The House Ethics Committee on Monday confirmed it has reviewed 20 matters involving allegations of sexual misconduct by a member of Congress over the last decade.

“Over the last decade, the Committee has adopted a more aggressive and robust approach to allegations of sexual misconduct,” the committee said in a statement.

“Since 2017, the Committee has initiated investigations in 20 matters involving allegations of sexual misconduct by a Member. The Committee has also investigated several Members for their handling of allegations of sexual misconduct by their senior staff.”

The House Ethics Committee said it released its findings after a member of Congress engaged in sexual misconduct.

“Whenever the Committee found a Member to have engaged in or fostered an environment where sexual misconduct took place, the Committee released its findings,” it added.

“The Committee has taken the position that conduct that falls short of legal definitions of sexual harassment or assault under federal or state statutes can still be a violation of the Code of Official Conduct, which imposes a higher standard on Members of the House,” it said.

Eric Swalwell, a Democrat, resigned from Congress and dropped out of the California governor’s race due to the sexual assault allegations.

At least five women have come forward alleging they were sexually assaulted by Swalwell.

Last week, Lonna Drews recounted how Eric Swalwell drugged and raped her in 2018 and choked her to the point of unconsciousness in a West Hollywood hotel room.

“He raped me, and he choked me. And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died. I did not consent to any sexual activity,” she said through tears.

The Justice Department is investigating Swalwell.

Republican Tony Gonzales also resigned last week after the staffer he had an extra-marital affair with took her own life.

Has Zelensky opened up his eyes?

The Globalist magazine The Atlantic comes with an article about how Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky finally realized that Donald J. Trump is not his ally.

Really? Just now?

A quick look back shows that Trump has called Zelensky ‘a Dictator without elections’ since his presidential mandate ended back in 2024.

Trump also called him a ‘modestly successful comedian’ who was ‘the greatest salesman on Earth’ and ‘P.T. Barnum’, for conning feeble Joe Biden into giving him billions.

He called him ‘disrespectful’ for his antics in the Oval Office.

The US president said ‘Ze’ has ‘done a terrible job’, with a country that is ‘shattered’, where ‘millions have unnecessarily died’.

Trump has panned him for ‘refusing to hold elections’, and ‘not being ready for peace’, despite the fact that he ‘has no cards’ (in the negotiations with Russia).

In fact, anyone can see how little regard Trump has for the Kiev regime’s unelected leader.

In the meantime, Trump often spoke of the mutual respect for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Atlantic reported:

“But now Kyiv appears to have given up on the United States. It is aggressively seeking new diplomatic and military partners—for instance, by sharing its hard-won expertise in drone warfare with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates and forging arms-production agreements with Germany. Ukraine has sent drones to attack oil-export facilities near St. Petersburg, deep inside enemy territory, in defiance of what Zelensky called ‘signals’ from unspecified ‘partners’ to avoid striking Russian energy infrastructure.

Using language that would until recently have been unthinkable, Zelensky has indicated that he no longer views the United States as a reliable ally and, even more astonishingly, that all of Europe needs to start moving on from the transatlantic relationship.”

Zelensky is also mad that Trump eased sanctions on Russian oil producers and sellers.

“In an interview last week with Italian radio, Zelensky criticized that decision. ‘In my view, Russia played the Americans again—played the president of the United States’, he said. […] Lest anyone outside Italy miss his point, Zelensky amplified an English-language version of his comments on X.”

Zelensky is also mad that Trump eased sanctions on Russian oil producers and sellers.

“In an interview last week with Italian radio, Zelensky criticized that decision. ‘In my view, Russia played the Americans again—played the president of the United States’, he said. […] Lest anyone outside Italy miss his point, Zelensky amplified an English-language version of his comments on X.”

Besides offering his opinion on matters outside his dubious jurisdiction, ‘Ze’ is also opining on a new security architecture for Europe without the US.

This is bonkers, since Ukraine is not part of the EU or NATO, and literally no one is willing to follow his lead.

It seems that anything far-left Mayor Mamdani touches gets ruined, and the New York Mets are on the receiving end of the Mayor’s bad luck streak.

