The once great magazine ‘Newsweek’ recently published a story about a poll that clearly made it sound like a majority of Americans want Trump to be impeached again, yet if you actually read the story, it is almost immediately clear that the story and the poll are completely bogus.
The article even admits that one of the two groups behind the poll is called ‘Impeach Trump Again.’
They sound objective, don’t they? You couldn’t make this up.
Look at Newsweek’s tweet about the story. This is so misleading.
Over half of Americans want Congress to impeach Trump now, according to a new poll. One in seven Republicans backs it. https://t.co/PbDK7vgXut
Fifty-two percent of registered voters back impeachment compared to 40 percent opposed, according to the survey of 790 voters commissioned by two groups opposing his Iran war and other policies. The finding includes one in seven Republicans supporting removal proceedings.
The survey’s two sponsors were Impeach Trump. Again. and Free Speech For People, two progressive advocacy groups.
What an absolute joke.
Newsweek got called out on Twitter/X.
We surveyed 790 Democrats from a Democratic pollster firm and blah blah blah. Dumbasses.
This is a push poll-style survey commissioned and funded by explicitly anti-Trump progressive organizations actively campaigning for impeachment. They polled 800 people. Mostly those affiliated with their cause.
According to a bullshit poll. I don’t even have to ask Grok to know it’s a left wing organization, and probably has a huge margin of error with a small sample size

US District Judge Paul Friedman, a Clinton appointee on Thursday once again sided with The New York Times and ordered the Pentagon to restore press access.
Last month Judge Friedman ruled that the Pentagon’s new press policy restricting press credential of reporters is unconstitutional.
In October, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new security rule.
“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded that reporters agree by 5 p.m. Tuesday to a new policy, under which they would need to pledge to not obtain or use any unauthorized material, even if the information is unclassified — or hand over their press badges in the next 24 hours,” The Hill previously reported.
By that afternoon, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges.

The Pentagon Press Association previously released a statement blasting Hegseth.
“Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution,” the PPA said.
“The Pentagon Press Association’s members are still committed to reporting on the US military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening US commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all,” the statement said.
The Pentagon press pool now includes conservative outlets, including The Gateway Pundit.
The New York Times filed a lawsuit to stop the Pentagon from enforcing its new policy.
Judge Friedman blocked the Pentagon from enforcing its new policy and said it violated the First Amendment.
“The Court recognizes that national security must be protected, the security of our troops must be protected, and war plans must be protected. But especially in light of the country’s recent incursion into Venezuela and its ongoing war with Iran, it is more important than ever that the public have access to information from a variety of perspectives about what its government is doing—so that the public can support government policies, if it wants to support them; protest, if it wants to protest; and decide based on full, complete, and open information who they are going to vote for in the next election,” the judge wrote in a 40-page opinion last month.
The Pentagon left in place some of the restrictions after Friedman’s March order.
On Thursday, Judge Friedman ordered the Pentagon to lift the restrictions and fully restore press access.
“The Court cannot conclude this Opinion without noting once again what this case is really about: the attempt by the Secretary of Defense to dictate the information received by the American people, to control the message so that the public hears and sees only what the Secretary and the Trump Administration want them to hear and see,” Friedman wrote.
The world is on fire, but the US-Russia talks don’t stop.
All eyes are glued to the Middle East, but in the meantime, the normalization of diplomatic and economic ties between the US and Russia continues unabated.
Early Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had already alluded to this fact.

Later in the day, it arose that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy Kirill Dmitriev is reportedly in the US right now, and is meeting members of President Donald J. Trump’s administration.
Discussions are being held on a peace deal for Ukraine and on economic cooperation.

“The visit comes before the U.S. decision on whether to extend sanctions relief on Russian oil, which expires on April 11 and could also be on the agenda.
The United States issued a 30-day waiver for countries to buy sanctioned Russian oil and petroleum products currently stranded at sea, in what Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described as a step to stabilize global energy markets roiled by Iran war.”

An adult illegal alien who was charged for groping minor teen girls at a high school in Virginia was found guilty on nine assault charges on Thursday.
As reported last month, parents were outraged after an 18-year-old illegal alien groped over a dozen girls “in between their legs” at a high school in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The alien, identified as Israel Flores Ortiz, is turning 19 soon and is only in the 11th grade.
Why have authorities allowed a 19-year-old man – who is in this country illegally – to sexually assault minor teen girls in the hallways at school for several months??
“There’s a group of about 12 individuals that have reported this assault,” one mother told 7News.
“It was all perpetrated by a single individual who is a stranger to the girls. He just sneakily walked up behind them and put his hand in between their legs,” she said.
“It was not just a butt smack or a butt grab. It was a groping of a private area. It had been occurring for several months,” she added.
ICE told WJLA reporter Nick Minock that Israel Flores Ortiz illegally entered the US in 2024 on Joe Biden’s open border invitation.
Flores Ortiz was charged with nine counts of assault and battery – a misdemeanor!
Parents are outraged that Flores Ortiz was not charged with sexual assault.

