U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced Thursday that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is withholding a staggering $73,502,543 in federal highway funds from the state of New York.

Because far-left New York Democrats under Governor Kathy Hochul have flat-out refused to revoke thousands of illegally issued nondomiciled commercial learner’s permits (CLPs) and commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) handed out in violation of federal law.

Back in December 2025, The Gateway Pundit reported on the FMCSA audit that flagged New York as one of the worst offenders in the nation for rubber-stamping CDLs to non-domiciled drivers, many of them illegal aliens or migrants whose temporary work authorizations had lapsed.

“When more than half of the licenses reviewed were issued illegally, it isn’t just a mistake—it is a dereliction of duty by state leadership. Gov. Hochul must immediately revoke these illegally issued licenses. If they refuse to follow the law, we will withhold federal highway funding,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy at the time. “This administration will never stop fighting to keep you and your family safe on our roads.”

On Thursday, the Trump administration stripped the state of New York of more than $73 million in federal highway funding after it failed to revoke thousands of improperly issued commercial learner’s permits and CDLs.

According to DOT:

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy today announced that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is withholding over $73 million from the State of New York for failing to revoke illegally issued non-domiciled commercial learner’s permits (CLPs) and commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs).

“I promised the American people I would hold any state leader accountable for failing to keep them safe from unvetted, unqualified foreign drivers. I’m delivering on that promise today by refusing to fund Governor Hochul’s dangerous, anti-American policies. My message to New York’s far left leadership is clear: families must be prioritized on American roads,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy.

“FMCSA’s mission is safety. That means ensuring that every commercial driver on the road is properly vetted and qualified. New York’s continued refusal to fix these failures undermines that mission, and we will not allow federal dollars to support a system that falls short of the law,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek Barrs.

Reminder:

FMCSA’s audit of New York’s non-domiciled CDL issuance practices found numerous failures by the state of New York including:

  • Out of 200 sampled records, 107 were issued in violation of federal law—a failure rate of over 53%.
  • The DMV’s systems defaulted to issuing 8-year licenses to foreign drivers for non-REAL ID licenses, regardless of when their legal status expired.

Additional Information:

On December 12, FMCSA found that, following a nationwide audit of CDLs, the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) had been routinely issuing CDLs to foreign drivers illegally. The federal audit exposed a 53% failure rate in the records sampled, indicating a total collapse in the administration of New York’s non-domiciled CDL program.

On March 13, FMCSA issued a formal response refuting the state’s claims of compliance and reiterating that New York had failed to complete required corrective actions, including the immediate rescission of all noncompliant non-domicile CLPs and CDLs.

After the state’s continuous refusal to remove these dangerous drivers from the road, FMCSA has issued a final determination of substantial noncompliance and moved to withhold $73,502,543.This represents 4% of New York’s National Highway Performance Program and Surface Transportation Program Block Grant funds.

Meanwhile, California has already lost nearly $200 million for the same nonsense. Now, New York is joining the club.

Watch Greg Gutfeld’s EPIC Monologue About the Downfall of Eric Swalwell (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

Last night on his show, Greg Gutfeld devoted his opening monologue to the downfall of Eric Swalwell and it was a rant for the ages.

At one point, Greg even made a funny comparison between Swalwell and the serial killer Ted Bundy.

For the most part, Greg just delighted in the fact that Swalwell turned out to be a typical virtue signaling liberal guy who pretends to be an ally to women but is really a creep.

PJ Media has details:

Greg Gutfeld didn’t just roast Eric Swalwell on Wednesday night’s “Gutfeld” — he delivered a full autopsy. The Fox News host used Swalwell’s resignation from Congress, following multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and rape, as an opportunity to dissect not just the man but the entire Democratic machine that kept him alive for so long…

“He’s no evil mastermind, possessing neither the strategic qualities of a Pelosi or the sociopathic charm of Gavin, or even the well-manicured stubble of Rashida Tlaib.” At his core, Gutfeld said, Swalwell was just a buffoon — loud, arrogant, and, apparently, fragrant. “He was hiding in plain sight, ’cause if you ever met him at a party, you’d run screaming. He was loud, arrogant, even smelling, an assault on all our senses.”

