President Trump told Congressional Republicans on Monday that “No other president could do some of this sh*t I’m doing” as he bragged about his accomplishments with trade negotiations and lowering costs for Americans. 

Trump delivered remarks to the Republican Members’ Issues Conference at his Trump National Doral resort in Miami, where he discussed his agenda, the midterms, and the war in Iran.

While touting his negotiations with foreign leaders and drug manufacturers to secure Most-Favored-Nations pricing for prescription drugs sold in the US, Trump mocked foreign leaders by mimicking their accents as they haggled with him to keep their drug prices low at the expense of American consumers.

“They were saying, ‘No, no, no, we cannot do this. We will not do this.’ I said, ‘Yes, you will 100%,’” he said in reference to his discussions with foreign leaders.

“In the case of Emanuel [Macron], I said, a 100% tariff on all wines and champagnes coming into the United States. ‘No, no, Donald! You cannot do that.’”

Trump then hilariously told the crowd of GOP lawmakers, “I don’t want to brag, but, you know, they said this about a lot of things. No other president could do some of this sh*t I’m doing, no other president.”

Trump went on to demand that Congress codify his successes with legislation. “Now we have Most-Favored-Nation pricing into permanent law, and you should codify it. But I don’t care that much about codifying it because what politician is going to agree to increase drug prices by 500%, okay?” he said.

While noting there are “other things you should codify,” Trump told Republicans, “This one, you should codify because you want to take credit for it.” He further slammed the Democrats, saying, “But if you don’t, no president’s going to raise it, in my opinion, although they are crazy, you know? These people are crazy. They could find a way. You better get it codified.”

No other president could do some of this sh*t I’m doing, no other president.

The things I’m doing, nobody else was going to do. They say it all the time, sir, could you do this? You’re the only one can do it. But we got it done, and we got the countries to all go along, because I said, if you don’t do it, I’m going to raise your tariffs to 200% to 150%, and that’s 10 times more than I’m asking for. And every single one— if it took me five minutes, that was like a long time. I was doing badly with that one.

So, now we have Most-Favored-Nation pricing into permanent law, and you should codify it. But I don’t care that much about codifying it because what politician is going to agree to increase drug prices by 500% okay? So, but it’s still good to have it codified. Don’t you agree? You know they’re saying, sir, we have to codify it. I said, that’s okay, but I’m not— other things you should codify, that I can tell you. This one, you should codify because you want to take credit for it. You want to take credit for it. So, if you can please codify it. Get out there and codify. You’re getting an 80%, 85%, 55%, 70% reduction in drug prices. Codify it. But if you don’t, no president’s going to raise it, in my opinion, although they are crazy, you know? These people are crazy. They could find a way. You better get it codified.

In yet another blatant betrayal of President Donald Trump and the America First agenda, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) has once again shown his true RINO colors by flatly refusing to make any changes to Senate rules that would allow the critical SAVE America Act to pass.

This comes as Trump ramps up pressure on the GOP establishment to secure our elections before the midterms, but Thune is more interested in protecting the swamp than fighting for the American people.

“Yeah, that’s not going to happen,” Thune said on Monday when pressed by ABC News about altering the Senate’s 60-vote threshold to advance legislation.

This stonewalling directly undermines Trump’s urgent call to pass the SAVE America Act, which would crack down on voter fraud and ensure only American citizens vote in our elections.

“The president clearly is very interested in getting the SAVE America bill up and voted on, although he wants a modified version of it, and so we’ll do our best to do that,” Thune said, paying lip service to Trump’s demands while admitting he can’t – or won’t – guarantee results.

“But the one thing I’ve said all along is, and I’ve told him and others, that I can’t guarantee an outcome. I can’t guarantee a result. If the result is only achieved by nuking the legislative filibuster, we don’t have the votes to do that and so that’s not a — that’s just not a realistic option.”

This spineless stance follows Trump’s explosive Sunday post on his social media platform, where he threatened to veto all legislation until the SAVE America Act lands on his desk.

“Great Job by hard working Scott Pressler on Fox & Friends talking about using the Filibuster, or Talking Filibuster, in order to pass THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, an 88% issue with ALL VOTERS. It must be done immediately. It supersedes everything else. MUST GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE.

“I, as President, will not sign other Bills until this is passed, AND NOT THE WATERED DOWN VERSION – GO FOR THE GOLD: MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. & PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS EXCEPT FOR MILITARY – ILLNESS, DISABILITY, TRAVEL: NO MEN IN WOMEN’S SPORTS: NO TRANSGENDER MUTILIZATION FOR CHILDREN! DO NOT FAIL!!!”

