War Room’s Steve Bannon talked with precious metals specialist Phillip Patrick of the Birch Gold Group about banks increasing gold holdings over the US dollar.
“I want to start with just a basic question people ask me all of the time,” Bannon commented.
“How did we get here in a situation where gold goes from I don’t know, $1,100 bucks, couple years ago when we started this partnership of trying to explain to people about gold as a hedge. How did it get to $3,800? And what are the top financiers in the world seeing that’s driving gold almost sometimes like a stock, which is not traditionally how it moves. Can you walk us through that?” Bannon asked.
“This isn’t a new thing. Obviously, what we have been seeing since 2008, since 2020 has been unprecedented in terms of gold’s movement, but it started really growing at the turn of the century,” Patrick said.
Patrick explained that there was a direct connection in the growth of gold investments since the money supply was greatly increased during the early part of the century. It was a hedge against inflation.
“What’s interesting is what changed at the turn of the century. It’s when we started to massively increase the money supply,” Patrick said.
“There is a direct correlation between growth and debt, the money supply and growth in gold,” Patrick continued.
“Look what the Biden administration did. 8 trillion dollars of liquidity pumped through the markets in four years. It’s no surprise gold is moving at the level that it is,” Patrick continued.
Patrick explained that gold has been replacing the Euro and US Government debt for reserve assets in central banks. A majority of them are interested in a major increase in gold over the US dollar.
“Gold is now becoming slowly, the favored central bank reserve asset. I’ve mentioned before, it overtook the Euro last year. It’s now a larger share of global reserves than US Government debt,” Patrick explained.
“And now gold is really taking the place of certain fiat currencies. Folks, this is something you must understand because this is central to your financial security going forward,” Bannon said.
“Now the central banks are looking at this as almost the reserve currency. Are they not sir?” Bannon asked.
“It is clear to see, 73 percent of central banks that were surveyed said over the next five years, they were looking at massively increasing gold holdings and reducing US dollar holdings,” Patrick said.
Left-wing terrorism has hit a 30-year high, according to new research.
A study from the nonpartisan Center for Strategic and International Studies concluded that although right-wing violence has historically outnumbered left-wing terrorism, the pattern has now flipped.
In recent years, the United States has seen an increase in the number of left-wing terrorism attacks and plots, although such violence has risen from very low levels and remains much lower than historical levels of violence carried out by right-wing and jihadist attackers.
So far, 2025 marks the first time in more than 30 years that left-wing terrorist attacks outnumber those from the violent far right.
Despite its decline this year, right-wing terrorism could easily return to previous high levels. It is important to resource counterterrorism efforts against both right- and left-wing terrorism and work with communities to gain their support against extremists.
Leaders across the political spectrum must condemn violent extremism of all kinds, denying it legitimacy and reducing its appeal.
However, the authors go to great efforts to point out that far-right terrorism has been far more common, although it is unclear who they are defining under this label.
Many supposedly right-wing attacks are actually committed by individuals with highly distorted and inconsistent worldviews but are nevertheless blamed on the conservative movement.

The findings come weeks after the assassination of Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, who was brutally gunned down while hosting an event at Utah Valley University earlier this month.
Last week, President Trump finally designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.
“I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION,” he wrote at the time.
”I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices.”
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Sunday ordered two hundred Oregon National Guard troops to be put under federal control to protect ICE agents and facilities. The ICE facility in Portland used to process arrested illegal aliens has been the target of violent protests by Antifa terrorists all summer long, with the state and city governments refusing to help protect the facility or local residents who have been tormented and assaulted by Antifa.
Oregon’s attorney general immediately filed suit to block the federalization of the Guard troops.
The two hundred Oregon National Guard troops will be put under the command of Northern Command for a period of sixty days.
Hegseth’s orders came a day after President Donald Trump announced he was authorizing the deployment of troops to protect the Portland ICE facility.

“The facts cannot justify this overreach,” says the 41-page suit filed by the State of Oregon and City of Portland against Trump.
It notes that protests outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Portland have been small in recent weeks, typically drawing less than 30 people.
“Defendants’ heavy-handed deployment of troops threatens to escalate tensions and stokes new unrest,” the suit says.
Filed in federal court in Portland, it marks the latest legal challenge to Trump’s move to send troops into cities and asks a judge to bar Trump from any deployment of troops to Oregon.
The governor received an email notice at 9:32 a.m. Sunday that Trump had invoked Title 10 to deploy the National Guard to the city of Portland from the U.S. Department of War.
The attorney general’s office moved to file the suit as soon as possible and will be filing a temporary restraining order to try to block an arrival of troops.