Of course, being a buffoon didn’t disqualify him. It made him useful. Gutfeld described Swalwell as a “low-level henchman, told what to say, no matter how absurd, and he would.” The Democrats, Gutfeld argued, tolerate anyone willing to do the dirty work. “Everyone tolerates him for now, ’cause he’ll do anything for the syndicate.” The keyword there is now, because the moment a useful idiot stops being useful, the machine moves on…

“It’s like watching Ted Bundy in a commercial for an all-girls college,” he said. “He’s the classic male feminist who rattles off the popular positions while moving into position to grab a t*t. It’s a progressive pig pass.” Gutfeld named the pattern: Ted Kennedy, Harvey Weinstein, Swalwell. “It’s like a hall of fame, but the plaques are restraining orders.”

Watch the whole thing below:

You won’t hear anything like that on the other late night shows. They won’t even talk about it.

HERE WE GO: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Tells CBS News the Other Shoe is About to Drop on Swalwell Pal Senator Ruben Gallego (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

For the last few says, Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona has looked like a hot mess. He has been doing interviews in what almost appears to be a state of panic as he tries desperately to distance himself from his friend Eric Swalwell.

Now he has an even bigger reason to sweat.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida appeared on CBS News tonight and implied that another bomb is about to drop in the Swalwell scandal and it’s aimed directly at Gallego. She also said that she has already referred the matter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

From CBS News:

GOP Rep. Luna accuses Sen. Ruben Gallego of misconduct; Gallego calls allegations “conspiracy theories”

Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida accused Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego of misconduct on Thursday, which Gallego denied.

Luna told CBS News’ “The Takeout with Major Garrett” that the Arizona Democrat was the previously unnamed senator whom she said was facing “very disturbing” allegations in a cryptic social media post earlier this week…

CBS News has not verified the allegations.

Luna did not give much detail about the allegations, but she said some of them are “sexual in nature” and some of them involve alleged campaign finance violations. She also said Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s office confirmed to her that the matter is under investigation.

Luna referred to Gallego as a senator “that was very closely tied to Eric Swalwell,” a House Democrat who resigned from Congress this week following sexual misconduct allegations.

Luna said “there is a woman that allegedly is coming forward with attorneys [and] wants to go on-record about an incident that occurred between the two of them at the same time, and the event was sexual in nature, allegedly.”

See the video below:

Swalwell’s downfall came at record speed. Would anyone really be surprised if allegations against Gallego unfolded in similar fashion?

Stay tuned.

Three Quotes That Explain Why U.S.–Iran Talks Have Failed

Three Quotes That Explain Why U.S.–Iran Talks Have Failed

Negotiations have suffered from an acute lack of trust.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf - Asim Munir meeting in Tehran

The diplomatic process to end the war on Iran is not buried yet. President Donald Trump, in a post on Truth Social, said that “most points were agreed to” during U.S.–Iranian talks in Islamabad last weekend. “In many ways,” Trump added, “the points that were agreed to are better than us continuing our Military Operations to conclusion.” There is hope among the mediators that the gap could be narrowed and talks could resume before the ceasefire ends on April 21.

But the first round in Islamabad—the highest-level face-to-face talks between the U.S. and Iran since the Islamic Republic of Iran came into being in 1979—ended in disappointment. The two nations did not even agree to further talks as was hoped, though, at the time of writing, non-face-to-face talks are progressing and another round of talks is expected this week.

The three quotations below shed light on why a peace deal is proving elusive and what the U.S. can do to improve the chances for peace.

Quotation #1

Vice President J.D. Vance, during a press conference after the Islamabad talks, complained that the Iranians “have chosen not to accept our terms.” It was for this reason, he said, that the negotiations had failed. And it is this quote that best illustrates the central problem in U.S. negotiations with Iran.

The U.S. is repeating a failed strategy of demanding maximalist concessions from a country that has already declined to accept them and which does not see itself as having lost leverage attained in the war. From Iran’s perspective, this is dictation, not diplomacy, and it demonstrates a lack of respect.

“The simple fact is that we need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon,” Vance said. Had he stopped there, there could likely have been peace, since Iran has repeatedly said it does not seek nuclear weapons. Under the Iran nuclear deal, Tehran agreed to mechanisms by which the world community could verify it wasn’t trying to build the bomb. But Vance didn’t stop there.

The vice president added the need for Tehran to commit that “they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon.” That is a demand for zero enrichment of uranium and a shuttering of Iran’s civilian nuclear program. Iran is guaranteed a right to that program as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Agreement, and they will not surrender their sovereignty or their right to that program.