Democrat officials in California are suddenly interested in prosecuting hospice fraudsters after the Justice Department created a division dedicated to arresting fraudsters.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta (D) on Thursday announced his office charged 21 suspects in a $267 million hospice fraud ring in Southern California.
Five of the 21 suspects have been arrested so far.
“California Attorney General Rob Bonta, together with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), today announced charges filed against 21 suspects and the dismantling of a major hospice fraud scheme that defrauded California of $267 million,” Bonta’s office said.
“Operation Skip Trace resulted in the arrest of five people after ten different locations were searched in Southern California. In addition, two handguns and over $757,000 in cash were seized,” Bonta’s office announced.
“Investigators found that those involved purchased personal identifying information for people living outside of California on the dark web, then enrolled them in Covered California by posing as California residents,” Fox News reported.
“Straw owners” then bought a number of hospice companies and began billing Medi-Cal for services never provided to those stolen identities. The suspects used fake records, nonexistent offices, and fraudulent diagnoses to justify these claims, Bonta said.” – the outlet said.
“This isn’t a political game for us. This is about protecting taxpayer dollars, protecting the programs that sick and vulnerable Californians rely on, and protecting our state,” said Attorney General Rob Bonta.
“Over the life of this fraud scheme, not a single legitimate hospice service was ever provided yet millions were billed in a brazen, calculated scheme that exploited the Medi-Cal system. This wasn’t a mistake or a loophole; it was deliberate fraud. This kind of abuse undermines trust, drains critical resources, and threatens care for those who truly depend on it. This is a perfect example that we have taken a firm stand to investigate, prosecute, and shut down hospice fraud wherever it exists,” he said.

“For years, California has led the charge to protect public programs from fraud and abuse,” said Governor Gavin Newsom.
“We hold accountable to the fullest extent of the law anyone who tries to rip off taxpayers and take advantage of public programs, particularly those as sensitive as hospice care. I thank the Department of Health Care Services and the California DOJ’s Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse for their swift work to bring these charges forward…” Newsom added.

