Israel is reportedly preparing a “massive” ground invasion of southern Lebanon aimed at pushing the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group away from the Israeli border and dismantling its weapons infrastructure.
According to a report from Axios, the operation would target territory south of the Litani River, an area Israeli security officials see as critical to preventing Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel.
The move follows a large-scale rocket barrage earlier this week, when Hezbollah launched more than 200 rockets toward northern Israel.
Israel is planning massive ground invasion of Lebanon, aiming to seize the entire area south of the Litani River and dismantle Hezbollah’s military infrastructure, Israeli and U.S. officials say. My story on @axioshttps://t.co/U8RCQJMC5P
Officials said the attack was coordinated with Iran, which launched missiles at Israel at the same time.
“Before this attack we were ready for a ceasefire in Lebanon, but after it there is no way back from a massive operation,” a senior Israeli official told Axios.
Another Israeli official said the strategy would mirror Israel’s campaign against Hamas infrastructure in Gaza.
“We are going to do what we did in Gaza,” the official said.

The objective is to seize territory, push Hezbollah forces north of the Litani River and dismantle military positions embedded in villages across southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces have already begun preparations, while additional regular army units are also being deployed.
The IDF has also urged thousands of civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate areas where Hezbollah operates.
The Trump administration reportedly supports Israel’s plans but has asked them to avoid striking major national infrastructure.
Israel agreed not to target Beirut’s international airport, though insisted other infrastructure remained on the table.
On Friday, Israeli forces destroyed a bridge over the Litani River, which the military said Hezbollah was using to move fighters and weapons into southern Lebanon.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Lebanon could face further strikes if Hezbollah activity continues.
“This is only the beginning and the Lebanese government and the Lebanese state will pay an increasing price through damage to Lebanese national infrastructure that is used by Hezbollah terrorists,” said Katz.
“The Lebanese government, which misled and did not fulfill its commitment to disarm Hezbollah, will pay increasing prices through damage to infrastructure and the loss of territory, until the central commitment of disarming Hezbollah is fulfilled,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said Friday the group was prepared for a prolonged military confrontation.

California election officials are investigating a disturbing allegation that petition circulators in San Francisco were paying individuals to sign ballot petitions using fake names.
According to state officials, the investigation began after a video surfaced online earlier this week showing what appears to be a sidewalk operation offering cash in exchange for signatures on ballot petitions, News4Jax reported.
The footage, posted Monday on X, shows a sign reading “Sign petition for $5”with a line of people waiting along a San Francisco sidewalk.
At a nearby folding table, a woman appears to be instructing individuals onwhat name and address to use while filling out the petitions.
When the person recording the video asked what the petitions were for, the woman simply responded: “Just sign it.”
The video quickly went viral and caught the attention of California election authorities.
In a statement Friday, the California Secretary of State’s officeconfirmed it is actively investigating the matter.
“We are aware of, and investigating, the matter,” the office said.

CA ELECTION PROBE: A video filmed in San Francisco appears to show petition signature collectors offering $5 for signatures and telling people to sign for proposed ballot initiatives with OTHER VOTERS’ names.
At least one of the petitions seen in the video was for a tech-backed ballot measure to fight a proposed tax on billionaires . It’s funded by Building a Better California, a committee started by wealthy business leaders including Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who gave $20 million.
The signature collectors were not directly working for the campaign, said Molly Weedn, a spokesperson for the effort. The campaign was cooperating with authorities to reject the petitions collected with falsified information, she said.
“Under no circumstance do we tolerate this type of activity,” Weedn said in a statement. “Our campaign took immediate action and campaign attorneys reported to authorities.”
She said the campaign notified elections officials as soon as the video surfaced.
Another ballot petition funded by Building a Better California for a measure to prohibit new tax on retirement savings also appeared in the video. Spokesperson Nathan Click said the campaign “does not tolerate fraudulent activity in any signature-gathering process.”
