would be to laser-focus on just 2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts.”

“Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people,” Musk continued.

The tension between Trump and Musk boiled over in early June when the X owner criticized the One Big Beautiful Bill legislation on his social media platform, prompting the president to fire back by labeling Musk a “big-time drug addict” and hinting at his ketamine use for depression. Trump also threatened to slash billions in federal contracts and subsidies for Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, a move that sent Tesla’s stock plunging 14% in a single day.

Musk retaliated by suggesting Trump’s impeachment, alleging without evidence that Trump’s name appears in unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files, and even threatening to decommission SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft, though he later backed off.

The party’s registration with the FEC was filed on July 6, 2025, listing its headquarters at 1 Rocket Road, Hawthorne, California, the address of Musk’s SpaceX.

Musk is named as the sole candidate, although, as a South African-born citizen, he is ineligible to run for president.

Florida Rep. Debie Wasserman Schultz has said that mass deportations are part of President Trump and his advisor Stephen Miller’s plan to “bleach” America of foreigners.

During an appearance on MSNBC on Sunday, the Congresswoman and former chair of the Democratic National Commitee weighed in on the recent passing of the “Big, Beautiful Bill” and the billions of dollars it provides for immigration enforcement.

Schultz said:

Again, more Trump lies, more people being thrown into a dire situation where many of them will ultimately die when they’re deported back to countries like Venezuela and Haiti, which clearly don’t have conditions in which it is safe or a place that has the environment to take people back.

In Haiti, that is a country that is overrun by gangs and essentially is a failed state, and in Venezuela, you have the Maduro regime, which is a narco state. I mean, Maduro is under federal indictment here in the United States.

How could it possibly be safe to send 500,000 Venezuelans when he revoked their humanitarian parole and TPS from Venezuelans and from half a million Haitians? This is a situation in which they want to bleach America. You heard what Miller said. He is a vile human being.

What they’re doing in the Everglades on incredibly sensitive land, environmentally sensitive land that was so sensitive that in the 1970s, they abandoned the plan to put a huge airport on that property.

They are violating sacred tribal lands—no consultation with the Miccosukees. We’re in the middle of hurricane season. Look at that infrastructure that you’re showing right now that will blow away like matchsticks if a hurricane comes, and they’re either going to waste money on trying to rush through an evacuation, or people are going to die.

Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Silence on 29-Year-Old Manager Sophia Hutchins’ Sudden Death

Caitlyn Jenner has responded to the death of 29-year-old manager and friend, Sophia Hutchins, who was also transgender.

Hutchins was killed in what law enforcement has said was a high-speed ATV accident near Jenner’s home on Wednesday, which led to the socialite plunging 350 feet down a cliff.

The Daily Mail caught up with Jenner, who had not publicly commented about Hutchins’ death.

The Mail reports:

Hutchins, like Jenner, was transgender and cited the father-of-six as the inspiration for coming out in college back in 2016.

Hours after the fatal accident, Jenner, 75, looked somber in Malibu on Thursday, marking the first time she had been seen in public since the tragedy – before exclusively telling DailyMail.com she was going through ‘tough times’ navigating the loss of Hutchins.

The reality star hid her eyes behind dark shades and wore a blue shirt and shorts for the low-key outing.

Putting on a brave face, she was seen waving at photographers before heading back to her $3.5million Malibu mansion.

The star later said ‘I don’t want to talk’ about the tragedy.

Hutchins moved in with Jenner in 2017.

There was long speculation about whether the two influential transgender icons were in a relationship. Still, Hutchins told The New York Times in 2019 that their relationship was more like that of a parent and child.

“Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,” Hutchins said.

The Mail report also noted, “The tragedy comes nine years after Jenner was involved in a fatal car crash while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.”

“The collision involved four cars and resulted in the death of Kim Howe, 70,” the report continued. “Jenner was not charged in the crash, but an investigation by the LA County Sheriff’s Office determined that Caitlyn was driving too fast. That opened her up to blame in civil lawsuits, which was later settled out of court.”

Anti White Legislation Proposed in California Taps University System For Verifying Student Reparations

According to Campus Reform, The California State University system “could soon be required to verify whether students descend from enslaved Americans under a bill advancing in the state legislature.”

The bill known as 437 advanced in the Senate authored by state Senator Akilah Weber directed CSU to establish a process by which genealogical eligibility for reparations could be verified.

The bill passed in the Senate and was now set for a hearing in the Assembly. As Campus Reform points out “while the bill does not mandate that CSU directly implement reparations screening, Weber’s office told Campus Reform that the university system would help develop methods the state could use to verify lineage.”

CSU as of now has not put out an official statement about these proposed reparations. S.B 437 is part of a full package of reparations-related legislation.

Sadly, California is not alone in their reparations as part of so called ‘higher education’. In 2022 Harvard pledged $100 million to a “Legacy of Slavery” fund.

