HE’S BACK: Disgraced Former Lawyer Michael Avenatti Released From Prison and Moved to a Halfway House

Screencap of YouTube video.

Michael Avenatti, the famous creepy porn lawyer, has been released from prison and is now living in a halfway house.

Someone needs to call Brian Stelter and the rest of the crew at CNN. They’re his biggest fans, after all. It’s kind of amazing that he hasn’t already been featured in an interview on the far left network.

It’s also stunning to think that before he was brought down by his own corruption, liberals on cable news were promoting this guy as a potential candidate for president.

FOX News reports:

Stormy Daniels’ disgraced ex-lawyer and anti-Trump superstar Michael Avenatti moved to halfway house

Disgraced Democratic lawyer Michael Avenatti has been moved from federal prison to a halfway house in California, according to Bureau of Prisons records, but remains in federal custody with a projected release date of September 2028.

Avenatti is best known for representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her failed 2018 defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump. Once a media darling with presidential ambitions, he was later convicted in multiple fraud cases and sentenced to years in federal prison.

An official with the Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Fox News Digital that Avenatti was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Los Angeles to community confinement overseen by the BOP Long Beach Residential Reentry Management (RRM) Office. He has a projected release date of September 8, 2028.

In 2022, Avenatti was convicted and sentenced to 48 months in prison for stealing close to $300,000 in proceeds from Daniels. At the time of his sentencing, Avenatti was already serving a 30-month sentence for threatening to extort $25 million from Nike. Avenatti was also sentenced in December 2022 to 14 years in prison for stealing from four of his clients. One of those clients was a paraplegic.

Here’s a fun walk down memory lane. Watch Democrats and their media allies heaping praise on this dirtbag just a few years ago:

They not only thought this guy should run for office, they thought he was going to be the one to take down Trump for them. How did that end up working out?

Far Left Democrat Rep. Tells Crowd in Michigan That Upper Class Americans Are the ‘Enemy’ (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

summer Lee, a far left Democrat rep. from Pennsylvania, was recently campaigning in Michigan for far left senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and told the crowd that upper class Americans are the ‘enemy.’

This view of the world has become common among Democrats and it can be traced directly to Senator Bernie Sanders, who is also backing Abdul El-Sayed. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, the Squad, and other Democrats are promoting a political philosophy that is based entirely on envy.

The other thing that’s happening is that as candidates like Zohran Mamdani win elections. these radical leftists see this political philosophy as a path to success and they’re all trying to emulate it.

FOX News has details:

Squad member Summer Lee calls ‘upper class’ the ‘enemy’ at El-Sayed rally

Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., suggested that higher-earning Americans were the real “enemy” during a campaign rally headlined by a far-left social media influencer on Tuesday.

“I see other people who are fighting like hell to make you feel like your enemy is sitting next to you,” Lee said in a video posted by The Washington Free Beacon. “That your enemy is somebody who worships differently than you are, or looks differently than you are, comes from a different socioeconomic background than you, unless they are the upper class.”

“They only have the politics of fear and division and destruction and disruption. They need us to keep our focus away from the people who have participated in the biggest sex trafficking ring in our country,” Lee continued, appearing to reference the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “I need you to instead lead and learn and live in your power.”

Lee, a left-wing lawmaker affiliated with “the Squad,” made the remarks during a campaign event she participated in to boost Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., another “Squad” member who is supporting El-Sayed, was in attendance.

See the video below:

The left will keep going down this road for as long as it continues working. If these candidates start losing elections, it will fade away but it doesn’t look as if that is about to happen any time soon. This is the ascendant wing of the party.

The Democrats are no longer the party of JFK.

Trump Shows Why Congress Should Decide When America Goes to War

Trump Shows Why Congress Should Decide When America Goes to War

An erratic executive without checks is a danger to the country and to the world.

U.S. President Donald Trump returns to White House from Florida

President Donald Trump took the world to the brink by threatening war crimes and full-scale genocide if Iran did not surrender to his demands. On Tuesday, he “TACO’d” an hour before his self-imposed deadline, but left some observers urging the Cabinet to use the 25th Amendment to remove him in response to his unhinged rantings.

He apparently is preparing to request $200 billion or perhaps even more from Congress to fund his war against Iran. In little more than five weeks, his lawless attack has achieved an unusual trifecta: destabilizing the Middle East, shocking the international energy market, and threatening the global economy—all for the benefit of a foreign nation rather than America.

