John Fetterman Slams Democrats for Not Supporting Iran Strikes: ‘They’re Afraid to Agree With Trump on ANYTHING’ (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

The most reasonable Democrat strikes again.

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania appeared on Watters’ World this week and slammed his own party for failing to support Trump’s strikes on Iran, suggesting that they’re basically too afraid to agree with him about anything.

Fetterman notes that all of the Democrats have been saying for years that Iran could not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Breitbart News has details:

Now, I remember the Iranian generals were saying that our ships were going to end at the bottom of the ocean, and that’s theirs. Like, look at that again. It’s on the screen right now. Boom! You know, like, I love it, you know what I mean? And so I don’t know why we can’t be on and just celebrate that, but I guarantee you, every single member of the Congress that you just had there said we can never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb. And now, now that that’s happened now, and now it’s made that impossible right now, and then we all agree. They all now say, well, we won’t — we won’t grieve, you know that the Ayatollah is gone.”

“So you know, when someone did that and made sure that possible, why can’t we, as a Democrat, just say, hey, I think that’s a good thing. I think that the world’s safer,” he continued. “I think it’s more just. And then I do think we have a possible path for real, true, enduring peace in the region. You know, I will say that.

I will acknowledge that, you know, because why they can’t, because they’ve seen that too, and they all know that we can never have — allow them to have a nuclear bomb, and that really, it’s better that he’s been killed. But you know, because they’re — as a Democrat, they’re afraid to just agree with Trump on anything, anything at this point.

Here’s the clip:

Democrats are so simple right now. You can easily predict where they will land on any issue. They will take the anti-Trump position, no matter what it is, even if it is something that they have claimed to agree with for years.

President Trump, in a new interview with ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, took some jabs at Tucker Carlson.

Karl took to X on Thursday and revealed that he had a lengthy conversation with the 47th president, who told him, “Tucker has lost his way.”

Trump added, “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA.”

“MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that,” concluded Trump.

LOOK:

In the last week, Tucker Carlson has been one of the biggest voices in conservative circles to break with the Trump White House on the current military operations in Iran.

Shortly after the U.S. and Israel launched joint attacks on Iran, Carlson, who also spoke with ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, stated the move was “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

The former Fox News host later did a nearly two-hour episode on his podcast, giving his thoughts on the current military operations in Iran, and stated, “This is Israel’s War.”

WATCH:

This isn’t the first time President Trump has called out Tucker this week.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Trump called out both Tucker and Megyn Kelly for their recent pushback on the U.S. military’s offensive campaigns in Iran.

The Iran War Powers Resolution failed to pass a vote in the US House of Representatives today.

The War Powers Resolution was rejected – 219 nays to 212 yays.

Bill Title and Description: Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from unauthorized hostilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The vote failed the day after a similar bid failed in the US Senate. All Republicans voted against the resolution except for Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Warren Davidson (R-OH).

Two-faced Democrats have criticised Trump for launching strikes without congressional approval and questioned whether the US faced the kind of “imminent” threat that would legally allow him to take military action on his own.

Of course, Democrats said nothing during Barack Obama’s presidency when he bombed seven different countries without congressional approval.

Barack Obama dropped more than 26,000 bombs on 7 countries without congressional approval.

The US and Israel launched attacks on Iran on Saturday, six days ago.  Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei was killed in the bombings on the first day of the war.

Far-Left Wingnut Keith Olbermann Calls Beloved Late Coach Lou Holtz a ‘Legendary Scumbag’ in Vicious Social Media Post

Keith Olbermann / TikTok

Ex-ESPN broadcaster and full TDS sufferer Keith Olbermann launched a vicious attack on legendary football coach Lou Holtz, who passed away on Wednesday at 89.

While tributes to Holtz poured in from around the country, the always angry-Olbermann got vicious.

Olbermann responded to a post on X that called Holtz a ‘legend’ for criticizing former President Joe Biden in 2020 for supporting abortion rights.

‘Legendary scumbag, yes,’ Olbermann wrote in response.

Greg Price, whose post sparked the vile remarks, responded to Olbermann, noting, “Lou Holtz will be remembered as a man of deep Catholic faith, who improved the lives of countless young men, turning around college football programs, and winning a national championship, while being married to his wife for nearly 60 years and leaving behind a beautiful family.”

“You will be remembered as a sad, miserable little man who contributed absolutely nothing of value to this world.”

Holtz, who coached the Fighting Irish from 1986 to 1996, won 100 games and led the team to a national title in 1988.

