The US and Iran have reportedly agreed to halt attacks and hold talks in Qatar’s capital of Doha this week after exchanging fire through the weekend and threatening the fragile 60-day memorandum of understanding.
A senior US official told Axios on Sunday, “We decided to stop all the kinetic activity.” Talks are scheduled for Tuesday to address disagreements over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran struck vessels in the Strait on Friday and Saturday after disagreement over Iran charging “transit fees” to transit the waters.
Initially, Tuesday’s talks were scheduled to be held in Switzerland to discuss Iran’s nuclear program.
Vice President JD Vance participated in the first round of talks in Switzerland last week, where he announced that “good progress” was made with the Iranians and that Iran agreed to allow nuclear inspectors into the country to ensure they are not rebuilding the nuclear program. However, Iran later denied agreeing to this term.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, US Central Command announced on Saturday that additional strikes were launched against “multiple targets in Iran” following a Saturday attack on a commercial vessel. This followed strikes on Friday after Iran hit another ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
“U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter jets conducted strikes tonight on 10 Iranian military targets at multiple locations in and near the Strait of Hormuz for Iran’s drone attack on M/T Kiku,“ CENTCOM said in a Saturday statement, publishing footage of several strikes.

British educator, author, and prominent advocate for education reform, Katharine Birbalsingh, delivered a recent speech for The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship, and her frank assessment of modern education has taken the internet by storm.
In her address at the ARC Conference, Birbalsingh, Britain’s “strictest headmistress,” argued that the West is experiencing a profound civilizational decline driven by the erosion of traditional moral values in the younger generation.
Citing incidents like the death of Henry Novak and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, she blamed “white guilt” and an oppressor-versus-oppressed worldview taught in schools and reinforced online.
Birbalsingh criticized how education now frames history primarily through lenses of slavery, colonialism, and victimhood, sidelining stories of duty, gratitude, and Western achievement. She holds older generations (Boomers, Gen X, older Millennials) responsible for failing to instill small-c conservative values of personal responsibility, hard work, and moral clarity, and warns that this has left young people paralyzed by fear of being labeled racist.
She urges parents and educators to actively transmit traditional values to “inoculate” children against victimhood culture and save the West.

