This article presents two important, tangible reasons to have (and exhibit) a bold faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. For people who are skeptical about the divinity of Jesus and/or do not believe the 2,000-year old record of His teachings and miracles found in the Christian Bible (gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), these reasons hopefully will cause a renewed interest in Jesus and ultimately lead to belief and faith in Him as Lord and Savior. (The Bible teaches that without a Savior to atone for human sin, people will suffer God’s wrath, something most definitely to be avoided!)

Two very important reasons for a bold faith in Jesus as God’s Son are:

1. recent authentication of the Shroud of Turin being the actual burial cloth of Jesus giving evidence of His bodily resurrection; and
2. probability calculations showing that only Jesus could satisfy the many Biblical prophesies made hundreds of years before the birth and life of a future savior.

The Shroud of Turin

God the Creator has graciously preserved and given to humanity an astounding, miraculous, 2,000-year old gift, a precious holy relic. It is the Shroud of Turin, the recently authenticated burial cloth of Jesus Christ determined by extensive research and scientific examination to be the genuine article.

The 14.5 x 3.7 foot Shroud contains a face-up image of a man with blood stains on his forehead, wrists, side, and feet; exactly the areas of the body where the Christian Bible describes how Jesus was crucified by Roman soldiers. Below is the facial image on the Shroud:

Recent research indicates that the fabric of the Shroud is characteristic of fabrics woven in Israel during the first century and that the fabric contains microscopic residue of plants known to exist around Jerusalem.

A recent Newsmax post states: “Dr. Robert Harrington, a renowned skeptic and scientist, recently shocked his colleagues and peers when he announced his conversion to Christianity after a groundbreaking investigation into the Shroud of Turin.”

“Dr. Harrington embarked on his study of the Shroud intending to debunk its authenticity. However, as he delved deeper into the analysis, employing cutting-edge technology and methodologies, he encountered findings that challenged his scientific and personal beliefs.”

“‘I approached this study with a critical mind, ready to expose what I believed was a long-standing historical fabrication,’ Dr. Harrington explained. ‘But the evidence we uncovered was so compelling that it left no room for doubt. This is the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth.’”

Extensive examination of the Shroud indicates, among other things, that the blood and other bodily fluids/stains on the fabric were “burned” into the fabric by a tremendous burst of energy unexplainable by scientific examination. In fact, the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP) study group that included 35 physicists, chemists, NASA image specialists, electrical engineers, a forensic pathologist, and others, determined that the Shroud’s image:

• appears to be created by an oscillating strobe of high intensity light coming from inside the body;
• the event happened in 1/40 of a billion of a second like a laser beam, moving 2.5 billion watts of electricity; to create a similar light, one would need all the electric power generated on Earth!

The Bible teaches that God resurrected Jesus from His dead body and that He then interacted with hundreds of people for another 40 days proving that He had overcome death so that people would have faith in Him and assurance of an afterlife with their Heavenly Father. At the end of the 40-day period, the Bible says that Jesus returned to Heaven to “sit at God’s right hand”.

The Shroud of Turin is a message of hope and assurance to anyone searching for meaning in life or unsure about what will happen to them (their souls) upon their earthly death. Jesus is recorded saying in John’s gospel, chapter 3, verse 16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. The Shroud is under protective covering in the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Italy.

Probability Calculations

The probability calculations discussed herein are described in the book “Science Speaks” authored by mathematics and astronomy Professor Peter W. Stone and Robert C. Newman, Ph.D., Moody Press, Chicago, 1958. In his book, Professor Stone addresses the following questions: “Was the Jesus of the Bible who he claimed he was? Was he really God’s Son? Was Jesus the Messiah?”

For his initial calculations, Professor Stone used only eight of the approximately 300 biblical prophesies about Jesus and his life as follows:

a) born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2);
b) a messenger will prepare the way for him (Mal 3:1);
c) will enter Jerusalem riding on a donkey (Zech 9:9);
d) wounded in his hands by friends “(Zech 13:6);
e) betrayed for 30 pieces of silver (Zech 11:12);
f) gave 30 pieces of silver to a potter (Zech 11:13);
g) remained silent before his accusers (Isa 53:7); and
h) wicked men pierced his hands and feet “(Ps 22:16).

In evaluating a prophecy about Jesus, Professor Stone states that the question to ask is “—one man in how many men has fulfilled this prophesy?” He states further that “I realize that some will object to this question, saying that these prophecies were made with respect to Christ, and no other man has, or even can, fulfill them.