“As soon as we became aware of the activities in question, we demanded that our signature-gathering firm identify the petition circulator, reject any and all petitions submitted by this circulator,” Click said in a statement.
Sen. Mike Lee provided an update on the SAVE America Act and announced progress toward implementing a hybrid “talking filibuster” strategy in the Senate.
Republican Senator Mike Lee says there has been major progress in the push to pass the SAVE America Act after mounting pressure on Senate leadership to move the legislation forward.
In an update to supporters, Lee, the lead sponsor of the SAVE America Act, said recent discussions with Thune and his staff have led to meaningful progress on how the bill could be debated and brought to a vote.
As The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly exposed, Thune, the same weak-kneed establishment hack who mocked grassroots conservatives as “paid influencers,” refused to nuke the filibuster, and spent weeks making excuses why he couldn’t deliver for President Trump, has been forced to bend.
Lee confirmed the breakthrough in a new video clip: a HYBRID form of the talking filibuster is now set to be implemented.
That means Democrats will be FORCED to take the floor and defend their radical anti-voter-ID agenda. possibly for HOURS or even DAYS, against a bill that 85% of the American people support.
Here’s the full statement from Sen. Mike Lee:
Sen. Mike Lee: “Okay, important update on the Save America Act and the effort to get it passed. Look, I am guardedly optimistic. We’ve turned kind of a corner over the last few days.
There’s been some uncertainty about exactly what procedure we will and will not be using. In the end, we’ve been working closely with Leader Thune and his staff, and they’ve been great to work with.
What we’re coming up with is something that I think is best described as a hybrid version of the talking filibuster. But look, let’s not get mired down in nomenclature. What matters far more than what we call it is what we do with it.
We’re going to bring it to the floor. We’re going to debate it for an extended period of time before filing cloture. And in my view—at least, I don’t want to speak for anyone else—this bill needs to remain on the Senate floor before we file cloture for as long as it takes to get it done.
Now, the fact that Leader Thune and his office have been willing to work with us on this, and that they appear open to a variation of that, is a good thing.
So let’s keep up the momentum. Let’s encourage them to continue to do this. Let’s put the bill on the floor. Let’s make those who want to filibuster speak, and keep it on there as long as possible.”

Important Status Update Regarding the SAVE America Act
During a press briefing on Friday, War Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed reports that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, 56-year-old Mojtaba Khamenei, has been injured, possibly critically.
As Hegseth was touting the US Military’s success in incapacitating Iran’s military infrastructure on Friday, he revealed that Khamenei, “the new so-called not-so-Supreme Leader,” is “wounded and likely disfigured.”
“His father dead, he’s scared, he’s injured, he’s on the run, and he lacks legitimacy. It’s a mess for them. Who’s in charge? Iran may not even know,” Hegseth continued.
WATCH:
Hegseth: Their production lines, their military plants, their defense innovation centers, defeated. Iran’s leadership is in no better shape. Desperate and hiding, they’ve gone underground, cowering. That’s what rats do.
We know the new so-called not-so-Supreme Leader is wounded and likely disfigured. He put out a statement yesterday, a weak one, actually, but there was no voice, and there was no video. It was a written statement. He called for unity. Apparently killing tens of thousands of protesters is his kind of unity. Iran has plenty of cameras and plenty of voice recorders. Why a written statement? I think you know why.
His father dead, he’s scared, he’s injured, he’s on the run, and he lacks legitimacy. It’s a mess for them. Who’s in charge? Iran may not even know. With every passing hour, we know and we know they know that the military capabilities of their evil regime are crumbling. They can barely communicate, let alone coordinate. They’re confused, and we know it. Our response, we will keep pressing. We will keep pushing, keep advancing, no quarter, no mercy for our enemies.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump said on Thursday that Khamenei is “probably alive in some form,” but “damaged,” as reports suggested he was badly injured in US strikes.
