Tom Homan has revealed that Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons and his family endured vicious harassment from the left, including doxxing of his wife and children and protests at their home.

Lyons is stepping down from the agency at the end of May.

In a Newsmax interview on Friday, Homan praised Lyons’ service while highlighting the personal toll the job has taken on him and his family.

Lyons, a career law enforcement official who oversaw record deportations, announced his resignation earlier this week. He cited a desire to spend more time with his family and transition to the private sector, with his last day set for May 31.

Homan told Newsmax, “God bless Todd and his family — his family sacrificed a lot. The left has not only attacked him. They doxed his wife and his kids and protested his home and his family and you know, they deserve a break and I’ll miss him. He’s a friend of mine. I’ll still be friends with him.”

Homan also expressed appreciation for Lyons’ leadership, noting that under his direction, “ICE achieved a record number of removals in the first year of this Administration, despite unprecedented challenges.”

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin confirmed the resignation in a statement provided to Bill Melugin on Thursday.

“Director Lyons has been a great leader of ICE and key player in helping the Trump administration remove murderers, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, and gang members from American communities. He jumpstarted an agency that had not been allowed to do its job for four years. Thanks to his leadership, American communities are safer,” Mullin said.

“We wish him luck on his next opportunity in the private sector. His last day is May 31, 2026.”

The resignation comes as ICE continues high-volume enforcement actions nationwide, with Homan and the Trump administration vowing to press forward despite opposition from sanctuary cities and activist groups.

Lyons has not issued additional public comments on the harassment beyond his internal memo referencing family time.

Jesse Kelly talked about how the average American is struggling financially during a recent episode of his show “The First.”

Kelly explained that Congress and others in DC are ignoring the plight of those struggling while focusing on obscure things like stock market performance, and that those in Washington DC are out of touch with the real struggles of the American people.

He went on to explain that people can’t afford basic things like groceries and cars, let alone home ownership.

“I live in Texas. I hang around normal people. It’s who I talk to. My private life. It’s what I do. People in Washington DC do not understand this very, very simple concept, and this is why I scream about it all the time,” Kelly said.

“Americans can’t afford things anymore, and they remember what it was like to afford things,” Kelly explained.

“Since January of 2021, that’s five years ago, cumulative inflation is between 23 and 25 percent. Also, wages have been flat,” Kelly said.

“When you look at your economy, and you press stop and then print seven trillion dollars, that’s gonna happen,” Kelly continued.

“The truth is that five years ago, you could afford more things than you can now. The American people, they go to the grocery store, and they are upset because they can’t afford things,” Kelly said.

“They can’t afford shoes, they can’t afford cars, they can’t afford gas,” Kelly continued.

“We have people suffering economically in this country. The job market is absolute crap,” Kelly said.

Kelly explained that the American people need to hear from our elected officials on a constant basis that they want to solve this problem to the best of their ability.

“I’ve stressed it over and over and over and over again. People need to think that you are on this problem. Even if you can’t solve this problem, and I believe that we can solve some of these problems,” Kelly said of DC politicians.

“The people need to hear from our elected leaders day after day after day after day that they are trying to solve this problem,” Kelly continued.

Kelly also talked about home-selling and home-buying statistics. The homes on the market are not affordable to many people, creating a gap in the market.

“Home sellers now outnumber buyers by 630,000. The largest gap ever recorded. People are trying to sell their homes. People can’t afford to buy homes,” Kelly explained.

This Democrat just said the quiet part out loud about the Democratic Party’s approach to foreign policy.

During an appearance on NewsNation on Friday, House Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) admitted concerns about the direction of his party on foreign policy.

“Does Democrats effectively taking the side of Iran not bother you?” Smith was asked by the honest.

“I think it is just one of the most dishonest things that perpetuates a war. If you’re not in favor of a war, you’re rooting for us to lose, and you’re rooting for the opposition. That is just a ridiculous argument.

”Are you in favor of a full-scale invasion of Iran to make the regime crack? I don’t think you are. Does that mean you don’t want America to win?”

However, he admitted he was worried about the direction of his party on foreign policy.

“I do worry about where my party is at in foreign policy, that we are moving away [from] fundamental support for the United States.”

“But Donald Trump doesn’t help when he comes out and says, ‘What is the United States of America about?’”

“We want to completely erase the Iranian civilization, we don’t care how many civilians we kill, we have the Secretary of Defense saying, give them no quarter, which means no survivors.”

“Basically, it’s making the United States of America into, basically, a predatory entity. I want to balance those two things. I don’t want my party to wind up too far over there.”

