The return of US astronauts to the moon orbit is easily the most overlooked contemporary event.

Ever since 1972, no human being has been to the moon surface or its orbit. But now, the Donald J. Trump administration is gearing up for a historic return.

The Artemis II will take American astronauts back to the moon, and a first mission, to orbit our satellite, will take off in less than 10 days.

The mission was today bumped two days ahead because of the inclement weather in Florida.

NASA delayed a the fueling test (‘wet dress rehersal’) for the Artemis II moon rocket to Monday (February 2), and that pushed the historic launch back to no earlier than 11:20pm EST on February 8.

CBS News reported:

“The long-awaited Artemis II mission will use NASA’s huge Space Launch System rocket to boost three NASA astronauts and a Canadian crewmate on a trip around the moon and back, the first such flight since the final Apollo mission 54 years ago. The upcoming mission will set the stage for another crew to attempt a landing near the moon’s south pole in 2028.

The Artemis II launch had been targeted for next Friday, assuming a leak-free fueling test Saturday. But with the test delay, and the time needed for NASA to analyze the results, the agency opted to give up launch opportunities on Feb. 6 and 7. If the rocket is not off the ground by Feb. 11, the flight will slip to early March.”

Deputy AG Blanche: DOJ Opened Civil Rights Investigation Into CBP Shooting Death of Alex Pretti; Also Investigating Left Wing Groups Behind Anti-ICE Harassment Campaign

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters Friday at a press conference about a new batch of documents being released from the Epstein Files that the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has opened an investigation into the shooting death last Saturday in Minneapolis of anti-ICE activist Alex Pretti.

Blanche also have a short, “yes,” response when asked in the context of the Pretti shooting, “Are you looking at a nexus of left-wing groups? This DOJ said that that’s something that you guys were concerned about. Are you following money? Are you looking at a potential that all of this may be related somewhere?”

Blanche replied, “I mean, yes.”

Pretti, 37, was shot and killed while filming and resisting arrest after assaulting a CBP agent during an immigration enforcement operation. Pretti was armed with a handgun and backup ammunition. As several agents tried to pin a struggling Pretti down, the gun was discovered in his rear waistband and removed by an agent a moment before two other agents opened fire on him.

A nationwide argument has erupted over whether the shooting death of Pretti was justified, with Democrats using the incident to try to block funding for ICE and Homeland Security in an effort to cripple immigration enforcement.

Blanche was asked questions about the Pretti shooting at different points in the press conference. When asked where were the agents’ guns used in the shooting as well as Pretti’s cellphone, Blanche said he did not know.

Blanche also said the newly discovered video of Pretti acting violently at an earlier action against ICE would not change the investigation. Pretti was recorded spitting, screaming and cursing at agents before kicking and destroying a tail light on a federal vehicle while carrying a concealed gun in his waistband. In a situation similar to that which led to his death, agents swarmed Pretti but that time he was able to fight them off and elude arrest.

When asked whether a similar civil rights investigation was being done for the ICE shooting death of anti-ICE activist Renee Good after she hit an agent with her car, Blanch explained that not every officer involved shooting warrants a civil rights investigation.

It’s an Epstein deluge.

And so, we’ve come to the point today where the DOJ has released no less than 3,5 million new documents from the Jeffrey Epstein Files, pursuant to the House Resolution 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

That’ll keep reporters all over the world busy for weeks or months to come, but the revelations are already coming in, hard and fast.

To begin with, a sleazy moment in 2010 where the disgraced financier sets up former Prince Andrew with a 26-year-old Russian woman, in the same year that the fallen royal told the Kingdom that he severed ties with Epstein.

Andrew and Epstein’s connection survived the sex offender’s incarceration.

The Telegram reported:

“In emails to a contact listed as the ‘The Duke’, the convicted sex abuser wrote: “I have a friend who i think you might enjoy having dinner with„ her name is irina she will be london 20-24 [sic].”

In response, the former Duke of York appeared to reply: ‘Of course. I am in Geneva until the morning of 22nd but would be delighted to see her. Will she be bringing a message from you? Please give her my contact details to get in touch.’ […] Epstein later clarified the woman was ‘26, russian, clevere [sic] beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email’.”

“Andrew: How are you? Good to be free?