So far congressional Republicans have refused to assert their constitutional responsibilities over the Iran war. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) claimed that a declaration of war is “not required because it’s defensive in nature,” dressing Trumpian logic in Orwellian rhetoric. Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), since confirmed as secretary of homeland security, justified his dereliction of duty: “We don’t need 535 commanders-in-chief.” No, but the Constitution empowers Congress to decide whether the one commander-in-chief has a war to fight.

Another oft-repeated argument is that the Islamic Republic has been at war with America, so the president is entitled to bomb, invade, and occupy it without congressional authority. It would be more accurate to admit that America has been at war with Iran for 73 years, beginning with the overthrow of its democracy in 1953. Washington supported the dictatorial shah, even urging Tehran to use lethal force against demonstrators in 1978; aided Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Iran in 1980, while ignoring its use of chemical weapons; participated in the infamous “tanker war,” defending oil shipments used to subsidize Baghdad; shot down an Iranian airliner in 1988, for which President George H.W. Bush refused to apologize; killed a top Iranian official in 2018, while he visited Iraq; and for decades imposed economic sanctions on Tehran, surrounded Iran with military bases, and issued military threats against the Islamist regime.

The president’s performance has been bizarre as well as hypocritical. He insists, as nations around the world stumble toward recession, that he acted for them, so it is up to them to get the oil they need. He removed sanctions on oil sold by Iran while threatening to wipe out Iranian civilization. He declared his support for the Iranian people while warning that he would bomb them back into “the Stone Ages.”

America’s founders would not have been surprised by such a performance. They revolted against not just Great Britain, but an entire monarchical system in which kings, emperors, queens, czars, and other royals ruled arbitrarily. Among monarchs’ chief crimes was callously taking their peoples into senseless wars for economic plunder, territorial aggrandizement, and personal glory—rather like Trump’s Iranian misadventure.

Those who drafted the Constitution wanted to ensure that America didn’t suffer similar travails. Although the president is the commander-in-chief of the military (not the country!), he is subject to Congress’s control. Indeed, its authority is transcendent. Article I, Section 8 provides that Congress is empowered “To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water; To raise and support armies … To provide and maintain a navy; To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces; To provide for calling forth the militia … To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia.”

George Washington, for whom the presidency was essentially designed, observed, “The Constitution vests the power of declaring war with Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject, and authorized such a measure.” Another strong president, Abraham Lincoln, agreed with the Constitution’s authors that war was “the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions; and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us.”

More than a century later, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia insisted, “Except for the actual command of military forces, all authorization for their maintenance and all explicit authorization for their use is placed in the control of Congress under Article I, rather than the president under Article II.” Other conservatives today denigrate Congress’s warpower, even claiming that wars are not wars. But, had the issue been a mere matter of semantics, the founders would have paid little attention to it.

Instead, they took the power to declare war quite seriously. Thomas Jefferson lauded the Constitution for providing an “effectual check to the dog of war by transferring the power of letting him loose.” At the Constitutional convention, Elbridge Gerry rejected proposals for expansive presidential warmaking power, stating that he “never expected to hear in a republic a motion to empower the Executive alone to declare war.” Several drafters explained that they sought to make it more difficult for the chief executive to act, in the words of George Mason “clogging rather than facilitating war.”

James Madison argued that the “fundamental doctrine of the Constitution [is] that the power to declare war is fully and exclusively vested in the legislature.” This system, said James Wilson, “will not hurry us into war,” but rather, “is calculated to guard against it. It will not be in the power of a single man, or a single body of men, to involve us in such distress; for the important power of declaring war is in the legislature at large.” Oliver Ellsworth looked at it from the other end, arguing that “it should be more easy to get out of war than into it.” Even Alexander Hamilton, the premier advocate of expansive executive power and quasi-monarchy, wrote in Federalist 69 that “the President is to be commander-in-chief of the army and navy of the United States. In this respect his authority would be nominally the same with that of the king of Great Britain, but in substance much inferior to it.”

These sentiments are even more relevant today than in 1787 when the Constitution was drafted. The extraordinary impact and reach of America’s military makes it imperative to circumscribe executive warmaking. As Lord Acton famously observed, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” The resulting danger afflicts even the best-intentioned actors, believers in American exceptionalism who imagine that they stand taller and see further, and thus are entitled to “rain down” hell upon an unclean world.