Mamdani and his radical wife made a stop at Citi Field on April 9, 2026.  During the visit, the duo shared a hug with the team’s two mascots, Mr. and Mrs. Met, and shared the video on social media.

Since then, the Mets have gone 0-11.

The Mets franchise is also in the news for more than just their losing streak. Fans have noticed that for a few years now, there have been no named Jewish heritage nights at Citi Field despite other groups being hosted annually.

The last Jewish Heritage Night was held in September 2023, before the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.

Prior to 2023, the Mets hosted Jewish Heritage Night intermittently for many years (dating back to at least the mid-2000s both at Shea Stadium and later Citi Field. It was not held every single season and was sometimes replaced or alternated with a “Celebrate Israel Night”. The last Celebrate Israel Night was in 2022.

After 2023, the Mets claimed they were moving away from many individual heritage nights for a broader “Celebration of Queens Culture” program.

While there is no Jewish Heritage night on the Mets calendar as of yet for 2026, the following groups are currently included:

• Italian
• Puerto Rican
• Irish
• Black Legacy
• Pride/LGBTQ+
• Japanese
• Korean
• Dominican
• Mexican

Queens has the third-largest Jewish population among NYC boroughs, making up about 6.5% of the population.

Among the groups the Mets have given a “celebration of culture” night, the Japanese population makes up less than 1%, Koreans just under 3%, and Puerto Ricans account for around 5%.

Per National Review:

But fans have noticed that, for a few years consecutively, there have been no named Jewish heritage nights at Citi Field, which used to host them annually. There will be heritage nights for the Irish, Puerto Ricans, Italians, Koreans, blacks, and a Pride Night. New York is a very Jewish city, much more so than it is Irish or Puerto Rican. What gives?

Rumors are that the Mets don’t want to deal with policing antisemitic protests. The night would attract pro-Palestinian and antisemitic activists bringing signs or unfurling banners.

For decades, the NY @Mets have hosted a Jewish heritage event, along with event nights for other cultures.

This year, in a city with the largest Jewish population in America, they canceled it.

Conservative radio host Sid Rosenberg said the Mets are just too woke and Mamdani has not just cursed the Mets, he has cursed the city.

Kamala Harris over the weekend delivered remarks at the Michigan Democratic Women’s Caucus in Detroit.

The failed presidential hopeful talked about her time as Biden’s Vice President, her pathetic 3-month 2024 presidential campaign, and gave feedback on President Trump’s second term.

Harris claimed President Trump was “pulled into” the Iran war by Israel’s Bibi Netanyahu and was using the conflict as “a feeble attempt to distract from the Epstein files.”

Kamala Harris said Trump and his administration are the most incompetent in US history.

“We are dealing with the most corrupt, callous and incompetent presidential administration in the history of the United States,” Harris said.

This is Harris’s first remarks since she suggested that she may run for president again.

Earlier this month, Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Senator Mark Kelly, and other high-profile Democrats and possible 2028 presidential hopefuls were in New York and attended the National Action Network convention.

Harris signaled she may run for president again.

Al Sharpton asked Kamala Harris if she would run for president in 2028 after she got trounced by President Trump in 2024.

“Listen. I might. I’m thinking about it,” Harris said.

“And that’s how I think of it and I am thinking about it in the context of… who and where and how can the best job be done for the American people?” she said.

“I’ll keep you posted,” Kamala added.

Kamala Harris then impersonated Trump as a “mob boss” as she criticized his foreign policy.

Robert Skidelsky, the award-winning British author and economic historian, died last Wednesday of a brain infection. He was 86.

Skidlesky, best known for his widely acclaimed three-volume biography of John Maynard Keynes, was a professor of international studies and political economy at the University of Warwick. A founding member of the Social Democratic Party, he was elevated to the peerage in 1991 and sat in the House of Lords.

Of Russian extraction, Skidelsky in his later years relearned the language and advocated for a better British understanding of Russia. He opposed Putin’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine but was also critical of NATO’s expansion eastward to Russia’s doorstep, before the war.

Skidlesky was a contributor to The American Conservative.