Trump even floated the idea of a “talking filibuster” to bypass the current rules.

But Thune poured cold water on that too, warning that without rule changes, it could turn into a “monthslong” ordeal wasting precious Senate time, according to ABC News.

“Our time in the Senate is a finite resource and it’s something that we need to use wisely and well to get as much done as we can,” Thune lectured, as if protecting our democracy from fraud isn’t the top priority.

Last month, Thune admitted that his colleagues from the RINO club are “not unified” on using the talking filibuster to force a vote on the SAVE Act.

This isn’t Thune’s first rodeo in backstabbing Trump. Senate Majority Leader John Thune unveiled a procedural scheme to block President Donald Trump from making any critical appointments during the August recess, effectively aiding the Democrats’ obstructionist agenda.

Under the U.S. Constitution, the president can make “recess appointments,” temporary appointments to federal positions, if the Senate is in recess and not conducting business. These appointments don’t require immediate Senate confirmation and can last until the end of the next session of Congress.

But there’s a loophole: if the Senate holds pro forma sessions, very short, symbolic meetings where no actual business is conducted, then technically, the Senate is still in session. That means the president cannot legally make recess appointments during that time.

CBS News reported:

Rep. Kevin Kiley of California said Monday he was immediately leaving the Republican Party to become an independent.

“I’m also today asking the clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives to have that reflected in the official roster,” Kiley said in a call with reporters.

The move complicates House Speaker Mike Johnson’s narrow majority, though Kiley said he plans to caucus with the Republican Party “for the remainder of this term.”

“That is how I was elected to begin this term,” he said.

But Kiley would not say whether he would be a reliable vote for Johnson during procedural votes. Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, can afford to lose one vote, if all members are present and voting.

Last Friday, Kevin Kiley blasted Newsom and the California Democrats for gerrymandering and announced he would be switching parties:

Gerrymandering is a plague on democracy, one that Gavin Newsom has brought back to California. But there’s a way we can fight back and protect our democracy from his partisan games: by removing partisanship from the equation. Today, I filed for reelection as “No Party Preference.”

This means I will not have a party affiliation on the ballot or as an officeholder. That’s how it already is with most offices in our state: mayors, city councilors, school board members, county supervisors, sheriffs, and DAs are all nonpartisan.

As an elected representative, I’ve always seen my role as being an independent voice for our community, holding politicians in Sacramento and Washington accountable to serve my constituents. I answer to you, not party leaders. That’s the kind of representation I believe the newly-drawn Sixth District deserves.

It is no secret I’ve been frustrated, at times disgusted, by the hyper-partisanship in Congress. In the last year it’s led to the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, a massive increase in healthcare costs, and of course, a pointless redistricting war. The epidemic of gerrymandering has spread from Texas to California to states all across the country. Both parties are complicit.

If there is one thing Americans agree on, it is that political division has become a serious problem for our country. We need to find ways for politics to bring us together as Americans rather than tear us apart as partisans. That means, for example, finding pragmatic solutions to make life more affordable rather than each side blaming the other for why it isn’t.

We are also living in a moment of dramatic transformation, where technological change could bring incredible opportunities along with unfamiliar risks and dislocations. The ordinary rituals of partisan politics are simply inadequate in these extraordinary times – are simply incapable of meeting this generational challenge. Our ability to work as one team, serving all Americans, is now more important than ever.

Mark it down: In 2028, Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom’s presidential candidacy will not survive the New Hampshire primary.

Likewise, former Vice President Kamala Harris might make it a bit further, but not much.

Why the bold forecast? Well, in a poll of 1,000 registered voters conducted between Feb. 27 and March 3, NBC News found that Harris and especially Newsom have comparatively low favorability ratings even among Democrats.

Incredibly, only 52 percent of Democrats reported positive views of the California governor. If only half of voters in your own party like you, then how can you possibly win a national election?

For comparison’s sake, Harris earned a 67 percent favorability rating among Democrats.

Of course, one might argue that Harris, who already ran a national campaign, benefits from name recognition.

That explanation, however, does not account for the fact that Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, who, like Newsom, has never run a national campaign, matched Harris’ popularity by earning a favorable rating from nearly two-thirds of Democrats.

In other words, Democrat voters have taken their candidates’ measure, and in each case, at least one-third of those voters have found the candidates lacking.

From there, the news got even worse for all three leading Democrat contenders.

First of all, Vice President J.D. Vance, widely seen as the current Republican front-runner for the party’s 2028 presidential nomination, received a 77 percent favorability rating among Republicans — a 10-point advantage inside his own party compared to Harris and Ocasio-Cortez, and a whopping 25-point advantage over Newsom.

