Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton may soon face his most formidable opponent following his remarks last night about dropping out of the Texas Senate race: President Donald Trump.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Wednesday that he will soon make an endorsement in the ferocious and bloody battle between Paxton and Senator John Cornyn (RINO-TX).

He also made it clear that the person who did not receive his coveted stamp of approval should drop out.

“I will be making my Endorsement soon, and will be asking the candidate that I don’t Endorse to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE! Is that fair? We must win in November!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

During an interview with journalist John Solomon, Paxton made it clear: he is staying in the Texas Senate race until the very end, regardless of whether the establishment manages to coax an endorsement for Cornyn out of the White House.

“I’m staying in this race. I owe it to the people of Texas,” Paxton told Solomon. “I’ve spent a year of my life campaigning against John Cornyn because John has not represented the people of Texas well.

“He’s sided with Joe Biden on Second Amendment restrictions, sided with Joe Biden on bringing Afghan refugees to settle here without vetting them, and he’s been against Trump in both of his elections.”

Trump did not appear to be happy with Paxton’s staunch refusal. During a brief interview with Politico, the President not only scolded Paxton but also appeared to lean toward endorsing Cornyn.

“Well, that’s bad for him to say,” Trump told Politico. “That is bad for him. So maybe, maybe that leads me to go the other direction.”

Whoever Trump endorses will likely win the GOP Senate Primary runoff, given his near impeccable track record of picking winners in primaries.

As TGP readers know, Cornyn surprisingly finished slightly ahead of Paxton in the initial vote on Tuesday, with Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) far behind. This led Senate Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune, to heap pressure on Trump to endorse Cornyn.

In a recent interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, Thune openly admitted he is actively lobbying President Trump to betray the grassroots movements and endorse Cornyn.

“I’ve spoken with the president already today about Texas, and I’m certainly hopeful,” Thune said.

“I’ve made no secret of the fact that I hope the president will endorse John Cornyn. He is an incredibly effective senator for the state of Texas, a strong conservative voice here in the United States Senate, and represents by far our very best hope of making sure that Texas stays red in November.”

This move introduced a massive, alarming question: Is Leader Thune deliberately delaying the crucial SAVE Act to use as leverage to save Cornyn’s political career?

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has just announced the one thing that could both end the Texas GOP Senate Primary and ensure an end to Democrat cheating in our elections.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump on Wednesday said he would soon endorse in the Texas GOP Senate primary between Senator John Cornyn (RINO-TX) and Paxton. Trump also made clear that whoever failed to receive his endorsement should drop out.

This angered Trump, who said in an interview with Politico that Paxton made a “bad” move by saying that. He also suggested this could lead him to back Cornyn.

On Thursday afternoon, Paxton announced that he would think about dropping out of the Senate race IF senators lifted the filibuster to pass the SAVE Act.

“The Save America Act is the most important bill the U.S. Senate could ever pass, and I’m committed to helping President Trump get it done,” Paxton wrote on X. “I would consider dropping out of this race if Senate Leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the SAVE America Act.”

“John Cornyn is a coward who has refused to support abolishing the filibuster to pass this bill,” he added. “Now, Fake News reporters and the establishment are trying to destroy me with misinformation.”

“The truth is clear: No one has been more loyal to Donald Trump than me—fighting the stolen 2020 election, being in Mar-a-Lago when he announced his 2024 campaign, and standing with him in NY in the face of lawfare.”

“For the good of our country and for the good of passing President Trump’s agenda, I am determined to help him get this done.”

Did President Trump or someone on his team have a private chat with Paxton? If so, could the Art of the Deal be in the works?

There is perhaps no piece of legislation dearer to the hearts of conservatives than the SAVE Act for good reason.

The SAVE Act is an absolutely critical measure that requires every American to show ID to cast a ballot. It also requires proof of citizenship BEFORE registering to vote.