Quotation #2

Speaker of Iran’s Parliament and head of its negotiating team, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, recently tweeted, “The opposing side ultimately failed to gain the trust of the Iranian delegation in this round of negotiations.”

The American delegation went immediately to dictating terms and delivering ultimatums to Iran without first establishing trust, which is in short supply after Washington used negotiations to buy time before attacking Iran in February. Many Iranians think the negotiations that preceded the “12-day war” in June were also a ruse. “Due to the experiences of the two previous wars, we have no trust in the opposing side,” Ghalibaf said.

Compounding the problem, Trump has broken diplomatic agreements. It was the first Trump administration that unilaterally pulled out of the hard-won Iran nuclear deal, despite Iran’s verified compliance.

Quotation #3:

President Trump, shortly after the talks in Islamabad broke down, wrote on Truth Social, “Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz.”

The Trump administration is trying to coerce Iran into making concessions. But faced with maximalist demands, an absence of trust, and extreme threats and escalation, it is very difficult for Iran to engage in diplomacy without losing face. Trump’s threats are provocative because they could mean not just a return to war with Iran but a widening of that war.

This week Trump followed through on the Truth Social threat, imposing a blockade on Monday. The State Department has been subordinated to the Pentagon, and diplomacy has been replaced by threats and escalation. “We negotiate with bombs,” as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said.

Trump also threatened that “at an appropriate moment, we are fully ‘LOCKED AND LOADED,’ and our Military will finish up the little that is left of Iran!” He said that if the blockade is not enough to make Iran agree to U.S. terms, he could resume strikes on Iran.

Tehran has warned that if Iranian ports are threatened, “no port in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be safe.” China’s Defense Minister Dong Jun reminded the U.S., “We have trade and energy agreements with Iran. We will respect and honor them and expect others not to meddle in our affairs. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, and it is open for us.”

And since France has negotiated passage through the Strait with Iran, the threat could even lead to a showdown with a NATO ally. It’s of course unlikely that the U.S. and France would find themselves in military conflict, but Trump’s extreme rhetoric has inflamed tensions even with allies. The UK reiterated that it would not help implement the U.S. blockade, despite Trump’s claims to the contrary.

Before the bombing of Iran, mediators said that a peace agreement was “within our reach if we just allow diplomacy the space it needs to get there.” During the Islamabad talks, we heard that a memorandum of understanding was “just inches away.” But both times, the talks fell short because the U.S. insisted on dictating terms when no trust had been built and resorting to military threats and force while talks were ongoing.

Is It Time to Impeach Trump?

Is It Time to Impeach Trump?

The president’s disregard for the law is reckless and dangerous.

Rep. John Larson (D-CT) has introduced 13 articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, House Resolution 1155, to save the nation from a worse tyranny than provoked July 4, 1776.

Trump has said and done appalling things no other president has dared—not even close.

What other president has proclaimed in the manner of Napoleon’s self-coronation that the only limit on his infinite extraconstitutional powers is his “own morality,” and doubted his constitutional obligation to honor his oath of office “to preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution of the United States?

What other president has murdered nearly 200 alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific without even providing evidence of their crimes to the public?

What other president has threatened the death of the 6,000 year-old Iranian civilization, which has encompassed Cyrus the Great’s emancipation of Jews from the Babylonian captivity and Omar Khayyam’s timeless Rubaiyat?

What other president has initiated and collaborated in extraconstitutional, Hitlerlike criminal wars of aggression or genocide, for which Nazi leaders were sentenced to death by the Nuremberg tribunal?

What other president has suppressed freedom of speech and association on an industrial scale to retaliate against universities, lawyers, journalists, and lawfully present aliens for refusing to join Trump’s claque?

What other president has kidnapped a foreign head of state, killing scores in the process?

What other president has militarized domestic law enforcement by concocting national emergencies divorced from reality in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Minneapolis to deploy the National Guard?

What other president has illegally deported immigrants without due process to torture chambers in a foreign country?

What other president has commercialized his pardon power as if he were a Sotheby auctioneer selling a Hieronymus Bosch painting?

What other president has usurped the congressional power of the purse, including serial violations of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 and illegal invocation of the International Economic Emergency Powers Act, to impose exorbitant tariffs ultimately paid by American consumers?

