Musical Comedy About Accused Murderer Luigi Mangione Planning Tour After Selling Out in San Francisco

As the Gateway Pundit reported back in May, a theater company in San Francisco created a musical comedy show about accused murderer Luigi Mangione.

Not only did the show do well, it sold out repeatedly and now the creators want to take the show on the road to other cities.

It’s positively sickening that some people on the left turn into teenage fangirls over such a despicable human being.

The satirical musical about alleged United Healthcare CEO murderer Luigi Mangione and his time in prison with Sean “Diddy” Combs and Sam Bankman-Fried may be going on tour.

Luigi: The Musical has reportedly been selling out shows in San Francisco and now wants to open in new cities. The musical bills itself as a “satirical prison comedy inspired by the bizarre true story of three high-profile inmates housed together at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.”

“Part comedy, part social commentary, Luigi: The Musical reimagines larger-than-life public figures as exaggerated characters representing three disillusioned pillars of American life: healthcare, Hollywood, and tech,” it says on its website.

“There is this interesting thing that these three men represent three pillars of society that people have lost a lot of trust in in recent years, including health care, Hollywood and the whole tech/VC/finance ecosystem,” said Nova Bradford, head writer and director of the show. “And so what we want to explore more with the show is not about the individual actions of these actual people, but more so the place that these figures are occupying in the public consciousness and what it means about us when we’ve lost so much trust in institutions that are supposed to support us.”

This is just sickening.

Mangione shot an innocent man in the back. Why is this theater group glorifying him with this show? Talk about poor taste.

President Trump to Visit Federal Reserve Thursday

The White House announced Wednesday night that President Donald Trump will visit the Federal Reserve headquarters in Washington, D.C. Thursday afternoon.

The visit comes as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is under pressure by the Trump administration and Congressional Republicans on two fronts: His refusal to lower interest rates and the $2.5 billion renovation of the Fed’s headquarters.

Semafor White House reporter Shelby Talcott reported several administration officials will accompany Trump:

“New: TRUMP will join tomorrow’s visit to the Federal Reserve. Others attending include James Blair, Russ Vought, and Bill Pulte, as we previously reported”

The Trump administration has been stiff-armed by the Fed on being allowed to personally inspect the renovation project.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Chairman Bill Pulte, who has been calling for Powell’s resignation, spoke about the Fed’s renovation project with Fox News host Laura Ingraham Tuesday night.

Chairman of the Board of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Bill Pulte, on Tuesday evening said two more criminal referrals related to Fed’s multibillion dollar renovations were issued.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell is under fire for the cost of renovating the Fed’s DC headquarters. The cost ballooned from $1.9 billion to $2.5 billion.

Bill Pulte was on site to review the ongoing renovations at the Fed’s headquarters in DC and he said he only saw six construction workers.

Pulte told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that the construction workers were tearing down marble and steel.

…Jerome Powell has been criminally referred to the Justice Department for prosecution this week.

On Monday GOP Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna sent a letter to the DOJ accusing Powell of perjury.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent spoke with Ingraham Wednesday about Powell, saying that President Trump will likely announce a successor to Powell by the end of the year for when his term ends next May:

The people who helped to push the Russia collusion hoax are getting nervous, and they probably should be. Tulsi Gabbard has made it quite clear that she is not playing around on this.

Former DNI, James Clapper, appeared on CNN with Kaitlan Collins this week and told her that he has already ‘lawyered up.’

That’s probably a good idea.

Of course, Clapper is as defiant as ever in the segment insisting that he did nothing wrong.

Collins asks him if he has concerns that the Trump administration will prosecute him and he responds by saying, “I don’t know of an intelligence product that was more scrutinized, more investigated than that product was by numerous people. It’s very disconcerting, it really is, and I take seriously when the President of the United States accuses me of being a participant in a treasonous conspiracy, which is ridiculous.”

NEW: Appeals Court Says Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Executive Order Unconstitutional

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday said President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order is unconstitutional.

In a 2-1 ruling, the appeals court upheld a nationwide injunction against Trump’s order.

The three-judge panel included: Majority: Judge Gould (Clinton), Judge Hawkins (Clinton) – Dissent: Judge Bumatay (Trump).

“The district court correctly concluded that the Executive Order’s proposed interpretation, denying citizenship to many persons born in the United States, is unconstitutional. We fully agree,” the majority wrote.

The appeals court decision comes after the Supreme Court limited lower courts’ ability to issue nationwide injunctions.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday issued another major blow to President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, ruling that it’s unconstitutional and upholding a nationwide block against the controversial policy.