This was not enough for Howard University’s Knight Chair of race and Journalism who argued this was insufficient and told The New York Times magazine “A true investment would be hundreds of millions more,”

This is proof yet again that the race hustlers will never be satisfied no matter what crazy initiatives liberal universities take.

Reparations are clearly a bad and fundamentally unjust idea.

Harvard like CSU is pandering and engaging in prejudiced behavior and yet despite this its still not enough for some.

Ultimately Americans overwhelmingly agree reparations are unfair and predjucial. This proposal would be cruel and unAmerican.

American universities must be purged of DEI and racial division.

Oklahoma RINO Senator James Lankford Claims His Open Border Bill with Biden Would Have Outperformed Trump’s Border Crackdown

Oklahoma RINO Senator James Lankford went on CBS and proudly defended his disastrous open borders bill that he co-authored with the Biden White House, claiming it would’ve been more effective than President Trump’s iron-fisted border enforcement.

Lankford, who faced a massive grassroots backlash last year for attempting to ram through a pro-amnesty, pro-cartel border deal with Democrats, is now telling Major Garrett that America would be “better off” today if his surrender document had passed.

It can be recalled that the Oklahoma County GOP censured Senator James Lankford for his role in a controversial border security deal that has failed to gain traction.

According to information obtained by FOX News reporter Bill Melugin, the deal included:

  • Mandatory detention of all single adults.
  • Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry per day, and roughly 3,600 illegal crossings per day.
  • How is that enforced? Once the 5,000 threshold is hit, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they catch without processing. They would not get to request asylum, they would immediately be removed. This includes removals back to Mexico, and deportations to home countries. This would be a *massive* change from current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant reaches US soil, they must be processed via Title 8 and allowed to claim asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and they are mandatorily immediately removed once the “shut down” threshold is reached.
  • This “shut down” also takes effect is there are 8,500 migrant encounters in a single day.
  • The “shut down” would not lift the next day. It wouldn’t lift until daily encounters are reduced to under 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means the “shut down” authority would not lift until two weeks of an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day.
  • Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, ankle monitors etc).
  • New removal authority to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the years long process we have right now.
  • Any migrant caught trying to cross twice during “shut down” phase would be banned from entering US for one year.
  • US will need agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non-Mexican illegal immigrants. This hasn’t been ironed out yet.

Lankford denied these claims and insisted that the legislation’s ultimate goal is to reduce illegal crossings to zero, claiming that there is no amnesty involved and that the bill would bolster border patrol resources, increase detention capacities, and streamline the asylum process to ensure swift deportations.

During the interview, Lankford even had the gall to suggest that his border bill — which would have codified catch-and-release, issued work permits to asylum claimants, and allowed 5,000 illegals in per day before enforcement kicked in — somehow would have reduced illegal crossings.

Major Garrett:
Looking back on the compromise you forged on immigration, do you think we’d be better off if that had happened, or are we better off now that it didn’t happen and we just have a different president?

James Lankford:
We do have a different president that’s using the same law that’s been there for decades and actually enforcing it, and we’re seeing very different outcomes. Thinking about the bill that passed—it should have passed. It would have fixed a lot of the loopholes there in the law, and it would have been easier to be able to do enforcement now.

Because one of the challenges that we have is, our asylum laws do include a lot of loopholes in them that cartels have exploited for years. They’ve become experts in exploiting our law because it’s billions of dollars of income to them when they can find those loopholes and gaps.

I heard a commentator just last week saying, “The courts are challenging these different ways that President Trump is enforcing the law. Somebody needs to bring up a bill.”

True story—somebody needs to bring up a bill to be able to close some of these loopholes. And it was a conservative commentator that was saying it, and I laughed, and I thought, I know somebody that brought one of them. I know a guy, and I know a bill that could do that.

Now, was the bill everything that I wanted? No. I was negotiating with the Democrat White House at the time to be able to get it done. But many of the areas that we need to close the loopholes were in that bill. Some form of that, we will eventually get done.

According to the White House, not a single illegal immigrant was released into the U.S. interior by Border Patrol in May, the New York Post reports.

“Border Patrol agents didn’t release a single migrant into the US last month — a staggering drop after the Biden administration allowed 62,000 illegal crossers in the country in May 2024, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Agents caught 8,725 migrants crossing illegally at the southern border last month. That’s a 93% decrease from May 2024, when 117,905 were nabbed, according to internal data obtained by The Post.

And Acting Customs and Border Protection commissioner Pete Flores said it’s a result of the Trump administration’s tough border policies.”

Fired MSNBC host Joy Reid suggested on her new YouTube show that Democrats could denaturalize and deport Melania Trump if her party comes back into power.

Reid also suggested deporting the president’s children during her interview with Democrat Squad member Rep. Pramila Jayapal on Thursday.