Colombia’s Leftist Petro Warns: US Policy Against Latin American Socialist Countries May Lead to a ‘Rebellion Against Washington’

Petro again voicing dissent from US policy

Petro is trying to rally the remaining leftists in the Western Hemisphere.

One of the most controversial heads of state in Latin America, Colombia’s Gustavo Petro, is again speaking out against the Foreign Policy of US President Donald J. Trump, sending out ‘warnings’ that impress absolutely no one.

Petro has just arrived from Barcelona after a summit with other leftist leaders: Spain’s Pedro Sánchez and Brazil’s Lula da Silva, both trying to survive corruption scandals all around them, and Mexico’s Claudia Shainbaum, who ‘leads’ a country controlled by the Cartels’ ultra-violence.

These failed leaders, of course, pretend to have ‘miraculous’ formulas to improve geopolitical realities, when in fact they are highly unpopular in their own underperforming countries.

Today (18), in an interview with Spanish newspaper El País, Petro opined that US pressure on ‘dissenting Latin American leaders’ (a.k.a. Socialist dictators) could lead to a ‘rebellion’ against Washington’s influence.

“Petro, a former member of the leftist M-19 guerrilla, has frequently clashed with President Donald Trump, whose administration placed him on a sanctions list, compiled by the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, for alleged involvement in the global illicit drug trade.

The 65-year-old, who travelled to Barcelona for a summit alongside the leaders of Spain, Brazil and Mexico, told El Pais the OFAC sanctions were being used as a political instrument to extort ‘those of us who espouse dissenting politics’.”

Watch: Petro booed last Tuesday during a speech.

“It’s a system like the one the Spanish king had a few centuries ago. And what was Latin America’s response? Rebellion. That’s what will happen now if the U.S. government isn’t capable of rethinking its ties to Latin America,” he said.

Petro said that the US operation to capture Nicolas Maduro in January left many leaders in fear, apparently oblivious to the fact that this was 100% intended.

“However, Petro said that his personal relationship with Trump was good. The two had spoken twice recently and shattered false narratives about each other, he said, adding he had not gone to Washington to ‘get on his knees to beg” but they instead met as equals’.”

Newly Revealed Texts Expose Former Senator Kyrsten Sinema Being Confronted by Lover’s Wife: ‘Are You Having an Affair with My Husband? You Took a Married Man Away From His Family.’

Newly released text messages and court filings detail explicit communications between former U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema and her married Senate bodyguard, Matthew Ammel, including a request that he bring the drug MDMA on a work trip so she could “guide him through a psychedelic experience,” a photo of Sinema wrapped only in a towel, and the politician being confronted by his lover’s wife.

The messages were revealed in ongoing court documents in an alienation-of-affection lawsuit filed by Heather Ammel, Matthew Ammel’s estranged wife.

Heather Ammel discovered the exchanges on her husband’s phone and later confronted Sinema directly, according to filings obtained by TMZ.

One message from Sinema to Matthew read, “I miss you. Putting my hand on your heart.” Heather responded to Sinema, “Are you having an affair with my husband? You took a married man away from his family.”

TMZ reports:

Heather said before Kyrsten ruined her marriage, she had a “good and loving marriage and genuine love” with her husband.

She said after Matthew took a 2023 trip with Kyrsten — in his role as her bodyguard — he appeared “uncomfortable.”

She recalled meeting Kyrsten at a U2 concert while with Matthew. Heather said the politician told her, “I feel like I already know you, because I’ve heard so much about you from Matt.”

She said she personally witnessed Matthew receive texts from Kyrsten, including one that had a photo of Kyrsten “wrapped in a towel.” She says the picture “showed her bare upper back with cupping bruises.” In another alleged message, Heather said Krysten asked Matthew to bring MDMA (aka molly or ecstacy) on a work trip, so “she could guide him through a psychedelic experience.”

Heather said the former senator also texted her husband during Biden’s State of the Union address to say she wasn’t attending, because “she didn’t need to listen to some old man, President Biden, talk about the legislation that she wrote.”

She also claims Matthew and Kyrsten “messaged about having sex missionary style with the lights on[.]”

The lawsuit, filed in late 2025 and moved to federal court in North Carolina in January, accuses Sinema of intentionally interfering in the Ammels’ 14-year marriage.

Heather Ammel claims Sinema pursued the relationship, sent romantic and “lascivious” messages via Signal, showered her husband with gifts, and contributed to the marriage’s breakdown.

The lawsuit seeks more than $25,000 in damages.