The 2-1 ruling from the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals is significant because the Supreme Court late last month ordered lower courts to take a second look at a set of nationwide injunctions issued earlier this year that halted Trump’s implementation of his Day One order to ensure they weren’t broader than necessary.

The San Francisco-based appeals court decided that one such injunction issued by a federal judge in Seattle in a case brought by a group of Democratic-led states did not represent a judicial overreach that needed to be reined in.

Four federal judges have blocked President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order.

According to President Trump’s order, the 14th Amendment is being misinterpreted by the left to give citizenship to ‘anchor babies.’

“It is the policy of the United States that no department or agency of the United States government shall issue documents recognizing United States citizenship, or accept documents issued by State, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize United States citizenship, to persons: (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States was lawful but temporary, and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth,” Trump’s order stated.

Trump’s order argued the 14th Amendment has always excluded babies born to people in the US illegally.

“[The] Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States. The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Consistent with this understanding, the Congress has further specified through legislation that “a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is a national and citizen of the United States at birth, 8 U.S.C. 1401, generally mirroring the Fourteenth Amendment’s text,” the order stated.

Tarlov was trying to basically pull a ‘but her emails!’ over the shocking new details in the Russiagate hoax while hyping Epstein stories, as if that topic is more important.

Greg cut her off in what seemed like a genuinely unplanned moment and read her the riot act.

GUTFELD: No, let me finish. We had to take this story seriously for years, and it was false.

TARLOV: It wasn’t false.

GUTFELD: No, no, for people to understand what happened, all right, because the problem with this story is that nobody knows what you’re talking about.

When Trump won in 2016 the intel community concluded that Russia didn’t have a hand in his victory. Instead of accepting the conclusion, Obama determined and wanted a new conclusion, so he sent Brennan running to come up with a new collusion, that there was some kind of trivial involvement that then they could feed out to the media, and coincidentally, dozens of news organizations said that Trump was in bed with Putin and that somehow Brennan knew Brennan knew. How did he know? There was no proof. There was no nothing. There was no proof.

TARLOV: Why did Brennan do nothing?

GUTFELD: No, let me finish. They amplified a false conclusion that Trump colluded with Russia in 2016 we had to spend years dealing with that, and now we’re actually getting investigation, and you’re saying, “No, you know what, you guys should just move on. You guys should just move on.” You say the same effing thing about Biden’s brain. You guys spent four years telling us that Joe Biden was fine. You covered up for an invalid. And then when we get the truth, it’s like, “Oh, you know what? It’s time. We got to look forward. We got to start talking about what’s there.”

MSNBC Contributor Goes Full Drama Queen Over Colbert Cancelation: ‘Really Scary’ (VIDEO)

People on the left truly seem to live in an alternate universe. During a recent segment on MSNBC, contributor Molly Jong-Fast reacted to the Colbert cancelation by saying that it’s ‘really scary.’

It’s scary that a TV show got canceled? That happens all the time. In this case, the show in question was losing tens of millions of dollars a year.

She actually goes on and compares this situation to the McCarthy anti-communism hearings. This isn’t even remotely similar to that but she takes herself and her words so seriously.

“And even if it’s not quid pro quo, the idea of self-censorship. And I talk about my grandfather, Howard Fast, who was jailed by McCarthy during The House UN-American Activities, that that our government has done this before, that history is very much filled with moments like this.”

LEAK: Pentagon Inspector General Has ‘Evidence’ Hegseth Signal Chat Included Classified Information From Central Command – Pentagon Spox Responds

Another day, another leak.

CNN and The Washington Post on Wednesday reported that sources say the Pentagon Inspector General has ‘evidence’ that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s Signal chat included classified information from Central Command.

The Pentagon Inspector General expanded his investigation into Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s use of the double-encrypted app Signal in May.

Steven Stebbins took over as Acting Inspector General after President Trump fired the previous IG and 17 other inspectors general.

Stebbins was first appointed to his position in 2015.

Pete Hegseth has been under heavy attack since before his confirmation hearing and the leaks keep coming.

The Pentagon Inspector General expanded his probe following The Wall Street Journal’s reporting on Hegseth’s wife and brother participating in Signal chat groups.

Pete Hegseth was blamed for not noticing Jeffrey Goldberg was added to the Signal chat group with other high-level Trump Administration officials.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell responded to the latest leak in a statement to CNN: “This Signal narrative is so old and worn out, it’s starting to resemble Joe Biden’s mental state. The Department stands behind its previous statements: no classified information was shared via Signal. As we’ve said repeatedly, nobody was texting war plans and the success of the Department’s recent operations–from Operation Rough Rider to Operation Midnight Hammer–are proof that our operational security and discipline are top notch.”