Screenshot of George Conway crying during a recent podcast interview.
The deranged former husband of former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway has admitted he blew $1 million on defeating President Trump, and their kids lost some of their inheritance because of his mistake.
George Conway, who was once a respected lawyer in conservative circles, teared up as he recounted how he decided to give the legal maximum ($929,000) to the Biden Victory Fund.
He explained:
I was asked by a friend of mine who raises money for Democrats to speak at a big Democratic fundraiser for what was then the Biden Victory Fund.
I remember I was actually driving out to my friend John Gardner’s house out in Maryland, and I was thinking about, well, how much money should I give to the Biden campaign for this thing where I’m going to be the headline spokesperson and asking other people to give, you know, and I thought I’d give, you know, a lot of money, but a reasonable amount of money. And then I started thinking about it.
It’s like, you know, I mean, this is supposed to, it’s money that my kids would otherwise inherit. And I started thinking about that. So what am I going to give? And then I just thought about it. Well, what do I want my kids to inherit?
And I literally was in tears. I pulled over to the side of the road and I was in tears thinking about this. And I was like, I want my kids, it makes me miss the idea even today. I want my kids to inherit a democracy.
It’s more important than money and that society will fuck out. I’m going to give the legal maximum, which was like $929,600. And, you know, I just, it just, it’s just more important. It’s just more important. And that’s why I did that.
That’s why, you know, I’m 62 years old. I should be out in Park City skiing or something like that. I should be really, really retired, but I could never live myself if I didn’t do everything I could to help get rid of this.
Watch the clip below:
George Conway fights back tears as he recalls how he decided to give nearly $1 million to Biden’s Victory Fund in 2024 — which would have otherwise gone to his children.
He says he started crying and had to pull his car over.
Now a committed Democrat, Conway recently announced he would be running for the House of Representatives in New York with a view to replacing retiring Congressman Jerry Nadler.
He also does a regular podcast for The Bulwark, where he rants about the supposed crimes committed by the Trump administration.
A true liberal socialist, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani has decided to eliminate racial wealth disparity by levying taxes by race.
The mayor of America’s largest city, socialist Zohran Mamdani, has a plan to tax white people more. This appears to be an egregious violation of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which calls for all races to have equal protection under the law.
On April 7, 2026, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani released the Preliminary Citywide Racial Equity Plan, described as the first government-wide racial equity framework in the city’s history, along with a “True Cost of Living” measure. The plan spans 45 agencies and includes more than 200 agency-level goals, over 800 strategies, and roughly 600 performance indicators.
The framework is inseparable from a property tax proposal Mamdani advanced during his mayoral campaign, in which he called for shifting tax burdens from outer-borough homeowners to “more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods,” arguing the current system undertaxes high-value real estate.
The proposed estate tax threshold of $750,000, which would impose a 50 percent state estate tax on homes above that value, potentially raising the combined federal and state rate to 70 percent, closely matches the median home value for white homeowners in New York City, as documented in the city comptroller’s own racial wealth gap report.
The threshold is not limited to luxury properties. Modest homes in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and the Bronx can exceed $750,000, meaning ordinary families could face tax bills ranging from a few thousand to over $40,000 upon transferring property to the next generation.
Because a home is typically a family’s primary asset, economists warn that estate taxes at these rates can force asset liquidation, compelling families to sell property to cover the liability. The measure follows a pattern in which taxes initially targeting the wealthy gradually expand to reach middle- and working-class households as thresholds fail to keep pace with rising home values.
When challenged on injecting race into the proposal, Mamdani retreated, saying, “It’s not driven by race. It’s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being undertaxed versus overtaxed.” He subsequently moved the proposal to a less prominent place on his campaign website.
The proposal conflicts with constitutional precedent. Passed by Congress in 1866 and ratified in 1868, the 14th Amendment extended liberties and rights to formerly enslaved people, with its Equal Protection Clause intended to stop state governments from discriminating against Black Americans.
The amendment prohibits race-conscious government action unless it survives strict scrutiny, requiring a compelling interest and narrow tailoring. Mamdani now invokes that same framework to justify race-conscious tax policy targeting white homeowners, which is precisely the inversion the courts have repeatedly rejected.
The most directly applicable precedent is City of Richmond v. J.A. Croson Co., 488 U.S. 469 (1989), in which the Supreme Court struck down Richmond, Virginia’s minority set-aside program giving preference to minority businesses in municipal contracting. The Court held that without a showing that a race-based initiative was created to remedy specific past discrimination and serves a compelling governmental interest, it cannot withstand strict scrutiny, and that the city had failed to consider race-neutral alternatives.
The parallel to Mamdani’s plan is direct: a city government using racial composition as the basis for allocating financial burdens, justified by generalized claims of historical inequity, is precisely what Croson rejected. In Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard (2023), the Supreme Court reaffirmed that principle, with Chief Justice Roberts writing that “eliminating racial discrimination means eliminating all of it.”
Mamdani’s defense is that he is correcting an existing racially discriminatory assessment system and that race-neutral fixes have failed. That underlying disparity is real and predates him. The question is whether there must be a remedy at all.
The wealth gap is well-documented, and white people in New York are, on average, richer than black people. They also have higher levels of education, better jobs, and are more likely to live in two-parent households. Mathematically, it is logical for them to be richer on average. Being richer than minorities in New York does not represent a crime or an injustice.
There is no evidence that the government needs to “correct” this disparity. There is no law stating that people with more education and higher incomes are not allowed to be richer.
Additionally, a disproportionate percentage of minorities receive public benefits. People with professional jobs earn more than those on benefits. One could argue that benefits are given, while higher salaries are earned through education and hard work rather than granted by the generosity of the state.
The current Supreme Court’s direction suggests that Mamdani’s plan will not survive a constitutional challenge, which is why DOJ Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon responded to the equity plan on X: “Sounds fishy/illegal. Will review!”
On January 21, 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order titled “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity.” In May 2025, the DOJ announced its Civil Rights Fraud Initiative to investigate federal fund recipients that knowingly violate civil rights laws, opening civil investigations into multiple companies’ DEI programs using the False Claims Act.
On March 26, 2026, Trump signed a further executive order requiring federal agencies to prohibit racially discriminatory DEI practices by all contractors and subcontractors. Mamdani is moving in the opposite direction in a city that receives substantial federal funding, creating direct exposure to federal enforcement action.
The fiscal context compounds the problem. The city faces a budget shortfall of $5.4 to $7.1 billion over the current and next fiscal year, with City Comptroller Mark Levine warning that operating expenses could exceed revenues by between $4.5 and $6.3 billion.
Against that backdrop, the racial equity offices are funded at $10.2 million annually, a 42% budget increase, with no published cost-benefit analysis justifying that expansion. The plan’s 800 strategies and 600 performance indicators spread across 45 agencies represent an administrative apparatus whose price tag extends well beyond the equity offices themselves.
Maybe ‘U-Turn’ Starmer could drill some North Sea oil wells and calm down.
Even as he follows suicidal energy policies by shunning North Sea oil and sanctioning cheap Russian gas, today (9) British Prime Minister Keir Starmer decided to shift the blame for his energy fiasco to others.
Starmer snapped at President Donald J. Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin for the surging energy bills hitting London.
The struggling Premier said he was ‘fed up’ with conflicts affecting oil prices.
NEW: Keir Starmer says he is “fed up” with Donald Trump and Putin