Second, Harris and Newsom fared poorly with the broader electorate. Among all voters surveyed, only 34 percent gave Harris a favorable rating, compared to 51 percent unfavorable. Newsom, the less-established national candidate, had lower numbers in both categories: 27 percent favorable and 45 percent unfavorable.

On the whole, those numbers align with voters’ views of the two parties in general.

For instance, whereas the Republican Party (51 percent) had essentially the same negative rating as the Democratic Party (52 percent) among all voters, the GOP scored a 37 percent favorable rating compared to only 30 percent for the Democrats.

As for voters’ satisfaction with their own parties, Republican voters gave the GOP a 77 percent favorable rating. Only 62 percent of Democrats, however, did likewise for their party.

Nor does the NBC News poll look like an outlier. In fact, according to the RealClearPolling aggregate of polls, Republicans currently enjoy a six-point edge over Democrats in net favorability.

Of course, the same polling aggregator shows Democrats leading Republicans by 4.4 percentage points in the generic 2026 midterm ballot.

In other words, voters despise Democrats in general, but they also hate the way Republicans in Congress have governed. Considering the results thus far, who could blame them?

In short, when it comes to the electoral landscape, we all know that Republicans have their problems. But, how would you like to be the Democrats and have to pretend that Harris, Ocasio-Cortez, or Newsom are serious human beings, let alone presidential quality?

Indeed, according to this NBC poll and others like it, the GOP’s problems pale in comparison to what Harris and especially Newsom will have to overcome.

Three B-52 Stratofortress bombers, capable of carrying 70,000 lbs of munitions, landed in the UK on Monday amid the Pentagon’s plans to expand military strikes in Iran. 

The war with Iran kicked off its second week on Saturday after US and Israeli forces launched attacks that took out Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and dozens of senior Iranian officials.

Now the US is expanding air operations.

During a press conference last Wednesday, War Secretary Pete Hegseth said the B-52s would be among the airpower used “controlling the skies, picking targets,” and bringing “death and destruction from the sky all day long.”

“As President Trump said, more and larger waves are coming. We are just getting started. We are accelerating, not decelerating,” he added.

“Now with complete control of the skies, we will be using 500-pound, 1,000-pound, and 2,000-pound GPS and laser-guided precision gravity bombs, of which we have a nearly unlimited stockpile.”

General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, further told reporters that US forces will now “expand inland, striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory and creating additional freedom of maneuver for US forces.”

Caine: As of this morning, US Central Command is making steady progress. Iran’s theater ballistic missile shots fired are down 86% from the first day of fighting, with a 23% decrease just in the last 24 hours. And their one-way attack drone shots are down 73% from the opening days. This progress has allowed CENTCOM to establish localized air superiority across the southern flank of the Iranian coast and penetrate their defenses with overwhelming precision and firepower. We will now begin to expand inland, striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory, and creating additional freedom of maneuver for US forces. Let me explain a little bit about how we’re thinking about staying ahead of the enemy.

First, over the past several weeks, Admiral Cooper and the CENTCOM team have refined their operational approach to the region. Their planners identified key centers of gravity that would allow Iran to project power outside of its borders. They thought about how to isolate critical vulnerabilities and determine where, with precision, the greatest strategic effect could be achieved. As a result of this, CENTCOM is now shifting in day four, already, from large deliberate strike packages using standoff munitions at range outside an enemy’s ability to shoot at us, now into stand-in precision strikes overhead Iran.

As the Secretary said, this is a point of munitions transition from standoff munitions to stand-in munitions like joint direct attack munitions, which are GPS-aided free-fall weapons and other things like Hellfires, etc. This will allow the joint force to deliver significantly increased precision effects on the target. The throttle is coming up, as the Secretary said, as opposed to ramping down. This will allow us to maintain consistent pressure on the adversary over the coming days, disrupt their launch timelines, and impose cost every day around the clock.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who initially refused to grant the US permission to use the UK’s airbases to attack Iran, said the build up at Fairford was necessary to defend the West from Iran’s alleged “scorched-earth strategy.”

Following the start of Operation Epic Fury, the Islamic Republic began a mass retaliation attack across the Middle East, threatening US and European allies.

The US has now deployed B-52s for the first time during the conflict, with the Cold-War era bombers capable of launching nuclear warheads, cruise missiles and other heavy bombs more than 1,500 miles away.