Sinema has admitted in a sworn declaration filed in March that the relationship “became romantic and intimate” at the end of May 2024 while Matthew Ammel was on her security detail in Sonoma, California.

She said the relationship became physically intimate over the following months in California, New York City, Washington, D.C., Aspen, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona.

The Ammels separated in November 2024 and later divorced.

Sinema’s attorneys have filed a motion to dismiss the case, arguing the North Carolina court lacks personal jurisdiction because Sinema has no significant ties to the state.

In her declaration, Sinema denies sending the towel photo or any message about bringing MDMA. Her legal team maintains that any communications occurred after the marriage had already ended or while Ammel was no longer living with his wife.

On Friday, Heather Ammel’s attorneys filed new documents challenging Sinema’s motion to dismiss, urging the federal judge to keep the case alive.

Sinema left the Senate in 2025 after announcing she would not seek re-election. She has not issued any public statement on the latest text message revelations.

The case remains pending in U.S. District Court in North Carolina. No trial date has been set, and Sinema’s motion to dismiss is still under consideration by the judge.

Brazilian activist Thiago Avila is causing yet another scandal in the new, shady ‘Freedom Flotilla’ to Gaza.

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and her ‘Freedom Flotilla’ are back in the news for all the wrong reasons.

The boats have set sail from Barcelona last Sunday for another support voyage to Gaza, and are already shaken by yet another scandal, after one of its radical leaders is accused of ‘sexual misconduct’ with ‘at least three volunteers’.

Controversies are nothing new; in fact, since the flotilla has been accused of the use of recreational drugs, and last year, famously, the Islamist extremists clashed with the LGBT activists, leading Thunberg to resign from her leadership role.

And while some may be tempted to say this is nothing but Israeli propaganda, the allegations actually come from a Palestinian group.

The New York Post reported:

“’A senior leader within the flotilla — a member of the steering committee, the highest governing body of the organization — engaged in sexual relations with multiple activists while on the boat heading to Gaza. Not one person. Not two. Three different individuals’, claimed Palestinian group Heart of Falastin in a social media post earlier this week.”

“‘To do it on the boat, while heading to a nation undergoing genocide, with volunteers who are under your authority is a clear violation of ethics and power’.

Ceasefire Day 11: Strait of Hormuz Closed, Passage Subject to Coordination with Iran

A two-week ceasefire in the Iran War entered its 11th day on Saturday, as Iran reasserted the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, after temporarily declaring the waterway “open.” 

After the announcement of a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on X Friday that the Strait of Hormuz would be “fully open for the passage of commercial ships for the remaining duration of the ceasefire period.” President Donald Trump thanked Iran, posting that “IRAN HAS JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE STRAIT OF IRAN IS FULLY OPEN AND READY FOR FULL PASSAGE,” notably referring to the Strait of Hormuz as the “Strait of Iran.” In a follow-up post, Trump said that the U.S. blockade of the waterway would continue.

On Friday afternoon, Iran’s IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency published a rebuke of Araghchi’s tweet, calling it “bad and incomplete” and accusing it of “incorrect ambiguity-creation.” The statement said that foreign minister’s tweet “was published without the necessary and sufficient explanations” and “created various ambiguities regarding the conditions for passage, details, and mechanisms.” As per previous reporting, ships are still required to travel on a “coordinated route” north of Larak Island, hugging the Iranian coastline, and pay tolls for passage.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a statement released Saturday morning, said that it is determined to enforce “supervision and control” over the Strait of Hormuz until the “definitive end” of the war and the establishment of a “lasting peace.”

Two Iranian IRGC gunboats attacked a commercial vessel about 20 nautical miles northeast of Oman on Saturday morning, according to a UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) warning.

Reuters reported on Saturday morning that Iran is broadcasting the following radio message to commercial vessels: “Attention all ships, ​regarding the failure ⁠of the U.S. government to fulfil its commitment in the negotiation, Iran declares the Strait of Hormuz completely ​closed again. No vessel of any type or nationality ​is allowed ⁠to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.”

The Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. officials, reported Saturday that the U.S. military is preparing to board Iran-linked oil tankers and seize commercial ships in international waters within the coming days

Rejecting western media reports that Iran would consider a deal to give up its nuclear materials, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said Friday that transferring Iran’s enriched uranium to the United States “has never been considered an option,” adding that “just as Iran’s soil is sacred, its enriched uranium holds the same significance.” Trump had claimed Thursday that Iran agreed to hand over “nuclear dust” that was buried by last year’s U.S. airstrikes.