Former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin delivered a powerful warning to voters with just one day remaining before tomorrow’s critical special election referendum. Democrats are spending a staggering $70 million to “fool, trick, and deceive” Virginians into approving a radical constitutional amendment that would impose one of the most partisan gerrymanders in the nation.

The Democrat-backed constitutional amendment would let the Democrat-controlled General Assembly ram through a brand-new congressional map right now, mid-decade, outside the normal 10-year census process.

If it passes, the current six Democrat and five Republican delegations will get wiped out and replaced with a rigged 10 Democrat to one Republican gerrymander that experts call one of the most brazenly partisan maps in the nation.

That would deliver Democrats a net gain of four U.S. House seats heading into the 2026 midterms.

Youngkin appeared on Fox News on Monday to urge Republicans to submit their ballots.

“We have what is assessed as the fairest map in America… six Democrats and five Republicans, but it’s fair. [Democrats] want to override it… turned into the most gerrymandered map in America today… Vote NO tomorrow,” Youngkin said.

Youngkin added that Democrats have poured $70 million, more than they spent on the last governor’s race, into a massive ad blitz “to try to fool, trick and deceive Virginians.”

A “NO” vote, Youngkin says, is a vote for the fairest map in America.

The official ballot question reads:

“Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?”

Democrats, including Barack Obama and Gov. Abigail Spanberger, have framed this brazen move as “restoring fairness” and a response to Republican-led redistricting in other states.

In reality, this is a blatant power grab to lock in supermajorities before the 2026 midterms and beyond.

The proposed map packs Republican voters into one ultra-safe district while carving up the rest to create safe Democratic seats across the board.

Bartiromo asked Khanna, “Are you suggesting that Obama’s leadership on Iran was better?”

“Because under President Obama, there were 14 wire transfers to a— hold on, hold on. There were 14 wire transfers to a Swiss account linked to Hezbollah between 2014 and 2016. That was a total of $1.7 billion.”

“The same $1.7 billion he told Congress was frozen Iranian assets. Now, there was a back channel to Tehran through Valerie Jarrett. Active for 2012 to 2024.”

“This was after he left office. So, you know, he— it was almost like a shadow government. He also sent pallets of cash in a plane to Iran.”

“Now, why would you send money to Iran knowing that they are building a nuclear weapon and they are the leading sponsor of terrorism?”

Unable to dispute a single example of Obama’s support of the brutal Iranian regime,  Khanna replied, “Barack Obama was a great statesman who left America much safer. I wouldn’t put Donald Trump in the same paragraph.”

FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday sued The Atlantic for $250 million for defamation.

Over the weekend Kash Patel has said he will sue The Atlantic magazine over their latest hit piece.

During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday morning, Patel was asked about the recent article that claimed that he has ”alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences.”

“Maria, I’m happy to announce on your show that we’re not going to take this laying down. You want to attack my character? Come at me. Bring it on. I’ll see you in court,” Kash Patel said.

“So you’re going to sue them?” Maria Bartiromo asked Patel.

“Absolutely, it’s coming tomorrow.” Patel said.

“Tomorrow, you will be dropping a lawsuit against The Atlantic magazine?” Maria asked.

“Yes I will, for defamation Because you know what, Maria? We have to fight back against the fake news. Its one of the many things President Trump is so successful at and leading out on,” Patel said.

“I won’t tolerate their attacks on me because they are indirect attacks on the men and women of the FBI that we have cleaned up,” Patel said.

“If the fake news mafia wants to, you know, ring their drum beat as loud as they can, they’re never going to stop me from completing the mission that President Trump asked me to do, which is safeguarding America. And we are doing it better than ever before,” Patel added.

CNBC reported:

FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday morning filed a lawsuit seeking $250 million in damages from The Atlantic magazine for defamation from an article that alleges he abuses alcohol.

Patel, over the weekend, had vowed to sue The Atlantic for the article published on Friday, which carried the headline “Kash Patel’s Erratic Behavior Could Cost Him His Job.”

“The FBI director has alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences,” the article’s subhed says.