They were first introduced in 1952 and are one of the oldest aircraft designs still operating in the US military.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed that Dr. Vinay Prasad is leaving the agency for the second time in less than a year.

Prasad, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), will depart at the end of April, with no successor named yet.

Prasad was appointed in 2025 to lead the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), the division responsible for regulating vaccines, blood products, and gene therapies.

Prasad’s first departure came in July 2025, when he abruptly resigned after only a few months in the role following an explosive exposé led by investigative journalist Laura Loomer.

The Gateway Pundit reported last year that Loomer publicly exposed Prasad’s shocking anti-Trump rhetoric, far-left allegiances, and dangerous abuse of regulatory power.

“We have a crisis at the FDA! A wolf in sheep’s clothing is sabotaging President Trump’s bold “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda!” Loomer wrote on X.

Loomer continued, “This is no mere bureaucratic misstep. It’s a catastrophic vetting failure that threatens to derail the America First healthcare revolution. Prasad’s anti-Trump rhetoric, radical left-wing ideology, and deliberate actions to obstruct our President’s deregulatory mission prove he’s a dangerous misfit. The time to act is NOW—Prasad must be REMOVED before he destroys Trump’s vision for a healthier America!”

According to Loomer:

In 2021, Prasad described himself as a “political liberal, closest to Elizabeth Warren” and a “Sanders/Warren liberal,” proudly embracing a progressive identity. He voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary, and FEC records reveal he donated to Sanders’ campaign, signaling his support for radical left-wing policies.

In 2020, Prasad declared on X that he wanted “Biden to win more than anything” and confirmed he voted against Trump, solidifying his opposition to the President.

Prasad’s policy positions are a direct affront to the conservative principles underpinning Trump’s agenda. He advocates for universal basic income, student loan forgiveness, open borders, and Roe v. Wade abortion standards. He supports a 50% marginal tax rate for high earners, a wealth tax, single-payer healthcare, universally funded pre-K and community college, and expansive parental leave policies.

Prasad’s disdain for Trump is personal and vitriolic. He has called the President “perhaps the worst president in the history of the Republic.” Prasad has claimed that Trump disagreed with him “on probably 90% of issues.” He compared Trump’s family separation immigration policy to a “human rights violation” worthy of the International Criminal Court. Prasad mocked his election fraud claims as “laughable and pathetic,” and called January 6 “a terrible day.” Further, he even attacked Trump University as a “scam.” Prasad consistently refers to the President as “orange man.” This is a derogatory jab used by the radical Left to attack Trump over his tan skin. Prasad has a strong admiration for Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he dubbed “St. Anthony of Fauci” with “profound reverence.” Thisfurther highlights his alignment with figures Trump has criticized, particularly over the COVID-19 response.

Since assuming control of CBER at the FDA, Prasad has amassed unprecedented power. He holds three key FDA roles: Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Director of CBER. Reports suggest he is under consideration to lead the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). This could make him more influential than FDA Commissioner Marty Makary. Moreover, this consolidation of authority in the hands of a Trump antagonist and avowed Leftist is a recipe for disaster. Prasad’s actions further demonstrate a clear intent to undermine President Trump’s vision.

The pressure became too much, and Prasad quietly stepped down from his roles as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER).

But the exit was short-lived.

After strong support from FDA leadership and health officials, Prasad returned to the agency less than two weeks later, resuming his role overseeing vaccines and advanced biologic treatments.

Now Prasad is leaving again, this time after months of escalating disputes with biotech companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

FDA Commissioner Marty Makary announced the news to FDA staff in an email late Friday, saying Prasad would depart at the end of April. Makary said Prasad would return to his academic job at the University of California, San Francisco.

In the last month, Prasad has come under fire from pharmaceutical executives, investors, members of Congress and other critics for multiple decisions at the agency.

First, Prasad initially refused to allow the FDA to review a highly anticipated flu vaccine from drugmaker Moderna made with mRNA technology. The rejection of the application, highly unusual for the FDA, prompted Moderna to go public with Prasad’s decision and vow to formally challenge it.

A week after the rejection became public, the FDA reversed course and said it would accept the shot for review after all, pending an additional study from Moderna.

Then, in the past week, the FDA engaged in a highly unusual public fight with a small drug company developing an experimental treatment for Huntington’s Disease, a fatal condition that affects about 40,000 people in the U.S.

The company, UniQure, said Monday that the FDA was demanding a new trial of its gene therapy that would involve performing a sham surgery on some of the patients in the trial. The company’s gene therapy is injected directly into the brain during a surgical procedure.

Company executives said the request for a sham-controlled trial contradicted previous FDA guidance and raised ethical concerns for patients.