Democrats are in meltdown mode because, should the measure pass, they will find stealing elections far more challenging.

But Senate Majority Leader John Thune has so far quashed the idea of utilizing a carve-out to the filibuster or simply implementing a ‘talking filibuster‘ strategy to pass the SAVE Act. Will he reconsider now with Paxton’s offer on the table?

If Paxton manages to leverage his influence to get the Senate to pass the SAVE Act, America will owe him a great debt of gratitude.

Troubled singer Britney Spears was arrested for DUI in Southern California, and booked in Ventura County jail on Wednesday evening.

Per TMZ, the 44-year-old was taken to a hospital early Thursday morning to have her blood drawn.

Britney’s manager Cade Hudson told TMZ that Spears is going to take steps to comply with the law.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time,” Hudson told TMZ.

Page Six obtained dispatch audio that revealed Britney Spears was swerving ‘in and out’ of lanes before she was pulled over.

“Black BMW sedan in and out of lanes… speeding,” the dispatch audio revealed.

TMZ reported:

Cops took Britney Spears to a hospital immediately after pulling her over for an alleged DUI … TMZ has learned.

Britney spent some time at a hospital early Thursday morning, because California Highway Patrol officers transported her there to draw her blood … according to multiple sources close to Brit.

We’re also told she was alone when cops pulled her over in Westlake Village … not far from her home. She did not sustain any injuries, and the hospital visit was purely to determine her blood alcohol content.

While police have not release the results of that BAC testing … our sources say Britney’s telling people it was .06. The legal limit in California is .08 percent, but you can still be charged with DUI if officers observe erratic driving.

In recent years, Britney Spears has worried fans by posting troubling videos to her social media.

Iran War Enters Sixth Day

As the Iran War enters its sixth day, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports that U.S. and Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,230 people in Iran since Saturday.

After the sinking of an Iranian ship in the Indian Ocean on Tuesday, the IRGC said retaliatory attacks would intensify in the coming days, according to Iran’s Nour news agency.

CENTCOM will ask the Department of War for extra military intelligence personnel at its Tampa, Florida headquarters to support operations against Iran for at least 100 days, but probably through September, according to documents obtained by POLITICO.

Air defenses in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday morning responded to “incoming missile and drone threats from Iran,” the country’s Ministry of Defense said. The UAE says it was targeted with seven Iranian ballistic missiles today.

Footage posted on X Thursday morning showed Bahrain’s Petroleum Company refinery on fire, probably following Iranian ballistic missile attacks.

The U.K said it was sending four fighter jets to Qatar to reinforce what Prime Minister Keir Starmer described as “defensive operations” across the region. Military helicopters equipped with counter-drone systems are due to arrive in Cyprus on Friday. Italy also pledged on Thursday to provide Gulf nations with air-defense systems, including anti-drone and anti-missile capabilities.

Iraqi officials and senior members of Iranian Kurdish groups told the New York Times that Iranian Kurdish groups are preparing armed units that could enter Iran. CNN reported on Tuesday that the U.S. will consider arming Kurdish factions in Iran to wage civil war against the government. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt denied that the U.S. was arming Kurdish groups, and Iraqi Kurdistan’s President Nechirvan Barzani has said that his government is not considering joining the conflict.

New polling from the Angus Reid Institute finds Americans divided over American-Israeli airstrikes on Iran, opposed to deploying ground troops, and skeptical the conflict will end quickly. The survey, conducted March 2–4 among 1,215 U.S. adults, reports that 47 percent oppose the airstrikes, compared to thirty two percent who support them. Twenty-one percent say they are unsure.

Oil prices continued to climb Thursday due to the Strait of Hormuz’s closure. AAA reported that average gas prices reached $3.25.

Exploding the Idea That Trump’s Wars Can Handle China

Exploding the Idea That Trump’s Wars Can Handle China

History and the mechanics of world oil markets undercut a narrative about the Iran and Venezuela adventures.

