Will Sweden get Nukes?

Once there was a time when Scandinavian Kingdom of Sweden was pacifist and neutral, and had what many viewed as a perfect society.

But now, it has joined NATO and inserted itself in the European rearmament craze, while its society filled with migrants is rife with crime, and about 60 ‘no-go zones’.

Now, if all that is not enough, reports suggest Sweden may be about to try and develop nuclear weapons, while engaging in cooperation with the UK and France.

The reaction online was mixed, at best.

Defense24.com reported:

“Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has revealed that his country is in preliminary talks with France and the UK about possible cooperation in the field of nuclear weapons. This is a significant change in Swedish security policy following its entry into NATO and amid growing uncertainty about the long-term commitment of the United States to the defense of Europe.”

Discussions with Paris and London are at a very early stage.

“Prime Minister Kristersson’s statement comes at a time when there is growing debate in Europe about strengthening its own nuclear deterrent, independent of the US. The new US security and defense strategies, which call for a reduction in US involvement in Europe and a focus on greater European independence, mean that the discussion about European countries« own nuclear capabilities will resurface.”

Breaking Defense reported:

“No concrete proposals or timelines for any cooperation were outlined, and Kristersson emphasized that talks remain preliminary in early stages. But his remarks to Sweden’s public broadcaster SVT mark a notable shift in tone on the sensitive issue in Sweden of nuclear deterrence in Europe.

[…] ‘France occasionally raises, even publicly, an interest in discussing nuclear weapons capabilities with other European countries’, Kristersson said in his comments.

His statement came just days after the US Defense Department released its unclassified National Defense Strategy (NDS). Part of that document laid out a two-pronged message about how the Trump administration will counter Russia: by building up American nuclear forces, while also drawing down US forces in Europe and having the European nations handle their own continental defense.”

Let’s begin with the truth no serious observer denies: Russia invaded Ukraine. Moscow lit the fuse. The war is brutal. Europe’s strategic interest is to prevent Russian imperial expansion, and to rearm in the meantime. Fine. Clear. No dispute.

But clarity on Russia’s guilt does not require blind obedience to Volodymyr Zelensky. And yet, in today’s Europe, questioning Kyiv’s methods is treated like blasphemy. Speak cautiously and you’re “pro-Putin.” Ask for legal safeguards and you’re a “traitor.” Express the slightest criticism of Mr. Zelensky’s erratic behavior and you become a “Putin lackey.” How charming. This hysteria is precisely what Zelensky exploited on the Davos stage.

Since Washington closed its checkbook, Europe has become Ukraine’s ATM. A staggering €280 billion has been paid & committed. That’s not charity. That’s taxpayer money from nations already drowning in debt, stagnation, and energy insecurity. Belgium, France, Italy — all hovering near or above 120% debt-to-GDP. And still, Brussels keeps wiring billions eastward.

And what does Mr. Zelensky do after receiving this river of cash? He goes to Davos and publicly accuses Belgium — yes, Belgium — and Europe of doing Vladimir Putin’s bidding.

Their crime? Refusing to illegally confiscate Russian central bank assets frozen in Brussels. Let’s hear Mr. Zelensky precisely in Davos:

‘when the time came to use those assets to defend against Russian aggression, the decision was blocked. Putin managed to stop Europe.’

Belgium’s prime minister pointed out an inconvenient detail: international law still exists. Treaties protecting sovereign assets still exist. And seizing €200 billion without legal basis could expose tiny Belgium to catastrophic retaliation claims — roughly one-third of its GDP. A sane government would call that a serious risk. Zelensky calls it treason.

At Davos, he sneered that “Putin decides how frozen assets are used,” not Europe. Translation: any European leader who refuses to break the law on demand is now a Kremlin puppet. All the rational arguments put forward against seizing Russian assets: pssst! Pretexts! Falsehoods! Lies! European leaders speak, but their vocal cords are being manipulated from MOSCOW!

This isn’t diplomacy. It’s extortion rhetoric.

Zelensky’s worldview is brutally simple:
Obey instantly — or be branded an enemy.
Pay more — or be accused of betrayal.
Break your own legal order — or be shamed before the global ‘elite’.

That is not how alliances function in democratic civilizations. Europe is not a wartime dictatorship. The EU is not Zelensky’s personal command center. European governments answer to their citizens — not to a foreign president. Not Putin. Not even Mr. Zelensky.

Europe’s strategic interest is to support Ukraine and its courageous people. But Mr. Zelensky is not a sacred figure. Especially when he allows himself to insult the taxpayers who are giving him 280 billion.