The revolutionary generation that vigorously debated and only narrowly ratified the Constitution would be horrified if confronted by the result of their labor. The Columbia law professor John Bassett Moore observed, “There can hardly be room for doubt that the framers of the Constitution when they vested in Congress the power to declare war, never imagined that they were leaving it to the executive to use the military and naval forces of the United States all over the world for the purpose of actually coercing other nations, occupying their territory, and killing their soldiers and citizens, all according to his own notions of the fitness of things, as long as he refrained from calling his action war or persisted in calling it peace.” In this century alone Washington has squandered trillions of dollars and thousands of lives in dubious wars. Hundreds of thousands of foreigners have died as a result. Many more have been injured, even maimed. The social and economic consequences have been incalculable. As we are seeing in the Persian Gulf today.

Nor is this the first time that foreign interests have manipulated American officials. After the French Revolution Paris sought to enlist the new American nation against Great Britain, creating sharp dissension within the Washington administration. A couple hundred years later an ambitious Iraqi exile played U.S. officials for fools and helped push the US into a disastrous war. Today Israel’s prime minister has gloried in dominating US policy and using Washington to achieve his 40-year ambition of waging war against Iran.

It is time for Congress to reassert its constitutional powers. War, absent instances of exigent self-defense, should never be left to one person, especially one who, like Trump, declared the only limits on his power to be “my own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.” His willingness to wage an illegal war and threaten another nation’s destruction demonstrates Congress’s obligation to reassert its constitutional responsibilities. Legislators should start by rejecting the Trump administration’s request to fund its illegal Iran campaign. Money should be granted only to end rather than extend the combat.

War remains a terrible necessity, but only very rarely. Despite the chaos and instability of today’s world, America remains the most secure great power ever. Military action should always be a last resort, justified only by the most serious, even vital interests. Presidents have consistently proved that they cannot be trusted. Legislators should reassert their constitutional responsibilities.

Why Trump Turned Chilly Toward Taiwan

Why Trump Turned Chilly Toward Taiwan

With the Iran war raging, the last thing the U.S. needs is conflict with China.

After the 2024 election, there were widespread expectations throughout the international system that Donald Trump, in his second term, would consolidate and strengthen the existing already close security cooperation between the United States and Taiwan. The bilateral relationship had noticeably tightened during Trump’s first term, and that trend continued throughout Joe Biden’s presidency.

Moreover, U.S. diplomatic and military backing for democratic Taiwan against its authoritarian nemesis, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), has received strong broad bipartisan support among both the American public and Congress. Washington’s diplomatic and security collaboration with Taipei had become so extensive that it began to rival the bilateral relationship during the Cold War, when the United States maintained a formal mutual defense treaty with the island.

The expected surge in bilateral cooperation has not yet materialized. Indeed, the president has exhibited annoyance with the authorities in Taipei regarding a variety of issues. Trump has lobbed allegations that unfair Taiwanese trade practices have injured U.S. firms. He also has accused the U.S. client of free-riding on Washington’s security exertions in East Asia—a point that he raised during the presidential campaign.

Conservative analysts highlighted Trump’s unexpectedly chilly attitude toward Taipei in a Wall Street Journal article published last month. They detected a marked difference in tone from his earlier period in the White House:

While Trump’s first term featured open confrontation with China, his interest in re-engaging with Beijing reflects a recognition that the hostility has become too costly for American businesses and that critical U.S. interests—from managing China’s chokehold on rare-earth minerals to stanching the flow of fentanyl—require a transactional dialogue.

The authors added that the president’s “ambivalence on Taiwan” creates a “historic opportunity for China.”

Former Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton and other staunchly pro-Taiwan hardliners in the U.S. foreign policy community expressed similar warnings even earlier. Bolton’s September 24 article in The Hill asserted that Trump might be “abandoning Taiwan to China’s tender mercies.”

Trump also has shown enhanced receptivity to basing U.S. foreign policy in general on the need to negotiate pragmatic “deals” with the handful of great powers in the international system. In terms of importance to U.S. economic and strategic interests, the PRC would be at the top of the list for applying the principles of such a “transactional” approach to U.S. policy. Conversely, defending the human rights and de facto independence of a small country located barely 200 miles from China’s coast—an island that Beijing claims as rightfully part of the PRC—does not seem terribly compatible with that approach.