Trump further responded to Iran’s threats to close the Strait of Hormuz, stating, “He’s gonna have to put up.”
This came after the newly chosen leader issued a lengthy written statement, which was read out by Iranian state TV, but he did not make a televised appearance, as reports suggest that his injuries are severe.
“He is understood to have lost at least one leg in the incident and is believed to have sustained severe internal injuries, possibly to his stomach or liver,” GBN reports, noting that he may even be in a coma, according to sources.
Some reports suggest that he doesn’t even know he’s the Supreme Leader of Iran because of his current state.
Hegseth previously declined to comment on whether or not these reports were accurate.

Across Burma (Myanmar), 3.7 million people are displaced and in need of medical and food aid, as well as international protection from government airstrikes.
Civilians are being bombed every single day by the Burma Army, and neither the UN nor the international community is doing anything to stop China and Russia’s support of the junta’s army or its access to funding, jet fuel, and weapons.
The Burma war has been ongoing for nearly 80 years, with the world largely ignoring the growing displacement and humanitarian crisis caused by a government at war with its own people.
When the generals launched a coup in February 2021, overturning the results of a free election, the news went largely unnoticed as America was wrestling with its own contested presidential election.
A year later, when Russia invaded Ukraine, coverage was so pervasive that news readers around the world believed it was the world’s only ongoing conflict.
The October 7 Hamas attack on Israel in 2023 diverted some attention away from the Ukraine war and pushed the Burma conflict even further down the list of international priorities.
At least three times during President Trump’s first and second administrations, the United States passed legislation and appeared poised to send some type of relief to Burma.
But with the current Iran conflict underway, Burma has once again fallen out of the international consciousness.
Meanwhile, the Burma Army continues its unrelenting campaign of death and displacement against the country’s civilian population.
Resistance groups are holding the line as best they can, but at this point they are running out of ammunition and have no air-defense systems to counter Burma Army drones and airstrikes.
Even at the front, many resistance soldiers wear non-standard uniforms and flip-flops. Most have no helmets, and many do not have body armor. Photo by Antonio Graceffo.
At the front, I observed that most of the resistance soldiers were not wearing helmets and most did not have body armor.
Checking the armor of the soldiers closest to me, I saw that many were wearing empty plate carriers, which provide no protection at all, while a few had cheap Chinese airsoft vests that a bullet would tear right through.
Most told me they only had thirty rounds of ammunition, and one soldier told me he only had three.
And this ragtag group of boys has spent the last five years, a quarter of their lifespans, holding the line against the powerful Burma Army before them, supported by China and Russia, with their families and loved ones in displaced persons camps behind them.
At the beginning of the revolution in 2021, the resistance fought the junta with homemade guns, including muskets. During the past five years, these have largely been replaced with weapons captured from the Burma Army, but as ammunition is now running out, they may have to revert to the muskets again. Photo by Antonio Graceffo.
Civilians are fleeing in increasingly large numbers, taking refuge in resistance-controlled areas, but those areas are shrinking. The attacks not only continue, they are getting closer.
People who have already been displaced multiple times now find themselves in camps with no water, no international support, and no international protection. The government considers internally displaced persons camps to be acceptable targets.
This month, Free Burma Rangers (FBR) on the frontlines across Burma have documented the junta’s continued pattern of attacks on civilians and displaced communities.
Burma Army troops overran Kyaw Gon Village in Kler Lwe Htoo District, Karen State, on March 5, displacing more than 4,000 villagers and capturing more than 150 civilians, including men, women, children, and infants.
Witnesses reported that captives were forced to lie beside the road and were shot if they raised their heads. At least 30 civilians were killed, and survivors were forced to dig graves for the dead.
Resistance forces retook the village on March 8 and freed 41 hostages, though many villagers remain missing and the status of those still in captivity is unknown.
Airstrikes in Mu Traw District caused further civilian casualties. On March 8, a Burma Army jet strike on Mae Kaw Law Village killed a 23-year-old villager and seriously injured her husband and two-year-old daughter while they sheltered in their home.