The Trump administration is taking Michigan’s Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to court, accusing her of deliberately preventing them from accessing complete voter registration records.

On Thursday, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division announced the filing of federal lawsuits against six states — California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania for failure to produce their statewide voter registration lists upon request. The lawsuit against Benson was filed in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids, charging that she is violating federal law by stonewalling investigators and demanding that she be compelled to turn over the records.
Michigan residents have watched Secretary of State Benson mock efforts by state lawmakers and threaten citizens who ask for transparency in elections since 2020, all in an effort to shield her dirty rolls from scrutiny.
The statement from the DOJ reminds Americans about the importance of well-maintained voter rolls: “Clean voter rolls are the foundation of free and fair elections,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Every state has a responsibility to ensure that voter registration records are accurate, accessible, and secure — states that don’t fulfill that obligation will see this Department of Justice in court.”
“States are required to safeguard American elections by complying with our federal elections laws,” said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Clean voter rolls protect American citizens from voting fraud and abuse, and restore their confidence that their states’ elections are conducted properly, with integrity, and in compliance with the law.”
Yesterday, in response to the lawsuit against her, the defiant Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, mocked the DOJ’s demand for transparency, saying, “It’s important for every Michigander to understand what’s at stake here – the U.S. Justice Department is trying to get us to turn over the private, personal information of more than 8 million state residents. That includes people’s driver’s license numbers, Social Security numbers, and other personally identifiable information.” Benson called it an” illegal and unconstitutional power grab,” adding, “I told them they can’t have it.”
Perhaps someone should inform Jocelyn Benson that the government has access to the Social Security numbers of all American citizens. It’s not the American citizens who are legally registered to vote in Michigan that the DOJ is concerned about; it’s the ILLEGAL aliens and fake voters created during her 7 years in office that the DOJ is interested in reviewing.
This isn’t the first time Jocelyn Benson’s dirty voter rolls have been challenged. On October 22, 2024, Democrat U.S. District Judge Jane Beckering, who was appointed by the far-left former Governor Jennifer Granholm, ruled against the RNC in their lawsuit against SOS Benson and MI Bureau of Elections Director Jonathan Brater.
The lawsuit claimed that MI SOS Benson and BOE Director Brater/ former ERIC chair, failed to meet the requirements outlined in Section 8 of the NVRA, or National Voter Registration Act, which requires states to maintain clean and accurate voter registration records.
In her laughable ruling, the U.S. District judge stated that Republicans, who filed the lawsuit in March, did not provide sufficient evidence and lacked legal standing in their challenge.
On Friday, a stunning decision by a unanimous Sixth Circuit panel affirmed the District Court’s dismissal of the RNC’s case against Benson’s bloated voter rolls.
Benson, who has been on the losing side of multiple lawsuits since her election in 2022, has repeatedly snubbed lawmakers and citizens who’ve questioned what appears to be an intentional effort to keep voter data and voter registration data secret. In addition to her lack of transparency, Benson blatantly violates the law with made-up rules, such as instructing clerks in 2020 to ignore signature matching on absentee ballots during COVID lockdowns, which was responsible for a massive uptick in absentee voting. When she was caught violating campaign finance law by announcing her candidacy for governor in a government building, she shrugged it off. Unbelievably, it’s Jocelyn Benson’s office that is responsible for investigating campaign finance violations. If the Secretary of State is caught violating campaign finance law, the attorney general is supposed to investigate and make the appropriate charges against her, but as is typical in Michigan, the lawless Democrat AG Dana Nessel refused to hold her fellow elected Democrat official accountable.
Only months before the 2024 election, the Gateway Pundit rang the alarm about a plot by Democrats to register 1.7 million new UOCVA (Uniformed Officer and Civilian Voters Act) voters, that they like to refer to as “military” voters, so Americans don’t look too closely at the scheme to register millions of “voters” from overseas who don’t even have to prove they ever lived in the state of Michigan or that they’re American citizens. The Michigan Republican Party attorney, Mike Bishop, and the RNC filed charges against the MI SOS to stop the practice of allowing unvetted “overseas voters” from registering to vote and voting in our elections.
Of course, a liberal Governor Whitmer appointed judge dismissed the case. It was appealed by the RNC and was denied largely on procedural grounds (like laches and the timing of the challenge) rather than a full ruling on all merits.
Last month, Jocelyn Benson sent a letter to clerks, letting them know that she would be allowing overseas “NON-military” voters to use the most insecure form of voting available, online voting, beginning on September 14, 2025. Benson’s new, seemingly insane rule, in fact, was implemented on September 15, which allows unvetted “voters” from unknown locations to vote from their phones in Michigan’s general elections.
Will the DOJ be able to finally rein in Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, who has done so much to erode trust in elections, not just among Michigan voters, but among voters across America, who’ve been watching her actions go unchecked for seven years?