What other president has by executive order attempted to jettison our cherished constitutional right to birthright citizenship?

What other president has flouted the orders of federal courts?

What other president has shrieked for the impeachment of judges who handcuff his lawlessness?

What other president has demanded the execution of six Members of Congress—all honored veterans—for communicating the truth that the Uniform Code of Military Justice requires disobedience to clearly illegal orders?

What other president has exploited the powers of office for billions of dollars in personal or family enrichment indistinguishable from bribery or extortion?

What other president has refused to faithfully execute laws passed by Congress which he dislikes?

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Trump’s impeachable offenses are a way of life at the White House.

The Constitution deputizes Members of Congress as first responders when tyranny or dictatorship are afoot in Article I, section 2, clause 5 in the guise of “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” The owlish statesman Benjamin Franklin at the Constitutional Convention explained that impeachment was an enlightened substitute for assassination. “With impeachment,” he elaborated, “the national executive would get a trial. If he was guilty, the punishment would be removal from office, not death. If he was innocent, then he would be exonerated, and his administration would no longer be tainted by scandal.”

Congress should not idle like Nero while the Constitution is in flames. Members should be inspired by the 56 signatories to the Declaration of Independence who signed their death warrants to secure unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness promoted by government by consent of the governed.

Trump must be impeached and removed from office immediately before it is too late. He is a dictator, pure and simple, who may well seek to disrupt the 2026 congressional elections by illegally invoking the Insurrection Act to dispatch the military to seize voting machines and occupy voting places.  The Trump-orchestrated January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol to prevent Vice President Mike Pence from counting state-certified electoral votes showed Trump will move heaven and earth to remain in power.

Our constitutional dispensation glorifying the rule of law and liberty may be destined to pass away.  But it is the duty of Congress to be the last, not the first to surrender.

So Much for the ‘Pivot to Asia’

So Much for the ‘Pivot to Asia’

The war with Iran constrains America’s options in East Asia.

The American industrial base, like the budget, is finite, and arms sent and used in one region cannot be used to project power in another. The recent decision by the Trump administration to move components of an air defense system from South Korea to the Middle East underscores this basic reality. It also demonstrates that the American adventure in Iran, far from hurting China, risks involving the U.S. in another Mideast quagmire that distracts from strategic competition in Asia.

The end of the Obama administration saw the beginning—or what many thought was the beginning—of the long awaited ‘pivot to Asia,’ and the incoming Trump administration recognized the threat from China in a way few others in the pre-2016 era of politics did. President Donald Trump staffed up with China hawks who recognized a need to seriously commit to East Asia and, to that end, to wind down the Middle Eastern wars—a thought process that led to the negotiated end to the Afghanistan war.

Leaving Afghanistan was a rare foreign policy goal that Presidents Trump and Biden shared, and the latter was the one who made the decision to implement the withdrawal after two decades of boots on the ground, in keeping with his long reported skepticism of the conflict. For a moment, it did seem that there was a bipartisan consensus, long overdue, that the future of American dominance must be in East Asia and that the Middle East could no longer be the main focus of foreign policy.

However, after years of renewed Mideast conflict following Hamas’s attack on Israel in October 2023, and especially after Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran in late February, that emerging consensus has been shattered before it could truly take hold. The “pivot to Asia” feels as far away as it was in the early 2000s. There is one crucial difference though—in that era, we had economic and political capital to waste, and waste it we very much did. Today, we face a challenge in China, which has rapidly risen to become America’s first peer competitor since the Cold War if not the end of World War II. The unipolar moment is truly over.

The moment requires Asian allies, and those allies in turn require a serious commitment, especially if they are to align with America to balance against China, the aspiring regional hegemon. But the actions of the U.S. government over the past month are unlikely to stiffen the spines of its partners in the region. Consider U.S. Naval power. The USS Tripoli amphibious assault ship, along with the 2000 Marines on board, was moved from Japan to the Strait of Hormuz, missile destroyers were sent from the country to the Arabian Sea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier was sent to the Gulf of Oman from the South China Sea. All of this is in addition to the aforementioned THAAD air defense system parts sent from South Korea, as well as the nearly $200 billion the Pentagon is likely to ask Congress to approve for the war efforts.