The following day, another jet bombing in Ta Oh Der Village destroyed five houses, injured seven villagers, and killed two people, including the seventy-year-old wife of the village pastor and her three-year-old granddaughter.
In southern Shan State, clashes in Mawkmai Township beginning February 1, 2026, when junta and Pa-O National Organization joint forces fought Pa-O National Liberation Army troops in several villages, have displaced more than 1,000 civilians, leaving many without access to food, healthcare, or clean water.
Residents who fled are hiding in forests or sheltering in communities such as Na Hee Village, in locations aid workers describe as remote and difficult to reach.
Government forces now control most of the roads, so small amounts of supplies have to be transported through the jungle. In areas where even four-wheel-drive vehicles cannot go, supplies must be carried on people’s backs or transported by motorcycles, elephants, or mules. Photo by Antonio Graceffo.
About 80 percent of the displaced population remains in hiding, fearing renewed violence. Many also avoid returning to agricultural fields due to the risk of landmines.
The Pa-O National Organization, a Burma Army-aligned militia, has provided neither medical assistance nor food aid to those affected.
Local volunteers report no functioning clinics and very limited food supplies, leaving children, the elderly, and pregnant women at particular risk.
The week’s violence ended with a Burma military airstrike on a women’s detention center in Mese Township, Karenni State, around 10:30 a.m. The center held family members of Burma Army soldiers.
The strike killed five people, including three women, one man, and one child, while another child was injured.
Free Burma Rangers evacuated the survivors and provided medical treatment before moving them to safer locations. The attack illustrated that Burma Army airstrikes have become so indiscriminate that they now kill even those connected to the military itself.
These incidents are not isolated. Burma Army operations across Karen, Karenni, and southern Shan states killed civilians, displaced thousands, and injured resistance fighters throughout early March.
UNHCR’s displacement overview as of February 16, 2026 places the total IDP figure at 3,704,700, distributed across all states and regions, with roughly 90% displaced since the February 2021 coup. Since the military takeover, millions more have experienced displacement multiple times, on average eight times per person.
Across Burma, at least 3.7 million people are living in internally displaced persons camps that have no support or protection from the UN or any international actors. The Burma Army continues to bomb the people even while they struggle to find food and water, and most have no access to medical care. Photo by Antonio Graceffo.
Roughly 4 million Burmese have fled to Thailand, where only 108,000 have been given shelter in refugee camps with UN support.
Those with passports and ID cards are able to study at university or work legally, while most of the rest survive as registered migrant workers or as undocumented laborers on farms, in construction, or in hotels.
Beyond Thailand, 1.3 million are sheltering in Bangladesh, roughly 120,000 are believed to be in Malaysia, more than 23,000 are in India, and another 1.5 million have been granted asylum in other countries.
The displacement has been driven in part by the systematic destruction of healthcare. Since the February 2021 coup through January 20, 2026, Insecurity Insight has recorded at least 1,869 incidents of violence against or obstruction of healthcare in Myanmar.
The Myanmar Armed Forces were responsible for 70% of those incidents. Healthcare facilities were damaged or destroyed on 471 occasions and seized for non-medical use 227 times.
At least 170 health workers were killed and another 909 arrested. Armed drones struck healthcare targets 74 times between February 2021 and December 2025.
The most pressing humanitarian health needs are driven by the lack of access to basic healthcare as a result of damage and destruction of health facilities, direct attacks on health centers, health workers, patients, and ambulances, logistical challenges in securing life-saving medical supplies, and the lack of trained health workers.
Access is particularly dire in Rakhine and Kayah, where nearly half the population faces serious difficulties, while between 25% and 40% of residents in Kachin, Tanintharyi, Kayin, Northern Shan, and Chin need humanitarian health assistance.