The duo was discussing comments made by President Donald Trump during his visit to Alligator Alcatraz in Florida last week. He stated that he is open to deporting American citizens.

“They’re not new to our country. They’re old to our country. Many of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here, too, if you want to know the truth,” he said. “So maybe that will be the next job.”

Mediaite reports, “His remarks followed a memo issued by a lawyer for the Department of Justice, which gives U.S. Attorneys broad discretion over whether to initiate denaturalization proceedings against criminal defendants. This week, Trump also threatened New York Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, who, the president baselessly alleged, may be ‘here illegally.’ Mahmdani, who is a Muslin of South Asian descent, was born in Uganda.”

Reid took issue with Trump’s comments and suggested that the First Lady could be targeted “if we ever get a Democratic president.”

“If you give the president of the United States monarchical-like powers to say, ‘I don’t like your views, I don’t like your take on issues, I don’t that you’re too liberal, you’re not conservative enough, I’m just gonna take away your naturalized citizenship,’ well… if we ever get a Democratic president, they could say, ‘I don’t like Melania Trump. She wasn’t born here. She was born in Slovenia. She is a naturalized citizen. She’s outta here.’”

Reid also took aim at the president’s children and their late mother.

“And by the way, Ivana Trump, the late Ivana Trump, who’s buried in the golf course in New Jersey in Donald Trump’s golf club, she wasn’t an American citizen. And three of her children are Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka,” Reid said.

The far-left YouTuber continued, “And maybe the next Democratic president says, ‘You know what? I don’t like the Trumps. And so we’re gonna denaturalize all of the Trump children, whose mother was a foreigner at the time.’”

Reid also noted that Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s grandfather had been ordered to be deported to Cuba, but did not go.

“This opens a huge door, Congresswoman, because that means that any future president can decide that they don’t like the Trumps and don’t want them here and want Melania gone. And they could just denaturalize and deport her, and she’d be outta here.”

Texas Flood Death Toll Reaches 79, Expected to Continue Climbing — 11 people from Camp Mystic Still Missing

The death toll from the flood along the Guadalupe River Basin in Texas has climbed to 79 as of July 6, with 10 girls and one counselor from Camp Mystic still missing.

At least 28 of the deceased have been confirmed to be children.

The New York Times reported on Sunday:

“The death toll rose to 79 and dozens remained unaccounted for, including 10 girls from a summer camp on the river.”

Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said, “22 of those found dead had not yet been identified, including four children,” according to a live blog from the New York Times.

Hundreds of rescuers were still searching through Sunday afternoon, as rain continued to pour down in the already devastated areas of Kerr County.

Gov. Greg Abbott called the situation “nothing short of horrific” during a press conference on Sunday afternoon. He said authorities continue “searching for every single one of the children who were at Camp Mystic as well as anybody else in the entire river bed.”

Abbott also warned that there may be additional flash floods in the Concho Valley and near Kerrville over the next 24-48 hours.

“If you’re in any of those areas, you need to realize you’re in an area that is already saturated with water,” the governor said.

In the early morning of July 4, the disaster unfolded rapidly after a storm system dumped 5–11 inches of rain in just a few hours, with some areas near Hunt recording up to 20.33 inches.

The Guadalupe River surged to its second-highest level on record, rising 26 feet in 45 minutes and peaking at 29 feet, surpassing even the infamous 1987 flood.

The suddenness of the flood caught residents and officials off guard, as the National Weather Service’s Thursday advisory had failed to predict the extreme rainfall’s intensity.

At Camp Mystic, where nearly 750 girls were staying, the floodwaters ravaged cabins near the river. Families of the missing girls posted photos and phone numbers on social media, asking people to pray for miracles. Unfortunately, at least 11 campers under nine years old were among the victims who did not make it out.

Over 850 people have been rescued, many of whom were clinging to trees or stranded in isolated areas, with rescuers in helicopters and boats playing a critical role.

One reporter asked the president about the chaos and violence in the nation’s capital. A congressional intern was shot and killed in Washington DC last week. Eric Tarpinian-Jachym was interning for a MAGA Republican when he was shot and killed by a stray bullet last Monday.

There were new warnings issued on Sunday afternoon in South Central Texas following the dangerous flooding on Friday that killed at least 70 individuals.

Flooding swept through Kerrville, Texas, on Friday. On July 4th, the Quadelupe River surged from less than two feet to more than 34 feet in just over an hour.

Two little girls were rescued on Sunday after they were seen clinging to a tree 30-feet up. The girls had been in the tree for two days before their rescue.

On Sunday the Texas Emergency Management Chief announced that an additional wall of water was heading towards Kerrville, Texas.

And CNN reported that local officials have warned a wall of water is rushing down the Guadalupe River in central Texas.

The area in question is circled in red in this Texas map of lakes and rivers.
