President Trump on Sunday called into Fox News and went off on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooter.

The would-be assassin, Cole Allen sent an anti-Trump manifesto to his family members right before he stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton and opened fire on a Secret Service Agent.

President Trump, First Lady Melania, Vice President Vance and others were rushed out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after an armed man exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents.

The President and his entire Cabinet were safely evacuated after shots were fired in the lobby of the Washington Hilton at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

WATCH:

The shooter, identified as Cole Allen, 31, of Torrence, California, was taken into custody and charged with using a firearm during a crime of violence and assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon.

The president said a Secret Service Agent was shot during his encounter with Cole Allen.

On Sunday it was revealed that Cole Allen wrote a manifesto and expressed his hatred for “pedophile, rapist” Trump.

Cole Allen’s manifesto sounded like Democrat-media talking points. He called himself a ‘friendly federal assassin.’

The shooter also mocked the Secret Service and said he walked right into the hotel with multiple weapons and no one noticed.

“Like, the one thing that I immediately noticed walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance. I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat,” he wrote, according to The New York Post.

“The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before. Like, this level of incompetence is insane, and I very sincerely hope it’s corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again,” he wrote.

Per The New York Post:

Gunman Cole Allen sent an anti-President Trump manifesto to his family members about 10 minutes before opening fire at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner — calling himself the “Friendly Federal Assassin” and revealing he was trying to kill Trump administration officials, The Post has learned.

“Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial,” Allen wrote in the document, which a relative provided to police, a US official said.

“I’m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.”

Allen described his targets as including “Administration officials (not including [FBI Director Kash] Patel): they are targets, prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest.”

“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” Allen wrote, apparently referring to the president.

President Trump addressed Cole Allen’s manifesto in a phone call to Fox News.

“That guy is a sick guy… he hates Christians,” Trump said.

Aldi has announced plans to remove more than 40 ingredients from its private-label food, vitamin, and supplement products by the end of 2027.

The German discount supermarket chain has rapidly expanded its footprint in the United States over the past decade, growing to more than 2,000 stores nationwide.

The company has now confirmed that 44 additional additives will be phased out, including artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, and sweeteners.

Among those set to be eliminated are Acesulfame K, Bromated Flour, Calcium Bromate, Potassium Bromate, Potassium Nitrate, Propylene Oxide, and Titanium Dioxide.

“At the heart of our private label products is a commitment to listening to our customers and continually improving the products they bring into their homes,” said Scott Patton, Aldi’s Chief Commercial Officer.

“Based directly on customer feedback, we are proud to take meaningful steps to make it even easier for families to fill their carts with confidence by delivering simpler ingredients while continuing to provide the quality and value they expect from ALDI.”

The move was celebrated by Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who urged other companies to “follow their lead.”

Kennedy has long made reducing chemical additives in the food supply a central part of his “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda, arguing that processed foods and synthetic ingredients are driving chronic disease.

Back in 2015, Aldi became one of the first national grocers to eliminate synthetic colors from private-label items.

Ingredients already removed include Brominated Vegetable Oil and several synthetic dyes, such as FD&C Blue No. 1, Blue No. 2, Green No. 3, Red No. 2, Red No. 3, and Red No. 40.

Other retailers are making similar changes. Walmart has said it will remove synthetic dyes and certain additives from store-brand products by 2027.

Target announced it will require all cereals it sells to eliminate artificial dyes by the end of May.

.Meanwhile, PepsiCo has introduced versions of Cheetos and Doritos without artificial dyes or flavors and said it plans to phase out artificial colors and flavors in brands like Lay’s and Tostitos.

The company has also indicated it will shift toward using oils such as avocado and olive oil instead of canola and soybean oil.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Gives Firsthand Account of WHCD Shooting: ‘I Was a Few Feet Away from Him as He Was Shooting,’ Says He Wondered, ‘Is He Trying to Shoot Me?’ (VIDEO)

CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer provided a detailed eyewitness account of the shooting that erupted Saturday night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, as he was just feet away from the gunman when the chaos began.

In an interview following the incident, Blitzer described being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as he was walking back from the men’s room when gunfire suddenly erupted nearby.

A police officer immediately threw him to the ground for protection as the shooter opened fire with what Blitzer repeatedly called “a very, very serious weapon.”