An estimated 1.5 million children under five have missed basic vaccinations since 2018, posing a serious threat of measles and diphtheria outbreaks and the possible re-emergence of polio.
The author, Antonio Graceffo, is on the river in Myanmar.
I met the great Mel K. a few years ago, and in the trenches of the information war grew a mutual admiration society and a friendship.
To connect with her and participate in her show was even more special now, as it coincides with my celebration today (March 14) of 3 years contributing to TGP.
Always generous, Mel described me as someone who ‘has been saying the truth even before it was popular to do so’.
This, of course, applies to both of us and so many other truthers out there, so ‘unpopular’ among the ruling elites that we were mass-banned from the old Twitter, and so many other social media platforms.
In our new conversation, Mel wanted to know about Brazil. She has an amazing intellectual curiosity and an understanding of how the Western Hemisphere is important for world stability.
I told her about the new scandal of Master Bank and how even Lula da Silva’s son and some of the tyrannical Supreme Court Justices like Alexandre de Moraes were involved with a vast body of evidence against them.
In one day, we had these developments: while conservative Kast was sworn in as new President of Chile, Ecuador’s Noboa will launch an operation against the cartels with US logistical support, and Peña, in Paraguay, approved legislation to authorize US troops in its territory.
This Paraguay bit of news is very important, because in the Triple Frontier between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, there is Hezbollah activity, a hotspot for drugs, weapons, and human trafficking.
Besides that, we talk about the Shield of the Americas meeting and some misadventures in the Amazon jungle for the participants of the COP30 environmental summit.
Six towering, hairy figures stalked the woods of northeast Ohio over four days this March, leaving one guard dog trembling in terror and an entire county wondering what just moved through their backyard.
Four Days of Fear in Portage County
The reports began March 6 when someone spotted a 9-foot brown figure outdoors near Mantua Center. The next day brought an 8-foot brown figure accompanied by footprints and guttural grunts. March 9 delivered three separate encounters: an 8-foot black figure, a towering 10-foot black creature emitting a musky odor, and a 6-foot brown figure observed through a window from 100 feet away. The final sighting on March 10 described an 8-10 foot “large black shadow” that witnesses insisted looked nothing like a bear.
The geographic cluster proved remarkable. All sightings occurred within Portage County’s wooded areas spanning Mantua Center, Garrettsville, Streetsboro, and Newton Township—a relatively small footprint southeast of Cleveland. Witnesses emphasized distinctive behaviors that separated these encounters from typical wildlife misidentifications. The figures allegedly walked with stiff, stilt-like gaits, turned their entire shoulders rather than necks, and left behind unexplained footprints. One account specifically mentioned a guard dog reduced to shaking with fear during the encounter, suggesting an animal’s instinctive response to something genuinely unnerving.
When Enthusiasts Sound the Alarm
Jeremiah Byron, host of the Bigfoot Society podcast and administrator of its 282,000-member Facebook community, recognized the pattern immediately. He labeled the cluster a “flap”—cryptozoology terminology for an abnormal concentration of sightings in a compact timeframe and location. Byron told media outlets this represented something unusual, emphasizing that multiple reports within such a small area over just days deviated from typical sporadic encounters. His group issued warnings to Portage County residents to stay vigilant in wooded corridors, urging them to keep eyes open and doors locked.
The Bigfoot Society served as the central clearinghouse for these reports, aggregating eyewitness accounts from anonymous locals who reached out through social media channels. Byron’s commentary framed the sightings as evidence of creature movement, possibly migration through established travel corridors. His excitement was palpable, describing the volume of reports as massive compared to normal reporting rates. Yet for all the enthusiasm, no photographs, video footage, or physical evidence accompanied any of the six encounters. Every claim rested solely on verbal descriptions from witnesses who remain unidentified.