It was astounding to learn from the TV show of the former Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-FL) that an overall theme seems to be forming for President Donald Trump’s much more aggressive, second-term foreign policy in his private conversations with high-level Trump administration officials. Unfortunately, that theme is based on a very shaky grasp of reality.

Scarborough said the Trump administration rationale coming together is this: Decapitating the Venezuelan regime and attempting to topple the Iranian regime, both relying on stand-off force so far, combined with pressure on Russia, is an attempt to cut off China’s oil supply.

One can only hope that this overall theme is an after-the-fact justification for an erratic president executing a shoot-from-the-hip foreign policy. And that would be the good news.

The bad news is that Trump doesn’t know American history—or perhaps knows only a MAGA version of “patriotic” U.S. history. Instruction in real history should tell the gang that trying to strangle the oil supplies of another great power can end up in involvement in a cataclysmic world war.

Most Americans are taught that World War II began for the United States when the evil Imperial Japanese just started unloading bombs on a sleepy Pearl Harbor the first Sunday in December in 1941. The Japanese were certainly no saints, attempting to achieve using military power what the Western great powers, including the United States, had achieved in prior times using the same bloody means—empires in East Asia and the Pacific. But, in this quest, the Japanese had already become bogged down in a gigantic quagmire in China. They then made the mistake of trying to further expand into Indochina.  As a result, then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt decided to impose economic sanctions on the Japanese. Eventually, this included a cut-off of oil supplies to Japan by the United States, which was then the world’s dominant oil producer. Many in the United States government were aware at the time that this would probably precipitate a war with a desperate Japan.

But Japan did not want war with the American colossus. The American economy was significantly larger than that of Japan, Italy, and Nazi Germany combined. The Japanese government tried to arrange a summit between its then-civilian prime minister and FDR, but the American president would have none of it. The failure of negotiations caused the more moderate civilian government to fall and be replaced by the more hawkish government of Hideki Tojo. Even after this substitution, the Japanese emperor directed Tojo to make efforts to avoid war. These were also unsuccessful.

The Japanese, faced with the existential threat of strangulation of their military and society from an oil cutoff, predictably decided to move their military even farther south to capture the oil supplies in the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia). To do so, their military supply line would need to run near the Philippines, a now-fortified U.S. colony grabbed during the Spanish–American War of 1898. Thus the Japanese (and everyone else) realized that a desperate move to capture oil in the Dutch East Indies would mean certain war with the American behemoth. Their only hope was to strike first to try to severely debilitate the American fleet in Hawaii (also annexed by the United States in the Spanish–American War). Some in the Japanese military believed that such a successful strike might make America sue for peace. Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who had lived in the United States but led the attack on Pearl Harbor, correctly believed that was a vain hope. He was right.

History thus shows that trying to cut off oil supplies to China, a nuclear-armed power, by neutralizing its current petroleum suppliers—even if it could be done in a now truly global oil market—is a dangerous policy that needs to be quickly shelved. And with so many suppliers wanting to garner huge revenues from sales of a desirable product into the world market, China will just pay a little more to get oil under the table from other suppliers. That is, the world oil market will merely reorder to accommodate the even more lucrative Chinese demand. Any such misguided American foreign policy, based on a stark ignorance of the world oil market, is eventually doomed to fail, but could cause the Third World War in the meantime.

More revelations are expected in this new batch of documents.

The millions of documents released so far by the US Department of Justice have caused an earthquake around the world.

Politicians, royals, entertainers, financiers, scientists, and power players of all stripes are getting in trouble – from reputational damage, losses of contracts and jobs, investigations, arrests… even a suspected suicide.

And there’s more coming our way.

The Justice Department has said it will release nearly 50,000 documents related to the case of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein by the end of Friday.

The New York Post reported:

“A department spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal Tuesday evening that ‘47,635 files were offline for further review and should be ready for re-production by the end of the week’.”