His family shared that he died surrounded by his family, enveloped in love.

Olbermann appears to be triggered to cruely because Holtz dared to be vocal about his Catholic faith, conservative values, and support of President Donald Trump.

During the 2016 Presidential Election, Holtz endorsed Trump in the Republican primary season and released a video endorsement praising Trump’s business success, first-class style, and non-politically correct approach.

During the 2020 Presidential Election, Holtz was one of Trump’s most prominent celebrity backers and spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on August 26, 2020, endorsing Trump’s re-election.

He called Trump a “consistent winner” and “outstanding leader” who “loves our country,” praised his accomplishments, criticized Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (labeling them “Catholics in name only” on abortion issues), and urged voters to “show up” for Trump.

In 2020, Trump awarded Holtz the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor.

Holtz thanked the President and called him “the greatest President during my lifetime.”

In September 2024, a video circulated of Holtz saying, “America needs Donald Trump now more than ever,” emphasizing that Trump would “secure the border,” succeed in making America great again, and needed voters’ help as part of a “team.”

UPDATE: Trump “Mad as a Murder Hornet” Calls Sen. John Kennedy After Kristi Noem Claims He Approved $200M DHS Immigration Ad Contract

A man in a plaid suit speaks to reporters, surrounded by microphones and cameras, in a busy outdoor setting.

A testimony from outgoing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem this week triggered an explosive response from President Donald Trump, who reportedly called Senator John Kennedy “mad as a murder hornet” after hearing what Noem claimed under oath.

During a recent Senate hearing, Noem was pressed about the massive ad buy. Her testimony suggested that the campaign had been approved at the highest level, indicating that President Trump had signed off on the project.

According to reporting from Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, Senator Kennedy revealed that the situation escalated quickly behind the scenes.

Kennedy said that before the hearing, he had already heard concerns about the enormous $200 million contract. But once Noem publicly indicated the president had authorized it, the issue immediately reached the White House.

And Trump was reportedly livid.

According to Kennedy, the president personally called him to make clear that he had not approved the ad campaign, and that he was furious his name had been attached to the controversial spending.

The Louisiana senator described Trump’s reaction bluntly.

The president, Kennedy said, was “mad as a murder hornet.”

“I heard the Secretary say that she went to the President and said, I propose to spend a quarter billion dollars on TV advertisements in which I am the star, and the President thought that was a swell idea, that’s what I heard the Secretary say. Her version of the truth and the President’s version of the truth are decidedly different,” Sen. Kennedy told Melugin.

Melugin wrote on X:

Everything we know on what led up to Noem’s dismissal.

Started with the chaos in Minneapolis, and reached a climax on Tuesday. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) told reporters he was “offended” when he heard about a $200 million ad contract for DHS that Noem was featured heavily in. He called the White House before her testimony in the Senate on Tuesday, and told them he was “gonna have something to say about it.” Sen. Kennedy says the WH “didn’t try to talk me out of it.”

During the hearing, Sen. Kennedy pinned Noem down on details of the contract, and whether or not President Trump personally approved and signed off on it. She testified, under oath, that yes he did.

Kennedy just told reporters here on the Hill that President Trump called him after that hearing and was “mad as a murder hornet” about Noem’s testimony, saying he never approved the contract nor was he aware of it.

Sen. Kennedy then says Trump pitched Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) to him and asked him what he thought about him.

So it appears that President Trump was floating firing Noem Tuesday night after her testimony on the Hill.

Additionally, there had been frustrations about handling of staff at DHS, as well as repeated allegations of an affair with Corey Lewandowski.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was the Tuesday testimony and the exchange with Sen. Kennedy.

A source also told Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy:

“It was time. Replacing Kristi was based on the culmination of her many unfortunate leadership mishaps including the fallout in Minnesota, the $200 million dollars ad campaign, the allegations of infidelity, the mismanagement of her staff, and her constant feuding with the heads of other agencies, including CBP and ICE. Kristi’s drama sadly overshadowed and distracted from the Administration’s extremely popular immigration agenda, which will continue full force.”

WATCH:

In an interview with the press, Sen. Kennedy confirmed that Trump contacted him directly and revealed additional details about his phone call with Trump following the hearing.

“The president, when he called me Tuesday night, the night of the hearing, when he was mad as a murder hornet, he asked me what I thought about Markwayne.”

Kennedy said he gave Trump a blunt assessment of Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin.

“A. I like him.”
“B. He’s very smart.”
“C. He’s a very good businessman.”