This, of course, is true when you consider the mass of prophecies regarding Christ, but it is not true of all individual prophecies.

It was prophesied, for example, that Christ would be born in Bethlehem; certainly other persons have been born in Bethlehem. It was prophesied that Christ would be crucified; other men have been crucified— I am trying to look at the evidence entirely unbiased, that I may better give a clear argument.”

Without going into the mathematical details, the end result of the probability calculations is that the chance of the above 8 prophecies all being fulfilled by one man by sheer chance is 1 in 10¹⁷ or 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.

And if 8 additional prophecies are added, for a total of 16, the odds of all 16 coming true in any one man by sheer chance would be 1 x 10²⁸ x 10¹⁷ or 1 in 10⁴⁵ or 1 in 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000! But miraculously, all 16 prophesies were fulfilled by Jesus!

Professor Stone states that it is overwhelmingly clear that mathematically, Jesus of Nazareth can be proven to be God’s Son, the prophesized savior.

Professor Stone concludes: “Any man who rejects Christ as the Son of God is rejecting a fact proved perhaps more absolutely than any other fact in the world.”

People place themselves in great peril by not believing the divinity of Jesus, trusting in him for the salvation of their souls, and adhering to his very beneficial teachings and rules for human conduct and life.

RussiaGate was really ObamaGate. And it was TREASON.

The Trump DOJ needs to appoint a Special Prosecutor/Counselor to investigate RussiaGate. This is ‘The Conspiracy of the Century.” It is massive. It’s time to put it in the hands of a power pitbull Special Prosecutor.

Don’t wait another day- do it immediately.

This criminal conspiracy started while Obama was president. Either you assume Obama is a moron, and/or a helpless puppet, who stood by, unaware his DOJ, FBI, CIA and other intelligence agencies were targeting President Trump; or you understand the truth- Obama ordered it all, approved of it all, and coordinated it all.

Obama was (and still is) the head of the snake.

This massive conspiracy connects all the dots- from 2016 to today. Obama and his crew of criminal conspirators and communist comrades tried to rig and steal not one, not two, but three presidential elections.

And to make it all work, they had to eliminate President Trump. So, they conspired to frame him, indict him, convict him with rigged judges and juries; demonize him with a massive fraudulent sting operation on January 6th; and when all of that failed, they ordered two assassination attempts.

The only way to get to the bottom of this “Conspiracy of the Century” is to hire a team of legal pitbull prosectors to go after all the participants- Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Hillary, etc- and then threaten them all with life in prison…preferably at Gitmo…and then offer immunity if they finger “the capo di tutti” who gave them the orders- Barack Obama.

Only a Special Prosecutor, with a team of legal pitbulls, and the vast resources and funding of the federal government, can make this happen.

I’m known for my national television show, “America’s Top Ten Countdown,” where I countdown the biggest news stories in America each week. Viewers love it when facts and raw truth are laid out in “top ten” format.

So, here are my “Top Ten” reasons why the Trump DOJ must name a Special Prosecutor/Counselor…

1.The Special Counsel (SC) Mueller, and Durham, and Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Horowitz investigations never investigated the origins of the Hillary Clinton-Democratic National Committee (DNC) plan as a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States.

2. Every investigative and prosecution check and balance in the system to prevent the weaponization and politicization of federal government agencies by those in power either failed, or was ignored by those in leadership positions, and by the Inspector General’s office.

3. The Special Counselor Mueller and DOJ Inspector General Horowitz investigations into the Russian Hoax Conspiracy never looked at the national security implications, or President Obama’s actions of allowing the FBI investigations on Team Trump to go forward, when Obama and those within his administration knew this was a scheme by the Clinton campaign and the DNC to taint Trump with “Russian Collusion”- to interfere in and steal the 2016 Presidential election.

4. Expose how the Russian hoax ruse evolved from simply a traditional Democrat “dirty trick” into a massive criminal conspiracy plan implemented at the highest levels of government, to interfere in the 2016 Presidential elections, to sway votes over to Hillary Clinton.

5. Expose how Hillary Clinton-Democrat National Committee (DNC) paid for disinformation documents; the bogus Steele and Shearer dossiers became the centerpiece for the National Security agencies- CIA, FBI, DOJ- and Congressional and Senate investigations into Trump and members of his team for conspiring with the Russians.