Epstein: …great to be free of many things”

Another Telegram report, we learn that, in another released email, Epstein claimed that Bill Gates caught an STD after having sex with Russian girls.

Epstein-Gates: Documents suggest their connection was much more extensive than previously known.

Epstein sent a ‘memo to himself’ on July 18 2013, where he writes about a falling out between the two.

“’TO add insult to the injury you them [sic] implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis’, the email reads.

[…] The revelations about Gates offer the first public details of their relationship after they were photographed together multiple times in previous Epstein Files.”

The revelations are coming in non-stop, so stay tuned.

Senate Votes 71-29 to Pass Revised Government Funding Package

The Senate on Friday evening voted 71-29 to pass a revised $1.2 trillion funding package that will partially fund the government until September 30.

The bill will now head to the House.

The House is in recess until Monday, so the government will partially shut down over the weekend.

The Democrats and President Trump will have two weeks to negotiate the Homeland Security appropriations bill.

The Hill reported:

The Senate voted overwhelmingly Friday to pass a major funding package consisting of five regular appropriations bills and a two-week stopgap measure for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) but the legislation won’t become law before parts of the government shut down at midnight.

The 71-29 vote caps a week of Senate drama after a Border Patrol agent shot and killed 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis on Saturday, sparking a public backlash against the tactics of federal immigration enforcement officers and pushing Democrats to oppose the DHS funding bill that was part of a six-bill funding package.

Democrats vowed to block the entire funding package that had been carefully negotiated over months between Republican and Democratic members of the Appropriations Committee, putting Congress on course for what some lawmakers feared would be another prolonged government shutdown.

But senators managed to save the funding package by negotiating a last-minute deal with the White House to split off the Homeland Security appropriations bill from the five other spending measures funding the departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, Transportation and State, among others.

BREAKING: Lawless Clinton Judge Permanently Blocks Trump’s Executive Order Requiring Proof of Citizenship to Vote or Register to Vote

Judge Kollar Kotelly wants illegals to vote in US elections.

A federal judge on Friday permanently blocked key parts of President Trump’s executive order requiring proof of citizenship to vote or register to vote.

US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly permanently enjoined President Trump’s executive order.

Last March President Trump signed an executive order Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections:

It is the policy of my Administration to enforce Federal law and to protect the integrity of our election process.

Sec. 2. Enforcing the Citizenship Requirement for Federal Elections. To enforce the Federal prohibition on foreign nationals voting in Federal elections:

(a)(i) Within 30 days of the date of this order, the Election Assistance Commission shall take appropriate action to require, in its national mail voter registration form issued under 52 U.S.C. 20508:

(A) documentary proof of United States citizenship, consistent with 52 U.S.C. 20508(b)(3); and

(B) a State or local official to record on the form the type of document that the applicant presented as documentary proof of United States citizenship, including the date of the document’s issuance, the date of the document’s expiration (if any), the office that issued the document, and any unique identification number associated with the document as required by the criteria in 52 U.S.C. 21083(a)(5)(A), while taking appropriate measures to ensure information security.

(ii) For purposes of subsection (a) of this section, “documentary proof of United States citizenship” shall include a copy of:

(A) a United States passport;

(B) an identification document compliant with the requirements of the REAL ID Act of 2005 (Public Law 109-13, Div. B) that indicates the applicant is a citizen of the United States;

(C) an official military identification card that indicates the applicant is a citizen of the United States; or

(D) a valid Federal or State government-issued photo identification if such identification indicates that the applicant is a United States citizen or if such identification is otherwise accompanied by proof of United States citizenship.

(b) To identify unqualified voters registered in the States:

(i) the Secretary of Homeland Security shall, consistent with applicable law, ensure that State and local officials have, without the requirement of the payment of a fee, access to appropriate systems for verifying the citizenship or immigration status of individuals registering to vote or who are already registered;

Kollar-Kotelly sided with far-left Democratic groups that sued the Trump administration for having the audacity to demand that voters in US elections are actually US citizens.

The judge said Trump’s executive order violates the Constitution’s separation of powers.

The Trump Administration is expected to appeal the judge’s ruling.

In 2024, this wicked judge sent an elderly pro-Life protester to prison for two years for peacefully protesting outside an abortion center.