And here lies the ultimate irony: by urging Europe to abandon law in the name of ‘justice’, Zelensky adopts the very logic of the authoritarian regimes he claims to oppose. Rule by urgency. Rule by moral blackmail. Rule by insult.

At Davos, Zelensky didn’t just ask for aid. He revealed something far more troubling: a belief that allies exist to obey, not to deliberate.

Europe would do well to remember: it did not build its peace, prosperity, or freedom through obedience — but through law, restraint, and reason.

And that, inconveniently, still matters.

NEW: Florida Revokes Nursing License For Nurse Who Wished Severe Injuries on Karoline Leavitt

The nurse who was fired for wishing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt suffer a severe 4th degree tear during childbirth has been stripped of her nursing license in Florida.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Leavitt announced in December that she is expecting a baby girl in May 2026.

This will be her second child.

“The greatest Christmas gift we could ever ask for – a baby girl coming in May 2026.” Leavitt said in an Instagram post.

“My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth,” she said.

“I am also extremely grateful to President Trump and our Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support, and for fostering a pro-family environment in the White House,” Leavitt said.

“2026 is going to be a great year and I am so excited to be a girl mom!” Leavitt added.

In a viral video, the nurse graphically wished that Leavitt suffer traumatic injuries during childbirth.

“I hope you f*cking rip from bow to stern and never sh*t normally again, you c*nt,” she said.

The nurse was fired and on Saturday Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier called on the Florida Board of Nursing to yank this woman’s license immediately.

On Wednesday, AG Uthmeier announced that Lexie Lawler is no longer allowed to practice nursing in Florida.

Florida Attorney General Dr. Ladapo suspended Lawler’s nursing license.

“Making statements that wish pain and suffering on anyone, when those statements are directly related to one’s practice, is an ethical red line we should not cross,” Uthmeier said.

Obama-Era Report on ICE-Related Deaths Proves How Hypocritical Hysteria Over Alex Pretti’s Death Really Is

In case America missed it, Barack Obama hypocrisy is back.

The 42nd president — the man who gave Joe Biden the platform to win the presidency five years ago — deigned to weigh in this week on the death of armed protester Alex Pretti during a confrontation with Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis.

But a report from the last year of Obama’s presidency shows how hypocritical that statement actually was.

In a post published Sunday on the social media platform X, Obama called Pretti’s death a “tragedy” that “should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under attack.”

Any needless death is a tragedy, so there’s not much of an argument with Obama on that score. (Still, there’s a case to be made that Pretti contributed a good deal to the circumstances that led to his demise.)

But what exactly are the “core values” that are under attack?

The value in law enforcement officers enforcing the law? That’s not only what they get paid taxpayer money for, the laws they’re enforcing were passed by the Congress of the United States and signed by various presidents of both parties. (That’s a fact that seems to get lost in the shuffle.)

Or maybe Obama’s statement was prompted by the fact that there was a death involved — the second death related to President Donald Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown in Minneapolis in the span of a month.

Well, here’s where things get interesting. Years before the Biden presidency launched an era of border lawlessness unprecedented in U.S. history, and caused the illegal immigration invasion Trump is cleaning up, Obama had a reputation in leftist circles as “deporter in chief.”

Over the course of Obama’s eight years in office, more than 3 million individuals were deported, according to USA Today, citing Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.

The difference is that leftists in the streets are opposing Trump, where they greeted Obama’s actions with muffled moans.

More to the point, on matters of life and death, an Obama-era report published by the leftist American Civil Liberties Union found that by February 2016, there had been 56 deaths of individuals in ICE custody since Obama took office in 2009. Leftists blamed the majority of the deaths on substandard medical care.

Remember the establishment media hysteria that greeted the news that more than half a hundred individuals had met their ends while in ICE’s hands during the Obama years? Probably not.

Remember the screeds branding Obama a “Nazi”? No.

Remember Obama himself grandstanding on the topic of American “core values” under assault? Of course not.

That’s because for Democrats, for leftists as a whole, and for their establishment media allies, outrage is based on politics, not principle.

Obama can issue statements with impunity, placing implicit blame on Trump for Pretti’s Jan. 24 death, as well as the Jan. 7 death of anti-ICE protester Renee Good, also in Minneapolis, when the reality is that both Good and Pretti had plenty to do with their own deaths — starting with the fact they had no business being present in the first place.

He knows as well as anyone in American politics how much the Democratic Party has the establishment media in its pocket.

He knows the hysteria surrounding Pretti’s death — and the death of Good before him — will be engineered in newsrooms around the country to cause maximum harm to Trump while minimizing its impact on any politician favored by liberal media outlets.