Israel’s military said it carried out airstrikes and artillery fire in southern Lebanon on Saturday, targeting individuals crossing south of a newly established “Yellow Line,” despite Israel agreeing to a ceasefire. Israel was reported to have continued home demolitions in southern Lebanon, with at least 10 demolitions carried out overnight, including three blasts whose shockwaves were felt in Beirut. One UNIFIL peacekeeper was killed and three others wounded on Saturday, in an incident denounced by the UN. In a statement, UNIFIL attributed the attacks to “non-governmental entities.” France’s President Emmanuel Macron said that “all indications point to Hezbollah being responsible for this attack,” while Hezbollah denied responsibility for the incident.

CrimethInc., an extremely far-left decentralized Antifa anarchist collective, has launched its annual “Steal Something from Work Day” campaign with a new article openly encouraging workplace theft, and a special focus on nurses pocketing medical supplies to support “community defense” against federal immigration enforcement.

The April 15 post titled “Steal Something from Work Day 2026: Why Nurses Steal to Save Lives” frames employee theft as a “moderate option” in response to what the group calls intensified capitalist exploitation under the second Trump administration.

The article contrasts everyday workplace theft with more extreme tactics such as warehouse burnings and direct attacks on employers.

CrimethInc. has promoted the event for more than a decade, designating April 15, traditionally Tax Day, as a worldwide day of symbolic resistance.

The group maintains a dedicated site at stealfromwork.crimethinc.com and has made posters, pamphlets, and annual articles encouraging workers to “steal something from work” as a form of covert protest and wealth redistribution.

In the 2026 edition, the collective presents anonymous testimonies from two nurses who describe routinely taking medical supplies from hospitals.

One nurse in Minnesota explains using stolen items, including speculums, gauze, alcohol swabs, and other supplies, to build “medic packs” for protesters confronting ICE operations in the Twin Cities.

The nurse justifies the theft as “harm reduction” and “community defense,” referencing the deaths of anti-ICE agitators Renee Good and Alex Pretti as they attempted to impede immigration enforcement operations.

The nurse wrote:

“I liberate out of love, I expropriate in the name of harm reduction, I ‘steal’ in the name of all of the people killed by the state of so-called Minnesota. I take in hope that these medical items can help to save or ease the lives of community members, so we don’t have to experience once again the trauma we experienced when we lost Alex, Nicole, Amir Locke, Winston Boogie Smith, Philando Castile, George Floyd, and too many others. Death at the hands of the state is so pervasive and the price of medical supplies is just too damn high.”

The article divides nurse theft into four categories: medical supplies for community support, household items for personal or mutual-aid use, worker solidarity actions (such as sharing medications or covering shifts), and “stealing for patients” by providing extra or uncharged supplies.

It criticizes hospital executives for high salaries while nurses face low wages and workplace violence, citing examples such as saline bags costing pennies to produce but billed at hundreds of dollars.

CrimethInc. also endorses “time theft,” extending breaks or clocking out late, as long as it does not interfere with direct patient care, writing:

“When it comes to being good, don’t be afraid to be bad.”

The piece claims that “good people” can do harm through compliance with the system, while “bad” actions like theft can save lives by countering corporate greed. It repeatedly ties the campaign to broader anarchist organizing against ICE in Minnesota.

Workplace theft remains a criminal offense under state and federal law, regardless of political framing.

In September, President Donald Trump signed an executive order designating Antifa as a “domestic terrorist organization.”

The order described Antifa as “a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law” and stated that its pattern of political violence justified the designation.

Apex predator versus training army soldiers.

A training session in a mountainous area in Anchorage, Alaska, almost turned into a tragedy on Thursday.

Two US Army soldiers were injured after an attack by an aggressive brown bear.

The New York Post reported:

“The incident happened Thursday as the soldiers were participating in a ‘land navigation training event’ in Arctic Valley, part of the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s training area.

The soldiers were receiving medical care as of Friday, a military official told the Anchorage Daily News. Messages sent to base spokespersons were not immediately returned.”

The Army hasn’t released the soldiers’ conditions.

It’s understood that both soldiers used pepper spray on the bear.

“’The safety and well-being of our personnel is our highest priority’, Lt. Col. Jo Nederhoed, a spokesperson for the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division, said in an email to the Anchorage Daily News.

[…] The area near where the incident occurred has been closed to recreational activity by base officials, the department said.”

The Elmendorf-Richardson base is located in an area where up to 350 black bears and 75 brown bears roam freely.