Paulette Harlow, who is now 76 years old, participated in a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic in 2020 and didn’t hurt anyone.

Judge Kollar-Kotelly taunted the poor woman in the courtroom and mocked her for her Christian faith.

Iran Without a Plan

Iran Without a Plan

The administration risks repeating the Iraq debacle as farce.

The United States is steamrolling toward another Middle East crisis of its own making. A second American-Israeli attack on Iran seems almost inevitable—this time likely to be far deadlier for all involved parties. President Donald Trump has surged military assets to the region, threatening that “time is running out” for Tehran to make a deal. He is even reportedly considering using U.S. special forces to launch ground raids against nuclear and ballistic missile infrastructure and other regime targets.

Yet what Trump hopes to achieve remains unclear. Washington has failed to articulate a clear endgame in Iran. Force has become an end in itself, detached from clear and achievable strategic goals.

Proceeding down this path risks disaster. Further U.S. military action against Iran would not be aimed at protecting concrete interests, but at advancing a failed regional agenda that has guided American Middle East policy for decades. Vague objectives, inflated threat perceptions, and regime-change fantasies threaten to pull the U.S. into a costly war that Americans do not want. Trump should immediately pivot toward negotiations with Tehran with realistic expectations.

Current calls for war represent the latest iteration of a multi-decade cycle of policy inertia and special interests pushing the United States toward military confrontation with Iran. This push received new impetus following the series of losses to Iran’s strategic position in the two years since Hamas’s terror attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, and Israel’s subsequent war in Gaza. As Israel escalated against Iran’s regional proxies and the Islamic Republic directly, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—who has lobbied for U.S.-led regime change in Iran for nearly three decades—and hawks in Washington hoped to pressure Trump into capitalizing on this vulnerability.

At first, Trump resisted the pressure for military action against Iran. But after five rounds of talks, progress stalled, thanks primarily to Washington being pressured by Israel and its supporters into adopting the poison-pill demand of zero domestic enrichment of uranium. Ultimately, Trump caved, first greenlighting Israel’s attacks on Iran and then joining the war by striking three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. Afterwards, he claimed the strikes “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program—a claim contradicted by both American intelligence and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Israel initiated the “12-Day War” against Iran under the dubious pretext of preventing Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon—something Israeli officials have claimed has been imminent for decades, despite U.S. intelligence estimates to the contrary. In reality, Israel’s attacks were not about preempting an imminent threat, but instead an opening salvo to a conflict Netanyahu and his allies hoped would result in regime change.

Now, Israel and hawks in Washington are demanding the United States go back in. Israel first predicated the need for new strikes on targeting Iran’s ballistic missile program. Then, the narrative shifted toward the need to protect Iranian protesters after the outbreak of a mass upheaval rallying against a growing economic crisis inside Iran. This constant moving of the goalposts reflects a sustained effort by these same actors to push the United States toward pursuing regime change in Tehran. For both Israel and hawks in Washington, the greatest problem with Iran has never been its nuclear program, its ballistic missiles, or its authoritarian nature—it remains the regime itself.

Trump has taken the bait. He seems more interested in capitulation than negotiations, demanding that Tehran abandon domestic uranium enrichment, curb its ballistic missile program, and end support for its regional proxies. Yet the idea that Iran would willingly render itself more vulnerable after the losses it incurred over the past two years defies even basic logic. Negotiations will fail if the U.S. enters with these maximalist demands—something proponents of American strikes on Iran are counting on.

New U.S. or Israeli strikes would not be about preempting an imminent threat, let alone freeing the Iranian people from tyranny—they would more likely be geared toward regime degradation and/or collapse. The lack of even ostensible rationales for renewed military action in Iran is glaring. Washington is frantically reaching for justifications to support an already predetermined course of action.

There is no clear endgame to Trump’s Iran plan. Airstrikes alone will not collapse the regime. Nor is the punitive use of force a realistic option for brokering a diplomatic agreement with Iran. Trump’s demands are even greater this time around, which risks repeating the same failures that led to the 12-Day War.

Assuming U.S. strikes would be a one-and-done operation risks triggering a dangerous escalation spiral. Those clamoring for American military action are likely to press for sustained engagement to ensure the regime’s demise and manage an internal transition. They are pushing a maximalist agenda and will keep moving the goalposts until Washington pursues their preferred course of action.