“It was a very, very serious weapon, he starts shooting,” Blitzer said. “I happened to have been a few feet away from him as he was shooting. And of course, the first thing that went through my mind, is he trying to shoot me?”

Blitzer emphasized that he had no idea who or what the shooter was targeting.

“All of a sudden, I heard these loud, very loud, very scary gunshots right near me. Next thing I knew, a police officer threw me to the ground and was on top of me,” Blitzer said.

“I had no idea, as I was hearing the gunshots, who this shooter was aiming at, or if he was just trying to scare everybody,” Blizter said. “And, of course, the first thing that went through my mind was whether he was going to shoot me.”

“It was a terrible, very frightening moment for me,” Blizter stated.

The anchor confirmed he did see the gunman on the ground after he started shooting.

“Police officers threw him to the ground, but he was still shooting. And I could hear the shots going off,” Blizter said.

WATCH:

The shooting occurred near the security screening area and magnetometers just outside the main ballroom, where President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and hundreds of attendees were gathered.

The suspect, 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, had checked into the hotel as a registered guest and was armed with a shotgun, handgun, and multiple knives before allegedly assembling a long weapon and opening fire.

One Secret Service agent was struck but saved by his bulletproof vest.

No other injuries were reported, and Allen was taken into custody alive.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro has confirmed Allen has been charged with at least two counts so far, using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.

“This individual was intent on doing as much harm and as much damage as he could,” Pirro said.

Pirro made it clear that prosecutors are not done, stating that additional charges are coming as the investigation continues.

The Gateway Pundit will continue following developments in the ongoing investigation, including the suspect’s Monday court appearance on multiple felony charges.

FLASHBACK: Scott Adams Called Out the Southern Poverty Law Center as ‘Not a Legitimate Group’ Six Years Ago (VIDEO)

Screencap of Rumble video.

The dearly departed Scott Adams knew that the Southern Poverty Law Center was a total fraud organization years ago and called them out for it during an episode of his podcast.

Adams noted that while the SPLC refused to call Antifa an extremist organization, they did put Dr. Ben Carson on an extremist list.

Now that the SPLC has been exposed for allegedly paying racist groups to perform racist acts so that they could fundraise off of it, they should be shut down. They have done tremendous harm to the country.

From Focus on the Family:

Scott Adams, the “Dilbert” creator who died in January, also warned about the Southern Poverty Law Center.

“Now, remember how I always tell you that if you know what happened, you might not know anything,” Adams said last year. “But if you know who was involved, well, now you might know something.”

He continued:

“If your job is to identify ghosts, are you going to find any ghosts? Of course you will, because you get paid for it. If your job is to identify hate groups, are you going to find some new hate groups every year? Or are you going to find all the ones that exist, and then you say, you know, we don’t even need to get any funding for the next year, I don’t even know why we have a staff.

He concluded:

“So, you can’t trust anybody who gets paid by the amount of hate that they identify. They’re going to find some hate. But is it real? No, Turning Point USA is nothing like a group, not even close.”

Adams was right, but he obviously wasn’t the only one waving the warning flag on the deviousness and destructiveness of the group’s tactics.

See the clips below:

It’s so sad that Scott Adams left us so soon, but his body of work will live on for years and years to come. He is still teaching all of us.

The truth is brutal: our mitochondria are starving.

Here comes the cavalry nobody else is talking about: Methylene Blue, NAD, and PQQ. Three heavy hitters, one knockout punch – combined into one tablet: Recharge.

The heavy hitters of Recharge:

  • Methylene Blue—the same stuff Navy SEAL docs and Nobel winners have geeked out over for a century—flips your mitochondria into overdrive and floods your brain with oxygen. Without it, you’re thinking with a wet blanket over your skull.

  • NAD? Your levels tanked the day you blew out 30 candles. That’s why food turns to sludge instead of jet fuel. Top it off or stay stuck.

  • PQQ? This bad boy grows brand-new mitochondria like a mad scientist on payday. You can’t eat enough blueberries on God’s green earth to move the needle.

Recharge is the world’s first tablet to combine pharmaceutical-grade Methylene Blue, NAD, and PQQ. Nothing else even comes close.

Two capsules with your morning coffee. That’s the entire “protocol.” Willpower-proof.