Hi everyone. Well, I am Britain’s strictest headmistress, so I need us sitting up straight and all eyes on me.
A few weeks ago, we all saw the same footage: a young man called Henry Novak, barely out of childhood, handcuffed on the ground, begging the police for help. And what followed was the confusion of our commentators as they struggled to explain how our young police officers, sworn to protect the public, could behave in such a way. No one seemed to have a convincing answer. But when you spend a lifetime in schools, it’s pretty clear what’s going on.
Those young police officers are not a special case. They’re collateral damage. And the pattern runs far further afield than policing.
Last September, Charlie Kirk was shot, and within hours, young people were celebrating all over the internet, despite the fact that his two little children would have to grow up without their father. Many of us looked on in disbelief. What has happened to the moral core of our young people?
Something has changed profoundly in how our young people see the world. Those police officers were not evil. They were not incompetent. They were terrified, terrified of being seen as racist. Charlie Kirk held views young people find objectionable, and so his death was cause for celebration.
Henry Novak’s attacker was a brown man, so the police’s deepest instinct to protect the victim was overridden by their most powerful fear: being accused of racism.
The police are not special. They’re what some of our young people have become, so consumed by white guilt that they will do crazy, irrational, and inhumane things rather than risk being seen as racist. Unless we try to explain this change in our moral core, and the moral core of our young people, and why we are witnessing this culture change across many Western countries, we cannot pretend to care about the West. Our profound lack of interest in the moral values surrounding our children has caused our civilizational collapse.
The reason the younger generation see things as they do is because they have been taught to view people in two camps: those who are oppressed and those who are oppressors. And in their eyes, Charlie Kirk was an oppressor. So his death did not warrant grief. The man who killed Henry Novak belonged to the oppressed class, so the police’s job was to protect him, not the dying man on the ground.
This is not cruelty or incompetence. This is white guilt. And we are the ones who have taught this to our children. We, the boomers, the Gen-Xers, the older millennials, we are responsible for not teaching our children the difference between right and wrong.
We— we are the ones who immersed our children in a culture of victimhood which is at odds with the culture of personal responsibility we all grew up in. A culture we’ve very stupidly taken for granted. As little as 40 or 50 years ago, the bedrock of traditional small-c conservative values that built the West were commonplace in our schools and in our general culture.
One of my teachers at my school always tells me about his grandfather, a man who, no matter how ill he was, never missed a single day at work, yet always had time to teach his grandson how to be a better version of himself. No quiet quitting for him. When he retired after 50 years—50 years!—with the same company, he was so proud of his company letter thanking him for his service, that he gave it to his grandson. Once upon a time, we all knew that traditional values gave us a chance at a meaningful life. All the grandmothers knew it, all the pastors knew it, even the teachers knew it.
So why don’t our young people know it now? We boomers, Gen Xers, and older millennials think school is just about teaching algebra. Your kid’s science teacher not so good? Ah, no big deal, just get the kid a tutor. And sure, they’re on social media, but we had TV, and we assume they’re the same.
Parents are busy working, and well, your own parents didn’t war game your upbringing. It just sort of happened somehow. You grew up without too much effort, and you turned out just fine. You know the difference between right and wrong. So why would you war game the upbringing of your own children?
Because raising a kid in the 21st century is a different order of magnitude of task. We have taken for granted the values from our elders, and we have missed the fact that we are the elders now. The only reason the Sex and the City liberalism of the 1990s was fine was because we were anchored by the small-c conservatism of our parents and our grandparents. Do you ever wonder why Gen Z behaves so differently in the workplace? Not all of them, sure, but we all know they tend to be more performative than older generations, tend to value feelings more, and don’t really embody the small-c conservative values of duty to others, or real sacrifice instead of the performative kind.
Instead, young people swim in a culture of instant gratification and “live your best life,” “you do you,” “be who you want to be,” and if you think Gen Z is bad, just you wait till you see Gen Alpha. The culture shift comes from what children learn at school and online. Ask any young person what history they learned at school, and they’ll tell you, “Hitler.” Ask them what else? “Slavery.” Ask them what else? “American civil rights.” In fact, what little they know of history will be all about black and brown people fighting for equality against the white man.
Women fighting men for the vote. Gay and trans people fighting for various rights. Our young people have been taught that history is simply one long story about various groups struggling under the oppressive dead white man. Out with Dickens, Shakespeare, Kipling, and Wordsworth. We must decolonize.
History is taught through an oppressor lens. The triangular slave trade, white men held the power. What about Britain ending the slave trade? More than a quick mention, if at all? Mm, no.
What of the Arab slave trade that lasted 3 times as long as the triangular slave trade? Mm, no. Okay, so GCSE history in Britain is often taught as migration through time, so the idea that Britain has always been a land of immigrants is embedded in our children’s heads. Most schools would prefer to concentrate learning about the tiny number of black people who existed in Tudor England over a thorough analysis of England’s break from Rome. Medieval history becomes her story and is told through the eyes of Eleanor of Aquitaine, because after all, she was a woman.
Not to mention weeks on King Mansa Musa of Mali, because he was a Black Muslim. His bearing on British institutions, laws, and faith is nonexistent. And the fact that he is said to have been the richest man in history, thanks in part to his massive slave-owning society is a detail somehow that teachers rarely ever teach. But it isn’t just our schools, it’s our general culture too. Take your kids to a museum or an art gallery in any Western country and you’ll find the same narrative.
As an example, when learning about aviation in London’s Science Museum, and the extraordinary feat that is man making massive machines move in the sky, a write-up on the wall explains that women and Black people were historically barred from aviation schools and the military. Similarly, James Watt, the man who invented the steam engine and is considered the founder of the Industrial Revolution, has a write-up on the wall explaining that his early career involved slave trafficking, with a bonus analysis of the whole of Britain’s complicity in the slave trade. They flatten the entire human story and all of its complexities into the narrative of oppressor and oppressed, leaving young people unable to see the world in any other terms.
How can children feel that they belong to their country when they are immersed in an educational culture that teaches that their country is merely an evil oppressor? Children are the future, and yet we are teaching them to have contempt for their elders, whose oppressive world needs overthrowing by a new world of young, arrogant, anti-racist, who know better than we do. We older Westerners are cutting off the branches upon which we sit because of the guilt some of us feel for being white and privileged. We look at Mandami, the mayor of New York, and Zac Polanski, the very popular leader of the Green Party amongst the under-30s in the UK, and we wonder what on earth is going on. Why are our young people voting for and cheerleading these Marxist and really quite extreme politicians?
Few of us understand how much the online world reinforces this culture of the oppressor versus the oppressed. Victimhood saturates every video, whether it’s about a foreign war, transphobia, or racism, and white guilt lingers everywhere. It should not come as a surprise that our young people’s moral core does not recognize complexity or nuance. They have been formed by school and the online world to make one judgment only: oppressor or oppressed, good or bad. And they are desperate not to be seen as racist.
We see this most starkly with our young police officers. Well, I’m here to tell you that’s on us. We don’t care about childhood, and then we wonder why our children have imbibed the wrong values. At my school, Michaela, developing traditional moral character and defending our inherited tradition is at the center of what we do. Now being a teacher, I’ve got some homework for you.
I want you to live your lives by the small c conservative values that were instinctive to our grandparents. Be brave and put away your lifestyles of anything goes. Saving the West ain’t easy, you know. And then you need to narrate those traditional values openly with your children, your grandchildren, your nephews, your nieces, as if we’re going to war. We need— We need to inoculate our children against the seductive ideas of victimhood and hold them to account so that they can see that they are morally responsible beings with agency, whatever their race, whatever their religion.
So yes, Henry Novak’s police officers were trained with the wrong priorities, but that training was only fuel on a fire that has been burning their whole entire lives. A young man lay dying on the ground, and their most powerful instinct was not to help him, but to manage their own terror of being seen as racist. This is not a policing failure. This is a civilizational failure, and it belongs to us because of what we have done and are doing to our children.