6. The facts show there was never any legal predication for any of the FBI or Special Counsel investigations into Trump or his team, and no evidence that Trump or his team conspired with the Russians. The release of the files on “Crossfire Hurricane” and “Arctic Frost” showed the substantial role the FBI played in the “Russian Hoax Conspiracy” of interfering with and influencing not one, but three Presidential elections: 2016, 2020, and 2024.

7. Allegations that former FBI leadership and Special Counsel (SC) Mueller hid exculpatory documents in the “Russian Gate” investigation.

8. Allegations that former President Obama, CIA Director Brennan, Office of National Intelligence (ONI) Director Clapper, and FBI Director Comey manipulated the ICA to destroy Trump.

9. In March 2016, President Obama shut down the CIA unit “Strategic Foreign Denial and Deception Committee” (FDDC)- the unit responsible for countering the Russian disinformation threat. The evidence infers that former President Obama and his Administration did not believe their own political narrative that the Russians were a threat to the nation. This was contrary to the Russian interference narrative sold to the public- which indicates pure fraud.

10. Accountability and transparency are not just ideals- they are the only way to restore the public’s faith in our institutions and Justice system. Those who orchestrated the most significant sedition coup in American history must be held accountable. Failure to do so is not an option.

Again, let me stress- the litany of crimes committed under the umbrella of “RussiaGate” (ie ObamaGate) in 2016…leads to the 2020 rigged and stolen election…which then leads to massive collusion between China, the CCP, and the Democrat Party to use the Covid pandemic to destroy the booming Trump economy, change voter laws, and introduce fraudulent mail-in ballots to steal key battleground states…which then leads to the bogus indictments, convictions and judgements against President Trump – all intended to force Trump to die in prison…which leads to the Cloward-Piven open borders conspiracy to flood America with tens of millions of illegal alien foreign invaders to change the voting demographics of America…which leads to the coverup of Biden’s mental incapacitation as president…which then leads to 2024 media manipulation, fake polls, and two assassination attempts on President Trump.

It’s all part of the same ongoing communist/globalist conspiracy.

Democrats used fraud, Soviet-level propaganda, slander, demonization, and weaponization of government to try to manipulate, rig and steal three presidential elections…pull off a seditious coup…and hijack the entire US federal government-to control all its power, riches and resources forever more.

Only a massive Special Prosecutor investigation, operating independently from the DOJ, with all the unlimited power and resources of the federal government, can connect all the dots, and bring former President Obama and all his cronies and communist comrades to justice.

And perhaps most importantly, tie all of this to one overriding crime- TREASON. Which leads to the punishment of the death penalty.

Coristine revealed to Watters that his grandfather was embedded deep within the Soviet KGB’s elite “Line X.”

Line X was the operating arm of the KGB Directorate “T,” which focused on scientific and technical intelligence collection from the West.

Its mission was to identify, acquire, and copy Western technologies, blueprints, designs, and research (often military or dual-use) that could help Soviet industry and defense.

But instead of faithfully serving Moscow, Martynov secretly betrayed the communist empire, passing vital intelligence to the CIA and FBI during the height of the Cold War.

I feel this great responsibility to serve my country. My grandfather was this KGB double agent for the Americans, and he died so that I could come here and live in this free country that I love so much. The Gateway Pundit previously reported through independent journalist Jacob Silverman that Coristine’s grandfather was none other than Valery Martynov, a Soviet KGB officer stationed in Washington, D.C. in the 1980s who secretly betrayed Moscow for freedom.

Martynov, instead of serving the Communist empire, secretly passed intelligence to the FBI, exposing KGB operations and giving the United States a decisive edge in the Cold War.

But the betrayal came at a high price. KGB counterintelligence officer Victor Cherkashin, aided by infamous CIA traitor Aldrich Ames and FBI mole Robert Hanssen, uncovered Martynov’s secret. He was lured back to Moscow in 1985, arrested, and ultimately executed on May 28, 1987.

His widow, Natalya, and their children eventually emigrated to America. Their daughter Anna later married Charles Coristine, CEO of LesserEvil popcorn. Their son? Edward, “Big Balls” himself.

President Trump will deliver remarks this morning to top military brass from the Department of War in Quantico, Virginia.

It remains unclear what the President will discuss with military leaders from around the world during the unprecedented meeting.

