Nearly 37 Million Pounds of Frozen Food Recalled After Being Sold Across the Country

Empty grocery store shelves labeled for mushrooms, indicating low stock and potential supply chain issues.

If you’ve got some frozen Asian food in your freezer, you may want to double check it.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a “Class I” recall of Ajinomoto Foods North America products that had been sold across the country under various labels.

In total, an eye-watering 36,987,575 pounds of frozen foods are being recalled.

The USDA noted that “various ready-to-eat (RTE) and NRTE chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai dumpling products” are included in this recall.

Of note, this is an expansion of an already-existing Ajinomoto recall.

The expanded recall now includes products made between Oct. 21, 2024, and Feb. 26, 2026.

The products were sold under brand names Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe’s.

Given the breadth of those brand names, this recall is particularly concerning. The recalled items were shipped to retailers across the country.

In fact, certain products were also exported to Canada and Mexico.

The issue at hand is a simple — but very dangerous — one. Multiple consumers had complained to the manufacturer that they had found shards of glass in their food.

Upon investigation, it was eventually determined that the carrot source used in the various products was likely what had been contaminated by glass.

Thankfully, the USDA noted that there “have been no confirmed reports of injury due to consumption of this product.”

Despite that, the USDA also warned that if you have any concerns you may have accidentally ingested glass, you should contact your local healthcare provider.

The recalled products bear the establishment number P-18356, P-18356B, or P-47971 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Additionally, the recalled products have best-by dates that can range from Feb. 28, 2026, to Aug. 19, 2027.

The previous recall had affected nearly 33 million pounds of frozen food, according to KTLA-TV.

Trump’s Gulf of Hormuz Maritime Security and Insurance Proposal

Following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran beginning February 28, 2026, a senior IRGC official declared the Strait of Hormuz closed and threatened to set ablaze any vessel attempting to transit. The strait is one of the most important global energy chokepoints, carrying about 20 percent of the world’s oil supply, roughly 20.3 million barrels per day in 2024.

An Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander said Iran would fire on any ship attempting to transit the vital 21-mile-wide waterway, and an IRGC senior adviser said, “The Strait of Hormuz is closed. If anyone tries to pass, the heroes of the Revolutionary Guards and the regular navy will set those ships ablaze.” The claim was later disputed by U.S. Central Command.

The threat triggered a swift and broad withdrawal from the maritime insurance market. By Monday, March 2, most of the world’s protection and indemnity (P&I) clubs, the mutual insurers that cover third-party liabilities for roughly 90 percent of the global merchant fleet, began issuing notices cancelling war risk extensions for vessels trading in the Middle East, giving 72 hours’ notice. The move was triggered by the withdrawal of reinsurance for those risks.

Japan’s MS&AD Insurance Group also suspended underwriting of war risk policies covering waters around Iran, Israel, and neighboring countries. Major shipping firms including Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, and MSC diverted ships elsewhere.

War risk premiums surged to as high as 1 percent of a ship’s value within 48 hours, up from around 0.2 percent the prior week, adding hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs per shipment. For vessels traveling to the Persian Gulf but not planning to transit the strait, hull war cover rates also hit 1 percent of ship value for seven days, compared to around 0.25 percent before the conflict began. Hapag-Lloyd introduced a War Risk Surcharge of $1,500 per 20-foot equivalent unit for cargo to and from the Arabian Gulf.

The result was a de facto closure: by March 3, only four vessels crossed the strait, a sharp drop from the seven-day average of roughly 77 crossings. At least five tankers were damaged, two personnel killed, and around 150 ships stranded. “The war insurance market is facing what is essentially a de facto close of the Strait of Hormuz, based primarily around perception of threat rather than a tangible blockade,” said Munro Anderson of marine war insurance specialist Vessel Protect.

Oil prices rose sharply following the conflict’s outbreak, surging more than 13 percent. The benchmark freight rate for Very Large Crude Carriers, used to ship 2 million barrels of oil from the Middle East to China, hit an all-time high of $423,736 per day. The average price of gasoline in the United States rose more than 11 cents overnight to about $3.11 per gallon. Analysts warned prices could reach $120 per barrel if Gulf producers exhaust storage capacity and are forced to cut production.