CNN reported:

The Pentagon’s inspector general has received evidence that the military plans shared from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s Signal account to a group chat earlier this year were taken from a US Central Command document that was marked classified at the time, according to two people familiar with the ongoing review.

The Pentagon watchdog, which launched a review in April of Hegseth’s use of the commercial messaging app to share information related to US military operations in Yemen, obtained the document in the early days of its investigation, the sources said. The document was marked Secret/NOFORN, meaning no foreign nationals should see it.

The IG’s possession of the document with its original classification markings appears to further undercut Hegseth’s claims that nothing classified was shared in the Signal chat, which included several other Cabinet members and Vice President JD Vance. Similar details were shared from Hegseth’s phone in a second Signal chat that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer, CNN has reported.

The latest leak comes after it was reported there is a plot by a group of military officers and civilian Pentagon staff to force Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth out of office through a public pressure campaign.

Columbia University Caves to Trump, Will Pay More Than $220 Million to the Government in Settlement to Restore Federal Research Funding

The Donald J. Trump administration has brought the fight against the elite universities in the US that espoused DEI practices and were soft on combating antisemitism.

Trump cut $400 million in federal funding to Columbia University, accusing it of ignoring antisemitism during pro-Palestinian protests sparked by the Israel-Hamas conflict.

In his usual style, the president issued Columbia an ultimatum, demanding nine significant policy changes, including banning face masks during protests and disciplining students involved in demonstrations.

Under severe financial pressure, Columbia agreed to most of the administration’s demands by March 21, 2025, to negotiate the restoration of federal funding.

But today (23), Columbia University announced that it has reached a deal with the Trump administration to pay more than $220 million to the federal government.

They aim to restore federal research money that was canceled.

Associated Press reported:

“Under the agreement, the Ivy League school will pay the $200 million settlement over three years to the federal government, the university said. It will also pay $21 million to settle investigations brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

‘This agreement marks an important step forward after a period of sustained federal scrutiny and institutional uncertainty’, acting University President Claire Shipman said.”

Today’s agreement codifies the reforms made in response to the government’s demands.

“’Under today’s agreement, a vast majority of the federal grants which were terminated or paused in March 2025—will be reinstated and Columbia’s access to billions of dollars in current and future grants will be restored’, Columbia said in a statement.

[…] The announcement came one day after the university disciplined dozens of students over pro-Palestinian protests on campus.

In March, the Trump administration canceled grants and contracts worth about $400 million for the Ivy League school because of what it described as antisemitic harassment on and near the school’s New York City campus.”

JUST IN: Oversight Subcommittee Votes to Subpoena DOJ for Epstein Files

The House Oversight Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement voted on Wednesday to subpoena the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all of the Epstein files with three Republicans joining the Democrat motion.

This comes as President Trump asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the sealed grand jury transcripts.

I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval,” Trump announced over the weekend. “This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!”

Trump Releases Statement on DOJ’s Request for Grand Jury Testimony in Epstein Case: “Nothing will be Good Enough for the Troublemakers and Radical left Lunatics Making the Request”

On Wednesday, however, an Obama-appointed federal judge denied the Justice Department’s bid to unseal Jeffrey Epstein grand jury transcripts from a Florida investigation, the Gateway Pundit reported.

Now, a House Oversight subcommittee has voted on a motion to subpoena all of the records that have not been released by the Trump Administration.

Per CNN:

A House Oversight subcommittee voted Wednesday to subpoena the Department of Justice to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein. House Oversight Chair James Comer will be required to sign the subpoena before it can officially be issued, according to committee rules.

The motion to subpoena the Trump DOJ for all records related to the Epstein investigation passed, 8-2.

GOP Reps. Nancy Mace, Scott Perry and Brian Jack joined with the subpanel’s four Democrats and the full committee’s ranking member Robert Garcia to approve the subpoena in a defiant move of House GOP leadership that wanted to leave the handling of the Epstein files to the Trump administration.

Rep. Summer Lee, the subcommittee’s top Democrat, had offered the motion.

Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) will have to sign off on the subpoena to make it official.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House Oversight Committee also voted to subpoena Epstein-affiliate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-years sentence for recruiting and sex-trafficking underage girls for Epstein to groom and abuse.

Chairman Comer announced on Wednesday that he issued the subpoena for a deposition to occur at Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee on August 11, 2025.