It’s been reported that the documents would include unverified allegations against Epstein and President Donald J. Trump.

The unsubstantiated allegations against Trump, the DOJ has noted, were made in the run-up to the rigged 2020 elections, and must be understood in this context.

“Trump has insisted that the released files exonerate him of any legal, moral or ethical wrongdoing in regard to Epstein, with whom he reportedly fell out around 2004 amid a property dispute.”

“According to the Journal, the files to be made public include summaries of three interviews a woman gave FBI agents following Epstein’s arrest in July 2019. The woman claimed to have been abused by Epstein as a minor during the mid-1980s, but was found to be ineligible for compensation that was paid out to more than 130 other victims.”

Trump May Arm Iranian Kurdish Militias: A Blow to the Regime, A Win for the Kurds Everywhere

The Trump administration has begun reaching out to Iranian Kurdish opposition groups and Iraqi Kurdish leaders as it considers ways to pressure Tehran during the expanding war.

According to Kurdish officials and people familiar with the discussions, President Trump spoke with Iraqi Kurdish leaders Bafel Talabani and Masoud Barzani, asking them to allow Iranian Kurdish fighters based in Iraq to move into western Iran and offering potential U.S. support, including air cover and logistical assistance, if Kurdish forces launched operations against the Iranian regime.

The White House did not confirm the scope of those discussions. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump spoke with Kurdish leaders only “with respect to our base in northern Iraq,” and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that U.S. military objectives are not based on arming any specific group.

Six days before the war began, five Iranian Kurdish dissident parties formed the Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan (CPFIK), comprising the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), the Organization of Iranian Kurdistan Struggle (Khabat), and Komala.

The coalition issued a joint statement calling on Iranian soldiers and security personnel in Kurdish regions to abandon the regime. Trump separately spoke with PDKI leader Mustafa Hijri, though the White House declined to discuss details of that conversation.

Pro-American Iranian Kurdish groups based in Iraq are preparing armed units that could enter Iran and open a new front in the conflict. Some Kurdish groups say their forces could cross the border within days if conditions become favorable, which would mark the first major ground force entering the war against Tehran. These groups have combat experience from fighting the Islamic State and have previously conducted attacks on Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

Israel’s air campaign has focused heavily on military and security facilities in Iranian Kurdistan, targeting Revolutionary Guard bases, police stations, communications towers, and border posts near highways connecting the Iraqi border to Iran’s interior regions. Kurdish leaders interpret the strikes as designed to weaken Iranian defenses along the border and create conditions that could support an uprising.

The CIA has a long history of working with Iraqi Kurdish factions and currently maintains an outpost in Iraqi Kurdistan near the Iranian border. The agency reportedly provided small arms to Iranian Kurdish groups as part of a covert effort to destabilize Iran that predates the current war. However, analysts and former officials caution that Kurdish fighters lack the heavy weapons, numbers, and resources needed to seriously threaten the Iranian government and could not independently topple the regime or shape a postwar political outcome.

Kurdish participation has placed Iraqi Kurdish leaders in a difficult position. Barzani’s office declined to comment on the Trump call, and KDP member Ahmad Bakr stated publicly that the Kurdistan Region will not allow its territory to become a launching point for a ground attack on Iran or any other country, noting that the region has historically prevented Kurdish opposition groups from using it as a base for cross-border attacks.

Talabani confirmed the call took place but said the PUK believes the best solution is a return to the negotiating table. Iraq’s national security adviser stated that Baghdad will not allow groups to infiltrate or cross the Iranian border from Iraqi territory, and security forces have been reinforced along the border.

Iran has already launched more than 200 ballistic missiles and drones against targets in Iraqi Kurdistan since the conflict began, striking U.S. bases, Kurdish opposition facilities, and the U.S. consulate in Erbil, causing damage to civilian homes and infrastructure. The IRGC has also struck Kurdish positions specifically, saying it targeted groups intending to enter through Iran’s western borders.

