Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy had a heated back-and-forth on Social Media this weekend when Swalwell attacked the media personality for supporting Trump’s military actions in Iran. 

The clear winner in the exchange was Portnoy, who roasted the California gubernatorial hopeful by highlighting his humiliating past sexcapades with a Chinese spy.

It can be recalled that Swalwell, a former House Intelligence Committee Democrat, had a sexual relationship with Fang Fang Fang, AKA Christine Fang, a Chinese spy and honey pot, who previously infiltrated his campaign headquarters. Swalwell cut ties with Fang in 2015 after a defensive briefing.

Initially on Saturday, Portnoy defended Trump, calling critics of the Iran strikes that killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday “yo-yo’s” and “borderline traitors.”

“Stick to sports. You’re at least half-right there,” Swalwell responded on Saturday, adding, “Your whiny-ass ain’t going to an Iran battlefield anytime soon. It’ll be poor kids from where I grew up.”

” Life must be pretty comfy in your suite. Stick to judging your favorite pizzas. The adults will sort out the wars,” Swalwell added.

The next morning, Portnoy said he had “never heard of” Swalwell but did a Google search, which revealed a scandal that Swalwell will never live down.

“You were literally removed from House Intelligence Committee for having your office infiltrated by a Chinese spy named Fang Fang,” Portnoy said.

“Can’t even make it up. Maybe sit out the National Security lectures. Politicians man.”

More recently, Swalwell has come under fire for his sex life when his bizarre fetishes were discovered in his past writings.

As a Government and History student who wrote for the student newspaper at North Carolina’s Campbell University in the early 2000s, Swalwell penned disturbing, violent and erotic poems.

“And there beauty was, Formless and magnificent– A flurry of limbs and nails. She chased and I ran, I chased and She ran,” he wrote in one of his works.

A transgender activist in the greater Seattle, Washington, area was arrested for threatening to kill President Trump.

20-year-old Phillip Wharton, a biological male who goes by “Sadie Online,” was indicted on Wednesday on two counts of threatening a federal official.

Last summer, the US Secret Service was alerted to Wharton’s threatening social media posts.

In one social media post, Wharton said he is going to kill Trump and wear his face “as a mask.”

In another post, Wharton said he will assassinate President Trump.

Investigators were able to link the Instagram and X accounts to Wharton and took him into custody in Everett, Washington.

An Everett man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges he threatened to kill the president in a series of social media posts, according to court documents.

Phillip Richard Wharton, 20, is charged with two counts of threatening a federal official in the Western District of Washington.

The indictment was filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Seattle.

According to the indictment, the first alleged threat was posted Aug. 19, 2025, on a social media account along with a photograph and the text: “What the guy in the White House sees after I kill the US PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN AND WEAR HIS FACE AS A MASK.”

The second count stems from a Sept. 23, 2025 post that read: “My name is Sadie Online. I am going to kill the president tomorrow. This is not a joke, but a confession admissible in a court of law.”

An Iranian missile hit Jerusalem on Sunday evening.

Iran retaliated this weekend after the US and Israel took at the country’s Supreme Leader and more than 40 senior regime leaders in a joint military operation.

Late Sunday, an Iranian missile penetrated Israel’s Iron Dome defense system and directly hit Jerusalem.

According to The Times of Israel, three people were wounded in the missile strike.

Per The Times of Israel:

Magen David Adom in a revised toll says three people were wounded by the Iranian ballistic missile impact on a road in the Jerusalem area.

They include a man, aged 46, who was moderately hurt by shrapnel, as well as two others, who were lightly injured.

In addition, MDA says it treated two people suffering from acute anxiety.

Shocking up close video posted to social media shows Israel’s Iron Dome missiles intercepting Iran’s barrage of missiles.

However, one Iranian missile bypassed Israel’s Iron Dome defense missiles and struck Jerusalem.

The Iranian ballistic missile fiercely shot down and struck a road in Jerusalem.

“Oh my God! Oh my God!” a man shouted after the missile came down.

Jane Fonda, who famously sided with the enemy during the Vietnam War, is back at it again, proving she hasn’t learned a thing in fifty years.

While Iranian-Americans took to the streets of Los Angeles to celebrate the liberation of their homeland from the shadow of tyranny, Hollywood’s favorite radical, “Hanoi Jane” Fonda, was busy having a total breakdown.

On Saturday, Fonda joined anti-war demonstrators gathered outside Los Angeles City Hall to protest the joint U.S.–Israeli operation targeting Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure.

Speaking to a crowd of far-left activists in LA, the 88-year-old actress launched into a vitriolic, rambling tirade against President Trump, accusing him of everything from “war crimes” to… wait for it, “accelerating climate catastrophe.”