Kamala Harris took the stage at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Phoenix Awards Dinner in Washington, D.C., and decided it was the perfect time to fan the flames of leftist violence across America.
Harris painted a dystopian picture of America under conservative leadership, accusing the “extreme right wing” of hatching a “long-term agenda” that’s being “swiftly implemented today.”
She name-dropped Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, and Pat Buchanan as the architects of some grand conspiracy, while conveniently ignoring her own party’s history of corruption, election meddling, and weaponizing the government against political opponents.
Harris went on to attack President Trump, accusing him of lining his own pockets, cutting SNAP and Medicaid, “ending the war on cancer,” and even deploying the U.S. military to “the streets of America.”
Her words were filled with venom and contempt, not only for Trump, but for the millions of Americans who voted for him.
At one point, Harris glorified radical activists who “spoke with their pocketbooks” and cheered the return of leftist TV host Jimmy Kimmel.
She admitted Democrats “cannot allow” their opponents to frame the debate, and doubled down with her closing demand: “We must fight fire with fire.”

A time such as this demands that the leaders in this room remind the people of their power: speak truth and speak with courage, even when you don’t have an audience.
A time such as this demands that we win the midterms and enforce checks and balances on this unchecked, incompetent, unhinged president.
Yesterday, I joined a visiting student at my alma mater, Howard University. You know, when I was there, I remembered—when I was there, I found my power at 17.
When I was their age, Ronald Reagan was president. The extreme right wing was hatching the long-term agenda that is being swiftly implemented today—enhanced today by propaganda and misinformation.
And recall: they played the long game, working for decades to take over state houses, gerrymander districts, stack the Supreme Court, and create the radical blueprint currently being used by this administration.
As I have written, the current president is their vehicle. But the road was paved over decades by harsh and crushing rhetoric, right-wing celebrity, the belligerent discourse of Newt Gingrich, and the narrow-minded politics of Pat Buchanan.
CBC, we have some deep work to do. First, we must prioritize immediacy—focus on the immediate issues people face, like the rising cost of groceries, housing, and health care.
Second, we cannot allow them to gaslight us by suggesting that the powerless, and not the powerful, are responsible for our predicament.
Finally, please, let’s get over the savior complex—which is just one individual. Can you say it with me? Come on. Because, Democrats, we have so many stars. We have so many stars, and many of them are in this room right now.

Surveillance footage shows radical leftist arsonist Casey Robert Goonan igniting a UC Berkeley police vehicle with Molotov cocktails in June 2024.
35‐year-old Casey Robert Goonan has been sentenced to 235 months — nearly 19.6 years — in federal prison for a string of firebombing attacks targeting UC Berkeley and the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building in Oakland. The court formally designated him a “domestic terrorist.”
According to the plea agreement, Goonan admitted that in June 2024 he carried out a series of coordinated arsons and attempted firebombings.
On June 1, Goonan placed a bag containing six Molotov cocktails under the fuel tank of a marked University of California Police Department patrol car near the UC Berkeley campus, lit it, and fled. The vehicle caught fire.
On June 11, Goonan traveled to the Oakland federal building, carrying three Molotov cocktails, tried (by throwing rocks) to break windows so he could lob devices inside, but was thwarted by security. Instead, he placed the devices in a planter on the side of the building and lit them.
He also admitted to setting additional fires on the UC Berkeley campus on June 13 and June 16, 2024. In his own statements (as part of the plea), Goonan claimed the attacks were motivated by “despair over Gaza” and that he was inspired by the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. He went further, calling on others to carry out property attacks on Bay Area campuses in solidarity with Palestine.
In addition to roughly 235 months (nearly 20 years) behind bars, the court ordered 15 years of supervised release and $94,267.51 in restitution (plus a special assessment).