Patel’s 19-page suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

In addition to The Atlantic, the civil complaint names the article’s author, Sarah Fitzpatrick, as a defendant.

Patel’s suit said it seeks to hold the defendants “accountable for a sweeping, malicious, and defamatory hit piece.”

The knives are out as the sun sets on Eric Swalwell’s political career.

They always are when the fall is complete and the risk that comes with taking on a prominent Democrat is gone. That is exactly why it was so safe for Bill Maher to put a dagger in Swalwell this past week.

The longtime HBO host spent part of Friday recounting his experiences with Swalwell as though he saw all the scandals coming.

Conveniently, that realization arrived only after defending Swalwell became impossible, and after multiple women accused the disgraced former congressman of egregious behavior.

Maher told his audience on “Real Time” that he “never liked” Swalwell, who he called a “creep.”

“I gotta say, we had him on a couple of times. Ask my staff, I never liked him. I don’t have good gaydar, but I got creepdar. I always thought this guy was a f***ing creep,” he said.

Maher added, “I never liked him, and yet so many Democrats stood by him. Now that we’re finding out that it was such an open secret, you know, I hear this so many times. Bill Clinton, it was an open secret in Arkansas. Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein, you know, even Larry Craig, remember?”

The question is, if Maher believed all of that, why was Swalwell sitting across from him on national television so many times?

Why was he booked, platformed, and normalized for so long if Maher’s intuition told him something was wrong?

Sure, Swalwell’s political collapse unfolded rapidly over the past 10 days.

After launching his gubernatorial campaign in late 2025 and emerging as a leading contender, he was hit with multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and outright accused of rape.

On April 12, he suspended his campaign while denying the most serious accusations. Now he has resigned from Congress entirely.

Only then did the full chorus against him begin.

But Maher is only now part of it, and is suddenly eager to say what they “always knew.”

This is a pattern on the left.

The Democratic Party’s heroes are held up as fighters, and allegations against them are ignored because they are useful for ratings, cash, or legislation.

Then, the moment these people become a liability, the knives come out, and everyone scrambles to distance themselves — including people like Maher, who is often viewed as the reasonable Democrat.

Who else in Congress is being protected right now because they are still useful?

What “open secrets” are quietly being tolerated in the House and Senate until they become politically inconvenient?

How many whispers against other Democrats has Bill Maher heard?

The HBO host deserves some credit for calling out Swalwell as a “creep,” but why wasn’t he doing it in real time when it mattered?

Last week, far-left Governor Abigail Spanberger officially signed legislation that would enter Virginia into the controversial National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) and upend the commonwealth’s electoral landscape.

It would hand Democrats a 10-1 advantage in the U.S. House delegation, expanding a 6D–5R delegation into a potential 10 Democrats, 1 Republican dominance.

Virginia becomes the 19th jurisdiction to join the compact, bringing the total to 222 electoral votes, just 48 shy of the 270 needed to activate the plan.

Under the compact, once the 270 threshold is reached:

• Participating states would award ALL their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner
• This would apply regardless of how voters in their own state actually voted
• In effect, state election results could be rendered meaningless

The Democrats’ big-city machines and open-border policies will decide who becomes President.

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) joined Shannon Bream on Fox News Sunday and said the quiet part out loud. This move is not about fairness or representing voters, it is about stopping Donald Trump.

Bream stated, “Let’s talk about the last vote there in Virginia, the presidential vote. Vice President Kamala Harris won by about 5 percentage points. So the state is relatively split with a left lean, but 90% of House members from Virginia being from one party?”

Kaine responded, “90% of Virginians are not Democrats. That’s true.”

Bream interjected, “Correct.”

Kaine continued, “But about 100% of Virginians want election results to be respected. We’re deeply worried that Donald Trump will try to interfere with the election results this November or in 2028. Because we saw him do it before.”

“And we have to have a Congress that will stand up to it.”

“In 2021, all 5 Republicans in Virginia went along with Donald Trump in his effort to overturn election results.”

“And so we’re giving Virginians a chance to vote, which Republican states have not done, about whether they want to have a congressional delegation that will stand up against Donald Trump’s tyranny.”