The THAAD system is one of the most egregious examples on the list. The Korean government, when it agreed to host the system, faced significant diplomatic and economic blowback. China’s then-ambassador warned that the move could destroy the ties between the two countries, and Beijing encouraged its citizens to boycott South Korean goods and services. The Chinese people honored the request sufficiently to have a negative impact on South Korean sales and tourism. Not even a decade later, the costs for Seoul of hosting the system seem to have been for naught, and the South Korean government justifiably opposed the U.S. decision to pull the THAAD components out of the country. Such episodes make Asian countries think twice about deepening their partnerships with the U.S.

As such skepticism rises, American options in Asia become more limited. And the longer that munitions are expended in the Middle East, the more limited the options to project power in East Asia become. Production of key defense systems is already constrained, and after manufacture, they can only be sent to one place. By deploying so much materiel to the Middle East, the U.S. demonstrates it doesn’t really prioritize Asia, and partners and adversaries alike wonder what weapons America would have available to fight a future war with China. To paraphrase former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, you go to war with the industrial base, the force posture, and the allies you have, not the ones you wish you had.

The industrial base we have can and will expand, but that won’t erase the need to make hard choices about foreign policy priorities. As of now, it seems American leaders prioritize litigating the challenges of the past few decades, rather than focusing on the challenges of tomorrow.

Mollie Hemingway Points Out That Gavin Newsom Has Two Advantages When He Runs for President – Neither of Them Good (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is definitely running for president in 2028, but he has a lot to answer for in terms of how he has governed and the shape his state is in right now.

Conservative writer and political analyst Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist appeared on the Ingraham Angle tonight and pointed out that even though Newsom’s record is a disaster, he has two distinct advantages.

First, the liberal media will cover for him. They will actively campaign for him by downplaying the negatives and hyping anything they see as a positive.

Second, he is a shameless liar. Hemingway said that he lies with the ease of a psychopath, and she’s right.

Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

LAURA INGRAHAM, FOX NEWS: And I think if California were run well, Mollie, Newsom should be a shoo-in. I mean, it’s a massive state with a giant economy, one of the largest economies in the world of any countries in the world. But of course, the record in California is a nightmare, he’s a nightmare, and so I don’t see how that’s going to fly at all.

MOLLIE HEMINGWAY, THE FEDERALIST: Well, Laura, the thing that he has to his advantage, that Gavin Newsom has to his advantage is even though he has a horrible track record of governing California, he still has the large institutional media willing to lie about that track record. And that is a serious advantage that most Democrats have. And Gavin Newsom, you know, I actually find Hunter Biden, for all of his problems with the law and corruption, to be kind of an interesting pundit about the Democrat Party.

And he does identify Gavin Newsom as what he thinks is their strongest candidate. Well, there is this thing that Gavin Newsom has where he stands apart even from most politicians who have trouble telling the truth. Gavin Newsom is almost a sociopath in how willing he is to lie from moment to moment about anything in order to gain advantage.

I think that’s actually a strength in politics. It’s not a good thing, nobody should emulate this, but it might help him in a crowded Democrat primary.

Here’s the video:

The good news is that new media and Twitter/X will play a role in countering the liberal media narrative in the next election, just as they did in the last.

Establishment media can’t get away with nearly as much as they used to.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: Liberal Outlet Politico Reportedly Had the Swalwell Story in 2019 But Dropped it When He Ended His Presidential Run

Man speaking at a campaign event with "Swalwell for Governor" banners in the background, emphasizing political engagement and candidacy.

One thing that everyone seems to agree on is that the Swalwell scandal was one of those ‘open secrets; in Washington that everyone knew about but no one mentioned in polite company. If you’re a Democrat, people will do that as long as you are helpful to the cause.

One of the things everyone is trying to figure out now is exactly who knew what and when. Democrat politicians are denying it across the board but now there is a media wrinkle in the story.

According to at least one Democrat operative, the liberal outlet Politico had the goods on Swalwell back in 2019 but they dropped the story when he ended his presidential campaign.

The entire text of the tweet below reads:

One note on the Swalwell stuff – (this isn’t confirmed) but a reporter with Politico was working on verifying the rumors on Swalwell when he was running for President. (he’s no longer with the publication) Two days before he was scheduled to sit down with this reporter Swalwell dropped out of the race. The energy disappeared to potentially take him out, the victims if they were even willing to go on the record never did. He slithered back to his safe house seat. December 2025 was too early to take down Swalwell we had to wait til his paperwork was ALL IN running for governor March 2026, so the head of the snake could be chopped off and he had no safe house seat to slither back to this time. Hate the strategy fine, but for folks unsure if this would work, we had to make sure he couldn’t get away like he did in 2020.