Casey Robert Goonan was sentenced today to 235 months in federal prison for committing a series of arsons and firebombings at the University of California, Berkeley and the Oakland federal building in June 2024. Senior U.S. District Judge Jeffrey S. White handed down the sentence.
In January 2025, Goonan, 35, of Oakland and Pleasant Hill, pleaded guilty to one count of maliciously damaging or destroying property used in or affecting interstate commerce by means of fire or an explosive.
According to a plea agreement filed in open court, in the early morning hours of June 1, 2024, Goonan placed a bag containing six explosive devices commonly known as “Molotov cocktails” underneath the fuel tank of a marked University of California Police Department (UCPD) patrol car parked near the UC Berkeley campus. Goonan lit the bag on fire and fled, causing the patrol car to catch on fire. A video capturing the events on the morning of June 1, 2024, can be viewed here.
Goonan also attempted to firebomb the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Oakland on June 11, 2024. Goonan arrived at the federal building carrying a bag containing three Molotov cocktails. Goonan threw rocks at the building, hoping to break a window in order to throw lit Molotov cocktails inside. That plan was disrupted by protective services officers. Upon fleeing from the officers, Goonan placed the Molotov cocktails in a planter on the side of building and lit them on fire.
In addition to these two attacks, Goonan set other fires on the UC Berkeley campus on June 1, June 13, and June 16, 2024.
Goonan acknowledged that these attacks were inspired by Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, and that he called on others to attack property on Bay Area college campuses in support of Palestine. Goonan admitted that his conduct was designed to influence and affect the conduct of governments by intimidation and coercion and to retaliate against the governments of the United States and the State of California for their conduct.
“Freedom of expression and peaceful protest are deeply enshrined values in America. We are all free to think what we want and express those views peacefully, but the use of violence to achieve political aims—or to silence those with whom you may disagree—has no place in our community and our country,” said United States Attorney Craig H. Missakian. “Anyone who crosses the line between peaceful protest and violence will be met with the full force of the law.”
“Safeguarding our communities from violence remains at the forefront of the FBI’s mission. While free speech and peaceful protest are protected rights, turning to firebombs and arson crosses into criminal conduct that endangers lives and threatens public safety,” said FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge Matt Cobo. “Today’s sentencing makes clear that the FBI and our partners will not tolerate violence, and we will hold accountable anyone who seeks to harm our communities.”
At sentencing, the Court referred to Goonan as a “domestic terrorist” and found that he had committed a felony offense that involved or was intended to promote a federal crime of terrorism.
In addition to the prison term, Judge White also ordered the defendant serve 15 years of supervised release after he is released from custody and ordered restitution in the amount of $94,267.51 and a $100 special assessment. The defendant has been in custody since his initial arrest on state charges on June 17, 2024.
As The Gateway Pundit reported last week, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth ordered all of the United States’ top military commanders to gather on Tuesday at Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia.
Hegseth urgently announced the meeting on Thursday of last week and originally gave no details on the subject matter.
Officials within the Pentagon have since revealed Hegseth’s plans to give a speech on “warrior ethos” and will outline the military’s new direction under the Trump administration.
President Trump broke his silence on the meeting and shared, “It’s really just a very nice meeting, talking about how well we’re doing militarily, talking about being in great shape.”
He added, “You know the expression ‘esprit de corps’? That’s all it’s about. We’re talking about what we’re doing, what they’re doing, and how we’re doing.”
The Independent further reported that President Trump will be present during the meeting.
President Donald Trump in an interview with NBC News Sunday, confirmed that he plans to attend an unusual meeting organized by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that will gather hundreds of senior military officers near Washington on Tuesday.
“It’s really just a very nice meeting talking about how well we’re doing militarily, talking about being in great shape, talking about a lot of good, positive things. It’s just a good message,” Trump told NBC News in a phone call. “We have some great people coming in and it’s just an ‘esprit de corps.’ You know the expression ‘esprit de corps’? Hegseth last week summoned hundreds of senior military leaders, who are stationed all over the world, to Washington for a meeting of the Pentagon’s top brass.
The event will be held at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia, about 30 minutes south of Washington. The base will host potentially thousands of military members, including the top brass, their aides and their security.
On Thursday, President Trump praised Hegseth’s plan to conduct a meeting with the U.S. military’s top generals and admirals and stated, “I love it, I mean I think it’s great.”

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a San Antonio man was arrested after allegedly opening fire at an Eagle Pass casino that left two people dead and several others injured.
KSAT reported that Keryan Jones, 34, was arrested on two counts of capital murder and multiple accounts of assault with a deadly weapon.
After opening fire at the Lucky Eagle Casino on the Kickapoo reservation, Jones reportedly fled the scene, which led to an active pursuit by law enforcement officers.
A spokesperson for the Eagle Pass Police Department revealed that they took Jones into custody after officers conducted a “precision immobilization technique” on Jones’ vehicle, which resulted in his car being immobilized, leading to his arrest.