Iraq had already cut output by 1.5 million barrels per day. QatarEnergy halted LNG production after its facilities in Ras Laffan and Mesaieed were struck, sending gas prices soaring in Europe and Asia.

On March 3, President Trump announced two measures via Truth Social. First, he ordered the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to provide political risk insurance for all maritime trade traveling through the Gulf, particularly energy shipments, at a “very reasonable price” available to all shipping lines.

Second, he said: “If necessary, the United States Navy will begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible. No matter what, the United States will ensure the FREE FLOW of ENERGY to the WORLD.”

On the insurance side, JPMorgan analysts estimated that roughly 329 vessels are currently operating in the Persian Gulf, each requiring oil pollution, salvage, hull, and third-party liability insurance. That implies approximately $352 billion in maximum insurance coverage that private markets are no longer providing.

The DFC’s statutory risk exposure was $205 billion as of December 2025, meaning the potential demand already exceeds the agency’s legal capacity. Any program beyond those limits would require an act of Congress.

As of March 6, the International Underwriting Association and the International Union of Marine Insurers clarified that war risk cover remains available on a single-voyage basis under a specific agreement, but warned that “insurers will regularly re-examine their ability and willingness” to provide cover in the current fast-moving situation.

European nations have also begun deploying additional naval and air-defense forces to the region. France is sending the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and additional escorts to the Eastern Mediterranean. British F-35s and Typhoon fighters and French Rafale jets have been defending airspace over Cyprus, Jordan, Qatar, and UAE facilities. Air-defense systems across the region have intercepted more than 1,000 Iranian drones and several hundred missiles since the conflict began.

France, Germany, and the United Kingdom issued a joint statement condemning Iran’s missile campaign and warning they are prepared to take further defensive action, coordinating with the United States and regional allies to counter Iranian missile and drone capabilities at their sources if necessary.

Assuming President Trump can make the U.S. government-backed insurance program work, it will provide a tremendous amount of revenue for the United States. It also cuts Britain and other countries out of the maritime insurance game. The last time the Houthis were attacking ships going through the strait, they gave China safe passage, which gave Beijing a near monopoly on shipping.

But this time around, President Trump will be keeping the strait open for everyone, and he claims it will be at a reasonable cost. This should keep everyone in the game, not just China. Additionally, U.S. naval patrols escorting ships would hopefully deter attacks and help maintain security in the region.

After Years of “Death to America” Rhetoric — U.S. Strikes Demonstrate Iran Has No Allies

For decades, Iran has been pledging death to America and warning of the great firestorm that would be unleashed on the United States if Washington did not kowtow to the Iranian regime.

However, the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran have demonstrated that Iran has very limited power to do significant damage to the United States. Even more importantly, they have shown that Iran has no allies.

No state actors have come, or even offered to come, to Iran’s rescue. Iran’s proxy networks, a primary tool of its foreign policy, have remained relatively inactive.

At the same time, while a number of Western governments and American leftists criticize U.S. actions, Iran is bombing its neighbors. By attacking countries across the Gulf, Tehran is making it even less likely that any of them would enter the war on Iran’s side.

Since the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran began on February 28, Iranian counter-attacks have targeted at least ten countries.

Israel has been the target of only about 39 percent of Iran’s missile and drone salvos, with the majority directed at neighboring states hosting U.S. forces.

Hundreds of Iranian missiles and drones have struck locations in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, hitting U.S. military assets as well as civilian infrastructure, including airports, energy facilities, and residential buildings.

Gulf states have condemned the attacks as violations of international law and warned that they reserve the right to respond.

The United Arab Emirates was hit with 165 missiles and 541 drones through March 1 alone, killing three people and wounding 58.

Kuwait was targeted with 97 missiles and 283 drones, with at least three people reported killed.

Bahrain was struck by 45 missiles and nine drones, including attacks on the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Juffair and a drone strike on the Era residential tower in Manama.

Iran also fired 65 ballistic missiles and 12 drones at Qatar, striking the Mesaieed and Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas facilities and forcing a halt in LNG production.

Saudi Arabia was targeted in the Riyadh area and the Eastern Province, where Iranian drone strikes caused a fire at the Ras Tanura oil refinery.