White people are terrified of being seen as racist.
If white guilt permeates the online world and our schools, then our adults will feel guilty too.
Pete Buttigieg’s harrowing swatting story from last week is now coming under scrutiny, suggesting he may not be telling the entire truth.
As TGP’s Jordan Conradson reported, Buttigieg claims he was swatted this week by Child Protective Service agents and separated from his four-year-old twins.
Buttigieg ran to Substack to write a column about the incident.
Describing himself as “bewildered and troubled,” Buttigieg said that “the CPS worker told me something that made my stomach turn: I was not to be alone around the children, at least until the interview took place the next day.”
After a “sleepless night,” he says, the officers told him that an anonymous tipster told police that he had spoken to a woman. She said that Buttigieg had “committed unspeakable violent crimes, and the caller believed my children were still at risk.”
“After the officer spoke, the CPS worker likewise indicated she had not found anything to substantiate the allegation, though her process would take a bit longer to be formally completed. I no longer needed to avoid being around my children unsupervised. Chasten was invited to come back downstairs and hear the same information that had just been shared with me. Then, per standard procedure, she verified that there was adequate food in our kitchen and asked to take a look at the kids’ bedroom,” Buttigieg wrote.
But questions are emerging that suggest Buttigieg might be embellishing at least part of his story, particularly the part about CPS separating him from his children.
One X user who said he has dealt with cases like Buttigieg’s said the former transportation secretary was lying. He stated that CPS does NOT separate someone from children over unsubstantiated accusations.
To him, this suggested something more sinister was at play.