Nor is renewed military action likely to help Iranian protesters. Despite the breadth of the protests, elite cohesion held and the security apparatus remained loyal to the regime, allowing it to squash the uprising through brutal repression. It should go without saying that Iranians, like all people, deserve to live free and determine their own future. But they should not be treated as political pawns.

There is no evidence that military action would rekindle this movement or empower it to the point of regime collapse. The Iranian opposition remains deeply divided, and hawkish American policies toward Iran have historically empowered regime hardliners. There is no surer way to undermine domestic opposition to the regime in Tehran than by appropriating their struggle to justify foreign military intervention.

To think that Washington can successfully engineer and sustain a new status quo inside Iran through military force epitomizes the fantastical thinking that has guided American Middle East policy for decades. Any meaningful reform must be self-sustaining and cannot be externally imposed.

The current course of action carries tremendous risks for the U.S. and the region. There is a high likelihood that the regime will view the combination of renewed strikes and recent domestic unrest as an existential threat, resulting in greater retaliation against the U.S. and its regional partners than before. Tehran will want to signal that periodic American or Israeli attacks inside Iran will not become routine. Iranian officials have indicated as much, claiming Tehran would respond to renewed US or Israeli military action with greater force than during the 12-Day War.

Despite the considerable losses incurred over the past two years, Iran retains the ability and resources necessary to respond decisively. This risks not only destabilizing the Middle East, but also endangering the lives of the roughly 40,000 U.S. troops in the region while dragging the United States into a protracted conflict at a time when it is considerably overextended abroad.

Bombing Iran risks repeating the past mistakes of U.S. military interventions in the Middle East. Trump’s window to change course is closing fast. Diplomacy remains the sole means of averting another regional crisis.

Missouri AG Catherine Hanaway Files Lawsuit to Block Census from Counting Illegal Aliens – Calls for Census Recount

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway filed a first-in-the-nation lawsuit to block the census from counting illegal aliens.

AG Hathaway is also calling for a census recount.

In her announcement on Friday, Hathaway says Missouri is suing the census bureau for unconstitutionally allowing illegal aliens to commandeer the path to the White House and compromise the nation’s elections.

Hanaway says the current system is unfair and the State of Missouri and its voters can no longer ignore the ongoing denial of their right to self-government and fair representation.

From her statement:

The DOC and the Census Bureau’s current policy of counting illegal aliens in the census tabulation is unjust, unlawful, and unconstitutional. Attorney General Hanaway is demanding a Census recount and that the Court prohibit the inclusion of illegal aliens in the Census.

Federal representation is being stolen from states who uphold immigration law, including Missouri, and transferred to sanctuary states who artificially inflate their population by harboring illegal aliens. Attorney General Hanaway will not allow open-border states like California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Maryland to steal an estimated 11 congressional seats, 11 electoral votes, and billions of dollars in funding.

Prior to the 1980 Census, the Carter Administration unilaterally decided that all illegal aliens and temporary visa holders should be counted in the decennial Census and included in the apportionment of congressional representation. The framers of the Constitution and the Fourteenth Amendment would have been shocked by this policy. They could never have imagined an absurd system where 15 million illegal alien trespassers would receive representation in Congress and the Electoral College.

In July of 2020, President Trump issued a memorandum requiring the Secretary of Commerce to exclude illegal aliens from the decennial apportionment base, even though illegal aliens were counted in the 2020 Census. California and New York immediately sued against the President’s action. Ultimately, the Supreme Court vacated all the injunctions, but these legal delays opened the door for the Biden Administration to reverse course and include illegal aliens in the apportionment base for federal representation.

If President Trump had succeeded in excluding illegal aliens from the 2021 apportionment, Missouri would have received an extra congressional seat and an extra vote in the Electoral College. Instead, the Biden Administration hijacked the representation of Missourians by reversing the Trump Administration’s action.

The inclusion of illegal aliens robs Missouri and its citizens of federal funding and private funding that they would otherwise receive.

Hanaway told Clay Travis and Buck Sexton on Friday, “If we win, not only will 11 House seats be reallocated from places like California to places like Missouri, but with those House seats also go electoral votes.”