Jordan was struck by 13 missiles and 36 drones, while explosions were reported near Erbil International Airport in Iraq, where Iranian-backed militias also independently targeted U.S. assets.

In Oman, two drones hit the port of Duqm despite Muscat’s earlier role as mediator between Washington and Tehran.

The attacks also reached beyond the Gulf. An Iranian drone struck a runway at the United Kingdom’s RAF Akrotiri base in Cyprus, causing minor damage.

In Azerbaijan, a drone exploded at Nakhchivan airport on March 5, prompting Baku to summon Iran’s top diplomat and warn of possible retaliation.

Syrian state media also reported a missile explosion in an industrial area of Suwayda that killed four people and injured others.

Iran also declared the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global oil shipping route, closed.

The strait runs between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, and an estimated 20 percent of global petroleum flows through it each year.

Threatening global oil shipments is akin to a threat to every nation on earth, essentially guaranteeing that no one is going to risk their troops to save Iran.

Russia and China, Iran’s two most important diplomatic partners, have condemned the U.S.-Israeli attacks as violations of international law and requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting, but neither has offered military support.

China condemned the killing of Khamenei as a violation of the UN Charter, while Russia described the attack as an “unprovoked act of armed aggression.” Despite the strong rhetoric, neither government has signaled any willingness to intervene directly.

Russia’s position is constrained by both treaty language and strategic priorities.

Although Moscow and Tehran signed a strategic partnership treaty in 2025, expanding cooperation in trade, defense coordination, and regional infrastructure, the agreement contains no mutual defense clause.

Russia had previously supported U.S.-Iran nuclear talks, offering to take enriched uranium from Iran. Analysts say Moscow is unlikely to act militarily given the high risks and its focus on Ukraine-related negotiations.

China’s constraints are structural. Beijing maintains a 25-year cooperation agreement with Tehran and receives the vast majority of Iran’s oil exports, but Iran represents a small share of China’s overall trade, making the relationship asymmetrical.

Chinese policy emphasizes non-interference, and analysts believe Beijing’s role will be limited to diplomacy and mediation aimed at preventing regional instability that could disrupt energy supplies or threaten its broader Middle East economic interests.

Iran’s proxy network has provided little meaningful support. Iran has long maintained allied armed groups across the Middle East as a “forward defence” network, but the military capacity of its two most important proxies, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, has been significantly degraded by the 2023–2025 conflicts.

Hamas condemned the U.S.-Israeli strikes but has not resumed fighting. Israel has closed crossings into Gaza, including for humanitarian workers, but no new combat has broken out there.

Hezbollah also condemned the strikes. The Lebanese government moved quickly to contain the group.

President Joseph Aoun stated on March 1 that “the decision of war and peace rests solely with the Lebanese state,” while Prime Minister Nawaf Salam warned he would not accept anyone “dragging the country into adventures that threaten its security and unity.”

Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Naim Qassem had declared earlier this year that the group would not remain neutral if Israel went to war against Iran.

After Khamenei’s killing, Hezbollah launched a limited rocket attack on Israel.

One analyst described it as “a handful of rockets” aimed at open areas rather than meaningful targets, calling it a mistake that gave Israel an excuse to strike Hezbollah harder. Another described it as “an act of strategic desperation.”

Salam responded by formally declaring all Hezbollah military and security activities illegal, ordering security forces to prevent further attacks from Lebanese territory, directing the Justice Ministry to arrest those responsible, and calling on Hezbollah to hand over its weapons to the state.

The move was the strongest stance against Hezbollah to date and notably gained the support of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, a longtime Hezbollah ally and leader of the Amal Movement.

Hezbollah has previously conditioned disarmament on full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, and the Lebanese armed forces have moved cautiously toward enforcement given the group’s substantial arsenal and deep support among Shia communities.

The Houthis in Yemen, Iran’s other major proxy, condemned the attack on Iran and had threatened retaliation if Iran were struck, but have not resumed attacks on Red Sea shipping, in contrast to their sustained campaign in support of Hamas from 2023 onward.

So far, six American service members have been killed. Meanwhile, the ayatollah is dead, along with at least 1,000 Iranian soldiers and numerous top IRGC and regime leaders.

An estimated 20 to 30 Iranian naval ships have been sunk, representing most of Iran’s naval fighting capacity, and about 300 missile sites have been destroyed.

