President Trump announced on Monday that, for the first time, he will attend the annual White House Correspondents Dinner as an Honoree after years of boycotting the event. 

The dinner, typically known for its woke commedy show and Trump-bashing reporters, will be hosted by mentalist Oz Pearlman.

White House Correspondents’ Association President Weijia Jiang announced in a statement, “As the world’s most celebrated mentalist, Oz Pearlman will offer a fascinating glimpse into what’s truly on the minds of Washington’s newsmakers. We look forward to an exciting, fresh, and interactive evening as we celebrate the First Amendment and Washington news coverage together.”

Trump skipped last year’s event amid tension with the leftist media over the decision to bar Associated Press reporters from the Oval Office pool and the Correspondents’ Association’s initial decision to host a Trump-hating comedian.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the White House press pool seemingly had an epiphany that year, admitting that they aided in the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline over the four years he was in the White House. “We bear some responsibility for faith in the media being at such lows. I say this because acknowledging errors builds trust, and being defensive about them further erodes it. We should have done better,” Alex Thompson of Axios said while accepting the Aldo Beckman Award for Journalistic Excellence last year.

In a powerful, spine-tingling video statement released to the Joint Forces today, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth sent a clear message to the world: The American Warrior is back.

The House Oversight Committee on Monday released video of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Epstein depositions.

Bill and Hillary Clinton agreed to testify before the Oversight Committee after Chairman James Comer moved forward with holding them in criminal contempt of Congress.

Hillary testified at an office in Chappaqua, New York, last week.

GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert snapped a photo of Hillary Clinton and leaked it to conservative podcaster Benny Johnson.

Hillary pounded her fist and shouted at Boebert for leaking the photo.

“I’m done with this! If you guys are doing that, I am done! You can hold me in contempt until the cows come home! This is just typical behavior!” Hillary shouted.

“It’s before the hearing was –” Boebert said before Hillary began shouting at her.

“It doesn’t matter! We all are abiding by the same rules!” Hillary shouted as she pounded her fist on the table.

“I would like to take a break,” Hillary Clinton’s attorney said.

“I’m done for now!” Hillary shouted as she stood up and walked out of the deposition.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday destroyed an NBC reporter and took a jab at Biden during a Pentagon press briefing with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force General Dan Caine on Monday. 

NBC’s Courtney Kube shouted at Hegseth as he called on another reporter, “President Trump put a four-week timeline on it. Are you saying that’s wrong?” He initially ignored the reporter, but later returned to her question.

“I heard that question about four weeks. It’s the typical NBC sort of gotcha type question,” he said.

Trump has told numerous outlets that the operation could last four or five weeks, but has also said he could end it in a few days. On the first day of the operation, Trump told Axios on Saturday he could “go long and take over the whole thing or end it in two or three days and tell the Iranians: ‘See you again in a few years if you start rebuilding [your nuclear and missile programs].”

“President Trump has all the latitude in the world to talk about how long it may or may not take, four weeks, two weeks, six weeks. It could move up. It could move back. We’re going to execute at his command the objectives we’ve set out to achieve. And what he has shown an ability to do that other presidents can’t quite seem to have the aperture to do,” Hegseth added before slamming Joe Biden.  “Well, I mean, Joe Biden didn’t even know what he was doing.”

The reporter fired back, “That was a direct quote from the President to the Daily Mail.” Hegseth responded, “I’ve been in meetings with the president for the last two and a half days. We know exactly where his headspace is, and he will communicate as he should, exactly what he would like, and we will follow those orders.”

Trump on Monday also gave an update on the operations during a speech at the White House.

He noted that the US is “substantially ahead of our time projections,” stating that it was initially “four weeks to terminate the military leadership,” which he said was “done in about an hour.”

“We’re ahead of schedule there by a lot,” he said, still threatening to “go far longer than that.”

France’s President Emmanuel Macron announced Monday that his nation will increase its nuclear stockpile and allow for the temporary deployment of nuclear-armed aircraft to allied territories. 

Macron announced France will potentially work with Great Britain, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Denmark, and Sweden on a “forward deterrence” strategy which would see these eight countries join France’s nuclear exercises.

“This dispersal across Europe, like an archipelago of power, will complicate our adversaries’ calculus,” stated Macron.

According to Macron, France will also cease disclosing its number of nuclear warheads. France currently possesses 290 nuclear warheads.

There is discussion that this move is part of a broader strategy for France to integrate its nuclear deterrence capabilities into European defense frameworks. France signed an agreement with Germany last year to create a “high-ranking nuclear steering group.” 

This move may heighten the fears of France’s opposition that Macron intends to place French nuclear weapons under European, rather than French, control. “If Mr. Macron thinks he can hand over France’s nuclear weapons to the EU, he will be subject to impeachment proceedings for treason,” wrote Philippe Olivier, an advisor to the conservative-populist National Rally party, wrote in a post on X last week.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that Iran’s naval footprint in the Gulf of Oman has been completely eliminated.

According to CENTCOM, just two days ago the Iranian regime had 11 ships operating in the Gulf of Oman, today they have ZERO.

The statement, posted Monday, marks one of the most dramatic maritime losses suffered by Tehran in modern history and comes amid ongoing U.S. combat operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure across the region as part of the escalating 2026 Strait of Hormuz crisis.

CENTCOM wrote on X:

Those days are over. Freedom of maritime navigation has underpinned American and global economic prosperity for more than 80 years. U.S. forces will continue to defend it.”

The Gulf of Oman feeds directly into the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most critical oil chokepoints in the world, through which roughly 20% of global seaborne oil passes daily, making any Iranian naval threat there a direct risk to international economic stability.

Reuters reported that several tanker owners and trading houses suspended crude oil, fuel, and LNG through the Strait of Hormuz after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran.

Tehran said it had closed navigation, trading sources said on Saturday.”Our ships will stay put for several days,” one top executive at a major trading desk said. Satellite images from tanker trackers showed vessels backed up next to big ports, such as Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, and not moving through Hormuz.

Multiple vessels in the area have received VHF transmission from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards that “no ship is allowed to pass the Strait of Hormuz”, an official with the EU naval mission Aspides told Reuters.

The mullahs thought they could test American resolve. They thought they could close the Strait of Hormuz. They were wrong.

The remains of two additional US service members were found on Monday in a facility that was struck in Iran’s initial retaliation against the US for Operation Epic Fury. 

This brings the total number of troops killed in Iran since Saturday to six.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday, Central Command announced that three service members were killed, and five were “seriously wounded” in retaliatory missile strikes by Iran after US strikes killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday.

“Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty,” Central Command said.

President Trump delivered an update on Operation Epic Fury earlier, where he grieved the deaths of four US Service Members, stating, “In their memory, we continue this mission with ferocious, unyielding resolve to crush the threat this terrorist regime poses to the American people, and a threat indeed it is.”

Hours later, Southern Command announced that “U.S. forces recently recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted for service members from a facility that was struck during Iran’s initial attacks in the region.”