Trump also likely views Taiwan’s current president, Lai Ching-te (William Lai), with mixed emotions. Lai has expressed a firm willingness to back Washington’s continued status as East Asia’s hegemon. In adopting that approach, he has received firm backing from Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. However, as with previous Taiwanese governments that have favored hardline policies toward Beijing, Lai’s stance has involved more rhetoric than substance. In fairness, Taipei has extended its conscription system and made a modest increase in its defense budget. Even the revised figure still falls well short of what the Trump administration advocates, though, and what would be needed for an effective Taiwanese capability to repel a PRC invasion.

All those factors have produced a rather lukewarm posture from the Trump administration toward Washington’s longstanding Taiwanese client. After his first summit meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping in December 2025, Trump boasted that he had received a pledge from Xi that the PRC would not take any military action to change Taiwan’s political status during the remainder of Trump’s term. In late February 2026, the administration set off new alarm bells among Taiwanese opinion leaders and the island’s passionate backers in the United States. The White House indicated that the president might be prepared to discuss with Beijing the latest U.S. arms package for Taiwan. The obvious implication was that the administration might be willing to scale back that measure.

Beijing appears to be adopting an opportunistic strategy to exploit policy differences between the U.S. and Taiwanese governments as well as domestic political divisions in Taiwan. In late March, Xi invited Cheng Li-wun, the leader of Taiwan’s Kuomintang (KMT) party—the principal opposition faction to Lai and the pro-independence DPP—to visit the mainland. Cheng accepted enthusiastically and scheduled a trip for this week.

Xi’s invitation is an attempt to restore the less confrontational course the PRC pursued toward the last KMT administration, led by Ma Ying-jeou, from 2008 to 2016. During that period, economic and cultural relations between Beijing and Taipei expanded dramatically and military tensions in the Taiwan Strait eased. Xi’s current implicit message is that if Taipei abandons its assertive policies that emphasize the island’s de facto independence, a similar quiet era of mutual benefit could ensue.

Beijing also may be sending other subtle signals of its desire to avoid a crisis over Taiwan—at least in the short term. In late February, a sudden, dramatic lull in PRC military flights near the island began. On March 11, New York Times correspondent Chris Buckley noted that “12 of the past 13 days, no Chinese military flights were recorded near Taiwan.” It was a dramatic change from the usual pattern.

One should not read too much significance into the gesture; the typical pace of PRC air and naval operations resumed thereafter and has continued unabated. Nevertheless, it is possible that Beijing could be sending Washington a message that the PRC is prepared to ease tensions in the Taiwan Strait if Taipei and its U.S. patron are willing to reciprocate.

Trump might be receptive to such a modus vivendi. His administration is preoccupied with the war that it launched against Iran. With the global energy markets in turmoil and crude oil prices spiking, the last thing that Washington wants or needs is a crisis in the Taiwan Strait. Trump thus has a strong incentive to put some distance between U.S. policy and the course that Lai and other hardliners advocate. Bolton and other ardent supporters of Taiwan in the United States may have good reason to fret about the president’s surprising ambivalence about policy regarding the island.

JD Vance’s Task Force Uncovers $6 Billion in Potential Fraud, Begins Taking Action: Report

Official press briefing at the White House featuring a speaker addressing key issues, with U.S. flags in the background.

Official press briefing at the White House featuring a speaker addressing key issues, with U.S. flags in the background.

Vice President J.D. Vance has reportedly uncovered over $6 billion in potential fraud after President Donald Trump tapped him to lead a nationwide task force meant to root out criminal activity.

The task force has identified $6.3 billion in government contracts linked to potentially fraudulent businesses, The Daily Caller reported Wednesday.

“The task force, alongside the General Services Administration (GSA), are beginning to send out letters to nearly 400 businesses with government contracts that they believe could be fraudulent,” according to the report. The investigation found 895 contracts awarded to 392 businesses, totaling $6.3 billion, “with $3 billion still left to be rewarded.”

These businesses will have 30 days to prove their legitimacy and must provide evidence of a real, physical location where their operations take place.

The task force was created shortly after reports circulated of mass fraud that was uncovered in Minnesota earlier this year, when multiple day care centers — many run by Somali immigrants — were found to have no children enrolled, yet were still receiving massive quantities of taxpayer funds.

The Department of Justice estimated that several billion dollars have been stolen by phony organizations in Minnesota alone. The DOJ cited examples of waste and mismanagement of social services programs meant to provide food and health care for the needy.