However, reports suggest that planned cuts to the Department and a reduction of military posture in Europe and the Middle East could be announced.

One thing is for sure: this meeting is bringing a lot of attention and criticism from the Democrats and their media allies.

Per Fox:

As speculation swirls over why generals and flag officers from around the world were summoned, Trump insisted the purpose was celebratory.

“It’s really just a very nice meeting talking about how well we’re doing militarily, talking about being in great shape, talking about a lot of good, positive things. It’s just a good message,” Trump told NBC News.

“We have some great people coming in, and it’s just an ‘esprit de corps.’ You know the expression ‘esprit de corps’? That’s all it’s about. We’re talking about what we’re doing, what they’re doing, and how we’re doing.”

Hundreds of generals, admirals and their senior enlisted leaders — ranked one star and above — were ordered last week to attend the meeting with War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The invitation offered no stated reason, fueling speculation it could herald mass cuts consistent with Hegseth’s push to shrink the general officer corps.

The President is scheduled to speak at 9:00 am ET.

Over 100,000 federal employees are expected to resign imminently under the Trump administration’s sweeping “deferred resignation” program.

This mass exodus is essential to finally draining the swamp and reasserting presidential control over a bloated, unaccountable federal machine.

Late last week, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) reportedly circulated internal guidance to agencies, warning them to prepare for waves of deferred resignations and reductions in force should Congress fail to approve full appropriations, according to the New York Post.

Agencies were told to begin drafting Separation and Reduction in Force (RIF) plans targeting nonessential positions.

On January 28, 2025, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a memo to the entire federal civil service titled “Fork in the Road,” offering employees a deferred resignation option.

The offer promised continued salary and benefits through September 30 if workers left voluntarily, but only if they signed away legal rights and accepted the exit by a looming deadline.

By mid-February, approximately 75,000 federal employees had signed the exit agreement.

Now, as the Trump White House prepares for a new wave, more than 100,000 additional workers are expected to depart as of Tuesday, making this breakaway the largest one-day drop in federal workforce history, according to The Guardian.

The news outlet reported:

Workers preparing to leave government as part of the resignation program – one of several pillars of Donald Trump’s sweeping cuts to the federal workforce – have described how months of “fear and intimidation” left them feeling like they had no choice but to depart.

“Federal workers stay for the mission. When that mission is taken away, when they’re scapegoated, when their job security is uncertain, and when their tiny semblance of work-life balance is stripped away, they leave,” a longtime employee at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) told the Guardian. “That’s why I left.”

The total number of expected departures through the delayed resignation and voluntary separation programs, attrition, and early retirement programs is about 275,000 employees, the spokesman said.

Several thousands of additional federal workers have been fired as part of reduction in force mandates ordered by the administration. The mass exodus is the largest single-year decline in civilian federal employment since the second world war.

Federal employees who took the deferred resignation offer requested to speak anonymously in hopes of returning to the federal government in the future and to protect future job prospects.

Trump’s agenda has long centered on shrinking the size and influence of the federal bureaucracy. In early 2025, he formally instructed agencies to prepare for deep cuts and reorganizations aimed at eliminating “waste, bloat, and corruption.”

Already, early moves have targeted traditionally liberal or expansive agencies. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has seen nearly all its Washington-based staff placed on leave, with office access revoked and operations severely curtailed.

Meanwhile, numerous agencies have been ordered to design reorganization plans, reduce overlapping departments, and shrink management layers.

Steve Federico, father of Logan Federico, the young woman who was executed by a career criminal in a South Carolina home earlier this year, went off on Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies during a testimony on Monday morning.

As previously reported, a beautiful 22-year-old college student was fatally shot inside a Columbia, South Carolina, rental home earlier this year by a career criminal who was “on a spree of thefts, break-ins and credit card fraud,” the Columbia Police Department said.

In May, Logan Federico, a college student from Waxhaw, North Carolina, was spending the weekend at a rental home with friends in South Carolina when she was senselessly murdered by a career criminal.

After stealing firearms and credit cards from a nearby home, 30-year-old Alexander Dickey broke into the Columbia rental home, entered Logan Federico’s room, and executed her while she was on her knees begging for her life.

Dickey fled the scene in a stolen vehicle and allegedly used stolen credit cards taken from the nearby home.

Police pursued Dickey after he fled into the woods. He reportedly broke into another home and set it on fire before police took him into custody after a standoff in Gaston.