Andrew Kloster, a former Trump Administration lawyer, alleged that Buttigieg had acted “weird” around his kids when he and Chasten were his next-door neighbors. He also speculated that Buttigieg planted the story to gin up sympathy.

A poster who said she had been in and out of the foster care system noted how unusual the alleged actions from CPS were based on the law, again calling Buttigieg’s claims into question.
Point: He claims CPS made it so he couldn’t see his kids until they were questioned the next day based on a single report. BULLSHIT.
I was in and out of that system and I’ve seen so many direct experiences with them it’s insane. That is considered extreme action, rarely happens, and usually a court order. Yeah I’m not buying your dramatic story or your need to be the victim so you have a good story when you run for President again.
He needs attention and he’s using his kids to do it.

While these questions being raised may eventually turn out to be nothing, we all know the media would not simply take a Republican politician’s word if they claimed to have been swatted. Buttigieg producing some actual proof would help clear things up.
Argentine soccer player Lucas Trejo received devastating news following the twin earthquakes in Venezuela. After a 74-hour search, his wife Yanina Maranella and their two children, Aarón and Ainhoa, were found dead.
AP reported, “The U.S. Geological Survey said the first earthquake had a magnitude of 7.1 and its epicenter was west of the community of Morón,, located along the country’s Caribbean coast, about 168 kilometers (104 miles) west of Caracas. The quake had a depth of 13 kilometers (8 miles),” AP reported.
“Minutes later, the USGS reported an even larger 7.5-magnitude earthquake. The second quake had a depth of 10 kilometers and its epicenter was 16 kilometers (10 miles) southwest of Morón.”
Searching for survivors has been grueling.
In the days following the disaster, The Gateway Pundit spoke exclusively to several survivors who shared their experiences during and after the disaster.
The New York Post reported on the devastating news about the Trejo family that was shared on Instagram by family friend Edson Tortolero.
Tortolero, a soccer player himself, wrote on Instagram (originally in Spanish): “We inform all the people of Venezuela and Argentina that the bodies of Lucas Trejo’s family members have been found lifeless.
“We thank everyone for the support and ask for the most sincere respect for his family at this time. WE PRAY FOR ETERNAL LIFE FOR THEM.”
Trejo’s club, Venezuelan side Club Sport Marítimo de La Guaira, also confirmed the deaths in a statement and said that there had been a 74-hour search for his wife and children.
“Club Sport Maritimo La Guaira deeply mourns the loss suffered by Lucas Trejo’s family. We ask for respect for his relatives and teammates,” a statement read. “After a 74-hour search, they were found deceased.”
Former Major League Baseball player Gorkys Hernández, who was an outfielder most notably with the San Francisco Giants, lost his wife, Deisy Tovar de Hernández,36, who died when the Hotel Eduard in La Guaira collapsed. The couple had only been married for six months.
The latest figures on the devastation are 1.430 confirmed deaths with over 3,000 injured.
The estimates for those still missing range from 50,000 to nearly 69,000 people still unaccounted.
The Trump administration has announced a robust response, including $150 million in assistance, search-and-rescue teams, and coordination with partners.
President Donald Trump shared his intent to help in a post on Truth Social.
The President wrote, “The two major earthquakes that just hit the great people of Venezuela are both massive in scale and have left a devastating number of deaths.”
“The U.S.A. stands ready, willing, and able to help! I have instructed all agencies of our government to get ready to move quickly.”