The death and destruction Iran threatened to unleash on the United States has not materialized.

Instead, the remnants of the Iranian regime now stand alone against the overwhelming combined force of the United States and Israel.

President Trump has offered a full amnesty to Iranian security personnel, stating, “To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces and all of the police, I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons and have complete immunity. Or in the alternative, face certain death.”

Foreword by Newt Gingrich

The fight to restore honest elections just got a powerful new weapon.

On Thursday, March 5, former Army Captain of Military Intelligence and Afghanistan veteran Seth Keshel released his explosive new book, The American War on Election Corruption, from Post Hill Press.

In 19 hard-hitting chapters, Keshel delivers the unfiltered inside story of his journey from combat veteran to one of America’s most trusted voices on election integrity. He lays bare how dozens of “small” changes over the past few decades, all quietly pushed through by politicians, bureaucrats, and special interests, have turned our once-reliable voting system into something unrecognizable.

From the founding father of modern election fraud, William “Boss” Tweed, to the shocking anomalies of 2020 and the hard-won lessons of 2024, Keshel connects the dots with the precision of a military intelligence officer. This isn’t theory — it’s a battle-tested roadmap showing exactly how the corruption took root and, more importantly, how We the People can rip it out.

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and one of the most influential voices in conservative politics, authored the foreword and personally recorded himself reading it. In his foreword, Gingrich writes:

“The American War on Election Corruption provides the comprehensive, specific, and detailed framework necessary for every American concerned about the future of our representative government. Keshel’s knowledge and forecasting skill, rooted in the rigor of military intelligence, offer us a clear-eyed view of what has gone right, what has gone wrong, where the broken laws and anomalies exist, and, most importantly, what we must do to restore and maintain integrity in our electoral systems.”

Gingrich’s endorsement underscores the book’s seriousness. The American War on Election Corruption has already earned high praise from some of the biggest names in the America First movement:

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn: “The only person in America that I trust when it comes to the methods, systems, and processes of US elections.”
Kari Lake: “‘Captain K’ cuts through confusion to offer the clearest roadmap for restoring faith in our elections.”
Lara Logan: “I’ve learned some of my most significant things about election fraud from this man.”
Sean Spicer: “Has the receipts to show why Keshel nailed it in 2024 with models built on data.”
Rep. Eli Crane: “One of the brightest minds in the fight for election integrity.”
Historian Larry Schweikart: “No one knows the voter registration data, and what it means for elections, like Seth Keshel.”

Keshel, who holds an MBA and whose election forecasting models are known worldwide, was personally commended by President Donald J. Trump for his groundbreaking analytical work. His data-driven approach helped expose irregularities in real time and gave patriots the tools to fight back.

“This book is for the average American who knows something is deeply wrong with our elections but hasn’t yet seen the full picture” Keshel said. “It’s the first big effort to summarize this broad movement of patriots and give people the clearest path forward.”

The American War on Election Corruption is available starting today. Signed copies will be available directly from the author at upcoming events (email kesler.holly@gmail.com for any interest in scheduling a book tour event).

Tucker Carlson Responds After Trump Says He’s ‘Lost His Way’ and ‘Not MAGA’: “I’ll Always Love Him”

“Tucker Carlson,_Donald Trump” by Trong Khiem Nguyen, Public Domain Mark

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has responded to President Donald Trump after the commander-in-chief publicly declared that Carlson has “lost his way” and is no longer part of the MAGA movement.

This explosive feud erupted following Carlson’s relentless attacks on Trump’s decisive military strikes against Iran, which have crippled the terrorist regime and bolstered America’s security alongside our ally Israel.

President Trump, in an interview with ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, didn’t mince words about Carlson.

“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump stated firmly. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”

Trump’s comments come amid Carlson’s criticism of the Iran operation, which he labeled “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

Carlson, who reportedly visited the White House multiple times in recent weeks in a desperate bid to dissuade Trump from taking action against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, has veered dangerously off course.

His rants have even delved into wild conspiracy theories, linking the strikes to supposed Jewish plots involving the Chabad-Lubavitch movement and efforts to “rebuild the Third Temple.”