David Strom of Hot Air did some research on this person making the claims:

I had never heard of Trujillo, although, frankly, the number of political strategists’ names that just trip off the tongue of anybody outside of the machinery of politics is rather small. So small that people like James Carville, who hit his sell-by date sometime around 1990, are still going on the air. Throw in Axelrod, Roger Stone, and a few others, and you are pretty much done with the list.

But I checked him out, and at least CNN and a few other major media outlets think he is legit, having worked on Democratic campaigns in California for years and even consulting with presidential campaigns there. He also seems to be associated with a lobbying firm that features him as a talking head and Democratic influencer of note.

So the story is probably legitimate.

Would anyone really be surprised? This is what Democrats and the media do. They cover for their people until they become a political liability.

Donald Trump speaking at a press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, addressing the topic of taxation on tips with the presidential seal visible.

President Trump will deliver remarks on his ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy at a roundtable discussion in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday evening.

“While every Democrat voted to raise your taxes, President Trump cut them. Whether you are a server who depends on tips, a factory worker earning overtime, or a senior on a fixed income, the Working Families Tax Cuts are putting more money back in your pocket where it belongs,” the White House said in a statement.

WATCH:

Here’s how the Working Families Tax Cuts is delivering real results for the American people, per the White House:

Bigger Refunds: The average refund this filing season is over $3,400 – 11% higher than last year, and 19% higher than the average return over the prior 4 years.

Broad-Based Relief: This landmark legislation is putting more money back into Americans’ pockets and providing real relief. We’ve seen an overwhelming adoption of the President’s key tax priorities, with 53 million Americans (45% of all filers) benefiting from at least one of President Trump’s signature new tax cuts.

No Tax on Tips: More than six million Americans have claimed No Tax on Tips, with an average deduction of over $7,100, providing meaningful relief to service workers who rely on gratuities.
No Tax on Overtime: Over 25 million Americans have benefited from No Tax on Overtime, with an average deduction of over $3,100. Even legacy media outlets admit this tax provision is wildly
popular, including among Democrats.

No Tax on Social Security: A new deduction made possible by the Working Families Tax Cuts ensures an overwhelming majority of seniors will pay no tax on their Social Security income as a result of deductions exceeding taxable social security income. Over 30 million seniors have claimed this deduction, with an average deduction of over $7,500.

Simpler Filings: Over 105 million filers have claimed the permanently Doubled Standard Deduction, simplifying tax filing for millions across America.

Small Business Relief: Nearly 12 million small business owners are seeing an average tax reduction of nearly $7,000, while the permanent extension of the 20% Qualified Business Income deduction is delivering $4,600 in average relief to eight million entrepreneurs.

Investing in the Next Generation: Parents of nearly five million children have claimed Trump Accounts on their returns – tax advantaged savings accounts that give the next generation a jumpstart on saving.

Enhanced Child Tax Credit: Over 34 million families have claimed the enhanced Child Tax Credit, which is permanently doubled and expanded by the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Made-in-America Tax Breaks: More than one million Americans have claimed No Tax on Car Loan Interest, with an average deduction of over $1,800. This deduction is helping families afford reliable transportation while boosting U.S. auto jobs.

Ensuring Tax Dollars Benefit Americans, Not Illegals: The Working Families Tax Cuts Act ensures American taxpayers are no longer funding benefits for illegals.

Fueling Business Investment: The restoration of immediate deductibility for research and development expenses — applied retroactively — is freeing up $100 billion in prior-year deductions for tens of thousands of businesses, while full expensing allows companies to write off investments immediately, improving cash flow and fueling expansion.

Supporting Family Farms: By raising the death tax exemption—increasing the amount family farms can inherit without paying taxes—two million family farms are being protected from excessive taxation.

Incentivizing Adoption: The Working Families Tax Cuts Act significantly boosted tax incentives for families adopting from foster care, making up to $5,000 of the Adoption Tax Credit refundable.

Improved Housing Affordability: The expanded low-income housing tax credit is incentivizing the construction of affordable homes for American families.