Democrat Senator Chris Coons was hospitalized after a car accident in Sussex County, Delaware, on Sunday.
The Delaware Senator was a passenger in a car that was involved in a multi-car collision.
The nature of his injuries is not clear.
Coons is now home and recovering from his injuries, his office said.
“Earlier today, a Delaware driver experienced a medical incident and collided with several cars, including one in which Senator Coons was a passenger. Senator Coons was transported to Beebe Hospital and treated for minor injuries,” Coons’ office said.
“He is now home and expected to make a full and swift recovery,” Coons’ office said in a statement.
“Senator Coons is deeply grateful to the first responders for their prompt and professional response, including the Lewes Police Department, Lewes and Rehoboth Fire Departments, and Sussex County Emergency Medical Services, as well as the capable doctors and nurses at Beebe Hospital, where he received excellent care. He feels relieved and blessed that by all accounts no one was seriously injured during the crash,” his office said.
Coons was elected to the senate in 2010. He is currently Delaware’s senior senator.
U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) announced that, following an intensive investigation by ICE Homeland Security Investigations special agents, a Mexican national living abroad is being extradited to the U.S. to face horrific charges.
Abelardo Sanchez, a 39-year-old citizen of Mexico who had been living in Dublin, Ireland before fleeing to Austria, was extradited to face justice for allegedly producing child sexual abuse material. Sanchez made his first appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Juan F. Alanis on June 8 in McAllen.
Special agents discovered an online account that contained child sexual abuse material during an investigation, with some of the material appearing to have been produced by Sanchez dating back to 2014.
Investigators were able to identify a child victim who lived in Texas at the time Sanchez produced the images.
Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella noted, “The fight against child sexual exploitation transcends borders. It requires collaboration between law enforcement at every level and across the world.
“HSI special agents in The Hague, Dublin and Vienna teamed up with our international law enforcement partners and our special agents in McAllen to investigate this case.”
“Our team also relied on the Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs to assist with securing Sanchez’s arrest and extradition.”
If convicted, Sanchez faces a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 50 years in federal prison, as well as a possible fine of up to $250,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney M. Alexis Garcia is prosecuting the case, which was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood.
The nationwide initiative from the Department of Justice was launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section leads PSC, which marshals federal, state and local resources to locate, apprehend and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children and identifies and rescues victims.
39-year-old Mexican citizen Abelardo Sanchez, who had been living in Ireland and fled to Austria, made his first court appearance June 8 in McAllen, Texas for allegedly producing child sexual abuse material.
The Senate’s newly released version of the 2026 Farm Bill includes White Coat Waste-backed language that prohibits the U.S. Department of Agriculture from funding animal research laboratories in China, Russia, and other adversarial nations.
The provision, led by Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, appears as Section 7130 on page 495 of the bill and marks a major step toward protecting American taxpayers from subsidizing cruel and wasteful experiments in foreign laboratories.

Section 7130, titled “Limitation on certain research in countries of concern,” bars the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics, from conducting or funding any research, education, or extension activities involving vertebrate animals in “the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, or any other foreign country of concern.”
The restriction applies to work done in those countries or in collaboration with them.
A narrow waiver will be available on a case-by-case basis only when necessary for national security, animal or crop health, or public health, safety, or welfare, but any waiver requires at least 30 days’ advance notification to congressional committees with detailed justification, including the location, collaborators, species of animals involved, costs, and duration.
This follows years of White Coat Waste investigations that uncovered shocking examples of USDA money flowing to dangerous animal experiments abroad.
One major investigation revealed that the USDA had launched a five-year, $1 million collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the parent organization of the Wuhan animal lab, to conduct gain-of-function experiments on bird flu viruses.
The goal was to enhance the viruses and test whether they could jump to mammals.
Records showed that young animals, including some just one day old, were infected and subjected to painful “severe” experiments without pain relief, often resulting in suffering and death.
After sustained pressure from White Coat Waste, bipartisan lawmakers, including Sen. Ernst and Rep. Ben Cline, and a yearlong campaign, the Trump administration’s Agriculture Secretary, Brooke Rollins, announced that the project was being canceled.
Another White Coat Waste investigation exposed USDA funding routed through U.S. universities to a Kremlin-linked institute in Russia.
Taxpayer dollars funded deadly experiments on silver foxes at a fur farm controlled by Russian authorities.
Between 2018 and 2020, the University of Illinois sent over $123,000 as part of a larger grant to study the foxes’ social behavior. The animals were ultimately killed and their brains dissected.