“’I’m fed up with the fact that families across the country see their bills go up and down on energy businesses bills go up and down on energy because of the actions of Putin or Trump across the world’, Starmer told ITV News on Thursday.
The British prime minister has repeatedly criticized Trump, blaming him for global turmoil driven by the Iran war hammering households with sky-high energy costs — even as his own response remains limited.”
In the meantime, yet another scandal has broken, as it arises that both Starmer and his Defense Secretary John Healy were OUT ON A HOLIDAY as the situation in Iran escalated.

Some elected Republicans have perfected the art of gaslighting their voters while stabbing them in their backs.
For instance, Rep. María Elvira Salazar, a Republican from Florida, insisted on Thursday against all evidence that her proposed “DIGNIDAD Act” did not mean amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Meanwhile, conservatives on X, who cannot agree on much lately, united in their disdain for Salazar’s amnesty bill.
In July 2025, Salazar tried in vain to guilt President Donald Trump into supporting her proposal.
Conservatives opposed her then, and they oppose her now. But that did not stop the lawmaker from pushing amnesty as “dignity.”
“There’s a fundamental misconception about what ‘amnesty’ really means,” Salazar wrote Thursday. “Amnesty is looking the other way: no consequences, no accountability, just more chaos. That’s the system we’ve had for decades. The Dignity Act ends it with enforcement, accountability, real penalties, and ZERO tolerance for criminals. That’s not amnesty. That’s law and order!”

Data analyst Jennica Pounds, who goes by “DataRepublican” on X, expressed disbelief that Salazar tried to justify her amnesty nonsense.

Meanwhile, “MOM of DataRepublican” entered the conversation and predicted a fresh wave of illegal immigration should the bill pass.
Then, Salazar tried to counter that assertion by posting more misleading claims.
No it won’t. It actually locks in permanent enforcement measures (border security, mandatory E-verify, and ends catch and release for asylum seekers).
None of these are currently codified in law, and until they are, they can keep being changed by the Executive. And therefore… https://t.co/5nuGrqqgOY

Happily, Salazar received no discernible support on X.
Many users simply pointed to the bill’s text or to Salazar’s own words and called her out on her gaslighting.
@data_republican is right, and there is no way you’re going to be able to frame this to make it acceptable to the American people who actually understand what your bill says. pic.twitter.com/UGAYbpmx8k
In truth, nearly all Democrats and some Republicans, particularly their donors, do regard illegal aliens as cheap labor.
Whether Salazar does too, we cannot say. But we can say that American patriots should regard her amnesty bill — not to mention her lame efforts to justify it — as beneath contempt.
Is this the “spark of divinity” that Nancy Pelosi was talking about?
The Justice Department, at the request of Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, is seeking the death penalty for three MS-13 gang members charged with murdering an informant.
Dennis Anaya Urias, 27, Grevil Zelaya Santiago, 26, and Roberto Carlos Aguilar, 31, all of South Los Angeles, were charged with conspiracy to retaliate against a witness and murder in aid of racketeering.
The informant was murdered in a South Los Angeles grocery store last year.
Two of the MS-13 gang members are illegal aliens and one has a green card.
“Thugs and terrorists will find no shelter under this administration. If you take someone’s life, then you will forfeit your own,” First Assistant US Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli said.
Statement from Bill Essayli:
Dennis Anaya Urias, 27, Grevil Zelaya Santiago, 26, and Roberto Carlos Aguilar, 31, all of South Los Angeles, are charged with one count of murder in aid of racketeering and two counts of conspiracy to retaliate against a witness or informant.
These defendants have been in federal custody since May 2025 and are scheduled to go to trial on July 21.
Urias and Aguilar are Salvadoran nationals. Urias has a green card. Aguilar is an illegal alien. Santiago is an illegal alien from Honduras.
According to court documents, Urias and Santiago fatally shot the victim at a grocery store in South L.A. on February 18, 2025.
The victim’s status as a government cooperator was well known by MS-13 and made the victim subject to a “green light” order that made him a target for murder by MS-13 members.
Approximately one hour before the victim’s death, he had what appeared to be a chance encounter with Aguilar inside the grocery store. Following that encounter, Aguilar set in motion a series of events that led to Urias and Santiago murdering the victim.
As directed by @DAGToddBlanche, my office will seek the death penalty for the following three MS-13 members charged with murdering a law enforcement cooperator.