In his executive order establishing the task force, Trump wrote, “The staggering fraud and waste in Minnesota alone is a case in point. Federal prosecutors in the State estimate that Medicaid fraud in recent years could total in the billions. Nearly 9 percent of the roughly $866 million spent on food stamps in Minnesota each year is estimated to be spent in error.”

The commander in chief also addressed fraud numbers during a speech in February, adding that, “There’s been no more stunning example than Minnesota, where members of the Somali community have pillaged an estimated $19 billion from the American taxpayer. We have all the information and, in actuality, the number is much higher than that.”

The majority of the contracts that are currently under scrutiny were awarded under the Biden administration, a senior administration official told The Daily Caller.

“The fact that these taxpayer dollars went out without verifying if the contractors and vendors were even real or lawful businesses is a disgrace and yet another example of how the previous administration flouted basic anti-fraud guardrails,” a senior White House official told the news outlet.

Vance met with his new anti-fraud team for the first time March 27.

A spokesperson for the vice president added, “[The] task force will leave no stone unturned in the hunt for fraud. If fraudsters are robbing hardworking Americans of their tax dollars and services, we will find them.”

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will be a main target of the new group for alleged immigration fraud, joining fellow Minnesota Democrats Gov. Tim Walz and state Attorney General Keith Ellison.

Walz and Ellison were grilled before Congress in March over what they knew, and when they knew it, concerning the recent fraud scandals.

One lawmaker, Republican House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, who also hails from Minnesota, said during the hearing that if allegations against Ellison are proven to be true, he belongs in jail.

“Mr. Ellison, my concern is that you actively obstructed this investigation in exchange for campaign donations — a quid pro quo. If these concerns are proven to be true, you should be disbarred, and you should go to jail,” Emmer declared.

Walz’s actions were also put under a microscope during that same hearing, when GOP Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio pressed the former vice-presidential nominee about the Feeding our Future fraud case.

Jordan accused Walz of lying about restarting payments to the organization after they were initially suspended, saying, “Why didn’t you just tell the truth about the Feeding Our Future program? This program, in my understanding, received $3 million the first year, [and] within a couple years was getting $200 million of taxpayer money. Whistleblowers raised concerns, as the chairman said. Auditors raised concerns. Everybody raised concerns.”

“March 30, 2021, the payments are stopped, and a little over a month later, the payments are restarted,” he continued. “Why didn’t you tell the truth about why you restarted the payments?”

Walz claimed the payments were resumed due to a court order, but a statement on the Minnesota judicial branch web site explained that no such order was ever issued.

“Well, somebody’s lying!” Jordan proclaimed. “Somebody’s lying. Because you can’t say the court ordered you to restart the payments, and then the court says, ‘We didn’t order you to restart the payments.’ So either you’re lying, or the court’s lying. And I’m just asking you, which one is it?”

Walz claimed it “simply” came down to a “misinterpretation,” but Jordan disagreed, saying Walz likely feared “political backlash” from the Somali community.

Fascist Colorado Democrat Says He is ‘Creating Lists’ of People in the Trump Administration to ‘Hold Accountable’ in the Future (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

Democrat Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado recently appeared on MSNOW and said that he is creating ‘lists’ of people in the Trump administration to go after in the future.

These people don’t seem to realize that they are the fascists. They are the ones who want to use the power of the state to go after their perceived political enemies. They are the ones who are chomping at the bit to wield power over others.

It should be noted that Crow was one of the Democrats who urged the military to ignore supposedly illegal orders. Also, last summer he claimed it was ‘dangerous’ for Tulsi Gabbard to hold Obama accountable for the Russigate hoax.

FOX News reports:

Democratic lawmaker warns he’s ‘taking names,’ creating list of people who need to be held accountable

Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., said he was “taking names” and creating his own list on Tuesday when pressed on how Democrats were going to respond to what MS NOW reported as an “enemies” list from the Trump Department of Justice (DOJ), specifically with regard to his participation in a video telling U.S. military personnel to refuse hypothetical illegal orders from the Trump administration.

MS NOW’s Ari Melber, after displaying a graphic of the alleged “enemies” list, said, “Pam Bondi’s out, partly because she has zero wins on this. Probably a good thing for the rule of law, but was a bad thing for her. What do you say to her, to Todd Blanche, who appears to be pursuing a similar program? What will the Congress do? And if they break laws within the DOJ of selective prosecution, will they ever be held accountable?”