The US released footage of B-2 stealth bomber armed with 2,000 pound bombs that struck Iran’s ballistic missile facilities.

The US deployed B-2 stealth bombers on Saturday night, according to CENTCOM.

This is the second time the US has used B-2 bombers in an effort to neutralize Iran.

Last year, B-2 Bombers dropped at least 6 30,000-pound bunker busting bombs on the Fordow nuclear plant. The US claimed it totally obliterated the underground plant.

“Last night, U.S. B-2 stealth bombers, armed with 2,000 lb. bombs, struck Iran’s hardened ballistic missile facilities. No nation should ever doubt America’s resolve,” CENTCOM said.

Earlier Saturday morning, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei and more than 40 top Iranian leaders were killed in the US-Israel military operation.

The US also sunk 9 Iranian naval ships.

“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important,” Trump said.

“We are going after the rest — They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also! In a different attack, we largely destroyed their Naval Headquarters. Other than that, their Navy is doing very well! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump said.

On Sunday, CENTCOM confirmed that three US service members were killed in action and five were seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury.

The names of the deceased service members are being withheld until next of kin have been notified.

Several people have been stabbed on the outer loop of I-495 in Annandale, Virginia, which is located just outside of Washington, DC.

According to reports, following a multi-car crash, a suspect got out of their vehicle and stabbed four people.

The suspect was later shot down by Virginia State police who responded to the crash.

One victim received CPR on the scene, and the others were reported in critical condition.

ABC 7 Now reported that all lanes on the outer loop of I-495 have since been closed due to police activity.

Per ABC 7 Now:

All lanes of Interstate 495’s Outer Loop have been shut down in Annandale, Virginia (Fairfax County) due to police activity.

According to traffic alerts, the closure impacts the southbound side of I-495 between Gallows Road and Route 236.

Officials initially reported multiple lanes were blocked. An update later confirmed that all lanes in the area are now closed.

Drivers should expect significant delays and are urged to seek alternate routes.

“During a 2005 conference titled ‘A World Without Zionism’, he quoted Iran’s founding leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, who had referred to Israel as “the occupying regime of Jerusalem” and a ‘disgraceful cancerous growth’ that ‘must be wiped off the map’.”

But the fog of war is thick: while reports of Ahmadinejad’s death have multiplied around the world, Iranian state media now says that these reports are unconfirmed.

“Some outlets cite the Iran Labor News Agency. However, the news site says explicitly that the reports ‘cannot be confirmed’.

‘One of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s close associates, in contact with ILNA, denied the news of the martyrdom of the president of the ninth and tenth governments without any additional information, saying: ‘The news of his martyrdom is false’, according to the outlet’.”

Pakistan launched a wave of airstrikes Thursday night against targets deep in Afghanistan, including in the capital of Kabul. “Now it is open war between us and you,” Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif wrote to the Taliban in a post on X Friday. The episode is the latest in a months-long conflict between the Pakistani government and the Taliban in Afghanistan over the Taliban’s support for the militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, also known as the Pakistani Taliban, which has killed hundreds of Pakistani civilians in terrorist attacks.

Pakistan initially supported the Taliban in their guerilla war against the U.S. and its allies in Afghanistan, but the relationship soured after the Americans pulled out of the country and the Taliban took back power in 2021. From their bases in Afghanistan, the Pakistani Taliban (which is a separate organization from the Afghan Taliban) launched a series of devastating terrorist attacks into Pakistan. The Taliban has denied allegations that they are sheltering the terrorist organization.

The current conflict began when the Pakistani military conducted air strikes against what they claim were Pakistani Taliban bases in Afghanistan in October of 2025. The Afghan Taliban retaliated by attacking Pakistani military posts along the border, and the conflict had simmered in the intervening months until the latest round of airstrikes. Both sides claim to have killed hundreds of enemy soldiers, but casualty numbers haven’t been verified.

President Trump reportedly said on Sunday that 48 Iranian leaders were “wiped out in one shot” during Operation Epic Fury in Iran on Saturday.  

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the joint US-Israel operation in Iran killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and 40 other top Iranian leaders. Trump announced the operation on Saturday morning.

Trump later released a statement on Truth Social, confirming the death of the Ayatollah and urging the people of Iran to rise up and take over their government.

“The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!” Trump said.

Trump further told reporters that he could “go long and take over the whole thing or end it in two or three days and tell the Iranians: ‘See you again in a few years if you start rebuilding [your nuclear and missile programs].”

Meanwhile, US and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets are continuing as Iran fires retaliatory strikes.

Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich on Sunday said that she had just spoken to Trump, who said that the operation is still moving along “rapidly” after killing dozens of Iranian officials and the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