Today, reacting to Iran’s efforts to close the vital waterways of the Strait of Hormuz, US President Donald J. Trump urged the shipping companies to ‘show some guts’ and defy the mullahs’ prohibition.

And that’s exactly what apparently happened to a Greek-operated ship holding a million barrels of Saudi crude.

Apparently, the tanker sailed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent days, as one of the first large vessels to leave the Persian Gulf.

One tanker made the move. Now the whole market is watching.

Bloomberg reported:

“The Shenlong tanker, which is operated by Greece’s Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd., switched off its transponder in the Persian Gulf on March 4 while sailing toward Hormuz and began signaling near India’s coastline on Monday morning, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg.

Traders have been closely looking for any sign that ship traffic is beginning to move through Hormuz. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said in an interview with Fox News over the weekend that a tanker had made the journey through.”

“The Shenlong Suezmax, with a capacity of 1 million barrels, is carrying Saudi Arabian crude loaded at the port of Ras Tanura and is listing its destination as the Indian port of Mumbai, according to analysis from maritime data platforms Kpler, Lloyd’s List Intelligence, and MarineTraffic.

[…] Hundreds of ships remain anchored on both sides of the waterway as oil and shipping markets watch for any sign that sailings ⁠might pick up through the narrow corridor, which handles a large share of global crude flows.

A senior official with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards has said the ​strait is closed and Iran will fire on any ship trying to pass, Iranian media reported last week.”

As The Gateway Pundit has extensively reported, Iran has long threatened to unleash sleeper cells within the United States if provoked, a nightmare scenario made possible by the millions of unvetted illegals who poured across our southern border during the disastrous Biden years.

Just last June, TGP revealed how Iran explicitly warned President Trump that it would activate these hidden terror networks if the U.S. dared to strike its nuclear facilities.

The intercepted transmission, likely of Iranian origin, was relayed across multiple countries shortly after Khamenei’s well-deserved demise in the U.S.-Israeli joint operation.

The alert, reviewed by ABC News, cites “preliminary signals analysis” of a transmission “likely of Iranian origin” that was relayed across multiple countries shortly after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, was killed in a U.S.-Israeli attack on Feb. 28.

The intercepted transmission was encoded and appeared to be destined for “clandestine recipients” who possess the encryption key, the kind of message intended to impart instructions to “covert operatives or sleeper assets” without the use of the internet or cellular networks.

It’s possible the transmissions could “be intended to activate or provide instructions to prepositioned sleeper assets operating outside the originating country,” the alert said.

“While the exact contents of these transmissions cannot currently be determined, the sudden appearance of a new station with international rebroadcast characteristics warrants heightened situational awareness,” the alert said.

While the alert is careful to say there is “no operational threat tied to a specific location,” it does instruct law enforcement agencies to increase their monitoring of suspicious radio-frequency activity.

If the contents of the alert prove true, it would confirm the fears expressed by law enforcement officials after the U.S. and Israel struck Iran that sleeper cells deployed around the West could be used for retaliation.

A federal judge on Monday fired three new leaders in the US Attorney’s Office for New Jersey.

US District Judge Matthew Brann, an Obama appointee, said the current leadership in New Jersey’s US Attorney’s Office exceeds the Attorney General’s authority.

“One year into this administration, it is plain that President Trump and his top aides have chafed at the limits on their power set forth by law and the Constitution. To avoid these roadblocks, this administration frequently purports to have discovered enormous grants of executive power hidden in the vagaries and silences of the code,” Judge Brann wrote.

“I conclude that the current leadership structure for the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey exceeds the Attorney General’s statutory authority to appoint inferior officers and delegate them powers and therefore constitutes a unilateral appointment in violation of the Appointments Clause,” the judge wrote.

DOJ official Alina Habba responded to Judge Brann’s order.

Habba called the judge’s decision unconstitutional and a complete overreach.

In August, US District Judge Mathew Brann said Alina Habba is “not lawfully holding the Office of US Attorney” of New Jersey.

The Pennsylvania-based federal judge oversaw a challenge to Alina Habba’s authority because the judges in New Jersey had a conflict of interest after they ousted her from her position as interim US Attorney last month.

A group of federal judges last summer declined to extend Alina Habba’s term as interim US Attorney of New Jersey after Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries launched a pressure campaign to oust her.

Habba previously resigned as Interim US Attorney and became Acting US Attorney for New Jersey after the Trump DOJ outmaneuvered the judges.

However, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals previously upheld the ruling that found Habba was serving in her position unlawfully.