Crow argued that strong leadership required them to be thrown “into the fire” and to “pick fights,” as Melber asked him again what they were going to do about it.

“Well, accountability will come, sooner or later,” he said. “You can’t hide from that. We are taking names. I’m creating my own lists of people that need to have oversight and accountability. It is so important right now that people understand that if you’re in this administration, and you’re asked to violate the law, or violate your oath, or turn your back on the Constitution, that you will be judged — one way or another, at some point or another.”

Here’s the video:

For two years now, Democrats have been accusing Trump of being on a ‘revenge tour.’ What would they call this? Rep. Crow is plotting revenge. Plain and simple.

Stats Show Trump’s Immigration Policies Are Doing Very Real and Long Term Damage to the Political Power of Blue Cities and States

President Trump shuts down media hysteria after casting a legal mail-in ballot

Now that President Trump has shut down the border and stopped the flow of new people into blue cities and states, they are not able to maintain their population levels as people flee to better places like Texas and Florida.

With smaller populations, these cities and states are going to lose significant electoral power in the present, but even more so in the future. Long term, this is a disaster for them and that is the source for much of their rage.

The left tries to frame their anti-ICE protests as a humanitarian issue but it has nothing to do with that. It’s all about the loss of political power, which is all they have ever really cared about.

The entire issue can be summarized by this chart. Those red lines are population loss:

Zachary Donnini writes at Substack:

Trump’s Crackdown Sends Migration Plunging

Over the past several election cycles, immigration has become one of the defining issues in American politics. Although President Donald Trump campaigned on more restrictive immigration policies in the 2016 presidential election, net international migration was actually higher in his first term than in Obama’s. After migration rose to unprecedented levels by the end of Biden’s presidency, Trump has followed through on his campaign rhetoric, with his administration implementing a markedly stricter approach to immigration enforcement in his second term. I estimate that net international migration has plummeted to roughly one-third of the levels observed at the end of Biden’s second term. Official U.S. Census Bureau projections already indicate that net international migration in 2026 is expected to be roughly nine times lower than in 2024—an estimate I view as broadly reasonable.

The largest declines in net international migration have occurred in Democratic-leaning urban areas—particularly in California, Chicago, and the Northeast, but also in parts of Texas, Colorado, and Florida. Given that the Census has already signaled that 2030 U.S. House reapportionment may already be unfavorable to Democratic states, a continuation of this trend—where domestic outmigration from blue states is not offset by international inflows—could further exacerbate those losses and frankly make the 2032 Electoral Map pretty scary for Democrats.

The Democrats’ loss is the Republicans’ gain.

As people flee these blue states and cities for red states, the blues will lose representation and the reds will pick up more. More people in Congress, more electoral votes, etc.

It’s important to keep this in the back of your mind when the Democrats throw their next temper tantrum. They don’t talk about this issue very much but it is driving much of their rage.

Husband and wife on a small boat, smiling and waving, during a news segment about a woman reported missing at sea.

The US Coast Guard on Wednesday launched a criminal investigation into the disappearance of an American woman who went overboard near Elbow Cay in the Bahamas.

Authorities are searching for Lynette Hooker, 55, after she went overboard late Saturday night while she was on a dinghy boat with her husband, Brian Hooker.

Brian Hooker, 59, said his wife fell from the boat late Saturday night during inclement weather and rough seas.

Earlier Wednesday, Lynette Hooker’s daughter shared a voicemail her stepfather left her after her mother disappeared.

Brian Hooker did not sound distressed or upset.

“I found the flotation device that I threw to mom after she went overboard,” Brian Hooker said.

On Wednesday evening, police took Brian Hooker into custody for questioning.

NBC News reported:

A man was in custody Wednesday in connection with the disappearance of an American woman whose husband said she fell from a boat in the Bahamas, according to the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

Earlier Wednesday, an official with the U.S. Coast Guard said the military branch opened a criminal investigation into her disappearance.

The official declined further comment about the weekend disappearance of Lynette Hooker, 55.

Brian Hooker has said his wife fell in the water Saturday night during rough seas on a dinghy ride from Hope Town to Elbow Cay.

The police force said a 59-year-old American was being questioned after being taken into custody shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday in Marsh Harbour, a town in Abaco Islands.

The police force did not identify the man in its news release, nor did it name Lynette Hooker, but provided details about the case the aligned with information about her disappearance.

Local authorities said Tuesday that the effort to find her was a “recovery operation.”