In response to Trump’s blistering rebuke, Carlson offered a tepid and affectionate reply to former CNN reporter and pro-censorship journo Oliver Darcy.

“There are times I get annoyed with Trump, right now definitely included,” Carlson admitted, before adding, “but I’ll always love him no matter what he says about me.”

For years, Carlson served as one of Trump’s most powerful media allies, amplifying the America First message to millions of viewers during his time at Fox News.

But the Iran conflict appears to have exposed a fault line between two factions: those who support aggressive action against hostile regimes and those who favor strict non-interventionism abroad.

SHOCKING VIDEO RESURFACES: Trump’s New DHS Pick Markwayne Mullin PRAISED and HUGGED the Cop Who MURDERED Unarmed Air Force Vet Ashli Babbitt – Called Him a Hero!

Representative Markwayne Mullin from Oklahoma speaking during a virtual meeting, with an American flag and framed pictures visible in the background.

Representative Markwayne Mullin from Oklahoma speaking during a virtual meeting, with an American flag and framed pictures visible in the background.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin during a July 2021 interview on C-SPAN.

A newly resurfaced video is raising eyebrows across conservative circles after comments from Sen. Markwayne Mullin, President Trump’s latest pick to head the Department of Homeland Security after removing Kristi Noem, praising and even hugging Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, the officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt.

Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and Trump supporter, was gunned down in cold blood on January 6, 2021, while peacefully protesting.

She was unarmed, posing no threat, yet Byrd fired a single shot that ended her life as she attempted to climb through a broken window in the Capitol.

But according to Mullin, Byrd is the real victim here! In an interview on C-SPAN from July 2021, six months after Babbitt was murdered, Mullin recounts the moments after the shooting.

“After it happened, he came over. He was physically and emotionally distraught. I actually gave him a hug and I said, ‘sir, you did what you had to do.’” Mullin went even further, telling investigators that he heard Byrd issue a warning before firing, a claim debunked by video evidence showing no such warning was given.

He told media outlets that Byrd “didn’t have a choice” and that his shot “saved people’s lives.”

Sen. Mullin: I guarantee you—I don’t know for a fact, but I guarantee you—he’s never had to pull his weapon in a manner like that before. He was the last person in the world who ever wanted to use force like that; he wasn’t wanting to do that.

I know for a fact because, after it happened, he came over and was physically and emotionally distraught, and I actually gave him a hug. And I said, “Sir, you did what you had to do.” And I mean that.

Unfortunately, for the young lady, her family’s life has changed. It was an unfortunate situation where she lost her life, and some people lost their loved ones.

But the lieutenant’s life has also changed, too, because if it’s the first time you’ve ever had to use lethal force, that doesn’t ever leave you.

And it wasn’t his choice; he didn’t show up to work that day to have to do that. He was doing his job, and he got put in a situation where he had to do his job because there was a member still on the balcony.

If you’re going to present your weapon in a [certain] manner and give commands, and they still don’t listen and they still approach, you don’t have a choice. Either you have to, at that point, discharge your weapon in a manner of self-defense, or that weapon is going to be taken away from you.

It’s going to be used on you, and it’s going to put all of our lives in danger, too.

WATCH:

As TGP’s Brian Lupo noted, video evidence captured Byrd shooting an unarmed Babbitt without warning as she attempted to climb through a narrow window near a barricaded entryway to the Speaker of the House’s office area in the U.S. Capitol.

Following an investigation, Byrd was cleared of any wrongdoing, although questions remain about the escalation to lethal force without attempts to subdue or detain Babbitt.

In addition to Byrd leaving his Glock 22 service weapon in a Visitor’s Center bathroom in February 2019, Byrd also had his police powers revoked on several occasions for failing to meet semi-annual firearms qualifications standards.

Byrd expressed defiance after being pressed about killing Babbitt during an NBC interview months following the killing. He claimed that he saved “countless lives” by killing Babbitt.

He also whined that he has been getting death threats since killing the Air Force veteran. The officer said that it was “disheartening” and that he was simply “doing my job.”

One day before the third anniversary of Jan. 6, that Judicial Watch filed a $30 million wrongful death suit against the federal government for the Capitol Police shooting of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court Southern District of California.