34-year-old Keryan Jones has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of Capital Murder, as well as five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe Police Department will be the main organization investigating the shooting, the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
An employee at the casino has stated that the facility will be closed to the public until further notice.
With midterms just over a year away there is plenty in the news cycle to keep the algorithms spinning people into a frenzy. Election integrity may not be top of mind following the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, the indictment of James Comey, or Jimmy Kimmel crying about his suspension. However, election integrity remains a major priority of the Trump administration.
Americans are suspicious about election integrity after 2020 because sometimes the numbers don’t make sense. Illinois is a perfect example of warranted suspicion by the public.
Following the 2020 election the American public watched as Christopher Krebs the Director of CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) claimed, “…the 2020 election was the most secure in U.S. history.” However, in the very same testimony Krebs admitted, “…as you move out from election day, there will be tabulators that… uh… that may have internet connections to transmit the vote from the precinct to the county level, to the state…” Watch a clip of Krebs admitting as much in his testimony to Congress reported by CBS here.
It turns out there is plenty to question. As electionfraud20.org notes in forensic detail, in every swing state there were multiple problems. Issues such as break in chain of custody, voter roll anomalies, unobserved ballot counting, unobserved ballot adjudication, duplicate ballots, counties where ballot tallies did not match records, vote spikes of 95% to Biden, more votes counted than individuals recorded as voting and the list goes on.
This information was always available. The main weapon of the media has been to obfuscate. As it pertains to election machines, the biggest question mark in 2020 may have come from Antrim County Michigan. As reported by the Washington Examiner, Biden had won the traditionally Republican voting County. However, according to state and election officials, a “glitch” caused by “human error” was the non-fraudulent explanation for recounts showing Trump had won the county. Further audits and investigation would suggest otherwise. This among many other stories would call into question the legitimacy of election machines.
Fast forward to April 2025 during the municipal elections in Illinois. One of the most common contentions of 2020 was suspicion raised by statistical anomalies and extremely low probability of counted outcomes. Illinois has become a Democrat stronghold over the years. Even so, no one expected that the recent municipal elections in April of 2025 would result in 222 of 280 Democrat wins, a 79% margin of victory, among local candidates according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The article goes on the mention that, “This was the first off-year election of permanent vote by mail after years of compiling participants.” It goes on to assert that Democrats have much more trust in vote by mail. This somehow represents a benefit for Democrats in holding such an outsized margin of victory this past April.
There is one citizen who has done a simple analysis of the data directly from the county websites. Significant concerns of statistical anomalies would require more of an explanation than just vote by mail “confidence” from Democrats. Take the recent X posts from an account going by the name, Election Nark. For example, the below post highlights DuPage County, a collar county of Chicago’s neighboring Cook County. Across three different Townships, Democrat registered voter candidates supposedly received a uniform ranking of percentage of votes across the four different vote types of total votes, early votes, vote by mail, and election day votes. AI calculated the odds of this at 1 in 268 billion.

4 candidates won the 4 open seats, ranked perfectly across total votes, early votes, vote-by-mail, and election day.
And the odds of it happening once were 1 in 268 Billion.
The odds decrease as the analysis continues across two more township races for trustee positions. The public is supposed to believe that Democrat registered voter candidates, across 5 different townships, with different populations and different demographics rank within a percentage point of each other winning all seats, while Republican registered voter candidates rank within a percentage point of each other losing all seats. It cannot be stressed enough that this pattern is consistent across 5 different voting populations. This is seemingly impossible, and AI agrees. AI calculates the odds of this as (1 in 4.534 × 10^{46} or 1 in 4.426 × 10^{43}). In other words, a number that exceeds the number of seconds since the Big Bang.
So what are the chances this could happen in an election?
We had two different Artificial Intelligence systems analyze the data and run the odds. This is our favorite response but both had the same conclusion:
What about that vote-by-mail advantage? Interestingly, Election Nark shows the same pattern emerging when vote-by-mail is analyzed. This time a comparison is done between vote by mail ballots counted as of election day and vote by mail ballots counted between election day and the last day of counting on April 15th. In two different races, one for Downers Grove Village Trustee, and one for Lisle Township trustee the percentage of total vote by mail votes both as of April 1st and after counting stopped on April 15th are within a percentage point for each candidate while also maintaining the ranking from first to last for each candidate after both counts. In both races all Democrat registered voter candidates won and all Republican registered voter candidates lost. It is incredible for this result to happen in two different races. And yet, Election Nark has shown this pattern across 9 different township races in DuPage County! See the X post below:

The odds are unbelievable to say the least. One could claim that perhaps this is an issue with just DuPage County. That would require another article to address. However, Election Nark shows the very same patterns across multiple counties in Illinois including Cook, Kendall, Lake, and Will counties. All the data is sourced from the County websites. When these patterns arise within one county amongst multiple races the odds that random chance was the result are astronomically low. If this astronomically low probability of pattern consistency is shown across multiple counties logic would suggest an investigation is warranted. There is certainly more to report on this subject.