‘Staged Theatrical Event’: Bluesky Leftists Insist Latest Trump Assassination Attempt Was a False Flag

President Donald Trump moments before he was evacuated from the building.

President Donald Trump was the apparent target of another assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday night.

The event was safely evacuated after shots were fired in the lobby as a man attempted to breach the Secret Service protection.

The suspect has since been identified as 31-year-old Cole Allen, a school teacher from Torrance, California.

A Secret Service Agent was shot and injured during the incident.

However, the miserable leftists over on Bluesky are absolutely convinced that the event was a “staged theatrical event.”

Among their wild theories was the idea that the attack would somehow increase Republican success in the midterms and distract from Trump’s alleged dealings with Jeffrey Epstein.

Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged. Staged.

Does anyone really care that Trump ‘staged’ another false flag attack on his pathetic life…

Ummm…anyone?!

Didn’t think so. 😎✨

— Ricky Davila (@therickydavila.bsky.social) 26 April 2026 at 06:54

According to police in Washington, D.C., the suspect had checked into the hotel before his attempted rampage.

They added that it was an “isolated incident” and there is “no reason to believe at this time that anyone else was involved” and there was no risk of “any sort of danger to the public.”

Trump: ‘I Hate to Say I’m Honored’ by Repeated Assassination Attempts, ‘They Go After the Most Impactful People’ (VIDEO)

Just hours after an armed gunman opened fire inside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, President Donald Trump held a no-holds-barred press conference from the White House late Saturday night, during which he explained that he is “honored,” in a way, by the multiple assassination attempts.

In one of the most powerful moments of the briefing, Trump responded directly to a reporter’s question about why assassination attempts keep happening to him.

“The ones that do the most, they go after. They go after impactful people,” Trump stated. “I hate to say I’m honored by that.”

Over 250 Journalists Sign Letter Demanding ‘Forceful’ Protest Against Trump at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

One Secret Service agent was struck by a bullet but survived thanks to his bulletproof vest.

Trump confirmed the agent’s condition during the briefing, saying, “I just spoke to the officer. He’s in great shape!”

Trump praised the vest for doing its job and preventing what could have been a tragedy.

No other injuries were reported, and Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and all members of the cabinet were confirmed safe and evacuated without harm.

The dinner was cut short, despite Trump saying that he had wanted to return.

For weeks leading up to the event, mainstream media figures had been in full meltdown mode over Trump’s decision to attend the event for the first time in his second term.

Over 250 journalists and press freedom advocates signed an open letter to the White House Correspondents’ Association demanding a “forceful” public condemnation of Trump from the podium. The letter accused the president of “systematic, sustained, and unprecedented attacks on the free press” and called for a standing toast to the First Amendment.

Over 250 Journalists Sign Letter Demanding ‘Forceful’ Protest Against Trump at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Signers included retired media heavyweights like Dan Rather and Sam Donaldson.

Meanwhile, outlets like HuffPost announced a full boycott, with Editor-in-Chief Whitney Snyder declaring they could not “stomach” sharing laughs with Trump.

Jim Acosta went even further, demanding on his show that reporters “walk the f-ck out” if Trump criticized the press.

Instead of the planned media virtue-signaling and silent protests with First Amendment pins, the night ended with gunshots, locked doors, and a full evacuation.

No motive has been publicly released by authorities yet, but the location and timing has raised serious questions about the toxic environment created by years of anti-Trump rhetoric from the media and leftist politicians.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro has announced that the suspected White House Correspondents’ Dinner gunman, 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, will appear in federal court Monday for arraignment, and he is already facing serious felony charges with “many” more expected.

Pirro confirmed the suspect has been charged with at least two counts so far, using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.

“This individual was intent on doing as much harm and as much damage as he could,” Pirro said.

Pirro made it clear that prosecutors are not done, stating that additional charges are coming as the investigation continues.

“I, for the first time, was in a situation where there were shots fired, shots heard, and a whole room went silent,” Pirro said. “When I lifted my head and when I looked up, every law enforcement officer was out there as we all had our heads down. All of them tonight acted so quickly that they prevented what could have been a horrific event where we were all sitting there in one room.”

This Clip of CNN’s S.E. Cupp Just Hours Before the WHCD Shooting Last Night Has Aged Like Fine Milk (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

Does everyone remember S.E. Cupp? She used to be a conservative commentator on FOX News years ago, but at some point she came down with an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome and went to work for CNN.