At least one PAK fighter was killed. Iran-aligned Iraqi militias have separately struck Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and energy facilities in the region, cutting electricity after a key gas field halted operations due to security concerns.

Kurdish regions inside Iran have historically faced severe repression from Tehran and were among the most active areas during recent anti-government protests. Kurdish political groups have long advocated either independence or federal autonomy.

Some Kurdish leaders believe a ground incursion could force Iranian military units to redeploy to the border, stretching IRGC resources and potentially allowing civilian protests in major Iranian cities to grow without being crushed. However, Kurdish leaders are divided over whether to cooperate, and analysts warn that fighters inside Iran are limited in number and may struggle to gain support outside Kurdish regions.

The Kurds have a long history of feeling abandoned by the United States, including after the 1991 Gulf War uprising in Iraq and after the 2019 Syria withdrawal. Kurdish officials say they oppose the Iranian regime but fear that if a rebellion fails and the United States withdraws, Kurdish communities could face severe retaliation from the IRGC.

Some Kurdish leaders are demanding political guarantees from Washington before committing to a major insurgency. As the conflict grows, Kurdish leaders remain caught between pressure from Washington to support anti-regime efforts and the risk of severe retaliation from Iran if the operation fails or U.S. support is withdrawn.

The latest episode of The Patriot Perspective dissected the March 2026 primaries, with a sharp focus on Texas races, while laying out a winning playbook for Republicans in the midterms and tying it to the latest developments in the Iran conflict.

The hosts opened by framing the primaries as a critical test of party energy under President Trump’s second term, where voter priorities—economy, security, and everyday costs—are colliding with global uncertainties.

In Texas’ GOP Senate primary, incumbent John Cornyn narrowly advanced to a runoff against Attorney General Ken Paxton following the March 3 vote.

Paxton’s campaign hammered border security, election integrity, and opposition to Washington elites, gaining traction in conservative counties and energizing the base.

The episode predicted a heated, high-stakes runoff through May, with the winner positioned to carry Trump’s agenda into the general election against a consolidating Democratic field.

On the Democrat Senate side, State Rep. James Talarico pulled ahead in a fragmented primary, defeating more progressive challenger Jasmine Crockett by appealing to moderates concerned about inflation and crime.

The hosts noted that lingering party divisions over spending and immigration could weaken turnout in November, giving Republicans an opening in what has historically been a tough state for Democrats.

The podcast then surveyed key Texas House districts—TX-15, TX-28, TX-32, and others—where redistricting and voter frustration create flip opportunities.

GOP candidates are running on economic relief and law-and-order themes, aiming to expand the House majority by targeting suburban and rural independents tired of high costs.

To secure midterm victories nationwide, the episode urged Republicans to laser-focus on healthcare and cost of living.

With premiums still elevated and choice limited under existing frameworks, the GOP should champion reforms: price transparency, cross-state insurance competition, and fewer mandates.

These steps would directly lower costs for families and counter Democratic narratives on “protecting” coverage.

Cost-of-living messaging centered on inflation drivers—groceries, housing, and especially fuel.

The hosts advocated tax credits for workers, deregulation to boost domestic production, and spending restraint, positioning Republicans as the party delivering real relief rather than more government programs that fuel price hikes.

Updating the Iran conflict, now several days in, the discussion reviewed U.S.-Israeli strikes that degraded leadership targets and military facilities while U.S. naval forces in the Gulf have intercepted most retaliatory missiles and drones.

Iranian proxies remain active, but coordinated defenses with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and others have contained escalation.

Energy costs are the domestic link: threats to the Strait of Hormuz have nudged oil prices higher, raising the risk of pump-price increases that could hurt voters.

Yet containing the conflict—through precision operations and Gulf alliances—secures shipping lanes, stabilizes supply, and keeps gasoline affordable.