The House version of the Farm Bill, which passed in April, already included this same White Coat Waste-backed measure to cut funding for animal labs in adversarial nations.
It went even further by adding language to defund painful USDA experiments on dogs and cats and requiring all federal facilities to implement policies for retiring lab animals and making them available for adoption when testing ends.

On Sunday, RINO Ohio Governor Mike DeWine could stop himself from lying in an effort to defend the presence of Haitians in Ohio on Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
DeWine appeared on State of the Union with Jake Tapper to weigh in on a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that allowed President Trump to end TPS for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians.
As a result, 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians will lose their status and have to return home.
Ohio will be particularly impacted by the ruling. Reports indicate that roughly 30,000 Haitians live in the Buckeye State, with almost half of those residing in Springfield.
As TGP readers know, the presence of thousands of Haitians in Springfield rightfully sparked fury from both residents and conservative politicians. They have ‘culturally enriched’ the city with activities, including committing DUIs and dining on wildlife in medieval fashion.

But as one X user notes, DeWine’s statement is nothing but a huge lie.
Tara Servatius shared a Truth Social post from President Trump, which showed that roughly 50% of Haitians and Syrians are on federal welfare.

Making the lie even more obvious is the fact that DeWine was forced to send state troopers to Springfield two years ago to handle the surge of Haitians.
“These dramatic surges impact every citizen of the community, every citizen,” he said at the time.
“Moms who have to wait hours in a waiting room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets, and it affects children who go to school in more crowded classrooms.”

That choice was not a technical detail. It was the blueprint for what would count as “reform.”
A $300 Million “Mend” That Left a 13‑Year‑Old in a Hospital Bed
While consultants and state lawmakers talked about strategy and transformation, the state continued quietly sending children to Provo Canyon School in Utah, for-profit residential psychiatric and behavioral facility with a long history of complaints and abuse allegations. Montana has paid Provo Canyon roughly $26 million over the last decade, proving this was a pipeline, not a one‑off placement.
Then a 13‑year‑old Montana boy allegedly suffered a traumatic brain injury at Provo Canyon. Families, backed by Paris Hilton, have now taken the facility to court, alleging delays and failures in his care. Only after that catastrophic harm did Montana officials suspend new referrals to the facility. This is what “mend” looks like in practice: a child badly injured in a facility the state has patronized for years, and reform arriving only after the fact.
The China Question No One in Power Wants to Ask
The China connection is not about Provo Canyon being a Chinese institution. It is about who Montana chose to trust with redesigning its behavioral health system and how it impacts national security and vulnerable children.

Montana’s decision was to pay that firm, at hundreds of dollars an hour, help steer how a $300 million “Future Generations” behavioral health investment would be structured and spent. That included advising on the overall continuum of care, financing strategies, and the shape of state services.
At a minimum, the choice raises a basic question the public deserves answered: why would any American state outsource the redesign of its already failing behavioral health system to a consulting firm tied to China, instead of building transparent, accountable capacity at home? If the result of that choice is a polished reform narrative on paper and a child with a brain injury in real life, then the outsourcing model—not just its implementation—has to be on trial.
What Real “Mending” Would Have Done
If this were genuine reform, certain basics would have been non‑negotiable:
Reducing reliance on controversial out‑of‑state corporate psychiatric institutions.
Building in‑state, community‑based alternatives with real oversight with a high focus on educational resources.
Systematically reviewing high‑risk legacy vendors like Provo Canyon and closing dangerous pipelines, not leaving them to run until disaster forced a pause.
Instead, while the consulting machinery turned, the state kept exporting high‑risk youth to Provo Canyon. The facility stayed open. The contracts stayed in motion. The checks kept going out.