He knows the hypocrisy at work in American media, and he plays it like a fiddle.

Republicans and conservatives need to make sure their fellow American voters understand it, too. Or they’ll be getting played themselves.

New Footage Appears to Show Alex Pretti Spitting on Federal Law Enforcement Officers and Kicking Tail Light of Their Vehicle One Week Before His Death

New footage obtained by The BBC appears to show Alex Pretti with a gun on his waistband, spitting on federal law enforcement officers and kicking the tail light of their vehicle one week before he was shot dead.

The video, dated January 13, appears to show an armed Pretti confronting federal law enforcement officers and spitting on them before getting tackled.

The footage, analyzed by The BBC with facial recognition, confirmed Pretti’s identification with a 97% degree of accuracy.

Pretti was released at the scene after law enforcement tackled him.

It is unclear if Pretti was charged, however, CNN reported that he was known to law enforcement prior to his death.

CNN reported this week that Alex Pretti, 37, was known to law enforcement.

According to CNN, Pretti broke a rib after getting tackled by agents as he attempted to impede an immigration operation just one week before his death.

The footage obtained by The BBC corroborates CNN’s report.

A week later, Pretti resisted arrest and attacked federal law enforcement agents before he was fatally shot.

Two DHS agents involved in the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti have been place on administrative leave.

Sorry, Liberals, ICE Does Have the Authority to Make Arrests and Use Deadly Force

Newsrooms on the Left with distinct political leanings have increasingly attempted to shape public perception by misrepresenting the legal powers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Some liberal media outlets, seeking to influence the national conversation on immigration, have misleadingly insisted that ICE agents must obtain a judicial warrant before making the arrest of an illegal alien. Some of their followers have gone as far as boldly claiming that ICE has never possessed the legal authority to even make the arrests at all. Neither assertion is true.

The Gateway Pundit spoke to Raymond Orzel, who once served as the inaugural director and Executive Co-Chair of the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and as a Senior Special Agent at ICE, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

“Local police officers are not required to obtain a warrant when they come across someone committing a crime in a public space, and the same applies to ICE agents,” Orzel said. He pointed out that under Section 287 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, ICE officers “clearly” possess the authority to arrest aliens without needing a judicial warrant.

He explained that ICE-HSI serves as the main investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ranks as the second largest investigative agency within the federal government. “Aside from the FBI,” he also pointed out, “ICE has the highest number of Special Agents, second only to the FBI, dedicated to enforcing over 400 federal laws that fall under its jurisdiction, more than any other federal investigative agency.”

As Orzel stated, “Many people might not realize that ICE consists of two principal operating components. These are Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).”

On the one hand, the HSI directorate is an essential component of the ICE mission, tasked with investigating various domestic and international activities related to the unlawful movement of individuals and goods into, within, and out of the United States. “HSI conducts investigations into immigration offenses, including things like violations of human rights, human trafficking, narcotics and weapons smuggling, various forms of contraband, financial crimes, cybercrime, issues related to export enforcement, and more,” Orzel shared.

“On the other hand,” he said, “ERO administers the country’s immigration laws in a just and efficient way. It detects and apprehends individuals subject to removal, detains them when needed, and expels undocumented aliens when needed.”  He pointed out that this unit focuses on the capture, arrest, and removal of convicted offenders, individuals who pose a risk to national security, fugitives, and those who have illegally crossed the border.

Orzel said the deadly shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on January 7 sparked protests nationwide and heightened scrutiny of the agency. He questions whether the scrutiny over the agency’s use of deadly force is truly warranted.

According to DHS Policy Statement 044-05 (Revision 01), as of February 6, 2023, “DHS [law enforcement officers, or LEOs] may use deadly force only when necessary, that is when the LEO has a reasonable belief that the subject of such force poses and imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury to the LEO or to another person.”

He pointed out that the memo further clarifies, “Deadly force shall not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject. However, deadly force is authorized to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject where the LEO has a reasonable belief that the subject poses a significant threat of death or serious physical harm to the LEO or others and such force is necessary to prevent escape.”

“Could the Left’s scrutiny of ICE arrests and use of deadly force be nothing more than distraction from the theft of federal funds intended for social-welfare programs in Minnesota?” Orzel asked.

“I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”

Former French Senator Joël Guerriau Convicted for Drugging National Assembly Member Sandrine Josso With the Objective of Raping Her

A former French senator was convicted and sentenced yesterday (27) to four years in prison, of which 18 months must be served.