The episode argued this approach lets Trump showcase strong leadership that protects American wallets, blunting Democrat attacks and boosting GOP turnout.

The podcast closed by stressing unity after the primaries.

If Republicans consistently hammer healthcare affordability, cost-of-living fixes, and smart containment of the Iran threat to maintain energy stability, they can deliver substantial midterm gains and safeguard Trump’s agenda.

Sean Hannity Breaks Silence on Tucker Carlson’s Shift — Says Former Colleague Is “Not the Person I Knew When He Was at Fox”’

Two prominent television personalities, Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, are shown in separate images, both known for their roles in political commentary.

Two prominent television personalities, Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, are shown in separate images, both known for their roles in political commentary.

Fox News mainstay Sean Hannity has finally broken his silence on the dramatic transformation of his former colleague, Tucker Carlson.

During a candid sit-down on the Katie Miller Podcast, Hannity didn’t hold back, painting a picture of a relationship that has gone completely cold since Carlson’s departure from the network.

Podcast host Katie Miller asked Hannity a straightforward question.

Katie Miller:
“How’s your relationship with Tucker Carlson now?”

Hannity’s answer was strikingly direct.

Sean Hannity:
“I don’t ever talk to him, ever. I wish him well. I’ve read a lot of what he says. I just completely disagree with it. And it’s not the person that I knew when he was at Fox.”

WATCH:

The statement marks one of Hannity’s clearest public acknowledgments that his relationship with Tucker Carlson has collapsed.

For years, Hannity and Carlson were among the most powerful voices on Fox News, dominating cable ratings and shaping the national conservative conversation.

Carlson hosted Tucker Carlson Tonight from 2016 until his sudden departure from the network in 2023, while Hannity continues to anchor one of Fox’s flagship primetime programs.

After leaving Fox, Carlson launched a highly successful independent media platform and podcast, which quickly became one of the most popular shows in the country.

But his increasingly controversial interviews and public feuds with other conservative figures, including President Trump, have triggered backlash from parts of the conservative establishment.

One of the biggest recent controversies involves U.S. military strikes against Iran. Carlson has strongly criticized the idea of America becoming entangled in another Middle East conflict.

Reports say Carlson described the strikes as “disgusting and evil,” arguing that war with Iran would not serve American interests and warning it could drag the United States into another long war.

Carlson has also drawn criticism from international officials and commentators after making strong claims about U.S. foreign policy and Israel.

For example, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Mike Huckabee, condemned some of Carlson’s comments about Israel and U.S. decision-making, accusing him of promoting harmful narratives about the alliance between the two countries.

Carlson’s recent interviews and commentary have fueled a growing ideological divide within the right, particularly over foreign policy, Israel, and America’s role overseas.

Some MAGA figures have defended Carlson, while others accuse him of undermining Trump or amplifying controversial voices.

US Central Command has released more footage of US strikes on Iranian offensive capabilities as the US enters day six of war with Iran.

Video released on Wednesday shows US forces obliterating Iran’s mobile missile launch sites as the US targets Iran’s retaliatory capabilities.

“The effort to eliminate the Iranian regime’s mobile missile launch capabilities continues. We are finding and destroying these threats with lethal precision,” CENTCOM said.

Another clip from Thursday shows CENTCOM striking hangars with Iranian planes and drones.

“The Iranian regime’s ability to impact U.S. forces and regional partners is rapidly declining, while American combat power continues to build,” CENTCOM Said.

WATCH:

US Strikes to cripple Iran’s military capabilities continue amid Iran’s escalating retaliations, including the suicide drone bombing of the US consulate in Dubai on Tuesday and the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia on Monday, where the CIA station was hit. US Central Command reports that the Iranian regime has already fired more than 500 ballistic missiles and over 2,000 drones.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced on Wednesday that US forces took out a “Soleimani-class warship,” using a submarine. This was the “first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War II,” Hegseth said.