Ohio’s Long History with Sasquatch
Portage County’s wooded terrain, particularly around the 167-acre Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park, provides habitat that Bigfoot enthusiasts consider ideal for sightings. Ohio has accumulated over 500 historical Bigfoot reports in Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization databases, ranking the state among America’s most active for such claims. The modern surge in reports traces back to the 1950s, amplified by events like the famous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film that remains cryptozoology’s most debated piece of evidence. Indigenous North American lore documented similar creatures long before contemporary fascination took root.
Northeast Ohio’s dense forests support legitimate wildlife populations including black bears, creating natural opportunities for misidentification. However, witnesses in this latest cluster explicitly ruled out bears, insisting the figures moved bipedally with distinctly non-ursine characteristics. Cryptozoology enthusiasts argue these details lend credibility, while skeptics counter that conviction does not equal verification. The region has seen scattered reports over decades, but nothing matching the intensity of this four-day window. Previous national “flaps” occurred sporadically in locations like Washington State, though concentrated bursts remain uncommon enough to generate significant attention when they surface.
Evidence-Free Investigation
The Decatur Police Department received mention in connection with a March 12 incident, though details remain unspecified and the location seems geographically odd given Portage County’s focus. No wildlife management agencies or law enforcement entities issued official statements about the sightings. The investigation, such as it exists, proceeds informally through the Bigfoot Society’s network. Hunters claimed they locked eyes with the creatures, describing moments of frozen confrontation before the figures vanished into tree cover. Yet not a single witness produced photographic documentation despite the proliferation of smartphone cameras.
This absence of physical proof represents the fundamental challenge undermining these accounts. Footprints went uncast, odors dissipated without chemical analysis, and the terrified guard dog’s reaction remains anecdotal rather than documented. Media coverage from outlets including Mercer County Outlook and Fox News Digital amplified the story based entirely on secondhand reporting from the Bigfoot Society. No independent verification occurred. The dynamic favors viral speculation over methodical skepticism, with enthusiast communities wielding informal influence through social media reach that traditional authorities cannot match. For Portage County residents, the choice becomes whether to trust neighbors’ eyes or demand evidence that never materializes.
Actor Nick Offerman couldn’t believe one of his own would dare support President Donald Trump.
Offerman — known for his role as Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation” — recently sat down with “Lovett or Leave It” host Jon Lovett to discuss his 2025 film “Sovereign,” which centers around a father and son who find themselves at odds with a police chief.
According to IMDb, Offerman plays father Jerry Kane, with his co-star Dennis Quaid taking on the role of Chief John Bouchart.
On the topic of Quaid, Offerman brought up the former’s politics — his pro-Trump politics — with Lovett.
“He unfortunately is a crazy Trump guy with a Gospel record.”
“In the film or real life?” Lovett quipped. “In real life.”
“Right after we finished the movie, he suddenly came out with a Gospel country record and went on Tucker Carlson and f***ing Hannity to, like, play his Trump Gospel songs. And we were like, ‘What?’ He’s a hero of my life, I’ve looked up to him. He’s a great actor,” Offerman said.
“Dennis, like, kept it under wraps until last year.”
Offerman is acting like Quaid revealed he used to be a serial killer or a cult leader.
Offerman’s comments are indicative of his — and Hollywood’s — level of insulation from the outside world.
Living and working in the liberal bubble, he’s baffled someone he works with and admires could support Trump.
The timing here is noteworthy. According to Fayetteville Flyer, “Sovereign” was in production in February 2024. This was an election year.
Moreover, it was the same year Quaid starred in “Reagan,” a biopic about the 40th president, a Republican.
Quaid, like so many others that year, did not hide his politics as there was a more widespread acceptance — or in the least tolerance — of anyone pro-Trump.
Playing arguably the most beloved Republican president in recent memory likely had Quaid answering questions about his own positions just as Trump was trying to return to office — the Hannity interview addressed just that.
Offerman acts like a shockwave just hit him, but he might want to get used to it.
As leftist insanity continues to warp the Democratic Party into a less serious, outright deranged alternative, he’s likely to have more co-stars doing the same.