Kennedy then added his signature humor when describing the conversation:

“D. If I didn’t believe the three things I just told you, I’d lie to you because Markwayne would whip my a.”**

BREAKING UPDATE: Biden Autopen Investigation is Ongoing and NOT Closed

Fox News reported on Thursday that the Justice Department’s investigation into Biden’s autopen is ongoing – NOT closed – as previously reported by The New York Times, CBS News, and NBC News.

Fox News cautioned that Joe Biden is not the target of the investigation.

On Wednesday, The New York Times and other outlets, citing sources, reported that prosecutors in Jeanine Pirro’s office dropped the criminal case into whether Joe Biden’s aides unlawfully used the autopen to issue pardons.

According to Fox News, the Biden autopen investigation is ongoing.

Per Fox News: It is also clear that the target of any potential prosecution would NOT be former president Biden himself, “It’s hard to imagine how [Biden] could be criminally liable for pardon power,” said the senior DOJ official, describing that power as basically limitless.

The Oversight Project broke the story about the Biden autopen scandal wide open after they discovered thousands of acts of clemency and executive actions were signed with an autopen rather than a wet signature.

Last March, the Oversight Project discovered there was a second frequently used autopen signature for Joe Biden’s pardons and commutations.

Autopen A and Autopen B have slight differences in the signatures.

Later, it was discovered that a third autopen signature was in use starting the first week of the Biden Presidency to sign proclamations.

Biden officials such as Neera Tanden, Jeff Zeints, Stephanie Feldman, and others were involved in the autopen scandal.

The New York Times last year reviewed some of the emails that the National Archives handed over to the Trump DOJ as part of their investigation into the autopen scandal.

The emails revealed that Biden’s staffers made decisions to sign the pardons with the autopen without directly hearing the orders from Joe Biden.

It was revealed that Joe Biden did not approve of each name for the pardons – AND after changes were made about the specific inmates, Biden did NOT sign off on the revised list. Rather, his aides just ran the final version through the autopen without Biden’s approval.

Iranian Drone Carrier the Size of a WWII Aircraft Carrier BURSTS INTO FLAMES After Direct Hit by U.S. Forces

U.S. Navy officer Cooper speaks at a podium during a press conference, with a military flag in the background.

A massive Iranian drone carrier, reportedly roughly the size of a World War II–era aircraft carrier, has been left engulfed in flames after a direct strike by U.S. forces, according to senior American military officials providing an update on the escalating conflict with Iran.

The dramatic strike was revealed Thursday by U.S. Central Command commander Admiral Brad Cooper, who confirmed that American forces had targeted the ship in the latest wave of attacks aimed at crippling Tehran’s military infrastructure.

“In just the last few hours, we hit an Iranian drone carrier ship, roughly the size of a World War II aircraft carrier. And as we speak, it’s on fire,” Cooper announced during a briefing.

Cooper did not elaborate on which carrier was struck or where it was located.

The burning ship may be the second Iranian drone carrier destroyed or disabled by U.S. forces since the war began.

In the opening hours of the conflict on February 28, U.S. forces struck Iran’s first drone aircraft carrier, IRIS Shahid Bagheri, according to U.S. Central Command.

Commissioned in February 2025, the 240-meter vessel was designed to serve as a mobile platform for Iran’s expanding drone warfare strategy, allowing the regime to project unmanned aerial attacks far beyond its shores.

CENTCOM revealed the strike days later in a statement posted on social media, directly disputing Iranian propaganda claiming that Tehran had sunk a U.S. aircraft carrier.

“The only carrier that has been hit is the Shahid Bagheri, an Iranian drone carrier. U.S. forces struck the ship within hours of launching Operation Epic Fury,” the Central Command post stated.

The latest strike on the burning drone carrier is part of a sweeping military operation aimed at destroying Iran’s offensive military infrastructure.

Admiral Cooper said U.S. forces have already destroyed or sunk more than 30 Iranian ships during the operation.

Cooper: “You may have heard the President say just a little while ago that we have sunk or destroyed 24 ships. That was true at the moment. We’re now up to over 30 ships.

[…]

The President gave us another task: to erase or level Iran’s ballistic missile industrial base. So we’re not just hitting what they have; we are destroying their ability to rebuild.

As we transition to the next phase of this operation, we will systematically dismantle Iran’s missile production capability for the future, and that effort is absolutely in progress.

This is going to take some time, but our forces are well supplied, as the Secretary said, and we are absolutely ready to prosecute this mission decisively.