“Ashli loved her country and wanted to show her support for President Trump’s America First policies and to see and hear the president speak live while he remained in office. Ashli did not go to Washington as part of a group or for any unlawful or nefarious purpose. She was there to exercise what she believed were her God-given, American liberties and freedoms,” reads the complaint.

The filing continues, “After demonstrators filled the hallway outside the lobby, two individuals in the crowded, tightly packed hallway struck and dislodged the glass panels in the lobby doors and the right door sidelight. Lt. Byrd, who is a USCP commander and was the incident commander for the House on January 6, 2021, shot Ashli on sight as she raised herself up into the opening of the right door sidelight.

Lt. Byrd later confessed that he shot Ashli before seeing her hands or assessing her intentions or even identifying her as female. Ashli was unarmed. Her hands were up in the air, empty, and in plain view of Lt. Byrd and other officers in the lobby.“

The Washington Examiner reports that the suit was filed on behalf of Babbitt’s estate and her husband, Aaron Babbitt, and claims the officer who shot Babbitt was “incompetent” and “dangerous” and should have recognized Babbitt posed no threat to Congress when she entered the House speaker’s lobby.

“Judicial Watch is seeking accountability from the United States government, that is responsible for that awful and unjustified shooting death.”

“Remember, the only homicide on January 6 was the unlawful shooting death, as our lawsuit alleges, of poor Ashli Babbitt. She deserves justice.  She deserves accountability. And I tell you, Judicial Watch, and I know all of our supporters, are honored to be able to pursue this lawsuit to get justice for Ashli.”

In May 2025, the U.S. government agreed to pay nearly $5 million to Babbitt’s estate and family.

The settlement officially resolved the case, avoiding a jury trial that had previously been scheduled for July 20, 2026.

Disaster for Tucker Carlson as Literally Millions of His Nicotine Pouches Are Hijacked by LA Pirates

For the unaware, there is a new nicotine trend sweeping the nation decades after Joe Camel first tried to convince Americans that smoking was cool.

Nicotine pouches have become increasingly popular in recent years, preserving the most desired part of smoking tobacco (the buzz of a nicotine high) without actually inhaling smoke.

In fact, Men’s Health describes the pouch trend as “nicotine’s rebrand from a public health threat to a performance tool.”

Some people — like former Fox News pundit Tucker Carlson — swear by these pouches.

“He is a nicotine evangelist, if not the nicotine evangelist, and over the past five years, he sort of became synonymous with nicotine pouches,” Men’s Health wrote of Carlson.

“I love the taste,” Carlson told Men’s Health of nicotine pouches. “I love the convenience. And above all, I loved the full nicotine saturation of it. Maybe for the first time in 25 years, I felt like, oh, I have enough nicotine. And you can use it all day, from the second you wake up until the second you fall asleep. And I do.”

When the Men’s Health writer told Carlson that it sounded like he was addicted, the former newscaster’s response effectively admitted to it.

“Am I addicted? Yeah, in the same sense I’m addicted to eating or breathing or sex,” Carlson retorted. “I could stop doing it, but the benefits of doing it far outweigh the downsides. I haven’t seen a downside.”

There’s so much upside to these nicotine pouches that Carlson started his own brand of the product, looking to challenge the undisputed current king of nicotine pouches, Zyn.

That led Carlson to found ALP, a company that boasts “we love nicotine pouches, and we’re here to share that love” on its mission page.

But there’s a downside.

Due in no small part to the nicotine product’s growing popularity, there is legitimate demand for it — and illegitimate demand as well, apparently.

According to the New York Post, Carlson suffered a sizable loss last week when “a multimillion-dollar load of his ALP nicotine pouches vanished in a hijacking in Los Angeles.”

The truck that was hijacked was apparently en route to a Kentucky warehouse with millions of pouches across approximately 378,000 tins onboard.

It appears that the driver may have faked his credentials to gain access to the truck full of ALP pouches, though the incident is still under investigation.

But while that investigation proceeds, Carlson’s ALP company is taking a proactive approach to securing justice.

“ALP is launching a national manhunt offering a $100,000 reward for credible information that leads to the recovery of the stolen shipment or the conviction of those responsible,” the company posted to X on Wednesday.

The company added, “Contact tips@alppouch.com or local authorities with any information.”