Last night, just hours before the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Cupp made some comments that have not aged well. Like, at all.

With her typical overconfidence and smug sense of moral superiority, Cupp remarked that Trump was being allowed to speak at the WHCD despite the fact that he “wants us [journalists] dead.”

Transcript via Curtis Houck:

“[The @WHCA] made it real easy for him to attend. And I, you know, glad to see everyone’s in great spirits. And this is a party. I’m real bummed. Real bummed about tonight. because here’s what’s happening tonight. Journalism is throwing a party. Journalism is celebrating journalism at this party. Journalism, for some reason, invited Brendan Carr, FCC chair, who is threatening to revoke the licenses of broadcast networks. Pete Hegseth, who removed journalists from the Pentagon, and Donald Trump, who attacks us on the regular.

Now, they’re giving Donald Trump a speaking position to roast us to our faces for an hour. And he doesn’t have to stay for the part where we celebrate journalism and give out awards to journalists and talk about the importance of free speech. And here’s the kicker: we broadcast it on national TV. He could not have planned this scenario better. And guess what? He didn’t. We did. Journalism planned this scenario for Donald Trump. So, if I’m Donald Trump, of course, I come under these conditions.

And you just heard Brian Stelter say that the correspondents association was trying to sort of mend some fences with a guy who wants us dead, figuratively, figuratively. He wants journalism dead. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I don’t think this is a great night for journalism. It’s a night that’s meant to be celebrating it, but I think it’s a real bummer.”

Watch the clip below:

It’s really sad to see what Cupp has become. Bitter, insufferable, and so often, completely wrong.

WHCD Shooting Suspect Told Law Enforcement He Targeted Trump Officials, CBS News Sources Say

Former President Donald Trump speaks at a press conference, while a person is restrained on the floor by law enforcement in a separate scene.
(Left) Donald Trump holds a press conference shortly after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting. (Right) Trump shares an image of the suspect on Truth Social.

A major development has emerged in the investigation into the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, and the implications are serious.

According to two sources cited by CBS News, suspect Cole Tomas Allen allegedly told law enforcement after his arrest that he intended to shoot Trump administration officials.

If that statement is confirmed in court, the entire nature of the case changes. This is no longer just about a shooting attempt in a crowded venue. It becomes a case centered on targeted political violence against federal officials, which carries far more severe legal consequences under federal law.

Intent is one of the most critical factors in any criminal case, especially at the federal level.

An admission like this could open the door to charges well beyond the preliminary firearms and assault counts already announced by U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro.

Prosecutors now have a potential pathway to pursue statutes specifically designed to protect government officials and the federal government’s functioning.

One of the most relevant statutes in this situation is 18 U.S.C. § 115, which criminalizes threats against federal officials in connection with their official duties. This law applies broadly, covering members of Congress, federal judges, law enforcement personnel, and executive branch officials, including cabinet members.

The penalties are significant, with up to 10 years in prison for threats alone, and substantially more if an attempt or actual act of violence is involved.

The reasoning behind the enhanced penalties is straightforward: a threat against a government official is treated not just as a threat to a person, but as an attack on the operation of government.

That distinction matters. Federal prosecutors consistently treat cases involving government officials differently because of the broader implications.

These cases are not limited to individual harm; they are viewed as potential disruptions to government stability and public order.

The setting of the incident could also play a major role. If investigators determine that Allen specifically chose the White House Correspondents’ Dinner because of the expected presence of administration officials, that could support arguments for premeditation.

Planning, target selection, and location are all factors that influence how charges are structured and how aggressively they are pursued.

There is also a more serious possibility. If evidence were to show that the suspect intended to target the President specifically, the case could escalate further under additional federal statutes that deal with threats against the President.

Those laws are among the most strictly enforced and carry some of the harshest penalties in the federal system.

At this stage, the case remains under investigation, and authorities have not publicly confirmed every detail. Statements made to law enforcement must still be corroborated and evaluated alongside other evidence.

However, an admission of intent—especially one involving federal officials—is one of the most powerful pieces of evidence prosecutors can have.

If the reported admission holds, this case will likely move forward not simply as a violent incident but as an alleged attempt at targeted political violence against government officials.

That shift alone could dramatically increase both the severity of the charges and the long-term consequences for the suspect.