Our combined joint forces have relentlessly destroyed Iran’s air defenses over the past few days, and they have continued hunting for more systems to eliminate. Our air defenders are operating at the very top of their game.

I couldn’t be prouder to stand shoulder to shoulder with our partners in the region—many of whom are helping provide the most integrated air defense network in Middle East history.

We are fighting to win.”

Lesbian ‘DEI Hire’ Captain of New Zealand Navy Ship That Ran Aground Has Been Charged With Negligence, Will Face Court-Martial Over the Sinking

Yvonne Gray faces court-martial over her alleged negligence.

Wokeism in the military is a recipe for disaster.

Let’s begin with a nice disclaimer: I am not suggesting that women can’t be ship captains, or that lesbians can’t run a ship.

What we are saying, though – and forcefully – is that ‘diversity’ hirings in military posts are likely to lead to tragedy – as it was the case of the New Zealand Navy’s HMNZS Manawanui.

It arose earlier in the week that the celebrated lesbian ‘DEI hire’ captain of the $100m New Zealand Navy ship – that ran aground off the coast of Samoa – has been charged with negligence over the sinking.

Noticer reported:

“The $100 million HMNZS Manawanui, which was under the command of UK-born homosexual Yvonne Gray, crashed on the south side of Upolu on October 5, 2024, due to human error including failure to turn off autopilot, an inquiry found last year.

Commander Gray, Lieutenant Commander Matthew Gajzago and a third officer will now face court-martial over the disaster, which was the navy’s first ship loss since World War 2, and resulted in New Zealand paying Samoa NZ$6 million in compensation for environmental destruction that resulted from the crash.”

“The charges were laid and certified for trial on Monday, and while pleas have not been entered Commander Gray indicated through her lawyers that she intends to fight the allegations, The New Zealand Herald reported.”

Daily Mail reported:

“Cdr Gray, who served in the Royal Navy for almost 20 years, faces charges including that she was absent from the ship’s bridge while within a nautical mile (1.8km) of a reef, The Times reported.

She also faces a charge of failing to manage the risks of conducting hydrographic work in uncharted waters close to reefs. [She] faces a maximum of two years’ imprisonment if convicted.”

“A military court of inquiry found human error caused the ship to sink, with senior crew failing to notice autopilot was on as they struggled to control a thruster and stop it running aground.”

War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force General Dan Caine will speak at a press conference this afternoon to provide updates on Operation Epic Fury.

Hegseth and Caine will deliver the press conference from the US Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.

Hegseth delivered remarks earlier at the US Southern Command Headquarters in Doral, Florida, during the inaugural Americas Counter Cartel Conference with “like-minded regional defense and security leaders from the Caribbean, Central America, and South America,” according to the Pentagon.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, the U.S. Southern Command announced new operations with the Ecuadorian military against narco-terrorists in Ecuador.

This comes as the US and Israel enter the sixth day of war with Iran.

On Wednesday, Hegseth and Caine delivered a press briefing at the Pentagon, where Hegseth announced that US forces “hunted down and killed” the leader of an Iranian unit behind an assassination plot against President Trump.

“Iran tried to kill President Trump, and President Trump got the last laugh,” Hegseth said.

He further said that the US has dismantled Iran’s defense capabilities, including its navy and air force. “The Iranian Air Force is no more. Built for 1996, destroyed in 2026. The Iranian Navy rests at the bottom of the Persian Gulf,” he said, adding that Iran’s military is “combat ineffective, decimated, destroyed, defeated— Pick your adjective.”

WATCH: Pete Hegseth Says Leader Behind Iranian Assassination Plot Against Trump was Killed – “Trump Got the Last Laugh”

Iran has launched a series of retaliatory strikes against Israel and the US, including the suicide drone bombing of the US consulate in Dubai on Tuesday and the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia on Monday, where the CIA station was hit. US Central Command reports that the Iranian regime has already fired more than 500 ballistic missiles and over 2,000 drones.

At least six U.S. service members have been killed in action since the beginning of the operation.

Recent reporting suggests that the US may also move to arm Kurdish fighters to ignite an uprising in Iran and take over the government.

Though the White House has not confirmed these plans, the Gateway Pundit reported that Kurdish officials and people familiar with the discussions say President Trump spoke with Iraqi Kurdish leaders Bafel Talabani and Masoud Barzani, asking them to allow Iranian Kurdish fighters based in Iraq to move into western Iran.

The Department of War announced the briefing on X earlier.