“How dare you not know her name!” Federico shouted during the hearing.

Steve Federico told Laura Ingraham that mixing up his daughter’s name during the hearing was not a mistake, but it was humiliating.

“Her picture was right there. They’re blondes, they’re beautiful — but she didn’t even know who Logan was,” Federico told Laura Ingraham.

And then there were none.

YouTube, a Google subsidiary, became the last of three tech titans to settle a lawsuit brought forth by President Donald Trump, according to a blistering report from The Wall Street Journal.

The video sharing platform agreed to pay a hefty $24.5 million to settle lawsuits brought forth by Trump in 2021.

At the time, the president’s YouTube account had been banned following the Jan. 6 incursion at the U.S. Capitol.

YouTube claimed that they had gone to those extraordinary lengths to remove Trump’s channel to nix potential videos that may incite violence.

(The channel was reinstated in March 2023.)

The YouTube settlement is the second-biggest of the lawsuits brought against various tech titans by Trump — and that appears to be intentional.

The biggest settlement Trump had was with Facebook parent company Meta Platforms, which was for $25 million.

“Google executives were eager to keep their settlement smaller than the one paid by rival Meta, according to people familiar with the matter,” The Wall Street Journal reported.

While $24.5 million does come in lower than the $25 million Meta paid, it’s more than double what X, formerly Twitter, paid Trump for a similar lawsuit, as the now-Elon Musk owned platform paid $10 million.

Interestingly, while Trump will “keep” most of this settlement money — $22 million — none of it will actually be going to him.

The Wall Street Journal noted that the money will be immediately rerouted to the nonprofit Trust for the National Mall, tasked with building a grand ballroom near the White House.

The other $2.5 million will be dispersed among various other plaintiffs. There is no mention of attorney fees.

This decision comes months after YouTube was apparently having “productive conversations” with the Trump administration in June, per The Hill.

President Trump recently delivered a scathing address at the United Nations, criticizing Europe for allowing unbridled immigration and warning it would lead to the continent’s destruction. He contrasted this with his own record, noting his policies had reduced illegal entries into the United States to about 5 percent of the level under Biden.

Trump was criticized in Europe and elsewhere for his immigration policies, even though they were clearly better for the US and despite data showing how immigration is destabilizing Europe. Many world leaders not only rejected Trump’s recommendations but also wanted him to reverse US immigration policies, reopen the borders, and allow 20 million illegal immigrants to remain in the country. Global reactions to his speech reflected the broader belief that foreign governments should have a say in American domestic policies such as immigration.

On the first day of his first administration, in January 2017, Trump withdrew the US from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a 12-nation trade deal. He argued it was a bad agreement that would harm American workers while benefiting special interests.

Trump declared that his administration’s policy would be to prioritize the financial well-being of Americans in all negotiations and to create fair, economically beneficial agreements that served their interests. He emphasized his intention to negotiate directly with individual countries on a one-on-one basis rather than through large multilateral deals.

Critics around the world accused him of undermining global trade, but his decision effectively ended the TPP, which was largely scrapped after the U.S. withdrawal. During the campaign, Trump had been blunt, calling the TPP “another disaster done and pushed by special interests” and “a continuing rape of our country.”

Also, during his first term, Trump was sharply criticized for withdrawing the US from the World Health Organization. Opponents claimed the move would damage the WHO’s credibility and weaken compliance among member states.

Trump defended the decision by citing the organization’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that began in Wuhan, its bias toward China, and its lack of independence from political pressure. He also argued the WHO demanded unfairly high payments from the US, while China, with a population more than four times larger, contributed nearly 90 percent less.

Similar criticism resurfaced in 2025 when RFK Jr. urged the US to reject new global health agreements, calling the WHO “moribund.” That May, 124 countries voted for the WHO Pandemic Accord, with only 11 abstentions, but RFK Jr. urged states to reject it. In September, he dismissed a UN declaration on non-communicable diseases, declaring the United States would “walk away” from the agreement.

On May 8, 2018, the United States withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Iran nuclear deal. Trump argued that the agreement, negotiated under Obama, ultimately allowed Iran to continue developing its nuclear weapons program. Global leaders condemned the move, claiming it made the world less safe, but Trump countered that the real danger was a nuclear-armed Iran, and that the JCPOA enabled exactly that outcome.

Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement in June 2017, arguing that it imposed unfair burdens on the American economy. World leaders objected, warning the move would encourage other countries to refuse compliance, but Trump insisted the agreement was “the latest example of Washington entering into an agreement that disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries.”

He said it left American workers and taxpayers to absorb the cost in the form of lost jobs, lower wages, shuttered factories, and diminished production. Trump claimed compliance could cost as many as 2.7 million American jobs by 2025, while allowing some of the world’s worst polluters to benefit. He singled out China, the world’s largest polluter, for being permitted to increase emissions even as the US and Europe were pressured to reduce theirs.

Biden rejoined the agreement in 2021, but Trump again withdrew in 2025, calling it “the unfair, one-sided Paris climate accord rip-off” and declaring, “The United States will not sabotage our own industries while China pollutes with impunity.”

Complaints about tariffs were another case where the world was angry that Trump acted in America’s best interest. Beyond concerns about reduced trade with the US, world leaders claimed that higher American tariffs would encourage other countries to raise tariffs against one another. However, every nation retains full autonomy to set its own trade policies—Trump did not force anyone to act.

In a similar vein, many economists in the US and abroad argued that Trump’s tariffs would fail because they would “force” foreign countries to raise tariffs against the United States. This is false. American tariffs do not compel other nations to act; they are intended to bring foreign governments to the negotiating table and strengthen the US bargaining position. They do not obligate other countries to offer the US worse deals.

Now, nine months into the administration, both the US and its trading partners have adjusted, proving that Trump’s policy was the right one for America regardless of foreign objections. The United States is a sovereign nation, and the responsibility of the American president is to make decisions that serve American interests, regardless of whether other countries or international bodies approve.

The ACLU wrote that human rights groups, international law experts, and policy analysts have raised concerns that some of Donald Trump’s immigration policies and rhetoric enable authoritarianism and create conditions that could lead to mass atrocities, though there is debate over the use of the term “genocide.” According to the ACLU, critics argue that Trump’s policies are not isolated but part of a broader pattern that weakens democratic institutions and endangers vulnerable populations around the world.

Examining this criticism, legal experts have no authority over “rhetoric” unless that rhetoric violates the law, and the criticism does not claim that Trump’s words are illegal. The same logic applies to policies. International law experts may comment on the legality of US policies, but in this case the claim is not that the policies themselves are unlawful; rather, the argument is that they might inspire negative behavior by leaders in other countries. In addition to being a spurious claim, it does not constitute a violation of the law.

The Asia Times, a staunchly pro-CCP publication that hates Trump and hates the US, wrote that Trump’s rhetoric and immigration policies “provide new fuel for Myanmar’s Rohingya genocide.” Unlike the ACLU’s broad assertion that Trump’s policies “enable” authoritarianism, Asia Times linked them to a specific genocide, one that began under Obama, continues today, and which Trump has never mentioned, referenced, or alluded to.

By this logic, President Trump should reopen the southern border and allow unbridled illegal immigration in order to prevent a genocide in Myanmar. And if liberals truly believe this reasoning, then why did the genocide continue under the open-border policies of Obama and Biden?

Genocide Watch claimed that Trump’s mass deportation policies violated international law, stating: “President Trump’s order to arrest and deport millions of undocumented immigrants, including hundreds of thousands of refugees, violates US obligations under the 1967 Protocol on the Status of Refugees. The US Senate ratified that treaty unanimously in 1968. 147 nations are States Parties to the treaty.”

However, a closer reading of the report shows that the only possible legal challenge concerns the deportation of asylum seekers, not illegal aliens in general. The Convention defines who qualifies as a refugee and applies specifically to individuals granted asylum; it does not provide blanket protection to all undocumented immigrants.

The claim also contains other problems. While the Senate’s role is to approve or reject treaties, ratification itself is an executive act performed by the president, not the legislative branch. Furthermore, the 1967 Refugee Protocol has generally been regarded as non-self-executing in US law. This means it does not automatically have the force of law domestically and requires implementing legislation. US courts have consistently concluded that the Protocol is not self-executing, and both the president and the Senate believed that pre-existing domestic law governing refugees would be sufficient to implement it.

The bottom line is that the US president is chosen by the American people to do what is best for the United States. Since World War II, the US has often shouldered the burden of helping other nations, but President Trump is demanding a rebalancing of the system, one in which the US prioritizes its own interests and Europe takes greater responsibility for solving some of the world’s problems.
