In lawless Britain, not even attending a wedding is safe.

Apart from Sadiq Khan-led London, Birmingham is considered the most violent city in the UK.

It has ‘higher-than-average’ criminality (what an euphemism), with rising violent crime and burglaries.

Yesterday (19), we learned that even a wedding reception can be a dangerous proposition.

Some outlets are framing the firebombs at a Pakistani venue as ‘an attack on supercars’ – and maybe that’s what it was – but the CCTV images show at least one Molotov cocktail hitting the entrance of the hotel.

Be as it may, two ‘supercars’ did get torched in the firebomb attack.

The Telegraph reported:

“A McLaren and a Ferrari went up in flames after a hooded assailant threw at least three petrol bombs at the vehicles outside Royal Shalimar, a Pakistani wedding venue in Sparkbrook, on Wednesday evening.

CCTV footage from the incident shows the vehicles burning and several smaller fires breaking out nearby, including one at the front of the venue, at around 8.50pm.”

Hotel staff members fought the flames before emergency services arrived.

“The footage, posted on social media, showed several figures dressed in black standing opposite the venue, before what appeared to have been petrol bombs were hurled at the cars. The figures could then be seen fleeing the scene after men ran out to confront them.

West Midlands Police has launched an investigation into the incident. There were no injuries.”