The conviction is for drugging a National Assembly member in order to abuse or rape her.

CBS News reported:

“Joël Guerriau, 68, has admitted serving Sandrine Josso a drink spiked with MDMA, known as ecstasy, but says it was an accident.

A Paris court found him guilty of having drugged Josso to sexually assault or rape her and of possession of drug. He was given an additional [two and a half years] suspended sentence, obligation of treatment and a ban on holding elected office.”

After the verdict, Josso said the sentence was a ‘huge relief’, while Guerriau’s lawyer said he would appeal the conviction and sentence.

“The trial brought national attention to drug-facilitated assault in the country already marked by the landmark drugging-and-rape case that turned Gisèle Pelicot into a global icon of the fight against sexual violence.”

Josso said Guerriau invited her to celebrate his reelection back in November 2023.

“’I really felt myself slipping away’, Josso testified Monday, saying she experienced heart palpitations shortly after taking a few sips of champagne. She said she felt uneasy being alone with Guerriau, who appeared unusually agitated and repeatedly turned lights on and off.

Josso said Guerriau later took her glass into the kitchen to refill it. That’s when she noticed him holding ‘a little bag’, which made her realize she had likely been drugged.”

President Trump on Wednesday announced he has nominated Colin McDonald to serve as the Assistant Attorney General for National Fraud Enforcement.

The new position will be Senate-confirmed, and Senate Majority Leader Thune has promised a swift confirmation.

“I am pleased to nominate Colin McDonald to serve as the first ever Assistant Attorney General for National FRAUD Enforcement, a new Division at the Department of Justice, which I created to catch and stop FRAUDSTERS that have been STEALING from the American People,” Trump said.

“My Administration has uncovered Fraud schemes in States like Minnesota and California, where these thieves have stolen Hundreds of Billions of Taxpayer Dollars. Colin McDonald is a very Smart, Tough, and Highly Respected AMERICA FIRST Federal Prosecutor who has successfully delivered Justice in some of the most difficult and high stakes cases our Country has ever seen. Together, we will END THE FRAUD, and RESTORE INTEGRITY to our Federal Programs. Congratulations Colin — STOP THE SCAMS!” Trump said.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche praised Colin McDonald.

“Colin is a rockstar, who was instrumental in our team’s mission of Making America Safe Again. He is a consummate prosecutor who loves God, family, and country and will serve the President and the American people well,” Todd Blanche said.

The new assistant attorney general’s work will begin in Minnesota after it was revealed that Somali fraudsters stole billions of dollars of taxpayer money in various schemes.

“It has all the benefits, all the resources, all the authority of a special counsel, but with two crucial differences,” Vice President JD Vance said earlier this month to reporters in the press briefing room.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi will not be supervising Colin McDonald.

Vance continued, “Number one, it will be run out of the White House under the supervision of me and the President United States.”

“And number two, it’s actually constitutionally legitimate. As you guys may know, the special counsel statute has some major constitutional questions,” he said.

“When we get the bad guys, we want to make sure we get them permanently, and they don’t have some legal technicality they can get out of, which is why we set it up as an associate attorney general,” he said.

Anglicans keep getting woker and woker.

As Britain national identity has been eroded under leftist Labour party rule, other institutions like the ultra-woke Church of England (CoE) are helping speed up the collapse process.

Today (28), Sarah Mullally was confirmed as the new archbishop of Canterbury, becoming the first woman to spiritually lead the CoE.

In the video below, as the female speaker says ‘no person has appeared in opposition to the confirmation’, a furious male voice shouts ‘I did!’, and goes on a rant until security removes the person.

The images show that not even half the seats in the Cathedral are taken in this supposedly important moment – showing us just how decadent the CoE has become.

Associated Press reported:

“The worldwide Anglican Communion, which includes the Episcopal Church in the U.S., has no formal head, but the archbishop traditionally has been seen as its spiritual leader.

Mullally, 63, a cancer nurse turned cleric, officially took up the responsibilities of her new job as judges presided over a legal ceremony confirming her appointment, which was announced almost four months ago.”

The Church of England ordained its first female priests in 1994 and its first female bishop in 2015.

You bet Globalist AP has a progressive ‘expert on theology and the monarchy’ named of George Gross to show things in the best light:

“’It is a big contrast [with the Catholic Church]’, Gross said. ‘And in terms of the position of women in society, this is a big statement’.”

But AP is at least willing to include the obvious:

“Gafcon, a global organization of conservative Anglicans, says Mullally’s appointment is divisive because a majority of the Anglican Communion still believes only men should be bishops.”
